hell-o fifteen year old here (doesn't really fit into the definition of child nut i know most of the people here are older anyhow) and i have been trying to but- does anything know how torrenting works? i was able to download the program needed but couldn't really figure out how to make it past after that
this is stupid but I genuinely worry that kids ARE being priced out of video games like. totk is heavily sanitized to maintain a particular rating that often works against itself but like, I struggle to imagine the kid who's approaching their parents like "one hundred dollars for a video game please" my biggest gaming triumph was in high school when my parents bought us an xbox 360 and one game. we got the wii as it was going out of style and played primarily gamecube games on it, and even back then to buy a new gamecube game or a DS game was a twenty dollar endeavour. what kind of slideshow does a ten year old have to present in order to convince their parents to drop a hundie on legend of zelda.

Is it just me, or do y’all also sorta wish that Jackson had filmed Appendix B as the actual ending of ROTK? Clearly, as you’ll see, I have relatively normal feelings about this.
I understand and appreciate the movie having the same ending as the actual book. But the STORY itself doesn’t end with the last chapter; it ends with Appendix B.
Imagine a 2-minute montage, fading in after Sam comes home from the Grey Havens:
An unfamiliar female voice narrates over these images:
Sam & Rosie raising their children at Bag End; Sam reading the Red Book aloud to the children.
Sam making a speech as Mayor.
Sam sitting in Bag End’s study, reading a letter signed ‘Frodo,’ which Frodo clearly left for him.
Pippin & Diamond’s wedding.
Merry & Estella’s wedding.
Aragorn & Arwen with their children in Minas Tirith.
Aragorn dedicating and unveiling a tall statue of Frodo & Sam in Minas Tirith.
Legolas restoring the destroyed forests.
Gimli bringing the dwarves to Helm’s Deep.
Faramir & Éowyn with their children in Ithilien.
Teenage Elanor reading the Red Book by herself and reading a letter or poem that Frodo wrote for her before he sailed away (because, come on, he was a 2nd dad to her. he literally named her. he adored her, so of course he left something for her since she was too young to actually remember him).
Aragorn & Arwen visiting Sam, Merry, Pippin and their wives & children at the Brandywine Bridge.
The Gardner, Took & Brandybuck families all celebrating Yule together.
Time passing … the Travellers aging … the children growing up.
Teenage Elanor introducing Fastred to her parents.
Faramir Took and Goldilocks Gardner dancing at a party, transitioning to a dance at their wedding.
Sam and his son Frodo teaching Frodo’s own young son how to work in the garden.
The seasons in the Shire changing as more years go by…
Elderly Sam and his now-adult children gathered around elderly Rosie’s deathbed.
Elderly Sam sitting alone in Bag End’s beautiful, flourishing garden with a faraway look on his face, pulling Frodo’s now-wrinkled letter out of his pocket and reading it again.
Elderly Sam, Merry & Pippin sharing one last drink at the Green Dragon, followed by a tearful group embrace.
(I know the following messes up the book’s timeline, but for dramatic effect, I think this order of events would work better as a close for the film):
Elderly Merry & elderly Pippin hugging their adult sons goodbye and riding out of the Shire together.
Merry & Pippin shaking hands with elderly Éomer in Rohan.
Merry & Pippin’s gravestones in Gondor, with a statue of them standing above their tomb.
Aragorn’s tomb now beside theirs, years later.
Arwen hugging Eldarion goodbye in his throne room, with Eldarion now wearing the king’s crown.
Arwen entering LothlĂłrien alone.
Legolas hopping into a small sailboat and helping an aged Gimli onboard before they drift off into the sunset.
Sam placing the Red Book in adult Elanor’s hands and embracing her tightly.
A ship pulling away from the Grey Havens.
Elanor standing on the quayside and tearfully waving as the ship disappears into the horizon. She composes herself and her narration says “And that day, my dear Sam-dad passed over the Sea … the last of the Ring-bearers.”
Her words lead into the very last shot, fading from her face into a flash of white, and then fade-in to a distant view of an island, with greenery on one side and a sparkling beach on the other. Two hobbits, their backs to us, are strolling along the coastline, hand-in-hand.
THE END.

I can't remember if I posted about it already, or if I just can't find it (because searching for something on here is impossible), but I'm thinking about my Avatar story idea from when I was a teenager (literally right after the original series ended, and way before we had Korra or the comics as a continuation), so here it is again-
-Zuko realizes his dad will never tell him where Ursa is, and just keeps using it as a bargaining chip, so decides to ignore Ozai and focus on helping put the Earth Kingdom/Water Tribes back together, and get the Fire Nation out of "war-mode"
-He also tries to figure out how to help his sister; Azula isn't being violent now that she's fully accepted defeat, but she is SUPREMELY depressed (and seems to expect him to "execute" her, which he very much has no interest in doing). Iroh and some others from the White Lotus find a group of Healers, some Waterbenders, who also understand emotional/mental pain, who agree to help her (she does improve eventually, but it is painful for her to even go home to the Fire Nation... finally realizing how badly her father messed her up was a big deal). Eventually, Ty Lee and Mai visit her, sort of trying to have a "new" friendship
-A couple years go by. Things have mostly settled down, but every once in a while there is a problem (a group in the Fire Nation who think Zuko shouldn't be Fire Lord call themselves "Azula's Army". they aren't very powerful, but are definitely annoying, and sow discontent with other people). After an adventure helping a young Fire Sage who is training, Aang and Zuko find some old scrolls about strange "distant islands"
-Sokka recognizes some of the scrolls are from Wan Shi Tong's library (stolen however long ago). The satchel they were in belonged to Zhao; these were other things he found when looking into information about the Moon and Ocean Spirits. One scroll with a map has the island closest to the Fire Nation circled, with notes in the corner about this being a "Secret the Fire Lords keep". Zuko researches a little more, and finally has the answer...
-This island was where a once "disgraced" Fire Lord was sent, and since then, other Fire Lords have used it as a place for banishment. While it is more common to just banish people from the Fire Nation itself, when a Fire Lord wants to entirely erase somebody without actually "killing" them, they are sent to that island. More secrets imply that a few soldiers who were part of Sozin's army secretly saved infants from the Air Temples during attacks. They weren't strong enough to outright oppose the Fire Lord, and there wasn't enough of them to fight the other soldiers, but they wanted to at least save the children. The babies were smuggled away to the island. This is also where Ozai sent Ursa
-The group decides to make a big trip to the island; after all, they have the possibility of not only finding Zuko's mother, but Aang might NOT be the last Airbender! Aang, Zuko, Katara, Sokka, Toph, Mai, Ty Lee, Suki, and Hakoda are all going out on a ship with a few crew members (it would be too far for Appa to fly over the sea, but he and Momo are still along for the ride). Zuko is leaving behind Iroh as temporary Fire Lord, and Suki asked some of her Kyoshi Warriors to help
-At one point as they travel, they find a small, much newer island, formed by a volcano that has started to grow plant life. They all stay for the night to camp and gather some fresh fruit/do some fishing. Katara has figured out a way to "pull apart" salt water so it can be drinkable. Toph just REALLY needs a good dose of LAND before sailing again. In a small tide pool, Zuko teaches Toph how to swim (suddenly remembering how his older cousin Lu Ten taught him way back on Ember Island, before Azula was even born. she finally gets her own Zuka field-trip!)
-They finally arrive at the island; there are a LOT of people here. Some who's ancestors were banished by a Fire Lord generations ago, some who were sailors that got stranded out here after bad storms. A few people who had been Fire Nation soldiers back then decided to stay, not wanting to be part of the war anymore. They all have their own communities... and so many of them are Airbenders! Aang is very excited, and shows off some of his own abilities. The people are amazed, especially because they have never been taught any actual "techniques". Their history and heritage has been lost to them. As everybody walks around, Zuko eagerly looks for a familiar face... when he hears somebody suddenly call his name. He and his mother finally meet again, crying and embracing each other (she sees his scar, and when she touches it and sees his eyes glance down sadly, she knows Ozai did it)
-Lots of catching up, both happy and sad. Some of the people banished here were Waterbenders that had been captured by the Fire Army, in the attempt to have them control whirlpools/tidal waves (searching for some long-lost treasure). The Waterbenders would pretend to be swept away, and escape, eventually finding this island. Now that the restrictions that "banished" them are gone, everybody on the island is welcome to return to the outside world. The ship isn't big enough for everybody, but Ursa and several of the Airbenders make the return trip (more boats will be sent later, both so people on the island can see the other Nations, and so the island can be visited; they won't be alone out here anymore)
-Ursa and Hakoda talk a lot together while sailing back (wishing they could have protected their children better), and Aang shares stories of the Air Nomads with the Airbenders, also teaching some of them how to make an Air Scooter. When they arrive, Iroh is happy to see Ursa again. Zuko takes her to go visit Azula, who at first doesn't believe her mother could return, or EVER love her... but Ursa reassures her daughter; she is real, and so is her love
-Zuko makes one final visit to Ozai; his father has gotten a little "impatient", expecting that Zuko wouldn't be able to resist coming back to ask about his mother for so long... Iroh also walks in, and Ozai tries to mock his brother. Azula walks in as well, finally confronting her father. This throws him, because she looks different (short hair, no make-up), and also because she doesn't care about his approval anymore. He tries to bargain with her, but she refuses his offers. Then, Ursa walks in. Her son and his friends found her, WITHOUT him. Now, she is back with both of her children. Ozai is struck silent. Finally, Aang walks in, telling Ozai that his ancestor failed, the other Airbenders were NOT wiped-out. They will all walk out of here, and have happy lives. He will stay. Nobody wants anything from him anymore. Too late, after they leave, Ozai starts shouting, trying to beg or threaten, but nobody listens (nobody cares)
-In the years that follow, the other islands are eventually located and explored, with more people found there (new people who are Fire/Water/Earth/Air Benders, but with different cultures than the Four Nations. Sokka is sort of the official diplomat for making new friends, and eventually, all the new places are able to travel and communicate with each other). Hakoda and Ursa grow closer, but take a while to act on any romantic feelings (they're worried their children might find it awkward, and Hakoda especially didn't want Katara and Sokka to think he doesn't care about their mother's memory... but the kids are all very happy about it! this makes them all family). Aang helps the Airbenders who want to move back to the Air Temples adjust and recover. People from other nations who have made homes near the Temples are welcome to stay as well, and also help repair the buildings. Hakoda and Ursa live part of the year on Ember Island, and part in the Southern Water Tribe village that was his home (which has also been rebuilt). Azula eventually feels content enough to move on, and she lives on Kyoshi Island with Ty Lee (Azula avoids bending, finally realizing she has PTSD, but she can still help train people with hand-to-hand fighting techniques). Toph makes a home for herself outside of the swamp, where she also begins teaching Metalbending (haha, yes, ironic~). Now that Zuko is very at home being Fire Lord, Iroh stays in Ba Sing Se full time for his tea shop, but returns for special occasions (like when Zuka and Mai get married). Katara surprises Aang with a gift one day; a necklace~

THE TRAGEDY OF THE FUJIHARA
BRANCH FAMILY
Tumblr media
The Single Shot Snake
ㅤFujihara Ayame is the great granddaughter of Yukiko; her father, Asahi, son of Fuyu, took up the passion that her great grandmother had for the sea. Unlike her older brothers, she held a wild passion for the sea. While Daisuke took control of the Sapphire Serpent and Kotetsu took the throne of Janoshima, Ayame was relatively left to her own devices. Thus, she began to teach herself how to survive- how to shoot a flintlock, how to create her own bullets, and how to create gunpowder. By the age of sixteen, Ayame had become a gifted sharpshooter, and left Janoshima to explore.
