Hi!! So I'm a fairly strong chuck won believer (i have been given some Extremely convincing evidence and I think its interesting to think about so) but I saw a post you made about how that theory disregards cas and jacks arcs and I was just wondering if you could expand on that? I'm super open to interpretations lol and I'm really curious to hear the other side (i haven't seen too much anti chuck won stuff so I dont know the arguments)

Okay, oh boy. I guess part of it is what exactly you mean by “Chuck Won” because I understand it on a censorship level. Yes, Chuck was representing the network. Yes, the network meddled and cut Dean’s reciprocation and we ended up with that garbage finale with pages of [OMITTED] in the script. So, if that’s all you mean by “Chuck Won” then yeah, whatever I guess.

Idk, some people probably feel it’s a legitimate theory simply because Dean died. It seems a lot of the fandom thinks death = bad…and that’s just not the case now that Jack freed the souls. I mean, I can throw quotes from The Mummy and Lord of the Rings at you about how death is the next step in journey. So while I’m no longer upset about Dean dying in general, especially because it was foreshadowed, the way he died was so fucking dumb. That doesn’t mean I think it has anything to do with Chuck.

Cas’ arc was all about self-actualization. His speech in Gimme Shelter explains a good part of it with how he found purpose having a family and becoming a dad, BUT him also realizing that having himself is important, too. Then, oh goodness, we reach the culmination in Despair (The Truth) when he realizes happiness is in the saying, in accepting your truth, both the good and bad bits of yourself. The Empty comes and he reintegrates with his Shadow to become whole and saves Dean, the world, and himself in the process. Yes, that’s a whole bunch of Jungian psychology stuff and it’s a lot to process and I’m probably not doing the best job of explaining it. Most of the Chuck Won theory stuff I’ve seen ignores all that and seems to ignore the canon that Cas IS in heaven. I understand the disappointment of Cas and Dean not reuniting, YET. Corporate fuckery (and Covid) kept it from happening in the finale with the original Roadhouse ending that was planned and then scheduling conflicts and Jensen and Misha agreeing Cas needed more than a cameo kept him from being in The Winchesters.

And Jack. Jack was literally the whole goddamn point. The two big things are he’s possessed and sometimes dead because of this, or he is corrupted somehow. I have never seen a convincing damn argument for either of these things. There’s one post that tries to compare some his mannerisms to Chuck, but is filled with so much straw grasping and reaching I’m surprised the author didn’t need a doctor afterward. Another is that some people project on the poor boy so much and just they don’t like his arc, they want to think something is wrong. There is a lot more Pagan stuff about Jack and the number of mythologies where some god is brought down by being a power hungry dickhead and that comes back to bite them in the ass as a grandchild in Jack’s case removes them from power. There are better people to explain all the Pagan imagery surrounding Jack; my tag #jack is the orphic egg should get you to some really good stuff. I’m also not down to argue about how the last 3-5 seasons are meant to read with a Pagan lens. There was one group who predicted the end of the mothership months in advance and then all of The Winchesters and it wasn’t the people clinging to some white Christian reading.

Last thing, I just personally find the theory really lazy as well. I would legitimately be so disappointed in Jensen and whoever ends up writing the next chapter whether that’s Robbie or someone else if they went that route. Luckily, they are all smarter than that and I can see them seeming to lean into it, but then having the most fabulous rug pull! This is very long, oops.

I want more, thats all I can say. This feels a little bit like a working preface to what will be a larger fic and I am already thirsting for more word count. I love that similar to the other GOT sobbe fic you also see Robbe as a Tyrell and Sander as a Targaryen and omg I squealed at the reworking of the winter rose crown scene where Sander gives the crown to Robbe. You can not play with my emotions like that Sobbe and GOT is just to much for me to process. I know the GOT world is monolithic but if you could grace us with more word count I would be forever grateful.

Harry Potter

I mean what can I say that hasn’t been said before about this author. One of the og GOAT’s of the wtfock fanfic tag. A nice HP spin on enemies to lovers. I especially love the detail writing around the Quidditch matches. So many beautiful details around scenes that take place in the dining hall and corridors of Hogwarts but I love the way that its not emulating J.K. Rowlings specific voice but aholynight is writing a variation of Hogwarts thats as detailed but still very stylistic to their writing style. A lot of this fic mirrors wtfock s3 canon so its nice they used HP as their world so it doesn’t just feel like a retelling of s3. Especially the Ohn scene. We also spend a lot of time with Robbe in his dorm and I don’t know why I have a soft spot for all the dorm room scenes. Also not gonna ruin the surprise for those who haven’t read it but guess what houses Robbe and Sander belong too? (I know some people disagree with the selections).

I can tell that this author is a huge HP stan because some of the details in this fic are things I wouldn’t remember about the wizarding world unless someone pointed them out. Firstly this fic is written in canon via the S3 timeline. However it’s not identical and the way its framed via HP folklore makes it really refreshing. So things I love about this fic. The whole explanation behind enchanted portraits was bellissimo. The usage of the room of requirement was so perfect to me and I adore the sorta of the homage to the original concept of a safe place. The origins background to both Robbe and Sander is really cool and their life interest. Of course Sander is on the Quidditch team and Robbe is our lonely boy with an uncool hobby. I don’t want to give to much away because the HP nuggets in this fic will be appreciated greatly by hard core HP stans.

Sobbe hogwarts au (ITW) by Sassywarlock29 (PG-13)

Forget the Hogwarts lore and just give me sobbe making out in the Gryffindor corridor and getting house points deducted because they can’t keep their hands to themselves in the great hall. This fic is swift and to the point with a spoonful of HP.

Sander Driesen and The Mortifying Ordeal of Being Known (ITW) by @supersoaker111 (PG)

Woah thats cool, is all I gotta say. There is some real interesting lore that is occurring in this fic about possible dangerous spells that help aid the troubled mind. DAMN!! I would love to see this fic completed because I really love the direction its going and also I live for when Robbe and Sander don’t go home for winter break and have the castle all to themselves. Howler scene was amazing too and I laugh at the idea of Sander tutoring anyone. Also very interesting house choices overall not sure I agree but unexpected and surprising for sure.

Presented in a kinda of pseudo clip style. Baby Robbe is a seeker he’s actually the best seeker to grace Hogwarts in some time. Sander & Lucas NL are related. VDS makes a cameo if your looking for VDS HP crossover. I love that Sander is pretentious in this world too and thinks quidditch is beneath him hahahaha. Nice one author I couldn’t stop laughing at that. Most of the lore in this fic is very quidditch centric but it makes sense since Robbe is the star jock at Hogwarts.

