"There you are."

Henry Stickmin gasped, looking up from where he had been trying to hide. He turned around, ready to throw a punch at whoever spoke to him but he froze in his spot.

The younger man stepped forward, tilting his head at the thief. "Is something wrong?" He asked, a smile hidden beneath the cloth around his mouth. His eyes were covered with a black mask, a black cloak around his body and a black hat with a wide rim and a red stripe around the top part.

Even in dark alleyway, where the boy casted no shadow unlike himself, Henry was face to face with Anino, Patron to the Devil, ruler of the Underworld. Anino, the right hand man of the Devil and the one to take dead souls back with him underground.

Henry was confused why he was here, pulling the stolen diamond closer to him. Anino saw this and shook his head with a chuckle.

“Henry, I am not here for your diamond. I am here for something else.” The boy’s youthful voice startled Henry, but so did the fact that he knew his name. Seeing his expression, the patron clarified. “All the deities are aware of who you are, Henry. Your deity has made them aware of you and your special powers. The other Patrons were told to keep a look out for you, so that we may not interfere with your choices.”

Henry looked down with a frown, his eyes catching the symbol on the back of his right hand. A four-pointed star that always reminded him of a destiny he never chose. And yet, he was given the powers to alter the timelines, see the possibilities, and finalize the choices he made. How ironic.

He was brought out of his thoughts when he heard the soul seeker shuffle and sit down next to him. He took off his right glove and pulled down the cloth covering his mouth. “I’m guessing your last choice sealed your fate, huh?”

Henry nodded, not making eye contact with the other. Anino let out a thoughtful hum before he waved his right hand over his eyes, his mask dissolving into shadow flames. Now Henry could see the bright, calm brown eyes of the boy.

“You…are so young…” Henry whispered, bringing his knees closer together.

“Eh, I don’t feel that young actually.” He said with a dry chuckle. “Still, doing this since I was ten was a big change for me. It’s been…interesting to say the least.”

The boy waved his hand over the floor and a small shadowy portal appeared. He reached in, sticking his tongue out in concentration as he reached further in before smiling. The soul seeker sat back up and pulled his right hand out to reveal-

“Cake?” Henry asked, his dull grey eyes widening. “But, why?”

“My birthday is tomorrow, but my mom made too much cake.” The teen said with a chuckle. “I’ve been trying to get rid of a decent amount, so that there is still enough left for me. And, it is your birthday today, isn’t it?”

The thief let go of one knee and reached into his work out jacket, feeling the birthday coupon he had been given at the grocery store.

“Yeah…my birthday…” He murmured, tears welling up in the corners of his eyes. He stopped when he saw the small flame of a candle, burning brightly in dark alleyway.

“Then Happy Birthday, Henry Stickmin.” Anino said with a smile. “I think you could use one of these moments once in a while, no?”

The thief stayed silent but after a moment, he looked back up and smiled at the other boy.

“Yeah…thank you…um…”

“Daniel. You can call me Daniel.”

“Daniel…Thank you.”

Happy 4th Anniversary CTM! I know this scene takes place after Stealing the Diamond technically (Anino is going to find Johnny’s soul after), but I also wanted to showcase that Daniel’s birthday is tomorrow, the same date as mine. I just figured to combine both events together, hehe.

There is not a lot I can say that I hadn’t said last year, but I just want to say thank you again to everyone in the community and fandom, for making this series as great as it is! Y’all are wonderful people!

Panprice Week 2024 Day 4!

"Angst"

TW: Mentiouns of G*n Violence and bl00d.

(This story takes place during the PBT Ending)

[Rupert's POV]

I knew it was a bad idea to put a criminal to fight against other criminals, now we were fighting the Toppats in the middle of the desert after that bastard decided to go rogue on us and steal the Romanian Ruby from them, not that I was complaining, I much rather being on the battlefield than in that helicopter.

As I was shooting some Toppats I saw someone running through the corner of my eye, I didn't recognize him at first due to all the time that had passed but when I looked more carefully there was no doubt on who it was, Dave, the very reason I even joined the military in the first place and he was right there in the middle of the battlefield, I didn't question what he was doing there and instead immediately started shooting at the Toppats that got too close to him while trying to get closer myself so I could hopefully lead him somewhere safer. However as I was approaching him I noticed someone shooting in his direction, to my surprise it wasn't a Toppat shooting at him but one of my colleagues who had probably confused him for a Toppat trying to escape the battle.

"Wait! You're making a mistake!" I shouted, but the sounds of gunshots and battle drowned my voice, when I noticed that the guy wan't going to stop anytime soon I ran towards Dave, hoping to shield him with my body instead so the bullets didn't hit him, I had been searching for him for far too long to lose him now!

But I wasn't fast enough.

The bullet hit him by the time I had finally reached him and all I could do was hold him as he fell.

"No, no dammit! Don't you dare die on me Dave..!" Those were the only words that came out of my mouth as I desperately tried to think of a way to save him, eventually I ripped a part of his uniform to try and use it as a bandage in the meantime so he didn't bleed out.

"Hold on Dave please! I already lost Johnny I can't lose you too!" I thought, seeing how much blood he was losing made me even more desperate than before so I carefully grabbed him and tried my best to get him to a medic somewhere, there had to be way to save him right? I saw some of my colleagues start to cover me while also calling out for a medic.

Eventually the medic arrived and we ended up once again travelling in a helicopter to get to a hospital to save Dave as soon as possible, I hated it but was the only way to potentially arrive in time, however having to stand idle again just forced me to think about what just happened.

"You were late to save him again." "It's all your fault, you should've watched out for him more." I tried to shove away those voice away but I just couldn't, it didn't matter how aware I was that I did what I could to help him I still believed I should've done more somehow, he was the only thing that kept me going after all...

I paced around endlessly as I waited in the hospital, not knowing whenever Dave would make it or not had me on my nerves and my thoughts weren't helping either.

"If you had made sure he checked the package that time then he wouldn't have gotten fired and gotten a job as a security guard, that way he wouldn't have gotten kidnapped by the Toppats nor would he have ended up caught in the crossfire!" I shook my head, there was no way thinking about what ifs would help me at the moment, plus if there's someone to blame for this theres only one person... Henry Stickmin, the guy that escaped that prison in the first place, stole that diamond and went rogue on us in that airship, if he didn't do any of that then Dave would've never been in the Hospital in the first place!

My thoughts were interrupted by the light sound of the door opening, I saw the doctor, the neutral expression on her face didn't help ease my concerns.

"How is he?!" I asked, my emotions making me ask it louder than I wanted to.

The doctor simply nodded and I could see a slight smile forming.

"You may go see him now."

I immediately headed inside, when I saw him sitting I could feel the relief course through my body but I still got beside him as quick as I could.

"... Rupert?" He said, his voice was a bit weak from having just recently woken up, he looked at me confused while I hugged him carefully not to hurt him on accident, seeing him there alive and well made me tear up, I hated being vulnerable like this but I couldn't help it and cried on his shoulder.

"Daveyou'reokayohmygodIwassoscaredIwouldloseyouohmygod." I felt Dave slowly and gently put his hand on my shoulder as I sobbed, I really hated the fact that he had to see me like this but his comfort made me feel a bit better about it.

"H- hey Rupert... It's okay, I- I'm here..." He tried his best to comfort me with his words and I made an effort to stop my neverending tears to look at him in the eyes.

"I missed you so much..." I whispered as to not let my tears get the best of me again.

"I missed you too." He responded with a gentle smile.

FINALLY I'M DONE geez this took a while, I'm blaming my procrastination for this/j. Originally I was planning to kill off Dave but I felt lazy kind so have this instead lol.

Revenged and Rescued (Part 4)

I did say I was probably gonna keep going today. I'm on a roll that NO ONE can stop

“This is where you’ll be sleeping,” Charles announced as he showed Henry to a medium green tent. Inside were two cots; the one on the right was surrounded by crates, the one on the left stood alone.

“I, as your rescuer, have been given the opportunity to keep an eye on you at night. So, of course, I’ve already called dibs on the cot to the right. Also, if I wake up in, like, the middle of the night, don’t worry about it. I’ve been having these weird dreams lately and they keep waking me up at night. Don’t worry, I’ve already gone to medical about it, they say it’s just something to do with my innermost fears and should go away once my brain realizes it’s not gonna fucking happen,” the pilot began to ramble as Henry approached his cot. Other than the pillow and thin blanket, his side of the tent was completely empty. No possessions to speak of nor clothes to change into.

“... and of course, Eel has already somewhat schooled me on helping keep up with your maintenance, since the rest of the tech squad’s usually busy and medical has to focus on our wounded- by the way, you don’t mind that I’m gonna have to help with that stuff, right? It’s gonna get kinda personal, since it’s your whole spine, and your chest and entire left arm and all,” Charles cut into Henry’s thoughts with the question, and he looked over at him.

“Oh? Uh, yeah, sure, I guess. I’ll have to get used to it, but it shouldn’t be a big deal,” he assured the pilot as he sat down.