ㅤShe ran into Gol D. Roger at Loguetown, where- after mentioning that she was looking for a crew to join and offer her skills to- he offered her the position to be his Gunner, despite Rayleigh’s initial disapproval. She gained the moniker of the Single Shot Snake due to her odd ability to only need one shot to take out her enemy almost every time.
ㅤHere, she met her future husband, Yusuke, who was acting as a carpenter for the crew. It took a little over two years for the two to fall for one another, but once they fell- they both fell hard. Within the year, Ayame not only marries Yusuke ( officiated by Roger himself ), but became pregnant with her first child. She refused to back down, however; she remained active on the ship and within fights.
The First Born
ㅤTheir first child was a girl, Mai, born seven months after Kiyomi and Kiyoko. She was born shortly after midnight; the labor was easy, surprisingly so for a first child. The next morning, Mai is brought out on deck by Yusuke and Ayame. Shanks loudly declares himself her older brother. Rayleigh asks if this makes him a grandfather, to which Ayame replies that yes- he and Roger are both grandparents now, purely joking- though Roger seems positively delighted with the concept. Buggy asks why Mai looks all squished.
The Son
ㅤAyame and Yusuke have their second son, much to the enjoyment of the crew. Jun’Ichi was born, weighing 8 lbs, and came into the world yelling. He was born while they were in the Grand Line, shortly after Roger discovered his illness. Mai is four years old when he is born.
ㅤTwo years after his birth, the Roger Pirates and the Whitebeard Pirates enter into a battle that lasts three days before it ends with a peace treaty between the two crews. During the battle, Mai and Jun;Ichi were held below deck, where they would have been safe.
The Twins
ㅤAyame and Yusuke then have a pair of twins a year after the battle ended, a girl named Itsuki and a boy named Izumi, the final children born while they were actively part of the Roger Pirates. Together, the Roger Pirates continue their travels, until Roger makes the difficult decision to request that they port in Janoshima. For the first time in fourteen years, the Fujihara siblings are together. At this time, Mai is eight years old, Jun’Ichi is four, and the twins are two.
ㅤShortly before they ported, Daisuke and Daiyu had also made port. They celebrated with the Roger pirates for two days before the Roger pirates left- leaving Ayame, Yusuke, and their two children behind. It was a bitter parting; Ayame cried openly while Roger held her close, promising to see her again. Rayleigh teased her about being too soft, now.
“Is that any way for the Single Shot Snake to be acting? We’ll see each other once more. You aren’t done sailing. You’re just taking a break. You’ll both be back on these waters, soon- maybe even with your own ship and crew. Wouldn’t that be something? I think I could be proud if I got to see that, one day.” -Silvers Rayleigh’s parting words to Ayame and Yusuke.
“You listen to me, Yus. Take care of her, alright? She’s the mother of your kids, now, and she’ll kill you if you ever try to act up. I’ve known her longer than you. She’s like my kid. And you- stay out of trouble. I’ll see you soon, out on the Blue again.” -Gol D. Roger’s parting words to Ayame and Yusuke.
ㅤFor the next eleven months, the family is whole once more- giving Daiyū time to rest, to gather herself. Ayame acted as the mother figure for the children during this time- with Yusuke acting as a father figure. She didn’t mind; she could see that the stress of motherhood was affecting Daiyu in a clearly negative manner. There were several conversations during this time period, including whether or not the children should simply remain in Janoshima for their own safety. Daisuke would hear nothing of it.
ㅤAnd then, one evening, a conversation occurs between Ayame and Daiyu. Their husbands had both been on the porch while the women remained inside; Ayame watched as Mizuki attempted to play with Itsuki and Izumi. The conversation went as follows:
ㅤ“I’m almost jealous of you, you know.” Ayame murmured in a purely playful tone, sipping her tea as Daiyu froze.
ㅤ“Of course you would be,” Daiyu sniffed, turning her nose up. “Look at you- wasting away on this island. Tell me,” the woman turned, watching as Itsuki and Izumi colored. “Are they truly his children?”
ㅤ“I beg your pardon?”
ㅤ“Oh, come off it. I saw the way you looked at Roger,” she sneered, setting her cup down. “And Rayleigh, at that. How many times did you whore yourself out to them?”
ㅤIt happened quickly; one moment, Ayame was sitting in stunned silence at the way her sister in law had spoken, and the next, her gun was drawn, the muzzle of her flintlock pressed between her brows. “Get off of my island.”
“Daisuke!”
“YUSUKE!”
ㅤDaisuke and Yusuke both entered to find the women. Daisuke, Daiyu, and his children left the very next morning before dawn.
ㅤAfter a month, Kotetsu passed away due to complications from his illness. Ayame ascended to the throne and promptly became the Empress of Janoshima. She did not hear from her other brother, nor did he send any reparations for their brother’s passing.
ㅤShe didn't know that, in four and a half years, she would be witnessing the execution of her Captain.
Child, not of Mine Own
ㅤFujihara Mizuki was kidnapped by three men who mutinied against Daisuke. When word had come to them across the Denden, Ayame hadn’t believed it at first. Five years with no word from her brother, only to be alerted that his daughter had been kidnapped.
ㅤThey returned to Janoshima once more a month after Suma was born, after being invited back by Ayame and Yusuke. It was a tense initial meeting; Daisuke attempted to insinuate that he should be the one on the throne before Ayame reminded him that the throne was in Janoshima, not upon his ship.
ㅤShe was a frail baby, underweight and shrieking at all hours. Daiyū, at her wits end, attempted to kill her own daughter before Yusuke and Ayame intervened, stopping her. Ayame took Suma in as her own, afterwards. Daisuke argued at first before Ayame threatened to simply keep all of his children if he could not care for them and his crazed wife.
ㅤHe relented.
The Birth of the Golden Age
ㅤTwo months later, the family traveled to Loguetown to witness the execution of Gol D. Roger and the birth of the Golden Age of Piracy. As the reigning Empress, Ayame had been invited to witness this death. She watched from afar without her children; she refused to bring them out of fear for their safety- and that her two eldest didn’t need to see the man they’d come to fondly speak of be killed. She watched with her brother’s family, and left immediately after to avoid being caught in the chaos his words caused.
ㅤUpon returning, Ayame settled easily into her role as Empress; Kotetsu had taught her everything she would need to know to take over. Yusuke would take over teaching Mai and Jun’Ichi skills they would need to survive.
ㅤAt age twelve, Mai would begin joining Yusuke on excursions to the islands that curved around the main island of Janoshima. Due to how large the island chain was, it would take two hours to sail from the port at the head of the island to one of the outer islands. During these excursions, Yusuke would teach Mai how to navigate by using the position of the sun, how to handle a small vessel when it was only one person aboard, and how to dock offshore. Jun’Ichi, age eight, begins to join them.
Additional Child
ㅤThe next year, Suma would celebrate her first birthday. There would be no word sent from Daiyu or Daisuke; Suma was treated as a princess, and seen as the daughter of Ayame and Yusuke. The celebration lasted for two days and two nights. She had survived her first year.
ㅤMai, thirteen, has become adept at being a marskwoman. She speaks about wanting to go out on her own, one day. She has her tongue surgically split. The process is much more pleasant than what Kiyomi and Kiyoko go through, and is celebrated. The healing process, while difficult, was well worth it in her opinion.
ㅤJun’Ichi celebrates his eighth birthday by concussing himself via falling face first into the steps leading down from the main house. The alarm is loud, and while he enjoys the forehead scar he gets from this, Ayame is certain she had a heart attack. Suma takes her first running steps at the same time, running out onto the porch and trying to run down the stairs before Mai caught her. Suma begins calling Mai “Mi-mi”.
ㅤShe refers to Ayame and Yusuke as Mama and Baba. She does not know Daisuke or Daiyu, something that Ayame will always be grateful for. Suma is simply another one of her children.
ㅤThe next year, Janoshima is rocked by a powerful hurricane typhoon that rips through the island chain, stripping the outlying islands of their trees. The reconstruction will take over a year to fix the cities and smaller villages. Ayame would leave the throne to help the citizens to the best of her ability, helping to repair the docks and houses. She is heralded as the saving grace of Janoshima due to her aid.
ㅤLuckily, they lost no lives. Unluckily, the typhoon struck on the twins’ seventh birthdays.
The Final Child
ㅤAyame and Yusuke announce their pregnancy with their last child, who would come to be named Kai.
ㅤIn March of that year, Mai has her first accidental run-in with the Whitebeard Pirates. She meets the man himself, who had come to Janoshima to speak with Ayame. He offered to protect the island. The conversation goes as follows:
ㅤ“You know how large my fleet is, now, and how it continues to grow.”
ㅤ“I’m aware. But you are aware you’re speaking to an Empress, no?”
ㅤ“I am.”
ㅤ“Then get off my island. I can protect it well enough by myself- something you are well aware of. How’s that old scar treating you?”
ㅤ“Feels just like a snake’s biting my arm right now!”
ㅤMai confides in her father that she wants to join Whitebeard, who overhears. He tells her that he doesn’t normally allow women on his crew- but for her? If she can prove to him in three years that she’s anything like her mother was, she’ll get a spot. But not before then. Mai, delighted, yells from the edge of the dock as he departs that she’ll train to join him, she promises!
ㅤIn November, Kai is born. Healthy, and happy. The island celebrates for five days straight with festivals, fireworks, and feasts. Ayame is happy, content. She and Yusuke have a big, happy family. What more could they ask for?
Tearful Departing
ㅤDaisuke and Daiyu would return when Suma was seven. This would be the first time she met her parents, whom she did not like, as well as her older siblings. She took to Junpei and Mizuki quickly, but confided in Mai that Kiyomi and Kiyoko scared her. They were mean, and they stared.
ㅤThis resulted in Mai punching Kiyomi when she asked why Kai was so ugly. Kiyomi, in retaliation, drew her blade, but had a warning shot fired by Mai that nearly clipped her foot. Mai reminded Kiyomi that this is not her island, this is not her home, and she would be respectful to the prince- and to Suma.
ㅤSuma had spent her life with her family, the ones she was truly close to, but Daisuke and Daiyu refused to allow her to remain. She is brought onto the Sapphire Serpent by her parents. She learns she is leaving with them, which causes her to completely melt down, crying and asking why she can’t stay with Ayame and Yusuke. Daisuke replies that she cannot stay because she is not their child. Suma attempts to jump off the ship; Milorad catches her, though Daisuke and Daiyu made no move to help. It is a tearful goodbye on all parts, with Mai and Jun’Ichi promising to see her again soon. Ayame spends five minutes holding Suma, telling her how much she loves her, and that she will always be her daughter.
ㅤThe next year, Mai, aged eighteen, leaves the island with the blessing of her mother and father to pursue her own life with a tearful goodbye. She promises to be safe, before taking a personal ship and sailing to the island where Whitebeard had last been seen. There, she undergoes a challenge; three days later, Fujihara Mai is accepted into the First Division of the Whitebeard Pirates as their sharpshooter. Her bounty rises from four thousand to five hundred thousand due to her new alliance. She is given the name “Serpent Shooter”.
ㅤJun’Ichi leaves the year following Mai. He vanishes after six months. No one knows where he lands.
