Can I request cute Dean fluff of him realising he’s in love with you when you take care or save Sam from something bc we all know that man would know he’s found the one when she cares just as much for Sam as he does

You’re kneeling next to Sam, your hands moving quickly as you press a clean rag against the gash on his arm. The hunt had gone sideways—too many moving parts, too many variables—but you’d managed to keep it from going completely off the rails. Now, the three of you are holed up in a shabby motel room, the faint smell of antiseptic mixing with the metallic tang of blood.
Dean stands a few feet away, his hands gripping the back of a chair, watching as you work. He should be helping, should be doing something, but all he can do is stare. There’s a look of determination on your face, tempered by the kind of gentle care that makes his chest ache.
“Hold still, Sam,” you murmur, your voice soft but firm. “I know it hurts, but this needs to be cleaned.”
Sam winces but doesn’t argue. “I’m fine. It’s not that bad.”
You glance up at him, arching an eyebrow. “Oh, really? Because you’re bleeding all over my jeans.”
Sam chuckles weakly, the sound turning into a hiss of pain as you dab at the wound. “Okay, maybe it’s a little bad.”
Dean’s lips twitch at the corners, but he doesn’t say anything. He’s too busy trying to process the strange, overwhelming warmth blooming in his chest. It’s not like he hasn’t seen you take care of someone before—you’ve patched him up more times than he can count—but this feels different. Watching you with Sam, seeing the way you’re willing to get your hands dirty to keep his brother safe... it does something to him.
“You’re gonna need stitches,” you say, your tone matter-of-fact as you reach for the first aid kit. “Dean, can you grab me the thread and needle?”
He snaps out of his daze, nodding quickly. “Yeah, yeah. Got it.” He rummages through the kit, pulling out the supplies and handing them to you. His fingers brush yours, and for a second, he forgets how to breathe.
You don’t notice—or maybe you do, but you don’t say anything. Instead, you focus on threading the needle, your hands steady despite the tension in the room. “This is gonna sting,” you warn Sam, your voice gentle.
“Just do it,” Sam mutters, bracing himself.
Dean watches as you work, your movements precise but careful. You talk to Sam the whole time, distracting him with small jokes and reassurances, and Dean can see the way his brother relaxes under your touch. It’s like you’ve got this magic about you, this ability to make even the worst situations feel manageable.
When you finally finish, tying off the last stitch, you sit back on your heels and let out a sigh. “There. You’re all patched up. Try not to rip it open again, okay?”
Sam gives you a small smile. “Thanks. You didn’t have to do all that.”
You roll your eyes. “Of course I did. What kind of person would I be if I let you bleed out in a crappy motel room?”
Dean’s heart stumbles in his chest. He can’t remember the last time someone cared about Sam like that—someone who wasn’t him. And it’s not just the act of taking care of him; it’s the way you do it like it’s the most natural thing in the world. Like Sam’s life is just as important to you as it is to him.
You stand up, brushing off your hands, and glance at Dean. “He’ll be fine, but he needs rest. And food. I’m guessing you haven’t eaten since this morning?”
Dean blinks, caught off guard. “Uh... no. Not really.”
You sigh, shaking your head. “Alright, I’ll order something. You two sit tight.”
As you step into the adjoining room to make the call, Dean looks over at Sam. His brother’s eyes are already closing, exhaustion pulling him under, but there’s a faint smile on his face.
When you come back, carrying your phone and rattling off a list of takeout options, Dean feels it hit him like a freight train. This is it. This is love. It’s not just about how he feels when you’re around—it’s about how you make everything better. How you make him better. How you’d do anything for Sam, the way he would.
You catch him staring and raise an eyebrow. “What?”
Dean shakes his head, a slow, disbelieving smile spreading across his face. “Nothing,” he says, his voice warm. “Just... thanks. For everything.”
Your expression softens, and you give him a small smile in return. “Always.”
Dean watches you for a moment longer, the realization settling deep in his bones. He’s in love with you. And if he’s honest, he doesn’t think he ever stood a chance.

My nerd - part 2
This is the second and last part of "My nerd"! You can find part 1 here. It's my longest story yet so I hope you guys like it. Also i really appreciate all the support on the first part! Special thanks to the person who asked for a second part, you made my day :D Once again sorry for any possible mistakes. Let me know what you guys think and enjoy!
Pairing(s): Nika Mühl x female!reader Word count: 4.9k+ Summary: You finally get to take Nika on a date and do your best to impress her. (Spoiler alert: it works) ------------
Waking up the following day, you had a grin on your face. Nika was lying on top of you, fully wrapped in your arms, snoring away. You smirked a little. The brunette’s snoring was the perfect teasing material, something you could quip back with when she inevitably brought up your nerdiness.
Looking over at your alarm clock, you see that it’s still pretty early. The Croatian girl probably wouldn’t be awake for another hour or so, which was just fine by you. You took this time to fully take her in. Her hair was a bit of a mess, most of it sticking out of her ponytail. You could still see some leftover mascara on her eyelashes, some having flaked off onto her cheeks. You were glad she let you take most of her makeup off before bed, knowing she hated falling asleep with it still on. Your eyes trail further down to her lips. You can’t believe you stopped her from kissing you yesterday. Her lips looking so soft and kissable. But you were also glad you did, not wanting her to regret anything and knowing that she was too drunk to properly consent.
You hold the smaller girl close, tracing shapes on her back. You really hoped she remembered everything that had happened the night before. You really wanted to take her out on that promised date, already having some ideas on what you wanted to do. You wouldn’t even mind her remembering the teasing and the way you looked with glasses and sleepy eyes. She’d probably poke some more fun at you with that stupidly hot smirk of hers, laughing to herself like she’s the funniest person in the world. You’d roll your eyes and act annoyed, but secretly you’d love it because her laugh is your favorite sound in the world.
You cuddle Nika for a while, thinking of all the things you had to do to get ready for your date (assuming she still wanted to go, that is.), before begrudgingly getting up. While staying in bed with your crush for the rest of the day sounded amazing, you had stuff to do. You make sure she’s tucked in and comfortable before giving her a kiss on the forehead and walking over to the bathroom. After grabbing her some painkillers for the headache she’ll no doubt have and a bottle of water from your fridge, you place them on your nightstand. You take a piece of paper, writing, “Good morning! Take these for your headache :) I’m in the kitchen making breakfast. X Y/N”, just in case she woke up before you returned. You get ready as quietly as you can, trying not to disturb the sleeping girl.
