Raclis
(Rah-ck-lee-s): a list of intelligent species that are made up by me, both alien and fantasy. This is Episode One, where we gonna see some of the races from the A litera.
(PS: I have a list of 203 fantasy/alien races and most of them are my own creation, while the others are the classical elves, centaurs, orcs and et cetera. The list is arranged in alphabetical order and for now has only the shortest descriptions: these posts will be something like a description paper for every single race. I would love questions asked and will answer them with pleasure.)
Abyss Elves
Once technically normal elves, a large group of them was sent into the Abyss (also called Aumenel) for crimes they didn’t commit. Locked here for eternity, they slowly forgot most of the information about their past. They praise the myths about the sun, the sky, a world where there is no pain and darkness. They started calling each other Foariar (Those who are without sunlight). And slowly evolved into their modern looks. Dark skin, tints of green and purple, turquoise glowing eyes, whitish pink hair. Their blood is dark purple and has an odd scent of mashed tulips.
Fast facts:
- Super good climbers and parkourists due to the terrain of the Abyss.
- Are mostly always ripped athletes.
- When cut off, their hair will glow a pretty bright light for nearly five hours.
- In sunlight they go into an euphoric state which they hardly resist.
- Are incredible hunters and gatherers: farming in the Abyss is almost impossible.
- Abyss Elves have migrated to many other realms, especially the Spring World.
- They name their realm, Aumenel, means “without sky” in quenya.
Onomasticon:
(for Spring World Abyss Elves)
Gender-reversed modern european and ancient greek names. (Aurorus, Eugenia, Xenis, Anastasius, Agath)
Anagrams from spanish. (Roucos, Roeherr, Cadoraz, Jerichoter, Viona)
(for Abyss inhabitants)
Quenya and latin hybridisation (Hravai, Ilmarinorum, Incatrix, Terrandil, Indos)
Ada’klo
One of the species from the realm of Emiare, which is bound to the very fabric of time. Ada’klo - as all the other races from the klo family - have something called a cycle: a period of time when they exist. Their cycle is ten years long. Thus, they live for ten years, and afterwards disappear only to appear again after the same ten years without aging anyhow.
Fast facts:
- Due to their cycle length they gather at the great Adakloan Temples, where their place of disappearance is kept safe.
- Ada’klo look pretty much like humans, but are slightly different on the inside, anatomically and chemically.
Onomasticon:
Use old english and european names. (Alcott, Demelza, Borden, Terrel, Sacrifice)
Ain’klo
One of the species from the Emiare realm, these members of the klo species family have a one thousand years long cycle.
Fast facts:
- Have an incredible ancient culture which has many customs, like forced marriage (from both sides), child labour, extreme xenophobia.
- Are dangerous and non educated, will fight to death only to keep their traditions.
Onomasticon:
Use ancient babylonian names and their imitations. (Akki, Marnabu, Nazarat, Buvalu, Irigibel)
Aliquenar
A race which somehow combined all of the main features of elves, dwarves, orcs, humans and halflings. Slightly greenish skin, pointed ears, not-so-long beards, big hairy feet, no need in sleep and the ability to see over the horizon. Like jack of all trades, they have a wide set of talents and opportunities, but are masters of none. Hated among all of the species they combined in themselves, they try to live peacefully in their cities, not willing to make any conflict.
Fast facts:
- Due to the discrimination directed at them from the other races, they have a trait of being shy, polite and quiet.
- Are able to learn magic on the same level as humans.
- A legend has it that they came from a city trapped in the mountains, where all the five races met and after a long long time merged into one by breeding.
- Some may have more standing out traits of a specific compound race: as, orc tusks, elven lack of facial hair and eyelids, dwarvish height or beards, strange sexual dimorphism and others.
Onomasticon:
Use the languages and names of the humans, elves, dwarves and hobbits (orcish names are way more rare), and then, if wanted, merge them together, imitate them. (Legoli, Aiwenson, Thurwise, Kurumiel, Indis)
Alfers
Species of semiquadruped lizards with telepathic minds, which are able to evolve fast, adapting to the stressful situations. Tall two and half meters in the withers (8’2 feet) and long nearly five (16’4 feet), they are agile, omnivore and strong.
Fast facts:
- Alfers evolve fastly not only biologically, but linguistically. Their language changes so fast no one will never understand what they are saying, except some separate words, taken from other languages.
- Alfers are able to speak telepathically, but only talk: not reading thought but hearing the inner monologue of someone, thus communicating.
- They have a high regeneration factor, and are hard to kill.