Akainu
ㅤIt happens on a quiet Monday morning. Ayame had Kai, age seven, sitting on her lap while he tried to braid grass. Itsuki and Izumi were further down in the courtyard when the sounds of distant canonfire caught her attention. She handed Kai off to Itsuki before running to the docks, where she spots her husband’s ship being destroyed by a Marine vessel. Ayame watches, helplessly, as Yusuke abandons ship and begins to swim to shore. He makes it to the beach as she continues to scream for him, only for Akainu to follow him-
ㅤAnd plunge his fist through the center of Yusuke’s abdomen.
ㅤThe silence that settles is loud; Akainu claims that Yusuke had attacked first ( he had not ), and that he had no choice. Ayame pushed her children behind herself as Akainu approached, only for Kai to run down the dock screaming “PLEASE DON’T KILL MY MOMMY! PLEASE DON’T KILL MY MOMMY!” It’s unknown why Akainu stopped- if it was due to seeing a seven year old sobbing and begging for the life of his mother, to see how Ayame was willing to sacrifice herself for her family, or some other reason-
ㅤBut Ayame was spared, with a warning: To never set sail upon the seas again.
ㅤThe next day, she, along with her children, begin to repair her vessel: the Vermilion Viper.
Death of a Snake
ㅤOn October 16th, the following year, Ayame receives word via denden from one of her brother’s men that Mizuki had slaughtered Daisuke and Daiyu in their sleep. She does not cry.
ㅤAt the end of the year, Ayame makes the decision to leave Janoshima, taking Itsuki and Izumi, as well as a crew twenty strong. Kiyomi docks the Sapphire Serpent in Janoshima, where Ayame and Kiyoko meet.
ㅤThere, Kiyoko reveals her fears of Mizuki. She can no longer trust her, or Kiyomi; they were the two that plotted the death of Daisuke. ( A lie, though Ayame didn’t know this at the time ). Ayame agrees to allowed Kiyoko to take the throne in her absence.
ㅤAyame sees Suma for the first time in years; it’s a tearful reunion, where Suma reveals to Ayame what had been done. Ayame informs Suma of Yusuke’s death; they visit his grave together, where Suma promises to one day leave Kiyomi’s crew- when she’s able to, when it’s safe. Ayame agrees.
ㅤThe Vermilion Viper and Sapphire Serpent departed from the Royal Port of Janoshima on January 1st, though they split ways three hours into the voyage: Ayame ventured North, Kiyomi ventured South. In the three years leading up to the events of canon, Ayame traveled with her children through the Grand Line and into the North Sea, where they made contact not once, but twice with the Heart Pirates- the first time, coming to the unintentional aid of the submarine, and the second- with that being paid in kind.
ㅤAt some point, Ayame was offered the position of a Warlord. She declined.
ㅤAs of the beginning of canon, Itsuki and Izumi have departed the Vermilion Viper and began to sail with Kiyomi to watch her. Kai begins to work on an unknown mission. Ayame begins to make decisions that will later affect everyone.

Oc Questionniare/Interview
I was tagged to do this by @borisyvain and @drchenquill! Thanks for including me! I'll have Tristan answer these...as with the other questionnaire I did, the responses may not be truthful, but they are the answers he'd give.
Are you named after anyone?
I am named after Sir Tristan, a knight of King Arthur's court. He died for love, slain by the lance of an enchantress whilst he was playing the harp. Quite romantic, really.
When was the last time you cried?
What sort of a question is that? If you must know, I haven't the slightest idea. I do not weep anymore, like some child. [Author's note: methinks thou dost protest too much...]
Do you have kids?
I..do not have..goats. Oh, you mean children? ...me? Do I have children? Me?
Do you use sarcasm a lot?
[sarcastically:] Oh no, that is a base vulgarity I could never indulge in, and by the by, to answer your last question properly, I have been very busy indeed producing children. I started seducing women with alarming speed aged five. In the seven years since I have produced quite the brood.
What’s the first thing you notice about people?
I suppose I notice a person's bearing, and their dress. One can determine much from merely observing these things. Most people are quite easy to take measure of, being largely dull and stupid.
What’s your eye colour?
Blue.
Scary movies or happy endings?
"Movies"? ..well, at any rate, happy endings are intolerably dull, do not you think? I much prefer it when something dreadful happens. Like an arrow through the heart, or poison taken by lovers, or dying of a broken heart, or dying of fright after seeing a phantom, or being thrown in a dungeon to rot for the rest of one's days, or being buried alive, or murdered by a band of highwaymen, or beheaded, or hanged after being falsely accused of a shameful crime, or being doomed by the fulfillment of a horrible omen, or falling through a trap door onto some rusted spikes, or jumping off a cliff onto sharp rocks below...
Any special talents?
Well, I am uncommonly accomplished in the art of sorcery: though I am a novice in the practice and have had no master to teach me black magic, I have managed to do what many adepts have failed at. Thus I cannot help but think myself a natural conjurer. I am also quite good at dancing.
Where were you born?
In my parents' house.
Do you have any pets?
No. I was not permi--no. Anyway, I am far too busy to look after some vexatious creature.
What sort of sports do you play?
Why should I concern myself with a trifling thing like sport? There are far more diverting amusements.
How tall are you?
Five foot.
What was your favorite subject in school?
I never went to a school. You see, my Mind and Intellect required a more refined course of education, supplied by masters who administered lessons to me at my parents' house. But I suppose my favorite subject was French. It is such a romantic language. And the study of the classics, I dare say, although I did much of my reading on my own, and was much improved by it. By industrious reading I instructed myself in magic, which led me to my present course in life!
What is your dream job?
You are funny. An occupation one takes up in one's dreams? ...I suppose I once had a dream in which I was the captain of a great sailing vessel on a desolate, stormy sea. The ship collided with dark cliffs and sank, but at the bottom of the sea was a society of underwater people who placed me in a glass castle, where I was imprisoned, but could look out. I was glad to be alive but rather bored. One day I asked somebody how long I had been prisoner there. They told me two hundred and fourteen years. I decided that was long enough and escaped to the surface, but once I did so all of time hit me at once and I turned into a pile of sand which was immediately washed away with the sea foam.
Hmmm I'll tag @ceph-the-ghost-writer, @hagscribes, and @words-after-midnight!

i wanna hear all about the pirate verse! how did aisling become a pirate in the first place? is she a good pirate or a bad pirate? what is her crew like? what is her ship like?
YOUR WISH IS MY COMMAND!
so basically, it starts with aisling as the youngest daughter of a very wealthy widow who lacks in love for her children in absolutely every way. aisling is the last of her children living in the house, as the others have all left, and moira decides to marry her off in exchange for a sizable fortune in the caribbean. however, on the eve of aisling's impending nuptials, she ends up being kidnapped by a crew of pirates in an effort to escape the navy safely. that's how she meets eoin, the first mate of stanley and richard jones, who continue to feel terrible about taking her hostage until she admits that she was actually thrilled about it and would be happy to stay as a member of the crew.
stanley and richard, being the modern men that they are, embrace her with open arms. she falls in love with eoin, they help people on their travels, and the entire crew co-exist in a happy family unit.
but then her former fiancĂŠ, a navy man himself, catches up to the vessel with his own fleet. in the ensuing battle, eoin dies, stanley loses a leg, and aisling ends up killing her former fiancĂŠ. in the days of recovery that follow, richard decides to pass the role of captain over to aisling, and when stanley recovers, he insists that it remain that way, resulting in captain aisling being born.
as far as her morality is concerned, i think this verse is definitely more of the "chaotic neutral" spectrum. she does kill, but she doesn't allow the killing of innocent civilians. they only ever kill in self-defence, defence, or in order to stop their victim from continuing to harm others. the crew is naturally the entire diner squad; danny becomes her first mate, ramsay and henri are the cooks, nate is the navigator (he sucks at it but nobody wants to remove the role from him so they just keep getting lost together). and when she begins to adopt young orphans, it's immediately assured that they won't be actual pirates. if they choose to become pirates at the age of eighteen, that's fine, but if they want to go back to land, they are always given plenty of money and a new identity to allow them that choice.
in terms of her captain skills!! she's very much about strategy. avoiding a fight is as essential as winning them. she makes sure that danny wears a captain hat on the ship, which he does quite happily, and she insists that their rations are more nourishing than the standard salted preserved foods. first-aid is taught to everyone, and ramsay teaches bits of spanish where he can. the kids are taught self-defence, but only evasive manoeuvres that can buy them time until one of the squad members can save them. she hates killing. but she won't hesitate if it means saving her crew.
she also doesn't buy into the whole "women are bad luck" schtick, like she doesn't hide that she's a woman from others. she wears dresses sometimes, but it's a lot easier to move on a ship while wearing pants, so she tends to wear the latter more often.
in the end, her main goal as a pirate is to explore the world, and help people who feel trapped by what society demands of them. however, she's also heard whispers of certain treasures, scattered across the seas, that could well be the stuff of legends. normally, one might shrug such things off as fairy tales and nothing more. but let's face it. you can't travel the seas, sail the unsailable, see the unseen, without having the nerve to pay heed to the impossible.

Return to the Blue Lagoon (1991)
Tumblr media
While I didn't enjoy this film, that doesn't mean you won't. No matter what I say, the people involved in this project did it: they actually made a movie. That's something to be applauded. With that established...
Return to the Blue Lagoon is so brazen about its laziness I almost want to give it credit for its audacity. Minus a few tweaks at the beginning and end, this is the EXACT SAME MOVIE as 1980’s The Blue Lagoon. You’ll be bored, you’ll be frustrated… you might also be grossed out.
In 1897, castaways Richard & Emmeline and their baby, Richard, are discovered by a ship sailing nearby. The parents are dead so the boy is taken in by Mrs. Sarah Hargrave (Lisa Pelikan), a widow with a child of her own, Lilli. An outbreak of cholera forces them to abandon their ship. When they do, they land on the same paradisal island Richard’s parents inhabited. Years pass. The now pre-teens witness their mother die of pneumonia. As the two nubile islanders grow, Lili (Milla Jovovich) and Richard (Brian Krause) begin to look at each other in a wholly different way than when they were children.
This movie is about one thing only: two innocent members of the opposite sex living in isolation where society has not corrupted them by teaching them what to expect once they reach sexual maturity. There are many shots where they frolic in the island's clear blue waters and verdant green forest as the rest of us either eagerly wait for them to discover how attractive they are to each other. Well, if you're a creep. I hope you’re watching with a look of discomfort on your face, as Milla Jovovich was 16 when they shot this film and she appears topless a couple of times. Gross. If you're somehow able to separate yourself from that fact, you might be able to give your full attention to the plot… which is a bore.
The film is doubly lazy; first by replicating the story of the two young people inside a Garden of Eden (the very same Garden we saw in "Blue Lagoon"; talk about contrived) and secondly by focusing entirely on the drama of the situation at the expense of the potential Robinson Crusoe story. When the family land on the island, they move into Richard’s parents’ house. They didn’t even have to build a shelter! I’d like to imagine my own sequel to this movie in which Richard and Lilli have a child, attempt to leave the island and die, with their son coming back again, in a cycle that has the technology on the island advance with each generation. Think coconut radio and crab-powered pianos.
There is a conflict beyond the “stop looking at my chest, Richard!” drama but the second it begins you’ll immediately know how every detail will pan out. Even when Return to the Blue Lagoon film tries to mix things up, it contains no surprises. Despite its promises of lascivious and lusty imagery, it's unfit even as a substitute for softcore porn, meaning it’s got zero appeal. (August 23, 2019)

THE BIBLE BOOK OF GOD
New Testament
Acts 21
Paul Goes to Jerusalem
21 And when we had parted from them and set sail, we came by a straight course to Cos, and the next day to Rhodes, and from there to Patara. 2 And having found a ship crossing to Phoenicia, we went aboard and set sail. 3 When we had come in sight of Cyprus, leaving it on the left we sailed to Syria and landed at Tyre, for there the ship was to unload its cargo. 4 And having sought out the disciples, we stayed there for seven days. And through the Spirit they were telling Paul not to go on to Jerusalem. 5 When our days there were ended, we departed and went on our journey, and they all, with wives and children, accompanied us until we were outside the city. And kneeling down on the beach, we prayed 6 and said farewell to one another. Then we went on board the ship, and they returned home.