In the kitchen, you silently start grabbing everything you need to make the perfect hangover cure: avocado toast and a dippy egg. You’d partied with the team enough to know what each of them liked after a long night out, so you made sure to add a few strawberries, some of Nika’s favorite hangover fruits. Every so often, you’d pause, listening to your quiet dorm to make sure you didn’t accidentally wake her up. Knowing she’d wake up in your room, surrounded by your geeky stuff, you figured you’d go all out. You grabbed the egg cup in the shape of a Tardis out of your cupboard with a smirk, knowing Nika will have a field day with it.
Once you finish getting the avocado toast and the soft-boiled egg ready, you go over to the sink to start cleaning the fruit. As you’re almost done washing the red treats, you feel arms snake around your waist. You jump a little, not having heard the brunette as you were too busy trying to decide which flowers to buy for your date. Nika leans her forehead between your shoulder blades and groans a little before muttering a “G’morning”. You grin, her adorable accent prominent in her sleepy voice. You dry your hands on a towel before sliding them over her arms and settling them on hers. “Good morning, Niks. Did you sleep well?” you say softly, not wanting to hurt her head even more. “Mhm,” she hums. “Your head feeling alright?” you ask, smiling at how domestic all of this feels. “I could definitely get used to this,” you thought to yourself. “Ugh, I’m never getting drunk again,” she complains, but you both know she’ll be drinking like there’s no tomorrow the next time your team goes out again.
You turn around when she loosens her grip, sending her a smirk. You glide past her to put the rest of breakfast on the table, pulling out a chair for her. You sit down in front of her, grabbing your own plate before eating in a comfortable silence, waiting for Nika’s headache to pass. Noticing the nerdy egg cup, she laughs a little, shaking her head in amusement. You beam at her, sending her a mischievous wink. You don’t bring up yesterday’s flirting and teasing, slightly nervous, wondering if she remembers it and if she meant all of it. Looking up from your toast, you see that the Croatian is already looking at you with that cute smile of hers, eyes twinkling. You raise an eyebrow at her with a smile of your own present on your face.
“So,” she starts, “the best date of my life, ey?”. “Yes, ma’am,” you grin. She rolls her eyes at the title. “Okay, so, where are we going?” she questions, leaning forward a little. “Can’t say,” you smirk, “it’s a surprise.” She groans, leaning her head back in playful exasperation. You chuckle at her reaction but don’t give in. “So, are you free tonight?” you ask, excitement starting to bubble up in your chest. She looks back at you, tilting her head and scratching her chin with a smile, pretending to weigh her options. “Hm, I guess I could clear my schedule for you,” the girl says as she starts smiling widely, not being able to keep a straight face. You could see she was excited, though, not being able to sit still anymore.
“Good,” you stated. “I’ll pick you up at 6:30.”. Nika looks at you with her nose scrunched. “You’re really not gonna tell me, are you?”. You send her another wink before getting up to start putting away the dishes. “Can I at least know what I’m supposed to wear?” she challenges. You think for a moment before replying, “Nothing too fancy, something comfortable and casual… oh, and bring something warm.”. “Hmmm,” she hums, racking her brain about what you could have planned. You only look at her with a twinkle in your eyes, stretching your arms above your head as you get ready to part ways with the brunette until tonight. Your old shirt rides up a bit as you do, making a sliver of your stomach show. Nika’s eyes immediately dart to the exposed skin, your slight V-line on display. She swallows thickly, flicking her eyes back at the table before looking at you. You look at her smugly, letting her know you caught her staring.
Pursing her lips in playful annoyance, she gets up and starts walking towards your bedroom to get her stuff. You let her go, smiling in amusement. You quickly wash the dirty dishes before meeting Nika near the door. You grab her in a tight hug, your arms around her lower back as she wraps hers around your neck. “I’ll see you tonight,” she mumbles against your chest. You loosen your grip and reply with a grin, “See you tonight, princess.”. She flicks your head with an eyeroll at the term of endearment. The brunette starts walking away into the hallway and disappears around a corner with one last smile and wave.
Alright, it’s go time.
The first thing you do is grab your phone to call the nearest flower shop. While you knew red roses were classic date flowers, you had something else in mind. You remembered a conversation between Azzi and Nika you overheard a while back where they were talking about their birth flowers. You recall hearing Nika say she thought hers were cute, so you ask the lady on the phone to make you a beautiful bouquet of white daisies.
Once you’ve ordered the flowers, you hang up and walk back to your room. You already knew where you wanted to take her and what you wanted to wear, so there wasn’t really that much you could do until then. Since time always feels extremely slow when you’re excited for something, you figure you should do something useful with your time. You get dressed in some comfortable clothes before grabbing your keys and walking to your car. Before driving to the flower shop, you stop by the bank to make sure you have enough money on you for the date. Having collected the flowers, you drive back to your dorm, putting them in a nice vase for tonight.
Looking around and seeing there’s not much else you can do, you grab your laptop to finish off some homework you had ignored yesterday. You weren’t exactly in the mood to do it right now either, but you needed some kind of distraction, knowing you’d just be pacing around in your room all day otherwise.
Before you knew it, it was time to get ready. You grabbed your nicest black shirt (which was a little tight around your biceps. You hoped you’d be able to catch Nika staring again), as well as your black pants and belt. Putting on your favorite chain and spraying your nicest perfume, you look into the mirror. You smirk a little. Damn, you look good. You walk over to the door, putting on your new sneakers before grabbing the bouquet as well as your wallet, keys, and treasured leather jacket. You walk towards Nika’s dorm, hands slightly clammy with a heart that feels like it’s about to beat out of your chest. Reaching her door, you breathe in deeply, rolling your shoulders back and standing up a little straighter.
Knock knock.
The door opens as Paige appears with an amused smirk. “Well, well, well, look who we have here,” she grins. You roll your eyes with a smile of your own at her goofiness. Stepping aside, she lets you in before walking in front of you again and crossing her arms. She puts on a fake serious face and questions, “What are your intentions with my twin?”. You want to keep a straight face and play along, but you can’t, your lips curling into a smile.
“Leave my date alone, P.” you hear from behind you as Nika and Azzi walk out of the bathroom. You turn around, your mouth dropping open as you feel your heart skip a beat. Wow… Of course the Croatian always looked beautiful, but she looked like an actual goddess right now. She wore her army green crop top, her toned stomach on display. A new belly button piercing glinting in the light. A pair of black cargo parachute pants fitting her just right. You can see she’s wearing her signature number 10 necklace as well as a few dainty rings.
