so at first,

you definitely should add some more story to him. so far, if I'm being honest, he feels a bit too plain to me. but oh boy, what a potential I see here!

omg look at him! such a hypocrite! how smart it is, to put all blame on MC while being just as (actually even more) sinful. and he sure hides well; it's your fault, isn't it? oh you and your sinful mind.

buut despite him not really being my cup of tea, I still do like a good old concept of ugly insides, hidden behind a beautiful shell (if that's the vibe you were going for).

Micah seems so pure, so holy, almost like an angel (you played smart by adding a lot of white in his design) – but behind that pristine facade? he's ugly. and that shell eventually starts to crack, because no matter how pure he may seem, Micah is just as human as we are, and definitely not a good one. and what are we, if not a bunch of cruel, egotistical animals? and deep inside he's exactly that, sickeningly human. with that in mind the very first comic you did abt him is actually pretty hilarious to me. your desires? what about his desires, which are strong enough to ruin your whole life?

I kinda feel like he's also a little pathetic in his own way; if he can't make you fall for him, he will break you. isn't it like a very cowardly move? he wants you badly enough to use whatever method it may require to have you, but will never admit it.

but let's talk about that strange desire to destroy MC's purity. why? to make you just as dirty as he is? cute, but doesn't seem like a full explanation to me. he's a priest, right? and even despite those dark insides of his, I feel like Micah still kept at least some of the priest mindset. I mean, they're raised and taught with a very strict discipline. so I feel like deep down, he feels bad (not ashamed, but in a "how dare they" way) for his attraction to you, and punishes you for that attraction. it's not your fault, of course, but who cares? you managed to destroy his perfect, clean facade, which he was methodically building for his whole life with simply your existence. isn't that unfair? so now you must fall into the depths of hell with him.

I like how we can't justify him. Micah is perfectly aware of what he is doing. and of twisted nature of his feelings too, I think, yet still chooses to indulge in his desires, even if it hurts you, the person he was supposed to love and cherish. he makes me feel an absolute, poetic rage, and I love a character I can hate. (don't get me wrong, it meant to be a praise)

and I absolutely adore his design. also if I was on point with the idea you meant for him, that is wonderful too. if a character makes me feel something, I like that character. but girl, you really should add more details about him. because everything I've written here is, basically, just my own brainstorming and bare theories. Micah needs to have more meat on him for a full character analysis >_>

what if MC wasn't in any way pure? what if they're a complete opposite of that word? count it on my love for hunchback of notre dame

unlike the nun MC, I suggest a MC who fully embraces their sins. like an evil succubus, they enjoy the joys of being tainted. they know what influence they have on their dear Father Micah, and isn't ashamed of that. I feel like that would make a pretty interesting story

I do agree with him being a bit under developed at the moment. Micah was a bit unfortunate as in he was never meant to be an actual character. He was just a momentary creation who existed for me to study color theory. A beautiful man of flowers who didn't have an identity.

Then he joined the cast when I was busy with working on commissions and the 5k celebration comic so I didn't have the time to draw his introduction comic with the things I had planned for him, though I've been trying my best to explore him a bit more thru asks like this one. The fact that I don't want to spoil the stuff I'll draw in his comic is also holding me back a little.

I think Micah is evil, but not completely bad. A man who was born twisted, who was raised into goodness, and even with all the love he received never truly got rid of his inner darkness, but just once, just for one moment, I think he had good in his heart. And that is when he first saw you.

With all his twistedness, all his evilness, all his darkness, I think that love he felt for you was truly pure. Because in his eyes you appeared truly beautiful, like a pure lily.

But Micah isn't a pure man, neither does he want to be. So he prefers to pull you down to his level, so that you two can be sinful together. A truly impure way of feeling that pure and innocent love.

I have gotten asks about him with a more rowdy darling, one who isn't a nun or one who is more sinful. I've been really brainstorming about it but I don't think it would work. Not because I personally can't force the story into being like that but because I think it was just not meant to be like that.

You see I do come up with the characters, but I don't control their actions. If the character is unwilling I can't shape the story to my will. Because that story is their life and they control it. The best I can do is to try to fill the gaps I can.

I might prefer submissive yanderes, I might want Micah to have a more sinful darling instead but it wouldn't be Micah's story anymore. That's one of the reasons why he's so different from the rest of the boys. I'm not super into very dominant guys, I could probably count the ones I have with one hand, it wasn't my intention for Micah to be the way he is, but I don't think he could've been any other way.

Micah was just meant to be manipulative, a gaslighter, a dirty man who'll pull anything to push you below him.

I guess me looking at my stories from an actual novel or manga perspective also contributes to this. Father Micah exists to shine with a darling who he can soil.

Now the darling can maybe go against him in the future, she might rebel or give in to his sinful ways, but that's a different story.

It would take quite some time for Aventurine to move from the pre-relationship stage with you. Will dance around the subject, throwing hints and flirty remarks but as for making an actual move? Oof.

But seriously, he really wants to be sure that you like him before making a move. That you like him, not his money, not the idea of him. At least that's what he tells himself. And while this is part of the reason, the actual thing is that he's simply... confused. He's already more vulnerable around you than he ever was around anyone else. And dating means being even more vulnerable.

It would take some time for him to get used to being in relationship. In the previous post I've mentioned that he, most likely, had some short flings in the past. I seriously doubt that he ever had any serious relationship before you though. It's so new to him. At first it would seem like nothing has changed between the two of you at all. Surprisingly, it looks like he even became a bit more distant.

Mini spoiler for his leaked character story, but there is a moment there when he looks at the aventurine stone Diamond gave him and he realizes that despite the fact that he worked so hard for it, now that he has it, it holds no real value since it doesn't fill the emptiness inside of him. Logically, he knows that this won't happen with you. He loves you too much. But there's this subconscious fear inside of him that he's just so messed up inside that he simply would not be able to love you like you deserve.

