HYPERSOMNIA JANUARY DEV LOG : "LOG 1, WOOHOO!"
Hi! For all of you who follow HYPERSOMNIA, or are just stopping by, let me introduce you to this post to really set the tone.
For 2024, I am going to try to release a dev log about HYPERSOMNIA once a month, may come earlier, may come a little late, but I'm doing this to help give insight on to how the game is going, and to give me motivation to work on the game.
First things first, big news!
HYPERSOMNIA IS NOW AVAILABLE TO WISHLIST ON STEAM! (LINK)
After a while of back and forwarding with Valve, I've finally got a Steam page to call my own, and MAN is it bizarre seeing my weird little RPG in my Steam library. Like, that's my logo, and my key art, and screenshots of MY game, that's so weird. It doesn't feel real. BUT IT IS!
And, I would really really really really really appreciate it if you would consider wishlisting the game on Steam. It helps with the algorithm, and my happiness because I like seeing numbers go up, it feels good.
I even drew this as a announcement/commemoration for the page going live.
(P.S; if you couldn't tell, I really like Half-Life, it's one of my favorite game series.)
Secondly...
A new trailer is in the works! We were accepted for this year's MOTHER Direct (4th time baby, whoo!)
The trailer has been coming along well, I hope to show more battle oriented clips that I've missed the last few years, like special moves.
Can you believe I've never actually gotten to adding those in the game? I mean, they come set-up in default RPG Maker projects but I've never gotten around to revamping them until now, year 4 of engine work. Isn't that strange?
I also hope to improve on editing in the trailers. Whenever I finish a trailer I come back a few months later to notice minor points where I was kinda sloppy.
I'm not much of a video editor, (I only learned so I could edit trailers on my own) but I'd like to keep them at a good presentable quality. You gotta have standards with that kinda stuff, it's important!
OK, TIME FOR THE ACTUAL GAME STUFF. HERE WE GO.
Abilities are now implemented! And work! Wahoo!
In HYPERSOMNIA, players are able to switch abilities between party members. I find this a really interesting mechanic for how simple it seems, you get to choose who plays what role in your party. I think this is HUGE, and opens up a lot of unique scenarios for the game's encounters. I've had this planned for years, as far back as 2021 if I can recall, so it's super cool seeing it in game.
Mapping is being worked on!
I've also been working on mapping out more areas of the game! The forest part you hopefully saw in the last trailer is almost completely mapped. I've been working on the second part to it and am hoping to finish it sometime soon.
Mapping forests really suck. THOUGH, almost all the maps for the first chapter of the game are done! That's just another step closer to the demo. (Which, FYI, will be on Steam and Itch! ^^)
I've also been working on re-spriting older scenes!
This one's been really fun to do, I've been going back and redoing older stuff from the 2022 trailer, like this train! It's weird seeing it side by side, because you can definitely see where it's come from but at the same time, it looks so different.
(Also side note, these sprites are CRUSTY! EWWW!)
Lastly, Script and Music updates!
The script for HYPERSOMNIA's first act has been completed! with just 37 pages of just cutscene dialog alone! We're also currently working on wrapping up NPC dialog! Not much else to say.
And music is being worked on!
Music has been making some progress! I like to lay out demo's for areas I'm mapping out to help make both the music and scene come together. (Also, to help break up the eerie silence when playtesting...)
Speaking of music, FIREBALL, the games main battle theme, was recently delisted on our YouTube channel.
We did this because we decided we wanted to resample FIREBALL, and found that it's best to not have the song uploaded until a complete, final version is made. At least for the demo, it could possibly change before the final game but that's a bit too far in the future for me to think about fully.
Hey! Thanks for reading the whole dev log! Unless you just skipped to the end, you should probably go back up and read it. there's a steam page now. and some cool ross art at the top. you're missing out!
I hope this was like, readable to you all. I'm new to this whole dev log thing, so if you read it all the way through, let me know! It'd be cool!
I'd like to use this portion to pretty much just advertise Unique Indie RPG's.
Have you ever seen that strange purple square at the beginning of the 2nd and 3rd HYPERSOMNIA trailers?
Yeah, that! That's UNIQUE INDIE RPG's, which is a Discord community for you guessed it, Unique Indie RPG videogames developed by people like me! Or you! Or whoever! Who cares!
I help run it with some of my friends, and we all share cool stuff about our videogames! There's a ton of other SUPER cool RPG Maker games there like Astral Guard [LINK], or SOMEWHEN [LINK], or even MOMOinc [LINK]!
And of course, HYPERSOMNIA. It's a really laid back community, we're all super chill. Come swing by! We'd love to have ya, and SHOW US YOUR GAME!

anidala week day 1: headcanon/missing scene
*hehe trying my hand at some ✨romance✨ this week.*
“You left in a hurry this morning,” she says lightly, brushing his shoulder as she walks behind where he is sitting on the couch. Hunched over, a ball of tension and fire.
“I wasn’t aware I had another option.”
He hears her feet shuffle to a stop and, without looking, he knows she’s at war with herself. Deciding whether or not she should pick this fight. A part of him twists in guilt, but the larger part of him–the dragon–roars and drowns out the humanity. He wants to fight.
She continues walking and Anakin sighs in frustration. Not at her. None of it is ever at her, but he needs her and apparently so does the Republic. That infuriates him. He doesn’t care about the Republic. He just wants Padmé.
“You left this,” she says, coming to sit by him on the sofa. She places a small, black book in his hand. It’s leather-bound and torn in too many places, but it’s ragged appearance does nothing to quell the onslaught of memories that accompany every touch of this book.
“Sorry,” he says quietly, moving to shove the book in his waistband.
Her hand catches his. “I didn’t know you were still drawing.”
He lifts an eyebrow. “You went through it?”
Immediately, something flashes across her face and she recoils into herself. “I’m sorry. I...I didn’t–”
“No,” he says. Then, “No. Padmé, I’m not...I’m not mad. Just surprised. I didn’t…” He sighs heavily and runs a hand down his face. “I’m exhausted. Sorry.”
She grabs the hand before it falls back into his lap and raises it to her lips. “I know,” she whispers, before dropping a kiss on his knuckles. “I miss you.”
He closes his eyes and fights the pricks of darkness that press at the edges of his mind with those words. It shouldn’t affect him like that. I miss you. Those words are good and pure and he’s so tired of feeling guilt and shame and so, so much fear.
Something is wrong with him. He’s known it for a while and so has everyone else. But no one is willing to help him.
“In the back of the book, there was…” Her voice is quiet and he immediately knows. “I just wondered if you’ve thought about trying to reach out again. It might mean something to her. TO have a physical memory of her–”
“She doesn’t want to talk to me.”
“That’s not true,” Padmé says immediately. “She’s trying to figure things out on her own. She’s just–”
“She left me,” he grits out.
Padmé pauses. “She did not leave you, my love. She…” Another pause and he knows she’s frowning. “Ani. Stop.”
He hears her voice, but can’t seem to respond.
“Ani, come back. Stop that.”
She squeezes his hand and he blinks quickly. His eyes refocus on her and he tries to pull a smile. Her eyes are wide with concern. But not fear–never fear.
The Force has reserved it’s full load of that particular emotion for him.
“I wish they would let you rest,” she says quietly.
Anakin pulls a chuckle. “I’m not the one carrying a baby.”
Her face softens, as it always does when they’re discussing their child. Anakin watches her, enraptured by her easy beauty. Padmé Amidala is many things–a leader, a politician, an advocate. But he thinks mother might suit her better than any of the other things.
“How is she?” he says, and moves a hand to her bump.
Padmé laughs, laying her hand over Anakin’s and moving it. “So sure it’s a girl, huh?”
“I told you–”
“The kick,” Padmé finishes just as the baby proves Anakin’s point with a sharp jab. He grins widely.
“I can’t wait to be right.”
“Oh, like your ego needs any more of a boost,” Padmé rolls her eyes, smiling.
He leans back into the sofa and moves an arm around her shoulder, pulling her back with him. Her chin rests on his shoulder, watching him. It feels nice, to be on this side of a longing stare.
“I have a confession.”
“Me, too.”
Padmé blinks in surprise and sits up a bit. “You do?”
“Yeah,” he says easily, nodding his head, “the truth is, Padmé–I’m married. Married to this Senator from Naboo. She’s a real nut, especially when it comes to pens, but I’ve gotta tell you. She’s hot. And–”
She swats at him, laughing. “Oh, stop it. And I’ll have you know, Anakin Skywalker–my pen obsession is valid! Certain pens don’t write the same way!”
“Blah, blah, blah,” he mimics, poking her cheek as he pulls her back down to his shoulder. She settles there with an exasperated huff. “Now, my pen-obsessed-super-mega-smoking-hot wife,” – he ignores the shove into his chest – “what was your confession?”
“I kept some of the drawings,” she says in a tiny voice, her mouth muffled by his tunic.
“Hm?”
“Your sketches–I…” She reaches behind her and withdraws two pieces of flimsi. “I kept these two from your book.”
He takes them into his hand and studies the first one.
“Oh,” he says quietly.
“I just...Ani, I’m...what? Fourteen? Fifteen? In that sketch, it’s…”
“I drew it on the ship back from Naboo.”
“You…” her eyebrows furrow in confusion. “What?”
He looks at her with a small smile. “I’ve always loved you, Padmé.”
She rewards his praise with a deep blush. “Go to the next one,” she says, quietly.
He shuffles the first photo behind the second.
“Is that…”
“Leia.”
“Leia?” she asks.
“Our daughter,” he says, suddenly feeling self-conscious. “We don’t have to call her that, obviously. That’s...it’s just something I thought of. But I–”
“I love it.”