“Good, good… Oh, by the way, we sent some of our guys down to your place. I hope you don’t mind, it was just to grab some clothes. And if there’s anything important there, I could ask them to run back out there. It won’t be too much trouble, since most of our pilots are just kinda hanging out right now. They also grabbed your bag from that barge in the North Sea, since it seemed really important to you.”

“My bag?! Oh my God, I completely forgot about it after… Oh, you guys are lifesavers!” Henry covered his face as he sighed in sudden relief. 

“Yeah, here, it should be in this crate,” Charles pushed a crate over, the words ‘H. Stickmin Possessions’ stamped onto it in bold letters. With a grunt, Henry pried the lid open, and sure enough, there was a black fanny pack laid carefully on top of a few stacks of clothes. He picked it up and slung it over his shoulder, slipping the bag portion effortlessly onto his back, sighing in relief.

“I’m complete now, I can die happy now that this thing is safe,” he sighed, plopping backwards onto the cot, earning a quiet laugh from Charles.

“Don’t you die on me again, we just got you back!” he giggled, grabbing Henry’s arm and pulling him back into a seated position. He sat next to him, holding up with one arm so he didn't try to fall back again. “You're stuck with me now, Henry!”

“Well, well, look at that.”

The two looked up to see General Galeforce standing in the tent entrance, watching the two with a small smile.

“Hey, General!” Charles greeted, his smile still bright as he pat Henry on the back. “Look who decided he did wanna be my friend!”

“I see. I have to admit, I'm very glad he did. How've you been holding up, Henry?”

“It was a rough start, but it's been getting easier. Charles is actually pretty great company, too, so that's been helping me feel better,” Henry admitted to the veteran.

“I've been telling him all about his upgrades, life on the base, he even got to meet my squad!” Charles told his superior excitedly.

“I see. You've always been a talker, Charlie… well, Henry, I've got someone else who wants to talk to ya.”

I'M SO MAD AT MYSELF IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE SURVIVING THE MANSION BUT I DIDN'T REALIZE UNTIL AFTER I FINISHED IT AAAGGH

...Aside from that little oopsie, though, I'm actually really proud of how the logo came out? I based the font off a style called "Micro 5 Charted". Thank goodness I was using graph paper!

I'm not sure if that Kanji is correct; Google Translate doesn't seem to like the word "oni" or "stick", especially together, so I spelled out the Romanji in the English box and then tried to copy the characters Google offered me as closely as possible. I think I'd be more surprised if I got the Kanji correct, honestly.

Henry Stickmin title screens usually have two different fonts for the verb and the noun, and I thought about trying to make "Mansion" look like an actual house, but that made my brain hurt to much to conceptualize, so I stuck with different colored fonts. Hmm, that clock sure is there. I wonder what it means gets hit by a bus

Anyway, here's some theoretical scenarios of what the main gameplay would look like! This one stars General Hubert Galeforce and some other guy:

Option 1: Shoot

Result: The monster hears you move as soon as you pull your gun from its holster. No time to defend yourself.

FAILURE (DiE!)

Option 2: Backup

Result: Your radio refuses to work, even though it was just fine before you entered the mansion. The monster waits until you've realized this, then goes for your throat.

FAILURE (No one will hear your screams...)

Option 3: Time Out

Result: The monster does not hear you and goes into a separate room, out of sight and out of mind. Galeforce survives... for now. But what was that thing...?

I don't know how feasible it would be, but I imagine this would be a cross between typical RPG Maker-styled games (pixels, speech boxes with pictures of the characters, moving around a set floor plan, puzzle solving, etc) and typical Henry Stickmin-styled game play (cutscenes, choices, possible interactivity [grabbing items/bios], the occasional quick time event, etc) (voice acting would be a stretch). Most of the gameplay, like exploring the mansion, puzzle solving, and running/fighting the monster, would be RPG style, and then occasionally switch into a cutscene that requires you to make a choice; usually with just one correct answer but possibly others that could result in diverging dialogue/interaction/paths/endings? Something to think about.

Anyway, Galeforce! Poor man has no idea what he almost walked into, haha. I experimented with perspective and limb placement here, which was exhausting but also a lot of fun! Dynamics are hard with stick figures, but considering that they're they only character medium I've ever been decent at, I made it work.

And the Oni... I tried to give it some sort of anatomy, but quickly realized that I do not have the skills to pay those bills. I opted for a more of a shadowy figure looking thing with a big smile instead (you can see some of the lines where I tried to make it have arms, I think). I opted for Ao Oni's purple-y blue color scheme verses HetaOni's gray alien look. Back in the day of fan made Ao Oni games, people would usually try to put their own unique spin on the Oni sprite, with HetaOni's being the most unique I ever saw (keep in mind, it was one of the few designs I ever saw, so there might be cooler ones out there, who knows). In theory, a game called Sutikku Oni would use a stick figure shaped monster, but with my current art skills, that would just look like a normal stick person with a big head (look! Geoffrey Plumb's cousin!). I think the less we see, the better; all good horror games know when to leave things to the imagination!

Option 1: Call for Help

Result: You call for help...

FAILURE (...but nobody came.)

Option 2: Run

Result: You tense your muscles in preparation to run. The monster is faster.

FAILURE (YoU... wOn'T... eScApE...!)

Option 3: Pretend to be a Piano

Result: Frozen with fear in front of the piano, it's all you can do to hope the monster thinks you're also a piano (a sopping wet piano, but still). It's deadly quiet. You can hardly breathe, and you're afraid to. The monster stares at you for an uncomfortably long time, before walking away, out of sight and out of mind. You stay still a little longer before collapsing to the ground. Dave Panpa survives... for now. How on Earth did that work? Or... did that thing let you live out of pity...?

UGH the piano! Pianos are so hard to draw! Luckily, I had an almost head on reference that I was able to use for the first picture. For the above view shot, I had to do some wild guessing. The red stuff near Dave's head in the second picture is the red stuff he was referring to. Is it blood? Paint? Something else? Who knows! But as we all know, any self respecting Ao Oni fan game needs a piano puzzle!

I imagine Dave was dragged along for the ride when the Toppats decided to find the treasure of the mansion (or something to that degree), fully intending to leave him there to die if there was, in fact, a monster inside. Poor Dave... Maybe there could be an ending where amends are made? Or maybe not...

I mostly put the smile on the monster's shadow as a means of showing that, indeed, it is the monster, but now I'm wondering if the monster's mouth glows or something? Hot fires of Hell, delivered right to you! Can you beat the heat?

This one is just little over 1k words domestic curtisson where they literally share a house and everything and yet they're not married?? 🤨🤨 yea I'm gonna have to call bullshit (but yea I didn't make them married in this story sorry)

ALSO I'm just as tired as them in this story rn and I'm not gonna lie I wrote parts of this fanfic half asleep so‼️‼️whoops ‼️‼️I'll proofread once I wake up cause a little after I post this I'm going to bed (at...7am HEDJHFJR)

Curtisson Week Day 4: Sleeping

Burt was sitting on the couch in the living room of he and Sven's shared house with a book in hand. He had it open, but wasn't really paying too much attention to the story. It was mostly just to pass the time as he waited for Sven to come home from work. He looked back at his watch. 9:43pm. That's around the time Sven got off, so he should be home soon.

Burt was lucky enough to be sent off of work early. Though he was kind of upset at the same time because usually he and Sven got out of work around the same time (Sven getting out about 30 minutes after him), so he never had to wait too long for him. This time, though, he was sent off three hours earlier than he usually was. He wasn't sure why, but he didn't question it. Time off work is time off work.

Though…maybe he should've offered to work the three hours anyway. Just so he'd have something to do.

Sven and Burt had moved in together fairly recently, so while all the necessary stuff were set, such as cooking supplies, a bed, a couch, dressers, etc, etc., they were still lacking some things that they were planning on getting once they had the time.

For now, though, most things involving entertainment weren't present. Aside from like, his phone and a few books. Which he was usually alright with. He was content just sitting there, drinking his morning coffee on their porch. "Like an old man." Sven would say. But it wasn't morning, nor was it really the time for you to be chilling out on your porch. Way too cold at night.

He was feeling a little tired, but he didn't want to sleep without his boyfriend in his arms, and chances are Sven felt the same way. Though, maybe doing a relaxing activity such as reading wasn't helping his case much. But eh, nothing much else to do that'll keep him distracted.

He decided that he might as well take a shower while he waited, so he set the hardcover down on the coffee table and went into their bedroom to pick out pyjamas. A loose orange shirt and pants fit nicely. He added some matching socks there too, for extra comfort.

Once he got in and out of the shower, he put his comfy pyjamas on, and went back into the living room. He sat back on the couch and tried to read the book again. It wasn't a bad story by any means, just not what he was in the mood for. Which he finally realized and decided to just scroll through his phone instead.

