"do you always make this many assumptions about the strangers you meet in the bar?" dodie asked with a laugh, finishing off her beer. it wasn't like they were complete strangers, they had done this every night for three nights now, a drink or two at the hotel bar and then head their separate ways. of course, dodie was always good at dodging personal questions, opting to discuss her job most of the time.

it was impossible to explain to people why she had left her family, taken the money and ran away to do something else with her life, so she chose not to talk about it. it had nothing to do with the ache in her chest from leaving her sister behind. nothing to do with the guilt of disappearing on her father with only a quick text to tell him that she was safe and never coming back.

Grian and Pearl - those two cousins who, somehow, in every reunion, they climb on top of the highest cabinet/shelf and will pull you up there with them

Cleo - that one aunt who will threaten to break your kneecaps, but in reality, will break the ones of those who hurt you

Joe - will help the kids put on plays and will tell them the best of stories while feeding the kiddos a ton of cookies behind Cleo's back (LOL)

Joel - that one cousin that you can poke with a stick and he'll flop to the ground but will do the most daring stunts -- well, besides Grian; he also claims to be married to the girl who is his neighbor: Lizzie

Keralis - everyone calls him Papa K because he will hog all the kids, call them sweetface, kiss and hug them, and feed them only homemade meals (now I need Papa K to babysit me and I don't need a babysitter XD)

Scar - that one cousin that you only see at reunions, and you don't know why, but Scar probably did something

False - your younger cousin how no loves to play fight, let it be wooden swords or wrestling, she will do it (in a playful way)

Ren - your younger cousin who is best friends with False, calling her "Falsie" and playing with her; is one for the dramatics

Mumbo - that one cousin who would rather be reading a book about redstone, but loves playing with Grian and Scar; quiet and shy

Doc - your uncle that is super smart and could probably help you build a bomb, but is super sweet, loves taking care of Ren, and loves playing with the kiddos

- bdubs is the loudest about it. and the most “?!?!?!!!” because gestures mycelium resistance. the sexual tension between those two made him want to gag. he’s shaking scar around “you’ve been married for how long and didn’t tell me???? how could you not tell me?!” but like in that silly way y’know. he’s not actually upset about it

- I’m going back and forth on if mumbo has known the entire time or if he finds out when everyone else does. it would make sense if he knows, because he knew grian pre-hermitcraft. but it’d also be extremely funny if he didn’t know

- pearl gives grian the talk of his life because he didn’t tell her. and there was no invitation to the wedding. and then she also gives scar a shovel talk. because y’know. older sister rights and grian has been hurt enough

- I like the idea of impulse trying to sit the two of them down to shovel talk but he’s just so happy for them that he tries and fails

- cub and cleo are not at all surprised by this news. in fact, they had a feeling scar and grian were already together (though the marriage thing wasn’t what they expected)

those are the only ones coming to mind rn. as for if I’m planning on writing anything… I think I’d like to. god knows the scarian tag could use more fluff. but to be like 100% honest with you, I am. in a very bad mental state and writing feels extremely hard right now. so I think I’ll just be spinning ideas around without pressuring myself to write. if it happens naturally on its own, wonderful

(she did in-fact cry, he knew she would love it and the fact that he was getting tired of the towns people coming to his(brothers) home so he got her something in town, she does work at the shack sometimes as Mrs. Mystery.

soulanna was born in detroit, MI but moved to Las Vegas when she was 13 with her mother corrina sonja johnson, an African-American woman from Chicago, Illinois and her father, kurtis Lamar johnson an African-American man from detroit,MI. her mother was a outstanding teacher and her father was a maifa man and a great gambler (hence why they moved to vegas) she also has three siblings one older sister one younger brother and another younger sister so she is the middle child. anyway her fav colors are green, and pastel pink, she is heavily inspired fashion wise by artist like Cleo soul, Britney Spears , the spice girls , donna summer and more. two songs to describe her would be

Soulanna met Stanley when she was 23 at a party and after some dates they started dating, she never really knew his living situation but she knew of his past as he came undone one night in her apartment after a few months they had been dating (he says that’s when he knew she turned him “into a sap”) about a year into the relationship, she got pregnant, they became homeless and living in a car on the run all in 2 months. they decided to have a shotgun wedding before leaving Las Vegas, they chose to leave the baby (a girl) in front of a children’s home with a locket to remember them by.

Anyway- once the stuff with ford happened and they get settled she decided that she didn't want to just work in the shack with stan (which they had a argument about bc he’s protective of her and doesn’t know the town well enough to want her to work or go anywhere else) but he realizes that he was in the wrong (and she had to cuss his ass out), they did get their baby back (because they couldn’t bare the fact they had to give her up) when she was 7 years old her name is ma’niayh alora pines and in present time (2012) she is in her late 30s/early 40s? and lives in a town over

Does daemon blackfyre sound like the kinda guy to say bro?

Well, “bro” isn’t used at all in the series, so literally he wouldn’t. As for the figurative “informal title” that “bro” can signify, I headcanon Daemon of basically doing the opposite: Daemon was raised in King’s Landing among nobles (where there’s more pressure to “speak properly”) and had the class structure drilled into his head (he’s below “trueborn” Tàrgaryens on the social ladder). I think he would always use someone’s title if they were higher on the social ladder than him (lords, princes) or if he didn’t know them very well. He’d never ever refer to Dæron II and his descendants by anything familiar, because as stated Dæron wanted everyone to know that he was of higher status than Daemon, and Dæron’s sons wouldn’t reach out to try a familiar relationship. Granted, I assume he had a warmer relationship with Aegor and Brynden Rivers, and wouldn’t call them Bloodraven or Bittersteel (which are pejoratives, and we know Aegor at least didn’t like the epithet), but probably just by their first names. I also imagine that he had unique nicknames for some close ones (wife, children, foster siblings), but nothing generic like “bro” (instead sort of like how Rodrik Harlaw calls his older sister Alannys “Lanny”), and probably wouldn’t use them in public. But for me he’s more like Sansa with titles, and would avoid harmful nicknames or terminology (not using Bittersteel and Bloodraven to refer to Aegor and Brynden, calling Black Byren Flowers “Ser Byren” or “Byren the Bard” to not bring up his illegitimate name), and retreat into formality if he’s feeling insulted by someone of higher status (Ex: the type to call his wife “my lady of Tyrosh” if he’s upset with her).