Say it with me people exposition, exposition, exposition. Did I know that I needed to know what a bar looks like in the 9th circle of hell? NO, but did luludemauryyy describe it in the most vivid unbelievable way? Hell yes, they did. This author and maybe a couple of more really focus on exposition writing and give you so much world building its really inspiring to read. They are a master of this style. Also the conflict being brewed between angels and demons and purgatory being their in-between meeting point is engaging and am screaming for an update.

New addition & just dropped on AO3 but the summary says demigod Robbe and I am ready!! I love the concept already of Robbe’s mama being a goddess and is Sander maybe a rival demigod checking out his competition in class? I think he may be. Cool concept will definitely be updating this review once more chapters get added.

FULL NAME: Leon Belmont

BIRTHPLACE & BIRTHDATE: Carnac, Brittany; July 22nd 1072

GUILTY PLEASURES: Poetry. He’s a romantic at heart, even with the kind of life and upbringing he’s had and that much is reflected in this particular thing he reads for leisure.

PHOBIAS: The loss of his loved ones and the powerlessness to prevent it happening; he can be almighty in battle, but he cannot stop death. Watching it eat away at Mathias for an entire year during his sickness as well as his inability to save Sara only worsened that fear in him. After the events of Lament of Innocence, the fear of his children (and later ancestors) growing to resent him for the burden he has placed upon their shoulders is a very prevalent one even if such a legacy is one he knows the world needs. A part of him sometimes fears as well that Sara’s sacrifice will have wound up being in vain.

WHAT THEY WOULD BE INFAMOUS FOR: Obviously, Leon is a very prominent figure of his time, hailed as the greatest warrior of his country and earning the title the Lion of France; his reputation only becomes more notorious after his sudden dismissal of the church and his legendary rivalry with Dracula, as well as being the Belmont to begin the family tradition of vampire hunting, which upon entering Wallachia reaches a height of acclaim all its own.

Though rumours about Leon’s strange gifts, namely the amateur use of alchemy and magic, certainly cause a stir all their own upon making landfall in Romania. Quite sure that France has some varying opinions of him now after his abandonment of the church and the knighthood--a hearty loss for the people, if nothing else.

WHAT HAVE THEY/WOULD THEY HAVE GOTTEN ARRESTED FOR: Leon has always been law abiding and honourable, though we already know the price the Belmonts pay for him beginning the family’s tradition of using magic.

CHARACTER YOU SHIP THEM WITH: Nobody is surprised by my first answer being Mathias lmao. I was admittedly magnetised to the potential between these two almost immediately, which has only deepened with the opportunity to plot and RP with my lovely Mathias @notte-la-lagna. These two are a rich, tangled web of a story to say the least with some of the most soul-crushing elements of tragedy I’ve ever played out in a ship before. They are a joy as much as they are the death of me.

And of course, his love for Sara is undeniable as well as being equally as heartbreaking, even if the games didn’t give us a whole lot of story to work with there and I have not explored their relationship much outside my own headcanons. There is a very sad poetry to her becoming Leon’s guardian angel in the form of the Vampire Killer, and Leon’s selflessness in the pursuit of her rescue is nothing short of touching.

CHARACTER MOST LIKELY TO MURDER THEM: I’m pretty sure there’s only really Joachim or Walter that would have taken immense pleasure in killing him, even if they failed in that endeavour. Given that Mathias went into hiding after his betrayal of Leon, I can’t say with much confidence even from a canon perspective that he would have been in a hurry to kill his old friend.

FAVOURITE BOOK GENRE: Poetry, Historical Documents, Mythology and General Fiction

LEAST FAVOURITE BOOK CLICHÉ: Heroes that have everything fall into their lap, or artificially slanted in their favour from the start, despite the author’s attempt to make it seem they are challenged by the plot.

TALENTS OR POWERS: As a soldier, he is obviously possessed of some pretty impressive swordsmanship and knowledge of most actual weapons and their uses; his physical prowess by itself in general is unmatched among his peers. And though he is quite novice to the practice, he has grasped the ability to use magic since his gauntlet was enchanted by Rinaldo and has begun practising the applications of alchemy which also grant him additional advantages in battle. 

WHY SOMEONE MIGHT LOVE THEM: He is a genuine, kind, compassionate man. There are no lengths he won’t go to for the people in his life, evidenced in how quickly he was willing to throw away his wealth, fame and his life as he knew it to save his fiance--plus how quickly he musters sympathy and attachment for Rinaldo throughout the course of the game. Leon is a man with a heart of gold to say the least, and I feel like his Netflix cameo (brief as it was) has aided in giving his position as the Patriarch of the Belmont clan a certain sense of gravity and real weight that it otherwise lacked in the game. He has a certain noble and, as I’ve heard some people say, an almost angelic quality, despite being merely a flawed and hard done-by human. If not a tenacious and acclaimed one. The drama of his backstory with Mathias also makes for a fantastically interesting concept for the origins of his family and their war against Dracula. He’s really just quite an attractive concept in some ways!

I do think those of us that care about Leon in this fandom sympathise deeply with just how much he’s suffered, too. But there’s also some inspiration to be taken in the fact that Leon does not let his losses make his heart cold. For all that he has lost and all the hurt that he has felt, he didn’t let it consume him in the way Mathias did, choosing to uphold his humanity and his belief in the inherent goodness of it. In my circle, at least, we love him as a symbol of light, hope, and rising above our sufferings. 

WHY SOMEONE MIGHT HATE THEM: Because the game is a fucking joke and makes Leon look like a complete and utter moron for its entirety, save a few sparse glimpses of promise. Leon seems to be a contentious character in the fandom for multiple reasons, though I’m willing to bet the game’s God-awful presentation of his person is what put the nail in the coffin for a lot of people at least at first. Drab voice acting, awkward dialogue, laughably foolish characters, this game really is a piece of work. And that’s sad, since it has such amazing potential if only given a bit more polish. But alas, the game is not greater than the sum of its parts. I really don’t think the game did any of its characters justice in any regard, nor its story. Leon was not the kind of character I had built him up to be in my head upon being introduced to him and reading about him, to say the least.

But I suppose even in a perfect world where Leon had an updated personality and well fleshed out story in the Netflix show (pls), then people I believe would take issue with his naivety? I do think there is always going to be a certain element of it to his character after all--his innocent nature being the entire namesake of his game--and that leads him to some very misguided doings, beliefs and consequences. He is not stupid, but he is guileless in many ways.