“Well, I–” he freezes, then turns. “You do?”
“I do,” she gives a small nod, wrapping her arm around his and pulling herself closer. She uses her free hand to point to the picture. “Right there...where are we?”
“Naboo,” he says. “I couldn’t think of anywhere else I’d be any happier. When this is all over...the war, the Separatists–”
“Yes,” she breathes.
“What?”
“Yes,” she repeats, a bit louder. “As soon as this is over. Let’s leave. We’ll have the baby and–” She scrambles out of his arms so she can look at him properly. “Ani. We’ll be a family.”
“We are a family,” he says, but he’s smiling, too. He looks back at the sketch. It’s rough–a torn edge on one side and stray pencil marks all over. But the idea is clear enough. Padmé stands on the left, in a dress that he’s always loved; he wishes he had pinks and yellows on the transport he drew this on. The edge of the lake laps at her bare feet, because that’s the thing about Padmé–she’ll negate shoes any chance possible. He loves that he’s one of the only ones who knows that. Makes him feel like a real husband.
In the sketch, he’s to her right. One arm, the metal arm, concealed behind her back, as he holds her close to him. But his eyes aren’t on Padmé for once. The little girl in his arms–tugging at one of Anakin’s curls and offering him a gummy smile–holds all of his attention.
“She looks like me,” Padmé says in wonder, her hand absentmindedly trailing up and down her stomach.
“Well, she’ll have my charm, obviously,” he says.
“Obviously,” she snorts. “Though I hope she gets my talent for diplomacy.”
“Hey, my diplomacy is great, thank you very–”
“Lightsabers don’t count!”
“Well, neither do blasters!” he throws back.
She opens her mouth to reply, but closes it. Then, smiles wide, cheek to cheek.
“A family,” she squeals.
He drops a kiss on the crown of her head and takes a breath. As always, she smells of vanilla, nagi-berry, and a twist of mint. Like home.
“Soon,” he sighs, happily. “I can feel it.”

Meraki Year 1, Day 5 (Summer 4th) Summary
* Gaia of the Amethyst Eyes was born! Noel has big plans for her.
* Pallu and Stachia of the Icicle Eyes had the world’s worst day trying not to die. Luckily for the presently-indistinguishable twins, Darah and Hasrah, they succeeded in surviving another day. Their garden is in a sorry state; they have the fewest wild mushrooms of any household; and I finally realized there was something wrong with their deer spawner placement, so the reason they were struggling so much more than everyone else was that they’ve never had a deer to hunt. (This was rectified in the creation of New Meraki, which starts “tomorrow,” and also I gave them a bunch more mushrooms to make up for it.)
* In stark contrast, Nadii’ya and Linus of the Brown Eyes had the most peaceful, perfect day at home, sleeping late, getting plenty of gardening done, and generally being cute and boring. Linus officially is the least fussy Sim!baby I’ve ever had.
* Meanwhile, Tobiah of the Brown Eyes stirred some drama at the Fishin’ Hole by making a big deal about Saphir of the Golden Eyes hooking up with Noel of the Amethyst Eyes in the hot spring, in front of everybody - including both of their zero-jealousy partners.
* Gandu of the Sapphire Eyes started the day with the flu but recovered relatively quickly. Instead of being a productive carpenter he went out and about - flirting with Tammuz, getting wood from Lehabim, and receiving some yelling from Kimba of the Amethyst Eyes for denying her the opportunity to be his healer.
* Nonetheless though, Kimba “went to work” and as a result of a positive chance card, got promoted to Level 2 of the Healer track: Herbalist. So her day turned out pretty awesome. And for a nice charismatic social butterfly, she was really happy about making two different Sims cry for two different reasons.
* Junia of the Sapphire Eyes dreamt of getting back on the trading trail and earning her fortune, and formulated a plan to wean their son Nehorai early to facilitate that more quickly. She is otherwise very apathetic towards parenthood.
* Lehabim and Saphir of the Golden Eyes also had a mostly productive and quiet day, except for the aforementioned Public WooHoo (which actually happened on the Brown Eyes’ rotation). Saphir had her first (and only) pregnancy bump pop after bedtime. Because of the BBFVFS, she gives birth tomorrow instead of Day 7.
* To that point, all the Day 4-birth babies will become toddlers overnight. without fanfare. Junia’s weaning plan spread like wildfire. (And I may go in for an age mod to shorten all the babies’ baby-time from here on out. And maybe explore 48-hour pregnancy, too.)
* Tammuz, Rubati, and Japhia of the Green Eyes also had a quiet day, until Gandu came by to get Tammuz all hot and bothered before work - which is probably why he made a poor choice in treating Rubati’s boo-boo and ended up giving her the world’s shortest-lived flu virus ever. (HOORAY FOR NEW MERAKI)
* Word on the street is a hunting (and gathering) excursion to the meadow is in the works. Beer and/or bread may be closer than anyone thought. And hot dog buns were officially ruled non-canon.

January 2, 2021
Woohoo, We have made it to a new year!
Christmas was really great this year, the kids all ended up with too much stuff as always. Max got the new zelda game and a case, Penny got a ton of art supplies, and Lily got a supermarket store toy. They all seemed pretty stoked on Christmas morning, Robby and I got each other gifts this year too which is years past we usually have not. I got a new purse and a ton of awesome fuzzy socks, also a new hair dryer which I really needed. I got Rob an ancestry thing which I’m totally excited for his information to come back from. I also got him a Keurig coffee maker. We had three other Christmas events, the first one was with Katie and Daniel and Gwen and John’s house. This one almost didn’t happen because 2 weeks before Katie got covid, then quickly after Daniel got it too. They just missed the quarantine window and were able to come. They are fine, they did both lose their sense of smell and taste for a while and were pretty down for a couple days. We also celebrated at my dads house on Christmas Eve and then we went to Jesse’s house on Christmas Day with my mom and Mike. Overall it was a really nice chill holiday, this is the one year when not having a huge family worked out well because we were able to be with everyone relatively safely.
The vaccine is now available, but only for certain groups of people. It started with front line people at hospitals and now we are in phase 2 which includes other nurses and health care people, along with people who live in large communities like nursing homes and prisons. My mom got one just this last week! I have a feeling we are kind of at the end of this but people are saying a lot of things may still be shut down and masks may still be around well into 2022. I am just not sure how to feel about it all, it really hasn’t effected the schools nearly as much as I would have thought. The kids all go back to school in 2 days so hopefully they will make it through the rest of the school year without any more issues. I am pretty upset still about not getting to go on any field trips or getting to see their holiday or graduation programs, but in the end I’m happy they are at least getting to go to school and not having to have me be their teacher mom anymore!
On another happy note, I booked Disney again!! 2021 is going to be our year, and it is totally going to happen. I have a condo right by Disney booked and I rebooked our plane tickets! I feel a little less excited then I did about this a year ago I think just because there is always a chance it wont be able to happen. I am trying to have faith it’ll all work out.
Katie’s baby Caroline is growing! Katie is about 30 weeks now, we have just under 2 months until she is due! We are so excited to meet her, the baby shower is going to be in 2 weeks. I’ve been stressing out about it more than I usually do things like this but I think I have gotten it all figured out at this point. I have been feeling a little unmotivated lately. Which has just been stressing me out and not helping with actually getting anything accomplished. Either way the shower is in two weeks and hopefully I’ll have it all figured out by then...
I got to watch Miles, Natalie’s baby for 3 days at the beginning of Christmas break. He is a really good baby, he is just over 6 months now and almost sitting up on his own. He seems to hate all baby food and spits it all up but he doesn’t cry much. He naps really well but man he doesn’t like to be left alone. He wants to be held 24/7! The kids were all really big helpers, Penny especially seemed to really enjoying playing with him. I ended up making like 5 batches of cookies and 4 pies one of the days I was watching for Christmas and Penny helped me play with him when I couldn’t.
So Max had his wellness appointment at the beginning of December. He is at the 30 percentile which kind of surprised me because I felt like he was always around the 50 percentile but the Dr said he was about the same at last year. Either way he is 4 ft and 4 inches and weighs 59 lbs. He had only been to the dr once since his last wellness appointment, when he and Penny were sick over the summer. Pretty impressive when they can go that long without being too sick! He made a new friend at school this year which has been so great, I know he was really wanting to find a friend who he actually got along with and I think that has finally happened. His name is Aiden and he came and spent the night with us on New Years eve! The boys were both asleep around 11 and I was just after them, haha...we watched the ball drop in NYC time and that was enough for us! He is getting ready to go to Aiden's house to stay tonight too, this will be his second time staying the night with a friend. His first time was with Michael and Eli a few months ago. Max got a ton of new books for Christmas but he mostly has his nose in his Nintendo lately. I’m letting him have it until the break is over then we will try to get back into a more healthy screen time routine.
Penelope, my beautiful Penelope, she is like a little teenager all of the sudden. Not like moody or anything but all the sudden she wants to dress more mature, not little girly, no big bows or bright colors. She is super into makeup and fashion. She got a ton of art stuff for Christmas and has been painting quite a lot. We got her a big stand up easel and she wants to take it to a park somewhere and paint a landscape like they do in the movies. So yeah we are definitely going to make that happen as soon as it warms up a little bit. She is doing fantastic in school, she just won as the best mathematician in her class then got 4th in the grade! She is reading extremely well for her age too. She has made friends with two girls who live down the street and they play often which is awesome. I’m happy that she has that like I did when I was little. She had Macy come over and stay the night on New Years Eve as well and they stayed up until 3 in the morning! So they ended up sleeping like all day the next day haha but I’m sure they had fun, I wouldn’t know I was asleep at 11.