Be patient with him, this mans doesn't know what he's doing. Don't give up on him and he'll crawl to your side, holding onto you for dear life.

Once he will calm down a bit, he'll make it up for all those times when you were the one reaching out to him. Texts you, calls you, arranges spontaneous dates.

In the beginning of relationship would spoil you with expensive gifts. He knows what it's like to have nothing so he doesn't want you to ever feel this way. And the best way to prevent it? To make sure that you will have anything and everything. Maybe it's a subconscious way to bribe you. Maybe. Not like he realizes it himself.

Acts all clingy, playful and unserious but actually listens to your every word and is ready to fulfil your every need.

Is actually very caring. Shows his care by pestering you and easing you tho.

If you feel down, will sit stay by your side. May randomly start tickling you, if you're ticklish. If not, will find another way to touch you in a playful and somewhat annoying way. After you cheer up a bit, Aven will put his chin on your shoulder and hugs your waist, softly asking what happen and why is his dearest darling seems sad.

As for kisses. Aven will loooove covering your face with butterfly kisses. And not only your face. Will randomly grab your hand and kiss your knuckles and fingertips. If you've made a mistake of exposing your shoulder then be ready for it to be kissed endlessly.

Adores kissing those parts of your body that are usually covered with clothes. It feels fore intimate for him.

And if you have freckles or/and beauty marks. Oh well. Will trace them with his fingertips, connecting them with some invisible lines and sometimes gasp playfully, saying that he found his constellation. Just a silly little guy being a silly little guy.

So touch-starved it's unreal.

Has very mixed feeling about his tattoo being kissed. Would feel... weirs if you would kiss it during your casual cuddling session. He exposes it for the world to see, yes. But still, when it attracts attention of someone who knows the meaning behind it... Makes him a bit tense, it catches him off-guard. However, if you kiss it after a lovemaking session or when he shares some painful memories with you, he will feel reassured.

Will slowly start crawling out of his shell when he's with you. Before he only shared some brief memories of his past with you, now he'll start slowly opening up about other, much more painful stuff.

It still happens randomly and out of the blue. He remembers something, he tenses up. But now, instead of repressing this feelings, he shares them with you.

Don't push him too talk, he'll slowly open up on his own.

Loves waking up next to you. Especially if you're still asleep. Seeing the sun shining on your face fills him with love and tenderness. Only with you by his side he feels truly safe.

I have a random idea for some sagau crack loosely based on my dynamic with my friend so Im giving it to you because I have been enjoying your sagau language stuff :D

Imagine there are two readers that are two different people. Like, not as in clones they are just two separate people that are rlly good friends on earth. They both really like genshin and play the game, and they both have self aware teyvat citizens. Reader 1 is a whale. They invest a l o t of money on the game, have all the characters, and all the characters have five star weapons. They are like the usual sagau reader you see. They have used up so much money on getting all of the characters, and I mean A L L of them, best weapons, constellations and put a lot of care into it. The place where they really get to show off is their knowledge and love for the lore, and are really invested into it and read all of the artifact descriptions and books. They know about primordial one, the four shining shades, random useless facts about items and often rant to reader 2 about their theories. Their quest bar is always empty because they did them to check out the lore of the game, and are always searching for more lore. They basically play everyday and are always reacting and talking to the characters out loud, unaware that they can hear them.

Meanwhile, Reader 2 is a f2p who is only interested in the archon quest lore and the lore of their fav characters. Because they are f2p, their options are limited so there is some blatant favoritism. They choose their fav character to save up for, and then pull for them. After they get the character they want, they will no longer pull and save up from there. Because of this, they only have like 5 five stars and only have zero five star weapon. Their favourite character is their main(*cough* wanderer *cough*), and unlike reader 1 who uses all of their characters regularly, reader 2 sticks to this character for most of their gameplay unless they need to use someone else. However, reader 2 takes almost an entire month to finish building a character, because they go overboard with the artifact stats. You would expect to normally have a 50 180 crit ratio, but reader 2’s dps characters always, and I mean ALWAYS have 50 200 crit ratio or more. Like, their main (it doesnt have to be wanderer but Im putting him here anyways) has 70 and 200 crit ratio, is crowned, full 4 pc best in slot, and is even crowned and faruzan only needs like 200 er but reader 2 gave them 300. (Im totally not putting this here because this is what I did/j) Reader 2 is also the type to never speak while gaming, so the first time they spoke everyone turned it into a national holiday to be celebrated. They also play a lot less than player 1. Player 1 plays everyday while player 2 plays for a month straight and then takes a long break to wait for the content to pile up.

So these two gremlin besties are always speaking with each other, and are always on coop. Whenever player 1 needs help making team comps or building characters, they just ask player 2 for help. And whenever player 2 needs help understanding the lore of the game, they ask player 1. But all I can think abt is the first time they cooped. Imagine player 1 was using childe and then when the coop starts, both childe and wanderer are very confused as to wtf is going on. Like, childe is confused because he sensed a strange aura coming form them like whenever someone gets controlled by reader 1, and wanderer is confused because reader 2 seemed so excited that they were talking, but its just childe? Reader 2 always skips childe’s banners.

obv the for-the-lore player picked up on it first, and by the time the trickle-down effect happened, where characters/NPCs were outright talking about these gods, the 2nd was asking the lore knower to explain lol

the 2 gods kept getting referred to by a few names, like ��The Soldier and the Scholar” or “The Sage and the Warrior” or “The Keeper and the Pursuer” etc.

after awhile of comparing both of your games, you realize that some vision users/gods tend to use the soldier/warrior/pursuer titles more often when talking about one of you, and the other gets the sage/scholar/keeper more often

u both get excited, maybe its bc you chose diff travelers or some other reason, but when u try and post abt it or otherwise ask other players u get a lot of negatives/”hasnt happened for me”s??