HOW THEY CHANGE: His change is perhaps not as dramatic as some, but is quite gargantuan no less. He changes from an esteemed, naive puppet of the church to a scorned but resolute saviour of mankind; a protector of a different stamp, for sure, but a protector nonetheless. One that is wiser but not less kind. He sheds much of his old naivety after Mathias’ betrayal, and he shapes himself into the kind of father he knows his children need in order to perpetuate his teachings and see that it lasts well after he is dead and gone. Though there is always a certain tenderness Leon holds to his heart, he is quite a different man come the time to raise his own children--living up much more to a sort of sagely, wiseman figure than the guileless youth he was at the beginning of his journey where he was the one in need of guidance. 

WHY YOU LOVE THEM: Because he represents so much in the grand scheme of things in Castlevania’s story, for one thing. And because his character is, when divorced from the laughable absurdity of the game, so very charming. He is a fount of potential that was never lived up to as well as it could have been, which is always an irresistible challenge for me as one that loves to explore and fill in the blanks with characters that aren’t well loved by their own source material! At face value, Leon is a very interesting figure in the story, and of course, you can’t have him without Mathias--those two together with their heartbreaking backstory makes for a positively tantalising concoction that has me weak.

Ship-A-Thon

I was tagged by @thereluctantinquisitor, @saphyremelodies, and @empresstress13​ (which makes sense, given the ships lol) I am so late to this party that idk who to tag im SORRY. Please tag yourself for me if u wanna and I’ll be grateful <3 

1. First ship you ever wrote fic for: Solavellan. My feelings about how DAI resolved were what drew me to this hellsite. It took a while for me to actually start writing outright, but I’m assuming it would have been content for them. (Don’t know that I’d consider any of it ship fic, though.)

2. Ship you write the most now: Mostly OC x OC ships atm, since those characters can grow dynamically, I have a collaborator, and they aren’t so played out. Hanavira (Avira x @thereluctantinquisitor​’s Hanin Lavellan) To summarize the novels worth of content, they’re distant clanmates who came together to solve the unjust massacre of their clan with Armor and Secrets and Ducklings (ie. the Dawn Squad). Despite their very different approaches, they clear up old misunderstandings, find their ideals and worldviews are much the same, and learn that when they manage to open up to one another, their complementary strengths have the capacity to make each other better.

Thelvira (Avira x @saphyremelodies​ Thelrand Lavellan) He was one of the first people to the scene when she was found near death on the outskirts of clan territory. She was one of the few people who could go toe-to-toe with him in an argument and come out unscathed. And though he may have been cocky and controlling at times, he was always there to get Avira out of whatever trouble she got herself (and Sylathi) into. Perhaps more than anyone, he knew Avira for her true self, before the Inquisition shaped her into what she is, and she was able to cut through the charisma and affirm his inherent worth, expectations be damned. Even though he ultimately chose to end things, that emotional mooring only grew more precious to her as time passed.

3. Ship you read the most now: I don’t know! I haven’t been reading much lately, so it’s pretty much just whatever my mutuals are posting at the moment.

4. Newest ship: Malrus!!! (Maleus x @thereluctantinquisitor​‘s Cyrus). Worst ship name ever, but it stuck because we reap what we sow. They had this bonding moment in a recent bit of RP, and I came away feeling like they would both be good for each other, given how surprisingly deeply they were able to connect over their pasts and reassure each other. Excited to see where this goes/if it goes.

5. Rare ship you wanna read more of:

@lechatrouge673​‘s Thea (nee Trevelyan) x Loghain Mac Tir. I’ll admit, I was never even a Loghain fan until I read her work.

@szajnie has SUCH an interesting dynamic for her Warden, Elspeth Cousland x Hawke. I’m here for it.

@idrelle-miocovani‘s Rhea Tabris x Daveth. Didn’t know I needed this. AND YET (my god i need to have a marathon and catch up on this bc I still think abt it all the time!)

6. Your taboo ship: I don’t think I ship anything taboo? How boring am I. I have plenty of ships that don’t do it for me, but that’s not quite the same.

7. They never met in canon ship:   Talira: (Avira Vedaris x @saphyremelodies​‘ Talim Vaharel) If she gets blighted leaving Amaranthine and has to undergo the Joining, she eventually meets Talim when she goes for training in Orlais and catches Feelings. Talim overcomes his fear of opening himself up to love again (after being exiled away from his bondmate and family), even knowing the Calling will rip it all away again. Avira lives out her remaining years honoring his memory and preventing the wardens who follow from ever having to die alone or forgotten in the Deep Roads.

8.Your unexpected ship:

Thelvira: @saphyremelodies​, we didn’t even set out for these two, REMEMBER!? He was a CAMEO. Alas, if there can be UST over prepping a ram for a feast, there can be UST anywhere, and so it was that we learned Thel was bi and Avi was into him.

Malrus: @thereluctantinquisitor​ these two snuck up on me and I am so far 1000% here for it.

Katsuma: @leothelionsaysgrrrr I was absolutely shocked that I hadn’t considered them before, but I think they just WORK. Freaking dorks, concerning Lux and Avi with their utter comfort discussing the morbid physics of death and combat. It’s perfect. I love that they can be unapologetically themselves around one another.

9. The ship you always forget to give love to: Tasami: (@saphyremelodies​’ Tamralan x Astaramai) I was sitting here trying to think of reasons, but there are no good ones. They have a mature, understated dynamic that is a breath of fresh air. Lots can go unsaid, which I love. There are plenty of challenges ahead of them, and they don’t always get a happy ending, but it’s good while it’s good.

11. Ship you’re embarrassed to ship: Solavellan. The characters themselves, as they are in game, have great narrative potential, but fandom has wandered so far off into ooc fanon over the years that the ship I see on my dash is one I barely recognize (and often makes me cringe).

12. Your most romantic ship: Malathi, Malephine, Malrus, Watermalon (Maleus x @thereluctantinquisitor‘s Ralon) ...Anything involving Maleus, tbph. He is the High Romance guy.

13. Your sexiest ship: Thelvira, hands down. (Avira x @saphyremelodies​ Thelrand Lavellan). Or if we’re being REAL sexy, Thelavuro (Thelrand x Katsuro x Avi, even though it only exists in AUs of AUs lol). Basically anything with Thelrand becomes sexy because he MAKES it so.

