Ok, it's driving me nuts. I Literally just discovered you, but it is amazing. Like, just, everything, all the gifs and text posts of Delicious Delicious Whomp with some of my favorite characters, it's amazing, and it is a Crime that I didn't discover you sooner. But. Okay so both my icon and my header are from the show Graceland. The dude on the bed (and in my icon) is Mike Warren played by Aaron Tveit (stick around or take a look at my archive and you'll see i'm slightly obsessed with aaron tveit lol). Chapter 8: Times Square

He waited for me to let go, so he knew I was okay. And after a moment I did.

"Sorry Aaron, I know this was supposed to be a date and now I'm all crying and talking about my ex."

"A date? Who said something about this being a date?" He said shocked and blushing.

"Uhmm you did when you messaged me." I also blushed.

"Ohh uhh.. it's okay Sophie. I'm happy you feel safe enough with me to talk about your past."

Aaron knew he wanted this to be a date, but he didn't want to push Sophie into things so he basicly ignored the fact that she knew he said it.

Sophie was okay with it, because she didn't want for things to go too fast.

"So Aaron, enough about me. Tell me about you."

"Well I'm on Broadway in a show called Moulin Rouge and I have a dog named Miles." He started.

"I know that already Tveit, tell me something else."

Aaron started laughing about how insisted Sophie was.

"I grew up in Middletown a small place an hour away from the city. I lived with my mom, dad and my brother John. I love them very much. And as it is for studying. I went to Ithaca, but didn't finish school because I got cast in the national tour of Rent. And from that moment on my life was in the theatre. I also did a few movies and television series."

The only thing I could do while listening to him was admiring how passionate he was. And how he looked even more handsome talking about his life.

Minutes passed by while talking to each other.

"Do you want to get another coffee? Or we could go somewhere else if you want to." Aaron suggested.

"Don't you have anything else to do today? You have a show tonight." I said.

"I have time, I have to be at the theatre 1,5 hour or so before the show."

"And you are not getting bored of me yet?" I asked.

"I will never get bored of you!" Aaron said, cheeks turning red.

"Well then maybe we can get another coffee and just take a walk through the city?"

"Perfect! Do you want the same thing as before?"

"I want an iced brown sugar shaken espresso if that's not too much to ask. I only drink the Macchiatto in the morning. Later in the day I like this one." I said nervous.

"No problem Sophie, I will get it for you."

Aaron walked away to order our to go coffee and I walked outside, waiting for him there.

I decided to text Melissa, because I hadn't spoken to her in a while.

Sophie:

Hey Lis, how are you? I miss you!

Melissa:

Soph! I miss you too. What are you doing right now? Have you seen Aaron already?

Sophie:

We actually got coffee this morning and now we are going to walk around town. Just hang out for a bit. I like it when I'm around him Lis!

Melissa:

Omg!! That's great! Enjoy the rest of your day and fill me in later. I want to hear everything!

I smiled at Melissa's message. And just at that moment Aaron walked outside with our coffee's.

"What are you all smiling about?" He asked with a smirk.

"Oh nothing, just realising it's a good day today." I said.

"I agree, this is one of the best mornings I've had in a long time." He said.

He handed me my coffee and we just walked through the city. The weather was just beautiful. It was warm, but not too hot.

We walked to Times Square. There was a big billboard with him and Ashley Loren. I loved Times Square and the billboard. Aaron noticed.

"Shall I take a picture of you? Here on Times Square with all the billboards. You can post it on your Instagram." He said.

I handed him my phone. He took it and it looked like he struggled with it.

"Is everything ok? Can you handle my phone?" I asked laughing. He blushed and then asked me to take a pose.

He took my pictures. Not just one but a few.

"So now you have a lot to choose from." He said.

I wanted to take my phone out of his hands, but he wouldn't give it back to me.

"Can I get my phone back mr. Tveit?" I asked teasing.

"You can have it back, but first you have to take a picture with me." He teased back.

I did as he said. I stood next to him. He wrapped an arm around my waist and we took a few pictures together.

When we both wanted to let go, we almost kissed. We were so close together during that picture.

We were both looking a bit awkward after it.