7 When we had finished the voyage from Tyre, we arrived at Ptolemais, and we greeted the brothers and stayed with them for one day. 8 On the next day we departed and came to Caesarea, and we entered the house of Philip the evangelist, who was one of the seven, and stayed with him. 9 He had four unmarried daughters, who prophesied. 10 While we were staying for many days, a prophet named Agabus came down from Judea. 11 And coming to us, he took Paul's belt and bound his own feet and hands and said, “Thus says the Holy Spirit, ‘This is how the Jews at Jerusalem will bind the man who owns this belt and deliver him into the hands of the Gentiles.’” 12 When we heard this, we and the people there urged him not to go up to Jerusalem. 13 Then Paul answered, “What are you doing, weeping and breaking my heart? For I am ready not only to be imprisoned but even to die in Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.” 14 And since he would not be persuaded, we ceased and said, “Let the will of the Lord be done.”
15 After these days we got ready and went up to Jerusalem. 16 And some of the disciples from Caesarea went with us, bringing us to the house of Mnason of Cyprus, an early disciple, with whom we should lodge.
Paul Visits James
17 When we had come to Jerusalem, the brothers received us gladly. 18 On the following day Paul went in with us to James, and all the elders were present. 19 After greeting them, he related one by one the things that God had done among the Gentiles through his ministry. 20 And when they heard it, they glorified God. And they said to him, “You see, brother, how many thousands there are among the Jews of those who have believed. They are all zealous for the law, 21 and they have been told about you that you teach all the Jews who are among the Gentiles to forsake Moses, telling them not to circumcise their children or walk according to our customs. 22 What then is to be done? They will certainly hear that you have come. 23 Do therefore what we tell you. We have four men who are under a vow; 24 take these men and purify yourself along with them and pay their expenses, so that they may shave their heads. Thus all will know that there is nothing in what they have been told about you, but that you yourself also live in observance of the law. 25 But as for the Gentiles who have believed, we have sent a letter with our judgment that they should abstain from what has been sacrificed to idols, and from blood, and from what has been strangled,[d] and from sexual immorality.” 26 Then Paul took the men, and the next day he purified himself along with them and went into the temple, giving notice when the days of purification would be fulfilled and the offering presented for each one of them.
Paul Arrested in the Temple
27 When the seven days were almost completed, the Jews from Asia, seeing him in the temple, stirred up the whole crowd and laid hands on him, 28 crying out, “Men of Israel, help! This is the man who is teaching everyone everywhere against the people and the law and this place. Moreover, he even brought Greeks into the temple and has defiled this holy place.” 29 For they had previously seen Trophimus the Ephesian with him in the city, and they supposed that Paul had brought him into the temple. 30 Then all the city was stirred up, and the people ran together. They seized Paul and dragged him out of the temple, and at once the gates were shut. 31 And as they were seeking to kill him, word came to the tribune of the cohort that all Jerusalem was in confusion. 32 He at once took soldiers and centurions and ran down to them. And when they saw the tribune and the soldiers, they stopped beating Paul. 33 Then the tribune came up and arrested him and ordered him to be bound with two chains. He inquired who he was and what he had done. 34 Some in the crowd were shouting one thing, some another. And as he could not learn the facts because of the uproar, he ordered him to be brought into the barracks. 35 And when he came to the steps, he was actually carried by the soldiers because of the violence of the crowd, 36 for the mob of the people followed, crying out, “Away with him!”
Paul Speaks to the People
37 As Paul was about to be brought into the barracks, he said to the tribune, “May I say something to you?” And he said, “Do you know Greek? 38 Are you not the Egyptian, then, who recently stirred up a revolt and led the four thousand men of the Assassins out into the wilderness?” 39 Paul replied, “I am a Jew, from Tarsus in Cilicia, a citizen of no obscure city. I beg you, permit me to speak to the people.” 40 And when he had given him permission, Paul, standing on the steps, motioned with his hand to the people. And when there was a great hush, he addressed them in the Hebrew language, saying:

Acts 21:1–40 NLT - 1 After saying farewell to the Ephesian elders, we sailed straight to the island of Cos. The next day we reached Rhodes and then went to Patara. 2 There we boarded a ship sailing for Phoenicia. 3 We sighted the island of Cyprus, passed it on our left, and landed at the harbor of Tyre, in Syria, where the ship was to unload its cargo. 4 We went ashore, found the local believers, and stayed with them a week. These believers prophesied through the Holy Spirit that Paul should not go on to Jerusalem. 5 When we returned to the ship at the end of the week, the entire congregation, including women and children, left the city and came down to the shore with us. There we knelt, prayed, 6 and said our farewells. Then we went aboard, and they returned home. 7 The next stop after leaving Tyre was Ptolemais, where we greeted the brothers and sisters and stayed for one day. 8 The next day we went on to Caesarea and stayed at the home of Philip the Evangelist, one of the seven men who had been chosen to distribute food. 9 He had four unmarried daughters who had the gift of prophecy. 10 Several days later a man named Agabus, who also had the gift of prophecy, arrived from Judea. 11 He came over, took Paul's belt, and bound his own feet and hands with it. Then he said, "The Holy Spirit declares, 'So shall the owner of this belt be bound by the Jewish leaders in Jerusalem and turned over to the Gentiles.'" 12 When we heard this, we and the local believers all begged Paul not to go on to Jerusalem. 13 But he said, "Why all this weeping? You are breaking my heart! I am ready not only to be jailed at Jerusalem but even to die for the sake of the Lord Jesus." 14 When it was clear that we couldn't persuade him, we gave up and said, "The Lord's will be done." 15 After this we packed our things and left for Jerusalem. 16 Some believers from Caesarea accompanied us, and they took us to the home of Mnason, a man originally from Cyprus and one of the early believers. 17 When we arrived, the brothers and sisters in Jerusalem welcomed us warmly. 18 The next day Paul went with us to meet with James, and all the elders of the Jerusalem church were present. 19 After greeting them, Paul gave a detailed account of the things God had accomplished among the Gentiles through his ministry. 20 After hearing this, they praised God. And then they said, "You know, dear brother, how many thousands of Jews have also believed, and they all follow the law of Moses very seriously. 21 But the Jewish believers here in Jerusalem have been told that you are teaching all the Jews who live among the Gentiles to turn their backs on the laws of Moses. They've heard that you teach them not to circumcise their children or follow other Jewish customs. 22 What should we do? They will certainly hear that you have come. 23 "Here's what we want you to do. We have four men here who have completed their vow. 24 Go with them to the Temple and join them in the purification ceremony, paying for them to have their heads ritually shaved. Then everyone will know that the rumors are all false and that you yourself observe the Jewish laws. 25 "As for the Gentile believers, they should do what we already told them in a letter: They should abstain from eating food offered to idols, from consuming blood or the meat of strangled animals, and from sexual immorality." 26 So Paul went to the Temple the next day with the other men. They had already started the purification ritual, so he publicly announced the date when their vows would end and sacrifices would be offered for each of them. 27 The seven days were almost ended when some Jews from the province of Asia saw Paul in the Temple and roused a mob against him. They grabbed him, 28 yelling, "Men of Israel, help us! This is the man who preaches against our people everywhere and tells everybody to disobey the Jewish laws. He speaks against the Temple--and even defiles this holy place by bringing in Gentiles." 29 (For earlier that day they had seen him in the city with Trophimus, a Gentile from Ephesus, and they assumed Paul had taken him into the Temple.) 30 The whole city was rocked by these accusations, and a great riot followed. Paul was grabbed and dragged out of the Temple, and immediately the gates were closed behind him. 31 As they were trying to kill him, word reached the commander of the Roman regiment that all Jerusalem was in an uproar. 32 He immediately called out his soldiers and officers and ran down among the crowd. When the mob saw the commander and the troops coming, they stopped beating Paul. 33 Then the commander arrested him and ordered him bound with two chains. He asked the crowd who he was and what he had done. 34 Some shouted one thing and some another. Since he couldn't find out the truth in all the uproar and confusion, he ordered that Paul be taken to the fortress. 35 As Paul reached the stairs, the mob grew so violent the soldiers had to lift him to their shoulders to protect him. 36 And the crowd followed behind, shouting, "Kill him, kill him!" 37 As Paul was about to be taken inside, he said to the commander, "May I have a word with you?" "Do you know Greek?" the commander asked, surprised. 38 "Aren't you the Egyptian who led a rebellion some time ago and took 4,000 members of the Assassins out into the desert?" 39 "No," Paul replied, "I am a Jew and a citizen of Tarsus in Cilicia, which is an important city. Please, let me talk to these people." 40 The commander agreed, so Paul stood on the stairs and motioned to the people to be quiet. Soon a deep silence enveloped the crowd, and he addressed them in their own language, Aramaic.

↞ back to my hero academia masterlist
Tumblr media
Eight months, eight full fucking months of carrying Aizawa’s little spawns. Having spent your last term of pregnancy on bed rest, it had been the worst term ever, you would rather have taken the puking up last nights dinner then staying in bed. Even Aizawa had gotten annoyed with how frustrated you had got, you craved how he could get up and leave for work. You hadn’t gone into work since your maternity leave started and you were annoyed, being a pro hero it had been worse.
As soon as you told the agency you were pregnant, you were desk bound, unable to go on patrols. It was fucking annoying and you hated every second of it, and all Aizawa could do was smirk at your frustration. “I’m due any day now, just leave work and stay with me.” You plead grabbing the material from his neck, you wanted him to hold you. You already felt gross staying in bed 24/7 but now you didn’t have your husband beside you 24/7.
“Kitten, this is my last day, I’ll spend the rest of the pregnancy with you.” You were grouchy letting go of him and turning your head to face away for him. “Y/n.”
He tried to gain your attention but ignored him, “you should’ve gotten pregnant as well you’d understand.”
He raised an eyebrow, shaking his head as he crept his arms around your body, his hand resting on the baby bump. You shuffled closer to his body, before turning your head to see him softly rubbing back and forth across the bump.
“Be patient, my love.” It was a whisper which brought you comfort.
“If you’re not home by 4pm then I’m locking you out of the house.” You threaten.
He looks down at you with your fiery eyes, “sure you are.” He kisses the top of your head; you pout wanting a proper kiss. He looks at how perfect you looked with his babies, when you both found out you were having twins, the small apartment you had called home since dating. Had gone and a house in the country close enough to UA and still for you to do pro hero work was where the both of you had situated.
Your relationship have been very secretive, a small wedding ceremony which had been perfect with your family and friends. Of course people had noticed you had gone MIA but one day you’d come out and tell the world how you and Aizawa were an inseparable family.
He moved to capture your lips, grabbing his face you wanted to just drag him back to bed. But he quickly moved out of your grip, “patience Y/n.”
“Shouta.” You whine like a child would.
“Seems like ill be raising three babies now.” He mocked putting the scarf around his yellow goggles.
“I hope you break your goggles.” You huff again, he doesn’t speak only kissing your temple after the small peck he had given to your lips.