14. Your most tragic ship: Solavira. In different circumstances, they could have been happy together. And they were, for a time. But the lies and secrets couldn’t hold, and despite obvious mutual affection and regret, trust eroded and it had to end. Now, though their conflicting duties have driven them further apart, their once intimate knowledge of one another have forged them very reluctant, dangerous enemies.

15. A ship you want more content for:

Charter x Tessa Forsythia. Mostly because I love Charter with my entire heart and soul and Tessa is a precious bean and deserves happiness too.

Also need more Marius x Calpernia. For reasons. But I think I’d have to write it for that to happen.

I need to write more Gael Hawke, Elyon Andras, and Luca Tabris to figure out their ships (if they have any). I also need to write Lynmyath with her bondmate when they were younger, since they were SUPER in love.

The best thing about being an adult is the freedom.  If I want to buy something, I have the means to buy it, and if I want to go on a trip, I can go.  

The worst part is the, uh... lack of freedom.  8D  Just because I can go somewhere doesn’t mean I don’t still have a boatload of people telling me I shouldn’t.  If I have any advice for my younger followers, it’s that you should follow your dreams as soon as you can.  If I could go back, I would’ve taken a traveling job right out of college, and I would’ve been a lot happier.  Now, I’m locked into staying in a place that I hate, surrounded by negativity -- which is why I’m so against negativity on my blog!  I get it enough in my day-to-day lol.  

But yeah, my adult advice is to do what makes you the happiest and remember to budget responsibly so you won’t have to worry about the bill part of being an adult.  And build your credit.  I can’t stress how important that is.  I know this wasn’t really an advice question, but it’s 4AM so I just went off the rails with it.

I’m with you, anon.  Monsters definitely have white souls.  However, I know that a lot of people tend to assign soul traits to monsters via their magic preferences, which I’m totally for.  I wrote a bit about magic colors and why a monster’s magic (i.e. ecto tongue, etc) may manifest in a specific color during the Stretch/Red/Landlady date in SSLL.

The best TimSteph fic bar none.  A totally believable and adorable way of getting the two back together after the end of their batgirl/red robin solo runs.  The fic is chock a block with references to earlier issues and fan theories, such as the Dr Midnight actually being Red Robin that saved Steph from the Black Mercy, their date in Robin #111 and their first date ever to the cinema.  It’s just...really good.  

Countdown to a Bad Idea by Nimravidae

Stephanie has that feeling in her gut that says she's either about thirty seconds away from making a bad decision. It's the feeling she gets right before she jumps off a rooftop or into a den of criminals. Or when Tim Drake is standing too close.

Anther fic depicting them getting back together after their solos, but this time a little less smoothly.  This one is explicit again, so be mindful when reading.

Written just after Tim ‘kicked the bucket’ and has the gut punchiest ending.  Thankfully as of the end of Tynion’s run the two have got their happily ever after (for now grumblegrumble) but at the time this was 100% pure ooOWWWww??!?!

Tim would like everyone to know that he really hates catchphrases. (Please make her stop.)

Written during Batman Eternal and details what could have been the first meeting between Spoiler and Red Robin in the New52.  Sweet as candy floss ending and to be honest my headcanon of their relationship before they got together proper by the beginning of Rebirth.  Afterall, Red Robin met Steph in Batman Eternal, Spoiler and Red Robin may have met at a different time...

**Bird all Sing (as if they knew) by anonymous**

"How do you spell 'engagement'?"   "Who are you texting?"   "Tim."

Bruce get it into his head that Tim is going to propose to Stephanie at aged 19 after finding an big ass ring in his closet.  Not quite a TimSteph focus fic, as Stephanie only appears through one text conversation with Bruce (and it is a golden conversation).  The fic is more about Bruce’s inability to let Tim live his own life, pushing him to move back to the manor or go to college, whilst Tim is quite content to continue working at WE, getting joint tattoos with Steph and preparing to move from an apartment to a townhouse.  Miscommunication leads to hilarity and arguments.  Seriously this is one of the funniest batfam fics I have ever read, but also one of the more heartbreaking.  Bruce means well, but can’t bring himself to actually ask about the ring, leading to him belittling everything about Tim’s existence in an effort to prove that he’s too young ‘to be making such big decisions’.  Cass and Damian also make quick (hilarious) cameos.  Not complete yet, but patiently waiting for the ending hinted at in the tags (no rush though anon, it’s glorious as is) 

Midnight Talks, Chapter Six by ShariDeschain

Damian's family loves him. Sometimes they even say it (or come really, really, really close to say it, at least).

Like above, this is a fic less where TimSteph is the main focus, but rather this time it is Stephanie and Damian. Set during the Batman Reborn era, it takes a really good look at what a good influence Stephanie is on Damian.  I’ve included this in this list a)because it is very good, and b) Damian’s attitude to Tim can be softened through Stephanie.  There’s a fantastic conversation at the end regarding how Stephanie is viewed by Damian, and how Tim can be useful in this one (1) regard: if Tim marries Stephanie, then Damian can safely claim her as his sister.  After that Tim is fair game for murder but-

Heroes and Thieves by starspatter

A story about second chances, healing, and having hope.

One of my fave things about the DCAU is the hints that Tim’s wife is Stephanie Brown (blonde, wears purple, knows all about his past adventures...yeah it’s Steph) and that they do get their happy ending. Set in the DCAU this covers Tim’s efforts to get on with his life after the Return of the Joker film, and how Stephanie plays a major role in this.  A WIP, and only five chapters in, this story updates slowly but is well worth the wait, as it is already nearly 25,000 words long.  Long TimSteph fics are a rare find, and this is shaping up to be the best of the bunch.

Thanks to Tynions efforts on Tec there are more TimSteph being written, especially ones where they aren’t the main focus, but are present in the background, which I am pleased to see more and more of.  Where Tim and Steph appears, it’s a given that they are either together or love one another, or at the very least are each others closest friend.   No more sweeping Steph under the rug because she’s inconvenient you hear me!

Here is what is believed: that Leia Organa has been abandoned by her husband and her brother, the two men who loved her best, in her time of greatest need. But things are not always as they seem. A TFA fix-it fic about family, the Force, and the love that could save the galaxy. Again. Also features Luke, Chewbacca, Rey, Finn, and mentions or cameos by several others.

I love the new Star Wars movies, I do. But this fic treats Han, Leia, and Luke so much better than TFA does. Please go read this pure perfection of a work and give it all the love it deserves. While you’re at it, check out... Everything else @lajulie24 has written; it’s all golden.

