The simple opinion of mine: i hate lucifer sm it's not even because I am Christian i am not even fucking Christian never touched the holy Bible or water in my life or I hate the devil so bad, I literally just hate him. That's it. I hate him

The long answer:Listen, in all honestness, I can see how people like him. I know my hatred is overdramatic (IT TRUELY IS🫠) because it's the same equivalent to hating pickachu, and he isn't the worst character ever, even through his actions, but he's like the first ever character that I truly purely hate and it's insane because I know characters who are worse and are (rightfully) hated but even then I don't hate them as much as I hate lucifer.

I been in MANY fandoms to know the amount of mischaracterization that can happen to fictional characters from a show, ESPECIALLY popular ones, but Lucifer is the only one where his mischaracterization (his fanon version you could say) actually fucking bothers me, so much so it really ruins the character for me enough I start disliking them. And to top it alllll off, the fandom is SOO misogynistic(another hot ass take of mine that would set me burning in trenches by the fandom) that ofc the woman that he is CANONLY has a romatic status with (idk if they are still together or not but people hate it so!) is absolutely hated on, simply for existing with just having questionable motived that we have zero clue about whenever or it not its good or bad, but it doesnt fucking matter bc she made poor litwle ducky daddy showrt kingy luCi (i fucking hate that nickname sm omg) sad boi so she needs to dieeee💥💥💥💥💥!!!!

It has never went this far before because I always knew that no matter how much a character gets ooc by the fandom, the canon show and creator will remind me why it will always stay fanon, but I have seen Vivs work and how she treats these kinds of characters and their developments..so seeing the fandoms (luci fans) take of Lucifer and Viv literally engaging with it...his actual character doesn't seem to be too far off with how they portray him--and that actual concerns me because as much as I hate lucifer, it really comes from how wasted his potential is and how the show seems to dismiss his faults and flaws(**cough**cough** like stolas**COUGH**CoUgh**)

So just to be even MORE CLEARER, my hatred is not bc of how he's characterized in hazbin-- like ik typically, if a person were to think of the king of HELL they would think all evil all cruel all mean alll torture all bad no good and clearly-he's not like that which is not bad at all actually- I like it even, i just hate how the writers never really GO that FAR with him. Like being a absolute prick isn't enough, I need to be reminded WHY he's the king of hell again, why he's is the original SIN OF PRIDE, and not "He's SooOoo prIdEfuL that he LoCks hImsElf iN a RooOm to Be DepRessO wiTH nO exPressO bC he RatHer .DIE. tHaN adMiT heLp"...I feel like if Charlie actually stand up MORE to him and like actually bring up about him being a fuckup dad (not dismissing that he never loved her, he clearly truely did before and now) and didn't immediately forgive him(as much as how cute that song was, it was wayy too soon), it would've empathize a lot of how much he fucked up as parent and that he actually needs to learn and improve which will be hard him but hardship makss good character development--if the show will FULLY knowledge it-which i have hope they will since we got like- 3 seasons to go so.

I could keep going and actually dive deeper on this by bringing up references from the show but I won't bc if I keep on typing LUCIFER on my phone screen I will lose my sanity 🫠🫠

Okay I actually had to go back and watch some episodes cause I totally forgot what characters were antagonistic and omg I forgot how much I liked the animal antagonists they were so cool. As for my other antagonists 😔💔, Robot is named Morozov, white cat is named Angelina (or Angel). Angelina is more of a flirty type and these two are both robots, well I guess it’s more accurate to say Angelina is an android. I honestly wish the Loonatics had more robot enemies it would have been cool with the sci fi setting they had. For Morozov’s deal, he is a robot that Tech created back when Tech was in that college, he still got kicked out of it for the same reason as in the show but he wasn’t allowed to take any of his creations. Unfortunately he built Morozov to be sentient so Morozov moreso commits crime out of bitterness for what he saw as Tech leaving him. Angelina though? Nah she does crime cause it’s fun that’s it LOL

As for Zadavia, she’s honestly a completely different character from canon. In my AU she’s the youngest of the Loonatics (like 16 so she has a whole different dynamic with the Loonatics, the second youngest is Rev who’s 19 and the others are all over the age of 23) and her relationship with Optimatus is different. Instead of brother and sister they are father and daughter which is why I somewhat changed his design. Thought it would be more tragic if the betrayal and banishment was from the betrayal of a father than one from a brother cause honestly I didn’t feel much for the original Zadavia and Optimatus so like 🤷

