When I was 8 years old, there was this kid I knew who loved Resident Evil. He was obsessed with it, but he especially loved Leon. It was like this kid couldn’t get enough of him. I’ll never forget the way he would praise him without pausing for air or the way he let his hair grow out so he could style it like Leon. Now, I hated this kid with all my heart for reasons completely unrelated to his obsession, but even so, I began to hate Leon with all the passion I could muster at 8 years old.

I’m not proud of who I used to be, but I have grown enough as a person to realise I was wrong to hate on a character that brought a fellow child so much joy. Getting into Resident Evil years later and actually getting to form a proper opinion about the franchise and its characters has been quite fun, and my feelings regarding certain characters have changed from what they once were.

Having said that—Angel, if you’re reading this, I just wanted to say that I still hate Leon.

The thing about how sam’s arc in season 4 is often discussed is that people simultaneously acknowledge that the angels are bad, while claiming Sam is an idiot for rebelling against them.

like I have listened through three (3) rewatch podcasts and they always seem to fall into this loop of going ‘hey the angels are Obviously up to no good’ while also going ‘Sam is really stupid. Why would he trust a demon when literal angels are telling him to stop’

Anywho, I've been watching Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss. And I haven't seen almost anyone with the EXACT same theory as me. So, I'm going to get into it here lmao

WARNING: Spoilers Ahead! Heed With Caution!

Okay so, a lot of people also think that the mysterious Lilith has Alastor's soul (this isn't my whole theory just the basis). I do too and I'll present you with evidence I have collected:

Alastor and Lilith have both been gone for seven years.

There is a rumor that Alastor 'fell into holy arms' according to Zestial. And who do we know is in heaven? That's right, Lilith.

Now, time for the rest of my theory! During Alastor's fight with Adam to me it seems that Alastor isn't fighting at full power. Also after their fight he had a breakdown and started singing about the deal he made. Kinda out of nowhere if you haven't seen the light like I have lol! And I have considered that the shield might have taken a lot out of him. And that he was singing about wanting his freedom bc he was almost double dead. But I don't think that is completely the case here.

Do you remember the show of power he displayed when Mimzy brought trouble to the hotel's doorstep? He turned into a giant! Not only that but he was also using his shadow magic! And after a whole music number that he used his powers for! Here's a pic if you don't (I couldn't find a gif)!

And in the finale we learn that Lilith has a deal with Adam. So, I believe that due to the constraints of Alastor's deal with Lilith he couldn't kill Adam.

So, I recently watched Helluva Boss and as always I've been prusing the tags for it on tumblr to see what other people think about the story and characters.

Something that stuck out to me is when people say Striker is a hypocrite because he hates the Royals, puts down Blitz and Fizz for being with Royals, but he, himself, works for one. Also that his pitch he gave to Blitz about teaming up to take down Royals was all a lie.

Now, I'm not going to say he's not being a bit of a hypocrite, especially given how much he hates Royals. What I will say is that I understand why Striker wouldn't see it that way (besides the fact he has a seemingly desperate need to feel superior to other imps).

Striker wants to kill Royals--that is very clear. A huge hurtle to that goal is that they are immortal. The only thing that can kill them is Angelic Steel--something that is rare and expensive. Yes, Striker is supposedly a well known assassin, but it's doubtful he'd ever make enough money to afford Angelic Weapons without taking on extremely wealthy clients. The wealthiest would be those at the top.

We don't know if Striker has worked with Royals before. If we assume Stella was the first Royal he was hired by, that makes his choice to work with her make far more sense. Particularly when we take into account who her target is--her equally Royal husband.

Unless stated otherwise later, Stella must have provided Striker with his Angelic Weapons so he could kill Stolas. She doesn't just give him a single weapon, either. She gets him a sniper rifle, pistols, a knife and a rope so he can incapacitate Stolas and take his vast magic abilities away, rendering him helpless. On top of that, she is also paying him money.

Given Stella never brings up the fact he lost the sniper rifle, or demands he return the weapons she provides, this deal he's making, although hypocritical, is only a benefit for Striker. He's getting paid to kill someone he wants to anyway, and a new arsenal that gives him the capability to kill Royals afterward.