u both just think the games glitched or some dev is playing a prank on you two maybe,

it gets weirder when u both realize the lore player be over here getting random gifts from all the characters in the mail all the time

and just as grinding players like “ :’( my favs don't like me?? but they have the best artifacts and maxed friendship levels..”

they get flooded with multiple gifts from their main characters, most of which benefit the grind tbh lmao (like a bunch of cheaper materials or crystals to level up artifacts/weapons or to ascend that character = no more slaughtering every samurai on sight for their handguards or collected a fuckton of those blue layered mushrooms for wanderer)

god u were both grateful to this glitch ngl, it saved a lot of dumb misc tasks and was just a nice touch

no but the amount of confusion inside the game from when u first started playing together, like each of ur games began with stuff abt 1 god, then as u co-oped moved onto 2 gods (like said at the beginning)

the lore player is blabbing away like you do, which begins to be heard by the other player’s game world

like it starts as whispers in battle, then all the time, then a quiet convo in the background all the time, until they can just hear u out of earshot esp word for word when they focus!! at first the vision-users/gods got all excited bc their god was speaking!! finally!!! until I'm sure they heard narration that didn't fit/it was there sometimes even when their god’s presence wasn't?/voice sounded “off” to them/didnt fit their god…??

along with sending copies of any lore books that player 2 has gotten that player 1 hasn't!

and it becomes common/tradition to exchange gifts like this to thank or appreciate the other god, like player 1 characters sending thank you gift copies of rare materials or ascension stuff that player 1 had that player 2 didn't (esp making sure to send during resinless hours lmao)

overall, 10/10, whats better than 1 god that plays one way? 2 gods that compensate for each other and now u have 2x the worshippers

(i wonder how meeting alternate versions of themselves would go, bc id like to headcanon that each of ur behavior towards them/ur unique influence has changed them a bit comparing, like they arent carbon copies anymore, not like they used to be…)

Hello Bash! And of course!!! I’ll do both, because I’d love to extend my writing repertoire~ It’s my first ever time writing for a plus sized reader too, so I hope I can do that justice!

Request: Comforting a Plus Size Fem Reader  Featuring: Sanji, Robin; Fem Reader Content Warning: Sad and Bittersweet Feels, Talks of Body Insecurity

Sanji 🕒

Sanji adores you, and when I mean adore, he adores every part of you. Hence, it pains his poor heart so much if you even say the slightest mean thing about yourself. As such, when he catches you talking to yourself in a bout of self loathing, on how you should get thinner or force yourself to go on a diet, he drops everything to tell you no.

“My love,” He grabs your hands with gentle firmness, “Please don’t say those untrue things about yourself.”

When you shake your head and tell him no, that no matter how much he praises you, you'll never be worthy of him because of how he looks, Sanji becomes determined to uplift you to the highest. 

“Please, don’t say that. I have seen and met all kinds of women, and while they deserve the utmost respect, it is you whom I cherish and love with my entirety. The thoughts you feel right now are roadblocks, and I plea you can see yourself as the way I see you: the most beautiful, gorgeous woman I have laid my eyes upon, and have the privilege to be in love with."

And with tears in your eyes, you admit that you are hungry, and yet feel like it will hurt you terribly if you avoid eating.

“I understand, mellorine, so it would be cruel to leave you starving like this,” Sanji asserts otherwise, “tell me again the meals you love:  if it’s something you crave, I will happily serve it to you."

Like a faithful waiter, Sanji escorts you to a chair and lays out a long white cloth over the table. Soon, Sanji went to work in the kitchen, and within a moment's time you could grasp the pleasant smells of spices and aromas. 

"Bon Appetit." He says with a smile, "To love yourself, it also means to love what you enjoy. Never feel ashamed of that."

Sitting opposite you, Sanji feels a glow of satisfaction growing in him as he watches you feast on his meal. The flavors were impeccable: succulently savoury, delightfully spicy, and a freshly nuanced umami. Dessert follows, and the sweetness within hits all the right spots; it was like Sanji's love for you manifested in a wholesomely sweet treat. 

"Did you enjoy the meal?" Sanji asks, and when you sing your praises of the wonderful course you had, pink hearts replace his eyes as he melts in love.

"AHH~ MELLORINE~ COMPLIMENTED MY MEALS~!!!! I WILL FOREVER COOK FOR YOU~ MELLORINE~!"

Ridiculous as this sight was, how Sanji twirled around like a sing-song simp, he incites in you what was originally a giggle that became a profoundly lovely laugh. 

After returning to a cooler composure, Sanji offers to take the dishes from the table. Before you can do anything, he hugs you from behind.

“Please never think so lowly of your body, mellorine.” He reassures, "It's a gift from heaven above, and I will never let you feel as if it's not enough, and that you have to change. You're perfect, and I love you so."

Robin 🌸

Although it is on a different plane of context, Robin understands the feeling of being insecure about herself: how she once believed that she was a burden and an unnecessary baggage for her crew. But now she knows better, and she’s going to love you like she was loved, perhaps even more.

She was about to enter your room with the intention of inviting you to tea when she opens the door and catches you sulking on your bed, the fatigue from your ruminating thoughts apparent all over your body. When you let her sit on the edge of your bed and put a hand on your shoulder, concern grows on Robin's face.

"Are you alright, dear?" She asks, and she frowns when you tell her no and begin a vent: that you cannot stand the sight of your body, that it is not good enough for her, and that you wish you could change your appearance entirely and leave what was left behind. It aches Robin to hear this - not only the false sayings you believed but also the way you could burst into tears because you were trapped in this valley of insecurity that blocked you from seeing how beautiful you are, and how much Robin loves you in and out. 

Stroking her slender fingers down your hair, Robin's voice grows more mellow and comforting, "no, the thoughts you are thinking and saying... they are simply not true." She gently helps you sit up, so she can hold your face with a firm gentleness, "I know what it's like to feel like you are undeserving of love because of the insecurities you have... but please remember that I love you dearly. That everything about you and your body is no burden to me."