Because sometimes a split second decision changes a life… One night, Rosalie Hale walked a different way home. Because of this, she didn’t meet Royce on the road and the worst night of Rosalie’s life happened to someone else. So what happened when Rosalie was never hurt, never turned vampire, and got everything she had always thought she wanted?

I love a good AU, and Rosalie and Emmett seem the best suited for one. Their connection is amazing and well-written and honestly, everything makes sense to me. Josh goes to dinner with his old law school study group. He ends up defending the institution of marriage, before going home to Donna. Set in the Santos administration.

Not gonna lie, this is a behemoth-- two chapters that come out at like 70k which like, damn, most of my one-shots aren’t even 1500 words, you get props for that alone. However, every word is perfect. There’s lot of pining, and hey, Percy Jackson with anxiety? Works. I saw my own anxiety reflected all over the place which... Was not the main reason I fell in love with this fic, but it’s nice to be recognized, you know? No, I fell in love with this fic because it’s about falling in love and making friends and growing up. And it’s beautiful, so go read it. TW: Anxiety attacks (Is that a tw? Oh well)

This author expertly adapts the plotting and relationships into this scenario, which takes place after the Red Wedding-- which, in this world, involved Robb getting arrested and put away for life-- and most of the action surrounds the kidnapping of Jaime Lannister, though no one knows who did it. I’m not actually certain if this series is finished or not, but it leaves me reeling from unanswered questions and its overall beauty every time I finish the last story, so you should check it out so we can all share the pain. TW: I mean it’s Game of Thrones so like a lot of that stuff still applies

Sebastian thinking of how everyone else sees him as deeply caring for Ciel's wellbeing, which he does with only one intent in mind - seasoning Ciel's soul to add to the 'delicacy' level he desires. Ciel knows this, so even despite living together for three years, he knows Sebastian's 'worrying' and 'affection' are all feints. However, maybe after a particularly bad nightmare, or after Sebastian doing something kind out of apparently no reason, Ciel seems to genuinely be grateful. What are Sebastian's thoughts on this? Maybe something dark and manipulating, kind of in the league of his words in the Green Witch arc when he's burning the laboratory? Or the other way around? Your choice. What I meant with no shipping is because I would prefer if this 'affection' I mentioned wouldn't be taken by you as romantic.

1. What would you get arrested for on the Ark? 

Protests? Can you get arrested for that on the Ark?

I dunno. I have a very strong personality I’d probably get into to some kind of trouble politically on the Ark 2. Would you take off your wristband when you landed on the ground? 

Nah. I’m very much alike with Clarke in the way I think and as much as I may like to stick my middle finger up at the council if I was sent down on the dropship, I think I would see the value in having the Ark (aka. a functioning society) follow us down to the ground. I would be scared out of my mind of the Grounders - back up would be nice. 3. What would the necklace Finn would make for you look like? (Clarke: deer/Raven: a raven duh..)

4. If you could resurrect any MINOR character who would it be? 

Maya. I understand that her surviving doesn’t really make any sense and they needed her to die for jasper’s arc or whatever BUT TBH SHE HAD SO MUCH POTENTIAL??? Like, I stanned her team-up with Bellamy so hard; I’d literally sell my soul to satan for her to be incorporated into the delinquent’s group. Can you imagine her suiting up and going on hunting missions with Harper? Attending Lincoln and Bell’s sparring lessons? Sharing her music with Gina at the bar????? Helping out Abby and Jackson in medical???? Having heart to hearts with Clarke about her mom (and Clarke’s dad), who both died rebelling against the system??? Cracking jokes with Monty?? imagine if she went up to space with the squad, and what their relationship could have been like then! She could be their medic on board. 

People always simplify Maya to her relationship with Jasper (and yes they were cute) but SHE COULD HAVE BEEN SO MUCH MORE. She was smart and courageous and selfless - she had fire and wit and strength and i m i s s her. 

She’ll never see Earth, never breathe real air, never float on the water, never meet Riley 

We’ll never get to see her grow up and it makes me sad

5. Create a squad of 5 characters to go on missions with. Who are they? 

Raven and Monty because they’re GENIUSES obviously.

Definitely relate the most to my INTJ queen Clarke Griffin! 

And Octavia is probably my least favourite character. I can see why some people like her and the merit in her character arc I guess but tbh she just IRRITATES me to no end - she has certain characteristics that really grate at me. Obviously, some characters are horrible people (like Dr. Tsing ew) but Octavia just infuriates me because of some of her characteristics.

She’s not for me. 11. Describe your delinquent outfit. (Would you wear something like Murphy’s jacket with the spikey red shoulder patch or have a trademark like Jasper’s goggles? Be creative, yet practical) 

Something practical cause I’m boring. 

Cargo pants. Ark-issued t-shirt. And a nice warm jacket. The jackets the characters wear on this show are pathetic - they barely look like they keep the wind out. And only Bellamy zips his up. smh vancouver is colder than it looks - all that humidity

As for a trademark thing?

I think I’d follow in Raven/Monty’s paths a bit and go into something mathematical like engineering but knowing myself I’d probably end up moving into politics later on. None of the individual leaders on this show have done a good job. They’ve always functioned best as a team (which is why I want the Bellarke leader couple back) 16. If you were a grounder, then where would you live and who would be your mentor? 

I mean I know she went all cray cray and they all died but probably Luna’s rig. I don’t want shit to do with the other clans, who are always warring with each other. And I think Nyko would be a pretty good mentor. I’d like to learn medicine.  17. How would you act if you ate the hallucinogenic nuts like Jasper and Monty? 

Let’s be real, I’d probably start crying about how Bellamy and Clarke are in love and wHy cAn’T tHeY jUSt bAnG aLrEAdY ... and Finn would be real mad about it if he was in charge of picking my ass off the floor like in “Day Trip”

I mean ... I definitely wouldn’t lead a manhunt to kill a thirteen year old girl so I can say with a lot of confidence that I would NOT follow the Murphy route. Not so sure I’d just pardon her though. I think the delinquents needed some kind of prison system. Charlotte did murder a kid. Even though she was a child, there probably should have been some kind of consequence for that (though not killing her would be ideal) 19. Who should be the Chancellor, if anyone?

Yeah. I feel like we’re kind of past this point in the plot. They’ve both showed development and change and I think we’re definitely at a place in the story where both of them are intended as sympathetic characters to the audience. 25. If one of the characters was in the Hunger Games, who would have the best shot at winning? NOOOOO ALREADY SO MUCH DEATH NOOOO 

I’m going to answer this as if all of our characters were thrown into the ring and I have to predict which one would win. 

