i'm giving lupin an aurora optima - it comes in a lotta colours (there's even a limited edition pink one) and is classy/high quality/italian made/etc. feel like that'd suit his aesthetics.

bonus i'm also giving him monteverde colour changing inks so he can play silly lil tricks >:)

jigen gets this Kaweco sport piston filler - it's sleek and stylish and solid metal and the little clear ink viewing segment sorta puts me in mind of his usual outfit colour palettes.

im assigning goemon a calligraphy brush. its just what he is thats that

fujiko gets the bungubox princess kaguya fountain pen - it is pretty and feminine and expensive, soooo fujikocore

zenigata i feel would have/be something so so practical. pilot metropolitan, or some other good japanese pen brand, i think. plus they come in a lot of colours so i bet he accidentally matches lupin sometimes just on instinct.

Izuku sees shouta go to put his hair up in a half-bun and stops him with a tentative "Could I braid your hair?"

Shouta has a thick personal space bubble and doesnt like to let people touch his hair (Hizashi being an exception). He thinks over the request, reminding himself that this is Mido and he already trusts him, he should give them both the chance to try something new. So he agrees, shifting to sit in front of Izuku.

Izuku is both relieved (at not being rejected) and excited to try out the skill he's learned on the exact person he learned it for.

He carefully and gently runs his fingers through KitKat's hair (which surely must be even longer now than when he originally asked) and pulls apart a few tangles while he decides on a braid style. Then he starts.

They dont make much conversation, and Shouta finds himself settling into the quiet atmosphere and the steady skilled hands gently tugging on his hair. Izuku focuses - the complicated beautiful braids he would do are impossible with the revelation that KitKat is only carrying the one hair tie, but he can adjust and still make something worthy of his best friend.

He makes a small braid on each side of KitKat's face, then sets those aside to weave section over section into a comfortably loose french braid down his friend's head, incorporating the smaller braids near the middle, and tying it all off at the end.

Shouta has Izuku take a picture, and then when the boy leans in to show him, he takes the opportunity to flip the camera and get a casual selfie of them both before looking at the braid.

It's comfortable and quite lovely actually, so Shouta thanks and compliments Mido (who blushes bright red but pleased) before they say their goodnights and separate.

Hizashi adores the braid (and is equally jealous that he didnt get a braid), and Shouta is happy with how the while event played out.

Turns out that Mido still manages to match 'Zashi in terms of how easily Shouta trusts them with himself - not that he's truly surprised.

While Hizashi texts Mido to request a braid of his own, Shouta revels in new feeling of his hair and smiles.