“You okay over there, L/N?” the brunette says with a smirk, but you can see a blush covering her cheeks as she looks you up and down. You close your mouth before clearing your throat and smiling softly at her. “You look beautiful, Niks,” you say, stepping forward to hand her the flowers. She takes them, her eyes crinkling with how much she’s smiling. “Thank you,” she breathes, taking a step closer to give you a hug. You wrap your arms around her waist, breathing in her perfume, warmth spreading in your chest. You two stand there until you hear Paige playfully clearing her throat. You let the smaller girl go before looking over to see Azzi give the blonde a playful push as she shakes her head. Nika walks over to Azzi, giving her the bouquet to put in a vase before you two say your goodbyes and start walking to the car.
Making quiet conversation, you reach the car, opening the passenger door with a grin. “M’lady,” you say, making the brunette laugh. “Oh my God, you nerd,” she says, her eyes twinkling in amusement. Once you get in the car, you start driving to your destination, letting Nika control the music. As the soft melodies start coming through the radio, she turns to you. “Okay, we’re on the way to our date spot now. Does that mean you’ll finally tell me where we’re going?”. You take your eyes off of the road to cast a quick glance at her. You smile, opening your mouth to reply as you see her lean a bit closer, eager for you to end the suspense. “Nice try,” you grin, looking back at the road. She groans, “Oh come onnn, please?”. You don’t look at her, knowing you couldn’t say no to her when she had that adorable, small pout on her face. You chuckle at how cute she’s being before replying, “You’ll see in about 30 minutes.”.
You spent the next half hour talking about everything and nothing, relaxing the longer you were driving. Because you’re with Nika. The first girl to approach you when you joined UConn, a smirk on her face as she started teasing you right away. The same girl who always fell asleep on your shoulder on bus rides, drooling a little. She was your best friend, so it was only natural you felt calm in her presence.
As you came to your destination, you looked over at Nika, who had yet to realize you had parked the car. You continue listening to her rambling, looking at the way she’s waving her hands around to emphasize her point. Feeling your staring, she looks over at you, her cheeks becoming a beautiful pink at the look of adoration in your eyes and the realization that she’s been babbling non-stop. She looks away a little embarrassed before whipping her head back to you, eyes wide as she beams at you. “The fair?”.
You smiled at her before getting out of the car, walking over to her side to open the door for her. You’d been wanting to go to the fair with her for ages and knew this was the perfect date idea. Nika had always been competitive and loved challenging people, so what better place to take her to than a fair full of games? While you knew a lot of the games were rigged to make people keep playing without gaining a lot, you had your own tricks up your sleeve. Being a nerd has its advantages.
You two enter the fair, looking around at the beautiful lights as you smell the sweet treats being made. You stroll around a bit at first, not touching but walking close enough to feel each other's body heat. Finally deciding to play some games, you walk up to all the different booths. There’s not a single moment where you’re not smiling. Grinning whenever the confident girl cockily told you she’d win a game and smirking whenever you won. You were teasing each other nonstop, and that’s exactly how you liked it. Loving to see the playful side of the shorter girl instead of the fierce side you usually saw on the court.
Nika stopped talking in the middle of her sentence, making you look at her in confusion. Seeing her with a wide smile on her face, you follow her line of sight to a booth with a basketball game. You look back at her with a smirk, noticing her sporting one of her own. “Oh, you’re going down L/N.” “In your dreams, Mühl.”
You two quickly walk over to the bored-looking worker, handing him some money, before turning to each other. “So… it’s finally time to see who’s the better basketball player,” you muse. “We already know who the better player is, Y/N; let me show you how it’s done,” she grins before turning towards the hoop, trying to get as many points as she can in the time she was given. You gotta admit, it was very attractive seeing her shoot hoop after hoop, not missing a beat. After the timer went off, she looked back at you with a smirk, patting your chest as she walked past you, “Good luck.”. You try to shake off the slight haze you’re in, feeling extremely attracted to how confident the girl is. You roll your shoulders back, cracking your neck. You nod towards the worker, who looks slightly more interested now that he saw that you two knew what you were doing, letting him know you were ready.
Swish. Swish. Swish.
You score point after point, feeling a little smug as you start reaching the end of the timer, knowing you could beat Nika by a few points if you kept this up. You slow down slightly. While you know the brunette will become almost unbearable if she wins, never letting you forget who the better player is, you realize that doesn’t sound so bad. Besides, you’d do anything to see the point guard smile.
The clock buzzes, showing that you have 1 point less than Nika. You turn around slowly, preparing yourself for the teasing. “Oooh yeah, take that, baby!” she cheers, throwing her arms in the air. You roll your eyes playfully and mutter, “Yeah, yeah, whatever,” but your pulse quickens hearing her call you baby.
After accepting your prizes, you continue to walk around the fair, stopping for food when you two get hungry. You stumble across a few claw machines, walking up to them when you see Nika eye the plushies inside. “You do realize those are super rigged, right?” she mumbles, peering over your shoulder as you crouch down slightly to insert money into the machine. You feel a blush creep up your neck as the brunette leans against you, her chin placed in the crook of your neck. “Oh yeah?” you mutter as you push the buttons, successfully grabbing a fluffy, little elephant teddy. You grin at her, pushing the soft bear in her arms.
Her cheeks reddening, she asks, “How the hell did you do that?”. You shrug slightly, “I’m a nerd, remember? I’ve got a few tricks up my sleeve.”. You continue wandering around, stopping every now and then for another game or to win Nika another prize. As you’re walking, your hand brushes the brunette’s before she grabs yours, interlacing your fingers. You look down at her with a loving smile as she starts softly swinging your intertwined hands between you two.
After a while, your arms are full of the teddy bears you’ve won for Nika, making her giggle every time she looks at you, given that she can barely see your face in the pile. “Okay, I think that’s enough stuff,” she snickers. While you’d love to keep impressing her, you agree, as your arms are becoming heavier. (Well… you were gonna agree). You halt in your step, seeing a plushie that you just had to have.
“Would it be very inappropriate if I won someone else a prize on our date?” you question, eyeing the teddy bear. “Depends,” she smirks. “Is it for your side hoe?”. You look at her with a mischievous look in your eyes, “Yeah… Paige is gonna love it.”. She snorts a little before replying, “I guess it’s fine then.” Nika didn’t know why you so desperately needed that specific stuffed animal, but she decided to roll with it. You see, the Croatian had her own reasons for agreeing to let you try to win it. The booth you were walking up to had mostly men around it, all trying to assert dominance and showing how manly they are. To win a prize, you had to hang onto a bar for 100 seconds. Of course, everyone knew the game was rigged, but many men still thought they could make the exception and win.