Her hands slide back to your shoulders, as if she was asking if you'd like a soothing massage, "In fact, I absolutely do adore your body. Would you like me to show you how?"

You nod, and Robin instructs you to lie down on bed as you lay on her lap. Robin manifests her devil fruit powers, and two pairs of hands appear, one pair rubbing your forehead to soothe your headaches in circles, and the other pair feeling through your body from head to toe, paying the most attention to your torso and hips. Her hand work was tender, the kind that would be perfect for tending to flowers as she kneaded your curves with a gentle sort of love. With that, you were assured you could trust Robin that she would give your body the best of care.

Slowing down her massage, Robin leans down, her bright eyes like a light at the end of a tunnel. Her defined nose nuzzles against yours, as if she was about to bring you into a kiss.

“Please, my love, please remember that you do not have to force yourself to fit a mold. You’re perfect as you are, and nobody or insecurity should tell you otherwise.”

thing abt my interpretation of hank and norm (with a dash of lucy)

plz feel free to comment on it if you want, but this is usually how i think of it when i'm writing their dynamic. i'm gonna kinda go step by step through ep 1 + beyond commenting on things i noticed.

it's all under the cut bc i yapped too much lmaooo. i love dissecting family dynamics, but also plz feel free to comment on this if u want.

i think like, yes, they don't fully get along. and norm is often seen as lesser compared to his sister. and hank does likely compare norm to lucy all the time, leading to some resentment within norm. norm clearly does love his dad, though, since he's staring at the photo of him on that balcony. norm misses hank, even if he does get mad whenever he's compared to lucy.

but, i still think hank loves him, which is important!! he teases norm during the wedding dance scene, and he hugs him tightly when they're dancing. it's one of my favorite gifs (it's funny as fuck to me) because hank ruffles his hair and norm puts it back. norm could easily walk away, but he stays because it's his dad, and they do care about each other. or at the very least put up with each other.

there is an argument to be had that norm sticks around hank for appearance sake. but norm doesn't seem like the type to go along with things he doesn't really want to do. so i'm not sure about that.

norm's willingly being a bit of a prick in episode one too. he's not helping set up, he's trying to tease lucy (and probably stress her out) like siblings do. hank is stern during this, yes, because norm is being stubborn. they're both being shits tbh. norm moreso. and i don't blame hank for being like. son please stop stressing out your sister who is getting married today.

i love norm being a little shit. i think he deserves to be a little shit more. he keeps this trait up when he antagonizes chet for being a coward and i fucking love him for it. my baby boy you are such an asshole when you're upset i love you.

they're all playful with each other, at least a little bit. but i think a key thing is that norm willingly is a little shit to his family (possibly for attention? possibly because it's against the grain and he enjoys it?). he comes to regret it in later episodes, since i think he sincerely misses his family and wishes that his last interactions with them weren't traumatic, for one, as well as annoyed. because he was ANNOYING THEM!!

imo, hank says that lucy's the future (i forget the exact line at the wedding...) because lucy's getting married! i too was like. wow why no norm. but norm's not getting married and isn't about to reproduce. at my aunt's wedding my grandfather didn't mention my mom, or her sisters. just my aunt! maybe it differs depending on people, but i mean. it is lucy's wedding. so i don't really see much there.

lucy putting norm into the storage box thing because she loves him and knows he isn't a fighter. knows he's traumatized by almost being killed. so she keeps him safe. ugh. i love their dynamic a lot. anyways-

i think the "you're my world" line is interesting... like, what about norm? but, before then, when hank and lucy run towards the door, we don't know what they're saying. i am going to choose to believe that hank cares about his son enough to ask lucy where he is. hank doesn't have to be like "you and norm are my world" because norm's not there, and he knows norm is safe already. he cares about norm, but it was lucy's wedding and lucy's there with him and moldaver. (and she's also the main character...) it is weird that lucy never mentions him outside of the vault setting but tbh the writers had a VERY limited timeframe/number of episodes to get their story across so i don't really pay it much mind.

hank in the vault tries to be as kind as possible . the vault values good deeds. if he treated norm super poorly, i don't think people would keep electing him as overseer. they'd elect betty, probably, since hank is now a big red flag. i don't think norm would be the type to hide if he was being affected severely by his dad. and there's only like 100 ish people in the vault anyways, someone would catch on.

there is the argument that the rest of the vault doesn't care if norm's being lectured by hank, or if hank is being stern on him to get him to comply, because the rest of the vault doesn't really care about norm as a person. i think people do care about norm and what norm says. the vault values good deeds, as wilzig said, and so i think inherently they are all caring people. if they had empathy for the raiders who killed some of their own, they'll have empathy for norm!!! so i don't really think hank is super hard on norm, at least not until after season 1.

i could imagine hank in his current state yelling at norm. saying he's a failure, and just wanted him to go along with what everyone else does. that he wanted norm to comply. that he wasn't supposed to break all those rules. but i don't think that'd really happen pre-season 1. norm was a little weird, but hank still cared about him. however i do want to see their current iterations interact it'd be angsty as fuck.

he's strict on norm, yea, because he has a super rigid worldview of how norm can act. norm must get a good job in the vault, and norm must love it. norm must find a woman and have children and continue the legacy of the macleans. norm's the one who would keep the surname. norm is the heir to the maclean name. so, norm does need to eventually step up and at least procreate. he'll probably get "randomly selected" for the triennial trade.

but i don't think hank hates him. hank is disappointed in him, but he LOVES HIM.

i think hank could be a little neglectful. he's a busy man, running a whole vault. but also, lucy seems very self motivated at all times. i feel like she'd latch onto the things she was taught in school and comply. norm never really did that, maybe the loss of his mother jaded him from the start. maybe he does remember the surface, just a little bit, and doesn't feel like he fits in. or, he's just naturally stubborn and doesn't want to follow what everyone else does.