A few minutes later, he heard the front doorknob rattling and assumed that it was Sven. He turned off his phone, putting it on the coffee table in front of him, and looked towards the front door expectantly. He let a gentle smile appear on his face when he saw Sven walk in, closing the door behind him. “Oh, welcome back,” he said. “How was work?”

Sven moved to sit next to Burt on the couch. “It was fine,” he sighed. “How was yours?”

“The usual,” Burt replied. "Are you up for dinner?" He asked, tilting his head over at Sven.

Sven shook his head. "Too tired…can we just go straight to bed?"

Burt smiled softly at that and nodded. "Of course." He then stood up, expecting the other to follow him to their bedroom, which he did. They walked in and Burt turned on the lights so they could see better.

Sven flopped down face first on the bed, groaning as he hit the sheets, letting said sheets suppress his voice a little.

"Hey, hey, you have to at least take a shower first," Burt chuckled, gently lifting Sven up from the bed. The other grunted once more, but reluctantly agreed. He'd feel a lot more comfortable after a shower anyway. "I already took mine, so I'll just wait for you, yeah?"

Sven nodded, and waited for Burt to leave the room so he could have some privacy.

Burt patiently waited outside of their bedroom door, letting Sven finish doing his thing.

About 10 minutes later, he heard the clear. "Okay, you can come in now."

Burt opened the door and stepped back in, greeted with Sven looking much more comfortable. And adorable. "There you go. Let's get to bed, then." Ah, yes. The moment they've both been waiting for.

Burt turned out the lights and took Sven with him on the bed. He took his headphones and top hat off, putting them on top of the nightstand. Sven had taken off his own hat right after getting out of the shower so he didn't worry about it. They were both under the covers, lying next to each other. They were pretty close together already, but apparently that wasn't enough for Sven and he slid closer to Burt, before mildly gripping onto his shirt.

"Someone's clingy." He teased, leaving the other flustered. Burt couldn't help but snicker at this. His boyfriend had always been easy to tease. He never overdid it, though. Just whenever he really wanted to see his reaction. And Sven delivered every time.

Sven looked up at him, his cheeks pink from the proximity and the teasing. He stopped gripping on his shirt for a minute, instead just laying his palms on top of his chest. He kept letting his gaze wander to Burt's lips, and couldn't resist kissing him right then and there.

Burt was taken aback by the sudden kiss, but he wasn't complaining. Not at all. He closed his eyes and kissed back, letting his hand slide up into Sven's hair, twirling it around his fingers.

Sven found Burt playing in his hair to be very relaxing, and kept the kiss going for a little longer. He loved nights like these, where he could just lay down, cuddling and kissing his boyfriend after a long day of work. Without a care in the world. It felt amazing.

Unfortunately, the kiss had to come to an end eventually. Especially whenever a thing called oxygen existed. They both pulled away, letting out a soft breath as they did so.

Burt had stopped running his fingers through Sven's hair, now just resting his hand on his head. Sven buried his face into Burt's neck. "Can you…keep doing that?" He whispered into the crook of his neck.

Burt raised an eyebrow. "Doing what?" He asked.

"Combing your fingers in my hair…" he replied. "It feels nice."

Now it was Burt's turn to get flustered. Thank God Sven couldn't see the pink in his face, but perhaps he could tell anyway and he was just too sleepy to care or say anything.

"Okay…" he obliged and started to run his fingers through the others' hair again. His hair was always soft and well-kempt, making it nice to play with.

Sven relaxed even more than he already was, which was good for both him and Burt. It was nice seeing him not so tense.

Sven then placed a soft kiss on Burt's neck. Then another, and another. At first Burt tensed up from how sudden it was, but he slowly relaxed himself. Sven planted one more soft kiss onto his neck before nuzzling into it.

They both felt themselves begin to drift off. Neither of them tried to fight it. They let themselves fall into a deep sleep.

20. what is your favorite trope to write?

Brotherly angst/family angst/hurt comfort! I got really into platonic relationships and family relationships when I was in the Henry Stickmin fandom and that sort of carried over when I got into FNF. I just like making the Andromedas miserable. Make one of them miserable and the other comes to comfort him. *gasp* Or make them both miserable at the same time! I haven't done that yet! *adds to google doc of fic ideas*

44. any writing advice you want to share?

Uhh... I'm not very good at giving advice 😅 but one important thing (that many people have already said) is to know when to show and when to tell. Here I'll just be talking about this in reference to writing characters, not settings or plot.

Simple actions should be told: "Next to him, Lofie reached for her book."

If you want to describe a situation in a way that gives the reader a good mental grasp of what the situation looks like, you should show: "Agoti's heart rate picked up, palms beginning to sweat. And soon he couldn't get enough air. Why were they here? What if they saw him? A knot formed in his throat and his gaze darted towards the door at the far end of the room. Too far. His feet refused to move, like they were anchored to the ground. But he had to leave, get out of here. If they saw him... Agoti suddenly wished he hadn't let Al disappear into the crowd."

This technique is especially good for showing a character's emotions. Notice how I didn't use adjectives like panic, fear, or terror. Of course, it's perfectly fine to use adjectives! They're good descriptors! However if you really want to describe how a character is feeling, use phrases that describe what mannerisms they adopt upon feeling a given emotion.

Excitement (pos)- bouncing on one's feet, smiling uncontrollably

Anger- clenching jaw, curling fists, raising voice/lowering voice

Hurt- staring at the ground, eyes stinging, shrinking in on oneself, speaking in a whisper or mumble

These are just a few simple descriptors for each emotion. There's tons of ways to show a character in each emotion, especially depending on the kind of character they are- they might suppress their emotions more, so it's not very clear from their tone of voice and they have fewer indicators. Or they wear their heart on their sleeve, so they have a lot of physical indicators of their feelings.

For example, Psychic is very collected and reserved, so he speaks calmly when experiencing almost every emotion. He doesn't raise his voice often and when he's angry he actually becomes very quiet. He might express his emotions through subtler ways, such as narrowing his eyes, silently gripping his cup of tea tighter than usual.

Agoti is very open with his emotions, so he shows them through facial expressions and his tone of voice a lot more. If he feels hurt he'll visibly deflate and speak in a slightly defensive, angry, or even apologetic manner depending on the kind of hurt you want to portray. If he's excited he'll speak loudly and fast, with wild hand gestures.

TL;DR: It all depends on whether you're writing a simple action or a character's thoughts and emotions. The former tends to require telling while the latter requires showing. Also, depending on your character's personality you might have more or fewer physical descriptors when showing their emotions. These descriptors can also be more subtle or more obvious, again depending on the character.

Of course, none of this is set in stone and the rules can be bent depending on what you're writing.

There are good lists of ways to describe emotions through physical indicators like this on tumblr, and if you search online! Good luck and I hope this advice proves helpful!

Ellie was looking at her sick husband who was lying on his bed with a cold wet towel cooling his hot forehead, Henry Stickmin, the leader of the Midnight-Ninja clan, was doing heavy work all night, and for this he caught a very bad cold, he felt very weak and tired even without getting out of bed, he had not eaten all day since he vomited what he ate, but still had no appetite, his head hurt a lot but his whole body hurt twice as much that his head and he hadn't slept much.

The state of the sick leader worried everyone in the clan a lot, especially his wife Ellie, she wanted to go see a doctor as soon as possible, but Henry insisted that he was fine, but Ellie was very worried since he couldn't see himself. that he would recover soon.

"....ugh..." Henry let out a weak groan as he tried to sleep, but the pain in his body and head prevented him.

"Henry... Honey... maybe I should call a doctor." Ellie told her sick husband as she changed his towel for another.

"No need Ellie.... I just need to rest..." Henry said weakly to Ellie as he tried to smile.

"Are you sure?" Ellie questioned.

"Ellie... You don't need to take care of me... You should be taking care of the clan...."

"Henry, don't say that, I have to take care of you too, I don't want to see you suffer with that cold..." Ellie caressed Henry's forehead affectionately.

"But... I don't want you to catch a cold because of me..."

"Henry, I don't care if I catch a cold even if it's because of you, what matters is that both you and the clan are fine... Especially if you're fine, because I love you very much and I don't want to lose you..." Ellie said holding Henry's hand lovingly.

"Ellie..." Henry wanted to respond to what Ellie said but a wave of pain went through his entire body, forcing him to moan in pain.

Ellie tucked Henry in with the bed sheets to make him feel more comfortable, then she grabbed a thermometer and placed it in Henry's mouth, she knew that Henry wasn't going to get better that fast due to his condition, but she would do what she wanted. be to help you. After a few minutes she took the thermometer out of his mouth.

"Henry... I'm going to call a doctor..."

"Ellie I told you I'll be fine..."

"You have 48° C, you have a high fever, I must call a doctor"

"Please... Let me rest for a bit..."

Ellie sighed "Okay... But I'll call a doctor in a bit, you're very sick.. Just try to rest..."

"Alright..."

Ellie left Henry to rest even though he had a hard time sleeping due to the pain, but Henry settled down to get some sleep anyway. When Ellie left the room, four members of the clan approached her.