"Uhm just make sure you send me those ok?" He aksed breaking the awkward moment.

"I will, but I don't know if Instagram is the right place to send them."

"You don't have to send them on Instagram. You can send them another way, just look through your phone when you're home." He said all mysterious.

I looked at him for answers, but he didn't give them to me.

"Do you want to walk past the theatre?" He asked.

"Yeah sure, that sounds nice!"

As we were already on Times Square, the theatre was not that far away. When we arrived Aaron stood under the pillar with his picture on it.

"Sophie, can you take a picture of me and my twin brother?" He asked jokingly.

I laughed and took my phone out. I snapped a few pictures of him being silly with the pillar.

"I will also send those to you." I said.

He laughed and looked at me.

"Hey Sophie, will you do me a pleasure and see the show tonight?"

"Well Aaron, I would love to, but since you're in the show a ticket would cost me a fortune and I don't have that kind of money right now." I said a little embarresed.

"No no no, you don't have to pay for it! You'll get the ticket from me silly."

"Aaron I'm not a charity case. You already paid for my coffee twice and now this."

"Soph I'll get you in the audience tonight, please say yes. I really want you there!"

He called me by my nickname how could I refuse now?

"Ok Aaron, I will be there. Just tell me when and where I have to be."

"Can you meet me here at 5?" He asked.

"5? But the show starts at 7 and you don't have to be here at least 1,5 hour before the show."

"I know, but I have a surprise for you. Please meet me at 5 here in front of stagedoor?"

"Ok I'll be here at 5"

thank you oooooooh what a QUESTION omg �� well, for sweeney i'd have to cast my tony award-winning parasocial bestie, Patrick Wilson. idk how he'd do with the accent but let's assume he'd kill it like everything else (i did consider hugh jackman but idk he's too nice). and for mrs lovett, none other than hannah waddingham!! she'd be perfect. as for judge turpin, let's go with jeremy irons because no one does evil like him and i think it would be funny if the only person who can't sing is the villain, johanna should be carrie hope fletcher (because i love her and i'd actually root for johanna to live lmao), and Anthony can be aaron tveit because i am nothing if not a les mis tumblrina at heart!! also, in this version of sweeny todd aka my version, mrs lovett kills sweeney in the end instead because i hate the film's ending so much.

i totally forgot about it until just now but theres a movie about an amateur baseball team with really goofy players half-assing the game but also trying to win and its not a great production or anything but it actually has a somewhat high profile cast (tyler hoechlin, chace crawford, manny montana, aaron tveit) and the team dynamics are exactly what i imagine the take me out team to be like 😁 if you're ever bored with absolutely nothing to watch i'd recommend x

The way I started lauging when I read Tyler Hoechlin and Chace Crawford (I don't know who the other two are). Are you telling me that the cringiest wolf boy and the most boring dude from gossip girl made a movie together? I absolutely laughed at the idea for a solid minute and then googled it. It probably won't be as funny as I was imagining but now I need to watch this thank you.

“The ABC Café”/“Red and Black” and “Do You Hear the People Sing?”, Broadway, February, 2007. Drew Sarich as Enjolras, Adam Jacobs as Marius, unknown Grantaire, Jacob Levine as Gavroche, Celia Keenan-Bolger as Éponine.

This is the video that inspired the “OMGjolras” portion of the hilarious and insightful comic Enjolras’s Singing Brethren. Drew Sarich’s ecstatic hand-to-mouth excitement as he realizes that Lamarque’s death is “the sign we await” is a moment he’ll probably never live down among Les Mis fans, despite his excellent later performances as Valjean. His Enjolras certainly isn’t Hugo’s dignified cherubim: there’s definitely a strong element of both the schoolboy and the crazed fanatic in his performance. Not just in the “OMG, I can haz revolooshun!” reaction to the news of Lamarque’s death, but in his constant dramatic hand gestures, in his tone on “Marius, you’re no longer a child!” that slightly resembles a petulant teenage valley girl, and in his growling voice on “Let us take to the streets...” and fierce expression throughout the first verse of DYHTPS. But maybe a characterization like this is valid for the musical (not preferable, but valid), and since Drew’s sharp edged rock-opera voice (undeniably a fantastic voice) is so different from a traditional Enjolras sound, maybe it’s only fitting that his characterization should be different too. I’ll admit, though, I wouldn’t follow this Enjolras to the barricade as easily as I’d follow Ramin Karimloo or Aaron Tveit.