I wanna say Octavia because I think she’s independent and - er - determined enough to take out someone she knows if it came down to being the two of them to grant her own freedom and survival. Whereas, someone like Clarke or Bellamy or Kane would probably just nightlock it cause they’re self-sacrificial af. 

But then I also think maybe Murphy ‘cause cockroaches never die (thank you Raven). 26. Least favorite ship? Favorite ship? NOT INCLUDING CL OR BC

I don’t really ship anything besides Bellarke that much. They’re an anomaly for me. 27. A song that should be included in the next season, like when Radioactive was? If there had to be another guest star like Shawn Mendes on the show, who would you want to make a cameo?

I mostly only associate songs I listen to with Bellarke when I’m applying them to the show so I’ve got like 100+ songs that I would love to use for them but its hard to think of a context where they would fit in with the tone of the show

29. Opinion on Emori? Roan? 

I don’t really have a strong opinion on Emori. I feel like our knowledge of her is still so limited. She’s still barely interacted with anyone besides Murphy. But I’m guessing that may change in Season 5. I’d like to see her interact more with Bellamy, since they both have siblings (and Emori was the disgraced child too, just like O). Not many people can relate in that sense.

I really liked Roan but TO BE HONEST I found him more intriguing in Season 3 than in Season 4. He was literally up there in like my top four or five characters in Season 3 - I was so excited to learn more about him! In Season 4 he didn’t have much of a character arc, he was just kind of there to look moody and badass.

But honestly Roan is one of those characters that I don’t think was necessarily intended to be funny (as opposed to characters like Jasper and Wick) but his interactions with Clarke, Bellamy, and Echo offered up the occasional piece of comedy gold. He went too soon. Forever mourning the bromance that he and Bellamy could have had.

30. Would you want to be an extra that is killed off in a brutal way?

YEAH, YOU DID READ THAT RIGHT. This story broke my heart, but becasue I am who I am (read: a massive sap), it has a happy ending. It’s Clint’s perspective and so the Clint feels are front and center, but I was thrown by how hard it hit me with the PHEELS. The grief is so well done on Clint’s part, and I love how the author dug right into that, BUT PHIL. 

It’s not the road trip trope you’re expecting. No spoilers, becasue it’s better if you don’t know a ton going in.

Clint and Steve being friends is generally overlooked in a lot of the stuff I’ve read, so every time it pops up in a fic’s tags I’m like, “oh right, this is a thing!”

It’s the most Hawkeye thing I've read in a long time, and I love it. It follows along with MCU movies, too, but GOD. It hurts, and hurts so good. The ending totally melted my soul.

This is amazing. The way they play with the lore/canon of the MCU is incredible, and honestly, that universe is so interesting I wish there was more of it. I audibly when “OOOOHHHH...hell yeah” more than once. Phil is awesome. Clint has a complicated relationship with impulse control. Life is bad ass and messy.

Good Publicity (is worth its weight in tequila) by aftersoon   Words: 18k+ Rating: M

All Phil wanted was a quiet drink. What he got was a devastatingly handsome archer, one meddling boss, and a job in PR for the most destructive team of superheroes he'd ever heard of.

I thought I hated AUs that had Clint as an Avenger and Phil as a civilian, but damn. Add this to the list of things I can’t say anymore. The way he gets tied into the whole team is great, and I loved how involved everyone was. Plus, obviously, Clint. Always. 

If you’re looking for a good Phil-centered fic, and you like AU, definitely don’t skip this one. 

Chilling with the Avengers

Phil gets turned into a corgi. There are emotions involving Clint. That's literally the entire plot.

Tony’s name is in the title. Is it a surprise that I clicked on this story? At this point, it really shouldn’t be.

The corgi!Clint fics in this fandom are the best, and so hell yeah I clicked on a corgi!Phil one. And I am so glad I did, because it’s the cutest thing and so funny. Out of all the recs on this list, this is the one that’s pure fluff and goodness.

Pre-MCU

This One Time in Shanghai by Eligh         Words: 9k+ Rating: E

Clint and Phil just keep on accidentally having sex. And then Phil screws it up with (ugh) feelings.

HELL YEAH HE DOES.  The way this is written is so Phil, and the style/flow of it changes as Phil's understanding of his own feelings change, and it was just so damn well done. Plus, there are expertly done sexytimes with FEELINGS (a lot of both in this fic, tbh). All the love to the author, seriously.

(The cameo in the end had me going: is that...? IT IS.)

My series bookmark just reads: If you haven’t read this series you’re doing so many things wrong. So, clearly, I kinda like it. Just a little. And can I just give all the kudos to the author for making 8 whole works in the series? Bless.

By the time I got to the tags in Part 8 (Anchor Point), I was walking on air.

The first installment is below, and it pretty much cemented my love for the author.

Fifty Pound Draw by shadowen          Words: 30k+  Rating: E

There was always a chance the mission would go wrong.

This fic quite literally builds the relationship from the ground up, and I still vividly remember getting to the end of the very first chapter and thinking, “Oh, Clint”, and wanting to wrap him in a million blankets forever. Dude has been through the ringer.

The final chapter is one of Phil’s mission reports, and holy shit only in this fandom do formal mission reports make me tear up, what the hell. I love Phil so much in this. I mean, I love him always, but the way he’s written here just kills me because the characterization is so spot-on. And so is Clint’s. This is that backstory fic to stomp all backstory fics, and (at least this first part) could be stuck right into the MCU as is with zero change to any of the properties, and that kills me just a little bit more.

And Here’s That Series I Referenced in the Beginning

Landslide by JHSC  Words: 91k+  Rating: E

Clint is seventeen. He has a girlfriend, a baby on the way, and a headlining act in the circus.

Then, he doesn’t.

When I think of amazing OCs, I think of JHSC. The world created here is honestly in a class of it’s own, like an elseworlds tale that my brain just immediately accepts as alternate universe canon - no questions asked. Landslide (and it’s sequel) are very heavy reads, and so I would say know what you can and can’t handle before going into this regarding depression. 

Found family dynamics get me, man, and Landslide is a gut punch. It digs into Clint’s life in a way I don’t often see, and I love this series all the more for how it handles backstory. In my bookmark I rave about the pacing and oh boy, THAT CLIFFHANGER.

Under Pressure by JHSC  WIP, Current Word Count: 83k+   Rating: E 

Barney has a plan: leave the circus, support his family, and get control over his life.