"Ellie how is Henry??" Charles asked concerned.

"Not good, he's 48°C, he has a high fever and his cold isn't getting better..." Ellie said nervously.

"That's terrible El-El!" Binta said worriedly.

"I hope Henry recovers soon, many of the clan are so worried that they think he is going to die." Dave said concerned.

"It's true, I've also heard those rumors" Jacob said worried.

"No... Henry is going to recover, I'm sure! He just needs to rest..." Ellie said. "It is better to tell the other members not to panic, to remain calm and not to worry about Henry, as his wife I am the second in command of the clan, I must replace Henry until he gets better." She replied.

"I hope he recovers soon..." Charles said worried about his older brother.

"If you need anything, let us know Ellie." Dave said.

"Dav-Dav is right! We are friends, and friends help each other!" Binta said.

"Heh heh... You're always so positive Binta, this is why I love you." Jacob said.

"Thanks guys..." Ellie said relieved.

Inner Demon ( Henry and co.)

A/N: Now for something different; demon possession! You guys know my oc Briar Bloodsworth, right? Well I decided to combine THSC Briar and Canon Briar into one character. Briar in this one shot or parts is a demon who has THSC Briar's personality. That is not a good combination.

Rupert grumbled upon seeing Henry talking to Charles and Ellie. He doesn't know why he's been feeling so angry lately upon seeing Henry. Well when Henry first joined the Government, he wasn't happy at all. He had protested, told Charles about his past history, and even told Charles Henry murdered his childhood best friend. However, that didn't work as Charles continued to be Henry's friend. It even got worse when Ellie joined the Government and she, Henry, and Charles became the Triple Threat.

Rupert huffed as he went to his tent, he hated feeling angry all the time. He went inside his tent, the tent was dark, Rupert gritted his teeth as he thought again on why he's so angry now, "Dammit..." he said quietly.  

He was about to turn on the light when he felt a chill coming in the tent, he shivered a little. Then he heard a voice, "You're hurting...aren't you."

Rupert's eyes widen upon hearing the voice, he looked around the tent to try to pinpoint the source of the voice. Also, he noticed the voice wasn't a regular, human voice. The voice sounded...unnatural, like it wasn't even a human...it was more... demonic sounding. "Who's there!?" Rupert exclaimed in confusion.

As if on cue, there was black and red smoke coming up from the ground. The smoke then started transforming into something, Rupert covered his eyes with his hand as the a light came into view. The light dissipated as the transformation was done, Rupert can now see that the smoke was now a person. Well it looked like a human, but they weren't. Rupert saw long, lusciously black hair, features that feminine but too feminine, red eyes, and black clothing.

If it weren't the black color scheme and the red eyes, Rupert thought he was looking at an angel. However, he saw demonic wings, a demonic tail, and demonic horns. He wasn't looking at an angel... he was looking at a demon.

"Hello, my name is Briar Bloodsworth." said the demon smoothly.

"Who the hell are you!? And what the fuck are you doing in my tent!?" Rupert bellowed at Briar.

Briar smirked at Rupert's apparent anger, "I came here because you needed my help." he replied calmly.

Rupert's golden eyes flared up with rage, "I. Don't. Need. Your. Help." he answered as he gritted his teeth.

"Oooh! A spitfire, I love that in a man." Briar thought as he silently giggled. "He reminds me of my last victim."

Rupert was staring at Briar when he felt the fire within him died out, he sighed as he slump down to the floor. Briar saw this and studied Rupert's body language just as Rupert started to think about the happier times before he went into the Government. He then felt himself choke up as tears started to brew in his eyes, "He's really in a lot of pain..." Briar thought as he raised an eyebrow.

"Sorry...just...tired." Rupert commented, his voice cracking.

Briar nodded in agreement as he went down to Rupert's eye level, he gently lifted up Rupert's chin so he can look at Rupert. "I know that you're very hurt and stressed." he said soothing.

"I was happy before she left... I was happy before he hurt me... I was happy before HE came along." Rupert growled as he emphasis the word.

"You're angry, aren't you?" Briar stated as he smiled warmly, but it didn't reach his eyes. "You're angry at your mother for abandoning you... you're angry at your father for hurting you, and you're angry at a certain Stickmin for ruining your life."

Rupert nodded solemnly as Briar's smile widen, "Don't you want to get revenge?" he questioned coldly.

Rupert stared at Briar for a moment, does he want revenge? He's above revenge and was about to decline when he felt a strange feeling occurring in him, "You will feel so much better when you get your revenge." Briar continued lowly. "Won't you?"

Rupert's eyes started changing from gold to blood red, "Yes." he replied in a monotone voice.

"Excellent." Briar said as he started to chuckle darkly, he let go of Rupert's chin as he crossed his arms. "We are going to have so much fun!" he chirped.

Henry was humming a random tune in a clearing, he was playing with the shrunken Tunisian diamond. He kept playing with it when he heard footsteps coming towards him, he then spotted a shadow over him. He looked up to find Rupert Price staring down on him, he sighed as he stood up and put the diamond in his pocket, wondering why he's talking to him. It's no secret that Rupert and Henry hate each other guts. So seeing Rupert talking to him is surprising to him.

"Okay, Rupert." Henry said in annoyance as he crossed his arms. "What do you want?"

Rupert didn't respond to his question, he kept staring at him. Henry was waiting for an answer when he noticed Rupert is acting...off, he saw Rupert's eyes weren't his usual golden color, they were now...red. Henry was about to ask again when Rupert shot forward, Rupert punched Henry. Henry was confused, but quickly punched him back. They kept punching each other until Rupert pinned Henry down to began to strangle him, Henry tried to get Rupert off from him, but he was stronger than him.

"R-Rupert... Please s-s-s-stop...s-strangulating me." Henry pleaded out as he started to show signs of asphyxiation.

Rupert didn't hear him or even care because of Briar's influence on Rupert.

Before Rupert can actually kill him, he was pulled away by two hands. Calvin and Konrad was holding Rupert back while Charles and Ellie helped Henry up. Victoria came over to the commotion, she saw Henry was coughing to get air into his lungs, his eyes were red with tears, and she noticed bruises starting to form around his neck.

"What the fuck is wrong with you, Rupert!?" Ellie bellowed at Rupert.

However, Rupert didn't listen to Ellie cause he was still influenced by Briar, Briar decided to stop his influencing for now. Briar disappeared into Rupert's mind, Rupert shook his head just as his red eyes went back to normal. "W-what?" he murmured in confusion.

"Well, Rupert!?" Ellie yelled at Rupert in disgust.

Rupert blinked at Ellie's question, he then looked around the area, and he wince upon the sight. He saw the Bukowski twins holding him, he saw Charles and Ellie comforting Henry, and he saw Henry's whole reaction. He saw Henry has bruises around his neck, his eyes red and wet, and he saw Henry looking at him with sadness. Rupert felt extremely guilty just as the General came over to the scene.

"What the hell is going here!" Galeforce demanded.

No one responded to him, Galeforce looked around the scene to determine what happened. He saw Henry's neck and his state. Then, he saw Rupert was being held by the twins. He closed his eyes as he exhaled a sharp breath, "Calvin and Konrad...bring Rupert to my office...now!" he commanded.

The twins nodded vigorously as they started bringing Rupert to the General's office, Rupert didn't protest in any way. Victoria watched the scene with worry look on her face, after the twins and Rupert were gone, she went over to Henry whom was now shaking. "Henry? Are you okay?" she asked gently.

Henry didn't answer as he hugged Charles, Charles hugged him back as Ellie whispered soft words to him. She sighed as she stared out to the exit of the clearing, she rubbed her temples as a  thought came into her mind.

Chapter 1- Escape from the Prison of the Dead

Henry always got away with trying to steal something, this time he wasn't so lucky. He was caught just trying to steal a safe in the middle of the Arizona desert!(by the way, who builds a safe in the middle of the desert??)He sat in his prison cell, watching the guards passing in front of his cell for 5 months. marking the days on the wall until he could finally get out of there and go on with his life as a thief.

in one of the precinct rooms were three long-time friends, Dave, Johnny and Rupert. the three were talking about donuts and a movie nine that was coming out next week. "I'd love to go, but I think I'd be too busy so you two can go without me!" says Johnny leaning back in his chair eating a donut,Rupert stares at him questioningly, "Okay, what are you doing next week on Opening Night of the movie ham?" Price asks raising an eyebrow, Johnny opens his mouth to speak, but nothing comes out, the same snort crossing his arms, "I just don't feel like it!" he says rolling his eyes and looking away from the other two.

Dave laughed scratching his cheek with a finger, "I think it would be nice to go just you and me Rup." he replies shyly looking down, Rupert feels his cheeks getting red before he sighs smiling and laughing, "sure! I just wanted to go with my two best friends anyway!" Dave and Johnny look at each other and smile and laugh beside Rupert. Dave gets up, "I'm going to get a coffee, would you like it?" he asks the two of them, Johnny shakes his hand in denial and Rupert nods.