whenever i'm writing them, i try to keep this all in mind. hank still cares about him, he cares about him significantly. they have personalities that just don't mesh. hank is interesting to me because he presents himself so... pathetically? like he can't hurt a fly? simultaneously, he's a strong leader that guides the vault well. and the people go crazy for it, the vault falls apart without him. but, ithink it could be a facade to make sure no one becomes suspicious of the things he's done. but he also believes he did the right thing!!! bringing norm and lucy back, to him, was the right thing, even if he had to kill his own wife. she wasn't his wife when she stole the kids. she was going to get them killed (in his mind).

and, i think he keeps this facade up in 33. he'd try to be the best dad possible so that people have the confidence that he's the best overseer possible. if his son wants to do nothing, then so be it! he's also got this rockstar daughter who likely gets more attention. he'd definitely try to push norm to a job he'll enjoy, and maybe do the cringe dad thing of trying to set norm up. he'd try to mold him into a gold dweller, but it's not like norm is devoid of good deeds. he's still liked in the community, so hank would consider it a win.

i don't think norm would mind that too much. he doesn't really get along with them too much anyways, they're too jovial for his liking. but they all love each other regardless! they let him sit at book club and play holotape games. they don't have to do the same things, but they at least can exist in the same space.

imo, norm's main mental conflicts are: 1. he wishes he wasn't mean/a coward to his family the last time he saw them 2. he wishes hank wasn't trying to mold him into a good vault dweller (i.e. getting a constant job and stuff).

i'm up for commentary on this because i know there are different perspectives but i just. idk. as someone with a rough relationship with my dad, i relate to norm but i can tell that there's still familial love there yknow?

really want more norm and lucy interactions in season 2, or maybe more norm and hank interactions? this could all be proven wrong the next time they interact but i just rly enjoy dissecting family dynamics.

ALSO i'm not a hank apologist 😭😭😭 he's an evil man but i think there's a lot of nuance to his character, especially when i'm writing him in the vault setting.

6. which ship fans are the most annoying?

I’m going to be extremely biased here and not hold back, Kou and Nene shippers. I have nothing against the ship itself but the way the shippers vehemently deny Kou’s attraction to men (which they don’t have to do bcuz Kou also likes women) and Mitsukou’s canon status really irritates me. A couple of them have also commented abt their ship on my Aoi x Nene posts which bugs me bcuz like,,,why mention a straight ship on a lesbian ship post?? And honorable mention, people who hate Hanako x Nene bcuz of the SA and then proceed to ship Hanako with Kou…as though Hanako doesn’t also make Kou uncomfortable by bringing up perverted things around him. They promote it as an healthier alternative but if they hate HanaNene bcuz of the SA then shouldn’t they not want Hanako to be with anyone at all??? He is the problem in that situation. Oh and Aoi x Akane shippers who write off Aoinene have just about gotten on my last nerve

Hmmmm I don’t actually hate characters that often, and when I do it’s usually because of their canon behavior as opposed to the fans. But I will say Nakahara defenders made me hate him 10x more than I already did. HIS CHARACTER.

i feel he, as a character, is quite childlike in the sense he just does whatever strikes his fancy because that’s what he wants to do. but he’s also very calculating and subtle to not show potential weaknesses. i wouldn’t be surprised if he’s gone through a lot of trauma overall, though, seeing how he seems to dissociate from himself, going so far as to think he’s “above” humans, as if he himself isn’t one (and yet, he is also very human, in an almost raw sense – his interest in kate as his “favorite” shows that he is not actually that capable of letting go of worldly attachments, and he is drawn to the idea of the “impure” in his birthday epilogue, when he smeared berry sauce on kate’s cheeks and wanted to keep his eyes on that).

interestingly, how his childlike front and calculating personality interact is something we can witness in one go when we can look at his relationship with food. he probably has had some form of food trauma (e.g. dealing with assassination attempts via poison in his food), as he seems to need to see others eat the same food first before he himself eats. but he doesn’t ask this directly, instead phrasing it like an invitation for the other to eat first. in this way, he doesn’t have to put himself in a more vulnerable state than the other. he eats with proper table manners while dining with crown “out of consideration,” but he prefers to eat messily, likely as an act of rebellion…could he have been in a very controlling environment when he was young?

this could in turn spur him on to be controlling of others in the present. i don’t think he is incapable of love like he claims, but i do think his sense of love, thanks to what could be growing up in a controlling environment, is inherently warped. i mean, if we look at dari and his relationship with ring…i don’t think it’s that darius doesn’t hold any “love” for ring — he probably thinks it’s a form of love in a way — and i think ring does need darius in the sense that darius is the one who can provide him stability and validation. when ring is hesitant to do something, he turns to darius. if darius thinks it’s alright, then ring does too. but also, darius is arguably very controlling over ring and manipulates him too. could be abuse, if we’re speaking bluntly. (one that i think, in a sense, ring can feel too.)

RELATIONSHIP WITH KATE.

so if we extend from that logic, i think his relationship with kate would get a bit twisted and gnarly as time goes on, when kate starts to become more than a “favorite” that darius sorta likes to coddle over like a pet. he seems to hold some yandere tendencies fs over kate — which goes further to show his sort of controlling nature. hell, he joked abt shipping her to germany. darius calm down! we can discuss this ,,!

anw it’s probably more so a relationship where kate chooses to “fall” along with darius. stuck in this cycle of trying to prove love exists to him and whatnot. or, i think it would be cool for it to sort of be that way. i know it’s an otome game, but also i think i kind of like the idea of sort of exploring a more complicated relationship, where whether it’s really truly romantic in nature is sorta left more vague and up to interpretation.

at the moment, though, from what i can glean from these two…kate seems to want to get along with darius, yk, like she would want to do for others. she sort of wants to treat darius as an equal, even though she is a bit cautious of him, very understandably so. she doesn’t seem that afraid of approaching him as a whole, though she also expresses some dissatisfaction at him sort of treating her like a pet and whatnot. however, it feels like in the end, it’s always him who gets the last word. they also seem to be opposites in the sense that darius doesn’t believe in love, while kate believes no one can truly live without love, to which darius says to “prove” that love exists. so maybe there’s a bit of that opposites attract sorta vibe going on too?

basically, kate can either “prove” love to darius, or the “poison” darius imbues in her will act on her first. perhaps that’s a matter of time.