Aegor is more the type to call his cousins (presumably Otho and his brothers) “coz”, which is a term used several times (by Jaime to his cousins Cleos, Lancel, and Daven; by Andrew Estermont to his young cousin Edric Storm; by Dick Straw about Myrakis’ cousin), considering he wasn’t raised in a place that emphasized formal speaking and he was raised by the Brackens, so there’d be more familiarity than with the Tàrgaryens of any status.

Pearl basic doesn't remember him, like, she knows she has a brother somewhere, but yk. Yeah so, Master dies, obviously 🙄, cause you know order 66, still debating who that should be... Uhhhhh Maybe Impulse? Yes you're dying boi. Be sad. Someone has to. So yeah, she escapes, and then I'm going to presume she's going in hiding... With another surviving Padawan... Maybe Gem, yeah. While Pearl is "busy" turning to the Darkside and Just not having s good time, Gem joins the rebels, not revealing her past, he's lightsaber was broken during her qnd Pearl's escape after all. She does still have her Kyber cristal (green..? They focus more on defending to my knowledge, plus healing? Something like that) Pearl's used to be blue.

So yeah, Gem joins the rebels, where she does missions here and there and meets people like Tango.

Tango -> Pilot, and one of the leaders of a small squad that usually does ambushes to the Empire. (This is due to how fucking mental this guy was with EVERYTHING last season, he deserves to have a leading and planning spot)

Etho is a spy for the rebels. No questions asked. He is. Why? Don't exactly know...? He gives me spy vibes. Mf works for the Empire but is a double agent.

Joel and Lizzie have a bar where they try to keep it neutral, they don't enjoy the empire but don't want to risk loosing what they have to actively fight. They do hide rebels from time to time and share some rations. They know Tango, since he's the one who usually contacts them and also hid there a couple of times. They also know Etho since he goes there whenever he's dispatched to the planet.

Yes. The "Etho stop being obsessed with me" joke lives on.

Now... Owen. You sir. Terrify me. You're very scary as a villain but very adorable as a hero which you know what that means.

Rae -> in this universe Enderian is out of the picture, like not even mentioned, sorry girly.

Rae is the child of Isla, who was the queen of whatever because again, this is just me writing down dumb ideas. So, Rae and Icarus were sent away when he was little by Isla, who wanted to keep him away from the empire's arms due to his connection to the force.

Icarus -> older sibling to Rae, has no connection to the force, (no Quixis, you're not doing shit this time >:(), when them and Rae were sent away, they didn't understand why fully. As he got older they resented Rae because they felt like if Rae didn't have a connection to the force then they'd be able to be a family. But that resentment soon moved to the force itself, the stores about the Jedis, the sith, all that chaos. They don't know exactly how to help Rae, all they can do is try to protect him from the empire. (I'm giving Rae and Icarus a good-ish relationship ok? We all need that)

Momboo and Ocie -> are sisters, both use the force and both were trained by the Jedis, needless to say they are not like 20 yo, I think imma make them around 35/40..? (Safe to say Icarus and Momboo won't have a relationship.No.)

They both survived order 66 but got separated.

Now for the angsty part.

Momboo during her travels tried to find and protect kids gifted with the force. She would then proceed to die, leaving Jamie and Uhh fuck I don't remember their name, well, her other kid ok? With one message, to find Ocie, she could help them.

Ocie did not have as much maternal instincts as her sister, but, she picked along a small child, Oscar, a child made orphan by the empire. I'm figuring out the species still. She would settle down, she thought she was away from everything, that she could heal. Then Momboos kids came, and boom, training arc for those little shits. (/Sarcastic /not mean /please I'm not serious)

Centross -> now, I know in FableSMP he's not on Fable's side but Enderian's, the problem with that is that I think that the only thing that fits Enderian is a Dathomir's witch. And I don't exactly know how that could work. Like sure, let's make her a sith, but she's supposed to be like on Fable's power level, and she's definitely not a Jedi. So. For Centross, he could 100% be an inquisitor. 100% not even questioning it. This is based upon when he was violet reaper, yes yes, I am aware he was not on Fable's side, but I believe Fable is more fit as Palpatine than Enderian, sorry girlboss. Also sorry Centross, you're not getting a redemption arc.

Hey! I uploaded a ton of lots to the gallery today (id: gladlypants) Some were recent builds I was doing while I was waiting for GT, some I just furnished today, some I built last summer before HSY released and forgot about, and then vault Cleo’s grandparents’ house. I had a lot of fun practicing building over the last few weeks!  :) 

It’ll take me a bit to get all of these tray files up, will have to go back and take interior screenshots and all that. There are names of each and short descriptions under the cut, numbered like the screenshots, cuz I just felt like talking about em, and gallery images suck. I’ve playtested most of these at some point, except Charles E. Cheese’s, the shells, and the Batchelder house.

Lmk if you want any of these now for your new pack gameplay and I’ll shoot you a temporary dl.