He starts to walk out the bedroom, your wedding photo situated on the cabinet. You were perfect back then and now with his kids inside of you, you became somehow even more perfect. He had never thought that the woman he had met all those years ago, who had showed of her quirk to the whole world would be the one he fell in love with.
He looked back at you, you were grumpy due to hormones but once the babies were out you knew you’d go back to being yourself (and both of you could fuck properly, but that was just a bonus.)
“Make sure to walk around the house.” He warns.
It was your turn to raise an eyebrow, “and what if I don’t, will you come home early?” Your extra clinginess melted his insides, he knew how bored your loud self was and being cooped up inside had took a toll on you.
“I’ll come home early.” The sound of your squeal lifted his spirits, it was adorable, and he loved how easily your mood changed. Your face was full, and you had something to look forward too as he left the room.
The day for Aizawa had been smooth sailing, having asked to leave at 2pm and being able to, he had been with the students whilst they were training. He could imagine teaching his kids everything to do with this world, he couldn’t wait for his own leave, to spend time with his future babies but also with his loving wife.
The sound of Bakugo shouting was something else he had gotten used to; how could a 16-year-old boy be louder than the babies he had heard on those stupid pregnancy videos you made him watch. You had shown him a woman giving birth and to say it was the weirdest thing he’s ever seen; he’d happily watch stuff go inside of you but the other way round was another issue.
He stood watching over them, they had gotten a lot stronger in the months and the events that had occurred. It was another reason for the secrecy, having to hide your relationship to prevent disaster from happening. He watched the time tick away; another two more hours and he could leave and spend the rest of the trimester with you.
The sound of running caught his ears, he looked up and saw Principle Nezu walking towards him. “Agh Aizawa, we got a call from your wife’s mother.”
He hadn’t checked his phone, but if your mother had been calling it must’ve been something serious, the class had noticed the principle and had gotten quiet even Bakugo who wanted to know why the principle was here.
“Finally, you answered, she’s going into labour.” He heard on the other liner, he was in shock, his phone dropping to the side.
“Sh…She what?” It was early, of course you both knew about early pregnancies but this he had just spoken you a couple hours ago and now here you were about to go into labour.
“In labour, her water broke whilst I came to see her.” He could hear you screaming on the other side, how you must’ve been in pain, he knew you had been dilated a couple days ago but this, this was sooner than he had expected.
Nezu got the hint that something had happened and so had the class, a flash of worry across Aizawa’s face. “We’ll send the students back to the dorms.” He was calm and Aizawa quickly rushed out of the gym, leaving nothing else to say. He needed to make it to the hospital as quick as he could, in an instant he called your mother.
“Is she okay?” He had ran outside going to his car to quickly rush to the hospital.
He heard screaming which he assumed was you, “she’s grouchy…”
Before he could hear the rest of what your mother said, he heard you shout, “if that’s my idiot of a husband tell him to get to the fucking hospital.” It was a wail and he regretted not taking the day off.
“Y/n.” Her mother scowled, “we’re at the hospital, I’ll text you the room.” Is all her mother said before hanging up. Aizawa was stressed to say the least but what he hadn’t seen through the chaos was class 1A following him.
The class had seen the worry and panic before he jolted out of the room, “you all are dismissed for the day.” Nezu spoke before leaving.
“What do you think happened?” Momo questioned worried.
“He seemed in a hurry; it was probably something important.” Kirishima retorted back.
The class watched him on the phone the question of ‘is she okay?’ being heard. “Who do you think he’s talking about?” Mina asked.
“Why do you lot care so much?” Bakugo angrily said pissed that training had been cut early.
“He’s our teacher, what if something bad happened Kacchan.” Midoriya answered but it just fuelled Bakugo’s anger.
“We should follow him.” Denki suggested. “It might be serious and if people need help, we can help.”
They nodded, all assuming it had something to do with hero work, seeing Aizawa in his car, they started to follow him on foot, “we should’ve taken one of the buses.” Bakugo scowled following.
“We cant drive.” Kirishima muttered back.
Bakugo huffed following them all on the long walk, it was easy enough to keep following due to the mass traffic occurring. Aizawa having got the room number, he didn’t care for his surroundings, his eyes fixated on the road.
He finally saw the sign for the hospital and breathed out hoping you hadn’t gotten into labour yet. “Why is he at a hospital?” Ururaka questioned, “do you think someone got hurt?”
“Maybe we should go back.” Momo said not wanting to intrude on something that could have no villainous intent.
“Shut up extra’s, we’re already here.” Bakugo muttered walking to the entrance, they all followed the angry boy who glared at the children coming out of that ward.
“When did you care about the injured?” Kirishima questioned the blond.
“I don’t, you dragged me with you so now we’re staying.” For one thing the boy was persistent.
Across the hospital, Aizawa had ran to the room and saw your eyes filled with fury, your mother holding your hand as he could see how much pain you were in. “Look what the cat dragged in.” You scowled in pain.
“You can take over now.” Is all her mother said, going outside and waiting. He took her place and in an instance your hands had grabbed his.
“You must be the husband, I’ll be helping your wife, can you wear these?” The doctor spoke passing the blue overall type to keep his clothes covered, Aizawa obliged still holding your hand. “Mrs Aizawa you’re about 9cm dilated once you get to 10cm I’m going to tell you to push, okay?”
You were breathless and felt dreary, it would’ve been fine if it wasn’t for the fact you were having twins. You knew you’d go through even more pain then normal and in that moment felt scared.
“Hey kitten, look at me, you’ll do amazing.” Aizawa tried to be encouraging but even he was scared for all three of you.
“It hurts.” You tried to hide the tears, but it mixed in with the sweat.
“I know kitten, but you can grab onto me as hard as you want.” He smiles moving the strands of hair away from your sweaty forehead.
“10cm’s.” One of the nurses spoke out, the doctor nodded before looking at the angry you and calm husband.
“Mrs Aizawa you need to start pushing.” The pain was excruciating, you tried to push your grip on Aizawa’s hands becoming tighter. It was the worst pain you’d gone through and you’d been stabbed before.
Aizawa gave words of encouragement but all you wanted to do was tell him to shut up, tears cascaded down your face whilst pushing. “I see a head.” The doctor spoke, “keep pushing.”
You pushed a long with what the nurses had told you, in time to make sure you weren’t just randomly pushing. Aizawa was the first to see it, first to see the baby come out, it was quiet before wailing out loud, it was his turn to cry. The baby being placed on your chest before the doctor continued, “one more push, let’s get the other one out.”
You felt the first baby on your ski grabbing your neck as you kept on pushing, “I don’t want too.” You cried out but seeing Aizawa and how he looked at the baby on your chest you knew you needed too.
“Come on kitten, one more push.” He spoke a loud, you suppresses the tears before feeling another hard push come and the head of another baby erupt out of you. The doctor but the second baby on your chest, both their crying having stopped.
They stayed on you, you let go of Aizawas hand as the doctor told him he could cut the umbilical cord, he happily obliged before looking at the two babies that you both had created. They were smaller then normal and there eyes were tightly shut clinging onto their new mother.
“We need to weigh and clean them.” The doctor spoke as two nurses took the babies ready to put tags on them, the oldest had been a boy and the youngest a girl. You missed there touch and hold wanting to hold them again but watching them being taken out.
“We did it.” You spoke sleepily as you felt yourself being cleaned up and ready to be moved into another room.
“Yeah, we did.” Aizawa spoke going in to kiss your temple, “we’re parents.”
Tears brimmed his eyes; this normal dry flat facial features had become happier and all he could think about was how you looked with his two children. How he had gotten a family that he had never expected to have had.
Being moved to a different room, Aizawa followed sitting on the chair beside you. You saw the two babies come back to you both, in an instance they were placed back into your arms. “You can hold them?”
You had seen Aizawa’s hesitance to even touch the babies, but he knew how to do it and with ease they both were situated in his arms. You could hear your mother outside, she seemed to be talking to some people, but you ignored it watching at how Aizawa’s eyes welled up at the two babies.
“Where are my grandchildren?” Your mother spoke a loud before having heart eyes at how Aizawa was holding your babies.
“Mum, please be quieter.”
“Hey, I had to handle your screams, let me be happy, they look adorable with their father.” She spoke moving to the bed.
“They really do.” You both watched him look at the two children, a tear falling from his face.
Your mother turned back to you and she smiled at you, “I’m proud of you.” You give a nod holding her hand before she speaks, “have you two got any na…”
Before she could continue you hear the door open with the doctor coming in, “it seems you two have more visitors.”
You were both confused on the matter, nobody really knew you had gone into pregnancy except your parents and his and your father was still at work whilst his parents were out of town. It was unexpected but your eyes widen when you see the group of 16-year olds.
“They were wondering around the hospital.” The doctor speaks, Aizawa hadn’t noticed his students, but you and your mother had.
The kids were in shock at seeing a pro hero in a hospital bed but there eyes went to Aizawa’s he had been looking at his babies, unaware of his surroundings.
Nobody spoke instead just watching Aizawa interact with the two new-born babies, a smile placed on his normal flat self. “Did he steal two babies?” You hear one of them whisper, you instantly begin to speak after that.
“Shouta.” You whisper.
“Yeah.” He was so out of dazed but once he turns to face them all, he’s in shock as well.
“I’ll leave you to handle this.” Your mother leaves not wanting to have to explain this scenario.
Aizawa was still in shock, you reach out for one of the babies, he passes you the youngest, who starts to grab at your fingers. He sits holding the boy, before the class start cascading you both in questions.
“Are they yours?”, “How do you know Pro Hero Y/n?”, “Who is she to you?”
Aizawa looks at them and then at his family, you nod a sign that he could tell them everything, “This is my wife, and these are our new kids.”
It was a simple but effective, the class in shock that there homeroom teacher who seemed to be detached had you the loving pro hero as a wife, but even more now had two kids.
“Congratulations.” They all spoke a loud. It was rehearsed and you could tell that it all came out due to shock.
“What are you doing here anyway, I thought we said go back to the dorms.” Aizawa scowled.
“Baby, it’s fine, it’s good they found out anyway, since you wont be teaching them for a bit.” You calmed the man down.
He shakes his head at how easily you calmed him down, “you’re an amazing pro hero.” Midoriya spoke a loud, you thanked him before they didn’t know what else to say.
“I’ll go call Nezu, he can get you back to UA.” Aizawa muttered handing you the other child as he left the room.
“You married Aizawa.” Mina spoke a loud everybody looked at her, “what? We were all thinking it?”
You laugh looking at them all, “yes I did.”
“And you slept with him.” Mina continued with ever more eyes growing wider.
You continued to laugh, “that is how I got pregnant.”
“What are their names?” Ururaka asked coming towards the two kids.
You sat upright, letting them have a closer look, they all came forward even Bakugo who saw children as devils spawn. They were fresh out and anew, so pure and innocent as they tugged onto your hair.
“We haven’t decided yet.” You said looking at the two kids, you notice Aizawa at the door looking at the class as they surrounded you and the babies. The way they were quieter than they had ever been around two new-borns, they spent time asking questions and looking at the two babies. Before being dragged back to UA, all smiling happily at having spent the afternoon with two new-borns.
“They look like you.” You mutter sleepily, the two babies being put to sleep on the other sides of the room. “We made them.”
“I love you.” He whispers kissing you softly, you kiss back, happily at the new family you had and Aizawa finally realised what his happiness was. You and your two babies were all he ever needed now.

Headcanons for zutara with zuko & hakoda interactions?
Hi, anon, this one really got me thinking so thanks for sending it in!
