100% knight and princess. He’ll be in nice silver armor (with red and gold accents of course) and you’ll be in a long red dress. He will be walking around all night talking about his beautiful princess!!

Aventurine

You guys would be pilots, like in Top Gun! He would be the pilot and you would be his co-pilot, of course! You would be wearing matching green pilot suits and while you guys were out and about he’d make you wear his hat and sunglasses instead of the pilot ones because he thinks you look better in his things that any costume!

Blade

You guys would both wear purge masks! This is kinda of obvious since death is kinda of his whole thing hehe. He’d be wearing a white dress shirt and black dress pants with blood splattered all over them. You’d be wearing black shorts and a black shirt with a white button up splattered with (fake) blood. You would both wear red purge masks to match! When you guys were going out, Kafka said that this was the perfect costume for you guys :)

Boothill

Based on the halloween art hehe but a mummy and Indiana Jones. But he REFUSES to be Indiana Jones so he has his you dress like him but make it cute and girly in your style and of course you’re wearing his hat. Be prepared for him to lowkey moan in your ear all night claiming “it’s what a mummy sounds like”.

Caelus

You guys would be pirates! He’d, of course, be the captain and you his first mate, because he is THE Galactic Baseballer, he has to be the captain. He would totally want to dress up exactly like Jack Sparrow, and how can you deny him that? You would be wearing loose black pants, a white undershirt with a black corset on top, along with a brown overcoat! You guys would totally get matching pirate hats too, because how can you not match?

Dan Heng

You guys are going to be a zombie bride and groom. He actually gets really excited at the idea especially when you show him the makeup and suit he’d be wearing. He thinks it’s so cool with how you do your guys’ makeup as a zombie plus the entire time you’re doing his makeup he loves how close you two are. And when he sees you in that wedding dress costume he knows he needs to propose as soon as possible to make that dress a real one.

Dr Ratio

Easily evil scientist and Frankenstein. You try to convince him to be Frankenstein because he’s much stronger and taller but he gives you a look of “I’m an actual scientist I’m being the scientist”. He also complains that he doesn’t want to be green. So fast forward and you are in a black outfit all green with the makeup and props to be Frankenstein while he’s wearing a lab coat and glasses. By the end of the night he’s a little green because he kept giving you kisses (so much for not wanting to be green).

Gallagher

You guys are the definition of werewolf and little red riding hood. He also thought about this way in advance so his little stubble is actually a beard by the time Halloween comes around. He also got your costume way in advance and he picked it out perfectly. A cute white dress with the red robe of course. He also has no shame in growling in your ear all night.

Gepard

He’s the cop while you’re the prisoner. Poor guy feels bad making you the prisoner, you literally have to tell him it’s okay and it’s just a costume and that it’s not that serious lol. But once you have on that orange jump suit showing off your body he accepts the idea. He also tells you often throughout the night that you’re the prettiest prisoner he’s ever seen!

Jiaoqiu

A witch and wizard. Since he loves to cook he wanted to be a wizard so he could make “potions” with you. So here you are in a black dress and witch hat while he’s in a long red robe making treats and potions. Your guys’ treats and potions were a hit at the party, and Jiaoqiu walks around saying of course they were because your guys magic is incomparable.

Jing Yuan

Football player and cheerleader. Dude is so buff how could he not want to show off his muscles in a football jersey ahah, but there you are wearing a cheerleading outfit with his jersey number written on your face. The number doesn’t last long because he keeps kissing it throughout the night.

Luka

You guys would be matching boxers! it was his idea, because he is a fighter after all! You would wear matching red jackets, because red is kind of his color so the choice was obvious. You’d be wearing black shorts and a black tank top, while he would just be wearing black shorts! He spent a good amount of the night begging you to “fight him”.

Luocha

You guys would be matching grim reapers! He does carry around a coffin, so it’s only fitting that you guys are grim reapers! You would both be wearing long black robes with skeleton masks. You begged him to still carry his wonderful companion (the coffin) around because it fits the costume perfectly!