Then his plan gets shot to hell.

I’ll be honest. I hate Barney. Rather, I did, before this fic. Honestly, I knew from how hard I fell for JHSC’s character portraylas las time that there was a good chance it would all happen again, but I’m a little mad about how much I care now.

I will go to the mat for Barney and Paul at this point, and the most recent update was so GOOD. If you want a raw, emotional story that is so real it hurts, but also sweet and romantic, then HERE YA GO. The latest update is getting into THAT CLIFFHANGER in Landslide that left me screaming, and I’m on the edge of my seat for the conclusion, guys, send help.

1. What would you get arrested for on the Ark?  Probably for punching a guard or something, tbh. Maybe starting underground resistance (yikes)

2. Would you take off your wristband when you landed on the ground?  Maybe. 

3. What would the necklace Finn would make for you look like? (Clarke: deer/Raven: a raven duh..)  Probably a fist or some sort of cool resist sign. 

4. If you could resurrect any MINOR character who would it be?  WELLS JAHA DESERVED BETTER. (close second would be Anya) (close third would be Ilian)

5. Create a squad of 5 characters to go on missions with. Who are they? Bellamy, Clarke, Raven, Monty, Miller.

6. Minty or Briller?  Mintyyyyyy all da way. Briller just never did anything for me. 

7. What would your name be in Trigedasleng? (example: Octavia=Okteivia…just make it up!)  Jessei, Jessai, i have no idea. 

8. Thoughts on Finn? I’ll be honest, I was blind when I first started watching and thought Finn was a good guy...until Raven showed up and was like WTF ....and then he massacred a bunch of people. Then I looked back and realized how manipulative he was with Clarke, and what a shitty person he was in general.

9. Be honest. How willing would you have been to take the chip without knowing all the horrible things it does? I don’t think I would have. It wouldn’t really appeal to me. I could see myself giving in if someone I loved was threatened (like Clarke with Abby, I would’ve folded like a lawn chair)  

10. What character do you relate to most & What character do you like the least not including the obvious ones like Pike, etc… I relate to Clarke and Raven the most. I’m bossy and serious like Clarke, but also sassy and passionate like Raven. The character I like the least was (don’t bring out the pitchforks) L/xa. To me, from day 1, she was too bland of a character. It’s like she was always putting on this brave facade that I just never bought into. But I truly love ADC and she’s awesome. I just didn’t believe all of L/xa’s dumb philosophies and thought she wasn’t a good leader. Also, Octavia was on my most hated from the moment she laid her hands on her brother (i will never be over that. bitter 2kforever)

11. Describe your delinquent outfit. (Would you wear something like Murphy’s jacket with the spikey red shoulder patch or have a trademark like Jasper’s goggles? Be creative, yet practical)  I probably would have had a patchy black leather jacket, gray t shirt that read Space Sucks, combat boots, black ripped up jeans, and the jacket would’ve had RESIST stitched onto the back in big letters (or maybe a patch). I like to think I would’ve been a total badass but who knows. 

12. Favorite type of mutant animal?  I don’t think we saw many besides two-headed deer, pauna, and maybe some panthers? Oh, wait! Glowing butterflies, those were cool.   

13. What would your job be on the Ark? Oooooh, I don’t know. Sounds weird, but I would’ve liked to work in the archives/library, making sure all the history was preserved (sounds like a Bellamy thing, I know). But tbh, I probably would be jailed for starting a resistance as a side gig. 

14. Would you have willingly pumped Ontari’s heart if Abby asked?  I’m squeamish, but I would’ve done it to save Clarke (and everyone else in turn). 

15. If Lexa wasn’t Heda, then who would make the best commander?  Hmm, good question. Well I loved Anya and think she could’ve. I think Luna might’ve if she’d given up her weird ways and NOT BEEN TOTALLY RUINED in s4. ALSO LINCOLN (RIP IM NOT OVER IT). If all 3 could’ve led as like a council, that’d be fire. 

16. If you were a grounder, then where would you live and who would be your mentor? Oh god, I don’t know the tribes. Maybe Trishanakru (sp?) just cause Ilian’s such a hottie and it would’ve been cool to be friends. 

17. How would you act if you ate the hallucinogenic nuts like Jasper and Monty?  I’d probably dare everyone to go jump off a waterfall with me (but like a small one)

18. How would you have dealt with Charlotte’s crime? A more John Murphy approach or Bellamy Blake?  Uggggghhhh, this is hard. Listen, neither method worked. Charlotte wouldn’t have survived on her own and Murphy’s dumb. Maybe like a jail or something they could’ve kept her in? Idk, there’s too many things that went wrong with all that. 

19. Who should be the Chancellor, if anyone?  Anyone at all? Crap, I don’t think there should just be one, it’s too much power. I like the idea of council/committee with the mains like Bellamy, Clarke, Kane, Abby, uhh idk who else. 

20. Mount Weather had a lot of modern commodities. (example: Maya’s Ipod) What is the one thing you would snatch while there?  Headphones to escape all the drama, probably. Maybe some good hiking gear because goddammit how do they all travel through all these jungles/woods? 

21. Do you think you’d have caught the virus spread through camp or would you have been immune like Octavia?  I would’ve caught it probs. 

22. What would your grounder tattoos look like? Hairstyle? War paint? I’d have just cool geo shape tattoos probably. I’d wear a high pony because how do the girls deal with humidity/sweat wearing it down???? My hair is hella thick, so no thanks. War paint would probably just be a few lines on my cheeks, maybe diagonals. 

23. Favorite quote?  I CAN’T JUST CHOOSE ONE. OH GOD MY HEART LITERALLY HURTS AT ALL THE ONES I LOVE. (this deserves its own post tbh)

24. Can you forgive Murphy for his actions? How about Bellamy?  Murphy’s a real pain in my side. Full offense, I hate that we move on so easily from a white boy’s VERY SIGNIFICANT MISTAKES, yet poor POC Bellamy has to keep suffering from the repercussions. Like Murphy LITERALLY permanently damaged Raven’s body yet they’re cool now? Idk, I hold grudges, and I don’t think I’d be able to let it go. Kudos to Raven, ig. Though I won’t hesitate to admit that Bellamy has royally fucked up too, from the radio to the army (which happened in a season I hate altogether). It just seems like we forgive Murphy much easier than Bellamy and it kills me. Whooo, sorry for that. 