Onomasticon:
Any possible names, words, abbreviations and anagrams. (Villaissa, Gerdan, Menttor, Seba, Lmne)
Anciento
Race of stickman-like, three eyed beings with high power and unreachable wisdom and intelligence. Can reproduce by giving any other living thing something they call “open intellect”, and then teach them how to turn into an anciento. Well, traditional reproducing is possible too.
Fast facts:
- While reproducing they, ironically, do not know how to turn back into their original state.
- Know a wide spectrum of using life energy for different purposes.
- Are able to fall into an anabiosis state for a long time.
- Are almost instinct.
Onomasticon:
Names are mostly two syllables, unisex, and have no meaning, because of their proverb “You mean nothing at birth: give your name a meaning by yourself”. (Koni, Jaro, Neho, Mibta, Vere)
Androids of Binarica
Robots made by the techno-magic goddess-planet Binarica. Are unique from other robots by their design: solid parts are slowly merging into soft ones, and they look humane but have slightly object-like heads.
Fast facts:
- Were being enslaved for many centuries by other races of Binarica.
- All of them by custom have light-blue photosensors (eyes).
- Follow directives, which can be changed by hacking.
- Feel emotions and have souls.
Onomasticons:
Leet, deites on abbreviations, scientifical termins, or even all at once. (M45 T4R, G3x2x2, S5Z2, Tetratom, Cleleven Zero)
Anmanibes/Ri’be’li
Species from a far realm of jungles and plains, anmanibes have some unique features. First of all, they have no arms. At all. Down to the shoulderblades - no arms. But thye have a compensation for this flaw: the ability for telekinesis, and many other paranormal abilities. Anmanibes (which means “armless”) call themselves Ri’be’li - “the second born children of the gods”. They are digitigrade and have a pretty long lizard-like tail they use for balance.
Fast facts:
- Ri’be’li are one of my favourite races.
- The paranormal abilities they are known to posess are: channeling (speaking with spirits and other paranormal deities), levitation, telekinesis, telepathy, biolocation, materialisation, atmokinesis, aeromancy, pyromancy, thermokinesis, teleportation, television, precognition, and other.
- Have two pairs of eyelids: one for blinking and one for “television”, or also called telescopic vision.
- Have ears which are suspiciously pointed, like those of elves.
- One myth from their culture says that the ri’be’li were born from the us’ib’tor’tor: a firstborn race in their world. The first ri’be’li was called A’ud’ca, and he was born without arms. His parents abandoned him, but A’ud’ca had the power to bend wills of other people, and slowly he made it so other us’ib’tor’tor could give birth to ri’be’li, and then he somehow, after a long time, made the us’ib’tor’tor race vanish into the sands of history, giving place for ri’be’li to rise.
- Most of them are disgusted by arms and hands in general, calling any creature with arms an a’us’cla (limited).
Onomasticon:
Use latin, then take every syllable and put them in reverse order, placing apostrophy between each syllable. Most names are gender neutral. (Pha’al, Ta’del, Ta’be, O’di’gla, Ra’tet)

Congratulations Tilly and welcome back! We’re so happy to accept your application to play Reyna Ramírez-Arellano with the faceclaim of Adria Arjona in Fire & Glory RPG! We can’t wait to begin roleplaying with you so please remember to look over our checklist!
!! tw: PTSD mention and Homicide !!
NAME: Reyna Avila Ramírez-Arellano. AGE: 24 years old (June 3rd, 1993). FACECLAIM: Adria Arjona. HERITAGE: Daughter of Bellona. AFFILIATION: First Cohort (former), Praetor of the Twelfth Legion.
WHY I WANT TO PLAY HER: She’s been my second favorite character ever since I read her first description in Son of Neptune and I was so fucking glad she got her own POV in Blood of Olympus because she’s a queen and she deserves it. Reyna will rule us all.
CHANGES I’M MAKING: lmao i’m just rewriting her bio because micah said it was okay
ABILITIES: telumkinesis, odikinesis, sharing strength, enhanced fighting skills, standard demigod abilities and those of a praetor.
HEADCANONS:
Getting with the times now that technology has been improved and made safe for demigods, Reyna uploads instructional self-defense videos to a Youtube channel regularly, to help demigods, new and old, outside of their legion training and with different techniques.
Reyna takes the time to personally train with new recruits and probatios that she believes have potential. She also makes the effort to learn the name of every single one of her legionnaires. If she doesn’t know their names, why would they even fight for her?