Moze

You guys would go as matching Ghostfaces! You told him you had to go as him because he’s amazing at using a dagger, so it fits perfectly! You guys would be wearing long black robes with the Ghostface mask. He gave you one of his daggers to “make it more realistic”, when in reality he just wants to see you use his daggers ehe.

Mr Reca

You guys would be the Joker and Harley Quinn! It took some convincing to get him to step away from filming and dress up, but he relented when you brought up that you two would really just be acting and that Halloween is just one big film! By the end of the night he was fully convinced that Halloween is the best day ever and that you guys just dress up every year so that he can make a new film each time.

Sunday

Angel and devil. This is self explanatory but he puts up a fight. He claims you should be the angel because “you’re his angel” you pause for a second while blushing but telling him he has to because he already has the wings and halo. He finally relents after some time but it’s because he loved that short red dress on you hehe.

Welt Yang

You two wanted to keep it relatively simple so you went as nerds! Here you guys are with your glasses, flannels and books looking like the best nerds ever. The funny thing about the costume was March begging you not to become “a real nerd” because she can’t be surrounded by 3 nerds on the express.

Yanqing

You guys are definitely vampires! It took some convincing to get him away from his sparring routine, but don’t worry Jing Yuan was there to force him to dress up with you hehe. He would be wearing a classic black suit and you would be in a black dress with red accents. You would of course have matching black and red capes! At the end of the night he asked what you guys would be dressing up as next year :)

I love Rollo so much!!!! <3 the amount of GloMas screenshots I have in my photos (most of Rollo) is absurd,,,, he's rightfully earned his place among my favorites.

As for headcanons, I like to portray him as a gross pervert who hides his depravity under a cordial façade. The silent, invisible stalker type who admires from afar and doesn't insert himself into your life in any noisy or abrupt manners. He tries to be natural about it even though behind closed doors he's collecting your things and masturbating to lewd thoughts of you. It took a while for you and Simon to get together, it took you even more to build trust in him, but once he finally asked you to be his girlfriend, you couldn't be happier. 

He had his flaws, everyone had, but he was so good for you in a way no one could even imagine. You taught him how to love and he learned what it felt to finally be loved again.

He always had his eyes on you whenever you two went out, he never laid eyes on another woman, never gave you a reason to be jealous of him. You thought you'd hit the jackpot, having the privilege of a scary boyfriend that only had eyes for you and would do anything you said just to see you happy.

And he also had his job — a very deadly one, so he would often come back from missions all fucked up and demanding your attention, to which you never complained about. You'd take care of his dislocated shoulder, kiss the bruises on his knuckles, wipe the blood off his wounds. For some reason, you found him really hot like this, all devoted to you and your care.

It was all so perfect, to the point where he mustered up the courage to bring his team to your shared apartment to have lunch together on a beautiful sunday, just for you to get to know them.

You knew Price, the sweet english captain with the fishing hat and the beard that smelled like tobacco when he gave you a hug, there were two other guys that Simon talked a lot about and… a girl?

You stared in disbelief as she entered your home and greeted you, but you just didn’t want to be rude and cause a scene. She was sweet, you couldn’t deny that, but something about this felt off. The way she looked at Simon wasn’t the way she looked at the others, or maybe you were just making it up to have a reason to dislike her.

She was new, as they said, a new sniper on the team, fresh and young like a breath of fresh air. She also seemed to be closer to your boyfriend, but she didn't cross the line, at least not in front of you as far as you know.

You played it cool despite the unbearable pain in your chest, but you weren’t in your best mood, so the food you and Simon had prepared was making you nauseous. You had barely touched your plate, and you bet he noticed, but he just didn’t want to embarrass you in front of his friends.

Once the laughter left your apartment and left the two of you in silence, you were left with a pile of jealousy and a man you couldn’t bring yourself to face. The beating in your chest was the only thing you could hear when you excused yourself to the bathroom and wiped away the tears.

He was silently doing the dishes when you approached the kitchen and served yourself a glass of wine. “What do you think of ‘em?”

You sipped the drink and looked at his back. “Johnny’s cool, you’ve talked ‘bout him.” You swear you could see his face contorting into a frown by the tone of your voice, some bug definitely bit you.