After paying the worker to play the game, you walk back to where Nika is standing a few feet away from the metal structure. You both watch a few men that were before you try and fail, hearing them huff about how it was unfair and how the workers had messed with the equipment. Once it’s your turn, you hand the girl next to you her prizes and your jacket before sending her a grin and a wink. As you step up to the platform, you hear a few guys laughing at how you, a girl, thought you could do it. They didn’t seem to care how tall and buff you looked, scoffing at your relaxed posture. You crack your knuckles, grabbing onto the bar before giving the booth operator the go-ahead to start the timer. As you hang your weight on the bar, you look over at your date. While you learned how these types of games worked years ago, you were still a tiny bit nervous. Failing wasn’t really an option. Not only would you prove to the arrogant men around you that you couldn’t do it, you’d also look like an idiot in front of Nika, and you really didn’t want that.
You try not to stress too much, trying to enjoy the way the brunette is looking at you. Her eyes linger on your arms as your muscles are flexed (Thank God you wore that tight shirt). You see her bite her lip before looking back in your eyes with a grin. Even though you’re hanging uncomfortably from a cold metal bar, you can only focus on the beautiful girl in front of you. As the time ticks by, a crowd starts forming around you. You see a few teen girls tapping their friends on the shoulder and pointing towards you in awe. The boys around you quieted down the longer you hung there, slowly beating all of their records. You can tell you’re not the only one that noticed, hearing the booth worker next to you chuckle while you see Nika shaking her head with a grin. You simply grin back, sending her a wink.
Buzzz
The buzzer goes off as the girls around you start cheering. You see a few men with their dates grinning at you with a nod of respect. The men that were so sure you’d lose the challenge start stomping away in annoyance as you let the bar go with one arm to fake a yawn. You put both arms back on the bar, pulling yourself up into a pull-up before letting go of the bar and crossing your arms in satisfaction. You don’t show that your arms feel like jello and like they’re about to fall off.
You turn to the fair worker as you hear a few girls fawn over you from in the crowd. As you tell the man the prize you want, he looks at you a little confused. “Are you sure that’s what you want?” he questions. “Yup,” you grin. Handing you the toy, he gives you a pat on the shoulder before getting the timer ready for the next challenger. You walk over to Nika, smiling so wide that your eyes crinkle. You hold the stuffed animal in front of her and wiggle it a little. A crocodile on a skateboard.
She doesn’t question why you just had to get Paige that plushie, so you figure last night’s mumbling from the blonde wasn’t the first time she talked about it. You check your watch, seeing as the sky is now fully dark. While Nika still looks very smiley and excited, you can tell she’s becoming a little tired, so you grab the prizes she was holding again and start walking to your final destination.
While the brunette beside you pretends she doesn’t really care about all the cliché romantic stuff, you know her well enough to know that she does. She’d been eyeing the big ferris wheel all evening when she thought you weren’t looking. You guide the way towards the queue as you see her face light up. “Really?” she asks, looking up at you, her eyes wide. You feel warmth spread through your chest at the adorable look she’s giving you. “What? You didn’t think we’d miss the ferris wheel, did you?” you say, playfully knocking your arm against hers.
As you’re waiting in line, you see her shiver a little. While you were always on the hotter side, you knew she got cold easily. That’s why you told her to bring something warm. You also knew she’d forget, which is why you brought your leather jacket, the one the shorter girl always jokes about stealing. You shrug off the jacket, wrapping it around her shoulders. You immediately see a blush spread across her face as she looks up at you with the widest smile you’ve ever seen. You return the gesture, your cheeks hurting from how much you’ve been smiling all day. You brush your hand against her cheek as you push a few strands of hair behind her ear. You take a mental picture of her, wanting to remember this moment forever. Red-cheeked, slightly drowning in your big jacket. The fact that this was only your first of hopefully many dates made your heart swell.
Once you reach the front of the line, you pay the operator the fee before setting down all the prizes somewhere the worker could keep an eye on them. You grab Nika’s hand, helping her get into the carriage, before sliding down next to her. You admire the beautiful view next to you as you go up. Sure, the whole fair area looked pretty around you, but who could pay attention to that when they had The Nika Mühl next to them? Once you reach the top, her eyes meet yours, sparkling from the charming lights and her own happiness. When the carriage comes to a halt, you grab her hand. She’s already grinning at you before you get the chance to say a word.
“Nika?” you say her name softly. “I-”. You don’t get to say much else before she interrupts you with a beaming smile, “Yes.”. You chuckle, “I haven’t even said anything yet.”. “Well hurry up, you dork,” she teases. You playfully roll your eyes at her before starting over. “Listen, I’ve liked you for a really long time now. When I first saw you, I felt my heart stop for a second. You are the most beautiful girl I’ve ever seen, and I knew back then that I was a goner. I started falling for you on day 1 and haven’t stopped since.”
Her smile softens, becoming less teasing and more gentle. You can tell the words are hitting her hard as she squeezes your hand. “You’re extremely funny, smart, caring, and fierce. I’ve never felt like this for anyone else before, and I hope I never do. You complete me in a way no one ever has before. Will you do me the honor of becoming my girlfriend?”
She doesn’t reply at first, choosing to let her actions speak for her instead. She surges forward, grabbing your face as she kisses you hard yet gently at the same time. After a few seconds, she pulls back, still staying close enough that you can hear her whisper over the shrieking from the people on other rides below you. “Yes, you idiot.”
You grin, leaning back in to kiss her as the ride jolts into motion again. When you step out of the ride, you grab your prizes, letting Nika also hold a few so you can sling an arm around her. Being happy with how everything went, you both agree to make your way back home. When you reach the car you put the pile of stuffed animals in the back, before opening the door for Nika. After putting on your seatbelt, you look over and see the brunette’s tired, yet happy expression and the tiny elephant plushie in her arms. You feel like your heart is overflowing with the love you have for her.
On the ride home, you guys don’t talk too much, letting the car fill with a comfortable silence. Reaching the campus, you walk her to her dorm with sleepy smiles on your faces. When you arrive at her door, you two pause for a moment, not wanting the day to end just yet. The smaller girl looks up at you, grabbing your face to pull you in for another kiss. You drop everything you’re holding, your hands gripping her waist. You kiss her, pushing her against the door. You feel her gasp against your mouth as you squeeze her hips. After a few seconds, you pull away, pressing your forehead against hers as you pant a little.