I know a lot of fics explore Hakoda having his initial misgivings about Zuko, just as himself and in a relationship with Katara. While I get where that comes from and I think it makes for good plot, I don't think it actually makes sense in a lot of contexts, including in my own works. Zuko put his life at risk to help Sokka free Hakoda from the Boiling Rock. If Hakoda still had doubts after that, then surely Katara and/or Sokka would have had a conversation with their dad about what happened with Zuko at the Western Air Temple, if not there then certainly at some point after the war. And if all that weren't sufficient for Hakoda, he would inevitably end up getting to know Zuko in their capacities as Chief and Fire Lord. With Zuko helping to rebuild the SWT with a strong trade corridor and reparation funding, and coming to the South on state visits quite a lot, Hakoda would have more than enough reasons to like him by the time Katara and Zuko start dating in their early twenties.
I think that when he finds out they're together, he'd have some questions for Zuko about the long-term feasibility of their relationship, i.e. what kind of future does Katara have ahead of her as his consort, but once those are answered, I imagine that Hakoda approves wholeheartedly.
I actually think that any issues would come much later on, when Katara and Zuko have been married a few years and the grandchildren start coming. Like when Katara has issues in her first and second pregnancies, Hakoda is very aware that his daughter is struggling but he can't go to her. It gets to be tormenting, he starts to resent the distance between them a little, and it doesn't abate when the children get a bit older because Katara and Zuko get stuck in somewhat of a catch 22:
They want to go south more often because they have the kids and they want them to have proper bonds with Hakoda, Gran Gran, and Sokka and Suki and their cousins, as well as being in touch with their Water Tribe heritage. On the flip side, though, there's also the temptation to go south less because they have the kids - 7+ days trapped on a ship with young kids would be hell no matter how well behaved they are. It's just a not-great situation all round because everyone involved feels the way they do but no one is actually in the wrong, nor is there like a definitive way for anyone to fix it. Because of that there's never any arguments or anything; it's just mild tension of things being what they are, essentially.
But it gets a whole lot better when powered airships become commercialised, makes international travel a matter of hours rather than days, and Katara and Zuko and the kiddos can visit so much easily and frequently.
On the whole, I hc that Zuko and Hakoda have a really strong relationship. I imagine that Zuko learns a great deal about being a leader and a father from Hakoda, and Hakoda likes getting political advice from Zuko, too, sometimes. I imagine that Hakoda calls him son a lot, even before Katara and Zuko were romantically involved, which Zuko absolutely loves and imparts to his own boys - Zuko is constantly calling Kai and Kallik son because of how it feels and how much it means to him. Hakoda would involve Zuko in all the tribe's rites of passage, too, like Hakoda presides over his ice-dodging initiation and he teaches Zuko how to hunt game, how to navigate on the glaciers, how to sail the cutters, etc.
Iroh would always be the main father figure in Zuko's life and nothing could replace that, even after Iroh passes, but Hakoda would be so important for Zuko, too.

Warrior Heart
Chapter 1
Riven x Light Fairy Reader
Plot: After the ending of Winx Saga season 1, the reader must navigate the rest of her second year in the shifting school environment. She wants to learn how to fight and defend herself.
Chapter 2
Tumblr media
It had been a month since Alfea had been taken over by Rosalind. Headmistress Dowling was still missing and Headmaster Silva had been arrested. Professor Harvey was still teaching, but you could tell that he was on thin ice with Rosalind. Andreas of Eraklyon, Sky’s father, had taken over Silva’s role of training the specialists.
You were an air fairy in your second year. Your powers, which allowed you to manipulate the density of air particles, were firmly within your control and you had been one of Headmistress Dowling’s prodigies.
In your first year, you had roomed with Stella and Rikki. You were there when Stella had lost control of her powers and accidentally blinded Rikki, who was sent away by Queen Luna. After that incident, you had lost one of your best friends and the other began to pull away from you. You watched from afar as Stella’s life at Alfea began to fall apart. Her magic was irreparably damaged. You knew Stella felt incompetent next to you, who had been labeled by Dowling to be the “most talented fairy of your generation”. You tried not to use your powers near Stella, but you still could still feel her resentment, even though you weren’t a mind fairy.
Now, Stella was rooming with first years and you were alone. You had mended your friendship over the summer, especially after she had broken up with Sky. Her new roommates became your friends, even though you lived alone. If you were being honest, it was actually kinda nice to have a room all to yourself.
But now, things were taking a darker turn. Stella’s mother was currently residing in the school, and no one liked her. Queen Luna was cruel, especially to Stella. She doted on you because you were a powerful fairy, but you wished she didn’t. It made Stella feel even more inadequate when she didn’t receive the same attention from her own mother.
Bloom was Rosalind’s protege. She did everything Rosalind ordered, without asking any questions. Bloom and the other girls felt like Aisha had betrayed the rest of them and you honestly just wanted to graduate without anymore drama after your fourth year.
Sky was more of a mystery. You couldn’t tell how he felt about his father’s return. You knew that even though Sky might be happy to see his father, he would never forgive Andreas for Silva’s arrest and subsequent absence. Sky seemed to be dating Bloom though, after another breakup with Stella. He mostly kept to himself, only really hanging out with Bloom. Sky also wasn’t talking to Riven.
Riven and Dane turned out to be Beatrix’s lackeys. They followed her every step and worshipped the ground she walked on. You were disgusted by how much Riven had changed. Before this year, he had been arrogant, but now he was just a straight up asshole.
The specialist presence on campus has increased immensely. Rosalind cited the burned ones as the reason for more security. You couldn’t help but feel uncomfortable whenever you walked to class, the stares of the guards like needles in your skin. You also hated how vulnerable they made you feel. The older specialists were a constant reminder that you were defenseless and you hated that feeling. That was why you were currently at the specialists training field at ten pm, trying to smash a dummy.
You had seen the specialists do it when they were training. They would punch the dummy and it would fall. It couldn’t be that difficult. Ok well, unfortunately it was. You had tried to punch the dummy at least six times already, and it seemed like it was doing more damage to you based on the state of your knuckles.
You put your arms back into position and struck out, this time pushing more strength into your blow. Your fist collided with the center of the target on the dummy and it fell backwards a little bit. You let out a small squeal of excitement at the first amount of progress you had made.
“Why are you so excited? You only made the dummy move a fraction of an inch and it took you eight tries.” Said a voice behind you.
You whirled around to see a person standing behind you, their identity obscured by the darkness. It didn’t matter that it was dark. You knew by the cocky voice exactly who it was.
“It was six tries and no one asked your opinion, Riven.” You replied.
“Well, I wanted to give it anyway. And here’s another one: you’re punches are shit.” He said. You rolled your eyes. It didn’t matter that your punches were shit, you didn’t like being told by him.
“What are you doing out here? Running from your homicidal bitch of a girlfriend?” You said tauntingly.
“1) she’s not my girlfriend. 2) I could ask you the same question, Y/n.”
“So, you were running from Beatrix.”
“No, I was talking a walk, but your pathetic excuse for a punch ruined it.”
“You could just leave then. The dorms are back that way.” You said, pointing to the specialist hall.
“I’m just leaving now. Here’s a free tip: widen your stance and use your core.” Riven said as he walked off. You turned around and did as he suggested, widening the distance between your two feet. Then, you brought your arm back and swung while tightening your core. Your fist hit the dummy and it sailed backwards and hit the ground. You let out a triumphant cry of joy and walked back to your room.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
When you woke up the next morning, the first thing you noticed was your knuckles. They were red and raw. If any of your friends saw your hands, they wouldn’t stop asking questions. You put on a sweater which was just a hint too big and pulled the sleeves over your hands.
You walked to your first class, which was taught by Rosalind. Her teaching style was way different from Headmistress Dowling’s. Instead of sitting at desks, you were told to stand around the edge of the room. All of the desks had been removed from the classroom and a table small table had been set up in the middle of the open space. On it were three bowls that contained water, dirt, and sticks.
“Good morning, class. Today, we will be learning how to use our magic without the guidance of our hands.” Rosalind said. The class chittered with excitement. This was the most exciting lesson for second years.
“We’re going to be doing things a little differently. Headmistress Dowling taught you useless magic. I will be teaching you how to use it offensively and we will practice on each other.” Rosalind continued. Someone spoke up.
“I thought we weren’t supposed to use our magic on other students!” Your classmate said.
“Using your magic on each other is the only way to hone your skills. This new rule will be put into place effective immediately.” Rosalind replied.
You watched as Rosalind called up two of your classmates. One was an earth fairy and the other was a water fairy. Rosalind proceeded to teach them how to draw on their magic without using their hands. Headmistress Dowling and already taught you this, so you zoned out. Instead of watching the two fairies in the center try to battle it out, you thought about last night.
You were surprised that Riven had helped you. A part of his first year self had come through and you were pleasantly happy about it. It was good to know that he wasn’t just Beatrix’s lap dog.
“Y/n and Fiora, you’re up next.” Rosalind said. You rolled your eyes. Fairy parents were so unoriginal with names for their children. Of course Fiora was a fire fairy.
You stepped into the center of the room. You reached out with your mind and the air around you condensed, becoming a thick shield. It was invisible, so no one could tell that you had already armed yourself.
“Y/n, are you ready?” Fiora said. She was holding a bunch of the sticks you had seen in one of the bowls. Well, it seemed like her plan was to torch the stick and throw it at you, just like the three other fire fairies had done in the last few rounds. How unoriginal, you thought. You were honestly bored of this already.
You nodded and reached out with your mind once again. Fiora’s eyes lit up as she used her powers and stared at the sticks, but nothing happened. She knit her eyebrows in concentration. The concentration turned to confusion when the sticks turned black.
“What are you doing?” Fiora said to you. Everyone was now staring at you intensely. Honestly, it was really simple. Fire needed oxygen to light, so you had removed the oxygen in the air from around your the sticks, creating a little bubble around them. Fiora was just heating them up to the point where they charred. You tell she was growing frustrated and angry so you drew your powers back from her.
What you didn’t expect, thought, was for her to launch two fireballs at you. You had still kept the shield of air up around you, so they hit the barrier and fizzled out. Fiora launched fireball after fireball at you and she began sweating. She was wearing herself out, but you weren’t even fazed. You wanted to end this, so you reached out with your power and formed a hand with the air in front of Fiora. You used the hand to push her towards the edge of the room.
Rosalind began clapping while the other students stared at you in awe.