But he didn’t push you, and a part of you felt relieved. He did notice the way you chugged the rest of your glass and left on the sink just right before disappearing into the bedroom. After a while of overthinking and trying to make yourself fall asleep, the mattress shifted behind you and his cold hand pulled you close. You didn’t move, not even when he kissed your shoulder in an attempt to melt you down a little.

“What’s wrong, love?” He asked in a sweet tone, trailing kisses down your arm, but you brushed it off.

“Not feeling well.” You answered coldly, but his hand was still glued to you, caressing the exposed skin on your arm. As much as you enjoyed it, the way he treated her still hurt you. "Can you… not?"

He didn't understand what you meant, you had never turned down his love, and now as he watched you put your slippers on and walk to the living room to stay away from him, it felt like his world was caving in. Needless to say he followed you like a puppy, watching you groan as you saw his figure blocking the tv screen. "You're gonna tell me what's wrong. Now." 

He stood with his weight on one hip and his arms were crossed in front of his body, waiting for you to open up. "I think I need some time, Simon."

"Time f' what?" He watched as you turned your head away, hiding your tears from him, and immediately kneeled down in front of you and cupped your face with his large hands. "Love, what are you saying?"

"You deserve someone who understands what you do." A wave of insecurities hit you like a bucket full of cold water, and frowned at how you started to sob uncontrollably.

"Sweetheart, is this about my teammate?" He asked, eyes going soft at you as you nodded. "I can't believe you think I like her. I mean, not in that way, she's just my teammate, nothing more." He took a seat next to you, pulling you onto his lap so you straddled him. "She's new to the team, I saved her ass from getting killed once and she thinks she owes me something. That's why she's closer to me, love, that's all, I promise. You can ask Price, Gaz, Soap, anyone. I love you and only you."

"You do?" You finally talked, wiping away the tears on your cheeks. He smiled at you, pulling you closer and kissing your jaw.

"I do." He kissed your neck and your collarbone before pulling you into a warm kiss. "You look hot when you're jealous." 

He smirked in between kisses, his hands roaming your back and keeping you close to him. He never meant to hurt you in any way, so seeing you crying because of him broke his heart, he loved you too much to fuck things up. And as you felt warm towards him again, he knew he didn't lose you.

🧳 Travelling Light @monstrousproductions (40) ohhh this season finale delivered everything I could have wanted 😭 I adored the Traveller / Óli reunion and the fact that they’re now going to travel together as I was so worried this was going to be goodbye and I don’t think my heart could have handled it. As an owner of green cord dungarees, let me tell you, I am feeling so smug in my fashion choices right now hehe. What a lovely farewell to the Tola and S1 - I can’t wait for more ❤️

like he just goes above and beyond to make you smile.

it’s well-known that he spoils everyone at the compound, but since you’re his daughter, he spoils you A LOT.

you’ll come home from school often to find a little box on your bed, and it’s always something you either had mentioned in passing, or something that you didn’t even know you needed. 

like you got into crocheting for a little bit. you now have buckets full of multicolored yarns in every texture and color one could ever need!!

also i feel like when you told him your favorite ice cream was the same flavor as his favorite, he literally almost burst with excitement.

and now you ALWAYS have that ice cream.

he even built a little gadget that only lets you and him eat out of it.

the only exception to the rule is happy, as thor painfully found out one day.

he went to have some and it shocked him, but happy just reached in and got it anyway.

anyways one of the coolest things about being tony stark’s daughter are the gadgets.

for example, you have a lot of clothes. but guess what? you don’t ever have to do laundry.

all of your clothes are put in this special hamper. it washes, dries, and folds/hangs the clothes up for you, then puts them away in a neat fashion. 

you have a high tech mirror (ala cher from clueless!!!!) where you can “try on” outfits before you actually retrieve them to wear.

it’s kind of awesome?

you were so embarrassed that you locked yourself in your room, refusing to come out.

happy left some tea outside but you didn’t want it.

so then finally tony came in.

so instead he just put on some music.

some really loud guitar music.

and then, with the door still open, tony stark began playing air guitar.