Dave goes to the coffee maker, he hears the tv in the corner of the room talking about something a little worrying. "breaking news! downtown Phoenix Arizona is undergoing a quarantine, a strange infection seems to have affected part of the city. We advise everyone to stay in their homes and not leave until further notice!" Dave tries to ignore it, but the thought that downtown is going through something so terrifying is enough to frighten him.

Dave picks up his coffee cups and turns to go back to the other two but ends up accidentally bumping into another policeman. "what the fuck!! don't you know how to look where you idiot???" annoyed the cop grabs Dave by the collar of his uniform, Panpa keeps his hands up nervously, he notices some bloody bandages on his arm, the cop shakes Dave, "you will learn "you will learn not to mess with me!!" Dave closes his eyes prepared to take a punch

"oi!" Rupert pulls the guy away from Dave, he pushes him to the ground he pushes him to the ground, which he holds tightly to the bandaged arm. he grunts, gets up angrily and goes to the nearest bathroom. "what an asshole..." Rupert looks at Dave worriedly and holds out a hand, "are you ok Dave?" Dave accepts to hold Rupert's hand looking down. "don't blame yourself man, he's been acting like this since he arrived..." says Johnny looking at the door. "I-I... sorry about the coffee..." he says looking at the broken cup, "Nah, it's okay!" Rupert responds. "I really didn't want to."

Dave smiles, the two leave the room and continue walking through the police station. while Rupert is talking to another colleague, Dave finds a box in the middle of nowhere. on the box was a note saying "for Henry stickmin" Dave takes the box in his arms gently, "oi Dave!" Rupert catches Dave's eye as he turns and follows him, "Hey, I found this box here, for Henry Stickmin?" Rupert raises an eyebrow, "If I'm not mistaken, it must be that guy who tried to rob a safe! haha! come on give it to him, whatever it is." rupert puts his arm around Dave smiling heading towards the cells on the fifth floor.

while the two were leaving, a policeman hears something abnormal coming from the bathroom, a little curious he goes in to see what it was, opening the door... for the nightmare to begin...

Henry was sitting on his cell bed, uncomfortable being made of stone, he hadn't slept in months just waiting to finally be released. "Oi!" Henry looks in front of him, two policemen, Dave and Rupert were outside, "you can leave now!" Henry flashes a smile with his shoulders shrugged, but rupert laughs with a hand on his belly pointing at Henry, "haha, not really," Henry's expression changes to irritation. "You should see your face! but hey, you got a delivery! " he shoves the box through the cell's food entrance, "don't get super excited ok? we checked what we had to be sure right Dave?" rupert looks at Dave with a confident smile, Dave breaks into a nervous sweat and smiles nervously, "of-of course I checked, if I didn't check I'd lose my job, I'd lose my job!" he says scratching the back of his neck nervously.

the two move away from the cell, allowing Henri to see what was inside the box. a cake?well, apparently not, the cake opens and Henry sticks his hand inside to see what he has. he pulls out a nail saw and with a smirk he already knows how to escape.

Dave and Rupert continue talking when a scream from downstairs alerts them. "what the fuck was that???" rupert asks, already preparing his pistol in hand, Dave hears the sound of metal letting go of himself turning to see Henry outside his cell holding a metal bar in hands. "Rupert!" Price looks towards Henry already getting annoyed but then they hear another scream again, this time they hear several screams coming from downstairs, Henry stops, listening to the screams very confused.

the elevator doors open, revealing what looked like some police officers, "Hey! what's going on down there??" the cops were on the ground, but as soon as they hear rupert's voice they turn around. the police officers were in a decrepit state, their eyes lifeless almost as if they were dead, some had bites on their body parts, blood all over the uniform but mostly around the mouth. in his hands were live chunks of flesh, and on the floor at his feet... another policeman's body, cut open in the stomach with its innards sticking out. the decrepit cops were feeding off each other...

Dave covers his mouth at the sight, almost wanting to vomit at the disturbing image he saw, Henry grips the metal bar tightly in his hands feeling the cool surface. rupert points the pistol at the direction of whatever those things are. "stay away from us!!!" rupert grotto, this only makes those things if they get up and walk limping towards them, one of them runs at an absurd speed. before they got close to them Henry lunges forward, hitting the thing with the bar right over the head, splattering blood on the floor and wall.

Dave screams, falling back, tears in his eyes and covering his mouth in horror. "to the closet, NOW!!" Rupert warns pulling Dave by the arm and taking him to the closet while Henry hits the other policeman with the iron bar and punches the skull in which he makes a disgusting sound. Henry enters the closet before it's closed, his face covered in the blood of the thing he's just realized he's killed.

"WHAT WAS THE—" Dave almost screams but Henry covers his mouth as rupert continues to peer through a crack in the door. the shouting drew the attention of more of those things."Agent is going to die, I don't want to die!!" Dave was crying covering his mouth so as not to attract more attention. rupert makes a sign of silence blocking the post with his chair, "we have to think about what to do..."

Henry was standing back in a corner and he stared at the metal bar he was still holding, his hands trembling at the blood that still trickled down to two of his hands. Henry's eyes widen in terror and he throws the metal bar heavily to the ground covering his head with his hands. he starts hyperventilating one hand to his heart and the other trying to clear the blood from his face. he feels some tears of fear running down his face, in all his life he never needed to kill to get what he wanted. at least a few punches here and there, but killing was one of the things he didn't do, didn't fit his moral sense.

Dave feels sorry for Henry and tries to calm down even against Rupert's opinion. "Hey, calm down, w-we're going to get out of this ok?" he puts his hand on Henry's shoulder but the thief slaps him away with a look full of Panic. "no need to be rude to him!!" rupert defends, he looks up seeing a vent, "We can use this to get out of here!" he says pointing to the vent, "but how are we going to open it...?" the question was quickly answered by Henry himself standing up a little wobbly and picking up a screwdriver from the counter.

Rupert sees it in Henry's hand and agrees, "ok, first we have to see who's still normal, Johnny has the keys to our police car! he can help!" rupert says taking his cell phone and has trying to call Johnny. I meanwhile Henry starts to open the vent with the screwdriver without a single complication. "wow, you're good at that..."Dave complements him but Henry seems to ignore him by finishing opening the vent and removing the lid without making too much noise, a moment later he looks at the metal bar, and reluctantly he picks it up and puts it in the vent before starting to climb..

"Shit!" the call goes to voicemail, "he's not answering!" Dave and Rupert are more worried, Panpa hugs her legs in the fetal position crying very nervously. "hey! let's go for the vents! we have to go to the first floor which is where we last saw him!" Dave, who had tears spilling on the floor, agrees cleaning them and getting up with the help of his friend.

Henry offers a hand already inside the vent, rupert helps Dave to be pulled by Henry, rupert is about to enter when the three hear the door slamming and aggressive groans coming from outside. Henry panics and pulls him heavily into the vent at the exact second when the door is burst open by the creatures that can barely be considered human anymore. the three silently begin to crawl through the station's vents.

the three crawl through the vent trying not to get lost, rupert looks through the doorways seeing more of those things below them. Dave hears a voice from other police officers trying to run, slipping and screaming for help before being caught by the creatures and torn apart. Dave covers his mouth to keep from screaming in terror and follows Rupert and Henry.

after much crawling the three stop at an entrance where Henry couldn't see anything under them. he kicks the vent cover hard until it falls to the floor, he throws the bloodied metal bar to the floor making a metallic noise and damaging the floor before going down and picking it up in his hands. rupert gave before Dave to help him down who was still scared. after the three descend, rupert arumã his pistol ready for anything, Dave was very scared and can only grab a tazer with trembling hands. Henry extends an open hand above his head, glancing up and down the hallway they've fallen into to make sure they're alone.

after looking both ways in silence, he arrows his hand and points to the left where he could see a staircase. the three stay alert running towards the stairs, blood could be seen on the walls and floor. they head downstairs until they find more of those things clustered on the floor, Henry keeps the two of them away while he sticks his head out to get a better look. he could see those things consuming the guts of another dead cop, Henry covers his mouth in disgust and horror gripping the metal bar tightly in his other hand.

gritting his teeth Henry grips the metal bar tight and runs towards the creatures, "STICKMIN!!" rupert cave. one of the creatures turns towards them but Henry asks for his head with the metal bar and violently pulling out of his skull with a disgusting hole in the middle of the head the other creature tries to attack Henry but the meso dodges back and slams the slash into the thing's head hard again and again. rupert loads his weapon and shoots one of the creatures several times. the shots seemed to have no effect and Rupert panics, he fires more and more and the creature continues to run limp towards them and Dave is still hiding behind the wall crying. rupert closes his eyes shooting the creature in the head which stops running and goes to the ground motionless.

rupert iperventbtilando starts shooting more times at Panic until the bullets run out. he searches his pockets for more cargo but those were his last bullets. another creature was about to attack him but Henry saves him at the last second by driving the metal bar into the thing's chest and sending it to the ground holding the bar firmly to the ground and I get it in the head forcefully with the foot until the brains burst.both breathing heavily, rupert looks behind Henry seeing that he had killed all those things and saved him.