Theory: Brooklynn talked to N5 before leaving

The finale leaves many things implied or even confusing – in a way that makes it seem like something happened, especially between the scenes where Ben warns Brooklynn about the Bumpy's egg in the suitcase and the scene where B leaves. I invite you to rewatch the final scene, so it will be easier to understand what I say:

It is implied that Brooklynn had a conversation with the Nublar 5 off-screen, hidden from the viewer. The implications of the scene:

Ben is the one who talks about Bumpy's egg, so he obviously put himself in front of his friends. In the next scene, we see the position of each of the boys and girls: in front, Ben (who talked about the egg in the case), behind him, Darius and lastly, Kenji, then we have Sammy in ahead of Yasmina. Keep Brooklynn's reaction finding out about the egg in mind, I'll talk about it later.

Although Ben asks for the egg, the one who has it in his hands in the last scenes is Kenji. It's not Ben, who loves Bumpy more than anyone, or Darius, who is Brooklynn's best friend. She decided to give the egg to Kenji, proving that:

A. Maybe she trusts him more than Ben or Darius (understandable, since Pincus didn't do what she asked and D left her with the Allo, but it would be a bit strange for the scene, don't you agree? After all, Ben is Bumpy's dad);

B. There was more to the scene than what is revealed to the viewer. A conversation, probably.

The only one Brooklynn hadn't seen before in the season was Kenji, so she didn't know about the affection he has for the baby in the shell, that is, she had no reason to choose him, again indicating that there was an exchange of words between the characters.

There is two hypothesis about what must happened:

• Before giving the egg to Ben, he (Kenji) interrupted and demanded to receive it in Ben's place. It would be strange, since one way or another they would already have the egg in hands – in very safe hands –, changing only the fact that it would be with Ben Pincus;

• Or better, Brooklynn took advantage of the great opportunity she had to give essential explanations for the third season: Santos would kill them if she noticed any sign of betrayal on B's part, but with only one egg missing and the promise that none of her "ex-friends" would get in the way of the plan, everything would be safer for Santos. B just had to take advantage of the small gap to tell her friends WHAT she was doing, WHERE she was going and WHY she was going there – remember, the others don't know anything about Sayona's plans. Those informations will be essential for the characters!

It makes sense, doesn't it? After all, part of the arc of Kenji's relationship with the others is that "nobody tells me anything". Having him as the center of the scene, being, somehow, the priority of information, implies a development in his arc and a future advancement in the others' as well.

Note, in the beginning, Kon was the last, but in the end he is the one who is the most ahead of his friends. There really was something.

Now, the final detail that is totally related to Brooklynn's reaction to the egg: Throughout the season she never knew that Bumpy would have a baby. Her reaction reveals that she realized she lost a lot. It's exactly what Earnest said: "You're nothing special [...]. You're never happy with the good thing you've got, right in front of you." This reinforces that Brooklynn's story is about enjoying the things she already has, what she loses with her obsession and what she also has to gain from it. She needs to balance a lot of things in order to finally understand, by herself, what the truly wants and needs.

Episode 2:

Genuinely in love with how they portray moon as her own character or at least wanting to be her own character away from Nice

Most often than not secondary female characters get forced into the romantic subplot rather than letting them be their own character!

Obviously the Wreck and Nice plotline is a little tragic that I wish they would have divulged more so we have a better understanding on who former Nice was

overall a good ep and honestly a little shocking because of how they touched on the topics that usually follows the status quo

We kind of get a lot more information how capitalistic the nature is of the hero org, a theory of mine is that X is his own thing and is not signed to a Superhero org at all I mean he could be considering he has that drink branded after him? I guess we’ll figure out in october!

Episode 3:

I enjoyed this episode because I misunderstood how the world works from ep 1

I thought that you would have to have multiple have faith in you, to have supporters behind you in order to obtain the powers but not at all, The nature of this world is that if multiple people believe you are one thing, then you become that thing

I watched this episode with my friend and he pointed out how sad thst shit could be, like imagine being a kidergsrtener and a bunch of your classmates believe you are a poopy head, what will that do to you yknow? <Its a childish comparison but it still lets you see the bigger picture>

it also tells us a lot about how one sided Views can affect people, Stand Man couldnt sit down at all because people believed that he stood for justice, that he always will and that perspective affected his personal life as well

I think in a way, this may be affecting Lin Ling because he took on this Nice persona, he’s completely forgotten abt his former life and his personality has changed completely

He has OCD as mentioned from the last few moments between his conversation with Stand Man and I think this might be from how the people see Nice as this perfect non lying hero, the most upfront to his fans and the like

aside from that we got to take a greater peek into the capitalistic nature of this world! Popularity is everything and its important that we make it to the top ten!