anyway next was state champs!!! my mf band!!!!!! the finer mf things!!!!!! I couldn't pit for them unfortunately as I have been dealing with back pain (I don't know what it is) and i have beef with them which I will bitch to them about the next time I see them because they cut my absolute favorite song from the finer things, mind bottled! how could they do this to me!!!! yes we got everybody but you with ben but at what cost? I wanna hear mind bottled for once in my life!!!! they also cut over the line in favor of secrets but I didn't even notice because I was too mad about mind bottled. why would they do me like that. Then we went to the main stages for cobra starship and simple plan. sat in the grass and listened to cobra starship, I wanted to hear snakes on a plane!!!! wish william beckett was there smh. simple plan was simple plan lol my bf wanted to hear welcome to my life so we stayed until then and then left. THEN THEY PLAYED WHERE I BELONG, BUT BROUGHT OUT DEREK FROM STATE CHAMPS! when I tell u I stopped dead in my tracks and turned tf around, thats the only simple plan song I fuck heavy with and it was the biblically accurate version. Break time in the grass hehe with some giant pizza.. preparing for the longest 5 hours of my mf life.

pierce the veil time because collide with the sky is a masterpiece. the crowd was god awful at this point it was so fucking annoying and I was in the back but whatever I got to hear one hundred sleepless nights live and biblically accurate king for a day so who gaf about the shit crowd. The girls around me during king for a day were great we needed more of that energy earlier during their set because I unfortunately couldn't give much energy due to my back it hurt so had and so did me feet and it was only the beginning lmfao

Jimmy eat world was good but man them songs were so boring if you don't know them which I don't 😭😭😭😭 how many slow songs does one album need like damn pick it up a little. I respect them though they sounded great just not what I was in the mood for when my feet were dying lmfao

a day to remember always kicks ass its unfortunate they are the way they are. I was already at the fest they do not get my money directly anymore before any of you come at me I haven't voluntarily listened to them in awhile. the juxtaposition going from ptv to Jimmy eat world to adtr 😭😭😭 then to fucking fall out boy was so funny

speaking of mf fall out boy I love them so much 😭😭 I used up all my energy for the first half of their set I was dead for the second half. I finally got to hear chicago is so two years ago live by them and not just a cover and they played mf thriller!!!!!!!!! One of my favs from ioh I was so fucking happy I didn't expect it. I was carrying the crowd in my section cause no one knew the words to anything but the basics lmfao and the 8 ball being cupids chokehold!!!! The way I screamed when Travie Mccoy came out, TAKE A LOOK AT MY GIRLFRIEND. SHES THE ONLY ONE I GOT 📣📣📣📣📣📣📣 insane honestly I love fob so fucking much 😭😭😭

and then the main event, the main reason I flew all the way to vegas, my chemical romance playing the black parade 🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤 I WISH it was three cheers but the black parade made more sense and it means they had to play the sharpest lives. they were so fucking good and they looked so good 😭😭😭 I hope they continue to play more shows because I need to see them again, genuinely no band will ever hit for me like mcr does. They've been my favorite band since 2010 and I was so grateful for the opportunity to see them perform tbp in full. the sharpest lives fixed me and disenchanted made me cry like a little bitch. I wish I was closer but I was not fighting thru that crowd I simply did not have the energy. I wish I had more energy for their set but my legs, feet, back were so sore and I could barely move lmfao. Also the crowd around me sucked as usual I hate festival crowds they are all so lame and boring like learn the fucking words please 😭😭

jesus CHRIST this ask almost put me in cardiac arrest so thank you for that...anyway the whole day has been filled with nerves and excitement. nerves because he wants this day to be absolutely perfect for you and he knows how stressful weddings can be. even then he has matty running back and forth between you two to check on you and make sure you have everything you need (you do, all your bridesmaids are extremely vigilant and have made sure you don't have to worry about anything so matty basically spends half his time trying to flirt with them because why not). anyway once it's time for ross to be at his place, he just has this massive grin on his face the moment he steps out and like he cannot stop bouncing on the balls of his feet because he can't wait to be married to his favourite person in the world. behind him the rest of the guys keep grinning and teasing him and taking the piss but they're all so excited and happy for him. his heart skips a beat when the music starts and your bridesmaids slowly start entering. they all look lovely in the colour theme you've so painstakingly picked out and now ross is practically craning his neck to see you, i mean everyone is but he's just so eager now, he's waited nearly all day for this. so his heart stops beating entirely when he sees one (1) glimpse of you and he gets all choked up just because of how gorgeous and happy you look and how you smile at him (while also trying not to cry because make up). the boys all rub his back and give him little pats till you finally make it to him and the ceremony starts.