Lily turned 6 since I last wrote on here!!! My baby is 6, gah I can’t even deal. Her birthday party was great! I was hoped a few more people would have come but it all turned out perfect and no one got covid out of it, haha. Lily had a friend from her class that got to come and that totally made Lily’s day! I took her to his yearly wellness appointment too and She is in the 40th percentile and weighs almost 50 lbs and I can’t remember how tall she is but I think it is 3′11″. I’ll have to check that and update it later*** What else is going on with Lily, well she started sucking her thumb again, I don’t even know, she had stopped, like totally stopped and now it is back like she never stopped if not worse. I’m trying to give her a couple weeks to let everything calm back down and then we will try with the bandaid again and try to get her to stop. She lost her first tooth! Bottom left, and the one next to it is almost out and both of the new teeth have already popped through. We were really hoping to have her stopped sucking her thumb before her front teeth came in, which is pretty soon now. Hopefully we will get back there soon! What else is Lily up to, she is thriving in school, her teacher tells me that she is really good at following directions and she is nice to everyone like they are her best friend. She is getting perfect grades on everything and seems to be exactly where she needs to be. She is getting good at her sight words but hasn’t found the confidence yet to totally say she is reading yet. I have a feeling by the end of this school year she will totally be there though. Lily has been wanting to have a friend come over and stay the night so bad, we have tried with Ivy and Olly a friend from school but their moms think they are too young, which I totally understand but still, she sees Max and Penny doing it and feels left out. Don’t grow up too fast baby girl :)
Well it is a new year and I set myself a hefty amount of goals for the new year. My first goal was to write on this more, like once every 2 weeks.
I am going to try to have at least one date night a month with Robby
We are going to Disney
We are going to start, and dare I say finish the kitchen in 2021
I’m going to see 100 on the scale...
I’m going to try new recipes and healthier recipes
One day a week will be tech free, this includes the kids (Max is thrilled)
Also I want to get better at crafting and sewing, I’m going to try to make a new thing once a week, stop pinning on pinterest and start creating
Read 2 books every month
It seems like a pretty overwhleming goal list but everything is totally doable and I think hopefully It will make for a great year!
Cheers!

G-LO: Well, you did it again! A red-eye flight from LAX to JFK on Tuesday evening, an afternoon of eating and drinking in Midtown Manhattan on Wednesday afternoon followed by a 4 hour Kosher BBQ and whisky event in Battery Park at a little thing called Kiddushfest – World of Whisky, Brews, and Que, post-event whisky and cocktails at The Dead Rabbit, a MASSIVE slice of artichoke pizza in the West Village at 1AM, 2.5 hours of sleep, and then a 9AM flight from JFK to LAX on Thursday morning. What’s your secret???
AK: We can sleep when we’re dead. Or at work. The thrill of the whisky festival chase gets the adrenaline flowing. So we chase. And chase. And chase. Oh, and the thought of seeing you was a huge thrill. Zzzzzzzz…
G-LO: WAKE UP! No sleeping on the job!
AK: I’m awake now! Jeez! That was my good ear you were yelling into.
G-LO: And yes yes, whisky festivals always get the blood pumping. Though as we’ve said before, it’s less about the actual whisky, and more about the opportunity to see friends. Whisky is THE excuse for all of us to get together. It’s a catalyst for chrissakes!
AK: Oh, indeed, we’re surely at the point these days in our whisky journey to admittedly care more about the people we see, the sights and sounds, and the food. Cask Strength GlenOak 12 “The Overly Ryed Series”, Single Barrel Old Whipper Snapper 18, and similar mean less now after realizing that all are overpriced, pretty horrible, and unnecessary. Whereas the friends we see at these events are none of those things.
G-LO: Whipper Snapper 18? I must have missed that one. I really should pack my reading glasses when I go to these things. I’m really glad you mentioned the food by the way! The NYC Jewbilee always took the food really seriously, so even though they’ve been mothballed for an undetermined length of time, I was very VERY pleased when we broke the news that their caterer, Ari White of The Wandering Que, was launching Kiddushfest to take its place. Mmmmmm….. BRISKET!
AK: Did someone say Brisket? Mmmmmm…I so gloriously recall Jewbilee II that we attended at the West Side Jewish Center in Midtown Manhattan. The Center was packed with people. It was packed, hot, and sweaty. I didn’t know anyone except from this thing called the internet. For all I knew, you were were a 5’ 8” blonde bombshell in 8” stilettos and fishnet stockings. Boy, was I wrong! I was scared beyond the capacity for rational thought. But I was also overwhelmed by the smell of whisky and cholent. I felt like I was in my grandmother’s house in Inglewood, CA. All the fear left my body as I waited in line for Ari’s delectable offerings. My head basically exploded. Then my stomach. I might have the order wrong.
G-LO: Explosion is an ugly (and messy) word. How about if we describe your experience at the outstanding Jewbilee II as a food and whisky-gasm? Much more appealing, and a little naughty too. In a nice way. The tagline for Jewbilee II should have been, “Leaves you satisfied and yearning for more…”.
While Kiddushfest was built around the same framework as the Jewbilees of Yore (that sounds like the name of a new BBC mini-series, no?), going from the West Side Jewish Center and Studio 450 (home of NYC Jewbilees III through VII) was quite a big change. We went from the hustle and bustle of Midtown Manhattan and the monolith that is Penn Station and Madison Square Garden to the just slightly less hustley and bustley area of Battery Park. In a way, we went back to the beginning, i.e. back to where the first settlements of what was once called New Amsterdam took place.
AK: Found this in my research (i.e. Wikipedia) on the origins of Battery Park as a public space in the 1840s:
Proponents said that the park would serve three purposes: abetting good health, improving the behavior of the “disorderly classes”, and showcasing the refinement of the city’s elite.
Well, my brand of public policy and civic benefit clearly believe that Kiddushfest is a great example of all three of those. Ok, maybe not the second one and the third one is kind of iffy but I’m sure we’re in way better health after the event. Who doesn’t feel better after a night of whisky and BRISKET?!
G-LO: While I can’t speak for you and your delicate constitution, I can speak for my very robust, Sicilian constitution, and let me tell YOU, I felt fan-freaking-tastic after Kiddushfest! I am quite confident in saying that the heady mix of yummy vittles, bottomless pours of The Water of Life, and delightful company in a picturesque waterfront location left me feeling refreshed and ready to take on The Town. Ok, so maybe not the WHOLE town, but I was definitely ready for a couple cocktails and some late-night snacks. And speaking of yummy vittles, you spent quite a bit of time speaking with the orchestrator of said yumminess, i.e. Sir Ari White! What was that all about?
AK: First off, my constitution is as robust as anyone!
Narrator: It wasn’t.
G-LO: Who was that???
Narrator: This was true. He was clueless.
G-LO: OK, that’s just freaky. I’m feeling like the Priest in Season 2 of Fleabag right now whenever that 4th wall was broken!
Narrator: But not as freaky as this blog.
AK: I’m forging ahead, pretending it’s one of the many voices in my head. Where were we?
G-LO: Ari White and The Wandering Que.
AK: Sounds like a band I’d like to be in. Talking to Chef White about smoky heaven. He can get all bbq nerdy or meaty egalitarian with ease. I’ve been nerding out on The Gospels of Aaron (Franklin) and Steven (Raichlen) as of late, trying to change my life, and make the perfect brisket on my Weber Kettle. Talking to Ari is another step in the process. And from a whole different angle since he cooks Kosher meat. But let’s not get too deep in the coals.
G-LO: You and your goddamn Brisket! I’m still holding out for an invite to the next West Coast Office Brisket & Whisky Fest. Bastard.
AK: First, it’s G-d damn Brisket. Let’s be respectful, you heathen. And second, my table always has a place for Elijah the Prophet, Scarlett Johansson, and you.
Madame Skiver-Barton enjoying a smoke and a whisky.
G-LO: I only heard bits and pieces of your Q-chat with Ari. While you two were talking, I was also listening to the Whisky Advocate peeps (Susannah and her Minions) discuss some stories that they were working on. I may be an eavesdropper, but I ain’t no multitasker! Especially when it comes to listening to two conversations at the same time. Tell me more about this Que-chat with Ari.
AK: Oh, we chatted about pink butcher paper, Aaron Franklin, wood, smoke, bark, cooking for a large group. You know, regular stuff. Probably the same stuff Ms. Skiver-Barton was going on about. You know how she is. She gets rolling on a topic and before you know it, you’re in the North Carolina weeds lost amongst the sycamores and fist-sized bugs wondering where the nearest fillin’ station is.
G-LO: Please, don’t even get me started on that Skiver-Barton woman. You know how it goes with those hyphenated last name people. Trouble with a capital “T”! Yes, I know that rhymes with “P”, and that that “P” rhymes with pool. But this ain’t River City, Pal! And we’re not talking about starting a marching band for wayward youth. We’re talking whisky and BBQ! And Madame of The Hyphenated Last Name most definitely knows her way around a North Carolina BBQ pit and a whisky distillery, so yes, we were most definitely in the weeds that night, but thankfully, the bugs weren’t so bad, and they were nowhere near fist-sized. What the hell were we talking about again???
AK: There may be nothing scarier than a hungry Susannah Skiver-Barton (aka SSB or Super Sonic Barton for short) waiting in line for brisket. The stomping of sensible shoes was surprising, I must say. I expected the drooling since I was too and, to be factually correct, we were standing by the door to the kitchen with the wafting of barbecue coming our way. Who wouldn’t drool? C’mon!