Henry extends his hand to Rupert who accepts to get up, "thank god you're ok!!!" Dave cries hugging tight rupert,"hey, it's ok Dave..." rupert check out his scared friend, "I'm fine..." he looks at Henry who was wiping his bloodstained face, "thanks..." Henry looks at Rupert with a blank look. "for saving me..." rupert lets go of Dave and the two continue walking.Henry looks down and then at the two of them before walking away with them.

the three finally reach the first floor. rupert goes into shock and Dave covered his mouth, the whole police station was dominated by these things...colleagues and superiors either Turned these things over or were consumed and torn apart by them. there was blood and chaos everywhere, how did this start? how does this happen?? Why did this happen??? the questions that surrounded the heads of the three stopped when they heard a familiar scream coming from another room. "STAY AWAY SON OF A BITCH!!!" the two friends look in the direction of the shout, "Johnny!!" the two say running towards where the screams came from with Henry the seconds and looking to see if they were followed. to make sure they don't get near them, Henry picks up a mug he found on the floor and throws it as far away from them as possible. the mug breaks on the wall next to a horde which runs towards the noise if moving away from the trio.

finally they arrive at the source of the screams seeing Johnny being attacked by one of the creatures, the same policeman who bumped into Dave earlier! "Johnny!!" Rupert gropes for his friend, grabbing a chair and slamming the creature hard and knocking it off him. Henry finishes the job by crushing his head with the metal bar. Johnny was hyperventilating on the floor until rupert helped him up, "thanks man..." he says with a tired look and being seated in a chair. "John what do you hear??" Dave asks already in Panic as Henry blocked the entrance with a closet with difficulty, Rupert joins in to help.

"II have no idea... I remember a colleague walking into the bathroom where he was..." he looks at the dead body. "then we heard a scream and went to see." he chuckles, "bad idea..." he responds by covering his arm on which it looked injured. "you're hurt??" Dave asks worriedly holding his friend's hand. "yes," he replies, looking away rather blankly, "after that thing ran out the bathroom door, it was a matter of seconds before it started attacking everyone..." he says in a melancholy tone. "if they bit, scratched or caused deep wounds, they quickly turned others into these things..." he points to the door where those things were outside.

"we need the car keys!" rupert responds if moving away from the barricade, Johnny takes the keys out of his pocket and throws it to him, "it's already done.." Henry gestures to the window heading towards it to see if there were more of these things out there, he could see three of them. "let's go John!" rupert tries to help him but Johnny slaps his hand, "I can't go with you..." he replies with a low head. "w-why not??" Dave asks. John sighs uncovering his injured arm and showing it to them. the three go into complete terror in shock.

he was bitten...

"I can't risk hurting you..." he replies lowering his arm and head even further. "THERE HAS TO BE A CURE!!" rupert screams, forcing himself not to let tears fall down his face. "the only way not to risk it is to leave me or..." Johnny looks at Henry's metal bar, in which rupert shakes his head in denial, grabbing Johnny's shoulders aggressively "NO!! THERE HAS TO BE ANOTHER WAY!!" he cries, not wanting to believe that he was just that way.

Johnny smiles putting his hand over Rupert's, "It's ok..." He replied looking into Rupert's eyes. "Do you know the movie?" he recalls the conversation before me in a calm and serene tone, "I said I didn't want to watch with you..." rupert doesn't understand why he mentions this. "I just wish you had some time to spend with the person you really love..." he looks at Dave who was opening the window carefully, Rupert finally got it, he wanted him and Dave to have a moment to themselves, Johnny was always the third wheel and always wanted to see the two of them together soon.

Rupert can't help it, tears start to fall down his face. he hugs Johnny tight, "I'll miss you brother..." he says crying, Johnny hugs him back holding back tears. "my father called me, he said the government would be downtown looking for survivors and resources..." he lets go of Rupert, "if you see him... tell him I love him... that he's a better father of the world..." he smiles weakly holding up a picture of him and his father from the day he joined the police academy. Henry looks at him as he approaches, "come on... get it over with!!" he closes his eyes, waiting for Henry to kill him.

Henry glares at him, lifting the metal bar to face him and staring at the photo.

Henry lowers the metal bar, putting his hand on Rupert's shoulder and heading to the window where he breaks it to pieces with the metal bar and exits through it towards the creatures outside. Johnny looks at him confused and laughs weakly, "What an idiot..." his eyes were almost dead... rupert couldn't look at his friend anymore and if he walks to the window, "goodbye friend..." he wipes his tears and helps Dave out and leaves together giving Johnny one last look in which he gives one last smile...

Rupert leaves the window and makes his way to the parking lot pressing the car keys button in which they hear his signal the three of them drive away with Henry removing the metal bar from the head of a creature he has just killed. the three of them get in as fast as possible, with no time to buckle up and just follow the road ahead of them with Rupert at the wheel.

Dave looks back at the police station one last time and then closes the car window. the three survived...

the only ones who managed to escape that hell alive. each with a new trauma in their lives.

rupert has just lost someone he considered a brother, he didn't even know what he would say to his father when he saw him. Henry felt the rush of killing, even if it was for his survival, he was no longer in the best state of mind, it would only get worse... and Dave... never seen death or tragedy so close, he was very sensitive, he was crying with his head against the car window, Rupert looked at him worriedly.

now they would have to trust each other in this nightmare... in this world of dread and fear...

In this new world with no second chances...

Scenario: The Government and the Toppats are at War, both organisations are at the brink of collapse but they're not giving up. Then Henry Stickmin arrives who is not a Toppat and recently fled from the Government, and (evil)Galeforce is beaming, having noticed Henry holding his Magic crystal.

"I realize that you've always been an outcast," Galeforce stated with a confident, steady tone despite his obvious injuries as he walks towards Henry, who is eyeing everyone suspiciously. "It's not everyone at the Government who likes to think," Galeforce suddenly stepped closer and smiled wryly, "To find a Solider that's like you, I've had one or maybe two," Another step, "But the good ones disappear before I blink" Galeforce turned his head and glared hatefully at an injured Charles, who had also tried to flee from the Government.

Henry took a step back, not fearful and confused. Galeforce counters his step by approaching again. "Now I understand you have your reservations," He said referring to Henry's past and suddenly pulling out his file from a bag. "It's hard to have a brain as large as yours," Galeforce opened the file, revealing Photo's of Henry's past successful heists that he pulled off alone...

"But if we don't win this war..." He pointed to an injured Reginald Copperbottom who was sitting alone a few feet away, dead or injured Toppats around him. The only thing stopping anyone from doing anything was Right, who was pointing a gun right at Galeforce. "Well, I think I've made it plain," He said, looking back at Henry, "What will happen if we have the losing scores!" He suddenly pulled out his gun and pointed it straight at Charles, cold gun tip pressing against sweating skin. Charles paled and Henry paused.

"Unleash the magic~" Soldiers suddenly sang sickly, staring at Henry with evil gazes and wide smiles, "Unleash the magic~" They sang again, stepping closer like hungry Wolves', Henry began to sweat. "If we lose then you're to blame." Another step, "They all have used it" All the Soldiers pointed to Reginald and the other remains alive Toppats before looking back at Henry, "Maybe abused it..." one final step and then they shouted, "So then why can't we do the same?!"

"Call it power, call it magic, If we lose, it will be tragic!" Galeforce spoke afterwards, glaring and smiling evil at Henry's conflicted face. "More important is the things we have lost!" He gestured to his surroundings, burning Government buildings, vehicles, stands... "A chance like this won't come again..." He aggressively pressed the gun more to Charles' temple, to put emphasis to his point and how desperate they were. "You'll regret not giving in! Isn't conquering the Toppats worth the cost?!"

"Unleash the magic~" The Soldiers started again, closing in, "Unleash the magic~" Eyes swarmed Henry's surroundings, he quivered under their judging gaze, Henry couldn't take his eyes off Charles, who stared right back, scared. "We're not friends here after all!" The Soldiers gestured to their guns. "Our only interest, In this business..." Their smiles dropped as they yelled,

"Is seeing the Toppat Clan fall!"

The Soldiers stepped back a little as Galeforce fully approached Henry, getting into his personal space, gun still trained on Charles' Head. "What I'm suggesting's very simple..." He glared, staring right into Henry's eyes, "And since it's win-win on all scores..." He raised his free hand, "Let everyone to learn," and gripped the hand Henry was using to grip his Crystal, "About the Magic that you have stored !"

Henry's ripped his hand away and stumbled back, out of the stifling group. However, they only approached once more, Galeforce leading them. "And as for me and all the others," Galeforce smirked, "We only want what we deserve!" He shouted, referring to the Pardoned letter in his hand. "That our Organisation will clinch the win," He gripped the paper, it crumpled slightly, "And my legacy will endure!" He suddenly threw the paper down and stomped on it.