“Now that is a perfect example of offensive mental magic!” Rosalind exclaimed.
heeey! so back when @eirianerisdar posted chapter 12 of their fic the ransom of the house of fëanor - that’s the one where they finally let the brothers hellspawn and their idiot dad out of the void, but they have to throw elrond in, all very sad - i thought up my own somewhat fluffier vastly dumber au for the end of that chapter. in honour of the fic being finished, i’ve decided to write up the various scattershot ideas i’ve had for it, with the caveat that i’ll be working off my own slightly different background headcanons
the divergence point is roughly when elrond announces that he’s totally going into the void now, for realsies, the local ainur are nodding solemnly, and the fëanorians are running preliminary can-we-take-them calculations. except for maedhros, who’s very sad to hear that they must sacrifice his nephew to the eternal dark for their freedom, ‘tis truly a shame, they will honour his memory and GET THE BOAT, BOYS
or, the original elf mad scientist, his murderous blood-hungry spawn, a guy who’s extremely grouchy about not getting to do his dramatic self-sacrifice, and their somewhat-less-reluctant-than-he-should-be getaway driver go on the lam
how they got away from the valar:
námo: already knew this was going to happen, but it’s not like anyone ever listens to him, is it? in the moment, was a little more concerned with how morgoth had started belly-crawling towards the doors of night
manwë: never wanted to throw elrond into the void in the first place, and has been silently hoping elrond would call his bluff for the past week. the children are all safe and inside like they should be, and isn’t that what really matters?
eönwë: no it isn’t boss the fëanorians are a completely unpredictable wildcard we cannot afford to let them run around unsupervised!!! would probably have at least delayed the family hellspawn until backup could arrive, except
olĂłrin: realised what maedhros was planning almost immediately and had to consciously force down a shit-eating grin. as soon as the brothers started moving, divetackled eĂśnwĂŤ
-
[from a note attached to a harpoon lodged outside the highest window on the white tower of the isle of seabirds]
elwing - it went better than i expected, honestly. the sons of fëanor took about as much offense to elrond’s plan as everyone else has, except when words didn’t work they resorted to action. they dragged him onto vingilot and i followed them, and then we cast off together. we’ve set sail for as far away from the doors of night as we can get. i’m coming with them, of course, i’m not letting these lunatics crash my baby
i’m not entirely certain when we’ll be back? the fëanorians seem worried the valar might come after us, which wouldn’t surprise me, really. i’m taking us out towards middle-earth, we’ll see where we go after that. they’re all screaming at each other and running across the deck, i’m not convinced they have much of a plan. elrond is yelling too, he’s arguing with either caranthir or curufin, can’t tell which. the one i suspect is maglor has wrapped himself around his neck and refuses to let go. our son is alive and healthy and not in the eternal darkness, and for that, at least, i am grateful
the redhead who’s co-opted the harpoons says we’re coming up on your tower. no one’s done anything to threaten me or elrond, or even looked at the silmaril. there’s something nice about sailing with a crew again, no matter who it is. i love you, and i’ll be back as soon as i can - eärendil
[from a note attached to a harpoon found among the ruins of a house in the tirion stonecarvers’ district]
you were right, nerdanel. you were right about everything, and i was wrong. i’m sorry. the boys and i are going on another adventure right now, but we’ll come back to you someday, i promise
[from the same note, in much neater handwriting]
tell tyelpĂŤ i love him, and also that the coordinates are [rest torn off]
the first sign of this mess that reaches arda is the morning and evening star disappearing from the sky. gondorian astronomers, haradren scholars, avarin priests all stare flummoxed as the star of high hope simply fails to appear before the sun. no matter how unsuperstitous they are everyone agrees this is a really bad omen, and all across the globe the high halls of power tremble in fear over the new horror this must portend
the first sign of this mess that reaches the shire (except for that one took who’s really into astrology) is when eight-year-old elanor gardner rushes into bag end the next day, all ‘dad! dad! there are elves in the woods!’
sam is pretty chuffed to hear this. the fair folk don’t pass through the shire half as often as they used to, and it’s been some years since he heard their song. if they’re in the neighbourhood, why, it’d only be polite to say hello, wish them luck on their journey, hand them a letter. he packs up a nice tuck-box full of goodies to share, and then sam and elanor (and frodo, who’s going through a following-his-big-sister-around-and-copying-everything-she-does phase) set out to meet the elves
first they hear the shouting. then they see the smoke
at the end of the path his daughter leads him down, sam finds the wreckage of what looks like a crashed boat strewn across the forest, still faintly smouldering. at least a dozen elves are rushing between and up the trees, yelling at each other in the angriest quenya he’s ever heard. in the middle of the impact crater stands a blonde elf carrying a stone that shines like the phial of galadriel, wailing something sam knows just enough sindarin to recognise as ‘MY SHIIIIIIIIIP’
as sam’s gaze pans over the unfolding catastrophe, his eyes land on one of the last elves he’d expected to see, master elrond. elrond is rubbing his temple, groaning like someone who knows he’s the most responsible person around and really wishes he wasn’t. a vaguely familiar sketchy-as-fuck elf is clinging onto his shoulders, in a not-dissimilar way to how frodo-lad is currently riding on sam. elrond catches sam’s gaze
‘greetings, master samwise,’ says the wisest elf-lord of the west, ignoring the scuffle that’s breaking out behind him. ‘i must apologise for my relations’
(fĂŤanor and elanor become fast friends, teaching each other their languages and exploring the shire together. absolutely no one else is okay with this)
-
fĂŤanor, dragging an incredibly-put-upon elrond around the citadel of minas tirith: grandbabies!
fĂŤanor, marvelling over the embroidery arwen is showing him: great-grandbabies!
fĂŤanor, carrying a tiny giggling eldarion all the way up the tower of gondor: great-great-grandbabies!
fĂŤanor, staring fixedly at an increasingly apprehensive aragorn: great-great-great...
celegorm, on dad-watching duty: actually if you lay the maths out it’s very likely every human in middle-earth is descended... from... elros... fuck
fĂŤanor: has gone completely still
fĂŤanor: massive grin spreading across his face, eyes sparkling like the two trees brought back to life
fĂŤanor: eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
ASSASSIN’S MODERN DAY PROFESSIONS
—————————————————
ALTAÏR
Tumblr media
College Professor
-We all know that AltaĂŻr has spent most of his life teaching, so what better job does he have than a college professor?
-He knows what he’s talking about, that much is certain, but sometimes he gets a little too lost in his lesson to realize that his students are scratching their heads. So it’s normal to have students staying after class, but they leave understanding every word of what he said.
-He’s not the fun teacher, but he’ll be able to teach you what you need and still remember it at the end of the day.
-He’s pretty lenient, and even with the obnoxious students who cause a scene, he calmly gets them to at least do their work.
-Other teachers always use him as a reference when it comes to the perfect teacher.
EZIO AUDITORE
Tumblr media
-I can see Ezio being a public speaker since he’s not all that scared of crowds and spends a lot of time giving advice, so I think he’d really enjoy being able to help a crowd of people whose lives are falling apart
-Ezio would be the single anchor in a sea of storms because he always seems to have an answer for everything. He’s a man whose words are turned into inspirational quotes that people hang on their walls.
-When he says that things will be okay, no one doubts him since they know that he lost his father and his brothers very early on and that it took years for Ezio to accept the loss the way he had. If he could soldier through it, why couldn’t they?
-He doesn’t involve himself in politics, finding them to be a waste of time and breath despite how many people ask for his input on the political status of the country he’s staying in.
-He speaks to a lot of people in private, letting them speak their minds and giving his advice if they want it. He’s a therapist without a license, and you always feel hopeful about life leaving his office.
Connor
Tumblr media
Construction or Sports
-This boy was designed for heavy work, and I’ve heard some good points in saying that not only would he be amazing at sports, but he’d also really enjoy it too.
-In my personal headcanon, I think he’d be a good construction worker as well. Not the high end kind that build skyscrapers or anything, but I can see him building simple houses for small communities, taking the lower jobs that can’t afford much help like the sweetheart he is. He definitely volunteers to make houses for the homeless.
-Since most of the homeless he helps don’t have much money, he makes sure to offer them baked goods because he’s definitely a baker.
Edward Kenway
Tumblr media
-As a young man, he joins the navy
-Once he’s on his own, he buys his own boat and treats it like royalty.
-He’s not a pirate himself, but he does let less legal people on board for a price. At the time, it was just an easy cash pay since people paid good money when they were desperate.
-When he’s older and gets a grip on some of the people he’s helping (like the REALLY bad criminals) he quickly lets it go.
-Yet after seeing some of the more decent people and the places they were running from, I can see him being a sort of smuggler, but instead of smuggling drugs or weapons, he sells medicines, canned foods, and clothes to the regions where they’re scarce or hard to pay for.
-When he’s older and found a fortune over time, he starts up his own official charity, hiring various sailers to sail supplies to more places than he himself could alone.
SHAY CORMAC
Tumblr media
-Okay, I have to say it. Shay would DEFINITELY be an FBI spy. Maybe I haven’t thought of it as heavily as I could, but he just strikes me as a man who could kill someone in plain sight and still not be seen.
-He already knows everything he can about infiltrating and getting vital information
-He knows exactly how to manipulate people to get what he wants.
-He’s like Macgyver but as an agent.
-He does things that make sleeping at night impossible, but he tells himself that every long night for him is another person somewhere else having a peaceful night, and peaceful nights means he’s doing his job. Right?
-Constantly questions his morals, but he can’t bring himself to stop, not knowing that he’d do if he stopped, because at least here he’s doing something. He’s contributing.
-That and maybe I might or might not want to see Shay in a suit 🤷‍♀️
AVELINE
Tumblr media
-Actress. And a damn good one. She’s one of the kind of people who get paid millions each job and gives most of her cash on people who really need it. Not only that, she’s a fan favorite everywhere.
-She takes extra jobs in smaller businesses barely staying afloat, and public morality boosts has nothing to do with it. In fact, she keeps her fame life out of everything, choosing to see it just as another job.
-I can see her sharing similarities of Zendaya or Zoe Zaldana
ARNO DORIAN
Tumblr media
-High school teacher or actor, I can’t decide.
-Because let’s be honest, this guys brain is more wrinkled than a raisin. He knows his stuff.
-He’s good at simplifying what he’s saying, and that happens to be a very useful trait when it comes to teaching.
-If he was a teacher, he’d be a damn good one, that’s for sure. No one will fail his class because he’s so good at explaining things, and he’d be the one who actually cares for his students.
-When it comes to acting... just admit that Arno’s a theater boy through and through. If you need proof, he’s the only one with a crazy amount of fancy robes and colors. FOR GODS SAKE HE OWNS A THEATER! So on modern day, I could totally see him as an actor as well.
-He’d be the Ewan Mcgregor of the modern day, because everyone recognizes him from SOMEWHERE because he’s really tested his acting ability on multiple various roles. Well read, charming, and level headed, he’d totally rock being an actor. He’s good friends with Aveline, and when they both have time in their busy schedules, they stop by for coffee and fill each other in on their life.
JACOB
Tumblr media
-Boxing
-I saw the photoshops of Jacob in boxer life, and I have not been the same because oh my god that is amazing.
-but absolutely he’d be a boxer. He’s the shortest guy in the entire match, but he doesn’t need a stool to knock you on your ass before you can laugh about it.
-His opponents are lucky shattering bones is against the rules because he knows how to make someone wish their dad wore a condom.
-A lot of people think that his rounds must be rigged, and his sister had to physically hold him back every time Jacob threatened to give him a close up of how ‘rigged’ his fights were.
-Jacobs a powder keg, so it doesn’t take much to make him explode, and a lot of the less respectful people he has to fight picks particularly sore spots to do just that.
-He might be pissed, but his punch isn’t the only thing that stings. He knows exactly what words to use, and when they’ve gone too far, he doesn’t hold back.
-Might have a temper, but he has a good heart despite it all. He visits schools and completely turns his personality around with kids. He signs autographs, takes pictures, and makes sure that every one of them have a fun day because he knows that there’s some kids in this school that don’t have those kinds of days. He pays the school for field days each time, making sure they all get out. They bring out the scooters, parachutes, capture the flag, and ‘wrestling’ matches for the kids who want to face him. He loses every time. He never has a bigger smile on his face than when he has children fans walk up to him.
EVIE
Tumblr media
-She is totally a lawyer and you can’t change my mind.
-Logic and Facts are her strongest weapons, and so far she has yet to lose a debate.
-Every other lawyer knows that seeing Evie walk into court is an instant death sentence, because like her brother, her words are sharp as a knife and her mind is even sharper.
-If they didn’t look identical, no one would believe that she would be related with Jacob the hot headed boxer, because she was level as water and was near impossible to make angry, but god help the poor sod that presses her.