1. Charles E. Cheese’s - Heavily branded for the feline version of Chuck, Charles! It’s a restaurant and I haven’t playtested it, sorryyyy, but I don’t foresee any issues. There’s a pizza vendor kiosk inside too if you want to change the lot type or have typical Dine Out problems. Intended as a kind of party space for kids. The upstairs feels a little chaotic to me but maybe not idk. ♥

2. Raymond’s Noodles - A little local noodle restaurant I built for a sim named Raymond I was playing in a recent rotation save. It’s small and cute. ♥

3. The Schneider House - a big ol’ traditional style Windenburg house. I was also playing a household on this lot, and I really loved it!

4. Batchelder Craftsman - I love the style of this house. Named for Batchelder tiles, which I am pretending this one has throughout! (reference)

5. Gray 2 Story Craftsman - The household I played the most in my rotation lived in this house and I love the layout, so it’s probably my favorite of the Craftsman shells I built, even if it is a little plain looking on the outside. It has an awesome, huge main bedroom suite! 

6. Green Family Craftsman - f*ck those rooves. This one has a a sunroom and a bedroom for grandparents/stay-overs. (reference)

7. Blue Craftsman - Built this one like a house my sister-in-law lived in here for a long time, it’s a common style and layout in older neighborhoods where I live.

8. Black Victorian Shell - It’s supposed to a small detached row house. I built it with the idea of using it for renting to roommates but you can use it however you like obviously.

9. Cleo’s Grandparents’ House - a desert mcm! Still has the camper in the yard that Cleo + Devon lived in before they got locked in the vault.

10. Single Mom House - I built this for one of my gallery households, who is a single mother and teenage daughter. It’s a little shabby, with some craftsman features and some Hispanic decor for them.

11. The LaFollette House - also built for one of my gallery families, a single military dad and his two daughters. I intended this one to be the same as the Single Mom house, but remodeled to be more modern and spacious.

12. The Gilbert House - for a gallery household, it’s a little retro inside!

13. Split Level Family Home - also for a gallery household, this one has very feminine style decor, except for one of the bedrooms for a teen, and a huge unfinished basement (just walls.) 

^^ Also this “Colorful Craftsman Shell” that I forgot about and don’t think I’ll get around to furnishing/finishing it anytime soon. It has a bonus attic room. You’ll need to move the back door, place it on a bigger lot, or lower the foundation because I didn’t leave space for steps there. 

And a big modern “apartment building” with one furnished unit and a gym and indoor pool downstairs, which is kind of unfinished but idk if I’ll get back to it.

4. How many fic ideas are you nurturing right now? Care to share one of them?

A fair few! From a glance at my documents, I'd say about nine, three or four of which are half-formed ideas that probably won't see the light of day unless I get a sudden burst of inspiration to finish them.

I know fic usually means fanfic, but I do also have a poetry-style project I picked up a few days ago for chipping away at as atmosphere building practice, based on an irl setting!

Among my wips is a college au that I decided to create solely because it's debilitatingly funny to take Life Series and Hermitcraft events and translate them into real world scenarios.

The cactus ring? Grian accidentally punched Scar as a fight-or-flight response and, embarrassed, crashes at his older sister Pearl's house, who just so happened to need someone to look after it while she goes away for a few weeks. When he returns to school, Scar isn't there, so he tells his friends jokingly that he murdered the guy.

Cleo's stitching like tattoos? Every time someone asks why she has them, Joe, her best friend and resident literature student, gets to come up with even more elaborate and blatant lies. That's where the rumours that she's a zombie came from. He takes great pride in quoting Frankenstein and insinuating she's some modern-day version of his monster, and they both find it hilarious.

The roomies get to be roomies, because I say so. <3 When left to their own devices, Etho and Bdubs sometimes stretch the duvets and blankets between the top bunks in some sort of blanket fort to sit under while they play video games together. They dub the tradition the making of snow forts (Last Life my beloved) because it's really cold in winter without blankets. If Etho lends Bdubs his puffer jacket, that's between them.

Before becoming roommates with Scar, Grian occasionally saw two smaller Jellie look-alikes (she often accompanies Scar to classes, and since they both take architecture he's learnt her name), and assumed that by some witchcraft, Jellie must somehow spontaneously split into two. They're actually just a pair of trouble-making kittens, Katy Bee and Mr Finnegan. After moving in, Grian, resident pranker, takes them under his wing and teaches them how to properly get up to mischief.

-Her name is Cleo and she’s the oldest of five 

-Lives on the surface and works at ‘’Lou Mike Tony Tonie’s Pizza’’ (I might have gotten the name wrong but it’s that pizza restaurant at the end of the episode Pizza Pit)

-She doesn’t like rainy weather or snow, mostly because it’s a hassle to dry her fur, so she tends to avoid going on when it’s rainy and doesn’t enjoy snowy weather all that much 

-Big sweet tooth, her favourite drink is hot chocolate. This often leads to her butting heads with Donnie who I headcannon has a sensitive tummy to sweet things

-Due to her dislike of water she’s not overly fond of spaces with large bodies of water, but she likes to lounge on Raph’s she’ll when he’s floating in the water 

-Her favourite food is naturally anything with fish or anything with a salty flavour to it 

-Her family is fairly rich and well off in the Hidden City. Her mother tailors clothes for yokai, and with their being so many different types of yokai with various body types (some yokai even being made of unnatural stuff such as slime) the family business keeps them more then well off with money. Her father is also an explorer who helped expand the Underground City and had written books of his discoveries 

-She has a twin  

-Due to her being a twin she has a bit of a soft spot in particular for Leo and Donnie since they remind her of her sister 

-In the very beginning of their friendship, Cleo was a bit envious of Raph and how good of a big brother she thought he was. Eventually she talks to him about her worries being an older sister, but that happens way later in their friendship 

-Raph and her officially get together after the events of the movie, but the two had feelings for each other prior to that

i need to talk so ummm i’m gonna talk about my au i made that im HEAVILY fixated on.