it's very short and sweet, just your closest friends and family to attend because both of you're quite private people but once it's your turn to exchange vows, that's when he gets a whole sheet of paper out. it's been folded and refolded countless times, there are words scratched out and scrawled in the margins, you swear there's even a tear stain or two on there but he just takes a deep breath, looks you in the eyes and puts the paper back. then he just starts speaking "as you can tell, i had a whole speech prepared but i don't think i need any of that anymore. i just need to look at you and tell you that you are the best thing to happen to me. i love how you've become an integral part of my life; i love how you love and care for my friends and how you've made them your friends too. i love all your grand and wild and passionate gestures but more than that, i just love all the simple domesticity with you. i love our quiet Sunday afternoons and i love how grumpy you get on wednesday mornings. i want all of you, from now until forever and i hope you'll have me just as i am, yours forever." and makeup be damned at that point because you're sobbing (so is matty, into adam's chest and even George has shed a few tears) but everything is full of love and light and incandescent happiness. once you exchange rings and share a sweet, slow kiss, that's when the party really starts.

anyone who knows him, knows he loves a drink or two or more but your wedding night is the one night he's quite restrained because he doesn't want to forget one second of it. he wants to be present with you in this moment and celebrate the love of his life with his closest friend and loved ones. he does indulge, of course, just not enough to get blackout drunk. and also because he's been looking for an opportunity to whisk you away and have you to himself hehe. you have also pretty much been looking for a chance all evening because you cannot wait to know what it's like to have sex with your husband (just thinking about the word husband has heat pooling between your legs. and every time you catch him admiring his ring, it gets harder and harder not to drag him away lol). anyway as soon as the opportunity presents itself, you're both sneaking away, laughing together like a couple of teenagers and into your wedding (getaway) car which takes you straight to your new home. you've timed it just right that the refurbishing and decorations of the new house would be done a few weeks before your wedding so essentially this is you spending your wedding night in your new house.

he, OF COURSE, has to carry you over the threshold, how could he not. all the time he's telling you how "gorgeous you look tonight, mrs. macdonald" and how that dress is going to look even more stunning on your bedroom floor. he refuses to set you down once you're inside, instead he makes his way straight to the bedroom while you laugh into the crook of his neck and pepper him with kisses. and yes he absolutely does throw you onto the bed, followed instantly by disappearing under your dress to "take off your garter" and place a trail of kisses that has you gasping and moaning his name. he's almost hungry when it comes to getting you out of your dress (and getting out of his suit) but everything after that he wants to savour. he's never going to get the chance to sleep with his wife for the first time again and he plans to only have one wife for the rest of his life so this is it for him. it almost makes you tear up again how gentle he's being, how he showers your entire body with kisses and affection, how close he holds you. like he doesn't want to be parted from you ever again. but once the first initial round of sweet, gentle love making is done, that's when the railing starts because "we have new neighbours babe, they need to know my name"

Spent my weekend selling at a book fair & had some flyers for THP with me and I got to explain to a bunch of people what audio dramas are 👀 maybe there'll be some new fans out there now

Big congrats to The Love Talker for their launch! Listened to the first 2 episodes and I'm truly intrigued. Great characters, strong premise, just make sure to check out the CWs before listening since it can get pretty heavy. If you love TSV's Carpenter as much as I do, I think you'll also appreciate Rin. Very similar no-bullshit vibes.

Bit late, but also a big congrats to @thewyrdsidepodcast for their season finale! I can't wait to know how it all unfolds in the next season! If you're into folk horror and podcast-in-a-podcast formats and spooky folklore investigations absolutely give them a listen!