Reyna is probably the strongest supporter of ‘head over heart’, ever since Venus told her about her broken heart not being able to be healed by a demigod. She may have thawed a bit after the wars, but she is still distrustful, strict and stoic when it comes to anyone who isn’t explicitly her friend.
BIOGRAPHY:
!! tw: PTSD mention and Homicide !!
Julian Ramírez-Arellano wasn’t always a highly paranoid and violent man. He didn’t always suffer from PTSD: in fact, he used to be a courageous, heroic man who served in the war in Iraq. His valor was what attracted the goddess of warfare, not once, but twice. His valor, and the fact that he was a Ramírez-Arellano, a member of the family she’d blessed millenia ago. Her favorites. Her daughters would grow up to be strong warriors, leading their own armies like she envisioned, but sacrifices had to be made for that. Julian’s sanity was one of those. He raised his daughters, but traumatized them as well. Locking your girls in their rooms to protect them from imaginary enemies and throwing furniture at them when you start seeing them as those enemies, tends to do that. No one could blame Reyna for killing him, even though it was unintentional. No one but Reyna herself: because patricide is a Roman sin, which she would carry with her until the moment she revisited her home in San Juan, where she finally forgave herself.
Running away with Hylla was one of the best decisions she made in her entire life. Circe’s Spa gave her a home and a new family, a new purpose, however superficial it might have been. She enjoyed her time there, and was devastated when Blackbeard and his crew destroyed the island and captured her and her sister. That was also the moment Reyna learned some valuable skills in life, such as where to kick to make it hurt and how to suppress her emotions, bottling them up and putting a cork in them so there would be no risk of eruption.
The sisters eventually bested the pirates, earning their full respect and taking over another ship brought in by clueless demigods. They parted ways then, going off to lead their separate lives: Hylla became a queen and little Reyna was thrown to the wolves - literally. It didn’t take long for her to find her inner strength and please Lupa: in fact, she was one of the quickest studies the she-wolf had ever trained. It didn’t surprise anyone when she was placed in the First Cohort because of her heritage and skills in battle, bringing with her a recommendation letter from the queen of the Amazons herself (the only gift she received at their parting), and when she displayed her father’s courage, Reyna was quickly elected praetor, even though she still had a year of service to go before she would even be eligible for the position.
During the wars, she finally grew into the best version of herself. She showed that she was a true and just ruler, worthy of leading the legion, which rallied most of the Romans to her side. The ones like Octavian were a thorn in her side, influencing her and her loyal soldiers without her consent, but even praetors have their limits, especially when it comes to the threat of large mobs at her doorstep demanding her to choose a new praetor, because she was somehow deemed unfit to lead without help from a man. Her ‘betrayal’ at the end of the war with Gaea didn’t go unnoticed, and although she briefly wondered about stepping down, Reyna doesn’t regret keeping the job. But she’s been serving as praetor for a very long time, and even though she doesn’t know what a life outside of the legion would be like, just living in the city, she’s been thinking about finding out. But her soldiers, her family, they come first: and she would never abandon them in a time of need.
PARA SAMPLE:
“First-time-at-spa. Let’s see…” Hylla was tending to the newest customers, a scrawny black-haired boy and a feisty blonde with the most startling grey eyes Reyna had ever seen. Her sister’s smiles were perfect, exactly like Circe had taught her, and it was times like these when Reyna wished she was more like her. Hylla was the first of the two of them to have been promoted to sorceress in training, while she was overlooked and stuck with her job in the hair department. Hylla was older, allowed to show the new recruits around, allowed to do magic before Reyna was even considered. She wasn’t really eavesdropping, not when she was allowed to walk the resort freely, but she kept telling herself that maybe she would be allowed to do magic too if she showed she was worthy. And Hylla was worthy. Hylla was perfect so if Reyna was more like Hylla, she would be worthy too.
She trailed behind her sister and the new girl at a safe distance, only vaguely aware of the direction they were going in after the meeting with Circe. Hylla shot her a look every once in a while, ones she didn’t understand, which had her wondering when they’d become so numb to their once almost telepathic connection. The tour would end soon, Reyna would be expected to transform the girl’s bird nest into a Greek updo or luscious locks (which would definitely take a while), silent in the background. So she made her way to the room appointed to her, fiddling with her shampoos and conditioner bottles to start the task at hand.
“I love your Corinthean columns,” Annabeth mumbled, and Reyna shot her a smile through the mirror. Hylla spoke up, giving her a full rundown of the Greek architecture of the island, but Reyna’s mind was elsewhere. They were Romans (well, Hylla was a Roman, but they knew they shared their mother), and Greek architecture felt… off. The golden threads woven into Annabeth’s blonde hair were a masterpiece, her best work yet, but with her mind so distracted, the girl wouldn’t even appreciate them. A pity.