it’s probablyyy gonna be an equal amount of humor and angst bc this girl can’t go a fic without putting people in situations. honestly might have treebark break up for a couple of chapters due to big misunderstandings (these two ACTUALLY don’t know how to communicate)

i’m stuck between having doc be ren’s ex-boyfriend who still sorta has feelings for him, or having him be a guy from one of his classes  that starts to grow on ren overtime. idkkkk yet but rendoctyn holds a place in my head so i’m trying my best to incorporate it <33

also i’d like to think that while martyn is moping about his and rens breakup, jimmy is STILL in the honeymoon phase with scott 😭 my guy goes to gem and the scott concerts instead of studying for midterms and considers becoming a botany minor. he also gets into making murals!! jimmy offers to design the side of the flower shop for scott, and he gladly agrees. (cough cough jimmy paints poppies cough)

gem is scott’s younger sister!! she’s taking a gap year, enjoying the band while preparing for college overseas. impulse is her and scotts older cousin that’s played the drums for them since they were little. when she first brought up the idea of creating a band after she taught herself to play the bass, impulse was the first person gem and scott ran to as a third member.

grian, skizz, and oli are the wingmen for this au. (grian for jimmy, skizz for martyn, and oli for joel) none have them have been in a relationship, but they have a knack for playing cupid and teasing their friends.

speaking of joel!!! he plays soccer (football???) and is a pretty good goalie. he’s had feelings for lizzie (head of the art department for drama) since the second half of freshman year, when his teammate etho introduced them to one another. joel doesn’t think she’s into him, but he’s heard a couple of rumors of her skipping meetings to sneak out and watch his games.

ALSO CONVEX AND ZOMBIESYMMETRY!!! pairings who need more love <//3 cub is scars tutor for some of his core classes, somewhat confused on how scar was able to get into college in the first place. as much as the guy might annoy him at times, cub can’t deny that he’s a bit fond of antics.

meanwhile, cleo and false are close friends with martyn and ren respectively, and it’s safe to say they’re over their mutual pining. they meet at a party before fall break, bonding over the exasperation they share for their friends. after that, they bump into each other quite a bit, sometimes at the library when one of them is study, and other times purely by accident. after a bit of thinking, cleo gathers the courage to ask false out for coffee.

The Celestials:

This family consists of Sun, Moon, Earth, Lunar (adopted), Dazzle (adopted by Sun), and the animals (Cleo, Muffin, Daisy).

They are kind of middle class and have a lot of trouble come their way.

The celestials are a close knit family, and are friendly to anyone new. Well, most of them are (looking at moon). They have all disowned their father, and their mother isn’t alive any longer. She died because of complications when Earth was born. Luckily, Earth survived the ordeal. They were the kind of family that kept going until they got a girl. And then stuff happened anyway. But they all love each other (excluding mr Sven over there, their father) and share many things, sometimes including friends! They live happily in the town of BoltBrook, and they’re all doing well.

The Shadows:

This family consists of Kyle (nicknamed “Killcode”. Father of the family.), Eclipse, Bloodmoon, Lunar (formerly), Solar, and Jack (Solar’s son, adopted into the family at birth).

They are upper middle class, but Kc (the C stands for caine, his actual last name- he took his wife’s.) came from a rich family.

Kyle ran away from his home when he was about 16 because of smothering from his mother and father. He spent a while struggling to live on his own, when he met Mrs. Shadow. She got him back on his feet and they kinda just… happened. Fast forward like 15 years and they were getting married and starting their family. They have three boys, Eclipse (the oldest) Bloodmoon (the middle, that’s not his real name just what he’s preferably called) and Solar (the youngest, and also the most picked on in the family). Kyle and Mrs. Shadow both were also overjoyed 8 years ago when Solar adopted Jack into the family, and all of them get along okay. For the most part.

The Astrals:

This family consists of, you guessed it, the astrals.

They are upper class, a very old, wealthy family that’s been around for generations.

The astrals are by far the biggest family, and both parents are at work almost all the time. Libra acted as the parental figure for many of her younger siblings, yet made sure they knew she was only their older sister. Everyone has different relationships inside the family, but most of the time they all get along well enough.

Now that you’ve read about the three main families, it’s time to talk about people outside of those.

Sven (our dimension): His family disowned him after years of his abuse, mainly mentally. He has not bothered them in years, but who knows if that will last?

Ryan (Ruin): Everybody just calls him Ruin, even though his real name is Ryan. He’s a friend of Solar’s, and doesn’t really know the celestial family well. He’s clumsy, definitely gay, and of course, an actor. He has no known family as he’s kinda well known in their area, so he keeps his family (and friends, as best he can) out of the media.

Puppet: She’s trans fem, and is a family friend of the celestials. She’s hardworking, yet still tries to be there for her friends. (And partner!)

Foxy (Carter): A friend of Monty’s and boyfriend of Puppet, Foxy surprisingly doesn’t know the celestials well. He’s trying to get to know them, but he works long hours at a few different jobs to provide for his girlfriend (Puppet) and his son, FC. (In this au, “FC” stands for Felix Carter)

Monty Evergreen: Monty is Earth’s bf, and comes from a well-off family. He’s very snarky and rude at times, but he can be really sweet-hearted too! He’s also Moon’s best friend, and business partner. (The two own a small coffee shop together)

Nebula: She is NOT an astral, but she works for them. She’s a servant, and while mostly she’s treated nicely, there are a few of the astrals that are just assholes to her (ahem, L e o). She works hard and takes her job seriously, and for that Libra makes sure she’s paid well at least. Though some days are hard, she stays at it and refuses to give up or ask for help on anything. She’s very stubborn in that regard.

Ballora, Lefty, and Sunshine/Moonlight are also in this au, under different names.