You reluctantly take a step back, Nika following you slightly before pulling back and opening her eyes. You raise your right hand towards her left, which is still holding your face. You grab it, pulling it towards your mouth as you give her palm a feathery kiss. She smiles, letting her arms fall back to her sides. You bend down to grab the toys you’d dropped as she unlocks her front door. Once the door is open, you hand them to her as you wiggle your eyebrows. She chuckles softly, shaking her head.
“Good night, princess,” you grin. “Good night, nerd,” she smiles back.

Next chapter I'm gonna keep a surprise, but it includes some familiar faces ;) It also might take me a wee bit longer to write, but I’ll try to get it out within the week. And a big thanks again to my beta reader @mythsretriever, check her out, she’s pretty cool. Also, I’ve been requested to start a tag list, so let me know if you want to be added! And finally, if you have any requests for fics or ideas for this one, or just want to chat, I’m all ears! (Please, I want more friends on this app). Men & minors dni
The apartment windows rattled against the heavy rain and rolling thunder raging outside. Lightning lit up the stormy evening sky, casting flashes of light into the apartment. You and Vi were hauled up because of this, but it didn’t matter much to you. You were happy to be home with the love of your life for a night off.
You were in the kitchen making dinner (it was your turn), Vi sat watching you from the kitchen island. You were making soup, one of your specialties, because Vi was feeling a bit under the weather, having been fighting a small cold for the past couple days (more than likely caused by the fact that she had just been naked in a lake on a chilly fall night with you a little less than a week ago). You felt slightly guilty, considering you were the one that had taken her to go skinny dipping, as well as the fact that you had not gotten sick at all. You resolved to make her soup; it was the least you could do.
Vi was still keeping the list close, although she had shared some of her ideas and asked you for some more recently. It was a good thing, too, because you had started to think she was instead just writing a novel.
You were adding the last of the spices to the pot of soup in front of you when Vi asked, “Have you ever made a blanket fort?”
Caught slightly off guard, but recovering quickly you answered, “I have…”
“I know it’s not a very teenager thing to do, but I’ve never made one and I added it to the list a while ago,” she said, eying you hesitantly.
“... so you want to make a blanket fort?” you asked, a small smile creeping onto your lips.
“Ya, and I thought maybe today, since the weath-”
“Sold!” You cut her off.
“Dinner first, of course,” Vi reassured.
You shot her a smile over your shoulder. “Of course.”
You ate at the kitchen table, the soup being accompanied by garlic bread. Vi practically moaned around her fist bite, which made your insides feel fuzzy. You talked about upcoming plans, errands you both needed to run, shows you wanted to watch together; just mundane, domestic things. When you both were done eating, Vi helped you clean up the kitchen, growing more and more antsy by the second. She was practically jumping off the walls by the time you finished wiping the counter down.
“Hmm,” you looked around the kitchen, tapping your chin with your finger, “I feel like I forgot to do something.” Of course, you had forgotten nothing, and instead were prolonging Vi’s anticipation for your own enjoyment. She caught on when you couldn’t keep your sly smile contained.
“You forgot nothing, it’s blanket fort time!” she practically screamed. She grabbed you by the arm, pulling you towards the living room, but eventually stopped, realizing she didn’t actually know what she was doing. She looked around, looking a little hopeless, then turned her eyes on you. “Okay, tell me what we need,” she prompted, her hands open in front of her, ready to grab the first thing you say.
“Well, we’re gonna need blankets, sheets probably, the kitchen chairs, pillows, maybe some books, and the broom, probably.” She stared at you blankly for a second, processing, then leapt into action. Vi ran in the direction of the linen closet, so you went over to the kitchen to collect the chairs.
You were arranging the chairs in front of the couch, two on each side facing away from the space in the middle, when Vi came back with more than an armful of blankets and sheets. It looked as though she had ransacked the entire apartment, taking blankets from anywhere including your bed. You giggled at her overzealousness, and moved quickly to help take some of the blankets she had gathered.
“Looks like you found every blanket and sheet we own,” you said, amused. “That's good, though. We’ll probably need them all.” You set them down in a pile in front of the area you had designated to be the floor of the fort, which was in front of the couch and directly in line with the TV. Vi surveyed the space, nodding, then looked towards you for the next step. “Okay, first we should cover these chairs with sheets to make our walls. And we might need something heavy like books to keep them in place,” you said. It had been quite some time since you built a blanket fort, but it was all starting to come back to you now.
Vi got right to it, pulling one of the sheets from the pile and draping it over each pair of chairs. You went over to the coffee table (which you had earlier pushed against the wall to make enough space for the fort) and grabbed the books that sat atop it. You put a book on each seat, which held the sheets in place and prevented them from slipping. It was all coming together nicely.
Catching on, Vi asked, “Should we put some blankets down on the floor to make it comfy?” you nodded, happy she was starting to get it. Arranging a sheet down first over top of the area rug, you then layed down two comforters and lined the makeshift walls with pillows, making sure the biggest and comfiest went against the foot of the couch. You both added some extra blankets to snuggle up with once you were settled in the fort later. And then it came time for the roof. Working together, you pulled sheets across the chairs, using multiple to make sure there were no gaps and to ensure the fort was dark inside. Adding some finishing touches, like some electric candles and a small camping lantern, as well as a couple more pillows and blankets, the fort was complete. It wasn’t by any means the best blanket fort ever made, but it got the job done, and by the grin on Vi’s face, you'd say it was basically perfect.
“Ready to get in?” you asked Vi, who didn’t even give you an answer before launching herself into the fort. You couldn’t contain your giggle as you followed her in, albeit more calmly. It was a tight fit, but curling yourself up around Vi created some wiggle room. Vi threw a couple blankets across your tangled legs and settled into the pillows, pulling you closer by the waist.
The top of the sheet roof plus the angle you were positioned made for a perfect view of the TV, which was exactly what you had hoped for.
“Want to watch a movie?” you both asked simultaneously, which then made you laugh. So predictable.
“I chose last time, so it’s your turn,” Vi offered.
You thought for a second. “Pride and Prejudice (2005),” you said. Vi had already thumbed through and pulled it up on the screen.
“So predictable,” she whispered, shaking her head as a crooked smile appeared.
You gave her a playful shove in the side. “You know I like the classics. And anyway, Mr. Darcy reminds me of you.”
She scoffed. “How so?”