G-LO: Drool is such an ugly word. It’s right up there (or right down there depending upon your perspective) with moist. I prefer to say that our mouths were watering, and that the brisket was juicy and delicious. You know, cause it really was!
All this talk about brisket is making me hungry. Again! Let’s talk a bit about the whisky. Thoughts on the selections? Was there anything that really tickled your fancy? I mean, I certainly wasn’t gonna tickle your fancy! There’s a Mrs. West Coast Office for that bit of funny business.
AK: You’re such a tease. Well, we knew that Ari’s food would be A+ and it was! I might have had a couple of helpings of brisket. Only my tailor knows for sure. But we had no idea (at least I didn’t) what the whisky offerings might be. Seeing Señor Joshua (née Jose) Hatton downstairs manning the IMPEX-JVS booth made us muy happy. Kilchoman, Port Askaig, Penderyn, and Single Cask Nation offerings! Woohoo! There was one table that was confusing. Port Ellen, Laphroaig, old Macallan and more!!! Butttttt….that was for some kind of raffle that I didn’t quite understand. There was also an odd table of some spirits from Gardena, CA(!). Now this intrigued me if only because Gardena is where this chap started out in life. Who knew the little bedroom community has a distillery? Or does it? We need to research.
G-LO: I am most definitely a tease. I’m the teasiest tease that ever teased. You know who isn’t a tease? Señor Hatton! He’s no tease. He aims to please. He brings the whisky AND delivers one hell of a hug! While he and IMPEX-JVS definitely delivered The Goods, I gotta say, there were some significant holes in the whisky selections when compared to the last Jewbilee we attended. Wassup with that, Bro?
Joshua “Yo Yo Yossi!” Hatton of Single Cask Nation, IMPEX-JVS, and The One Nation Under Whisky Podcast
AK: Upstairs at Battery Gardens… did we mention where we were for this shindig?… there were plenty of spirit tables. Well, about 20, I’d guess. Mostly names we knew but definitely some unfamiliar ones like the tequila table whose name escapes me. It was great to see Laws Whiskey House from Denver. I love their Rye. Señor Hatton turned me onto them at Jewbilee in Chicago-bang bang. And who doesn’t love Compass Box? Corsair had a table too. But I was hoping for more Scotch names. My guess is that it’s hard starting up a new festival and getting commitments from brands to attend.
G-LO: You’re right! We did NOT mention the venue. Battery Gardens was the name. Battery Park is where it’s at. While I definitely enjoyed what was on offer, I can’t help but be a bit chagrined by what wasn’t there, i.e. Ardbeg, Laphroaig, Glenmorangie, The Balvenie, Glenlivet, Glenfiddich, Lagavulin, Talisker, The Glenrothes, and many many more. I’m sure you’re right about the difficulty in getting brands to sign up for a new event, especially in a hyper competitive markets like New York where they’re constantly doing promotional work. I also think that part of the problem stems from the fact that whisky is HOTT (that’s right, HOTT with two Ts!) right now, so well known brands probably get less impact from events like this. On the flipside, there’s no shortage of new brands out there, so if you can’t get the established brands, why not go for the up and comers? Speaking of up and comers, it was neat to see the Heaven’s Door whiskies at the event. While what I tasted from them was pretty good, it’s the artwork on the bottles that really blew me away. Me likey the pretty shiney packaging!
AK: I’m no Bob Dylan fan, but the artwork on his Heaven’s Door bottles was pretty cool. And yes, H-O-T-T, Baby! That’s what whisky is these days. And I’ve seen the lack of brands at shows here in LA too. It’s depressing. I was at show and there was a winery with a booth. They were pouring a wine that had rested in a bourbon barrel. That might be stretching the product definition a wee bit. I think for Ari & Co. it will be an ongoing effort to bring in bigger names, and if anyone can do it, he can. I can’t imagine the logistics of putting on this type of event and all the tentacles that need slaying.
G-LO: I’m sure it’s a royal pain in the ass to get brands to sign up, and if anyone knows from royal pains in the ass, it’s me. Mostly cause I am one. Kudos to Ari & Co. for fighting the good fight and making our NYC Whisky event in June dreams come true! There’s definitely room for improvement with regards to the whisky selections, but I’d say he nailed it with the venue, venue location, and food. And with regards to the food, I know we talked up the brisket quite a bit (and deservedly so!), but I gotta admit, the Kosher fish dishes on the ground floor were nothing to sneeze at! Love the Salmon Pastrami, and a few of those herring dishes were quite delicious, especially the one with the Israeli spices. Molto molto buono!
AK: OMG!, as the kids say. The smoked salmon and herring from The Rebbe’s Choice. Can I just roll around in that stuff for 7-10 days with crackers nearby? May G-d bless us all with this on our plates. Baruch HaShem. I believe you speak of the za’atar spices which are a must for the home or office. Ask for it by name. Accept no substitutes.
G-LO: You know what would be awesome? Getting Ari’s perspective on this whole Kiddushfest thing which he is definitely turning into #AThing. Do you think two can-do guys such as ourselves can make that happen?
AK: Let me wave my magical barbecue tongs…POOF!
G-LO: Wait… Magic??? I thought magic died when Claudia Schiffer and David Copperfield broke up. Tell us more about these magical barbecue tongs of yours. Can they make a perfectly cooked smoked brisket appear at any time? You know, the kind with the perfectly burnt, burnt ends, bark, smoke ring, and juicy center. Can they also make pitchers of sweet tea and bottles of vintage Port Ellen appear? If so, work your magic, Mr. Blaine, and make that Wandering Que interview magically appear before our eyes! Are you an “Abracadabra” or a “Hocus Pocus” kinda conjurer? Or do you just let your hands and those tongs do the talking? You know, like a Marcel Marceau type. Friggin mimes.
AK: Jeez, I wanted Teller, and I get Penn. Chill, Houdini! Wait for it…
Fade to wavy visual with eerie piano music…

We spoke to organizer and master barbecuer, Ari White, via e-mail on various topics including Kiddushfest, event planning, the Jewish side of whisky festivals, and barbecue!
AK: Ari, great event! We were excited to be there for the first one! How did Kiddushfest come about and what made you decide to jump into the whisky festival world?
Ari White (aka The Wandering Que or TWQ): Going back 11 years, my wife Gemma and I threw our first Kosher whisky festival which grew into a series of catered paired Whisky Dinners, Burns Suppers and the like around NYC. I first met Mark Gillespie at our first one (click the following link and listen to one of Mark’s early podcasts: http://whiskycast.libsyn.com/whisky-cast-episode-134-march-2-2008) where a young newly married me gushes while my blushing bride talks about her grandfather rubbing her teeth with whisky (swirling a Straithisla ’64 in her glass). The events were high end, pour lists epic, and locations varied. It was within the midst of those early whisky dinners that [Whisky Advocate magazine’s] WhiskyFest made their fatal move, and we were connected to Joshua Hatton in Single Cask Nations’ infancy. It was love at first dram, the rest is history.
Editor’s Note: Whiskyfest was held on a Friday night in New York City back in 2012. Since this is the beginning of the Jewish Sabbath, many of the local Jewish community could not attend. Single Cask Nation saw this as an opportunity to bring a high-quality whisky festival to the New York while not excluding the Jewish community by having their new event – Whisky Jewbilee – on a Thursday night initially.
AK: For sake of conversation, let’s assume you’re a whisky drinker (HA!), when did you start your whisky journey?
TWQ: I grew up down in the West Texas town of El Paso. Cheap Mexican beer and tequila were the wet nurses of my youth. In college, my horizons expanded to include bourbon, based more on price point then pomposity, I reckon. At 23, passing through the World of Whiskies in London’s Heathrow Airport as newlyweds, we were tasked with spending a £100 note on our first bottle. The statesmanlike salesman named Michelle spent an hour (at 8:00 am) sampling with us before we settled on a 25-year-old Glenmorangie for 75 quid (he called it a “lady’s dram”) [and] leaving room for a Glenfarclas 17 to boot. He gifted us a leather-encased flask that I still carry for kiddush on Shabbat today.
We called East 109th Street our home back then, across the cultural divide left behind at 96th Street. South of that border, Shabbat and Hashkama [morning prayers] Kiddushes at Congregations Orach Chaim and Kehilath Jeshurun [on New York’s Upper East Side] never ever disappointed with pours the likes of Springbank 33’s, Port Ellens, and countless single barrels of all ages every single week after services, maybe a few times in between, who’s to say?!
AK: What’s your go-to dram?
TWQ: Asking for a go-to dram is like saying what song do I like on the radio. Punk rock of young Kilchomans do me pretty right. With that said I’ve got a finger of Tamdu 001 left as I finish this second question.
AK: Putting together any large event like a wedding, bar mitzvah, or whisky festival takes a lot of planning. After three b’nai mitzvahs in my house, I know! Tell us about your plan of attack for Kiddushfest.
TWQ: Large scale events is what we do, day in and day out, year-round at the Wandering Que and for the last 13 years under Gemstone Catering. The logistics of this beautiful Hudson River waterfront beat the crap out of what we had to go through the last half-decade pulling off Whisky Jewbilee at Studio 450’s penthouse and its one service elevator.
AK: How did you assemble your team and the roles that they played?
TWQ: The team assembled itself when friends and industry colleagues alike stepped up to the plate offering their help in everything from vendor hunting and social media marketing, to day of ticket check-in, and swag bag assembly. It takes a village. With way too many to name, I’d be remiss to not mention Ari and Leah Cohen who just went way above and beyond any level of normalcy to make the evening a success.