"Unleash the magic!" They were circling him, "Unleash the magic!" He couldn't escape!, "If we lose, then it's a crime!" Henry felt tears well in his eyes, "But we can win it, If you begin it!" Henry looked down at his crystal, it glowed powerfully... "It's up to you to not fail this time!"

"Unleash the magic, free the magic now!" "Unleash the magic, free the magic now!"

Henry gripped his crystal, "Imagine all I'll learn by setting it free..." He spoke quietly. "Now winning this war depends on me!" He looked up at Charles, Galefore smirked. "And the doors might open if I try to use it..." He hoped, if he did this... would everything go back to normal? "But the magic's really what you want to see!" Henry gripped the Crystal as hard as he could, closing his eyes as blue mist coated him.

"HENRY NO!" Charles cried but was hit by Galeforce and fell to the ground, he watched with horror as Henry was raised in the air, the magic spilling out of the crystal. Reginald and the remaining Toppats could only watch in horror.

"Unleash the magic, free the magic!" "NOOO!" "Now!"

Henry cried out in pain, eyes flying open as magic took hold of him.

(Ooo, what will happen to The Toppats... What will happen to Henry? What will he become? You continue the story.)

Blue magic crackled across the sky as storm clouds swirled around the battlefield. Galeforce and the other soldiers seemed smug of themselves at first, Charles using the distraction to slip over to where Reginald was.

Henry's eyes opened and were glowing a bright blue as he let out a unnatural cackle. "I feel the magic overwhelming me, I see worlds upon worlds filled with magic. And I must have more!"

Portals opened everywhere, magic pouring out of each one as the battlefield shook and crumbled around the Toppats and Government. Galeforce's smugness turned into genuine horror, this wasn't the outcome to his plan at all.

Charles helped Reginald up as he yelled at Henry "Henry! Please snap out of it!" causing Henry to turn to Charles and Reginald and for a moment, the eerie blue glow from his eyes disappeared, tears falling from his face.

Right handed Charles his gun as he took several steps forward, a glowing red aura forming around him.

Henry's eyes kept flickering between glowing and not, the storm intensifying as Henry held his head. Right just kept walking and soon enveloped the small area Henry and himself was in a blinding light.

Henry only saw brightness and Right, stumbling backwards like a confused and frightened animal.

"Henry, I know this is terrifying, but I can help ya. Just take my hand."

Henry found himself shaking "I'm... I'm a monster. I'm no... no better then Galeforce himself!"

Right just shook his head as he outstretched his hand "Ya ain't nothing like that old man. I've been in your shoes once, I know what is like to lose yourself in the power of magic. And I can help ya out, all ya need to do is take my hand."

Henry hesitated at first, still scared of everything going on. But slowly he took Right's hand, the magic crackling over him dissipating as the bright light faded, the storm and portals disappearing as the battlefield returned to normal.

Reginald and Charles couldn't see anything at first, but eventually saw Right and Henry slowly walking towards them, Henry leaning on Right for support as the two came closer.

Reginald and Charles let out a sigh of relief as Henry slowly signed "I am so sorry."

Charles just replied "It's going to be ok, Henry. I am just glad you are ok."

Reginald just chuckled as he added on "If I had a nickel for everytime someone I knew lost control of themselves to magic, I would have two nickels, which isn't really alot but I hope not to run into a third time."

Henry and Right found themselves looking away embarrassed as the Toppat Airship landed nearby, Toppats pouring out to help out the injured.

Charles, Reginald, Henry and Right made their way to the Airship, the Government having retreated like cowards from Henry losing control of the magic he was forced to use because of them.

It would be awhile before things got back to normal, but Henry saw that he had new friends alongside Charles that would help the healing process of everything.

He gets the job done. (Imposter Henry au)

*Warning, graphic description of violence/gore!*

[Also for those who are unfamiliar, I made an au that's a mix between Among Us and Henry Stickmin. In this AU, Imposters can be humans or aliens. Right Hand Man is a human imposter (black suit), and Henry is an alien imposter (blue suit). This takes place in the shield map]

Right entered the dark electrical room and opened the vent in the corner, but before he could crawl in, he heard a gasp behind him. His head snapped to look at who caught him. Only to see a brown blur bolt away from him. Winston Davis. Right ran as fast as he could, he had to stop that crewmate from getting to the emergency meeting button. The crewmate went to the right. He didn't have much time, not to mention he also didn't have any bullets. Just as Right ran past the lower engine, Winston still in his sights, he saw someone else appear from the reactor room. Someone in dark blue. Henry. Who's attention was focused on the fearful crewmate.

Before Right could call out to his fellow imposter, Henry bolted after Winston. He ran unreasonably fast. And his footsteps were so loud they echoed. Right wasn't sure if it was because Henry was really heavy or if his feet just hit the ground with tons of force. Before Winston could even round the corner, Henry had caught up to him, tackling him to the ground. Winston screamed in terror. Struggling in vain to free himself from Henry's grip. "S-stop! Let me go! SOMEONE PLEASE HEL-" Right watched as Henry opened his mouth and launched his alien tongue through Winston's head. The man's cry for help was interrupted by the horrific sound of his skull cracking. Blood splatters covered Henry's face. Right felt a little shaken at the sight, but he only felt worse when he saw what Henry did next.

Henry used his hands, tongue, and teeth to break apart Winston's body, eating away at it like a savage animal. Right went from feeling a little disturbed to outright sick. He could hear everything. The bones breaking.. The muscles tearing.. Right knew Henry was an alien, but he never expected this to be what he was working with. Henry lifted his shirt up a bit. It was then Right noticed that Henry had a second mouth on his torso. It, too, had a long tongue that he used to devour the mangled body. If Right had walked in on this instead of being there from the beginning, he wouldn't be able to even recognize who that once had been. A few more minutes passed, and just like that, Winston was gone. There was nothing left behind other than the Blood stained pieces of brown cloth that once resembled a space suit. Henry picked up the torn articles of clothing and tossed them into a nearby vent. He glanced at Right. Right couldn't read his expression. What did he want now? Then he smiled, and walked towards Right. Right found himself backing away without thinking. Until he bumped into the guard rails in front of the upper engine. He clasped the metal. What was he supposed to do? It was clear that he couldn't outrun Henry, and he had no bullets. Was this it? Was he going to meet the same fate as Wilson? Starring Henry down, did his best to keep his face stern. Being afraid wasn't going to help him now. He braced himself for an attack.

But nothing happened. 

Henry's shoulders bobbed, in a motion that seemed like… laughter? It looked like he was laughing but no sound came from him. Henry waved at Right, as if saying 'see you later'. Then he turned around and left. He walked calmly away like he was just grabbing a coffee or doing something else just as mundane. That's why he was never caught. There was no evidence to find and his behavior seemed so...normal...

Right took a few deep breaths, he tried his best to calm down. He hasn't been THAT scared in quite a while. He wasn't easily rattled, but that was just too much. Even for him. He took another deep breath. Then he made his way to the cafeteria. Maybe visiting Reginald would help him feel better…

🔺 Alterrune (TOPPAT) - One of the first recruits Henry and Ellie grabbed due to his combat prowess. His real name is Kyle Cross, but he hasn't revealed that to anyone else in the clan (other than his fellow higher-ups), and he doesn't intend on telling them anytime soon. The clan knows that he's still a force to be reckoned with, though.

💜 Violet Wolfsbane (SOLO/TOPPAT) - A former member of the CCC, and a cousin of Alter. Wields a heavy-duty sword named "Leadhead" that can cut through any material, and it also has electrical-based powers that allow her sword to absorb any electrical energy and empower her abilities even further...but she tends to hide these abilities from anyone who hasn't earned her trust yet.

🔵 Henry Stickmin (TOPPAT) - The current leader of the Toppat Clan. He's already completed his own mission, thank you very much, but he's still more than willing to help Alter complete his mission.

💕 Ellie Rose (TOPPAT) - Henry's Right Hand Lady. She's been married to Henry for about a year since the station launched, and although she hasn't been fighting alonside Henry like she used to since then, she still knows how to whack someone hard with a road sign.

✍🏼 IRL!Alterrune (N/A) - Kyle Gibbons, the Canadian-born creator of both the Altering the Outcome askblog and its' story, has finally joined the game himself! He has no ties to any of the major factions, as he is normally behind the computer monitor, not on it. He's still a force to be reckoned with, though, no matter which side of the monitor he's on.

🎩 Reginald Copperbottom (TOPPAT) - The previous leader of the Toppats. He once considered betraying Henry, but after Henry put himself on the line to save the Toppat Clan, he now knows the clan is in good hands with him.

🛠 Right Hand Man Reborn (TOPPAT) - After getting beat up by Henry in the Airship, he gained some new enhancements, and powerful ones at that. He's helped Reginald and Alter make some quick escapes.

🐁 Carol Cross (TOPPAT) - Alterrune's fashionable green and black-clad mother. She's one woman that you don't wanna cross, which many of the Toppats have learnt the hard way. She also has her own personal army of white mice at her disposal, which have proven to be advantageous to both her and her fellow clan members.