Rant abt Viktors arc in s2 (technically pt 2 to another post)

Viktors transformation via the Arcane in s2 felt very unsatisfying to me. Even if Viktors tampering and consequences of the Arcane were directly foreshadowed in s1 what is left to be interesting about that dynamic if its no longer his choice? How can I enjoy the horror of his transformation if its not Viktor holding the syringe, taking the knife, plunging his hand into the hexcore of his own volition? The true gut churning horror of Viktors arc was not the magic itself but rather how the external factors in Viktors life (his terminal illness, his deteriorating relationship with Jayce, Heimerdingers dissaproval) influence/force an already vulnerable man towards this clearly malicious entity. All external factors, btw, are a product of Piltovers classism (except for him and Jayces relationship... partially? But still abt mainly classism.) Now Im not disregarding Viktors responsibility and agency as his hubris and gray morality is still a very important aspect to his character, ultimately, he is the one who chooses to walk this path. Nevertheless Viktors arc is s1 is still percieved/framed as somewhat of a tragedy because his moral downfall and magical corruption was a preventable thing! If Zaun had the proper resources, he wouldnt be dying, if Heimerdinger hadnt been allowed to stay ignorant in such a position of power for hundrends of years maybe he would have understood why they didnt have 10 years, if Piltovers council werent corrupt and unintelligent (not including Mel!!), Jayce wouldnt have to become a politician. There is this angsty tension present as we watch all of this build up and Viktor, who is, notably, a reasonable, soft spoken, noble intented man retreat into a dangerous isolation of his own making. This tension is COMPLETELY fucking lost in season 2, he is now in a paradise, with all the power he could wish for to help other people, reborn after two of his deepest wishes are completely broken by his best friend... Because the show decides Piltover cant be an antagonistic force anymore they stick Viktor in this strange limbo where the uncertainty of him achieving his ideal future lies not between him and Piltover but him and himself being frustratingly ambigiously manipulated by the arcane. His descent into villainy loses its compellingness once its no longer clear where Viktor ends and where the Arcane begins. Yes, the Hexcore was manipulating him in Season 1 too but it was either exasperating his justifiable desperation, enhancing pre existing insecurities and flaws or using a believable amount of power over him (ex. weakening his altered leg in the scene where he tries to bring a chair over it.) Not implanting a thirst for eugenics or retconning his motivation for changing his body from "I dont want this terminal illness to kill me" to needing to be perfect then removing the free will of all his followers. In season 1 Viktors relationship with the arcane I was learning about Viktor, in season 2, it was about the Arcane.

Also- The fact Viktors turning point into the fucking machine herald is never given the justification to be tragic, his murder, just makes it silly. Sure leave ur characters decisions ambigious so I can interpret their pupils dialating but if Jayce blasts Viktor in the chest after Mage Viktor tells him "Only you can show me." I'm going to think this entire war could have been prevented if Jayce just ate a kitkat before entering the Commune. (Girl gets hangry </3)

i know this is a joke but actually. all my ship dynamics have an aroace feely situation to it cause im aroace and erm well. i see relationships in a particular way and if im the one writing it, inevitably... yeah that'll happen. i enjoy writing the conversations about boundaries and "well what is this then, what does it mean for us, what do we do and what do not do" and etc. heh. there'll be a comic like that, when either one of the ships actually happens.

i think this is extremely fun to write from the povs of characters that don't have a grasp of these nuanced relationships feelings like kano, shintaro and ayano. like kano being "non committal" or whatever the hell. is it really that or is he just not into what a traditional relationship entails? for ayano who thinks being alone is Easier. is it easier, or do you think being in a relationship means not being your own person anymore? and shintaro. well idk WHAT his fucking problem is. but it does come back to YOUR point. whenever shinaya or kanoshin happens, shintaro's actually the one to be like we can be a little not normal with it. it's fine cause it's ours, and we get to decide what to do... definitely said not as straightforward as that but yknow from him it's something

i think i go into it a little bit with ayano and kano in part 17 or even ayano in part 18 when she's like EITHER UR DATING OR U AREN'T. it's fun to see the pov of characters who i think have very rigid views of relationships when i have a very different view myself lol. this doesn't have to be every character, for example idk i headcanon harutaka or kidomomo aren't like this, maybe cause in this scenario they've been dating for so long they've created what works for them even if that isn't traditional. also harutaka and kidomomo are very queer here so that's also a reason why. sure kano's gay too but likeee. he's sort of a walking stereotype of a gay guy, because for him it's a reliable act to lean on. and for his gender i think he refuses thinking of his own feelings so much if he's got anything going on there (which he definitely does i mean come on) he's like i got a job so i dont really care abt that rn❤️🙏

that's also why i used harutaka for ayano to project a little on like whoa they aren't doing things right. i think she's even like THEY get a baby? they didn't even plan it and they aren't even married and THEY get a baby!?! it's so unfair! i want baby! ugh but i need a stupid husband first i guess. then being like ohhh.... i can do it without a stupid husband!!! yet somehow FALLS back on her initial thoughts because she chooses shintaro of all people, the only person she's ever had a romantic relationship with.

noah, my boy my babe my little whump whump, got his break out role in er as john carter. carter ended up being the focus of the first 11 seasons out of 15, returning to finish the series in season 15. i know after er noah got a main role in falling skies, & the librarian franchise. sadly his career never got much bigger BUT he is a really good actor & the roles he does choose he really crushes.

now...john carter :) if you enjoyed him in the pitt i urge you to run a train on er. carter is a great character, he starts out as a surgical intern in season one before realizing he isn't cut out (pun!) for surgery & his real love is in the emergency department. its so fun going over everything that happened to carter in my head. he's such a dynamic character that changes a lot, even just episode to episode.

like how to summarize john carter? the song africa by toto is actually his theme song lmao. like season 9-12 carter storyline is like verse for verse africa by toto which sounds like an indictment but isn't. the sad little rich white boy goes through a personal tragedy & then flies to the fucking congo with tv brand doctors without boarders to figure out his priorities & then decides to use his families INSANE (theyre the richest family in chicago from like exploiting coal or something in the early 1990s & he feels white guilty abt it) fortune to cure aids in africa. which sounds like it'd be terrible but...but i promise isn't.

also he's kinda bisexual king if im honest. like fr fr he & peter (his mentor in season one, & friend after) have wild sexual chemistry & when carter becomes addicted to narcotics (he got stabbed in the er by a patient with a giant cake cutting knife! bc he must suffer) peter is the only person he trusts & takes him to a treatment center. then when luka (a croatian er doc that convinces him to go to africa) is thought to be dead in africa carter goes back & is determined to find his body. like carter, is it gay to fly across the world to recover your ex girlfriend's ex boyfriend???? i think it is. he, luka, & abby have the most dysfunctional chemistry in er history im sorry.