AK: Whisky Jewbilee became iconic as a hardcore whisky-centric show. Your amazing food only added to the festival’s high regard in the community. We’ve been to many expensive festivals with pretty sad food offerings that leave us…hungry! But the boys of SCN (Jason and Joshua) have “moved on” from it, leaving a sad void in the festival world. Why do you think Whisky Jewbilee succeeded and how do you see Kiddushfest filling that void to the whisky community?
TWQ: The Jewbilee made everybody happy. The vendors loved the exposure to a knowledgable purchasing market segment that based a year’s purchases on to what they would be informed of that night. The kosher crowd loved access to events of that caliber where they could drink AND eat everything making a $100++ ticket price easier to wash down. #BrisketChaser. The food was always just the hook; it was the bonus of putting on our own festivals. Bless Joshua. The guy is a vegetarian and still enabled my brisket and sausage debauchery every year.
What really set the Jewbilee aside in my book was the accessibility to the brands and their ambassadors in comparison to all the larger or more established festivals already on the circuit. Our crowd was always engaged and curious rather then just on the road to drunken dipshittery. The venue was iconically NYC with 360° rooftop views and cigars to boot. It became the best bang-for-the-buck kosher event in NYC hands down and even when everyone laughed at the Jewbilee for moving to the middle of the summer, nothing could stop us from selling out year after year. I knew we were doing something right when over a third of our tickets were being sold to non-Jewish Kosher keeping guests. It put us nose to nose with the biggest festivals NYC has ever hosted. [With Kiddushfest] even with a space expandable to over 1,000 guests, we are totally set on keeping the size approachable and mob mentalities at bay.
AK: Jewbilee was created as a whisky festival “by and for whisky geeks”. It was an event that whisky brands wanted to be at. What’s the strategy for Kiddushfest to get those names to attend in the future?
TWQ: This was by far and large our biggest challenge this year. With a glut of new festivals popping up every year in both the non-kosher and kosher food scenes, I totally appreciate many brands’ main challenge is choosing which ones bring back the best ROI. Any hope that my involvement in the Jewbilee from its inception would guarantee the same excitement was quickly dashed. With a new location and new name we were on our own and starting from scratch. There were enough vendors excited to not lose this summer event that we had some great momentum from the get-go. With 12 months to plan next year’s Kiddushfest rather then the 12 weeks we pulled the last one off in, I’m excited to say we’ll fill all 40 brand tables with 15 more breweries and ciders outside.
AK: I’ve yet to use the words “Kosher” and “Jewish” (but YOU have!). They are important in the discussion, especially for an event called Kiddushfest. Tell me how you see the cultural and religious aspects to the festival, and your thoughts on bringing in a wider audience.
TWQ: There is a rogue element within the observant world that get together for a quick dram on the Sabbath. They get together between and sometimes just maybe during the prayer services. On the one hand, they often catch flack for the time and place chosen for these rendezvous. On the other hand. they are for many of us, the one short chance to catch up with old and new friends with or without a Highland Park and piece of herring. No different then the Kiddush Club #safespace we built at the Whiskey Jewbilee, Kiddushfest was very [much] modeled around the same Sabbath-like setting complete with Smokehouse cholent, potato kugels and yapchik (mind-blowing, look that one up) [We did… https://www.kosher.com/recipe/potato-flanken-kugel-yapchik-6966]. We aimed to create an environment where friends could get together, without ditching the family or Rabbi’s sermon.
I wouldn’t call the festival a religious one. I do hope that the values that we have tried to embrace show with this [festival] bear fruit. I am proud that we were able to raise $4,000 that evening for our two charity partners. I can’t imagine too many other whisky festivals where a group of 50 guys would go outside at 9pm past the cigar bar and riverside cabana facing east to pray Ma’Ariv – the evening service – before diving right back in for the last 30 minutes of the show. Cholent [Jewish comfort food] is the original melting pot, [and] it fits the NYC scene just fine. I love that we have had such large numbers of women attendees and was thrilled with the large groups of non-Jewish guests as well. I hope it means we are doing a few things right.
AK: Let’s talk barbecue. It’s obvious that this is your happy place being from Texas. Barbecue and Kosher are generally not words you hear together too often! How did you get into it? How did The Wandering Que start? How many events do you do in a year?
TWQ: Shit, Hoss, that’s a horse of another color! Wood smoked BBQ is like home for me, and moving up to NYC all those years ago I got homesick. There wasn’t so much as a lick of smoke in anything they were calling BBQ up here 10 years ago in the kosher world. I’m glad to say those days are done with the fires of southern cooking burning low and slow everywhere. Having grown up in a town without any kosher food (way before the days of Food Network), I am fortunate to play Johnny Appleseed traveling around the Tri-State, smoking up one community at a time before hitting the road to do it all over again. We cater well over 100 events a year with our BBQ and Charcuterie products now going into supermarket and gourmet food stores all over the country. Throw in five kids under the age of 11. Sleep is highly overrated.
AK: You were in Philly the weekend after Kiddushfest. The Wandering Que travels! How do you take your show on the road?! Do you have a food truck type of set-up?
TWQ: I do have two offsite BBQ Setups and teams. One is based around a 7,000 lb. 18′ offset stick burner BBQ pit by Gator Pit in Houston Texas. The other is our new 28′ BBQ Concession Trailer which is a little more closely related to a food truck, just minus the truck part and 3 times the size with an 8′ porch sporting a two ton Hog Cooker from Bubba Grills. And we have spent the last two years installing and building out my new kitchen to operate an Oyler 1300 by J&R Manufacturing in Mesquite Texas. It has an 1,800 lb capacity and runs entirely on burning wood. It’s a game-changer for me and by the Grace of God, I get to turn it on for the first time in 10 days after our final inspections by our local Departments of Building, Fire, and Health.
We travel far and wide hitting street fairs, music festivals, [as well as] private, corporate, and charity events. I run out of china at 700 people and we have served as many as 1,500 over a six-hour service. My pit crew and team are hardcore and I would be remiss (again) to not mention Samba, Joe, One-Stop, Lala, Mario and the STAR-K for being the real superheroes that make really make the magic happen.
AK: Last question for the barbecue nerds: What type of wood is your wood of choice?
TWQ: My favorite wood to smoke with is Pecan leaving me plum outta luck up here. We generally burn oak, cherry, and maple. I love any fruit wood I can get my hands on.
AK: So Kiddushfest #1 (or Echad) is in the books. The gates are closed! How do you think it went? What are the areas you’d like to work on for Kiddushfest #2 (or Steim)?
TWQ: The night’s early piss poor weather forced us to abandon the outdoor space and reset everything upstairs to include the dozen booths and our entire Wandering Que food station. [A] logistical nightmare I’d love to circumvent next year with blue skies, please. With that said, the venue was stunning and [we’ve been] invited back next year already where we are shifting back to the Thursday night model. The vendors seemed thrilled with both the turnout and the level of engagement. An interesting observation one pointed out to me was that at no point in the night did they have an empty table. I look forward to expanding the beer garden next year as well to really take advantage of that outdoor space. With room for another 200 people next year, I also look forward to doubling the numbers of [whisky] on the pour. Small things come to mind: digitized check-in, printed pour lists in advance, much more water on the floor, spit buckets, beef ribs, and world peace. All pretty doable after smokin’ them Beef Ribs.
AK: Amen! Ari, mazel tov on Kiddusfest I and thanks for taking some time to chat. We hope to be there for next year’s and all of the future ones.
TWQ: It’s 2:00 am and my Tamdu is long since turned over, so I’ll wish y’all a hearty l’Chaim and my thanks for all the love along the way, not just this year but for the many past as well. It’s been a great trip so far, I’m excited to see what we get to share together along the long road to come.

Generations Challenge Official Rules!
You can find the original post at https://forums.thesims.com/en_us/discussion/840590/sims-4-generation-challenge-beta I have literally just copied and pasted the post down below and in addition to that I have added my own notes in bold for modifications I have made to personalize my challenge a bit. For rules I eliminated entirely I used the strike through tool. As mentioned in my introductory post, I have reduced my challenge to just 5 generations rather than 10. So when I decided which challenges I should do throughout each generation, I used a random number generator for numbers 1 through 9 to select which challenges I would use for gens 1 through 4. I then used the final challenge (originally gen 10) for my 5th generation.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Official Rules: “This challenge is to make you think of the game differently. The Generation Challenge is similar to The Legacy Challenge, but completely different at the same time. The goal is to make it through 10 5 generations with completely different personalities for each generation and a new challenge to complete with each set of children.
Gameplay Setup
When starting the Generations Challenge it is best to start out by making a new world, if you put your Founder in a town with other pre made sims you can’t play the other sims in that world. You do this by clicking the + at the top of the startup screen in the Sims 4.
Your journey begins in Create a Sim (CAS). Here you begin making your sim. Do whatever you want, the only restrictions are it has to be a young adult and the only sim in the household. Feel free to pick any traits you want, but remember genetics aren't the only thing passed down from generation from generation.
Once you finish up in CAS then you move on to the next part, moving in. Start by picking an empty 30x20 lot. This is not your forever home, you will be assigned to move later in the game (optional). It should cost your sim 2,000 simoleons. The challenge that offered this task was not one of the ones selected by the random number generator so it is not one I will be doing.
Now after all that is decided you must pick your Heir Factors. The Heir Factors decides who will be the one to continue the family into the next generation. Once you pick these you can’t go back. These are based off of the Legacy Challenges Succession Laws.
Gender
Female Only- Females can only be heirs, unless there are no living female children.
Male Only- Males can only be heirs, unless there are no living male children.