———
“There’s the sorceress who captured us, lads! Run her through-” Blackbeard’s final words were cut off by Circe’s high-pitched screech, and Reyna found herself running along with the other maidservants, away from Annabeth and Percy Jackson. They were fast, much faster than the rest, but there was no way off the island. Hylla told her to hide behind a corner, or under a sofa, or anywhere, but guinea pigs were apparently very fast too. Captured within moments, the sisters Ramírez-Arellano were taken prisoner in their own home. The pirates picked them to be serve their drinks, make their meals and provide pleasure in other ways while they killed off their friends one by one. In the time they weren’t needed, Hylla trained her sister with makeshift weapons and armor. Reyna was a quick study. It wasn’t long before Blackbeard was dead on the marble floor and his crew mates bowed to two female captains instead.
———
“Percy… Jackson?” The praetor of Camp Jupiter probably sounded like she was choking on her own words, but her shock was too big to hide. She’d led the legion to the borders of camp to meet today’s guards with the new recruit, but to find the cause of most of her pain there, was something she definitely hadn’t expected. Percy Jackson. After Juno made her declaration, basically proclaiming that this was going to be the worst year of service yet, with a son of Neptune who had her blessing, Reyna shoved her emotions aside and faced the once scrawny, black-haired kid like a true leader would. “I am Reyna, praetor of the Twelfth Legion. And…” He’d clearly forgotten. After all, it had been many years since the incident, and why would he remember a single girl among so many? She could tell him the truth, beat him up and be excused by all of Camp Jupiter for what he did to her once. No one would blame her. But she had pride, and not enough knowledge to deal with the situation. Not to mention the fact that she would be going against the wishes of Juno herself. “No, I don’t know you.” He studied her, probably aware she was lying, but she stared right back. “Hazel,” she finally snapped, “bring him inside. I want to question him at the principia.” Aurum and Argentum would know what to do if he lied. “Then we’ll send him to Octavian. We must consult the auguries before we decide what to do with him.” This final statement obviously scared Percy, because he directly questioned her. Lupa should have taught him some manners along with the fighting skills, because he could definitely use them. This was no way to address a praetor. “Before we accept anyone into camp, we must interrogate them and read the auguries.” Hylla had written to her about Greek demigods often, so she knew what she was dealing with, just not why. “Juno said your fate is in our hands. We have to know whether the goddess has brought us a new recruit…” looking him over, Reyna decided she would do everything in her power to ensure that the other option would be more appealing, both to her and her legion, “or if she’s brought us an enemy to kill.”

Why Read Your Horoscope When You Can Read Your Whole Birth Chart?

Why Read Your Horoscope When You Can Read Your Whole Birth Chart?
This birth chart how-to was originally published in May of 2017, shortly before astrology-mania reached its peak altitude, which now hovers somewhere between 50,000 feet and Pluto. We figured it was time for a refresh. If you’re tired of skipping over the part of your horoscope that waxes poetic about the implications of your rising sign, learn how to read your full birth chart below.
I
love astrology. I couldn’t care less if it’s “accurate.” It’s fun and harmless. And, as an ever-prideful Leo, there are few things I enjoy more than reading about myself on the internet. In fact, I spent the better part of my spring 2015 college lectures educating myself on astrology’s origins and nuances because I couldn’t get enough.
When my interest blossomed into a blog, Bossy Planets (where I eventually garnered hundreds of questions a day), I was surprised to learn that many of my fellow horoscope enthusiasts knew little of their astrological cocktails. You know, like the planets and houses and asteroids that bubble beneath the surface of the basic zodiac wheel. That’s probably because you can’t determine your full natal chart with your birth date alone. There are many websites (like this one) that will calculate it for you — but you need your exact time and city of birth. It’s worth the extra effort though, trust me. Natal charts delve far deeper into your psyche than your average weekly horoscope, dissecting various celestial placements at the time of your birth to give you a fuller idea of how they may affect your personality. Once I studied mine, I was hooked.
I’m not sure where you fall on the astrology spectrum. Maybe you think it’s dumb, maybe you read it every week just in case, maybe you consult the stars on what to eat for breakfast. Regardless of your level of interest, a full natal chart reading is an interesting canvas on which to explore your personality. If you’re one of those people who never felt understood by your sun sign, who knows? Maybe you’ll find you relate more to other aspects of your zodiac. Below, I’ve broken down the guiding principles of astrology to help you read your full chart. It’s a starter kit, if you will, complete with all the vagaries and self-indulgent details that make astrology so appealing to begin with.