Bella (Ballora) is a pretty rich, spoiled, girl. She’s stuck up, and doesn’t really care about many people. She’s a dancer (not to be rude, but duh) and she has a crush on Eclipse. He actually barely notices her, but she’s determined to get with him.

Liliana (Lefty, a girl in this au) is a sweet girl who works at the coffee shop mentioned earlier. She’s good friends with Monty, and knows her way around construction too. She’s a designer in her free time, decorating rooms for a little extra cash to get by comfortably.

Sol & Luna (eaps sun and moon) are faternal twins. Sol is very anxious, and works at the daycare Sun manages. He is doing his best to overcome his jumpiness day by day, but y’know, it gets hard sometimes. Luna works as a game developer in her spare time, but her main job is at an auto repair shop. She gets really cynical at times, and thinks a lot of people are stupid. (Can ya tell she’s an introvert yet? No?) When she’s home at their shared apartment, she’s usually in her room working on her games. (How about now?) The two’s relationship is kinda scattered, but they’re getting along okay overall.

Okay, time for individual characters! (This took a long ass time, so sadly, no close up pictures)

Sun Celest: The oldest, and most likely to have a panic attack, of the celestials. He runs a daycare, and is a complete neat-freak. He’s always ready to run away, and almost never actually takes a break. However, he loves his family and he’s there for them when he’s needed. They return the favor!

Moon Celest: Second oldest, and most sassy. He co-owns a coffee shop with Monty and is decently smart. He’s one of the best mechanics in town. He’s quick to jump to conclusions, and very short tempered, but his family loves him anyways. And though he’ll never say it, they all know he’d protect them at all costs.

Lunar Celest: Second youngest, his temper is as short as he is. He works at a law firm, and in his spare time he likes to draw. He scares easily, but denies that he got scared just as often as he eats Nutella. (Aka all the time) He makes sure his family knows he loves them, and he always gets it back.

Earth Celest: Youngest, and also the calmest, of the siblings. She works as a baker, and does a few odd jobs too, like babysitting. She’s very extroverted, but also trusts too much. She shows her love to everyone, her family gets the most of it though. She receives as much as she gives out, and is generally well liked for her kindness.

Dazzle Celest: The youngest in the entire family, and the most innocent. She’s Sun’s adopted daughter, after her biological parents were killed in a fire. She loves to make everyone laugh, and holds her friends close and her family even closer. She doesn’t understand many things, but that’s okay because her dad will always be there to explain it to her. The rest of the celestials too.

Eclipse Shadow: Oldest, besides Kc. First son, and very sarcastic. He’s rude to almost everyone, and puts up with his siblings on a day to day basis because he has to. He works at an auto shop with a girl named Luna, who he actually likes. He would never say it out loud, but even though he’s generally an ass to everyone around him, he loves his family.

Bloodmoon Shadow: Second oldest sibling, he’s the only one who’s been to jail before. He has a bit of a split personality disorder, and has been in and out of the mental hospital as well as ending up in jail once for shoplifting. He’s a troublemaker. He also teases his younger brother at every chance, as a way of showing he cares. The only reason he doesn’t do it to Eclipse is because the last time he did, he got smacked in the face with a wooden chair.

Solar Shadow: Youngest of these three siblings, and the most picked on in the family. He works as a mechanic, at the same shop Eclipse works at. He and Jack are the only ones in the shadow family who are friends with the celestials. He’s much nicer than both his siblings put together, but holds long grudges if you cross him. Overall a chill dude, but he is also hardheaded like the rest of his family, and was raised to not take any shit from anybody. In other words, he’s easy to make friends with, but it’s also kinda easy to piss him off.

Jack Shadow: Solar’s son, he was adopted at birth, because his mother wasn’t allowed to keep him and his biological father just wasn’t in the picture. Solar adopted him, and raised him since he was born. He is excitable, curious, and doesn’t really have any self preservation in mind when he does things. Solar freaks out whenever he does anything adventurous because of this, but is lenient on stuff he can or can’t do. Jack is friends with Dazzle, and she’s about the only kid he hangs out with. He loves his father with all his heart, and would protect Dazzle from anything. (He already has in one instance!)

Castor Calypso Astral (yes ima put the astrals middle names): Soft spoken and very shy, Castor is one of the youngest in the astral family. He’s very timid, and doesn’t like talking to new people, but once he gets used to someone, his determination shows. He’s smarter than half of his siblings, and he stays calm in situations that one would normally freak out in. He has a condition, literally called “Emotional numbness”, that makes it hard for him to feel and express as many emotions as other people. It was caused by some complications in his health when he was little, as he needed a special medication for a while that left it as a side effect. He’s been picked on repeatedly by a few of his siblings for this.

Pollux Petunia Astral: She is the outgoing, extroverted twin out of her and Castor. She’s nearly impossible to get rid of once she decides to be your friend, and she usually brings Castor along (sometimes much to his dismay). The two are a package deal, and while Castor has trouble with emotions, she makes sure to show hers enough to make up for his lack of expression. She’s easy to befriend and very trusting. She also gets into trouble A LOT. Her brother’s the most important thing to her, and he shares the same sentiment (even through his troubles with emotion).

Taurus Ben Astral: Taurus hates his middle name so much, anyone who calls him it gets yeeted like a football. He’s big built, and works hard to maintain his strength. He’s able to keep his cool in many situations, but in others he snaps easily. He likes messing with people, though not as much as Leo. Speaking of, that’s who he’s closest with in the family. He deems himself a protecter, and has definitely done some in the past. Both verbally and physically.