Alternating- Going male, female, till the end of the game. I intend to play this with the chance that some sims may be gender neutral so for this challenge, I will be going by biological sex upon birth.
Equality- Heirs can be either male or female.
Blood
Blood Relation- Direct descendant of the parents, unless there are no living blood relation children. I like this option best as I like to see how genetics change over time. Please also note that I have mods (MC Command Centre) that will allow two sims of the same sex to impregnate one another. I haven’t decided if I will be using that feature as of yet or if I will go the adoption route, but I will deal with that when the time comes.
Foster Only- Only adopted children can be heirs, unless there are no living adopted children.
Equality- Adopted or blood related sims can be heirs.
Heir
First Born- The first born child is the heir.
Youngest- The youngest child is the heir.
Friendship- The highest friendship with the parent is the heir.
Pool- All eligible children are randomly drawn to be the heir. I chose this option because I find I will ignore the non-heir child if I know exactly which one will be heir. This will offer the most equal parenting for all children.
Rules
No restarting after a bad event. Quitting after a bad event also gets rid of all the good ones. See how you can fix the mistakes!
No cheats/mods that make give you an unfair advantage. It ruins the fun and also makes it not as a challenge as it should be. I have installed some mods, but I don’t think they are overly beneficial to the challenge. The main one I have is MC Command Centre which allows for many modifications to the game. Some of these that may seem like “cheating” are the child support mod in which the parent of the sim’s child pays weekly child support based on their personal worth - but only if the sims are not living together. I will also be using Risky Woohoo, as I find the vanilla pregnancy mechanics incredibly unrealistic and frustrating. I have allowed a 2% chance of pregnancy for every “woohoo” and a 25% chance for pregnancy during “try for baby.” If you’re wondering why I have made these percentages what they are, it is because I find them the most realistic. Most birth controls have approximately a 70% to 99% effectiveness, but apart from abstinence, no birth control is 100% effective (yet!). So 2% seems to be a good number. As for the 25%, I remember reading somewhere that unprotected sex offers a 30% chance of pregnancy in two healthy, fertile individuals. I know 30% is higher than 25% and often time someone who is trying to conceive has a fairly higher chance due to medical intervention and whatnot, but for this game, I have decided to honour my best friend who has been suffering from infertility for about 8 years now. Additionally, I feel this will add an extra challenge to the game.
No bringing the dead back, you CAN plead the with the reaper though and have ghosts, but nothing else.
Anti-aging potion can only be used once per generation.
You can only have one played household in the world. You can add households in the world for friends, but not spouses.
You can’t move out the heir CHILD once they are elders you can do whatever you would like with them, but you can move out the spares (kids who aren't heirs).
Spouse
When getting married Sims can bring in money, but not so much that it would be like using cheats. If your spouse has a child when you marry them in, then that child MUST move in with your spouse. If that child moves in as anything younger than a teen, it CAN become an heir as long as it fits along the guidelines.
After awhile the dating pool starts to deplete and you CAN bring in some households from the gallery or make them in CAS. Use a random trait generator for the traits. The only rule on doing that is it can have no more than 4 sims in the household. If you would like to help out with the households upload them with the hashtag
#MakeAGeneration
I love this! My 8 year old daughter already claimed dibs on making a sim for me, but if anyone else would like to submit someone, please feel free! But also know that I won’t necessarily use that sim in my challenge. I might add them to the town and even become friends with them, but I won’t necessarily make them a mother/father.
Children
Children, no matter if they are the heir or not, can be introduced into the family through pregnancy or adoption. If a child is adopted they must be an infant. If you are adopting a child their last name must be the same as the family who adopted them. When picking the child's trait and aspiration it must have one similar trait to the mother or father, ex: good trait to charismatic or evil to mean, the two other traits are completely up to you. The aspiration can be anything you believe fit to the child's personality. You MAY NOT influence gender. Any Sim that is abducted by aliens and becomes pregnant has a choice of keeping the child, the child counts as adopted and with whatever your heir rules are may or may not become an heir.
Generations and Generation Challenges
Generation challenges are the mini-challenges that you have to complete before you finish the generation. You have to complete at least 4 of the 5 before the original parent of the generation dies AND the heir grows into a young adult. If your heir is the first born you have less time to complete the challenges ahead.
Each generation is a little bit different, from the challenges, to the entire personality of the children in it. The challenges may grow harder, or may grow easier. You DO NOT have to do the challenges in order. With each expansion pack or game pack there will be a replacement generation where you can carry out the challenge with that generation instead of the one originally listed. If you pick to use the replacement generation and still complete the original generation you will only score with the first 10 generations of children.

Episode # 12: “I Can’t Shut Up to Save My Life” ~ Dana
i am actually trembling. will is so mad at me but it's okay. this feels okay. I'm literally the biggest rat in this series LMAO fkasdjh fuck I feel so bad for Ali rn but I also am....fkadshf really kinda happy idk. I just know a lot of heat is coming my way and Cameron's idols are going to make me pay for this
Everyone is mad. Everyone is crying. Everyone feels fucked over. But um. Everyone is me merge vote and I am everyone merge vote. So. I guess we’re even.
im so sorry
Hi im drunk and im here to say that I almost cried in the club tonight because of how much i miss Will. I just feel really alone and I think everyone hates me, especially owen, and im just trying to be friends n have fun and make it to the end of the game and also win is that too much to ask. IDk I played myself. Also I actually just started crying now writing this yikes. I dont know what to do, I'm never in the minority because usually I just get voted out over all my allies because i'm upsetting. I don't know what to say to people, I don' trust anybody, why is kevin in the game. Does Ashvika actually like me? WHo knows. I'm just happy I wasn't totally blindsided. I knew Will might leave, I knew he was getting votes and I let it happen so I wouldnt get any which makes me a snake ass bitch. I just couldnt believe his vote out stayed so air-tight with the exception of Ashvika letting me know what happened. Idk if this means she wants to work with me, probably not, who would, she didn't respond to my pms after the vote, but i'm trying not to stress. Hopefully I can just continue to be a meme and appear non threatening but I just want some tea im getting thirsty nd also i love to strategize i crave it. Remember... I'm the village idiot? Like I will photoshop as many lizard hidden immunity idols on these people as i need to if these snakos dont vote me out thank u so much. This is the first time in my life where everyone hates me more than I hate myself and i just cannot handle IT.
I...can't believe that worked??? I can't believe I voted in the majority??? ???????????? I'm really happy about this and I hope the Soup alliance (??? where did soup come from) can stick together even if just for one round. The biggest problem is if Cameron or someone else has an idol. Owen told me an idol had gone missing in one of the areas which means someone has already gotten it so we have to tread very carefully if we don't wanna get fucked.
I love filming a 30 minute confessional about the game, where I get upset again over Will hating me and crying over how much I love Owen and Emily. I'm a mess sakdjhfa
You know? No matter what I do in this game, I’m going to be deemed a threat. Even if I don’t do shit. Even if I just sit and take orders. Hm. Well. Here’s to proving people right! If anyone’s upset with me, just know that they woke me up! Threat Emily is here and she’s ready to fucking win.
I love Ali. I love that he's such a good friend and that we're so able to move past things like this - I really do want to go far in this game with him. It's what we deserve. Wouldn't it be cute if Owen got 4th again too <3
this would be a better challenge if we could discuss xo but I think like....there isnt any way we shouldnt win unless someone is intentionally messy. two groups of people, four A's and five B's. no matter how it gets cut, whoeveer starts, one A and one B should end up in the final two with three As and four Bs voting, so someone from B SHOULD win, I think. It just alternates who starts each time, A, B, A, B or B, A, B, A, until yeah one from each is left. and it'll be easy to see who a snake is bc we directly see the lists. I'm more worried about Ashvika and Kevin at this point....but oh well. I also need to be on high alert of getting idoled out this round. Cameron is denying that he has two idols which like....yeah I'd way rather have Ashvika or Emily have one and be lying than Cameron have one, but at the same time I'm just gonna like assume ksadjhf that Cameron has two :) worst case scenario :) so I like?? would think he uses both of them this round maybe unless he is worried more about himself, and also ugh idk like ashvika or kevin could flip or even emily/ali although I think the three of us can trust each other rn. idk yet.
I came in second... again. Woohoo! I love immunity challenges yes I do! :—————) ________________________________________________________________

(This was filmed like 7 hours before the immunity challenge)
The soup alliance is hopefully sticking together!!!! Unfortunately we can't get Cameron out so we're playing some 4d chess mind games tonight. The plan's to vote Ruthie, and then we tell the others...Zach or Cameron, I'm not sure I already forget. Not like they'll approach me about this but you know. My ass will scream if things flip on us because people are rats, double the screaming if it's me who gets flipped on butttt things are looking good so far, but then again I've found that it's when I'm most confident in our plans that I get blindsided.