like carter is just some rich guy who lost his brother to cancer & wanted to become a doctor to help people. he's also super cute when he cries or flips out :)

is this what you wanted to know slap? lmao also if you've seen the pitt watching er would be fun imo bc you will clearly be able to draw lines between the two shows & characters. to be robby is clearly a current day carter that has finally grown into mark greene's shoes as mark always thought he would. i think doctor robby is a nice nod to a more modernized version of mark's character while still being carter too. also if you like the political side of the pitt then er was the show that set the tone for that. its not a medical romance. er makes a point to highlight how the healthcare system fails & the systemic issues within medicine (which is personified in the 'big bad' of the first 10 seasons, dr. robert romano).

my only criticism of er thats popping out on my current rewatch is that somewhere in like maybe season 9, but i think season 10 & on, is that sometimes they kinda write medical problems/illness as a moral failing & that aways rubs me the wrong way a bit. maybe im just rose colored goggles over the first 8 or so seasons, but i really feel like they dont often fall into that.

but i'll point out something that i think is a really good thing about er. it's an ensemble cast that gets fully developed (for the most part, minus a few) & storylines are allowed to arc over seasons. you get good slow burn, well-developed stories that weave in & out over large chunks of episodes. most characters get a decent amount of screen time, even secondary/background characters (shout out nurses chuny & helah & yosh). i dont think a lot of shows achieve that. also so many of the characters are multifaceted, theres things you like or dont like about them, things they do that are upsetting or bad but also good.

OH! also there's a character named dr. weaver. she's a disabled lesbian who kicks ass & is a great doctor, but she's also a hard ass. kerry is such an interesting character, i adore her. plus they actually write over many season kerry realizing she's a lesbian to becoming comfortable to living a gay little life & it's pretty good.

Ok. My thoughts on dragons rising season 3

WARNING: SPOILERS ⚠️‼️

Remember that this is just skimming over each character, and I’d be more than happy to deep dive into everyone’s characterization through the season! Anywhizzle:

It was good! I genuinely enjoyed it- but I definitely think it was a little rushed. They definitely focused more on the characters rather than the plot. We didn’t get the proper build up to the main problem and the issue was resolved pretty quickly as well. However I do appreciate the character development Arin is having .

There was too many things happening at once. Sora and Frak were beefing (romantically?), Nya missed her husband, Arin was goin through his emo phase (his fit was fire tho), Lloyd was a concerned mom, Zane and Pixal were flirting, Jay’s still suffering from dementia, Kai was there, and Cole was doin his own thing. I feel like it was definitely more Arin and Sora focused, because most of the others seemed kinda off.

Kai and Lloyd were both pretty sidelined, because they should have definitely been more emotional. Lloyd just lost his first student because he was too busy foreseeing dire omens to talk about feelings. He should’ve been more upset, or maybe just concerned. Kai just came back from the goddamn void where he was constantly running from evil godlike creatures who wanted to kill him, and he wasn’t traumatized in the slightest?. He should’ve been given the rottmnt leo prison dimension fic treatment. He should’ve been traumatized. And the others (aside from Wyldfyre) didn’t even seem affected in season 2! They both should’ve definitely been more focused on, but maybe that’ll come soon hopefully!

Though Nya seemed especially hard headed. I feel like they really pushed the ‘annoying siblings’ trope on Kai and Nya. Kai seemed kinda stupid and Nya was just constantly mad at him. I was lowkey screaming at them to lock in and they just didn’t until the final episodes

Zane and Pixal were amazing together!! No comments 🫶 also why the freak was Zane just beefed up for the last couple of episodes?

Sora just seems to be building up her enemies to lovers harem unknowingly (Frak and Jordana I see you) and was just goin through it. Poor baby felt bad for making Arin upset

Arin was dealing with his own moral conundrum, having to choose between his beliefs or finding his parents. No negative thoughts abt him! He had some nice moments and was a little crash out-y but it’s fine! Everyone has some crash out moments so he gets a pardon

Frak was mansplaining every bc he was trying to rizz up Sora and failed miserably. I definitely loved their dynamic tho! (I feel like the “Big strong woman x Tiny twink boi” dynamic is definitely reoccurring in ninjago. ). Frak is just a cringe fail loser boi and I love him for it

And JAY. That LITTLE loser. All he did was follow Arin and Ras around. I did like that they brought back his flying machine as a reference to the early seasons. Jay still has dementia but now his hair is disgusting. WHAT IS THAT HAIR?! Why is it so long?! Did he straighten it???? WHY?!?

Also Cole just wasn’t there 🤷‍♀️ idk what the heck he was doing?

(Part 3) Time for Hyotei team to shine!! Here's my first impression of Hyotei! This team is also really interesting as they are popular (and one of the reasons for their popularity is VERY OBVIOUS *looks at the captain*). As much as i want to talk about Atobe, im afraid i might ended up writing a whole ass essay, but just know that in Gakupuri, he appears in other characters' route so much that i ended up fall in love with him before I even watch his route.

Hyotei characters' route are very cute and hilarious, especially Yuushi's. He's very flirty towards MC but she is just so damn oblivious to all of his attempts and it's so amusing to watch XD Hiyoshi's route is also pretty great, he keeps talking about scary stories and bringing MC to haunted houses knowing that she is scared of them and enjoys it everytime MC clings on to him lol.

Shishido's route has so many dialogues abt him and Otori (compare to the other doubles pairs) that it makes me wonder what was on the writer's mind when they wrote his story and it kinda feels like MC ships them lol.

Kabaji, like Jackal, deserves to have his own route like i won't be surprise if there are fans who would wanna choose him in the game.

(There's actually one more Hyotei member that i didn't include in the slides bcs he didn't even appeared in the game (i think u can only see him in the background or something) so i didn't know anything abt him sorry maybe i'll know once i start watching the anime)