“Well, he’s proud, loyal, charming in a goofy way, and I find him rather pretty, especially when he smiles. And you share all of those traits,” you said. “But I will say your hands are much hotter than his.”
Vi attempted to play off your words, but a small blush crept across her cheeks. “Alright, let’s just start the movie,” she said, nodding towards the TV.
You kissed Vi’s shoulder, smiling up at her. “This was a great idea.” you said, and then proceeded to sneeze.
“Oh no, I gave you my sickness, didn’t I?” Vi looked at you apologetically. You just shook your head, snuggling back into her and turning your attention to the movie. It didn’t matter to you if Vi got you sick. You’d happily get her germs if it meant getting to also snuggle up with her to watch a movie while it stormed outside.
Eventually, though, and rather predictably, the combination of the movie, the storm, Vi’s warm body beneath you, and the comfort of the fort all lulled you into sleep. It looked like you’d be sleeping in the living room tonight. And there was nowhere you’d rather be.
Ko-fi

I've referenced before how I have a big google document to keep track of every media I've ever seen in my entire life (just for reference because I like to track everything possible lol… I am the Data Collector), but recently as I was updating it, I thought of actually evaluating them to find out random percentages (like for example, out of Total Shows Watched, what percentage did I finish vs. stop watching, what percentage did I like or dislike, etc.)...
Evaluating these things is made easier by the fact that I already place everything on each subsection of the list into 6 broad ranking categories, so I don't have to go back and guess to figure out how I feel about them or anything. The categories are: Ranking 5 - overall best* (despite some criticisms of course because I'm too much of an Analyzer to ever find anything Perfect lol) Ranking 4 - more positive than neutral, but not good enough to be 5 Ranking 3 - either the good + bad negate each other, OR it's just not memorable/interesting in any way enough to be ranked higher or lower (this is the Default category ALL things are placed in if no other rank applies) Ranking 2 - maybe a few redeemable elements but largely more negatives than positives Ranking 1 - So bad that it circles around to being fascinating to observe in some way (not necessarily Funny, or Good, but just interesting somehow) Ranking 0 - Bad in a genuinely frustrating or obnoxious manner
*("best" primarily defined here as most interesting, rather than most good in a technical sense, or some other measure. I tend to value more highly whether there's something novel or thoughtful about the worldbuilding, tone, writing, base premise, etc - than about whether it's actually executed perfectly.)
And here's the amount of shows that have so far been placed into each category -
TV shows ~ Rank 5 (highest) - 20 shows ~ Rank 4 (mid-high) - 28 shows ~ Rank 3 (neutral/default/meh) - 114 shows ~ Rank 2 (mid low) -33 shows ~ Rank 1 (low low but intriguingly so) - 14 shows ~ Rank 0 (iredeemably low) - 2 shows
This would make for a total of 211 TV shows overall. However, there are 57 shows within these list marked as "didn't finish" (typically meaning I quit on the very first or second episode - but log them still to keep a record that I at least had a brief view of them).
So my total of genuinely fully watched shows would be more 154. 211 Total, but a More Accurate Total of 154.
Counting them all and using the Total Number Of The List (211) -- that means roughly 9.5% of all total shows I have ever watched (or at least attempted to watch) have been Mostly Good, 13% have been Moderately Okay, 54% have been either entirely Forgettable or some mix of good + bad that lands them right in the Neutral Middle, 15.6% have been Mostly Bad, 6.6% have been Bad (but in an interesting way), and 0.9% have been Terribly Bad.
Additionally, I didn't even get past the first two episodes of about 27% of the total.
Sooo, discounting ones I didn't finish, my total TV shows ever watched in my life would be about 154 (maybe give or take a few, assuming I might have forgotten some from very long ago).
But instead of entire life, let's just say this is the total for 'About 20 Years' (so, not counting very early childhood when I likely wouldn't remember things I saw/have no detailed recollection of them (like for example, I'm sure at some point when I was like 4yrs old I must have seen an episode of Spongebob or something, but I have zero distinct memories of it, can't quote anything of it, and barely recall the premise - so I don't count it on the list, etc.)).
In that case, 154 divided by 20 would be roughly 7.7 shows a year.
Which is actually surprisingly low considering that I often have stuff on in the background for hours whilst I make sculptures and do costumes and stuff (maybe I should have also marked some distinction between 'things I fully paid attention to' and 'things I kind of half listened to whilst sculpting', but that would further split the categories too much probably lol), but I guess a lot of that is youtube videos or random documentaries, so .. eh.. maybe I get it being lower.
Now, doing the same thing for movies-
Movies ~ Rank 5 (highest) - 4 movies (3.4% of total) ~ Rank 4 (mid-high) - 12 movies (10.3% of total) ~ Rank 3 (neutral/default/meh) - 91 movies (78.4% of total) ~ Rank 2 (mid low) - 8 movies (6.8% of total) ~ Rank 1 (low but interesting) - 1 movie (0.8% of total) ~ Rank 0 (irredeemably low) - none in this category (0%)
That makes 116 for a Total (Actually Remembered) Movies Watched In Lifetime (Or At Least In 20 Years).
116 divided by 20 is roughly 5 or 6 movies a year (I feel this has probably been skewed though by adding everything since like elementary school onwards, as I remember a lot more movies from child/teen years.. Whereas, the past 3 years I feel like I've barely seen maybe even 5 movies?? lol). I also have "Didn't Finish" marked on 18 of them. Which means I quit halfway through about 15% of the total movies.
So, a for broader summary stuff..
I seem to be less forgiving to movies than tv shows, by far. Which makes sense to me, I guess, because I love elaboration and details, so "short form" things that only last an hour or two are often lost on me a bit. My biggest complaint with movies is indeed usually walking away just wishing there had been more exposition, more scenes where characters are doing nothing, more "mindless bantering" conversations, more Quiet Downtime and Lore Elaboration and so on lol, so... of course most 1-2hr films end up feeling a bit Not Enough To Draw My Interest/Nothingy to me.
If you count 5 and 4 as "like" and rankings 2 to 0 as "dislike", then for TV shows I at least somewhat liked 48 of them, and at least somewhat disliked 47 of them.. So it's almost exactly the same lol. I'm just about equally as likely to find something bad as I am to find something redeeming about it. But overall, the largest chance is that I just won't really care much for it at all and it will be tossed into the 'neutral' pile, forgotten forever. Movies have a bit better of a balance, "liking" 16 of them, and "disliking" only 9 of them. So I'm slightly more likely to enjoy a movie than to find it annoying - though still VASTLY more likely to just not find it anything in particular, possibly not even finishing it.