She’s practically a whole different character in this version, I changed her powers to be more in relation to black holes specifically. I also changed her outfit to fit more with the Loonatics as in the original she just seemed like she was hanging out with the Loonatics rather than be part of the team, mainly cause of her outfit. Also in this version I don’t imagine she would still want to wear the clothes of her home planet after what happened. In terms of the plot she wouldn’t be changed much, except contribute more for the Loonatics than just tell them something is happening in the city. Also she used to have short hair before I decided that that was a bit much (I did use a base for her outfit because I was too lazy that day to make whole body art for her outfit lmao). I love this Zadavia so much she’s so flawed, she’s not meant for combat like the other Loonatics so she doesn’t have armor on her outfit, she also mainly works from a distance

But honestly, Maleagant's speech moved me to tears. Just. Being subjected to all of that horror just because of the way you were born. Being ostracized and hated and treated as less than human just because of the way you are... As a LGBTQ person, that hits close to home. i don't really talk about it on here but hhh my Mom is of Jewish and French&Algerian descent, and while she didn't pass down anything culturally speaking (she considers herself atheist and she did everything in her life to conceal our heritage, so i don't know as many cultural stuff that isn't just. the Trauma:tm: or just things my mom unconsciously passed down), the conversation, especially, about how much our family had lost to the holocaust when her family lived in France, and then to the Algerian war after they moved there have been.... a lot. this is something we talk about a lot.

like. i think it's why i also kinda flew off the handle a little at receiving dick jokes out of it because to me it's just. Yeah. Yeah i those are conversations that hit extremely deep especially in term of generational trauma, and, of course, current politics as well.

I think it's also like. something i'm kinda eyeing Lancelot about in case his Valiant heritage ever happen to be relevant. Because i know i've seen people brush it off like it doesn't matter because Lancelot doesn't seem to feel anything with the dragons around him or not but there's... definitely something to be had with a heritage to a culture you weren't taught anything about and yet still the ghost of knowing it could fall down on you at anytime.

I think it's really hard to find a story that really talk about genocide while also being like. fair to the victims. More often than not fantasy stories in particular end up falling into the trap of saying that there was a reason it happened, actually, or that well it's from the past you can't punish the people now :/ or stuff like that and it's. wehh.

Personally, it made me think especially about the Ainu people in Japan. I am not really well versed on the topic, but there was basically a whole genocide on the Indigenous people of Hokkaido, and i know in recent years, Japan has been trying to take some lands that belonged to the Ainu in order to build in some themeparks, and when the Ainu survivors tried to make their plea heard and have Japan acknowledge their warcrimes, the government denied it fully. (and it's not to mention how Koreans have been asking for the past decades for Japan to recognize their warcrimes and the gov still fully in pure denial it even happened. which is a similar topic that is worth mentioning)

in the past few years Japan has been under fire for their complete refusal to address the genocides and warcrimes they had commited, and there's been a really big public outcry around the world about the state denial going on and the way it also transcribe on how those genocides are... well... /not/ taught.

so i do think it's like, extremely relevant to Japanese politics. I even saw a seiyuu mention how topical this event is. This is an event that directly criticize the current Japanese policy of constant denial and stuff.

and, obviously, it can apply to any other situation where rights are denied to people for various reasons, which is extremely relevant all around the world because of the rise of fascism and the way most governments these days are completely lost in the history revisionism sauce, and it's genuinely alarming. Look at any country's politics and all of them are trying to rewrite history in some way and it's sickening.

I personally immediately connected to it because, on top of my history awareness, it's just like. conversations i regularly have with my mom when we discuss our family's past. It stung extremely close from home. even if i'm also LGBT+ this was where my thoughts immediately went.

but therefore, it's something that applies to any experiences of oppressed people who are currently having their history erased by fascist government that are trying to get rid of "the undesirable"

i genuinely think granblue dealt with the topic with a lot of grace, and Maleagant genuinely managed to pass down the politics, the pain, the history, the old hurt as well as the new hurt, just so well.

it really struck a cord with me. It was really well done.