Also, there's a new Shadows at the Door episode out 👀 this one started out genuinely cute (with a great rap performance by David hehe) and then turned into the squelchiest nightmare you can imagine. Great episode once again 👌

And I finally finished Peadar O'Guilín's Creepycast where he narrates his short stories! (6 months after I started it. I'm so sorry, Peadar) If you like spooky or strange short stories, definitely give it a try! There's some episodes that tend towards dark fairytales and a lot of stuff set in Ireland and I really enjoyed all of them!

I'll take a tiny little break from audio dramas next week to listen to Publisher Rodeo and get really depressed about the publishing industry 🫠 (jokes aside, it's really informative for anyone who wants to be a writer. A bunch of interviews with published writers explaining their journey before and after publication with a focus on the industry itself.)

all of this intelligence means she has to be occupied in order to not be stressed out. this can be her handcraft project of the week most of them are on hold and lying around the compound or her video games!! she has so many, a lot of survival games bc she's very good at that and categorizing things, keeping tabs on food and water levels etc 💕

Sunday apologist here, I lvoe this man. He is def off the rails but I think a lot of people in the fandom seem to ignore that he is doing what he thinks is morally right to protect others! I think at one point he was a kind person, truly and fully, but life twisted him into who he is now, theres hints at him doing what he does because he thinks only he should have to live with burdens. Anyways yandere sunday def would gaslight you and control you, you're his pretty and weak darling after all <3

I think his philosophy is very fascinating! Contrasted with Robin's, who believes that birds (people) should fly freely no matter what, Sunday wants to protect and shelter others because he knows that they are destined to fall to their deaths. "Not everyone really has a future" is such an interesting perspective considering the entire point of the Dreamscape is to provide a future for its inhabitants, even if it's mostly an idyllic escape from reality. Sunday's philosophy revolves around the concept of a caged bird and that, though it may be weak and unable to protect itself, it can still live if sheltered behind bars.

"I want it to live no matter what." But then that's at the cost of the bird's freedom, as it must now forsake the vastness of the sky in which it rightfully belongs.

I'm rambling, but I also agree that he was probably a sweet person in the beginning. When we learn a little about the inner workings of his mind, it's that flashback with the Charmony Dove. Perhaps his intentions of caging the bird really were inherently pure (as he was much younger then), but as he grows up those intentions will naturally grow alongside him. They just happened to shape themselves into a very crooked ideal, which is why he's so very paranoid and controlling and meticulous. If the Dreamscape is the cage and its inhabitants are all birds, then Sunday is the one who watches over and protects them. Almost like a god (hehe). He's omniscient in the way that he keeps a watchful eye on everyone and everything, and the people put their trust in him and look to him almost reverently (the confessional scene........ WOW), as one might a god.

Perhaps it's an incorrect reading of his character, as I've yet to fully finish Penacony, but these are my current thoughts. :D now onto more deranged thoughts.........

I LOVE HIM. I LOVE HIM SO MUCH. AAAAAAA OTL when hsr was cooking him, they put some sort of drug in him because I am hopelessly addicted. orz don't even get me started on all of the religious references in his character design. I am frothing at the mouth,,,,, he really is so perfect.... he would absolutely gaslight and control you,,, you're like that Charmony Dove in his eyes, feeble and frail, unable to fly without the risk of crashing to your death. He must cage you. It's to keep you safe!!! He just wants you to be happy; he'll take on every single one of your burdens if it means you can live blissfully unaware, forever wrapped in the embrace of a sweet dream.

Audio Drama Sunday - 28th July ✨

What to even say about this week. Oh my god. Will anything else ever live up to the The Silt Verses finale?? I don’t know! 

🦀 It’s been nearly a week and I still want to explode thinking about the @thesiltverses finale. What an incredible story made by incredible, talented people. I sobbed, I laughed, I said ‘fuck OFF’ out loud in shock and dismay. What a wonderful reminder to choose love no matter what you are asked to sacrifice. I wish Jon and Muna all the best for parenthood and I’m looking forward to their next project, whenever that may be!