Welcome to my roundly long confessionals where I, Zachary rae, gives information on the past few days. Before we begin, I should put a disclaimer - this may be the last one! --- Hello fans! So where do I begin. Last vote Dana and Will called me in paranoia and, frankly, they were right! However, on that call I suggested that if the idea of them having majority (or half; 5) was accurate, we may as well just not split and pray for no idols. Dana didn't like that idea, and in hesitation, asked to split the vote 3-2 and... yeah. Bye Will. I was like crying afterwards though cause I genuinely love him and he's a great person and ugh it sucks cause I really wanted to continue working with him and i'm just so disappointed. Moving forward, I made an alliance of four [Ruthie/Zach/Dana/Cameron], entitled "Will's Puppets". In this immunity, it's common sense by any mathematical logistics that one person from each "side" will make final two, and one of them five will win immunity. However, Cameron adjusted our views and just saved Ali and maybe it was because they didn't comprehend what a proper strategy was, or perhaps to build bonds with Ali. In the end, I voted (once again, wow) in the minority and for Emily to win immunity, but Ali came out victorious. Good job for him! Going into tribal it's kind of like... there are 5 people on one side, vs us four. Dana and I talked and it's kind of like... we needed a plan. Ideally, everyone knows that Cameron (and Ali) have an idol. They want Cameron out, I believe THAT part of their expression, but they know he isn't easily struck as he's likely playing his idol tonight. Dana and I realized a good way to escape, since it's probably better to take out one of us, is to get in the good graces of Emily and Owen. I like them both as people, I genuinely do, but in this game they are two of the biggest threats to win. What we are suggesting to Owen is that in the event we take out Ruthie this vote, and then Cameron next, it's final 7 and that's when you need to start realizing who you want to be with in the finale. Dana called with Owen for so long suggesting that if me and her are safe (we're trying to separate ourselves slightly but like saying we both think alike), then we can help him take out Emily at 7. He needs the numbers since Emily is a powerful player. I don't know if he sees value in me but hopefully he likes me cause he thinks i'm funny and I love him. I go to Emily and I say that I will make sure Cameron plays his idol as my piece of leverage to keep me safe. They vote out Ruthie, Cameron flushes his idol and goes next, and then it's FFA at final seven, and I think at that time Dana and I are safe for one vote. Do I want to go to the end with Dana though? HELL NO!! Originally I was thinking I would love to sit with Kevin and Ruthie. If Ruthie goes, then I think i'd want to go with Kevin and Ali. Maybe Ashvika but... i'm not sure. She's just so adorable and likeable but she's not playing strategically amazing like other people. Neither am I though so I can't talk. Do I think Emily's being honest with me though when she leaked that "Ruthie's the vote and she wants to clue me in"? Not at all. I would not be surprised if I leave tonight, and she better be able to justify herself when she lies. She's manipulative and a liar (IN A GOOD WAY I STAN!!) but like I don't vote bitterly, I vote who I think I connected with more and played better, and if you can't justify why i'm the good vote this round (which I truthfully disagree i'm a good vote this round), then you ain't getting my vote. I also think if I survive I can easily go final 4/5. Dana's a bigger threat than me, which is my strategy to align with physically bigger threats so i'm able to slide by like a little snake, and say Ruthie/Cameron leave next, then Dana, one of Emily/Owen and Ashvika even are the big threats. I don't see how I will go unless it's final 4/5 but who knows. I'm not being cocky but that's how I see things, and if they let Dana make it further than me, which is possible, i'll be shocked. I really will be. Also can I just say how much I adore Owen. Dana said he talked about how funny I was and he pmed me saying that i'm funny and hilarious and despite the occurrences in this game, he'd love to be friends and I agree. Though this is a message reassuring i'm probably leaving tonight, I adore him and he has my vote 100% if he makes FTC and I leave. I don't want to leave, but that's the fact. Weirdly - well not weirdly but just... I don't know. I'm troll. I'm just trying to play fun but I really don't want to leave tonight like i'll cry. I've had so much fun and i'm not ready to leave and... ugh. I really want to be here and prove myself because I don't think I have and I don't want to see myself as a flop. Not saying 10th+ is a flop, but saying that I haven't done anything or utilized my All Star spot yet, and it's just... ugh. I'm defeated. I hope I can stay to keep going further in this game but... I don't know. I hope this isn't my last confessional. I really hope I get to stay and... elaborate on my amazing gameplay. Joke, of course, but I do hope I get to stay. please!!! :(
youtube
This could be my last confessional. When I go home tonight and become the long suffering 4th juror I have waited 8 games and lots of failed strategy to become, I just want to say it’s been a fun game and I genuinely love everyone. Tribal is in 3 hrs and I just don’t know how i’m Voting. The biggest meme of all is that I implicitly trust Owen, who I feel is far and away the best player in this game. I told him I don’t think he can get to the end with goats, because they’ll all flip on him, and I think that’s true. He needs other key players as buffers towards the end. Inevitably when the Emily v. Owen power struggle for power, glory, and stardom breaks out, I’d LOVE to be a spectator still in the game. I will vote how Owen tells me tonight, and even though he has promised me i’m not going home, i’m Not sure he’s in the position to promise that. I just dunno. I had such a good talk with him last night and tbh if nothing else that was amazing jury management. He knows I can’t shut up to save my life, and he just let me talk for hours. So thank u for validating my goblin personality. Also he told me he thought I was smart which honestly... my kink thank u. I also talked to Ali for a while this morning, and he says he’s doing his best to keep me and Cameron safe, I believe it idk. Like why lie to me i’m On the bottom and everyone knows i’m an idol-less sad snake, so like no point tbh. The hardest part about playing with him is that I feel like I want him to succeede more than he wants himself to succeede. Like I can’t want it for you, and had so much to work with, I just wish he would own it. He’s like a defenseless almond and I just want him to be a bad bitch ya know? Finally, I’m trying to play with Ashvika here and use the fact that she game me info last round that I “kept quiet” as a bargaining chip to show I can be trusted. Will Ashvika end up as my target or my closest ally u be the judge. Overall I’m so prepared to get voted out i’ve all but made total peace with it. Hopefully I can push through tonight wih my sparkling personality and some wheeling and dealing. ________________________________________________________________ Owen stopped talking to me about the game which means i’m going home. I love watching my own death occur in real time.
thanks for reminding me about the way zach pronounces mario. I know what I'm writing on the parchment tonight.
I..... have no idea what's going on tonight.
THAT WASNT MY LAST CONFESSIONAL BECAUSE.. OWEN AND EMILY ARE SNAKES! (mario)
iiiii feel really uneasy about ashvika for some reason??? idk she keeps asking if we're voting for ruthie, so she could be planning to #flip on us which would be a dumb move, or maybe she's just confused and if that's the case then me too. Owen and I kinda talked about this the night before because we know she's somewhat attached to Dana but like we ain't voting Dana so I hope that's not a problem. And I mean we both voted for Ruthie at the Duncan blindside so like??? I hope she wants to do it again?? I just think any of us flipping now especially would be bad for us and for them. I have secure trust in everyone else in this alliance so like...let's make it through please??? If anyone goes home I hope it isn't Emily because I think her vote negator can play an important role in f8, no matter who goes home tonight. Iiiii just don't want things to get fucked up tonight!!! and i haven't talked to anyone from the other side (i mean they could approach me but yknow two way street and all that) and idk if i should??? bc being too pushy and saying oh yeah we're voting cameron could be a big miss steak???
I can’t be the only one who sees that Owen is aligned with Cameron right?? I thought I would have been one of his closest allies after the duncan voted but he didn’t save me and later chose to save Cameron over ali even though he’s supposedly in the minority, and now he’s vying not to vote Cameron out? I understand he makes some good points but it’s sketchy
im going home bye ________________________________________________________________ I LITERALLY FEEL WHAT IS HAPPENING DSAKSJHF I AM GETTING FLIPPED ON BY EMILY PROBABLY EITHER THAT OR LIKE???? IM GETTING IDOLED TF OUT OF HERE AND I JUST WANNA DIE WHERE IS ALI I NEED TO TALK TO ALI I WAS SUPPOSED TO TALK TO HIM FSDHAFHJ GOD
Day by day, I get closer to voting Kevin as the sole survivor of Athena All-Stars. Congratulations, I played myself, but Kevin played me better.
ali is rlly acting sketchy why :'( i think I'm going home ugh ________________________________________________________________ I dont think ali will idol me and I want 2 scream dfskajhkdjfhkjsdhfjkhsdkjfhkjsdhfkjds
so I won immunity and literally am confessing at tribal and am a mess
Ruthie becomes the 12th person voted out of Athena All Stars in a 5-4 vote, and the 4th member of our jury. You can see Ruthie’s preseason interview here.

My Story- Continued
So it’s now June 28th, 2017 and I see my cardiologist. We’re still trying to figure out what the hell is happening with this tachycardia business. She noticed from when I was in the ER, that my potassium was at 3.5. She wants it more around 4.0. So she upped my intake to 40 meq a day. She said that sometimes if our magnesium is low, we can’t absorb potassium. She had my magnesium levels checked ant they were normal........
I had an echocardiogram and she said that came back just fine too. She said I have slight valve regurgitation but nothing to worry about. They basically keep an eye on that as I get older. Maybe in 5 years, they’ll do another echocardiogram to look at it. She said that my 1st one month long Holter monitor (event monitor) came back fine. They couldn’t find anything abnormal, but that doesn’t surprise me because I never had an event while wearing it. She ordered ANOTHER month long monitor........ She said if I didn’t have an event with it on again they can do a loop recorder which is an implantable device that goes superficially under the skin to record your heart for up to 3 years!
She said if I have an event with the monitor on, I can stop the study short. She said my symptoms may be from NSVT- non-sustained ventricular tachycardia.
On July 4th, I ended up calling 911 because I had an event while sleeping and my husband was not home and I panicked a little. It is always frightening when these things happen. The ambulance came and took me to the closest ER. In the ambulance, my heartrate got up into the 130′s and showed some PVC’s, premature ventricular contractions. Nothing scary. Once in the ER, of course nothing showed up on the EKG. However they did see that my TSH (from my thyroid) was 13.64!!! Normal range is 0.34 - 6.50!! I have never had any thyroid problems before so this was strange. The doctor also was puzzled because my T4 was in the normal range. Usually, with a high TSH, the T4 will be low and signify hypothyroidism (low thyroid).