I had a dark urge campaign that I started and no longer will finish because I don't want that to sully my character's romance with wyll. it angers me enough how wyll is given barely any material for not just his story, but also his romance. like it's so unfair that rather than new material added to wyll's romance, all I was going to get was lines about how my character had a relationship with a fucking fascist. load of shit that is.

Pairing: Simon 'Ghost' Riley x Civilian!Reader Scenario: You see a trend on social media and make a stupid joke, Simon responds in a very Simon way. Warnings: No mask Simon (It's my personal headcanon in his regular life he probably wouldn't wear it), humour, mention of cheating, anxiety, mention of smut punishment, one spank, very old TikTok trend that I'm only getting around to writing now, canon-typical swearing.

If there was something that Simon hated more than anything it was texting. It grated him to no end. The letters on his phone were too small for his thumbs and it ended up a garbled mess on the screen. He loathed texting. Simon also hated it when you didn’t answer your phone because that meant he had to text.

He’d been up early to go visit the base for some information that Price had needed and now he was on his way home, he’d left you snoozing in bed this morning, always such a shame to leave your beautiful body without his own wrapped around it.

That single text had stolen 10 minutes of his life, 10 minutes of driving time when he could have been coming home to you.

She’s busy.

The text had come back only seconds later and caused every muscle in Simon’s body to lock up. He stared at the screen. Numb. Blinking. Once. Then twice. Then throwing his phone aside to start his car aggressively, speeding the entire way home. Fuck the shop, he needed to get home.

From beside him his phone was dinging and buzzing, but he seethed sped home, pulling up outside the house. Stalking inside as you came flying downstairs in his direction. “Simon, it was a joke. It was a joke. You tried to reason and warn him, but a noise in the kitchen caught his attention, moving past your pawing hands to find the source of the noise.

Inside a bloke stood checking the boiler, minding his own business. “Oi.” He said with a level of gruffness to his voice you hadn’t heard before, the man spun suddenly with wide eyes. “You fuckin’ my wife?” He spat out venomously at him.

“What?” The man hiccupped out. “Simon, no.” You called out from behind him, pawing at his shoulder but Simon just continued. “I said, you fuckin’ my wife?” The poor man practically paled seeing this hulking man standing before him, anger painted on his face.

“Sir, I’m sorry. I’m just here… the boiler… I’m… servicing… I’m checking the boiler.” He stumbled out quickly motioning to his toolbox and the opened boiler cover.

“Likely fuckin’ story-” “Simon. Simon, stop.” You quickly said, moving around in front of him and looking up at him. “Please, stop. Listen to me. Please.” You begged and looked over your shoulder. “I’m sorry. Just… one second…” Firmly placing your hands on his chest you moved Simon backwards from the kitchen. “Simon, it was a joke-” You cupped his face to ensure he was looking down at you. “It was a stupid joke.”

His brows furrowed, confusion evident on his face. “What?” He muttered. “I saw this stupid trend online of people texting their partners ‘I’m busy’ to see how their partners react. I didn’t think you’d show up here to skin the bloody boiler man alive.” You said in a whisper. “I’m really sorry. It was a stupid joke. I tried to call you and text you to explain…”

In his red hot rage, he’d thrown his phone aside in his truck. He hadn’t seen your explanations. “So, you’re not fuckin’ the boiler man?” He asked in a smaller tone. “No, absolutely not.” You replied with earnest. “It was just a joke and a really bad one at that.”

“Fuckin’ hell.” Simon huffed, pinching the bridge of his nose and shaking his head. “Fuckin’ hell.” He repeated in a small tone. “Almost beat that bloke to a pulp.” He said in a harsh whisper. “I’m deleting that fuckin’ app from your phone.” You nodded your head quickly in response. “That’s fair.” You agreed and reached up to rub his shoulders and upper arms. “I’m really sorry.”

Simon glanced over your shoulder to where the man continued to very quickly return to servicing the boiler, clearly wanting to get out of here as soon as he could manage. “You’re sorry?” His dark eyes then turned down to you and his lip curled up softly at the corner. “Oh, you’re gonna be sorry. I promise you…” Turning you around he brought his hand down firmly on your rear so much so it shunted you back in the direction of the stairs. “Why don’t you wait upstairs for me? I’ll be up to deal with you soon…”

Now, you knew some part of you should have been scared, but fuck if you didn’t feel excited in that moment too… maybe it wasn’t such a stupid joke afterall.