Leo Prince Astral: He’s as snotty as his middle name. A snarky bastard and a troublemaker, Leo wreaks havoc anywhere he can. He loves to mess with his siblings, and is essentially just a menace to himself and others. He can be serious and caring however, and one main redeeming trait is his compassion for those he cares about. However those are usually the people he picks on the most. He is also a huge fan of rock and metal music, but also somehow likes pop such as katy perry.

Libra Aurora Astral: The main voice of reason in the household, Libra is about the only one able to keep the peace. Everyone listens to her, as she’s the oldest. She took care of everyone while their parents were at work everyday, their mother working as a big time pop star and their father working as a brain surgeon. She is fair to everyone and almost never has any bias. The only one she has any amount of bias for is Castor, because of the issues in his health when he was younger. Other than that, she loves every one of her siblings, and makes sure to let them know so. She also ensures they know that their parents don’t hate them, they are just busy. Overall, she’s a good, hard worker, and a very strong woman.

So, after posting my fancast the other day, we have finally arrived at the OCs that go with it!! Honestly, I’m so excited to share these babies with you guys; Monster High was one of my first hyperfixations ever, and despite how long it’s been since I properly interacted with it, I’ve never stopped loving it. So without further ado, please observe my beautiful freaky babies!!

(Also gonna tag my beloveds @manyfandomocs and @ginevrastilinski-ocs, because I know they’ve been waiting for this!! <3)

Nyx Darkfeather, a fallen angel, Jackson/Holt ship. The daughter of two angels who fell from Heaven. A new student at Monster High because her parents homeschooled her for a long time, scared of her being hurt for what she is since fallen angels are so rare. Very stone-faced, blunt, and closed-off, but eventually gets pulled into Frankie’s friend group after they make it their mission to befriend her, and winds up slowly being endeared by Jackson and Holt. Pretty powerful as the child of two angels, with umbrakinesis and some psychic powers, but she doesn’t use them very often. Also becomes besties with Twyla, since they’re both very used to the shadows.

Aiko Inoue, daughter of the Slit-Mouthed Women, Deuce ship. An exchange student from Japan who eventually decides to stay and learn at Monster High. Kind of has a bad reputation at first because of her mother and how quiet she is, but eventually people start to warm up to her. Gets close to Deuce after she gets assigned to tutor him in History of the Undead shortly after he and Cleo break up, and they eventually wind up becoming a super cute couple. Intensely shy and awkward and often uses her spirit powers to turn invisible or disappear for long periods of time, but also very caring and loyal. Becomes really good friends with the hybrids, especially Neighthan and Serena.

Chester Hoppington, a wererabbit, Gil ship. Only attends Monster High in person part-time because he cares for his eight younger siblings while his parents work. An incredible artist who meets Gil when he decides to go swimming in the school pool while Chester is there doing a drawing of the water. Incredibly sweet and caring as a result of having to be a babysitter so often, but also surprisingly stubborn and never afraid to speak out for the people he cares about. Has bunny ears and a little tail, and also has a habit of rapidly tapping his feet when he’s frustrated or angry. Eventually gets pulled into the ghouls’ friendship, and even becomes really good friends with Lagoona despite her and Gil being exes.

Matthew Steam, a robot, Frankie ship. Robecca’s “twin” brother since Hezekiah built them at the same time, and got dismantled shortly after her when he tried to confront the Gargoyles about what they did to her. A lot more socially awkward than his sister, but surprisingly adjusts to modern life a lot easier because he was always more interested in science and mechanics and he gets incredibly excited about all the new advancements. A total nerd who goes on a lot of excited rants about his interests, which Frankie is only too happy to listen to. Also an iconic sibling duo with Robecca.

Bonita Calaveras, a skeleton, Heath ship. Skelita’s older sister by eleven months, so they’ve always been in the same school year. Does the transfer with her sister and Jinafire, because she’s always seen it as her job to protect Skelita. Tries to keep Heath away from Skelita when she learns how much of a flirt he is, but just winds up falling for him instead. Fiercely loving and protective of those she cares about, but also sometimes forgets to take care of herself. The best sibling duo with Skelita, and also comes really good friends with Jinafire because they enjoy judging people together.

Dabria Yelps, a zombie, Draculaura ship. Ghoulia’s younger sibling who uses they/she pronouns, and definitely the more creativity-minded of the two; an incredible writer who wants to publish romance novels one day. Also a hopeless lesbian who falls in love with Draculaura almost the moment they meet her, but it takes a while for them to get together because Draculaura still needs to get over her breakup with Clawd and Dabira is way too awkward to properly confess for the longest time. She’s also best friends with Howleen and Twyla, and kinda goes through it for a bit during the whole Shadow Genie ordeal.

Gaia Nature, child of Mother Nature, Abbey ship. Homeschooled in the forest for a good portion of their life, but finally allowed to attend Monster High because they’ve always wanted to meet more kids their age. A total and complete sweetheart because they’ve always been taught to be kind to all living creatures, but also tends to be kind of naïve and overly trusting because they haven’t really been around actual people very much. They and Abbey are a total opposites attract couple, but Abbey is very soft for them and also manages to toughen them up a bit, so they work very well together. Definitely besties with Rochelle, Robecca, and Venus, and frequently teams up with Venus on environment-saving endeavors.