The Sun Sign
The 12 zodiac constellations — observed and used in Ancient Rome, though their origins can be traced even earlier — are positioned along the “path” of the sun as seen from Earth. Your sun sign is determined by which zodiac constellation is behind the sun on the date of your birth. This is the one you no doubt already know; the most commonly known and important aspect of your birth chart. Essentially, your sun sign speaks to your most basic identity. It represents your ego, your daily actions, the dynamic expression of your will.
As a Leo, I would describe myself as outspoken, creative and affectionate. Although my sister would say I’m basically an “emo lion” and an anonymous user on Tumblr once used the phrases “obsessed with yourself,” “curious bugger” and “somewhat of an outcast.” Take that as you will.
The Elements
There are four elements in the zodiac, between which the 12 zodiac signs are split evenly (so, three each). These three are believed to be most compatible with each other due to their commonalities and shared values.
Fire Signs (Aries, Leo and Sagittarius) are known for their passion, confidence and strong gut instincts. Water Signs (Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces) are the most sensitive, idealistic and kind. Air Signs (Gemini, Aquarius and Libra) are typically the most communicative, social and open-minded. Earth Signs (Taurus, Capricorn and Virgo) are renowned for their practicality, stability, realism and persistence.
Elements tend to paint the signs with broad strokes, but they’re fun to think about when analyzing your friend, family and romantic relationship dynamics. (As a fire sign, I find I gravitate more towards air signs.)
The Moon Sign
Arguably, your moon sign is just as important as your sun sign. It’s determined by which zodiac constellation the moon was in at your exact time of birth. Your moon sign speaks to your emotional nature and inner self. It tends to reflect your personality when you’re alone — or deep within your comfort zone. It’s considered more feminine and reflects your relationships with important women in your life. So next time you’re eating chips in bed, spiraling down a conspiracy theory YouTube rabbit hole and crying on the phone with your mom, maybe blame your moon sign.
Also, some believe your moon sign is more accurate in predicting the root of your subconscious thoughts than your sun sign. My Gemini moon has given me comfort whenever I’ve felt misunderstood, because this placement is often characterized as having complex and valuable inner monologues.
The Houses
Okay. Houses. Have you ever heard someone say something like, “Mars is in your third house”? They’re referring to which slice of the sky Mars was in at the time of your birth. The house system divides the sky into 12 sections and, depending on which planets and constellations fall into which sections when you were born, provide insight into specific areas of your life. Your first house is determined by which zodiac constellation was rising on the eastern horizon at the exact moment you were born, which is why both time and location of your birth are needed to determine it. The rest of your houses count up sequentially from there. Sites like this one can provide these visuals for your chart!
Here’s what each of the houses might tell you about your personality and life:
1. The First House represents self-image 2. The Second House represents money and finances 3. The Third House represents close platonic relationships and our immediate environments 4. The Fourth House represents family and childhood 5. The Fifth House represents self-expression, creativity and entertainment 6. The Sixth House represents work and health 7. The Seventh House represents marriage and long-term partnerships 8. The Eighth House represents both transformation and sexuality 9. The Ninth House represents belief systems and faith 10. The Tenth House represents careers and responsibility 11. The Eleventh House represents aspirations and personal goals 12. The Twelfth House represents privacy, secrets and karma
If your head is spinning right now, just pay attention to your first, fourth, seventh and tenth house. They’re typically given more weight.
The interesting thing about houses is they may reveal or confirm your strengths and weaknesses. When I learned that Aries was in my second house, for example, I wasn’t surprised. Aries is a sign characterized by ambition, passion and volatile emotion, and when it’s in my second house, which represents money and finances, it makes sense that I’m very career-minded and feel that my money needs to be self-made. It also makes sense that I fall victim to impulsive spending (shout-out to my unnecessary — but also necessary — shoe purchase a week ago). Oops.
The Rising Sign
A quick word on your rising sign. Also known as “the ascendant,” your rising sign is the zodiac constellation that falls into your first house. It’s the most fickle and difficult to nail down — you may get different results if you shift your birth time even a few minutes. Many astrologists say this one is your third most important placement, after your sun and moon signs. As mentioned, your ascendant represents your public identity. It can often manifest in your clothing or really any decisions related to your outward-facing identity (such as hair color, piercings or overall style). It also might symbolize how you respond to your immediate surroundings and your attitude towards everyday life.