25. If one of the characters was in the Hunger Games, who would have the best shot at winning? Hmm, I was gonna say Bellamy but he’s a real softie. Clarke is sneaky and sometimes heartless, so maybe her. BUT ACTUALLY Octavia would because she’s absolutely bat-shit crazy.

26. Least favorite ship? Favorite ship? NOT INCLUDING CLEXA OR BELLARKE  Aww crap. I didn’t like Flarke. Fave ship (that never happened) was Ice Mechanic, like imagine the chemistry/hotness. Ugh, still upset about this. Fave canon would be Kabby, I guess? They’re great, but it’s weird to think Kane had Abby tortured. Idk (Y’all know I’m ride or die Bellarke). I was conflicted for a long time about Linctavia because I loved them but when you boil it down, he was way older than her and it seemed kinda Stockholm Syndrome-y? Plus, she turns psycho and he would’ve hated it. IDK ALL SHIPS ARE PROBLEMATIC DAMMIT.

27. A song that should be included in the next season, like when Radioactive was? If there had to be another guest star like Shawn Mendes on the show, who would you want to make a cameo?  Lindsay said Home II by Dotan and I 100% agree because that song is amazing and would work so well for S5. Oooh, cameos! Um CAN YOU IMAGINE IF STEPHEN KING JUST SHOWED UP OUT OF THE BLUE? Like I would die. Or Kass Morgan, the original creator! 

28. What would you do if you were stuck in the bunker with Murphy for all that time?  Honestly, I’d probably be very annoyed and want to be far away from him. BUT if we did warm up to each other, I think we’d bond over cooking (if there was any food). 

29.Opinion on Emori? Roan?  Both badasses. Kinda indifferent on them actually. Like I don’t love or hate them. 

30. Would you want to be an extra that is killed off in a brutal way?  Yeah, sure. It’d be cool if it was memorable, poignant, and really related to/impacted the storyline. High hopes, amirite? 

31. A character you’d like to learn more about and get flashbacks of? Raven, I think. All her flashbacks were related to Finn and I hated it. WHO WAS SHE BESIDES FINN’S GIRLFRIEND? Show us her mess of a mom, how her love for science started, how she became a mechanic! God, there’s so much we don’t know. 

32. A character you’d bang?  BELLAMY FUCKING BLAKE, ladies and gents.

I hold this story dear to my heart, because there's really fuck all for this ship, so clearly I had to do something about it. It's technically done, but I got super busy earlier this year with cosplay, then got sick, then flat out got stuck on a chapter I hated. I'm 2/3s done with rewriting said chapter. Hopefully after that, it's smooth sailing and all I need to do is edit chapters and post them, but man... seriously... fuck that one chapter.

Sing to Me - a Setzer-centric fic I started last year and... kinda forgot about. It spans the length of his life and focuses on his love for both opera and the ladies who have come and gone along the way. It's only going to be four chapters, but... my life imploded back when I started doing this and then my interest went elsewhere. I will get back to this eventually.

I have a lot of drabble collections that I haven't finished (Drafts, Antes, and Skylines & Revelry) along with short story collections (Fire Soul in Love and Wings of Valor and Compassion), but I only really update those when inspiration strikes.

The rest of my WIPs aren't really posted yet and um... I have this huge, irrational superstition about not revealing titles of things I haven't posted yet. I can't explain it, I just can't stand calling WIPs by their title until it's 100% done. So here's what I got....

OT3 fic - Setzer/Darill/Maria centric. Pre-canon goodness and lots and lots and LOTS of porn. With plot. But still, almost every chapter has sex. I sent this to my braintwin to beta read (which... was a while ago? I'll poke her to check on progress. I think we both got distracted), so just waiting for feedback before editing again and posting. I'd like to finish Darkness/Starlight before posting this one. I actually like this one more than Darkness/Starlight, too.

Post-canon Relm fic - I don't know where the idea came from, but I got inspired to do a multichapter fic about Relm and what she does after the game. I relate with her a lot now that I'm older and there are a lot of topics to touch on with her post-canon that hit really close to home with me. So I sense this will become a personal fic, but I hope I get back to it. I don't think a lot of people care about Relm, but... oh well, I want to write this for me.

Pre-canon Rinoa fic - says it all, really. I wrote this initially for the Successor challenge last year and... yeah. Not dying trumped fics. It's all written, I just need to edit it. This will turn into a series of sorts, because there were other things I wanted to touch on both mid-canon and post-canon, which would all follow the same timeline and events. I'd love to get back into it.

The rest of my WIPS... aren't written yet, but I have outlines and research drafted out, so that counts, right?

Sailor Moon/Shadowrun fusion crossover - I've been jotting down notes for this for maybe two years now. I love both fandoms and got struck hard with inspiration to do this. Basically the Sailor Moon characters in the Shadowrun world, but instead of being senshi, they're just Shadowrunners and the villains are CEOs of the megacorps and yeah. I really want to sit down and write it. I have character info jotted down for all the main characters and the story outlined. Just need to do it (Rei is the POV character, too, and there will be lots of Rei/Minako, because reasons).

Transistor pre-canon - This was for Transistor week last year and... yeah. Boyfriend almost dying trumps fics. sigh... but I haven't forgotten what I want to do. It's essentially what all the characters are doing before Red's performance at the Empty Set. So many feels. Shouldn't be that long (for me, anyways).

Transistor AU - I have so many notes on an AU where Red is stuck in the Transistor and Royce is the one who loses his voice and is carting around the Transistor. Canon compliant, but still diverts here and there. Hope it's something people would want to read.

RWBY Canon Divergent thing - I really hate writing fics when I haven't completely consumed everything of the source material. Then again, RWBY is ongoing so... I guess it's to be expected? It's an Oscar-centric fic that goes over his time with Glynda as she trains and prepares him for the final fight ahead and him slowly realizing the connection between them along with his own feelings for Glynda and all the angsty bullshit that comes with it. No, there's no underaged bullshit. It takes place over the course of ten years, so by the time those two ever get to that talk, Oscar is a lot older. I have most of the outline plotted out along with my own headcanons for how the whole Oscar and Ozpin thing goes, so... yeah. We'll see.

Pyre modern day musician AU - This one hit me in the face one day at work and I've jotted down more extensive notes than are probably called for. Tariq/Celeste-centric where Tariq is a famous musician and finds Celeste playing at a local lounge while on tour. The two connect, though he needs to continue his tour and she needs to keep working her day job to put food on the table, but they manage to reconnect each time he comes back to the city while on tour. Will have many Pyre cameos. I might do this for NaNoWriMo this year. Not sure. I just love them don't judge me.
