Well... seems like i won't be able to finish my fast the day i planned because my parents want to take us out for some ice cream and i can't say no because they already know i have not eaten anything for days so... fml

At least i'll buy the battery for my scale and bananas to do jeon somi's banana diet which helped me lose 3.7kg - 8.1lbs in just four days last time i did it.

okay im not gonna hold back on this cause genuinely there are a lot of kpop songs i do not like and i'm not saying these songs are horrible necessarily just that they personally annoy me so like don't come attacking me anyone 👹

a lot of these granted are annoying because they were overplayed on tiktok mostly but a good portion of these i just hate the song structure or vocals.... so yeah that's my list there's prob more but from off the top of my head those are the main ones 😭

Somi's Ice Cream is... hmm... terrible. I watched it up until minute 2, but then I realized there was another minute left and was like, nope!, and stopped watching. The MV was generic, the song was awful and completely unmemorable, and Somi herself is awkward. Her voice is also uninteresting. I remember liking Birthday when I was a kpop newbie (though I think many people hated it), but every song I've heard from her since has not been good. Fast Forward is just cringe. Her facial expressions and the choreo are awkward and cringe. The song is outdated too. Ice Cream is the same (less outdated) but she's still cringe. I do not understand her popularity at all. I don't even find her attractive (not saying she isn't!), so she's one of those few artists who's popularity is incomprehensible to me. But I haven't seen her in variety shows, which is where I think she shines.

I haven’t listened to it yet honestly but from what I’ve heard from pretty much everyone is the same thing.

You say she needs a new producer which I thought you meant Teddy but he’s only listed as a writer and the producers who worked on the song haven’t worked with her before (then again he still most likely had a hand in it since he composed all of Somi’s songs)

The producers who made Ice Cream worked on G-Idle’s Eyes Roll which I liked and Teddy also made Fast Forward which was pretty good so I’m not sure who/what you mean by same song

today was honestly a rollercoaster. but luckily it was a rollercoaster that kinda just shot straight up :)

pulling an all nighter highk sucked especially since I was too tired to wake up for work and had to cancel on my boss. she totally understood tho. AHH I LOVE MS. YUNMI SO MUCH <33

regardless, it still felt pretty bad because i hate feeling like im letting people at work down :( after i canceled on work i had to work on emails and a LONG assignment for LS23L (boo that class sucks)

after i finally finished my assignment i met up with my friend Karis Choi for some Gogobap in Westwood. It was my first time trying it and ?!?!?! it was SO GOOD! I will def be hitting Gogobap up again. ms. karis is such a sweetie and she is really fun to talk to :) then i met up with the homies trinity, sam, and jake to go out to eat with our family. we went to Sun Nong Dan and it was FIRE.... LITERALLY. omg now that i think about it the eats were so good today. cuz literally after we filled our bellies with galbi and rice cakes we went to the "aquarium" (somi somi) and got some delicious fishy ice creams.

to end off an already amazing night, my friend Selene and shawty bae Yas and I dropped off Jake at his house! we got to meet his mom who is an absolute sweetheart. we also got to pet some of his cats! AHH THEY WERE SO CUTE IM GONNA IMPLODE. jakes house has such as comforting energy. his mom was so kind and funny and then his cats were so cuddly and would purr when we pet them 😭

although this day was pretty rough, i am so happy that i got to spend time with my friends. they really are the best and words can not describe how grateful I am that i got to meet them

SOMI - Ice Cream (Review)

It’s been weeks since I posted a review and in internet standard time that’s basically 5 centuries. So not only am I doing this review because the song was recently released but also because I really need more than 2 of you guys reading this blog. More on Somi as an artist I’ve grown out of my liking for her music a little bit but I do still enjoy tracks like Birthday and Anymore. So now without further ado let’s get into the song!

SOMI - Ice Cream

As for the actual song I think it’s a fun little summery track but I don’t see myself playing it over and over. I thought the music video was cute and I liked beginning of the song. Ice Cream isn’t outstanding but it doesn’t need to be. It’s just ok. Maybe a little outdated and generic but there’s clearly an audience for it to have been released. My little sister liked it when I played it for her so that must mean something

“I think its cute to be honest” You said “I hate miso soup” “why DO you hate miso soup?” You asked, irking a brow “its just so basic yk? Also I kinda hate the taste I don’t know” somi explains

“ah, yes. The one and only hot Somi hates anything and everything basic” you retorted with a grin “I mean… you aren’t wrong though, Like, why would you be the same as everyone when you could be different?” She says with a half-serious tone

“Point taken.” You gave in “so… wanna sleepover at my house?” She asked, changing topics “I thought we were going to the cafe tmrw?🤨” “do u want to or no tf?” “fine” “get in then”

You went to somi’s kitchen, opening her fridge which had nothing but bottles of alcohol “why is your fridge empty?? Also aren’t you drinking too much?” You asked, concerned

“Well I usually just order takeout, too lazy to cook anything and you can never have too much alcohol” she remarked

“Should we get groceries then?” You asked “sure, I’ll drive” somi replied

“Okay, we got all the snacks and drinks. Lets go back at my place” somi proclaimed “why’d we took so long though LMAO” you questioned

“I don’t know why are u asking ME” somi retorted, giggling “whatever just help me put the groceries at the back” she uttered