Adam’s Marius is excellent as always: so boyish, earnest and passionate. The Grantaire understudy, whose name I don’t know, is also a natural-born scene stealer with his funny, boisterous antics. All the Amis and are excellent too, both vocally and in their acting. Their subtle, subdued mourning at the news of Lamarque’s death, with Feuilly rubbing his forehead as if overwhelmed, Combeferre taking off his glasses to wipe tears from his eyes, and Bossuet (I’m not if it’s really him, but I’m pretending it is because he’s balding) promptly needing a drink, throws the very different reaction of Drew’s Enjolras into even starker relief.

Leave it to Celia Keenan-Bolger to make Éponine’s brief, silent appearance interesting, as she eagerly runs to Grantaire to inquire after Marius and stares as he goes to get him, but then quickly turns around and casually kicks a stone in the road, not letting Marius see that she’s waiting for him with bated breath.

Overall, an excellent performance, with a justly controversial but definitely not boring Enjolras at its center.

Les Miserables

How I first got into it:

I first saw the musical when I was pretty young.  Like... I’m pretty sure I saw Colm Wilkinson as Valjean on Broadway.  I saw it again with French Club in 7th grade and again when my sister had an exchange student from France. This was all during the initial Broadway run.  I remember liking it but not LIKING it.  There was too much time spent on the Cosette x Marius romance, I thought, and that bored me to tears (don’t know if that was because I was just too young or because I was a bb aro/ace in the making, but either way, they could have cut that whole subplot and I wouldn’t have missed it).  Cue 25 years later when the 2012 movie came out... and I was GONE.  I don’t know why, and there was actually a several month lag between the movie and when I properly got into the fandom, but THAT WAS ALL SHE WROTE AND I NEVER LOOKED BACK.  XD

And this got very, VERY long, so the rest is going under a cut.  ;D

hiii i just saw your answer for the musical theatre whumpees and first of all, I want to say, that you have great taste, those are some of the most chef kiss characters on Broadway. I also couldn't help but notice that many of these were played by derek klena at some point in time (hell he is the OG Dmitry) so I thought you might be interested in knowing that he played in 7 episodes of a TV show called The Code (Aaron was there too for a bit) and his character really goes through it. He's not a big part of the show, but lots of whump. ;)

Well thank you! Omg yes several have been played by Derek Klena. And I love Derek Klena. He plays such great whumpable characters. And yes!! I did know he was n that! But only because I started watching for Phillipa Soo and Aaron Tveit and then he was a very pleasant surprise. So many Broadway peeps in that show!

Chapter 6: It's a date!

Omg! Did he just send me a message to ask me out? Well it's not in so many words, he just asked me for out for coffee.. but still. Okay Soph just send him a cool, natural message back. Don't freak out in the message.

Sophie Wilson:

I would like that very much!

You just tell me when and where, I have a lot of free time at the moment.

I tried to be calm when I had hit send. He propably wouldn't answer in a few minutes with his busy schedule. So I put on F.R.I.E.N.D.S again. I was just a few minutes in the episode when my phone went off.

I looked at my phone and there was a message from Aaron.

"That was quick!" I thought by myself. I opened my phone and read the message.

Aaron Tveit:

Are you free tomorrow morning? We can also have breakfast if you like?

I was shocked, he also asked me to have breakfast with him. Since I moved to NYC I had never imagined that something like this would happen!

Then I turned worried again. I questioned myself if I should answer right away or wait a while. Like if I answered now he would propably think that I was waiting by my phone. But if I don't right away, he can still see that I,ve read the message.

I decided to just answer right away.

Sophie Wilson:

I'm free all day tomorrow and breakfast sounds good! Where do we meet tomorrow?

I had send Sophie a message on Instagram just because I feel so happy when I'm around her. When Sophie answered my message I felt something in my stomach. Were those butterflies? I just met the girl..