ANYWAY.. this is vague and literally pointless, but like I said, I just really find information fun. Like my document where I've rated every apple flavor I've ever tried (like 40 of them now?), or reviewed every oreo flavor (32?), or ranking data from my entire 10 years of Trying To Make Friends process (out of 100 people, roughly 8% chance of a moderate compatibility, 3% chance of high), or etc. etc.. I love to have random pointless things to analyze I suppose lol.
I doubt anyone tracks things in their life in this same exact way, but I'd be interested in hearing any at least somewhat similar data !!! (like, how many TV shows you watch a year on average, and what percentage of those you like vs. dislike (if you keep track of that sort of thing), etc.)). I guess it might be easier with movies, since I think some people use those websites where you curate a list of movies you've seen and you can rate them or something, so maybe the numbers are already available on those places. :0
#maybe this is my version of spotify wrapped lol.. Lifetime Media Google Doc Wrapped.. kind of.. except I'm not going over specific titles.#I can't do this with music since I rarely EVER look for new music or add to my Youtube To MP3 folder library as I just don't really#listen to music that often. When I'm working (the majority of when I seek background noise) I need like.. people's talking voices#for some reason. Just instruments and singing are not distracting enough to me to work as background noise because theyre#almost TOO in the background if that makes sense? like if I put music on then I just tune it out and it's virtually no different#than if I were daydreaming stream of consciousness thoughts in an entirely quiet room lol. And I can't really do it with books since#essentially 100% of what I read is non-fiction. usually about some specific subject or academic topic OR stuff like#1800s magazines or cookbooks or historical people's diaries. Which is not really.. the type of thing I would#rank as easily I guess? like 'ooh yeah putting the sociology textbook in my top 5 hee hee right next to the 1920s radio recipes book' lol.#Then for games... I just sadly dont play enough of them. I've been banned from new games as I've told myself I cant play anyting#long form (no rpgs or etc) until I actually finish MY OWN game first - to keep me from wasting time. so on average#I play... 0 new games a year. ToT... I do play the sims sometimes but that's really all (which is not a new game at all since#I've been playing it on and off for years). Thus I guess movies/TV are really the only things that make sense#to collect this sort of information on. I could do youtube videos I guess also but that seems kind of strange like...#giving a rating to every single video I watch in a ranked list lol.. Especially since I would say a good 85% of the time#they are exclusively background noise whilst I'm working on something or cleaning the house or etc. and not things I pay serious attention#to. There are only a few specific topics/types/creators of videos I watch where I'm ACTUALLY sitting in front of a screen paying#direct attention to the content (usually when it's educational or political things). Everything else is too mindless to even rank.#ANYWAY... ever analyzing my little hermit Weird Relationship To Media (in the sense of seemingly not processing or getting the same#things out of it as many other seem to). I think that can contribute sometimes to the whole difficulty socializing and stuff#since our culture is very centered around media consumption generally speaking. People want to talk about The New Movie that came#out or The Big TV Show Of The Year. and for me it's like.. highly likely I just plain have NOT seen it. Or if i have. statistically#I most likely was entirely ambivalent if not slightly negative towards it lol. Which just kind of takes the steam out of a 'fun' 'casual'#conversation and you seem like a bit of a bummer if most of your only feedback is either 'idk what that is' or 'oh yea... i did#see that one.... i didnt like it all that much though... I think it'd be better with elves in it.. and 7 hours longer..'' lol..#Which I am not disliking things in a 'grr i hate it bc its popular'/just to be contrarian way. I actually dislike that mindset/find it#silly (by striving so hard to be counterculture you are thus still defining yourself by the whims of external culture - just in the#opposite direction. but are still just as preoccupied with the mainstream (going against it) as everyone else. etc. lol..)) In my#case I think it IS just having niche hyperspecific tastes.. for example- it peeves me when cell phones are in media bc I dont want to be#reminded at ALL of the real world. so.. cross off anything set in modern times. so on & etc. Judging all things by these weird criteria lol

I do love that I'm both freezing and having the worst back pains.
But at least I still have a roof above my head, right?
#personal#so here's the thing:#i don't think any of the radiators in my apartment are currently working#which kind of sucks bc it's winter in northern europe lmao#one of them had blown a fuse. which i changed yesterday. and now it's cold again. so there's definitely something wrong with it#two of them. which are located in my bedroom/living room combination. have red lights on#but they are both cold and not heating up my apartment. which means i'm freezing here#so it could be a thermostat or something. i don't know#but because my place was a mess. after having worked for a few months and not having energy to do anything else#i had to clean up here yesterday. because i couldn't call my landlord who lives closeby in case he decided to drop in and see#the mess i was living in. to you know. check on those radiators#so anyway. my apartment is pretty okay now. stuff i still need to clean though but it's mostly minor#but i seem to have strained my lower back doing it. or from sleeping in an awkward position because i was cold#the kind of pain i haven't experienced in months which must be a record for me now#but yeah now my lower back hurts. i can't properly crouch or even twist my body to the side without my knees trying to give out#and i've already taken painkillers for it today. which kind of put me to sleep again and had a lovely little nap a while ago#but this is bothersome#i hope my back feels better by tomorrow so i can finish my cleaning and then message my landlord#because i don't want to freeze here anymore xD and i also don't want my houseplants dying because of it so

okay I severely misjudged spaghetti guy he’s actually just really cool
#okay so I came to this flat and he wasn’t here. greeted by a very dirty flat with shit all over the kitchen counters over cling film#I meet first my other flatmate who told me he stays in his room constantly bc of previous bad flatmates#has literally just a saucepan and some salt in the kitchen. so I’m like okay spaghetti guy potentially not great but could just be#how this guy is yknow#on Tuesday I get an email back saying he’s coming back from Norway tonight looking forward to seeing you feel free to use the kitchen sauces#rlly friendly message that I wasn’t expecting. I also didn’t know he’d been on a trip i just knew he wasn’t there bc his door was open#(to a REALLY nice room. multiple rlly nice plants (which he has little care labels for!!!) and it’s tidy and pretty#and he’s got a sheep teddy on the bed)#meanwhile I am in my own head bc I don’t wanna cook in the kitchen until I can clean it and I can’t clean it without moving his shit and#I haven’t seen him yet to talk abt it and I can’t bring myself to talk to him immediately bc I’m dying#and embarrassed as hell by how I’ve been cooking in my room with a microwave and air fryer (loud) and sneaking my shit out of the kitchen#but then yesterday I DO talk to him!! and he’s super friendly!! actually interested in having a conversation and Good at it.