-Her clients almost always get the best case scenario with Evie by their side by how good she is.
-Also like her brother, children are her weak spot, and her hard composure melts whenever she needs to speak to a child in the witness post, making sure that the child feel comfortable unlike the others that drill the kid with questions when they’re too skittish to answer. She takes her time and gets the kid feeling safe, and gently asks their side.
-Evie might not do it as a profession, but Evie has beaten Jacob in the boxing ring in the gym. She knows damn well how to handle herself, knowing she’d need it since she’d be fighting corrupt politicians or gang members who have too often tried attempts at her life. Every time she emerged unscathed, using the attempt at even more evidence against them and insuring a spot in jail. No one dared try attacking her again after that.
BAYEK
Tumblr media
-I’m thinking police officer or motivational speaker for trauma.
-Either way, he’s a guardian who takes care of the people he’s in charge of. He knows words well, and having been down the dark path himself, he knows exactly what people experience and what they want to hear.
-Be the change you want to see in the world, and that’s exactly what he’s doing.
-He’d be a well respected officer, and he’s not afraid of telling off a comrade if someone is wrongfully accused. He’s not very popular in the police station, but as long as he’s doing his job, he’s satisfied.
-He’s saved several people over the course in his life, and his word is well honored since he’s on no ones side. He sees things as what they are and doesn’t twist events he disagreed with to his point of view. Even if it hurts him personally, he doesn’t lie.
-He’s divorced, but they’re still best friends with each other and visit when they can.
AYA (ran out of gifs. Sorry)
-She is hands down a self defense teacher for women
-She sells hidden self defense tools for less than ten dollars, always sure to keep constantly supply of them since many have confessed that they’ve saved them from dangerous situations.
-Like her former husband, she’s a protector and makes sure she provides her students with the best.
-She teaches children what to do if they ever get grabbed, and she’s had many parents in years thanking her when that information ended up saving their child’s life.
ALEXIOS
-Hands down he is a stunt double
- Preferably Arno’s since he relies more on flexibility than brute strength. Then there’s the fact that they look similar enough in features
-He does the moves that would probably be safer if they were just CGI, but he hates those computers with a passion, preferring to do the real thing instead of giving out something fake. He’s broken more bones than he can count, and the companies he works with always have a medic on standby when something goes wrong.
-They tried convincing him that they only needed him for a few spots, but after realizing that he wanted this (and him assuring them that he doesn’t bother with suing), they let him do his thing. The results are fruitful since the most nitpicky movie fans are absolutely thrilled when there’s a particular move done right.
-He teaches Arno a good few things about how to do action scenes, and they’re definitely good friends.
KASSANDRA
-Roller Derby
-She lives for throwing people and smacking them without being judged for it, so the Derby’s her safe spot.
-Everyone on the opposing team is terrified of her, always scared when they see her devilish smile, knowing that they’re about to get their asses handed to them. Like her brother, she’s an adrenaline junky, and when she’s not doing the derby, she’s going off into car races in a water trench. She’s surprisingly very good with cars too, knowing the inside and out of a car like the back of her hand.
-She loves it when men try to catcall her. It gives her a perfect opportunity to punch them in the face.
-She loves the races themselves because no one expects it. Sometimes she pretends to act like a beginner and absolutely slaughter them, giving them a nice wink before driving out with her cash.
-Only has a soft spot for the girl who visits her on weekends. She’s practically her older sister, and there will be hell to pay if her favorite kid gets hurt in any way.
EIVOR
-BACA(Bikers Against Child Abuse)
-The moment I saw this, I instantly thought about them.
-they would absolutely be a part of this
-Looking all badass in leather while turning into a softie for children? That’s Eivors entire character right there.
-Eivors not afraid to get physical with an abuser. They’d beat the abuser to a pulp and right after take the child out for ice cream.
-No one messes with Eivor, knowing that their lenience was stretched only for children. Anyone else tried to pressure her? Your teeth would be shattered and they’d wear the bits for a necklace.
-Children are much more brave around them because they’re tougher than their parent and on their side, so they’re not afraid to give them to the police
Stupid Sexy Romanoff
Natasha Romanoff x Reader
Summary: Tony takes the avengers on a snowy retreat, where he finds out about your crush on Natasha. He and Clint convince you to do something a little bit stupid and it does not go according to plan. At least you get Natasha’s attention.
Contents/Warnings: Fluffy fluff, some dumbass energy from many people
Words: 1,539
AN - Yes, this was absolutely originally inspired by that one Simpsons scene and it would not let me rest until I had written it. Stupid sexy Flanders.
Tumblr media
“Woah, Y/N, I didn’t know you could shred like that,” Tony says as you come skidding to a stop next to him and Clint on the alpine snow.
The billionaire had decided to take you all on a trip to a Swiss ski resort, in the name of relaxation and team bonding.
“There’s a dry ski slope about an hour away from the town I grew in, I haven’t been in a long while but I guess snowboarding is like riding a bike,” you offer. Plopping yourself down near Clint, who was currently sitting on Steve’s shield after he’d been using it as a sledge.
“Maybe now you’re here you can convince Stark to actually go down the mountain, instead of just standing here like a baby,” the archer points to the man’s skis, “you know they have instructors here to teach you how to use those things.”
Tony scoffs. “I don’t need any instructing, Barton. It can’t be that hard surely, I mean children can do it.”
“You could always ask our friendly god of hammers for some pointers,” you say, gesturing behind you as Thor shoots past, screaming with joy. The asgardian had turned out to be surprisingly good at the winter sport and was currently having the time of his life.
When the men next to you descend into bickering, you zone out. Letting your gaze wander until it lands on Natasha, who’s stood chatting with Steve further down the slope.
You’d had a crush on the redhead ever since you’d met her during the whole thing with Loki, but hadn’t said anything to her in fear of ending up looking like an idiot.
Clint was the only one who knew and he’d been pretty useless at helping. Simply teasing you about it, as he’d decided to be an adult, for once, and respect Natasha’s privacy on the matter.
You sigh softly as you look at her now. She was beautiful, and kind of cute, with her little bobble hat and her googles on top of her head. The tips of her nose and ears slightly pink from the cold, and her flawless tresses only highlighted by the white around her.
As you follow the fall of her hair down to her outfit, you inhale sharply, coughing as the icy air hits the back of your throat.
The assassin was clad in a black and red ski suit, with a close enough fit that you could see the lines of her muscles. Along with a great view of her assets. It was safe to say that it left nothing to the imagination, and your imagination was certainly running wild right now.
Your little coughing fit had gained the attention of Tony and Clint. Making them pause their argument and follow your line of slight.
“Well, Romanoff certainly isn’t bothered by the cold. You’d think she’d want to wear something more comfortable since we’re out of the office,” says the billionaire.
“Actually it is comfy, and warm, and incredibly aerodynamic. She got it for this one mission where she had to go undercover as a prospect for the winter olympics,” Clint explains, “I tried it on once. It felt like I was wearing nothing at all.”
That comment did absolutely nothing to help your thoughts, in fact it only made them less PG then they already were. You’re pretty sure the heat coming from your face could turn the slope below you into a waterfall if you put your head close enough.
Unfortunately for you, your flustered state draws Tony’s questioning gaze from the archer to yourself.
“Erm, Y/N are you okay? You look kind of...wait a minute,” his eyes light up as he interrupts himself, “Oh. My. God. You totally have the hots for Romanoff don’t you?”
“Finally, someone noticed,” Clint happily exposes you.
“Barton, you little shit!” you exclaim in shock, repeatedly trying to jab him in the ribs.
“Oh this is great,” Tony laughs before starting to sing, “Y/N and Natasha sitting in a tre-”
“Shut it, Stark,” you hiss. Taking one of his ski poles and smacking him around the back of the legs, causing him to fall on his back in front of the pair of you with a small ‘oof’.
“Rude. But since you’re like the little sister I never had, I’ll elect to ignore it in favour of being the annoying brother right now. Does she know about the little heart eyes routine you got going on over here?” he asks with a raised eyebrow.
You roll your eyes. “Does it look like she’s even remotely interested in me?”
“I don’t know, have you tried asking her?”
“This is Natasha Romanoff we’re talking about here, you think I want to risk making a fool out of myself and ruining our friendship?” you sigh dejectedly and put your chin on top of your knees. “And don’t bother asking Clint about it, I already tried,” you add when you see Tony turn toward the man, who was suddenly very quiet.
The billionaire huffs when he notices his glare isn’t doing anything to crack the archer’s resolve. But when his eyes land on the ramps that sat on one half of the snowy incline, the gears in his head start to turn.
His smirk widens when Clint throws him an encouraging look, clearly thinking along the same lines.
“Hey Y/N, why don’t you do a cool trick or something?” Tony asks while nodding toward the ramps.
“What?” you ask in reply, “What makes you think I can even do a trick?”
“Well, it can’t be that hard. I’ve seen you do loads of complicated acrobatics in training, and what about that time you flipped your motorbike over that bridge?”
“I’m sure Nat would be impressed if you did it,” Clint murmurs, trying to be subtle while eating some snow.
You cut your eyes at them both, wondering what they were up to.
“Fine,” you say. Pulling yourself up and setting off down the hill after thinking about it, it would be pretty cool if you did manage to pull it off.
Once you hit one of the bigger ramps, you lock eyes with Natasha, and your whole mind goes blank. You can’t stop staring and you’re quickly reminded of all those thoughts you’d just had. Which was not ideal, considering you had just launched yourself about 20 feet in the air.
Shit.
Instead of doing some epic flip in the air, you just sail through it and start plummeting to the earth. But lucky for you, you’re an avenger. You’re also heading for a nice pile of snow.
Snow is surprisingly hard, and you groan as you lay buried there, regretting many of your life choices. Not only had you eaten complete shit, you had done it in front of your long time crush. This was the worst trip you had ever been on.
“Leave me to my shame,” you whine as you feel someone undoing your boots from your snowboard before pulling you out by your leg.
Your embarrassment only grows as you look up into green eyes that are filled with worry.
“Are you alright, Y/N?” Natasha asks. Checking you over for any sign of blood or broken bones.
“Yeah, I’m fine,” you say, not quite meeting her eyes.
“You gonna explain what that was about then?” she asks with a hint of amusement as she helps you up.
You smile sheepishly and admit, “I was trying to show off.”
“Why?”
Being this close to her now, with her hands still lightly clasping yours and an adorable little frown on her face, you can’t find it in you to lie.
“I was trying to impress you. I really like you Natasha,” you confess quietly.
Her face slackens at your words, and you can feel your stomach sink. You gentle pull your hands from hers, letting out a long breath as you look down. Waiting for whatever her reaction might be.
To your surprise, a gloved hand comes up and cups your jaw. Tilting your head back up before a pair of soft lips land on your own.
You relax into the kiss as she holds you there. Blinking slowly when she pulls back with a sigh.
“I like you too, Y/N,” she says shyly. A smile tugging at her mouth and her face just a bit redder than it was before.
“How come you never said anything?” you ask, still not quite believing this was actually happening.
“I’m not really the best when it come to this whole feelings thing, so I wanted to makes sure that you might have felt the same about me before I did anything,” she trails off.
“Oh.”
The redhead hums. “And for the record you don’t have to impress me. I’ve seen what you can do, it’s pretty badass,” she says with a wink, before holding out her hand. “Now come on, I’ll get you a hot chocolate. Think of it as our first date.”
You can’t help the grin that breaks out onto your face as you take Natasha’s hand and let her drag you back up the mountain.
Maybe this trip wasn’t so bad after all.