Never have I ever felt this for a girl that quick. It was stupid, but it was there.

I decided to answer her message right away. I didn't mind her thinking that it was quick. I just really wanted to see her again!

I thought of how long I had to propably wait to get a message back again. So I tried to get my mind of off things by listening to some music while playing with Miles.

Not much later I received a message on my phone.

It was Sophie!! She responded immediately. With all my enthusiam, my phone almost slipped out of my hands.

"Get yourself together Tveit!" I thought to myself.

Then I read the message and there it was, a big smile on my face. I texted her back.

Aaron Tveit:

It's a date!

How about I'll pick you up at 8:30?

I was nervous about what I wrote back. Did I really say it's a date? Was it a date?

SOPHIE'S POV

Aaron was so quick at responding. But what he wrote.. I was confused.

A date? Did he thought this was a date?

I wouldn't mind if it was an actual date. I mean I had feelings for the guy even if we knew each other just a day.

He was kind, handsome and funny. And he made me feel safe when I was around him. A thing all my ex boyfriends didn't give me.

I knew I wanted Aaron in my life. Having him as a friend meant a lot to me.

I decided to respond to his message.

Sophie Wilson:

8:30 sounds great! Can't wait!

The rest of my day was spend on my couch watching tv. I needed a relaxing day inside. Although I loved people and being outside this time of year, I once in a while needed a day all to myself.

In the evening I ordered pizza and decided on watching a movie. I was scrolling through all the movies and then one movie stood out to me.

I couldn't believe what I saw.. why didn't I see this movie earlier?

With the movie there was a picture of the two most important persons in the movie and one of them was Aaron. The movie was called 'One royal holiday'. I knew it was a Christmas movie but I decided that I really needed to see it. I couldn't get Aaron out of my head anyway.

A few minutes into the movie there he was. I laughed immediately at his funny accent. But he was cute I had to admit.

There was a feeling in me that wanted to send Aaron a message about me watching the movie, but I didn't want to bother him with it.

30 minutes later I got a message on my phone. I looked and it was Aaron.

Aaron Tveit:

What are you doing at the moment?

I laughed at his message. I decided that now was the time to send him the picture. So I made a picture of the scene that was on. Luckily he was in the shot.

I pressed send and just waited for his response.

Aaron Tveit:

You're really watching that movie? Did you miss me that much already?

Oh so now he thought I was missing him? Couldn't say it wasn't true, but I would never admit to him this early on. So I decided to tease him a little.

Sophie Wilson:

Yes I'm really watching this movie and who says I miss you? You were the one sending me a message! So you were the one thinking of me Tveit.

Aaron Tveit:

Yes, I was indeed thinking of you Wilson. Just can't wait for tomorrow! X

I blushed reading the message. I read it over and over again. I couldn't believe he thought of me. Me just a normal girl living a normal life. A boring life. Nothing was exciting about my life. Why would he fall for me? And the x at the end of the message. My heart made a little jump. I wished it was tomorrow soon.

7. which muse would you most like to meet irl?

it's so hard to narrow it down because there's so many of them i'd love to meet irl. but because i absolutely had to choose, it would probably be andrea ( leslie ann leal fc ). i chose her because she went through film school and i would love to just know how that is, and what film production is really like, and how it's like to direct a film ( a short one sure but still a film ).

12. which muse would you want to have a sleepover with?

i feel like elian ( rudy pankow fc ) would be the best to have a sleepover with. he's fun and comes up with great ideas on pranks and things to do. also we can just go crazy on takeout food. there might be a food fight involved too.

19. which muse would you not let into your house, under any circumstance? 

there's quite a few omg: céline ( olivia dejonge fc ), logan ( daisy edgar jones fc ), william ( aaron tveit fc ) and raphael ( jack quaid fc ). i mean i love them, but they're like... the most bloodthirsty of my killer muses. i'm 90% sure céline and raph won't hesitate to kill me. logan probably won't, but there's still a 30% chance she would. will... is a hit or miss. he might not, but he might. also he might steal shit from my house so there's that too.