For me, learning my rising sign made me feel emboldened to get a septum piercing — even though my friends said it’d be too “weird” — because my Aquarius ascendant is defined by individuality and often rebellious style choices.
The Planets
Some argue that planets are even more important than houses. In the process of their orbits, planets move in and out of the zodiac constellations, lingering in some much longer than others, depending on the speed and size of their orbits. When you’re born, imagine the night sky freezing in place. Which planets are in which constellations? The answer will help you read into your personality even more.
The Inner Planets
Mercury, Venus and Mars are called the inner planets due to their changeability and closeness to Earth. For that reason, precision with your birth place and time is far more important for these. The signs that fall within the inner-planet placements dictate your core personality traits, needs and desires.
Mercury is the planet of communication, so determining where it is when you’re born will tell you something about how you learn and converse. For instance, those with earth signs in Mercury (Taurus, Capricorn, Virgo) will likely be very reasonable, observant people. Those with air signs in Mercury (Gemini, Aquarius, Libra) are most effective communicators when writing and public speaking. Fire signs in Mercury (Aries, Leo, Sagittarius) are passionate and sometimes hot-headed in arguments. Water signs in Mercury are highly emotional and likely to avoid confrontation.
Venus — named for the Roman Greek goddess of love, Aphrodite — rules a person’s love life. It speaks to the ways in which you express affection, what you look for in a partner and generally what you find attractive.
Mars is the planet of conflict, aggression and action. It represents the physical expression of your initiative and drive — often applicable to both your sex life and ambition in business — and speaks to the ways you channel desire and anger, particularly for those with fire signs in Mars. (My Mars placement often reminds me to reflect before I act and channel the balance-seeking energy of the Libra sign.)
Your inner planet placements may appear contradictory, but that’s part of what makes them fun — they delve into our own contradictions, too. For example, being a Leo Venus, I’m a sloppy love puppy who thrives on meaningful conversation and is generally a bit emotional. My Virgo Mercury placement, on the other hand, seems to speak to a detached nature — like my hatred of small talk, maybe.
The Outer Planets
The outer planets — Uranus, Neptune and Pluto (RIP) — have the longest and widest orbits, which makes them generational placements. People born within a few years of you will likely have the same placements for all the outer planets, which makes them less consequential in each individual person’s chart. The longest an outer planet will stay in the same sign is about 15 years.
Uranus rules change, Neptune rules dreams, Pluto rules power. Your placements can suggest what you work towards in these areas throughout your life. For those around my age — 21 and smack-dab in the middle of Generation Y — you’ll find both your Uranus and Neptune placements in Capricorn, indicating a strong inclination towards equality and social justice. Feel free to use that as a counter-argument the next time someone tells you millennials are useless.
The Social Planets
Jupiter and Saturn are sometimes called the social planets because their orbits are wider and longer than those of the inner planets, but smaller and shorter than those of the outer planets. They represent and influence how people relate to society.
Jupiter is the planet of luck, education and growth. The Jupiter placement is also seen as very philosophical and might indicate how you feel about religion.
Saturn is is all about limitations and boundaries. The Saturn placement can help reveal what you need to overcome and the restrictions you might encounter along the way — especially earlier in life.
For me, having Sagittarius in Jupiter, a restless sign, probably means I should travel more (I’m not complaining). An analysis of my Saturn placement, Pisces, known for its isolationist tendencies, might encourage me to take more risks with collaboration.
A truly comprehensive and in-depth birth chart interpretation requires research, instinct, time and resources. The details are important — even twins may find that some placements can shift within minutes. That said, you’ll rarely find two astrologists who tell you the exact same thing, because the world and the cosmos and all the people who exist within them are ever-changing and dynamic. It is important to remember, though, that these charts are designed to provide descriptions and possibilities, not absolutes. I’ve found that interpreting my chart has led me to a greater sense of self-understanding. At times, it’s given me confidence in my decisions. I’ve made it my own. Astrology should be used as a tool to enhance our lives, not dictate them.