Chord Nightingale, a siren, Manny ship. Head of the Monster High choir, which Manny is forced to join as a punishment from Headmistress Bloodgood after beating up another student. Totally outgoing and sunshiney, which doesn’t allow him to get long with Manny at first. Mostly confident but also scared of ever accidentally enchanting someone with his siren song after an incident that happened when he was a kid that he’s never told anyone about. Eventually grows close to Manny and the two of them start to open up to each other, until they finally get together. Doesn’t really have many friends despite being a social butterfly, but eventually becomes pretty close with the ghost crew - Operetta, Scarah, Serena, and Johnny Spirit - and they become kind of an iconic group.

i finished riverstars home! here are my thoughts on it: WARNING THERE ARE SPOILERS THIS IS VERY MUCH NOT SPOILER FREE LOL !!!! WARNING WARNING YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!! for those who want my opinion but don't want spoilers: it was VERY good, with the only Odd thing being the pacing at some times! i really really liked it, and riverstar was great! if you are interested in him or dotc i would recommend reading it!!! <3

Very good book . Very good i enjoyed it greatly. the ONLY complaint i have really is that the pacing was a bit awkward at certain times and riverstar and finch's relationship came TOTALLY out of nowhere which really threw me off (they're cute though) but OTHERWISE it. was great. i LOVED riverstar the entire book, and all of the new characters are really fun, even if not all of them were particularly...??? fleshed out?? if that makes sense lol! i LOVED shattered ice, dappled pelt and drizzle, they were all SO CUTE and SO PERFECT!!! night and mist were REALLY interesting with night's repeated mention of her old mate & kits and their dynamic with eachother just in general! i'm also glad that riverstar and night didn't become mates because to me they have much more of a older sister/younger brother vibe which i like much more! i REALLY liked kite wing, cleo and casper were fun, and whistle was really cute & interesting! i like all of the new characters tbh, those guys were just ones i rlly liked hehe flutter appearing when riverstar got his 9 lives made me cry. badly. it was SO CUTE oh my god. 4th time i've ever cried during a warrior cats book! (others were bristlefrosts, yellowfangs and briarlight's deaths lol)!!! riverstar was so just. broken. to find out she was dead, him trying to refuse the life and deny that she's dead. GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!! iiiii am a broken woman arc was GREAT and i'm super glad the cats of the park god a little bit of screentime (readingtime? booktime?)!! arc is so like, mysterious & mystical i love him LOL though i wish the book didnt take place right when the park got destroyed! i wish we got a LITTLE bit of time with them, and it mightve even been cool to get more of riverstar when he was younger, but whatevs! and with the other clans & other rouge groups & whatnot they. sure existed! idk i didnt reaaallly care for any of the interactions they had with riverstar Except for the various times when riverstar interacted with grey wing. those were pretty cute :''] i actually like that they kinda brought back slash at the end! i think its nice when villains are reused instead of new ones being made x{ plus it makes sense! duh slash would go find another gang to go terrorize after the clans kicked him out XD and lastly. finch and riverstar. were... good! i do like them! i do like finch as well! she's pretty cool, and strong, and not suuuuper generic? like shes not the MOST interesting character on the planet but she's not bland cardboard or anything!!! which was awesome! i guess it was just the pacing of her and riverstars relationship that messed me up LOL! they were talking like they were lovers for MOONS when riverstar was only there for like, a little more than half a moon X'D also the kits were really surprising too, but whatever, i think they're cute! i was surprised that riverstar got a Mate and Children at all but ! seeing how caring he is and how he acts to like Every Other Character with the exception of the villains it does make sense lol! alright thats it!!! overall a good book, and riverstar was great ! i would recommend reading it !

oh no not the clankie angst ideas no no no no no no no no n-

cleo acting cold and strange after frankie fall into stasis sleep from using up their charge for something

(yes. you KNOW what that means)

(what did frankie drain themselves on- helping keep the portal open to get clawdeen's mom back?? protecting the school??? powering up a big spell for draculaura???)

(not the point. the point IS-)

cleo tucks a giant plush scarab under the sleeping frankie's arm and then goes right back to her normal school life routine

(maybe watsie tries zapping them awake but his charge isn't strong enough and frankie's parents are off backpacking in the mountains no one can reach them)

cleo won't talk about what happened to frankie. she doesn't even seem to care. her friends start out understanding "we're all dealing with this our own ways no shade" then get annoyed "what is WITH her???" and finally worried "no seriously what's up with her...? this is weird...."

(they're looking for ways to wake frankie up NOW NOW NOW frankie loved being in school they're missing part of the school year they're missing out on so much wonderful normal stuff it's terrible and cleo was just as frantic to help get them back until suddenly she wasn't)

drac and clawdeen look for answers. nefera is confused too but relaxes when she hears about the scarab plushie, it's from cleo's childhood, her leaving it with them means she really does care

(nefera's trying to figure out how to be a less overwhelming older sister she wants to give cleo space)

cleo's friends don't have that hang up

confrontation. cleo's not interested in it. she walks away, forgetting her organ bag. clawdeen hands it to her.....

....it feels lighter than it should.

drac has a terrible thought

all the friends huddle around the sleeping frankie, with cleo's plushie in their arms. someone notes the plushie is big enough to hide a jar in...

clawdeen finds a seam that's been re-stitched with surgical thread like the kind frankie uses. very carefully she slices it open with a claw

everyone leans in to see, then blanches

it takes using watsie stealing cleo's organ bags and having her chase him to get her attention

(being told he can help with this is the first thing to make watsie undroop and perk up since frankie went into stasis)

but they finally bring cleo back to the dorm room door

this time when they confront her she gets angry. she's close enough to her heart to feel anger again, and feel annoyance when she demands someone go in and gab her organ bag for her-

(watise dragged it into the dorm and is standing guard next to it, barking at cleo, tail wagging)

-only for everyone to say yeah no thanks, pass.

she hasn't exactly been charming lately so

clawdeen mockingly bows her towards the door so she can go get the bag herself, and cleo is angry enough, frustrated enough, that she marches right in

her steps slow when she sees frankie

and the heart jar someone took out of the plushie and tucked under their arm

she hurries to grab the organ bag but watsie licks her hand and snags her bandages, trying to tug her towards the bed

cleo lurches back and bumps into frankie's work bench. frankie's eyeball recorder falls, turns on,

and suddenly there's a projection of frankie spinning on their desk chair, excitedly talking about how cleo showed them not to bottle up their feelings, how to talk about them to someone or something, because-

when you bottle up the bad, you bottle up the good, too.