I saw my functional medical practitioner on 7/14/17 and she said that my labs show nutritional deficiencies and maybe some thyroid issues as well. She wondered if my nutritional deficiencies is leading to my heart symptoms. My PCP said to wait and see what the followup testing shows. She does not want to treat me for my thyroid until they figure out what’s up with my heart. She did schedule me with an endocrinologist, but their soonest appointment is not until November!!
7/19/18. Functional medical practitioner (S) says that I am low in Zinc, Vitamin D, Iron. My thyroid is not functioning properly. Hormones are all bound up, meaning they are working too hard. We had done some allergy testing when I saw her last. She is shocked my allergy tests were not too bad considering my nutritional deficiencies. She advised me to take all of my allergens out of my diet for 28 days and then add one in at a time to see if I have a true allergy. Because sometimes the blood testing for allergies can show false positives.
On 7/31/17 I was driving to work and had an event. I had only been driving for about 5-10 minutes. I felt indigestion and warm. I pulled over and my heart was racing. I got a little dizzy too. I was shaky as well. My husband came to get me and I stayed home from work that day. I started my period later that day. The reason I mention that is because I’ve noticed a pattern that I start my period the day of an event or the day after. Weird.....
I was very happy to have this event because I had my monitor on!! Woohoo! I emailed my cardiologist and let her know. She quickly reviewed my heart rhythm and messaged me saying that my heart rate got up as high as 160 bpm! That is high and I had no idea it was getting that high. She said it is sinus tachycardia, coming from the SA node the normal pacemaker of the heart. Which means it is coming from a “natural” stimuli- pain, anemia, stress, etc. I instantly thought of anemia and nutritional deficiencies. My monitor ended shortly after that with no additional events. I had another event on 8/10/17 while at work, sitting at my desk. This one was not as frightening and not as severe.
The most recent even I had was on 8/23/17. I had not had one in since the 10th and so I thought it was over and done with. I had been on strict multivitamins from S and assumed my deficiencies were better and so I would not have any more events. This one was major and I’m happy Dan, my husband was home to help keep me calm. I started my period the next day. I messaged my cardiologist the next day to let her know. I am scheduled for a treadmill stress test on 9/11. She wants to make sure I’m not having any arrhythmia while working out. My guess is that they are going to see that I don’t and say it is anxiety. She has also tested me for a very rare adrenal disorder called Pheochromocytoma. She said it’s super rare, but does not want to miss anything. Still waiting on those results. I’m starting to think this is a perimenopausal hormonal thing or a thyroid thing. We shall see in November if not before. That’s enough for today- will write again soon!

Sitting down to write today’s post, I spent quite a bit of time looking up all of K-Pop comebacks and dramas scheduled to drop over the course of the month and all I can say, to both music and drama lovers, is: HOLD ONTO YOUR HATS!
I know we’re only 2 days into this month but already I’ve had more fangirl excitement than I can handle. Yong Jun Hyung has just released his first solo track in 4 years and I’m feeling all the feels at the moment. The song is just… The video is… Augh! I need to stop before I let myself get carried away…
So instead of rambling on about music that’s already out, how about I get back to all the music we can look forward to this coming month. The question is, where to start? I mean we have Onew releasing clips from his upcoming SM STATION track with Rocoberry and Oh My Goodness! If you haven’t watched those bts clips yet, they’re just so flipping adorable! I melt from the moment we first see Onew’s beautiful smile. *sigh* The full track and MV for “수면제” (“Lullaby”) is scheduled to drop May 4th.
DAY6 has started their monthly teasing as they prepare for the release of their May tracks and again, I’m feeling all the feels. I swear, I get more excited with each passing month, as I anxiously await the release of whatever musical brilliance they have in store for us. I love the concept of these May photos. They’re so fun and fresh and they just make me think this month’s tracks are going to be the perfect lead-in to summer break. Eeeek! May 8th can’t come soon enough!
Speaking of JYP groups… TWICE has started teasing for the release of their 4th mini album, Signal. The album is supposed to drop May 15th and I can’t wait! Not only does this mean we’ll have a fun new dance to learn but it also means we’ll have new performances to look forward to seeing when they’re at KCON NY in June. Woohoo!
Psy is also teasing the release of his eighth album. With Psy, it’s hard to know what you’re going to get with this release but I can tell you he’s releasing 2 MVs with this comeback. Personally, I’m looking forward to them because I find his videos entertaining and I love seeing what he comes up with next. The album and both MVs are to drop May 10.
BTS has just started teasing for the Japanese release of “Blood, Sweat, Tears” and me being me, I couldn’t help but add the teaser to this list! The video is set to drop May 10 and apparently I’m not the only one excited, seeing as how this trailer has been up about 24 hours and already has over a million views.
On the drama side of things, there’s quite a lot we have to look forward to this month and that makes me happy!
Suspicious Partner is set to start airing May 10 and honestly, I can’t wait! It’s been way too long since Ji Chang Wook was last in a rom-com and this one, with all of its amnesiac murderers and mistaken identities, just seems like it’s going to be a whole lot of fun. I’m not sure how I feel about Choi Tae Joon being in this drama. I’m still not over the awfulness of his character in Missing 9 so I’m a little worried my hatred of Choi Tae Ho will sully my opinion of Ji Eun Hyuk. Hopefully I can let go of the pain of the past and will be able to fully enjoy this new drama. Though now that I think about it, I’m not sure I really have any reason to worry. I mean with Ji Chang Wook around, who has time to be concerned about anyone else???
Ruler: Master of the Mask also begins airing May 10 and though I’m not sure I’m ready to take on another historical drama just yet, I think my love of L may compel me to do just that. But maybe not right away. I’m not sure how well this drama will fare when compared to my love of Rebel: Thief who Stole the People, which is why I may put this one off until after my infatuation with Yoon Gyun Song as Hong Gil Dong fades a bit. I can really only safely swoon over one Joseon era hero at a time. Not that that’s ever stopped me before…
There are actually several more dramas I’m looking forward to watching, once they start airing later this month but if I talk about them all right now, what will I have to write about next week??? To keep myself from getting completely carried away, I’m going to stop here but before I go, I have to throw this out there…
The KPop Mamas and I are starting a monthly drama live chat and we’re inviting you to join us! The first Wednesday of every month, we’ll be chatting about dramas we’re currently watching, dramas we’ve recently finished watching, dramas we’re obsessed with, dramas… Well, you get the idea. We’ll be streaming live on KpopMamas YouTube channel and we’d really like for you to join us! Of course I’ll be posting each chat here, once it’s over, but to get in on the conversation while it’s happening be sure to join us live. Our first chat will be this Wednesday, May 3rd (tomorrow) from 8pm – 9pm CST. Hope to see you there!
TUESDAY’S TEASE: May is Going to be AMAZING! Sitting down to write today's post, I spent quite a bit of time looking up all of K-Pop comebacks and dramas scheduled to drop over the course of the month and all I can say, to both music and drama lovers, is: HOLD ONTO YOUR HATS!

Hey, today was tiring but nice. First period we did absolutely nothing in econ which was awesome, so no work woohoo. In my 3rd period, the Link Crew class, I gave Lauren the gummy bears and she was surprised about it, probably from the amount. She said I rock or something, I forget, but that made me happy to hear and to see a big smile on a friend’s face. She said she could not eat them because she had to take professional pictures later, though I had no idea why she couldn’t, maybe because she doesn’t want to mess up her teeth. I asked her if she has ever met anyone who has never had oatmeal, she took it as me saying I have never had it, she was shocked, but I explained that I was referring to my friend Andrew, I told her that I brought some for him and she said it was sweet. I do not want to sound narcissistic but I love getting complimented, we all do, but I especially do by friends and it gives me this warm feeling inside, because I am so used to insults from my family and feeling unappreciated, it is a nice change of pace to be appreciated and given compliments to. But anyway I talked to Mr. Riley about the Texas situation and he said it may be good, he said that he loved Texas, probably because it was cheaper, but you know he probably had some good experiences there. When we did PAWS announcements, Maria had to leave for physical therapy for something, but before she left I gave her the hug I didn’t get to give her when she gave me a ride, it was nice. In my 4th period Art class, I brought Andrew some oatmeal because he said on Friday that he has never had it, when I told him, he did not want any. Oh and JJ was being an ass by throwing a pen at me, which I promptly threw back but he retaliated by doing the same.So I left it at that because I did not want to be bothered, he was acting like such an ass for no reason, I wanted to kick him. My 5th period, Spanish, was ok, Maddie was sad, because from what it sounded like from her questions of why people had to be jerks, was that some in her musical class were being rude to her. SO I said that it happens that you have to just ignore them, they are unimportant, there was a saying I wanted to use but I forgot it, it still escapes my mind. She said she appreciated the sentiment. Oh and David and I both helped her with her U5L2 Spanish vocab that we were all working on. She really appreciated it. For some reason I got a 33% on it even though I got most of it right, like wtf? Whatever I will redo it some other time, maybe tomorrow. I also got picked up by my mother after school after talking to Ms. Kooi about the SAT test, man, it is so much fucking work to prepare for college, I hope you understand. Oh and since Nina, my older sister, got her food stamps, her and our mother got a few groceries and stuff, they got me a sandwich. OMG I just have to say that the three of my most favorite foods are: pasta, stew and sandwiches. The rest of the day went well, the cuttings are drying fine, I think one more day will do perfectly, oh and my father washed my face today as usual, well he does it every other day, and it sucks because my acne sucks. It is so lame, I am so jealous of all the people, mostly girls, who have such great skin, I have no idea how you girls do it but you have to tell me dammit lol. Well anyway it is late so night!