3: Abyss Elves Once technically normal elves, a large group of them was sent into the Abyss (also called Aumenel) for crimes they didn’t commit. Fast facts: - Super good climbers and parkourists due to the terrain of the Abyss. Onomasticon: (for Spring World Abyss Elves) Gender-reversed modern european and ancient greek names. (Aurorus, Eugenia, Xenis, Anastasius, Agath) Anagrams from spanish. (Roucos, Roeherr, Cadoraz, Jerichoter, Viona) (for Abyss inhabitants) Quenya and latin hybridisation (Hravai, Ilmarinorum, Incatrix, Terrandil, Indos)
4: Ada’klo One of the species from the realm of Emiare, which is bound to the very fabric of time. Ada’klo - as all the other races from the klo family - have something called a cycle: a period of time when they exist. Their cycle is ten years long. Thus, they live for ten years, and afterwards disappear only to appear again after the same ten years without aging anyhow. Fast facts: - Due to their cycle length they gather at the great Adakloan Temples, where their place of disappearance is kept safe. - Ada’klo look pretty much like humans, but are slightly different on the inside, anatomically and chemically. Onomasticon: Take some vintage english and european names, put the letters in reverse order and take the first three letters. (Nostto, Semitr, Eci, Adaeis, Badraeca)
5: Ain’klo One of the species from the Emiare realm, these members of the klo species family have a one thousand years long cycle. Fast facts: - Have an incredible ancient culture which has many customs, like forced marriage (from both sides), child labour, extreme xenophobia. - Are dangerous and non educated, will fight to death only to keep their traditions. Onomasticon: Use ancient babylonian names, words and their imitations, write them in reverse and take the first three letters. (Ikngas, Utuann, Lilan, Atrik, Aluruk)
6: Aliquenar
A race which somehow combined all of the main features of elves, dwarves, orcs, humans and halflings. Slightly greenish skin, pointed ears, not-so-long beards, big hairy feet, no need in sleep and the ability to see over the horizon. Like jack of all trades, they have a wide set of talents and opportunities, but are masters of none. Hated among all of the species they combined in themselves, they try to live peacefully in their cities, not willing to make any conflict. Fast facts: - Due to the discrimination directed at them from the other races, they have a trait of being shy, polite and quiet. Onomasticon: Use the languages and names of the humans, elves, dwarves and hobbits (orcish names are way more rare), and then, if wanted, merge them together, imitate them. (Legoli, Aiwenson, Thurwise, Kurumiel, Indis)
7: Alfers Species of quadruped lizards with telepathic minds, which are able to evolve fast, adapting to the stressful situations. Tall two and half meters in the withers (8’2 feet) and long nearly five (16’4 feet), they are agile, omnivore and strong. Fast facts: - Alfers evolve fastly not only biologically, but linguistically. Their language changes so fast no one will never understand what they are saying, except some separate words, taken from other languages. - Alfers are able to speak telepathically, but only talk: not reading thought but hearing the inner monologue of someone, thus communicating. - They have a high regeneration factor, and are hard to kill. Onomasticon: Any possible names, words, abbreviations and anagrams. (Villaissa, Gerdan, Menttor, Seba, Lmne)
8: Anciento Race of stickman-like, three eyed beings with high power and unreachable wisdom and intelligence. Can reproduce by giving any other living thing something they call “open intellect”, and then teach them how to turn into an anciento. Well, traditional reproducing is possible too. Fast facts: - While reproducing they, ironically, do not know how to turn back into their original state. - Know a wide spectrum of using life energy for different purposes. - Are able to fall into an anabiosis state for a long time. - Are almost instinct. Onomasticon: Names are mostly two syllables, unisex, and have no meaning, because of their proverb “You mean nothing at birth: give your name a meaning by yourself”. (Koni, Jaro, Neho, Mibta, Vere)
9: Androids of Binarica Robots made by the techno-magic goddess-planet Binarica. Are unique from other robots by their design: solid parts are slowly merging into soft ones, and they look humane but have slightly object-like heads. Fast facts: - Were being enslaved for many centuries by other races of Binarica. - All of them by custom have light-blue photosensors (eyes). - Follow directives, which can be changed by hacking. - Feel emotions and have souls. Onomasticon: Leet, deites on abbreviations, scientifical termins, or even all at once. (M45 T3R, G3x2x2, S5Z2, Tetratom, Cleleven Zero)
11: Anmanibes/Ri’be’li Species from a far realm of jungles and plains, anmanibes have some unique features. Fast facts: - Ri’be’li are one of my favourite races. Onomasticon: Use latin, then take every syllable and put them in reverse order, placing apostrophy between each syllable. Most names are gender neutral. (Pha’al, Ta’del, Ta’be, O’di’gla, Ra’tet) 12: Antlings Once humans, these humanoids were cursed by their gods for their crimes. Thus, they gained chitin plates over the vulnerable places on their bodies - the chest, the stomach, the back, the buttocks, thighs, shins, and foreheads. In height they are not higher than 150cm (4’9 feet). They have antennas on their heads like those of ants, which help their queens to control them. Queens are unique, the only caste which are allowed to mate. They have a limited ability to shapeshift (as to change gender, bodybuild, coloring and height), and they can control other antlings via telepathic orders and psychic damage. If an antling loses his antennas, they will be free from the control of the queen, but the loss will make them feel a severe headache for a long period of time before healing, and even can occur death. Fast facts: - The most cruel, pathetic, miserable and dumb people became the queens, by the will of the gods. - There are three castes of antlings: Workers, Soldiers and Queens/Aristocracy. - Antlings build so-called “anthills” from everything they can find. The anthills look like big piles of things, gigantic hoards of different materials which are hard to enter for everyone who does not know their layout. Sometimes they use ancient fortresses and houses as a base for anthills. - They have a very concurenting culture between different anthills. They are all given different names and have their queens idolised to a god position. Onomasticon: The simple workers have dull names which often describe their appearance, personality traits, or profession. (Shy, Littlesmith, Junk, Heannoy, Seeker) Warriors are given freedom to choose their own names after becoming mature and as an addition to their number in the army. (Lionmane 1039, Goldenbraid 1052, Thegreatest 1013, Mosttall 1054, Charger 1071) The aristocracy often make up their names to look fancy, and are always different because of the different views of what is fancy. (Pantheonas, LeMareialis, Equilibricos, Theodor, Sharlotte) 14:Asuras A race of high demonic demigods which have great abilities gifted to them by reality itself. Asuras can have up to four pairs of arms and, often, other mutations, such as additional heads/faces, animalistic features and unusual skin color. Asura can bend themselves to the concepts of things or elements, thus getting their power from them and have abilities based on them. The more high is the spiritual level of an asura is, the more arms and mutations they are able to cast on oneself. Fast facts: - There are many subspecies of asuras: families, each called by the name of the gods which started the kin. They share traits such as mutations and skin color. - Asuras are wise creatures but are pretty greedy and selfish, with some exceptions. - Are able to do custom spells freely. Onomasticon. Use sanskrit and hinduism gods names, combine them. (Adhika-Ar’i, Sarasagni, Ashmanastan, Manasrama, Yammantra)
15: Atlants Born by the goddess of water, seas, oceans and ice Neptunia, atlants are the inhabitants of the Neptunia Moon. They look like humans with beige colored fish scales instead of skin (some subspecies have other kinds of skin, much like this of a dolphin or shark). Able to breathe underwater and to momentaly sink in it, have the ability to see through the depths of water like we see through clean air. Atlants understand the language of the sea, and are talented aquamancers. Fast facts: - Rarely walk on land, and because of that are uneducated about anything that could happen here. - Are pretty aggressive against ships and boats, and will let them float only for the means of transportation. - Their hair is thicker than that of a normal human and grows so slowly that to their elder years atlants have almost no gray hairs. - Live roughly thrice longer than humans. Onomasticon: Use ancient greek names, and combine them with words from all languages that are associated with the water and the moon. (Aristide, Glykera, Variagatha, Aquahilarion, Rekagalene)
16: Awara Spirits of wisdom which came to the material realms and made their bodies from everything they could find nearby. Thus, awara have different looks: bodies made from dirt, stones, wood, sand, and other. But they always do have a magical skin “mask” which indicates the fact they are alive. State of one’s awara body shows his spiritual height: when an awara is fair, good and loving, their body will bloom and shine, and when the opposite: will be dark and rotting. Awara’s skin mask slowly grows over time, but so slow that no awara ever got fully covered in skin. The skin does not bleed but leaks magical energy. Fast facts: - Awara do not reproduce, as in the Wisdom Realm (where they came from) there is an infinite number of them. Yet they are usually separating each other to genders, which they choose themselves. - Awara can sense the meaning of words and names, and can sense the name of someone. - Can teleport using the principle of “abandon this body and go somewhere else as a ghost, make another one”. - Are able to talk to nature, plants and animals. - If the skin of their “mask” reaches the crotch, reproductive organs will appear. The half-awara are able to do astral projections and become a fully functional awara, and still have a biological body in access. - Are able to talk to each other telepathically, not minding any distance. Onomasticon: Use any word and then change all the vowels in it to the first appearing in such word. As, for example, the word onomasticon will become the name Onomostocon. Usually awara have names which describe their character, and are given by other awara. Names are unisex. (Rivilit, Mentelest, Lonolo, Moontoon, Savaga)
Honorable mentions which didn’t need explaination due to the fact they are in the list but are not my creation:
1: Aarakocra
2: Aasimars
10: Angels
13: Arachnids