something something something, drac, clawdeen, and co coax cleo into sitting next to frankie and her heart jar, and FINALLY having a good cry

turns out cleo felt guilty and useless for being so broken up over frankie's stasis when draculaura and clawedeen were also sad but working hard to fix things. they have books to study and magic, and all she could do was hold frankie's hand and watch them work. she tried to be strong too, so at least she wouldn't distract them, but it hurt too much

Leaving her heart with frankie was the only thing she could think of, in the end

drac and clawdeen are like wait what? but we haven't been strong- we were falling apart all over each other and our friends! we thought you were doing that too, with nefera or someone!

she hasn't. Crushed 2.0, frankie's friends are also cleo's friends and they don't want her to bottle up her feelings for them either

cleo takes back her heart but leaves the plushie

next time she does her eyeball report, she's visiting frankie, sitting on the bed and holding their hand as she talks

she laughs. she tears up. watsie jumps in her lap and her scarabs cuddle over both her and frankie. she tells them they both have amazing friends and she knows they'll find a way to wake frankie back up soon. then a scream from the school intercom tells her it's time for her next class

nefera shows up at the door, hesitant. asks if she can't walk cleo to her class, maybe hang out in their room afterwards

cleo smiles. yes, she is tots in for that

she lets go of frankie's hand and gets up to leave

(no one notices the little spark that climbs up frankie's fingers, or how they give the tiniest, smallest twitch)

it has finally happened...

warrior cats life series au - skyblings

quick disclaimer - any of the parents of the skyblings aren't really being shipped i just think they would be really cool parents together. just adopt or steal a child and raise them as a family unit. nice.

also there's a tldr for each character because i have a lot to say.

okay, first is our favorite silly gal, pearl-

pearl's current name in the au is ravenmoon (воронья луна) due to her having a bird-shaped spot on her face at birth, which later covered more of her body as she aged.

raven/pearl is the child of the in-universe etho (currently named spiderweb but that's subject to change). etho and pearl's second parent were part of a group of cats living in the city, which split and moved to various locations after a disaster. etho learned about a clan of cats living in the forest and wanted to join, but his friend didn't share etho's interest so the latter went alone. he joined the clan but frequently made trips to visit his friend, ultimately coming back with a single kitten (pearl).

pearl/ravenpaw grew up in the clan, being a very successful apprentice. she didn't spend a lot of time with her father or her adopted family/friends (cleo&bdubs), instead inserting herself into her mentor's, impulse's, family and being pretty much adopted by his family once clethdubs group had jimmy and grian.

pearl finished her apprenticeship a moon earlier than expected and went on to become one of the most notable warriors the clan had. however, due to her constant arguments with cleo/burningstar and etho who became the clan's deputy, pearl exiled herself and travelled to the city, in an attempt to find her family. [some stuff happens after this, but i'll probably talk more about it if i continue working on the au :)]

tldr pearl is etho's kid that joins the clan as a newborn and grows up to be a very good warrior. however, due to constant conflicts with cleo (clan leader) and ehto (deputy), she exiles herself to look for her other family members. next up, grian!

in this au, grian is named pigeonpaw (голуболап), [getting the name pigeonsight (голубиный взор) in the future].

grian was born to clethdubs along with his brother jimmy. despite being fairly small, he was the healthier one of the litter, always active and interested in the clan's activity (which greatly annoyed anyone within his vicinity).

growing up, pigeonkit looked up to ravenpaw, who was praised by everyone in the clan for her abilities. however, because pearl didn't share his excitement, he barely got to spend any time with her. due to his siblings' absence, pigeonkit was forced to entertain himself, which led to his curious nature.

during his ceremony, pigeonkit was hoping to be given pearl as his mentor, since the latter had just graduated apprenticeship a moon ago and was the youngest and most available warrior in the clan at the moment, yet his wish didn't come true. it is rumored that ravenmoon flat out refuse to mentor him when that was suggested by burningstar.

grian was in his second moon of apprenticeship when, after a lot of yelling and fighting, his older sister left the clan. heartbroken, pigeonpaw turned to his brother for support and helped him get used to apprenticeship. [again, i have more ideas for grian's character, but they are quite ambitious].

tldr grian is a clethdubs kid who is very active and always getting into trouble. he looked up to pearl a lot and was heartbroken when she left the clan.

the last poor soul is jimmy ->

his name is (obviously) canarypaw (канареечка) [his name will likely be canaryheart (канарейкино сердце) or canaryfall (канарейкино падение? павшая канарейка??) when he's older).

jimmy was born alongside grian to clethdubs. though he was a larger kitten, he was slow to open his eyes or start walking. at a couple moons old, he got extremely sick and had to spend a long time in the medicine den. as soon as he got out, however, he was seemingly cursed with bad luck: always getting in trouble together with his bother, but always being the one most hurt from doing so.

after the young kitten's fur was covered with scars and cuts at the ripe old age of four moons, burningstar decided it was best for him to be mostly confined to the clan's camp for his safety. canarykit was expected to become a medicine cat apprentice, yet he argued his way to becoming a warrior apprentice just like his brother.

for his safety, however, burningstar ordered him to take an extra moon of kittenhood so that he could properly recover from his wounds and begin apprenticeship at 7 moons old. despite being jealous of pigeonpaw, canarykit obeyed and didn't leave camp without permission for the whole moon.

canarypaw wasn't too upset when pearl left the clan, as he was never too close with her, or anyone outside of his parents and brother.

tldr jimmy is a very sick child with bad luck, who is forced to wait until 7 moons to become an apprentice due to his poor health (and luck).