👻 @tellnotalespod (S2E14) aw it makes my heart so happy to hear Leo and Riley working through their issues!! Leo’s under a lot of pressure to fix a problem that may be unfixable (at least without a certain someone stopping being an evil hoarder of spirits) but I believe in them now that they’re no longer working in isolation!!

🖥️ The Magnus Protocol (23) The thing that really creeped me out this episode was how the writer kept referring to suggestions other handles had made while all the posts were getting 0 comments. Excellent stuff. 

🦋 @remnantspod had my emotions all over the place this week with eps 2+3. I loved how simple but effective the music was in ep 2 and I think my heart is still broken thinking about that ring. This show is going to ruin my life in the best way, I can already tell. 

🥾 @doyoucopypod is back! I listened to the first episode this week and I’m excited to hear the recordings to find out what on Earth happened in these caves! I’m worried that this entity will find out what they’re doing and compel Blair to stop them!! 

Possibly no ADS from me next week because I'm going on my sister's hen do (pray for me hehe)

I have to admit, I was a little embarrassed walking through all the Honor Society students and the middle school science fair kids in cosplay at 9 in the morning but I persevered.

I did go to high school in cosplay once for spirit day however I was insufferable in high school so I try not to think about it. I've never been to an actual convention before though so this was a first.

I am pretty heavily involved in fandom culture but god I was shocked by the amount of anime I did not know. I also felt incredibly old because where were the Hetalia cosplays?! I didn't see a single one and it just feels like as a community we have forgotten our dark past. Though I did see a homestuck cosplay so I have some hope left.

I attended for the entirety of the day on Saturday, most of my time was spent volunteering but I did manage to spend $80 somehow like I really don't know what came over me.

Volunteering was very nice and laid back and it is something I will likely be doing next year as well. I was a bit upset that I didn't get to check out the maid cade because I was so busy but I know that it will be back next year so it's cool.

I really enjoyed watching the kpop dancing panel, I don't know anything about it but the dancers looked really good and everyone seemed to be having a lot of fun.

To be honest, I don't think I have complimented this many people in my life, there were so many cool cosplays and a lot of them were from some of my favorite shows (lots of sk8 the infinity which I loved, a few soul eater and danganronpa ones as well).

The artist alley is where I lost all of my money. There were so many talented artists with amazing pieces and I'm a huge sucker for supporting small artists. Here is my haul (plus a pair of horns that are not pictured).

For the record I have never even seen My Hero Acadamia I just really love Present Mic and this print was just so cool I couldn't not purchase it. The posters are so amazing and I had to stop myself from buying more things. These were all an investment into my happiness and honestly, cash isn't even real money.

Javi's bad fanfiction reading panel was so funny, I feel a little guilty for contributing in the emotional turmoil of a couple dozen people with my very enthusiastic vote for the most horrendous fanfiction known to man, but also I think those people left just a little more cultured. Fanfiction is a vital part of fan culture and we cannot deny how much of it is just straight-up horrible and frankly disturbing so much of it is (I read over 15 million words of fanfiction last year so I am qualified to speak on this). I did have to leave a little early because at that point I had been at the con for over 12 hours and was starting to fall asleep in my chair.

I met a lot of cool people throughout the day, and it was really nice just knowing that you already have a shared interest. Within the first few hours of being there, someone asked me if I was a "button, keychain, or sticker autistic" and when I told them I was a sticker autistic they handed me a swampcon sticker. It was a really nice moment for me I don't know why.

The other volunteers were also all so kind I didn't really come to the con with anyone but I was always talking to someone throughout the day because everyone was so friendly and open. I even got to talk about Hetalia ships with someone which just made my day. I ran into a lot of you guys there as well which was so fun. If you saw me after like 1 then my wig was off because that thing was way too itchy to wear for a full day, I only made it like 4 hours.

Next year I will not be spending all of my money and I'm gonna drag some of my friends along to make sure I get to do all of the activities like maid cafe and the Miku concert (I did not attend but I helped pass out glowsticks so you may have seen me hehe). This was actually so much fun and I would have attended on Sunday as well if I didn't have so much homework to do.