#and then he’s cooking and like. spaghetti burns but I’m not there for long and seems to be a mistake (he made the same thing for lunch today#and did Not burn the spaghetti) and is otherwise clearly competent bc the food smells Good and despite leaving a few things out it’s like#washed up stuff isn’t dirty and the sides are better despite still under cling film. more a case that he’s spread out than he’s messy#and now today we talked and i offered to hold onto some shit over summer bc complicated situation that boils down to he’s flying back home#and he cant take all his stuff and had to choose between chucking stuff/having literally nothing this weekend. like sleeping on the sofa etc#and then cleans the whole flat?? which I’m assuming a good chunk is his mess? but he did not need to do that. could’ve easily left#bc there are two people still living here who would’ve had to deal with it and he doesn’t know either at all#and THEN tonight we talk abt food which is fun bc we both ordered stuff. and he offers me some honeydew melon bc he’s been gorging himself#these past two days to finish it before it goes bad/he leaves which is also really sweet#and JUST NOW. I take my headphones out after finishing dinner and hear the sweetest fucking guitar#he plays the gentlest like dreamy sounding acoustic guitar I’ve heard in my life in his room (door closed by the time I leave)#this is actually just a really cool dude#now that the kitchens clear I’m gonna cook tomorrow and will probably offer him some bc otherwise he’s gonna be eating out all weekend#he has extra takeout for tomorrow night but might want smth Sunday#regardless I am just. huh??? left a bit stunned bc of the u turn my opinion of this guy has taken. bc my opinion of him was a reflection#of my discomfort moving to this weird dirty basement flat with two people I didn’t know#well. idk where to go from here. I think I’ll start by talking to him more this weekend. bc holy fucking shit.#luke.txt

ive been a little upset about it all night so i need to write out all the things that happened at work today and are bugging me so i can TRY to get it out of my head and actually RELAX bc i just keep pacing in circles around it instead of just accepting it and moving on
#for context i was working frying chicken today. ok so i arrive and literally all the chicken out expires within ten minutes of each other#meanwhile to remake everything takes about an hour 20#tried my best to get everything out and replaced and make sure i have enough of everything and then take my break bc with chicken there are#few narrow windows to take your break in you have very little control over when it is#get back and while im getting ready for my next fry one of the assistant leaders comes back and passive aggressively asks 'everything ok?'#and when i say yeah shes starts saying how shes 'just checking' because apparently i didnt have enough chicken out for her liking and went#on about how we're in a chicken drive (I KNOW. I WORK CHICKEN SHE NEVER HAS.)#etc etc. i just say ok and she leaves#like 20 minutes later she comes fucking back to rag on me again about how i need to choose my break times better and i need to have more#chicken out there as back up (extremely difficult bc there is literally only so much room in the fryers. the batches i usually make already#nearly completely fill them up) blah blah and then when i try to explain how i WAS making pretty big batches people are just snatching them#up fast she keeps trying to walk out the door right away and keeps stopping and looking over her shoulder to just stare at me while i try t#finish my sentence#and she just. doesnt say anything in response when i do finish she just leaves#so clearly she didnt want a conversation she just wanted to rag on me#then later for cleanup the timing of everything just kept lining up inconveniently so i kept having to get in and out of raw cleaning gear#and slowing myself down and i end up having to stay almost 15 minutes late to finish cleaning#during cleaning i have to go grab a key to the back door to take out my trash and this one coworker i have was standing in the way of the#door. i say excuse me and she just stares at me and goes huh?#and i say i need a key and she barely moves out of the way without responding and she has a look like im bothering her#why are you acting like im being douchey. i just need a key. thats something she does a lot she acts like im inconveniencing her by asking#basic favors . ive stopped asking her to help me open the back door (sometimes needed if i also have raw garbage to take out and therefore#cant touch the key myself) for some reason she takes it upon herself to almost completely close the door after i walk out so when i come#back i have to awkwardly use my foot to reach around and pull the door open#ive asked her before not to do it and she just ignored me#GRAH GRAH. and then like i said in my last rb i realized while i was drivign home i forgot to wash a damn pan#im mostly worried about it because ive forgotten a couple times in the past too . in my defense its a pan i personally dont use but it just#gets left behind from first shift sometimes and then second shifters end up having to make sure its clean#im just irritateddd and im mad im worried about it all. its all little things piling up on each other#LOL I WROTE A LOT MORE BUT THE REST GOT CUT OUT IG I HIT A TAG LIMIT. tumblr voice ok dude quit your bitching !!

TOMORROW PLAN:
get up around 12-1pm (doable)
eat the leftover tacos (doable but they taste awful :/ )
go to a location - i guess ill ask my dad to drive me to a cafe or something and give me like $10 to get a meal?
work on lining that one commission (this will take several days)
come home around 11pm (doable)
work on some other thing because taking that long to work will definitely hurt my hands
get to bed around 2am
repeat
#red rambles#i need to get out of the house to get my work done. ive learned this. also frankly i just dont want to be here#forgot how frustrating it is to spend time around my dad when he doesn't feel like i'm doing 'enough' with my time#doesnt matter that im doing everything at once - getting the charms thing started and my learner's permit renewed and commissions and just#finished finals - its never enough because i dont look like im physically idk hauling ass or whatever#so every time he walks into a room i'm in and he's in a bad mood it's this and that and am i doing x and y and z and also school this and#that and when am i gonna get a job and i should clean the house and#anyway im sick of it already and ive been home a week.

How it started:
How it’s going:
#star speaks#the space above my bed is empty to make room for my art#Insha’Allah#stupid of me to do this the night before I go back to work I know but#felt like I should#I still have a monet print to put up and the rest of the natural history postcards#I accidentally squished the whale skeleton one sadly but I guess it looks more aged now?#wrinkled a bit#fits the aesthetic?#need batteries for the shell lights also#I’m disappointed I couldn’t finish it all tonight I really wanted a cosy haven to come home to after work#that was the motivation behind it anyway#but I’ve got to finish sorting out the rest of the postcards from Natural History Museum#and the monet painting#and I need to clean out my cloud rain lamp so I can turn it on again#*sighs* at least I made a start?#I feel confused as to whether it was a good exchange doing this instead of painting and watching Dr Slump#but I’m *waves hands* messy right now and I’m struggling to have a handle on things#maybe sleep will help the organising did sort of keep my mind busy