“Yo should we get ice cream on the way back? Its my treat this time” she insisted, turning on her car “How could I say no to ice cream tf????” you replied

“So n/n, I know i’ve been asking this alot, but how do you not have a boyfriend yet. I mean— i don’t get it you’re literally a fucking goddess” she asks, while driving

“I really don’t know…” you plainly responded “there must be someone you like? What about your old volleyball friends, they’re hot” she uttered

Somi turned to look at you and softened her look “I’m sorry y/n I didn’t mean to.” “Its oka- HEY WATCH OUT!” you yelled

Somi stepped into the brakes, before she crashes into something “KEEP YOUR EYES ON THE ROAD” you yelped “OH MY GOD DID WE HIT A PERSON” somi panicked

“I don’t know… but I did see something, I’m not sure what it is though.” You said, trying not to panic “should we go check?!” You asked

“The hell we aren’t! Haven’t you watched horror movies at all?!? If we go check, there’s a 90% chance something bad will happen. I’m sure we didn’t hit anything. And even if we did hit a person, their bodies should have been flying and we should’ve heard or seen it! I’m sure they’ll live the fuck?” She quickly explains

“This isn’t a horror movie. But fine, drive. Just keep your eyes on the road for fucks sake” you retorted

Somi hesitantly drove away, not wanting to know if she hit anyone or anything. She turns to look at you for a second

Coming days were nothing but a bundle of joy and moments, where you wanted time to stop or just capture those moments. After Baekhyun's first visit, he kept visiting your family and has gotten close to them.

Sometimes, you will find him in the kitchen with your mom helping her or with your dad having some discussion where you could hear them laughing about something. Baekhyun was already close with Daniel but by coming often, they became more close and not to mention, He and Jae have become best buddies.

Chanyeol and Ria's relationship was going stronger with the time whereas, Sehun was trying hard to impress Park Sooyoung and it was going well for now.

Mark finally had the courage to ask his crush out on a date while you and Ria being his friends were the most happiest ones. One thing definitely came a surprise to you when Lauren apologized to you and the boys.

You all did forgive her as there's nothing good in holding grudge for a long time and you could notice her change of character as she was also trying to do everything for Rowoon to forgive her.

It was an usual day where you were gathered in the cafeteria, eating and talking with your seniors about the exams which were aproaching soon as everyone continued their lunch before leaving to study.

He chuckled taking your bag in one hand before grasping your hand and walked out heading to the library.

As you both entered in the library, you found your seats beside eachother and began to study. After some time, your eyelids went heavy and before you know it, your head was on the book and drifted in your dreamland.

Baekhyun who was busy typing on his laptop, took a brief glance at you to see you sleeping peacefully with your cheek squished on the book. He smiled as how adorable you looked before taking his phone and opened the camera to capture your sleeping face.

He slightly smiled at the taken picture and put it back before taking closing your other notebooks.

"She sleeps like a baby." He mused tucking hair behind your ear and stared at you with a dreamy smile on his lips before continuing his work while glancing at you time to time.

You stirred feeling uncomfortable and opened your eyes to see your boyfriend's focused in his work and you took the chance to stare at his face which looked nothing but attractive.

"Rise and shine sleepyhead." He spoke without looking at you and you snapped out sitting up straight before stretching your body.

"How long I was sleeping?" You rubbed your eyes and leaned back to look at him.

"Barely 20 minutes." He said closing his laptop and turned to you. "You slept well, thanks to someone."

You pressed your lips together trying not to grin at his remark but all in vain when you saw him smiling while packing up his things. You grabbed his wrist to check time and it was time to go to the Café before packing your things and left with him.

You both started working where Baekhyun informed Rose that he won't be able to work at the Café after his graduation which was too close for your liking. Rose was a little upset but she couldn't do anything about it too and you also were a little sad thinking about it.

Then someone's presence surprised you at the Café who was none other than Somi herself. She came to meet Baekhyun and you as she was moving to abroad for her further studies.

You both understood and as the closing time approached, Rose and you were seated on the table chatting with Somi where you forgot that your boyfriend was present too.

Baekhyun standing at the counter watching those three women busy laughing at something and to his girlfriend who seemed to be forgetting about him. Aproaching your table, he sat beside you but to his surprise, you didn't look at him.

Baekhyun began to sulk and took a sip from your orange juice but pouted when you didn't glance at him then sighing, he just played with the tip of your open hair but little did he knew, you were secretly glancing and smiling at him.

Not long after, Somi went home and Rose also closed the Café where Jack came to pick her up and both left leaving you and your sulky boyfriend behind.

"Hey!" You bumped your shoulder to his to get his attention and he rolled his eyes slightly pouting.

"You finally remember that you have a boyfriend." He remarked sarcastically and you stiffed your laugh.

"Eyy! What are you talking about? I'd never forget about you."

He lowly scoffed. "Didn't seem like that earlier."

You bit your lip. "That was because I wouldn't see Somi again but you have me for lifetime."

He turned his head away from you as he tried not smile at your words and stick to his sulking mission which was getting hard now.

You chuckled as you saw him smiling. "Geez, this sulky baby."

He whipped his head towards you surprised. "Did you just say baby?"

Your eyes enlarged and you coughed out. "I said sulky too."

"I only hear good things." He stated before turning away his head again.

"Come on!" You held his hand swaying it lightly. "Stop being mad, How about I treat you something?"

He looked down at your swaying hands and then you frowning. "Excuse me? Your bribe won't work on me."

"But I think it's working." You smiled trying peek at his face and he couldn't resist but smile at your cute grin.

"Gosh, I can't even stay mad at you." He muttered making you giggle and you pecked his cheek before dragging him towards his car.

"Let's go have ice-cream!"

Baekhyun frowned. "Wait.. Wasn't it me getting something?"

You nodded. "Yeah but we'll have ice-cream too."

"No, young lady. You already had that cold orange juice and now cold ice-cream? You'll get sick." He opened the door and you sat in the front seat before he walked towards the other.

"But I'm craving for ice-cream!" You whined buckling your seatbelt and he sighed too hard to even say no to you before started driving while just hoping for you not to get sick.

Eyes wanting to be closed as the burning sensation rushed into your whole body making you lose your concentration in the class and needless to say, your head was aching so much like someone was banging it with a hammer.

You actually woke up with a slight headache but shrugged it off thinking it would go away but the opposite happened.

As the class was over, you instantly put your head on desk and closed your eyes where Ria sitting beside you came to check you up as she couldn't in the middle of the class.

"Y/n, You're burning up." She gasped placing her hand on your forehead and eyed your face turning pale worringly.

Meanwhile, Baekhyun was standing against the wall, hands tucked into his pockets outside of your classroom. The minute he saw you in the morning looking pale, he was sure you weren't well and hence he came here worried.

He instantly straightened himself when students began coming outside and they were shook to see him there. Not long before, the professor walked out and Baekhyun greeted him before walking inside.

As soon as he entered inside, his eyes spotted you sitting with your head on the desk and Ria by your side checking up on you. Ria looked up and felt relieved seeing Baekhyun coming towards them and stepped aside to let him see you.

You flinched feeling a cold hand on your forehead and opened your lazy eyes to see Baekhyun before sitting up.

"You have fever." He spoke calmly and you nodded slowly too lazy to speak.

"Let's go to infirmary, can you stand up?" He asked and you nodded.

He held your hand and you slowly stood up but a sudden pain hit your head making your vision blurry and you tried to hold something for you to hold you up but then you felt a hand on your back making you sit back.

"Sorry.. I-"

"It's okay." His arm slide around your waist and other under your knees before he picked you up. "It's okay, I've got you."

You nodded wounding your arms around his neck and your head in the crook of his neck where he felt your burning forehead making him sigh.

He looked back at Ria who was watching you worringly before he gestured her to get your stuffs and She nodded picking your stuff while walking outside with her internally squealing at the scene.

Baekhyun noticed the whispers and gasps as he walked down the hallway but he couldn't careless about it and pulled you closer hiding your face in his neck and headed outside.

Your eyes flutter opened and you were greeted by a white ceiling before sighing getting the attention of your bestfriend sitting on the chair beside you.

"Y/n, how are you?" She stood up and made you sit on the bed before you eyed the room and realized you were at the infirmary of your college.

"I'm feeling better." You weakly smiled at her before looking around for Baekhyun and Ria seemed to notice it. "Baekhyun Sunbae went to get your things."

You nodded. "But don't you have classes to attend?"

"Yeah I will, once Baekhyun Sunbae comes. I can't leave you alone here."

You chuckled. "I'm fine, go before you get late."

She was about to protest but Baekhyun walked inside with your bag in his hand and saw you sitting, he paced towards you faster and that's when Ria left leaving you both alone.

"You still have fever." He placed the back of his hand on your forehead and you leaned into his touch. "Rest some more."

You scrunched your nose shaking your head. "I want to go home."

He nodded making you stand up. "How are you feeling?"

"I feel like if I take one more step, my head will fall off."

He snorted slinging your bag over his shoulder and you frowned. "You weren't supposed to laugh, I was expressing myself."

"Sorry, your way of expressing was a little funny."

You rolled your eyes too lazy to snap back while he wrapped his arm around your shoulder helping you walk outside and the nurse smiled at two sweetly.

Walking to his car, he placed your bag in the back seat with his bag before opening the front seat door and you sat in. He buckled your seatbelt and kissed the back of your hand as he closed the door leaving you smiling.

He started driving and kept glancing at you who's eyes were closed making him grab your hand gently as he caressed it slowly.

"Someone really didn't listened to me yesterday." He spoke and you bit your lip tightening your grip on his hand.

"No lectures please." You unconsciously pouted and he chuckled before pulling the car over to your house.

You both stood infront of your front door and he fished out keys from your bag before opening it. Your parents went to a wedding and Daniel was on his school trip while Jae was at his workplace.

You already told Baekhyun about it and hence he followed you till your room until he made you sit on the bed. He made you eat your medicine which you swallowed without whining leaving Baekhyun surprise.

"I'm okay now." You said as he placed the glass on the nightstand and looked at you. "You must be busy so you-"

"I'm not that busy." He cut you off. "And I can just bring my laptop here so don't feel bothered and just rest."

You nodded as you lay down and he wrapped the duvet over you before kissing your forehead he gave you a smile and left your room.

You stirred in your sleep and woke up hearing noises from downstairs and sat up thinking your parents are back before checking the time to see it was 4 in the evening.

Getting off the bed, you washed up and changed into your pajamas as always before heading downstairs. Reaching down, you spotted Baekhyun with your mom in the kitchen while eyeing something intently of what she was cooking.

You sighed not really surprised at the view infront of you and settled yourself on the dining table. You flinched by your dad's presence beside you and looked at him confusingly.

"Open your mouth." You frowned but then saw a thermometer in his hand and open it up as he placed it inside before taking it out after seconds.

He nodded. "Your fever is down now."

He walked in the kitchen and they began to talk about something making you smile at the sight before Baekhyun glanced at you and smiled. Soon, they were done with their things and turns out, your mom was cooking a soup for you and Baekhyun was learning it for some reason.

After a while, Jae came back from work and Baekhyun got busy with him. As the time went by, he was going home but your parents stopped him insisting him to have dinner here and he couldn't refuse them hence, he stayed for dinner.

Walking in hands in hands together as you were walking him out, even though he insisted not to but you were feeling bad about it and he couldn't win over your stubbornness.

"I told you not to walk me out." He trailed off, as he leaned his back against the car before placing the back of his hand on your forehead. "Your fever is gone but still, make sure to take medicine before sleeping."

You constantly nodded at his nagging tone before feeling his intent eyes causing you to frown. "What are you looking at?"

You." He blurted out but then laughed at your surprised face. "This is the first time, I'm seeing you in pajamas."

You cheeks heat up as you palmed your cheek feeling the warmth. "I think my fever is coming back."

Baekhyun hummed, nodding as he tilted his head leaning in. "Not like you're blushing right now."

You bit your lip slapping his arm making him chuckle. "Oh, wow, you've still got the strength."

"Of course!"

He smiled but then chuckled deeply before holding your wrist gently and eyed it curiously. "I really wonder, how this small hand can be this strong?"

You rolled your eyes. "Want a demo then?"

He smiled innocently shaking his head. "No, I don't want to ruin my handsome face."

You scoffed. "And my hands are not that small."

"Oh yeah?" He opened your hand before leaning his palm against yours and giggled. "Look, they are so small."

You looked away unconsciously pouting before feeling him interlocking his fingers with yours. "But just perfect for me."

You smiled shyly before he spun you around and pulled you close making your back lean against his chest. He moved your hair from your shoulder to the back causing his fingers brush against your neck sending chills down your spine and placed his chin on your shoulder.

"You're so small, I wish... I could just put you in my pocket and steal you away but your dad would probably kill me." He pouted and you laughed before playing with his hands as he pressed his lips on your cheek.

Sighing, he turned you around as he took your arms, wrapping around his waist with his arms circled around your torso as he pulled you closer. "Do you know how scared and worried I was, when you literally passed out in my arms?"

You stared at his concerned face with a guilty expression and sighed. "Were you really worried? I'm sorry, I shouldn't have been stubborn."

"Glad you know that." He smiled, playfully making you roll your eyes before he reached out, cupping your jaw slightly squishing your cheeks as your lips turned into a pout. "Do me a favor and take care of yourself, hm?"

You grabbed his both wrist, nodding as you whined attempting to let go but your breath hitched, when he kissed your lips suddenly leaving you surprised. Your eyes enlarged which you instantly closed in the moment giving in with your heart pounding loudly behind your chest and your cheeks flushed.

"I didn't wanted to say it like this but.." He trailed off smiling while scrunching his button nose cutely before kissing your forehead. "I think I really love you."

Your heart stopped for a moment as you stared in his sparkling eyes and wide smile, making you smile back joyfully. "Feeling is mutual."

He chuckled at your reply but it was worth it for now before he nodded pinching your nose and drove away.

You watched his car disappearing from your sight and you sighed smiling while remembering the moment just happened as your fingers went to your lips while a shy smile broke out on your lips as you hid your face in your palms.

Giggling to yourself, you turned around. "Ahh!"

There stood, your little brother, Daniel with his hands shoved in his hoodie pockets and a cheeky grin playing on his lips and you palmed your chest. "You scared me! What are you doing there?"

He wriggled his eyebrows, teasingly. "I saw it."

You blinked, clearing your throat as you stood straight. "Saw what?"

"That you and Baekhyunee Hyung were doing..," He trailed off puckering his lips and your jaw dropped as you gasped. "Don't you dare, Dan."

"Deal, if you give me half of your pocket money." He smiled and you scoffed. "As if."

"Then, I'm going to tell everyone inside." He stuck out his tongue before running inside with you chasing and yelling. "You better stop being I kill you!"

"Mom! Potato is on killing mood again!"

It's been three days to that day and you were all better now and currently were sitting on a bench while tying your skating shoes. Well, not you but your boyfriend helping you do it as he was kneeling down infront of you.

Boys suddenly wanted to go skating surprising you as yesterday they were busy studying and now this. Nevertheless, you agreed to go and were present with everyone.

"Do you know how to skate?" Baekhyun asked as he sat down beside you while tying his shoes and you nodded.

"But I don't." He pouted and you chuckled patting his back. "It's okay, I'll teach you."

Everyone walked towards the big ground where lots of people were enjoying and soon, Ria and Chanyeol began skating smoothly hand in hand leaving you smiling but someone was being grumpy.

You laughed looking at Baekhyun. "Why?"

"I want to do it like that." He replied pointing towards the couple infront of you and you sighed shaking your head before a thud sound caught your attention.

There they were, Sehun and Jongin on the ground grunting and laughing while clutching to Kyungsoo who shrugged them away making you both laugh.

Minseok and Jongdae went to them while skating and made them stand up before guiding them and Yixing behind them with his hand on both of their backs while Junmyeon was just giving them a done face as they kept falling.

"Let's go." You held Baekhyun's hand and guided him to the ground while going backwards and giggled at him struggling cutely.

"Don't let go of my hand." He tightened his grip on your hand and you smiled pulling him with you carefully. "Never."

And after few attempts of falling and trying, he finally balanced skating freely and it was obvious since he always have been a quick learner.

"Oh, you're doing great." You looked at him amazed and he grinned shyly.

"Well, I learned from the best." He raised his and now it was your turn to smile shyly.

"I have to tell you something." He suddenly said and you nodded indicating him to continue while walking backwards. "My family wants to meet you."

Your foot slipped and you gasped falling backwards leaving the latter shook and he instantly held you by your waist but it was too late as you both fell down with him on top of you.

You opened your eyes to see his face close to you making you widen your eyes and his hand under your head.

He leaned back a little to check you and giggled. "Are you okay?"

"Apart from my boyfriend telling me that his family wants to me and leaving me shook, I'm absolutely fine."

Your sarcastic answer left him laughing and you rolled you eyes before realizing you position and your cheeks heat up.

"Oh, it's blushing time." He poked your cheek and you realized that people were staring at you both.

"How many times I have told you to get a room?" You both turned to the voice which belonged to Jongin who was shaking his head and Baekhyun slapped his legs making him fall on the ground.

You both laughed and he glared at Baekhyun before you pushed him gently. "Aren't you gonna get up?"

"I don't really want to though."

You rolled your eyes. "Shut up and get up."

He chuckled getting up and helping you up on your feet and you both walked towards the resting area and stood against the railing where Ria was already standing.

"I saw what you did there." She wriggled her eyebrows teasingly and Baekhyun looked at her with exact expression while you rolled your eyes before sitting on a bench beside the railing.

"I'm gonna go compete with him and win." Baekhyun sat beside you pointing at Chanyeol who was currently making faces at him purposely provoking him which was working.

"I doubt it." Ria spoke admiring her boyfriend while you and Baekhyun shot a look at her.

"Are you challenging me?" Baekhyun put his chin on your shoulder looking over her and she shrugged smugly.

"Coffee bean, cheer for me." He looked at you and you nodded chuckling before he looked at Ria challenging. "I'm gonna win."

"Wait." You stopped him as he was about to stand up and bent down a little to tie his shoelace which was loosen.

"What are you-"

"Done." You looked up at him smiling and he sighed before flashing you his lovely smile.

"I could have done that."

You just shrugged grinning before shooed him away and he walked away not before leaving a peck on your cheek.

Your eyes enlarged and you extended your arm towards him to smack him but he ran away giggling before you looked back at your bestfriend staring at you with a smirk.

You raised your eyebrows. "What?"

"Nothing, just watching my bestie growing up. " She grinned mischievously nodding towards your side and you just rolled your eyes as she wasn't wrong too.

She giggled. "No but seriously, do you actually remember that couple of months ago, we were just sitting on the bleachers watching their game and not having a slightest idea of dating one of them?"

You giggled nodding. "Life really is unexpected."

"Right." She nodded. "But we haven't been spending time lately. Let's have a girls night tonight."

"Let's do it." You smiled before watching the boys pushing and pulling eachother jokingly making you two laugh at them. That's when Baekhyun was running behind Chanyeol and tackled him down with him falling down too.

"Careful!" You exclaimed but then shook your head seeing the Boys jumping over them playfully while laughing making you both girls smile.

Indeed life was unexpected yet beautiful.

The next morning you prepared yourself for whatever Mrs. Park has called you over for. Your mind raced with plenty of questions and the main question was— Why did she want to meet you in the absence of Jinyoung? But you were curious about the reason behind it.

Your thoughts were interrupted by the buzzing of your phone, picking it up almost immediately you began cheerfully, "Hey! JB!".

"Hi Y/N!" He chuckled commenting, "Forever a cutie, I see". Pouting at his constant laughs you shouted, "Why are you chuckling every now and then?".

"Because it's kind of rare to see you up so early in the morning let alone in such a pleasant mood. Are you sure you're not consuming drugs?", He asked pretending to be serious. Creasing your forehead in annoyance you retorted, "Stop it Jaebeom! And just tell me why are you chewing my brain so early?".

"I've called you to ask you out on a brunch~", He mused. "I don't think so because I've to go to Jinyoung's house today", You reasoned massaging your temples.

"Jinyoung's house? Did you guys—".

"Don't put pressure on your small brain.....I'm going because his mother wants to meet me", You informed between heavy sighs.

He hummed in response trying to come up with some other word, "She called you over.....What can be the reason?".

"I absolutely have no idea", You purposely put emphasis on no. "And to be very honest Jaebeom I'm so worried.....and scared".

"What's there to be scared about Y/N? She's just his mother plus you both are basically mother- daughter", He stated in a pretty chill manner, "You're not going there to become a Victoria Secret's model and what's there to be so worried when Jinyoung will be there?".

"The thing is she wants to meet me in Jinyoung's absence", You bursted his bubble. Almost choking on his smoothie, he yelled "In the absence of Jinyoung! Wait....What! That has never happened?!".

"I know and that's why I'm worried and scared!" You shrieked biting on your nails slightly. "Okay listen take a deep breath and just go for it!" He cheered.

"You're scaring me even more!".

The talk with Jaebeom didn't go really well, by the time you hung up on him. Your heart was literally pounding terror which has now started to course through your veins. Yugyeom wasn't home luckily, he left a sticky note on the refrigerator saying he's going to hangout with BamBam and asked you to not to wait up for him.

Giving yourself a final look in the mirror, you let out a loud exhale "You can do this". It's not like you were scared of Mrs. Park instead you were scared of the reason she wanted to meet you and for some reason your insides were churning. A multiple questions swam in your head all over again. Is it about Jinyoung's sudden marriage announcement?

"Yugyeom..." BamBam called placing his right hand on his friend's shoulder, "I don't think it's a good idea to pressurize Noona anymore....She's already so hurt by hyung—".

"She is an idiot! A fucking idiot!", Yugyeom exasperated breath glaring at BamBam, "I know I'm talking about my elder sister.....I don't disrespect her, I never did. But she is practically killing herself bit by bit, Do you think she can handle it for longer?".

Shaking his head briefly BamBam expressed, "No she can't, but whatever the case maybe, you don't have to force her....let her collect herself.... everything is still fresh".

"Collect herself? She took three weeks just to cry and overwork herself....there was absolutely nothing regarding moving on. And Bam do you think you can move on from a person whom you've loved all your life huh? At some point I could think that she'll recover but.....she can't, because Jinyoung hyung is her bestfriend! He'll forever be lurking before her eyes....with Somi!", Yugyeom snapped, his face turning red from frustration, "The night of hyung's wedding announcement when I confronted Noona, I asked her why did she do this to herself....you know what she said?".

BamBam kept quiet giving Yugyeom the cue to continue.

"She said that she did it for Jinyoung hyung's happiness, and that his happiness is all that matters to her....", Yugyeom's voice lowered a tear brimming at the corner of his eye, "I feel suffocated living in that house now, there's nothing same about her.... she stays at work the entire time, returns home late....cries by herself".

Processing each of yugyeom's words and his pain, BamBam lowered his head realising how difficult it has been not only for but Yugyeom as well. He has never seen Yugyeom this sad and hurt before and same goes for you, but the thing is you were always good at masking your feelings and that's exactly why you're paying for it.

"Tell me BamBam, After all of this how can I let Noona suffer anymore and let Jinyoung hyung live a forever happy life with his beloved without him knowing Noona's feelings?".

BamBam understood where Yugyeom stood, "You're right... Jinyoung hyung must know about Noona".

Staring outside the window at the sprinting trees, Jinyoung asked to the man sitting beside him driving the car, "Where are we going?".

"To Busan", He blurted giving Jinyoung a tight lipped smile. "But why? I don't remember having a meeting there Jackson", He tried to reason.

"We don't have any meetings there, but there's an important work for you there", Jackson smiled for a moment before looking ahead.

"Hmm....Okay", Deciding not to ask further Jinyoung zipped his mouth fishing out his phone, staring at his phone's wallpaper which was a selfie of you and him having ice creams. He smiled focusing on your cheerful face, and he missed your smile, your laughs. He missed you.

Sighing he asked Jackson, "Jackson, Do you know what Y/N has been up to?".

Creasing his forehead for a second Jackson asked back teasingly, "No....Why? Are you missing her that much?".

"I am missing her a lot", Jinyoung admitted looking at your photos in his phone. "Yugyeom said that she's busy, but I feel like she's trying to avoid everyone around including me and I don't know why, I'm probably overthinking right now but something tells me it's not only work".

"Yeah...you're overthinking! Y/N is busy with her official work that's why she's unable to hangout. Maybe after relaxing herself a little she'll be back", Jackson cheered in a fake tone, he always found it amusing how you and Jinyoung had some sort of telepathic connection, and that's exactly why Jinyoung could feel something off about it.

Hope you could also feel her heart, Jackson thought to himself.

"Hey Jinyoung, How's Somi? Everything good?", He asked purposely just to divert him from talking about you. Smiling softly Jinyoung replied, "Everything's good, she's good".

"I don't see Somi around nowadays?" Jackson asked sending a side glance at the man sitting beside him. "Yeah, actually Somi is not in Seoul, she went back to Vancouver......some family issues".

"Oh...", Jackson consoled, "I hope everything resolves soon".

Entering your house silently, you locked the door behind with tears streaming down your cheeks. Walking a few steps your legs almost gave up, stumbling down the floor you hugged your knees to your chest crying harder.

"You have to break Jinyoung and Somi apart", Mrs.Park stated sternly. Unable to believe her words you chuckled, "Aunt...it's not funny".

"I'm not joking, you have to seperate them", Yanking your hands from her grasp you stared at her in disappointment. "Whatever you're asking me to do.... will break Jinyoung! He will hate me!", You yelled.

"Then would you rather let Jinyoung hate himself?", She asked her eyes glossy since the beginning but not a single drop of tear left her eyes.

"W—What do yo—you mean?", You stammered, your instincts sending alarms. "I can't tell you that for now, but if you don't want Jinyoung to hate himself, then you'll have to do that".

Resting the back of your head against the wall, you coughed a little from the continuous crying. You have seen Jinyoung loving Somi for an year now, you don't know how you overcame all that. Surely you wanted Jinyoung to love you the way you've always loved him but not by seperating him from Somi or sabotaging their relationship and that's the reason why you supported him in every step.

"If you love Jinyoung, then you'll do this. I'm not saying this because I hate Somi or something instead I care for her she's a great girl, but I also know about my son, he is not capable of loving her...and I don't want him to hurt her in the end".

Thinking of everything now, you can spend your entire life being his bestfriend rather someone whom he's going to hate for his entire life. You tried to protest but there was something lingering in Mrs. Park's eyes and voice that you came home agreeing to break Jinyoung and Somi apart knowing —

Jinyoung will never forgive you.

Hey Cat!! I hope you're doing well as always ! 💖 AHHHH huhu I closed the form last Sunday since I've collected enough responses dy! (NOOOOOOOO ToT) I got a total of 221 responses at the end of the week, which is 3x the amount I initially needed! :o I'm beyond grateful and appreciative ToT I've cleaned the data and have proceeded to run some data analysis, but I ran into an issue whereby the scores on the subscales are equal (it has never been reported in past studies! :O) so I'm waiting for my supervisor's feedback on how to proceed. Hopefully it's nothing too serious ToT

Hehe finance is interesting indeed! I just started reading a book on finance for young adults (Rich Dad Poor Dad) and I look forward to learning more from the author's tips! The Coursera introductory course has also made financial terms a lil more familiar, even though it's just the basics and it's really helped w my financial literacy 🥺 I can push myself to study but it's also the numbers and calculations I'm worried of cuz I am rly a nong (idiot) when it comes to numbers * - * it runs in the genes I guess AHAHAHAHA my mom and sister aren't good at numbers either keke

Aww I'm glad yr professor made financial accounting enjoyable and a fruitful experience for you! Some lecturers / professors rly just have that spark in them to inspire ppl and I'm blessed to be surrounded by a bunch of em in the psych department!🥺😭 it truly makes a difference and I'm sure we both are living proofs of that!

After debating for a while, I've decided not to take a minor mainly because I'm so tired HAHAHAHAHAHA and I'll just do my own self-studying and exploration whilst working! Go out and explore the world, live life! Whilst ironically still staying in my room because of the COVID-19 situation in our country (cases are abt 20+k every day :') ) My proposal has been finalized and it's been accepted! It's just that some elements of my proposal is also part of my actual report, so I have some guidance to refer to in terms of structure! :3 and yes don't worry! I got plenty (sometimes a lil too much) rest during the sem break whilst remaining productive! Plus, I got to catch up w some friends and had game nights (maybe too much of game nights hehe) and movie nights w my friends which was truly refreshing! Also cuz I might not see a lot of them again after we graduate so we gotta cherish every moment 🥺😭

What makes me most trilled abt learning abt psychology is how to apply it in daily life too! Also, the vaccine has fixed my sleep schedule HEHE (another perk of getting vaccination :3) I got some rly good rest and managed to reset my usual sleeping time, thank you science ToT oooo I see I see, we've had cases of nurses injecting empty syringes hence the recording :( but GHIOGHWEOGIOHW I could never do that, I can feel the liquid entering me as it is so that's good enough ToT (* plays Love Talk * I can feel it coming)

Always glad and honored to have you onboard! and AHAHAHAH the contractions about to start soon 👀 I enjoy talking to you huhu you're such a sweet and supportive person 💖🥺🥰😙 huhu for my period cramps, I've been having them since I was 12 ToT my doctor prescribed me some panadols but sometimes I can't even swallow them cuz I'd puke them out ToT I've settled w heatpacks to reduce my reliance on medicine, but I finally got some upgraded and safe to eat medicine from my gynae! She said it's fine to take it every month to keep my womb healthy and apparently my ms. lil uterus is suffering from inflammation, hence the super crazy bedridden cramps :( the upgraded medicine worked for a while, but after time it kinda didn't help either :/ but I realised that exercise rly does wonders to reduce the cramp too (gynae also recommended exercising) so i take walks and do my back stretches more frequently now! my period in the previous months (2 months ago) have been almost painless and bearable, it's so weird not seeing my bedridden ._. when I was in high school, there would always be a day in every month in which I don't attend classes, and that's solely because of my cramps. It just isn't worth suffering in school, plus we don't have a sick room :/ I hope the pain continues to subside! ToT

And ayy internship is also working experience, yr advice would be of great help to me regardless! 🥺 oh yes, I always remind myself that interviews are similar to the speaking test I took for my Cambridge English exams! That kinda help calm my nerves down a lil, but w nerves comes bigger smiles, so I guess it takes on a rather practical form of coping mechanism (sublimation) AHAHAHAHA

I aspire to be like you! 💖🥺🥰 huhu skill wise I believe I have lots to prepare esp in terms of case studies, and I perform rly poorly on certain assessments (*ehem * esp those concerning numbers) so I took the chance to study a lil during sem break too ToT but noted on that! I will work on that too and try to maintain that me element in interviews and overall just be myself keke

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ALL YOUR KIND COMPLIMENTS 😭😭💗💗 there were many late hours spent in the art studio to finish them, but i'm really happy with the end products :') i thought light bulbs are an interesting subject to do, and my prof said that cutting out circular objects or sculpting them is the most difficult since they're made up curves and not straight lines and i was like ok bet i'm gonna do it aND I'M SO GLAD I DID BECAUSE I REALLY LIKE THEM 🥺 and i love honey bees !!! that's why i decided to paint them and we were supposed to paint them in a combined style of two artists so i tried monet's impressionist style with the short brush strokes and pop art triptych style like marjorie strider 💕

aaaa yes i did !! i was really surprised that i got an offer from them all because at the time, i was not in the right major and i think i was one of the most underqualified applicants 🤧 one person who interviewed me asked why i withdrew from my engr physics class and i explained it in a kinda funny way but in my head, i was like "oof i'm not gonna get this offer anymore" but then he laughed at my response and told me about how his prof told him he should drop a guitar class he was taking because he was doing very poorly and we bonded over that aklsjdhfkals omg how do interviews for psych jobs go? do you have to discuss a lot of case studies? do they give you a list of possible case studies they'll ask about? :o what sort of assessments do you have to do? good luck on all of your interviews, honey bee 💛 i'm rooting for you, you're gonna do amazing !!!! 💘

Okay I feel kind of bad about the things I wrote about naya before. She’s been back to 100% the past few days and she is a joy and a pleasure to be around lol. She’s funny. Sweet. And just the right amount of naughty. Like regular kid naughty (dumping her toys on the ground kind of a thing).

We went to the farm today wth Naomi and Naomi’s sil/kids. When we got there it seriously felt like a magical place. So many different activities and booths set up. Fruits and veggies everywhere. Easter egg decorations. Just so quaint and fun. Naya was a little shy at first and scared of the animals but soon she was having a blast. Gina brought kimbap and I contributed nothing so I wanted to buy the kids a treat. I got them each an ice cream cone with sprinkles and like it was super cute but I also felt bad to Gina and Naomi because a little bit of chaos / mess ensued. I can also tell that I am definitely the loosest of most moms. I give naya so much sugar and tv time... as well as my mom. As soon as we got back from the farm my mom turned on the tv and gave them snacks. Earlier she gave them vitamin c gummies too. She gave naya 4 so she’d give somi 2 but of course she gave somi one and stuffed the remaining 3 in her cheeks. I really need to examine if I want to / need to become more strict...

Last night we went to the south pas farmers market on a whim and that felt magical too! Everything worked out perfectly. We were on our way for a target run bc we’d run out of diapers for naya and such (and just wanted an excuse to get out) when Jason said south pas was having its farmers market. We decided to go and texted Eileen/Jordan to see if they might be able to come and they were! We get there and there’s live music playing, good food stands, fresh produce and the sun is just about to set. I buy 2 cauliflower To take home (I’m really into making cauliflower), and then we bought roasted corn (which naya devoured. Her past few poops have been corn kernels in their original form. Like she’s not even biting them once it seems), baked potato (holy moly so good. They put sour cream and cheese and salsa), fish soltado, Indian food and for Nayas final treat, a “healthy” strawberry popsicle. This night too felt magical and perfect. Like why haven’t we been doing this sooner?? It was soooo nice that Eileen and Jordan could just pop over and meet us. Only one more month-ish of this left. :(. Gonna try to go every week from here on out.

Red Velvet: 

Ela has been friends with them since joining sm ent. She was supposed to debut with them but did not make the cut.  Even after leaving sm she still hangs out with them quite a lot. Her best friend is Joy and they always have each other’s backs. They have the cutest friendship and spend a lot of time together just doing nothing but enjoying each other’s company. When she has any problems, she comes to Irene for help or advice.

Monsta X:

She's closest to Changkyun and Kihyun. They don’t hang out a lot but when they do it’s something they will remember forever. Because their hanging out usually consists of cooking playing, FIFA or just trying to messed something up without even noticing. Just like once Minhyuk, Kihyun and Ela tried to make bath bombs an almost burned the kitchen don't ask it was a disaster. She’s lowkey banned from Monsta x’s dorm.

Seventeen:

Her best male friend is Joshua. Seungkwan and Ela lowkey have a beef and it started because she ate his ice cream in their dorm in 2017. GOT7 and Seventeen members find it funny, seeing them bicker a lot. Ela has a birthday twin in this group and it’s Wonwoo. The complete opposites. Only thing they have in common is birthday date and their love for cats. In 2019 they celebrated their birthday together with some other idols as guests. It was a surprise party made by Bambam, Yugyeom, Mingyu, DK and Joshua.

Sunmi:

Ela is like a younger sister to her. They met in 2014 when Ela joined jype. Sunmi is her role model and she’s thankful to have such an inspiring person in her life. They hang out mostly in Sunmi’s apartment and binge watch Netflix. Sunmi makes sure to promote her daughter every time Ela has a drama or a comeback with the group. Ela also supports Sunmi and tells Ahgase to check out Sunmi’s comebacks.

NCT/WayV: 

She knew some of them from her trainee days. Still in contact with Johnny, Mark, Taeyong, Ten and Jaehyun. She wants to befriend Yangyang next because he’s from Germany so why not become friends. She’s a bit scared of forgetting German so hanging out with him would be great for both of them.