This is why I don't think his offer to Blitz was a lie. I think what he told Blitz is his long term goal/plan, and was simply offering Blitz to join him since he found Blitz to be somewhat equal to him after Blitz did so well in the harvest games. Once they killed Stolas, got Stella's money, they would turn around and start using those funds and weapons to kill more Royals.

The reason Striker doesn't see himself as on the same level as Blitz and Fizz with their relationships with Royals is because he sees himself as using Stella, where he perceives Blitz and Fizz as being used. It's true that Blitz gets similar benefits from his relationship with Stolas (if Striker even knows about Blitz using Stolas's spell book for his business, I can't recall) but given what Striker saw of their relationship, he would see Stolas using silly pet names despite Blitz disliking it and see that as Blitz debasing himself publicly for Stolas. Yes, Stella doesn't treat him with the upmost respect, but it's over the phone, without witnesses. Nor does he give her anything in return except a dead husband--someone he would have targeted anyway.

He sees Fizz as even worse because, to him, it appears Fizz has given up his own autonomy to live a cushy lifestyle. Yes, Fizz gains many benefits from being with Ozzie, but Striker views it as letting Ozzie take advantage of him, to let Ozzie treat him like a pet (which some people do, do to some imps). He doesn't know Ozzie loves Fizz--franky I don't think he'd believe a Royal could love an imp at all anyway.

Yes, he may work for a Royal, and take her orders, but he does so to pilfer more and more Angelic Weapons from her as well as take her money, all of which I'm sure he tells himself he will later use against her and the rest of the upper class. It's a business transaction that he actually holds all the cards in. Unlike Blitz and Fizz he doesn't have to publicly debase himself to get the benefits he seeks. At least that's how he sees things.

kurt m has been scared off, but forrest doesn't believe in ghosts, doesn't believe in demons, and the only person "living" in the basement, "underground," is clive, the janitor, and it's not like he never goes home, so what's the big deal?

until after his first week(?), peggy leaves slightly earlier than he does, and forrest is left alone only to hear a faint whistling coming from alllll the way down the stairs.

Hi, I've followed you since Lightlark and I just want to say- this may sound weird (and if so I apologize) but hearing about you being neurodivergent, aroace and such is kind of really helpful to me, because you're cool and have a lot of interesting thoughts and generally seem like a kind of person I'd be happy to be.

I stress a lot about missing out on "normal" life things, like romance or going out on the town to have "fun" (despite loathing alcohol, unfamiliar food, bright lights, loud noise and crowds) or what have you, but you know, maybe it's okay if I eat the same few foods and take joy in my niche passions. Maybe, if I listen to your angel book talks with delight, there's people who would listen to my rambles about dragons or conlangs (or dragon conlangs!) as well?

this is one reason I am pretty forward about this. I have been working to moderate how much personal info I just cavalier share on the internet but mostly I do it because it is a case of me hoping it helps others. I didn't know I was autistic for a very long time, same really with ace and such. I still am questioning much of my identity and have for years, and it took me a while to get okay with just being questioning and undefined. Autism too I was really against ME having at first, because my family is all autistic and difficult so I had a bad idea of what autism was. Now I realize I 100% am and actually I am cool, so it is cool.

So I realize how hard it is to see people at all like you and while I'm having any shimmer of spotlight inexplicably I figure I ought to be telling people you can just sort of get by having a weird self-defined life of whatever you want and it's fine. I'm 26, I'm very autistic and chronically ill, I'm ace and maybe a bit aro and just sort of an adult who is allowed to be all those things. I took a long time to realize this but you act as you want and be honestly yourself, and if you're lucky you can just find a friendgroup on similar wavelengths who will enjoy all of that stuff you do and offer

My boyfriend-partner person suggested that his name being Penny, which is supposed to be a shortened version of Penis. And can be pronounced Peenny.

I really don't think Copia is dying, but getting anti-christ form with how much stuff has been hinting at it. Also because Tobias is a huge Omen fan and Copia has, almost all the same signs as the anti-christ kid in that movie (same symbol in his stage artwork, and riding around on a red/white tricycle are big ones)

Also still Nihil's kid in my mind, even as the anti-christ. Sort of more like 'we're already having a kid, please select them' but that's also because I've got way too many thoughts on this that don't go into any canon worldbuilding but shit I made up (but it's in the tags a lil)