🛡 Clarence Cross (TOPPAT) - Alter's deceased father. He was captured by the Wall and killed by Dmitri when Alter was a kid, but has now, after 13 years, come back to the family as a ghost. When he was still alive, he was a loving and caring father to Alter, and he always had a genuine smile on his face, taking care of Alter whenever Carol couldn't. Now a ghost, he's back to doing all those things, now with ghostly abilites atop that.

🥼 Dr. Vinschpinsilstien (TOPPAT) - After losing her boat to the government, Henry and Ellie offered her a job as the Toppat's lead medic, which she gladly took. She knows how to quickly and thouroughly treat every wound the Toppats may come across. Most of the Toppats call her "Dr. V", as her full last name is incredibly hard to pronounce and spell.

🚁 Charles Calvin (GOV'T) - The government's top pilot, and one of Galeforce's best recruits. He has a bit of a personal vendetta against the Toppats for taking Henry, and can be a bit hyperactive at times, but he can still hold his own in a fight.

🏅General Galeforce (GOV'T) - Even though the Toppat raid backfired hilariously, his discovery of the Alter Rune didn't, which led to a massive promotion. He's a gentle giant, but mess with him and you'll be scrubbing his entire quarters with only a toothbrush.

🎖 Commander Galeforce (GOV'T) - After the Alter Rune raid backfired, he was discharged honorably from the army. One of his higher-ups managed to land him a spot as one of the head commanders of the FBI, and now is known as Commander Galeforce. He doesn't mind still being called General, though.

❄️ Dmitri Johannes Petrov (WALL) - Henry ruined his reputation and caused him to take a stop sign to the face, causing him to talk with a lisp now. He'll take out anybody who tries to get in the way of him killing Henry, and without any hesitation.

🌨 Dmitri Johannes Petrov Reborn (WALL) - After being shot back in the temple, the Wall staff was able to revive him and give him some cybernetic upgrades similar to RHM's. He now has a personal vendetta against both Henry and Alter.

💪🏼 Grigori Olyat (WALL) - His arms were in casts for weeks after he got hit by one of The Wall's own trucks, but he eventually healed up, despite how slow that process was. He and Dmitri have planned to kill Stickmin for a very long time...

🦾 Grigori Olyat Reborn (WALL) - Even though he took a more fatal bullet than Dmitri did back in the temple, Dmitri was able to revive his most trusted aide, at the cost of Grigori's head being the only non-robotic part of his body left. Now with a robotic body with a ton of functions, he's just as dangerous as Dmitri is.

🪃 Samuel Mundy (SOLO) - He's been contracted for the police and government before, but has been off-duty ever since the Toppats went into orbit. That doesn't mean he's no longer using his Sniper Rifle, though, he's still got a few headshots left in him.

⛓ Dave Panpa (TOPPAT) - He was locked in the Toppat's brig for two years until he decided to join the Toppat Clan to free himself. He's never been more proud of that choice.

🔫 Rupert Price (TOPPAT) - After being reunited with his old partner, Dave, he officially quit the government and joined him in the Toppat Clan. He's never actually liked the government, to be honest.

💟 Jacob Wolfsbane (SOLO) - Violet's incredibly shy brother. While he's grown as a person with the help of his older sister, he still has his moments of cowardice. Violet and the rest of the team always help him overcome those obstacles, though.

🦼 Drake Wolfsbane (SOLO) - Violet's father. He's been wheelchair-bound for his entire life, having no feeling in his legs at all. That didn't stop him from becoming a botanist and teaching a young Violet all his tips and tricks.

🌂 Clair Cross (SOLO) - Carol's sister, and Violet's mother. Personality-wise, she's the opposite of Carol. She's a very gentle woman, and only goes on the offense to protect her family.

🔷 Nicholas Cross (TOPPAT) - Alterrune's navy blue-clad older brother, codename "Zinger". He's a gentle giant, but mess with him or his brothers and you'll wish you were never born.

🟡 Justin Cross (TOPPAT) - Alterrune's mustard yellow-clad younger brother, codename "Atlas". He's quite hyper for being a year younger than Alter is, and tends to be unpredictable (which works in his favor during battles with the Toppat clan)!

💞 Jacob Rose (TOPPAT) - Ellie's brother, whom unfortunately lost his life from one of the enemy factions planting a bomb near him. Despite resurfacing as a ghost, he's still got his snarky yet sincere personality he had when he was alive.

😈 Terence Suave (TOPPAT) - The Toppat Clan's leader before Reginald came in. He is hated across the board, he always did things for his own selfish gain, never listening to anyone in the Clan who objected to him.

🚜 Texas Jack (SOLO) - The Texan owner and bartender of the tavern just down the road from the Wall. His real name is Jackson Cooper, and he considers trading the heat of Texas for the Russian blizzards to be the best decision he ever made for his buisiness, as he and his tavern are more popular here than they ever were back home.

💉 Corporal Earl Grey (GEOGRAM) - The head soldier of the GEOGRAM army, and the overseer of all the tests that GEOGRAM runs on the ColorStreak Battalion's beast forms. He always carries a thermos of chilled earl grey tea on him to stay hydrated.

🔥 Laurence Burnway (GEOGRAM) - A man who has suffered a lot, but he has finally turned his life around (with help from Kyle, of course) and finally feels at home.

🎀 Kynn Lee/Lily Burnway (GEOGRAM) - The younger sister of Laurence Burnway and daughter of Aaron Schaffer, Lily died after being accidentally shot by Laurence, but through Hack!Anon's help, Lily was brought back as Kynn Lee. Now Laurence, Lily, and Aaron are finally back together again as a family, and Lily is the head ass-kicker of it.

🧀 Fredrick Muenster (TOPPAT) - The only Toppat who has a top hat made of edible material. He does enjoy having a snack available on his head at any time, but lately, he's been having trouble keeping his cheesy hats fresh.

👩🏻‍🎤 Matilda Ivy (TOPPAT) - An irish Toppat member with a crazy pink hairdo that everyone agrees is the best out of the whole clan. She's been known to get drunk off of Irish whiskey, which normally leads to someone getting stabbed with a broken bottle.

🧹 The Witch (TOPPAT) - The Toppat's original herbalist, and currently learning new ways to use herbal materials from Violet Wolfsbane. She's one of the only members of the clan who wears a hat other than the standard top hat.

💎 Gene Fredrickson (TOPPAT) - Originally a mayoral figure, he was found to have committed voter fraud shortly after Henry stole the Tunisian Diamond. He's had to grow accustomed to working with Henry, though it's still awkward for both parties.

🚂 Mr. MacBeth (TOPPAT) - The man in charge of the Toppat Clan's cargo train operations. He loves his job, and hates being seperated from being on the rails. He's gotten used to being compared to an ape since the station launched.

💸 Stu Pendles (TOPPAT) - An unfortunate higher-up who still hasn't paid a debt he owes Carol Cross yet. It's not like he isn't trying, he simply doesn't have an easy way of getting the money!

🛰 Burt Curtis (TOPPAT) - The Toppat Clan Orbital Station's overseer. He always wears a pair of orange headphones with his top hat for easy message relaying. He's not the biggest fan of his job (it can get pretty monotonous at times), but the Toppat Clan pays nice, so he doesn't mind doing it.

The Worst Thing I've Ever Drawn

I had the pleasure of watching the 1985 live action movie adaptation of Clue a week ago for the first time in a while. It's easily one of my favorite movies, combing over the top slapstick with genuinely fun wordplay and a touch of improve. The setting is great, the characters are fun, and it's just a fun old time when I get to sit down and watch it with the fam.

You're probably wondering what the movie Clue has to do with the title of this post (especially considering the generally abysmal quality of the "drawings" I post). Well, there's a particular character in the movie, Wadsworth the Butler, who is absolutely the star of the show (in a show fully of characters with their shining moments). He's clever, funny, but most importantly, he's very physically distinct, which is to be expected from the actor who portrays him: Tim Curry.

I, personally, put this acting gig way up on my reasons for liking him as an actor, as well as the fact that he did the audio books for most of Lemony Snicket's "A Series of Unfortunate Events" books (the few exceptions were always to let the author himself do some reading, which I also appreciated).

So yeah, I think Tim Curry is pretty cool. But as I was watching the movie the other week, I realized something that I couldn't get out of my head, and I had to act on it.

When I imagined these images in my head, I was thinking more of screenshots of certain scenes that I'd then draw over a little bit, like drawing a mustache on a character's face, for example. Unfortunately, I don't have access to technology like that (or if I do, I don't know how to use it), so I had to go about a different way: by taking pictures of the scenes with my phone, then tracing over them and adding the mustache-type details as I went. This is very inefficient and, again, I'm not the best artist in the world, but I worked hard on these, and I think they're pretty funny, so I'll share them with you now.

In the event of The Henry Stickmin Collection by Puffballs United becoming a live action movie (entirely theoretical), I present my personal choice of casting:
