*******************************************************
You stirred softly in your sleep, opening and closing your eyes slowly as you became accustomed to the sunlight that poured into the room and filled your line of sight. The sheets that rested against your body were soft against your flesh as they cradled you. Feeling the mattress give way to your movements, you slowly turned over. As you did so, strong arms tightened around your waist and pulled you closer until hot, bare skin rested firmly against your back. The man they belonged to hummed softly and nestled his face into the crook of your neck. You smiled faintly as his lips left sweet, lazy kisses on your throat and his wild, messy curls tickled along your jawline.
“Good morning, beautiful,” he mumbled in a deep, sleepy whisper. His breath was warm against you, and you felt his legs tangle with your own, keeping you as close to him as possible. You placed your hand over his own and laced your fingers with his. His palms were warm against your skin, and his grip was firm and comforting. It grounded you, keeping you anchored to the moment.
You sighed softly as you leaned farther into his touch. “Morning, Josh,” you hummed, as you turned to face him. His arms loosened their grip around you as you moved but not enough for you to slip out of his grasp. You brought one of your hands up to rest against his chest, feeling the steady beat of his heart underneath your touch. He was so beautiful like this, a lazy smile painted across his face and half-lidded eyes gazing down at you. It was almost too much to bear. You wanted to tell him how you thought of him. You wanted to use every single last breath in your lungs to sing sweet praises of his beauty, but instead, you stayed silent, leaning forward and placing a soft kiss to his shoulder.
He let out a soft sigh before tilting his head down to look at you. “You sleep okay?” he murmured, as if speaking any louder would shatter the two of you into a million little pieces. Your only response was a nod and a quiet yawn, which prompted a small bubble of laughter to rise from him. “Good,” he cooed, punctuating his statement with a sweet kiss to your forehead, “I slept great. Best sleep I’ve had in a long time.”
“I’m glad,” you whispered as you laid your head against the soft skin of his chest. Your eyes fluttered shut, and you held yourself close to him, not ready to leave the space you had created with him, afraid of what would lie beyond it. His arms wrapped around you, one of his hands combing through your hair and embracing you tightly before pulling back as he began to shift his weight.
“Alright, honey, I’m gonna get up,” he said with a groan as he sat up. The movement caused the sheets to fall from his torso and gather around his waist, exposing his toned abdomen. You blushed softly at the sight, but your gaze lingered momentarily on his form. He noticed your wandering eyes and cast a playful smirk in your direction.
“See something you like?” he teased, wiggling his eyebrows and giving a small chuckle as your cheeks became flushed with a deep red hue.
“Yeah,” you mumbled shyly. You looked up at him with timid eyes while he stood. He raised his arms in a long, drawn-out stretch that made his back arch and pulled a soft groan from his lips. Watching him move so freely about the room, naked and possessed with unashamed openness, filled you with an awareness of the sudden, crushing reality of what had transpired between the two of you. You felt yourself become incredibly conscious of the fact that you were naked, your palms pressing the sheets to your body, hoping to cling to the lingering memories they held. A million thoughts and questions began to race through your mind, drowning you in a sea of vulnerable uncertainty until Josh’s voice pulled you from your spiral.
“You okay?” he asked, his body still and facing you while his face bore a look of genuine concern.
You nodded quickly in response, replying with an unconvincing, “Yeah. Yeah, I’m fine. Just tired, I guess.” You paired your reply with a soft smile in hopes that he would believe you.
He looked at you for a long moment before sighing softly and nodding. “Alright. But promise to tell me if something’s wrong, okay?” he cooed as he leaned forward and placed a soft kiss to your forehead, “I don’t want you to regret anything.” The look on his face as he said that last sentence and the mere idea of it was enough to make your heart break.
You grabbed his hand and squeezed it lightly. “I could never regret you, Josh,” you murmured, giving him a look that you hoped conveyed the truth behind your words.
He smiled in response and moved his hand from your grip as he began to walk towards his dresser. He pulled clothes out of the drawers and collected them into a neat pile before turning back to you. “I’m gonna go take a shower and get dressed. You wanna come with me?” he asked, his voice attempting an air of playfulness.
“You go ahead,” you replied with a shake of your head, “I’m gonna stay in bed for a bit longer.”
He nodded. “Okay, honey. You rest as long as you need. I’ll be right back,” he reassured as he walked into the bathroom, shutting the door behind him.
In his absence, you felt the return of that creeping insecurity, slowly but surely filling you to the brim. You felt bare and naked and silly, and you desperately needed to escape to somewhere where you could hide until you felt safe. You climbed out of the bed and threw on your clothes as quickly as possible, fighting against the lingering soreness that only made the hurt more tangible. You felt like a million eyes were on you in the empty room. You pulled the sleeves of your sweater over your hands like it was a shield protecting you from the pervasive shame that was running through your body. You grabbed your purse and keys from the shelf you had left them on last night and sat back on the bed, holding them in your lap as you waited for Josh to reenter the bedroom. You busied yourself by fidgeting with an old, frayed, woven keychain that hung from your keyring. You turned the unraveling threads between your fingers, your mind fading far away.
“Leaving already?” Josh’s voice rang through the room and pulled you from your daze. His voice held a tinge of disappointment that he tried to mask with a joking lilt. It made you feel terrible.
You nodded and looked down, mumbling out a clumsy excuse, “Uh, yeah, I gotta… I gotta go, um….” But before you could even finish, you felt hot tears roll down your cheeks, and there was nothing you could do to stop them. You buried your face in your hands as sobs rolled through your body.
Josh came to sit beside you, his weight making the mattress give way beneath him. You felt his arms wrap around you softly. “Hey,” he whispered, “Hey, it’s alright. You wanna tell me what’s bothering you, honey?” He ran his hands through your hair as he asked the question, grounding you in a way that made you love him and hate yourself for loving him all at the same time. You shook your head in response to him, unable to form anything that even resembled a sentence. “That’s okay,” he cooed, “Can you just tell me if it’s something I did?”
The question only made you cry harder, feeling like some kind of monster for making him even think that he could do anything to hurt you. A teary “no” poured out of you as you gripped his shirt, crumpling the fabric in your hands as you wept into his chest. Finally, as the tears slowly subsided, you let out a loud, wobbly sigh and spoke. “I’m so scared, Josh,” you whimpered as you tilted your head up, meeting his soft gaze.
His brow furrowed at your statement. “Scared of what?” He ran a hand across your forehead and over your hair, gently smoothing it down.
“I’m scared about what we did,” you sighed. He gave you no response, his silence prompting you to elaborate. “I… I’m scared that it doesn’t mean to you what it means to me.” You confessed it with a convinced finality like you knew that your fear and your reality were one and the same.
Josh’s grip on you tightened, and he fixed you with an unreadably even expression. “What does it mean to you?” he asked quietly.
Your answer was immediate. “Everything.”
A small hum of acknowledgment left Josh’s lips. “And what makes you think that it doesn’t mean everything to me?” His question wasn’t accusatory or loaded with any kind of animosity. He just wanted to understand.
“I don’t know,” you said after a long moment of silence, “I just… I’ve loved you for so long, Josh. You know I have. I always felt like the idea of having you was too good to be true. So, I guess I thought that after we… after what happened, you’d wake up and just realize that it was some big mistake. That you didn’t want me anymore.” You looked up at him with a blank, pained expression, hoping that he would say something, anything to prove you wrong.
He stayed silent but leaned forward, capturing your lips in a hot, all-consuming kiss. His fingers cupped your jaw, keeping you in place as he molded his lips against your own, his tongue gently slipping into your mouth, deepening the kiss. His affection left you just as breathless as it did the night before, and when he pulled back, your cheeks were flushed a bright pink.
“I love you,” he stated, his voice soberingly serious, “You hear me? I’m in love with you. Always have been. Nothing, and I mean nothing, could ever change that. I don’t care what we’ve done. You’re not just some cheap thrill to me. What we did… the way we made love… I did that because I love you. There’s no doubt in my mind on that front, alright?”
You nodded enthusiastically at his words, leaning forward and capturing his lips in a searing, desperate kiss. Your fingers carded through his curls, and a soft moan slipped from you. His hands rested on your waist, pulling you flush to him. You allowed each other's hands to travel, leaving sweet, sacred touches along your bodies, finding splendor in the removal of the final barrier between you. You mumble soft “I love you”s between heavy breaths, only stopping when you were both out of air.
His forehead rested against your own as his chest rose and fell. “You ready for round two?” he asked, his lips spreading into his characteristic grin and a soft, silly laugh tumbling from him. You joined him in his laughter and nodded your head. He gave a chaste kiss to your lips. “Good,” he breathed out, pulling you down with him onto the bed where the two of you spent the rest of the day expressing your love both in words spoken and unspoken.

"Truth or dare?"
I sat awkwardly in silence as the whole group stared at me with anticipation clear on their faces. I didn't know how I got roped into that stupid party game; it was more for twelve-year-olds than a bunch of people in their late teens.
But there I sat, contemplating my answer as my friends stared at me with a hungry look in their eyes as they waited for me to make a decision. If it had been anybody else, it would have been an easy answer: truth. But this wasn't anybody — this was Jess.
A few people knew about my crush on Josh: Hannah, Beth, Sam, Chris and even Jess too — though I knew that the others would keep their mouths shut until I was ready to express my feelings to him, I also knew that Jess was different. Now I'm not saying that having a friend with a bold and forward personality is a bad thing, but sometimes it can come with a price — and that price was my dignity.
Now don't get me wrong, it's not that I thought Jess would outright tell Josh about my crush — she was smarter than that. I knew for a fact that she would wait and leave me in a situation where I would have to tell him. And tonight was most likely going to be that night.
"Well — truth or dare, (Y/N)?" Jess asked again with a huge smirk growing on her face. The devilish and mischievous look in her eyes didn't help my nerves either. "You have to choose one."
Without giving it a second of thought and panicking due to all the impatient eyes staring me down, I blurted out a word that I knew I'd regret saying fast: "Dare!"
All the eyes widened in the room due to my bold answer, even Jess'. It seemed like nobody expected me to choose dare, since I was always the "play it safe" type of girl. But as fast as that shocked expression etched into Jess' features, a new and more sinister smirk grew.
"Ok." She sang angelicly as a new, and very fake innocence filtered through her voice. "I dare you to..."
I knew damn well that she was only dragging this out to add to the anticipation, because it was clear in her eyes that she already knew her answer. Her eyes burned holes in mine, as her smirk broadened with much excitement.
"Kiss the most beautiful person in the room!"
I nearly choked on my own spit as her words met my ears. Everybody began whispering and looking to see everyone else's expressions, which didn't help the matter. I had told Jess hundreds of times just how beautiful I found Josh to be, so she clearly knew what she was up to.
I glared her down as if I was trying to kill her with my mind, while she merely bit her bottom lip to repress a laugh. I looked around the room to see the ones who knew looking sorry and scared for me, while Emily seemed more focused on her nails than anything, and then Mike seemed almost ready for me to come to him with puckered lips. And then there was Josh, sitting there with a big smile on his face; it was obvious that he was oblivious of the situation.
I heaved a deep and defeated sigh before standing up, passing a very horned-up Mike, and shyly approached the guy I had wanted for so long. He stared up at me with a sweet smile on his face and a look of innocence in his eyes, which was weird for the dirty-minded fucker we all knew he was.
After inhaling and exhaling deeply one more time — almost as if to gain some sort of confidence I knew I wouldn't obtain by one more deep breath — I leaned down in front of him, and gently placed my lips against his own.
The room filled with audible gasps and more whispers, but none of it mattered or seemed incoherent in my now intoxicated mind. I melted into the kiss as my nerves seemed to die down, not giving a damn about what the others were saying or thinking. And to my surprise, he leaned into the kiss as well, seemingly enjoying it as his arms snaked around my form to hold me close. After what felt like an eternity, I pulled back to meet the gaze of a very flustered Josh. I couldn't help but smile at how his eyes were blown wide and his face was as red as a tomato; it was cute, though I knew his face most likely mirrored my own.
I chose that exact moment to lean in again, until my lips were just barely brushing his ear.
"You're the most beautiful man I have ever seen." I whispered softly, so no other could hear my intimate thoughts that were only meant to be heard by the one who meant to most to me.
My heart was pounding — not only from the adrenaline from what I just did, but from the amount of love I felt for him and the excitement I felt, knowing that this may be the start to a future together — a future that would change our lives for the better forever. I couldn't stop smiling, since the amount of happiness I felt couldn't compare to anything I had ever felt before. I knew at that moment that from that day on, things were only going to get better.
That feels like so long ago now...
Now I sit in a hospital room, eagerly waiting for the doctor to give us any kind of news. The only sounds I hear are my heart beat ringing in my ears — no longer due to the happiness I felt two years prior — the sounds of doctors and nurses rushing by to save lives, and the soft cries of Josh's mother as her husband holds her close. I can't stand it — it hurts too much, sitting here while completely powerless. The fear and heartbreak I feel is like nothing I've ever felt before, and I know there is a strong chance that it could only get worse.
I have been going to the hospital every day for two weeks, repeating the same routine as I wait for answers — but barely anything ever comes. So for the time being, I watch the clock intensely, counting the seconds as they tick by — insync with my heartbeat and only making it all the more noticeable. On one hand, I'm happy that Josh is still alive; but just knowing a tiny bit of information about his condition makes it hard to feel any bit of joy. I just want my baby to be ok.
After what felt like a lifetime of waiting, the doctor finally comes out and delivers the news. I'm surprised to learn that he is finally becoming himself again, and asked for one person to come see him: me.
The doctor leads me to a darkened room, and warns me to keep my distance. Apparently, just because Josh is slowly gaining his humanity back, doesn't mean his wild side has gone completely. So I have to be careful and cautious. I enter the room alone, though I know there are cameras on me, watching my every move.
The doctor told me that the only reason the light has been so restricted, is because of the sensitivity of Josh's eyes. Spending two and a half weeks in the pure darkness of the mine weakened his irises and pupils, causing the color to drain from them almost completely and leaving him almost blind. If he is in any type of lighting at this time, it would be equivalent to having his eyes on fire. So for this reason, the room must remain as dark as possible.
There was only a was only a very dull light shining over his bed, provided for seeing purposes for doctors and visitors. And thanks to that little bit of light, I can see enough to move around. And after a few slow and hesitant steps, I approach a bed.
Tears fill my eyes as I stare down at his weakened form; he barely looks like himself anymore. His left cheek is torn, his teeth are sharp and he's the most pale I have ever seen him look. I can't help but notice all the cuts all over his face and arms as well, and I shudder at the fact that I know exactly what did it. It breaks my heart to see his limbs strapped down to the bed, as if he was some sort of psychopath. Though what Josh did would seem pretty psychotic to a stranger's eye, I know in my heart that he isn't — he is just in pain and needs others to feel what he's feeling.
After a few minutes of quiet investigating on my part, Josh slowly turns his head in my direction and opens his eyes. He gazes up at me with a look of sorrow and remorse — as if he's telling me he's sorry with his now pale orbs. I take his hand in my own, quickly noticing the sharp claws replacing his nails. Just as I look down at them in shock, he let's out a mournful sob.
"I-I'm- I'm- a-a-a m-monster-r..." His voice comes out so raspy and coarse, that I nearly don't recognize it. But the sorrow and pain in his tone is strong enough to tell me that he needs me more than ever.
I lean down and place a very gentle kiss to his bruised forehead, before whispering ever so softly, "You're still the most beautiful man I've ever seen."

For as long as I can remember, it had always been me and my brothers. We were inseparable, spending our days by the lake or at home in our parents' basement. Jake started playing an instrument, and soon the others made their way down there, picking up instruments and learning the ropes. I would spend my days on the couch, listening in on the band meetings and practices, watching them improve with each session.
One day, their drummer Kyle didn't show up, and the boys were frustrated. Reluctantly, I gave it a go, hopping on the kit. I tried to learn a simple beat, but I knew the boys needed someone with the X factor. Over the next few days, Josh, Jake, and Sam became discouraged, putting out a call for a new drummer.
One day, Sam said, “I know the perfect person for this. Let me give him a call.” Within an hour, there was a knock at the door. Sam immediately jumped up and rushed to the door. Walking back in, he had a huge smile on his face. A few seconds later, in walked a 6-foot god with beautifully tanned skin and a mess of black curls. Walking up to me, he reached out his hand, and I was greeted with the most beautiful brown eyes and a perfect smile.
"Hey, I'm Danny," he said.
"Hi, I'm Y/N," I replied.
"It's lovely to meet you."
"You too," I smiled shyly.
Jumping on the kit, Danny immediately fell into sync with the rest of the boys. Not only did he match the bands energy, but he also brought his own unique vibe to the band. As time passed, days turned into nights filled with rehearsals, laughter, and shared passion, and amidst the creative energy, I couldn't help but notice something between Danny and me.
In no time, Danny seamlessly became a vital part of the group, fitting into the rhythm of our lives. As rehearsals continued, I found myself spending even more time in the basement, listening to the music, and watching Danny's infectious enthusiasm for his craft. There was a magnetic pull, an unspoken connection that seemed to transcend the musical notes.
One summer's day, the heat in the garage became unbearable, so we decided to head out to the lake. I could sense that my brothers were up to something by the way they were looking at me.
"What's going on? Why are you all smiling?" I questioned.
Sam grinned, "Oh, it's nothing. It's just that there's no room in Jake's car with all our gear. You might have to ride with Danny." The absurd smirk on his face was hard to ignore.
"Really? And why can't you ride with Danny?" I inquired.
"I have to talk to Jake and Josh about the band," Jake chimed in. "Yeah, it's a really... um, important discussion," he added, with a laughter that seemed to be trying to escape his lips.
I couldn't help but notice the mischievous glances exchanged between my brothers, leaving me with a sense of curiosity and mild suspicion.
Despite their vague explanations, I reluctantly agreed to ride with Danny to the lake.
The drive to the lake was accompanied by laughter and lively banter. Danny and I struck up a conversation, discovering shared interests and finding comfort in each other's company. The initial awkwardness I felt about the arrangement started to dissipate as we connected over stories and laughter.
Upon reaching the lake, the sun cast a warm glow over the water, creating a serene atmosphere. My brothers quickly dispersed to set up for a day of relaxation, leaving Danny and me by the shore. As we found a comfortable spot, he looked at me with a genuine smile, breaking the ice.
Danny, always up for some fun, grinned at me, "Ready for a swim?"
With a nod, we waded into the water together. The lake was refreshing, and the evening breeze played with our hair as we swam further from the shore. As we floated on the surface, conversation flowed effortlessly. It was a moment of serenity amidst the playful splashes and laughter of the boys.
At some point, Danny suggested diving underwater, and we both took a deep breath before submerging ourselves. The cool water enveloped us, and in that submerged world, our surroundings became muffled, leaving only the gentle sounds of the lake. It was a moment of shared tranquility, our eyes meeting beneath the water, conveying a silent understanding.
As we made our way back to dry land, a lighthearted teasing ensued from the boys about the 'underwater connection' between Danny and me.
"So, what do you think they're really up to?" Danny asked, his eyes reflecting a playful curiosity.
I chuckled, "Your guess is as good as mine. Knowing my brothers, it could be anything from a band discussion to plotting some elaborate prank."
Our conversation flowed effortlessly, and the day unfolded with shared laughter, dipping our feet in the cool water, and simply enjoying each other's company. Danny's easygoing nature and charm made it clear why my brothers were so fond of him.
As the sun began to set, we gathered with the others for a bonfire. Amidst the crackling flames, my brothers couldn't contain their excitement any longer.
"We've been planning something," Jake admitted, a mischievous grin spreading across his face.
Josh added, "Since Danny joined the band, we thought it was high time you two got to know each other better."
Sam chimed in, "Consider this a little nudge in the right direction."
Embarrassment flooded my face. I should have known that they would do this to me. Drying off by the bonfire, the water drops on Danny's abs sparkled like stars. I couldn't help but notice the glistening droplets, and, trying not to be too obvious, my face blushed. I quickly averted my gaze, pretending to rub my eye.
Danny, catching on to my attempt at subtlety, smirked. "Is everything okay, Y/N?" he asked, his tone teasing.
I chuckled nervously, "Yeah, everything's fine. I just got something in my eye, you know, the smoke from the bonfire."
He raised an eyebrow playfully, "Smoke from the bonfire? Or maybe you just couldn't resist the dazzling display?"
The others laughed, joining in on the good-natured teasing. Despite the light banter, there was a warmth in Danny's eyes that hinted at something more. As we all settled around the bonfire once again, I couldn't help but steal a glance at him, and our eyes met briefly, creating a momentary connection that spoke volumes beyond the playfulness.
Under the starlit sky, amidst the laughter of friends and the crackling of the fire, the day by the lake continued to unfold, leaving behind memories that twinkled like stars—each one a testament to the unexpected connection that had sparked between us.
The next day brought with it a sense of tranquility. The sun rose gracefully, casting a golden hue over the lake. Our group gathered for a leisurely breakfast by the water, the events of the previous day still lingering in the air.
As we sipped on hot coffee and enjoyed the peaceful morning, Danny and I exchanged smiles, our connection from the day before woven into the fabric of our interactions. The teasing from the bonfire had become a shared joke, creating an easy rapport between us.
The day unfolded in a series of moments—swimming in the clear waters, basking in the sun, and simply enjoying the company. As we lounged by the lake, the conversation turned to music, and Danny and I found ourselves discussing our favorite bands, songs, and the essence of what drew us to music in the first place.
In the midst of the laughter and easy conversations, there was an unspoken acknowledgment between us, a silent understanding that went beyond words. The day felt like a continuation of the serendipitous connection that had begun by the lake, and with each passing moment, it deepened
As the day nears its end, Danny suggests a walk up a nearby hill, promising a breathtaking view of the surrounding landscape. Intrigued, I agree, and together we embark on a leisurely stroll away from the laughter of the bonfire.
The path takes us through a canopy of trees, with dappled sunlight filtering through the leaves. The air is filled with the soothing sounds of nature—the rustle of leaves, the distant chirping of crickets, creating a tranquil atmosphere.
As we reach the top of the hill, the view unfolds before us, bathed in the warm hues of the setting sun. The lake sparkles in the fading daylight, and the surrounding landscape is painted in shades of orange and pink. It's a scene of serene beauty, and for a moment, we stand in quiet appreciation.
Feeling the magic of the moment, Danny turns to me with a soft smile. "Isn't it amazing?" he says, his eyes reflecting the warmth of the fading sunlight.
I nod in agreement, taking in the breathtaking scenery. The air is charged with a gentle energy, and it feels as if the world has slowed down just for us.
As we stand there, captivated by the view, Danny's hand gently finds mine. The touch is tender, and without a word, he invites me to continue the journey. We follow a winding path to a quieter spot, where the sounds of nature provide a gentle soundtrack to our steps.
Arriving at a secluded spot, surrounded by the beauty of nature, Danny turns to face me. There's a quiet intensity in his gaze—a warmth that goes beyond words. In that moment, as the last rays of the sun paint the sky in hues of pink and orange, he cups my face gently in his hands.
"I've had an incredible time here with you," he says, his voice a soft whisper.
His words hang in the air, and before I can respond, he leans in, capturing my lips in a kiss. It's a kiss filled with innocence and romance, a gentle exploration of the connection that has quietly woven between us. The world around us fades away as we share this intimate moment, surrounded by the beauty of nature and the quiet symphony of the evening.
As we pull away, there's something in our gaze—a recognition of the subtle magic that has unfolded between us. The hilltop, with its panoramic view and the quiet beauty of the evening, becomes a timeless backdrop to the beginning of something special. Hand in hand, we descend from the hill, leaving behind the twilight and stepping into the promise of what lies ahead.
As we make our way back from the hill, the air is filled with a newfound warmth, and the connection between Danny and me deepens. The journey back is filled with shared laughter, whispered conversations, and a subtle electricity that lingers between us.
Upon returning, the atmosphere has shifted. The subtle touches become more deliberate, and there's an undeniable tension in the air. Danny's hand finds mine naturally, fingers intertwining as if they've found their perfect fit. Our conversations become more intimate, exploring dreams, fears, and the intricacies of our lives.
As the night wears on, the group gradually disperses, leaving Danny and me in a quiet corner. The crackling embers of the bonfire cast a soft glow, creating an intimate space that seems to exist just for us. The air is charged with anticipation, and our closeness becomes magnetic.
Danny's gaze meets mine, a silent invitation that speaks volumes. Without a word, he leans in, and our lips meet in a lingering kiss. The kiss is no longer innocent; it's charged with a growing desire and the recognition of something more profound between us.
Returning home, the excitement was palpable as news spread through the small town that my brothers' band had been booked for a local gig. It was a significant milestone, marking a step closer to their dreams of making it in the music scene. The anticipation bubbled in the air as they prepared for the performance, fine-tuning their setlist and rehearsing tirelessly in our parents' basement.
As the night unfolds, the gig at the local bar proves to be lively and invigorating. The atmosphere is filled with the pulsating rhythm of music, the warmth of laughter, and the collective joy of the crowd. As the evening progresses, I find myself getting swept away by the celebration, and the drinks flow more freely than anticipated.
As the night draws to a close, I realize my brothers have left without me. Feeling a bit disoriented and more than a little tipsy, I turn to Danny for help. He kindly offers to give me a ride home, and we navigate the city streets in the quiet of the night.
Upon reaching my home, a sense of foreboding washes over me as I find the lights off and the door locked. My brothers have unintentionally left me stranded. Panicking, Danny suggests, "You can stay at my place for the night. I won't touch you, I promise."
Grateful for the offer, I accept, and we head to Danny's place. The ride is filled with a mix of quiet contemplation and unspoken tension. As we step into his apartment, the dim light casts a soft glow, and the atmosphere is charged with a blend of awkwardness and vulnerability.
Inside, Danny suggests a cup of tea to soothe the nerves. We sit on the couch, and in the quiet of the room, the unspoken energy between us becomes palpable. Danny, with genuine concern, tries to make me feel at ease, recognizing the unexpected turn of events.
As the night progresses, we find ourselves sharing personal stories, dreams, and fears. The connection deepens, and there's a magnetic pull between us. In a moment of vulnerability, our lips meet in a hesitant kiss. The room seems to hum with a blend of emotions—anticipation, desire, and a shared need for eachother.
Suddenly, I pull away, breathless, revealing my truth. "I've never done this before," I admit, the vulnerability in my voice laying bare my inexperience. "I'm a virgin."
Danny looks at me, his expression softening with understanding. He gently caresses my cheek and says, "I don't think we should do this right now; it's not right."
His words hang in the air, and there's a brief pause. Danny's decision, though unexpected, carries a sense of respect and consideration. The room, once charged with anticipation, is now shrouded in an understanding that the best things in life are worth waiting for.
As the night ends, Danny offers a spare room for me to sleep in. The tension lingers, but there's a newfound understanding between us—one that transcends the physical.
The day after the local gig, embarrassment lingered within me like a heavy cloud, making it difficult to look Danny in the eye. The memory of our intimate moment weighed on my mind, and I couldn't shake the feeling of vulnerability. As time passed, however, the atmosphere gradually shifted, and the routine of rehearsals and shared musical passion helped to rebuild a sense of normalcy.
The turning point came when the boys received an invitation to play at a significant music venue in Nashville. The prospect of such an opportunity filled the air with excitement, overshadowing the remnants of embarrassment. We all traveled to Nashville, and as we checked into the hotel, the anticipation of the upcoming gig added an extra layer of excitement.
The night of the performance was nothing short of magical. The big music venue buzzed with energy, the crowd eager to experience the raw talent of my brothers' band. The stage lights illuminated the venue, casting a mesmerizing glow. As the boys played their hearts out, the audience responded with enthusiasm, creating an electric atmosphere.
Unable to take my eyes off the stage, I watched in awe as the music reverberated through the venue. Danny's passion for the drums was evident in every beat, and his energy added a dynamic layer to the performance. God, he was beautiful up there. The gig was a resounding success, leaving an indelible mark on the Nashville music scene.
After the performance, we all went out for dinner to celebrate. The excitement lingered, and a sense of camaraderie filled the air. With the adrenaline of the gig still coursing through our veins, Danny suggested a visit to a beautifully lit garden nearby.
As we walked through the garden, the soft glow of lights creating a romantic ambiance, the atmosphere became charged with a different kind of energy. The initial hesitancy melted away, and beneath the moonlit sky, we shared a kiss—a gentle, affirming connection that transcended any lingering doubts.
Afterwards, we drove back to the hotel in a comfortable silence. In Danny's hotel room, surrounded by the soft hum of city sounds, we delved into deep conversations about music, life, and dreams. The connection between us intensified, and as we shared more intimate moments, the barriers that had once separated us crumbled.
In that hotel room, beneath the city lights of Nashville, our hearts beat in unison. The night unfolded like a melody, each note resonating with the shared rhythm of our connection. As we kissed and touched more intimately, it became clear that the embarrassment of the past couldn't dull the electrifying connection—one that seemed to echo the music that had brought us together in the first place.
Our kisses grew more intense, reflecting the raw emotions that had been building between us. In the heat of the moment, Danny's lips found their way to my neck, and the sensation sent shivers down my spine. The aggression of his kisses was both thrilling and exhilarating, igniting a flame that seemed to burn brighter with every touch.
As he kissed my neck with a fervor, the boundaries between us blurred, and the intensity of the connection we shared became undeniable. The passion in the air heightened, and the room seemed to close in, creating a space where desire and anticipation mingled.
Despite the intensity of the moment, there was a certain tenderness in Danny's touch—a delicate balance between the fierce passion and gentle softness.
“Are you sure this is what you want?”
“I want you more than anything.”
“I want to make you feel how you deserve to feel.”
Leaving a trail of kisses down my neck to the top of my pelvis, he gently pulls my pants down. Laying a kiss on my center over my underwear, the feeling is overwhelming and I let out a soft moan.
His mouth against me becomes increasingly intense until I feel his tongue gently brush against my center, the licks becoming more aggressive.
“Holy fuck that feels amazing.”
“Shh just relax.”
I feet something bubbling my inside me, I grab his hand and he grips around it. He looks up at me through my legs and I melt. The feeling takes over my whole body but he doesn’t relent pushing me over the edge. When I start to come down from the high he goes back to kissing my center and stroking his thumb over my hand.
“Can I please do that again, you taste amazing.”
“Please.”
Going back to licking, this time focusing on my clit, makes my legs shake. I reach for his hand again. Once I started moaning and feel the beginning of that feeling bubbling again, he stops. Opening my eyes and looking to see what was happening, he lifts his finger to his mouth and covers it in saliva and brings it to my entrance
“Can I?”
“Yes.”
“I'll be gentle I promise.”
As soon as I felt his finger enter me, it was too much, digging my nails into his flesh. Suddenly, he stops.
“It's okay, I promise I won't hurt you.”
Relaxing into it, he pushes his finger in slowly till it is all the way. Then he returns his tongue to my clit the feeling Is pure bliss and I was quickly brought to climax again. This time I felt wetness cover his finger, which I could tell made him very happy. Licking his finger clean he leans over me and kisses me so passionately that all the breath was knocked out of me. He gently places his hand around my neck and licks into my mouth the feeling of his tongue is amazing. As I kiss him back, he holds me in place, then takes one hand and squeezes my breast. Taking his time to kiss and touch me, I felt the wetness pooling.
“I want you so bad.”
“Are you sure? We can just leave it here. I promise this was enough for me”
“Please fuck me.”
Just like that, he lines himself up with my opening. Looking in my eyes for any sign of fear, he kisses me deeply on the lips and pushes himself inside of me. Feeling the stretch instantly filling me up, I moaned into his mouth. he waits a little while for me to get used to his size, then slowly pushes himself deeper and deeper until it is all the way inside. kissing my neck, he slowly starts to pull out and push back in until I get used to the feeling. Moans quickly leave my mouth, and I claw at his back at the feeling, and I feel myself getting wetter.
“You feel so fucking good.” he moans into my ear.
“Such a good girl.”
As soon I could feel myself about to cum, he holds me tighter, relentlessly pounding deeper and deeper.
“I'm gonna cum.”
“Cum for me angel.”
Just like that I come undone, tensing around his cock.
“you're going to make me cum too.”
His cock twitches inside me as he cums, he pulls out and sends cum all over me. Getting up he gets a warm washcloth and cleans me up. He pulls me into a big bear hug and kisses my cheek. The feeling is so peaceful knowing Danny will always be there for me. I can trust him and know he wouldn't let me down. He plays with my hair until I fall asleep. Drifting off, I think to myself, I can't wait to try everything with danny.

Comfort // Deyna Castellanos
a/n: based off this request. I hope you like it!
"Hey…" Deyna whispered, you let your bags drop on the floor, eyes red and puffy. You looked at her and then you broke down. All the tears that you didn‘t spill at the airport were now streaming down your face twice as hard. "Baby…" she wrapped her arms around your small body, you were sobbing in her neck, shaking. It hurt her to see you like that. "I- I should‘ve done more"
Deyna guided you to the couch, your head resting in her lap while her hand played with your hair as she tried to calm you down. No words were exchanged. You couldn‘t talk anymore, you did it too much already. Deyna was just there, the comfort you needed. She was the only one who was allowed to see you so vulnerable. You cried until you fell asleep.
Deynas sitting position wasn‘t comfortable but she would never have dared to get up and wake you, not when you looked so hurt.
While you were sleeping, she thought of something that might or at least cheer you up a little.
"Deyna" you rasped out, her eyes finding yours "I love you"
"I love you too," she gave your forehead a kiss before you slowly sat up, still on her lap. "Kiss?" you smiled, shyly. The striker grinned, giving you a kiss. A kiss that held so many emotions.
"Take a shower, we‘re going out" Deyna told you, pressing multiple kisses over your face "where are we going?"
"For me to know, for you to find out"
Quickly, you took a shower and dressed yourself before you made your way back to the living room where your girl was. "you look nice" the striker commented on your (casual) outfit, smiling fondly at you. "Are you ready, my love?"
"Yeah, let’s go" you grabbed her hand, pulling her outside, stopping at the street "Um, where do we have to go?"
"Follow me" she pressed a kiss to your cheek, walking down the street.
The two of you talked about everything and nothing but the World Cup, not wanting the mood to change. The walk wasn‘t long, Deynas plan was to take you out to your favorite restaurant.
"Tada" your girlfriend stated with open arms to point at the restaurant. "My favorite restaurant?"
"Well, yes?" she looked at you confused, your face unreadable, "we can go somewhere else if you want to?"
"No, no! It‘s amazing, you‘re amazing"
You went inside, taking a seat at your usual table. You could see everything from the table, you could look outside or to the kitchen and could see every person in the restaurant. "Hi, how are you both? Long time no see!" Josh, the waiter said.
It's funny, whenever you guys had been here, Josh had always been your waiter. He was a super nice guy, attentive and friendly with a sense of humor. You enjoyed his company, he was not only your waiter but also became a friend and thought Manchester is blue (something you loved to hear) One day, you had invited him to the Derby and afterwards he cried about how great it was, he was such a sweet soul. "Joshy boy! How are you? How‘s the little sister?"
"I‘m great, thank you. She‘s still crushing on you" he laughed, Deyna watched the scene in front of her, a big smile on her face. "I told you, you should take her with you to a game" you smacked his arm, giggling along. His sister was sweet 6 year old girl, obsessed with football and a die-hard ManCity fan, a die-hard Y/N/L fan. "One day…maybe. So your usual?" he looked at you and your girlfriend who nodded, then walked away.
Your date went on smooth, Deyna a charmer as always, some chats with Josh and a delicious meal. For a moment, you could forget your sadness about the World Cup final loss, you could be yourself and happy.
"Thank you, Josh, it was amazing as always." your girl stated as he cleared the table.
"Baby, can we get Ice cream?" you asked with puppy dog eyes.
"Of course, my love" Deyna paid for your meals before the two of you said bye to Josh, giving him hug.
As you got your ice cream (Deyna paid again with the statement: it’s my treat) you walked home, holding hands. You felt at peace, the sun had already set, stars clear in the sky.
"Thank you for doing this" you knew the striker did all this to ease your mind "I love you" your arms went around her neck, pulling her down. You kissed her like you would lose her.
The final will hurt for a while but you were nothing but proud of your team and with Deyna by your side at every step of the way, you‘ll come back stronger.
The lionesses would come back stronger than ever, ready to take revenge.

Iced Chai
Josh Kiszka X Queer Plus Size Female Reader

It was a sweltering hot day in Nashville as you stepped through the welcoming threshold of the little coffee shop on the corner. It was bustling with the Sunday morning crowd. People were most likely doing the same thing you were doing today, exploring the unique small businesses that littered the neighborhood. Stepping into line you already knew exactly what drink you were ordering, it's the only thing you ever ordered here because it tasted divine.
Once you reached the front of the line the barista asked for your order.
"Hi, can I please get a large iced vanilla chai latte. Oh! With oat milk please," you told her, smiling as sweet as the drink you were about to consume.
"Absolutely! That'll be $10.73." She replied back to you, punching buttons on her tablet that served as the cash register. "Your name for the order?"
Reaching into your purse you grabbed a twenty dollar bill, "Y/N. You can put the change in the tip jar."
"Thank you so much, it'll be out shortly." The barista replied back to you, taking your change and putting it into the large mason jar in front of you on the countertop.
You shuffled over to the pick up area crowded with other customers. Patiently waiting for your delicious treat, you eyed it in another barista's hand bringing it over to the pickup counter.
Calling out into the crowd," I have an iced vanilla chai with oat milk for-" a loud clatter came from the drink prep area drowning out the name.
You raced up to the counter eager for your drink. Taking it from the barista's hand, clutching it in your own. You started walking towards the door ready to begin exploring when you were approached by a man. He was small in stature with kind brown eyes and an interesting curly mullet. He was strikingly beautiful.
"Um. That's my drink." He said gesturing to the chai.
" Uh no, it's definitely mine." Clutching the to-go cup a little tighter.
He pointed to the black marker on the side of the cup, " An iced vanilla chai with oat milk? For Josh?" His eyebrows raised as a giggle passed through his lips.
"Ah, shit. I also got a vanilla chai. I'm so sorry." You handed him the to-go cup clearly marked with his name. "They're my favorite here, I guess I got a little over excited." You said talking with your hands.
He laughed while running his fingers over his mustache, " Would you like to sit with me while we wait for your chai?"
"Sure! That would be nice."
"Iced vanilla chai with oat milk for Y/N!" A voice rang out from behind the counter.
You smiled at Josh, him sending you a wink, as you headed up to retrieve the liquid gold in your cup.
Once you returned to his side, "Let's go sit." Giving him a flirty smile in which he returned. The enormous white smile adorning his face made your heart skip a beat. It looked so genuine.
You followed him out into the heat, settling down on a patio chair at the cafe's outdoor seating.
"It's so cold in there, I hope you don't mind." Josh said, rubbing his hands together, warming them back up.
" No, not at all!" You lied. Knowing sitting here in the heat, sweating, won't help the chub rub bound to ensue walking around town today. But you were sure his pretty smile could convince you to do just about anything.
Taking a sip of his latte he groaned. An angelic noise coming from his throat. A bit of foam gathered where his cupid's bow met his facial hair," These are always exquisite." Wiping his face with the back of his hand, "So, I'm Josh. What's the name of the beautiful girl who tried to steal my drink?"
Shyly smiling, you replied to him," I'm really so sorry about that. I'm quite embarrassed honestly. But uh, my name's, Y/N."
Playing with the fringe hem of your denim shorts you took in the stunning artwork that was the man sitting across from you. He was wearing khaki colored shorts, a loose fitting white t-shirt with rolled cuffs at the arms, and a black bandana tied around his neck like a necklace. Scanning up his face you noticed his ears were adorned with silver jewelry, cuffs around his cartilage, a hoop in one lobe and a sword dangling from his other ear.
He exuded confidence. It made you wonder why he was flirting with you.
You had no doubts about your beauty, but you were always on the bigger side. Always the fat friend. When you went out with your girlfriends the men who flocked to them never paid you any attention, and if they did you were preparing for it to be a joke. The men who picked up women at the bars you frequented wanted a girl with big tits and an ass, but not as big as yours. Yours were too big. You had plenty of curves, but in the wrong places to be society's standard of beauty. You didn't even look like the plus size models.
Always such a pretty face. You've heard since before you were old enough to be pretty.
Josh asked you what your plans were for the afternoon. You told him that you were headed to the record store down the street.
His eyes lit up, " I was also heading there! What were you looking for? Would I be imposing if I joined you?" He gushed out.
A goofy smile spread across your face, for whatever reason he wanted to spend more time with you. " Of course you can tag along!"
Josh stood up and motioned for you to take the lead, he put his hand low on your back as he guided you there.
You instantly tensed under his touch, your back was by far your biggest insecurity. Lumps and bumps where they shouldn't be. Skin squeezing out from under your bra strap. You couldn't help thinking about what he was feeling through your shirt.
Lost in your own mind you heard him chattering about his day so far, and how he was looking forward to checking out the new releases at the record shop. At first you didn't hear his question. He gingerly tapped your shoulder," Earth to Y/N! Are you looking for a specific artist?"
"God, I'm sorry Josh! Yes, I am actually looking to expand my Hendrix collection. Today I'm looking for Hendrix in the West."
" That's a great choice! My brother Jake has been searching for that one recently too." He told you opening the door to the shop.
Once inside you could smell the familiar musk of the cardboard record sleeves. It was one of your favorite smells.
" You have brothers?" Asking him as you meander down the first aisle.
"Yes! I actually have two brothers and a sister. I'm the oldest sibling. What about you?" He answered your question, sliding past you grazing his fingers across your ass. You looked him in the eye as a cheeky smile appeared on his face.
" I'm an only child." You fingered through the rock collection going through alphabetically. You got to the G's, knowing you'd find Hendrix soon. Dark blue sky and orange flames peaked your interest as you picked up a record. From the Fires- Greta Van Fleet. You hmm'd as you briefly inspected the album art before putting it back down. Moving deeper in the stack looking for what you were searching for.
Finding the black album with brown lettering you were elated.
"Josh! I found it! Wait there's two, you should pick it up for Jake." You said handing him the other copy.
" That's amazing! It seems like you're my good luck charm because I found what I was searching for too," he held up a copy of Hounds of Love by Kate Bush.
You both wandered around the store for a while longer. Josh found three more albums for his collection and you grabbed a tote bag and a few pins to stick on it. You told him more about the albums that you were looking for and he told you that you had great taste in music.
Eventually you both walked up to the register with your treasures in hand.
From behind you in line you heard a woman exclaim, "Wait, are you Josh Kiszka, like Josh Kiszka of Greta Van Fleet? Oh my God I love you guys!"
Josh turned around and did a little half wave," Yeah I am. It's nice to meet a fan!"
Greta Van Fleet…. Oh my God, the album you picked up. It's his album.
You watch the girl give him a hug and ask for a selfie. You mentally facepalmed yourself as you realize you have been spending your afternoon with a rockstar and you didn't even know it.
A few moments later he returned to your side, as you looked up at him you noticed the blush on his cheeks.
"You're a somebody."
" To a lot of people I am. I liked being a nobody to you. I miss being totally normal sometimes. You didn't know who I was, did you?"
" I still don't, but I did pick up one of your albums because I liked the cover art."
You noticed he was staring at his feet, " Would you like a private listening party?" He looked up at you through his lashes.
" I would love a private listening party Josh Kiszka of Greta Van Fleet."
He smiled warmly, motioning to you to put your items on the counter alongside his, " Please, it's just Josh."
************
You followed Josh's truck through the streets of Nashville until you came to the suburbs, lawns getting more expansive each turn you made away from the city.
Parking your car next to his he came over to the driver's side to open it for you.
Holding his hand out for you to take as you climbed out of your car, " You know you're quite sweet Josh, opening doors for me and all."
You saw him visibly look you over before sending a wink," I aim to please."
Hearing that sentence made warmth pool in your lower stomach.
Following him inside you looked around at his gorgeous home. It felt so peaceful, a grounding space inside a chaotic town.
He led you to the living room space, and motioned to you to sit beside him on the floor in front of the coffee table. There were mix matched coasters sitting on the solid piece of oak wood, along with various crystals, and a good size wooden box with ornate carvings.
" Do you smoke?" Josh asked you while putting the universal sign of smoking the devil's lettuce to his lips.
" I do some, I don't have a super high tolerance or anything." You were getting excited about the idea of being able to relax.
" Would you like to?" He asked, dancing his finger on the latch of the box on the table.
" I would love to."
" Wonderful! Go over to the records on the wall. Pick one of the Greta albums, whichever intrigues you, babe." He said while gathering the supplies for our smoke session.
You got up and wandered to the bookshelf next to the record player, it was an immense collection, hundreds of albums organized alphabetically like his own personal record shop.
Quickly finding Greta Van Fleet thanks to his organization, you picked up the single light colored album. Starcatcher You studied the rather plain album, curiosity peaked as to why it was so different from the other ones.
Walking back over to him you extended your pick, "This one is what I want to listen to first."
Finishing the task in his hands, "Ahh! The mighty Starcatcher. You're in for a real treat, Y/N. This is our newest album, just released a few days ago."
You pull the entirety of the contents out of the record sleeve. You reach in and grab the dazzling crystal clear vinyl handing it to Josh.
As he went to put the record on you got comfortable back in your spot with the inserts in your hand. Flipping the pictures, studying them. Taking special attention to the picture of Josh standing in the sand with his arms raised, torso on full display.
Sliding in next to you, you heard a funky sounding organ fill the room. " You know you're drooling over that picture when you could just be drooling over me. I'm right here, in the flesh." He said quickly gripping onto the meat of your thigh. Squeezing and releasing it. Watching the plush flesh surround his slender fingers each time he squeezes.
With a blush on your cheeks you tell him that you were just looking at the pictures.
He lights the blunt as an enchanting voice echos through the room.
Hail the God song…
Flipping through the pages of the booklet you tell him that the voice you hear is incredible.
A small smile appears on his face," Thank you, that's me. I'm the singer."
Passing the blunt back and forth you appreciate the music. It's truly phenomenal. The waves of the music enhance your high, you feel like a note floating along sheet music.
You begin to relax into his side. He rests his hand on your inner thigh, slowly moving it up and down the expanse of your skin.
"Josh, can I ask you a question?"
"Of course babe, what's up."
You put your hand on top of his to halt his movements." Why am I here? I know you have thousands of people who would kill to be sat right here. I mean even that girl at the record store looked….. different than me. Smaller than me. I'm sure she's more your type." Fully voicing your insecurities to him.
"Sweetie. You are my type. I was captivated by you, by your aura. And your exquisite taste in caffeine." He chuckled trying to ease your mind. " Come here." He pulled you over so you could straddle his lap. Resting his hands on your hips he continued," Personally, I love bigger bodies. They're so much more interesting to look at. So much more interesting to touch. You're soft and warm. Bodies like yours are like coming home on an autumn afternoon and snuggling up under a cozy blanket. You're so cozy and I'm perpetually cold!" He paused to take a breath," Truly you're beautiful, gorgeous even. You caught my eye instantly Y/N, I am so attracted to you."
You smiled at his honesty. You smiled because he wanted you.
"Josh?"
He hmm'd in response.
"Can I kiss you?"
He leaned down and caught your lips between his. You kissed him softly at first, reveling in his plush lips. His hands slid from your hips to grip onto your ass, guiding your kiss into heated territory.
The fuzziness in your brain was increasing your body's sensitivity tenfold. He licked into your mouth and you moaned instantaneously, his motion sending shockwaves straight to your core.
You started grinding your hips into his, his hardness creating friction you craved. One particularly hard push of your hips made him whine into your mouth, and you swore to yourself that you would make him make that noise again and again. It was sinful.
You pulled away from Josh's lips just long enough to tug at his shirt signaling that you wanted it off.
He pulled it over his head and threw it somewhere in the room not caring where it went. You oggled him, his chest was rising and falling rapidly, panting. Josh's cheeks were a deep red blush and his lips were slick and swollen. You couldn't believe how fucked out he already looked.
"Please babe, take it off. Let me see you, let me touch you." He panted, almost begging.
How could you deny him?
You shuffled back down towards his feet so he could get a better look at you undressing for him.
You quickly pulled your top off and hastily unclasped your bra leaving your chest bare to him. He reaches out to touch, and lets his hands fall to his thighs realizing that he hasn't gotten your permission yet.
His head falls back against the cushion of the couch exposing the delicate skin of his neck.
" Fuck, they're pierced. Are they healed?"
"They are." You said toying with your nipple to tease him.
He runs his hand down his face to collect himself, " Can I suck on them?"
"Please, Josh."
He grips onto your hips and pulls you back into his lap. He supports your breast in his hand as he connects his mouth to the sensitive flesh. His tongue swirling around the metal bar.
Arching your back into his touch you snake your hands into the curls at the base of his neck, anchoring him to you. You felt him start to rock his hips up to meet your heat.
"Please more," you moaned breathlessly. " I want you, I want you in me."
He disconnected from your breast,"yeah? You're sure, baby?"
You pulled yourself from his lap and stood up hooking your thumbs into the waistband of your shorts, freeing them from your hips.
"I'm absolutely sure." Motioning to his pants," your turn handsome, let me see you."
A smile spread across his face. He pushed his shorts and underwear down over his ass and hips, freeing the prettiest pink cock you've ever seen.
"You're gorgeous," you told him, climbing back down into his lap, grabbing his length and sliding the head through the slick that has been accumulating between your thighs.
"Fuck, you feel so good and I'm not even inside of you yet." He let out little whines and groans as you teased him in your heat.
"Please, please Y/N, please I need you." His voice dripping with want.
Grasping his cock, hot and heavy in your hand, you lined him up with your entrance. Slowly you sank down, reveling in the way he was stretching you out.
"Y/N you feel incredible. Holy shit."
You moaned into the crook of his neck as you felt his cock twitch.
Gently you started to rock in his lap, already feeling euphoria. Josh reached one hand down between your legs and rubbed his fingers against your clit. You clenched around his length and began to bounce harder in his lap. Josh met your hips with upward thrusts, the tip of his cock tapping your cervix. The knot that has been tightening in your stomach all night was begging to come undone. You nails gripped into his shoulders trying to keep you grounded as you felt your orgasm overtake you.
"Fuck, fuck, Josh I'm cumming! Oh my god!"
"Fuck yeah you are, cum all over my cock baby. Such a good girl."
You rested your forehead against the crook of his neck, panting as you tried to catch your breath. You felt the tingly aftershocks from your orgasm run down your back and into your extremities.
You felt his chest rumble, " Feel good sweetheart?" He ran his hands down your back, making you shiver. " Are you ready to continue?"
His cock twitching inside you brought you back to the moment.
" Yes, sorry."
"Baby, never tell me you're sorry for having an orgasm like that ever again. I would be honored to give another one." A slightly cocky grin appeared on his face.
He continued thrusting his hips upwards at a delicious pace. You matched his pace rocking against him. After a while you started clenching around his length, feeling close to another orgasm.
" Josh,I'm getting close."
"Me too babe." His thrusts getting sloppy, "Where do you want me to cum?
You got lost in another orgasm, and he asked his question again more frantically," Y/N babe, you've gotta tell me where you want me to, I can't hold on." A small whine escaped his lips.
"In me, please, in me inmeinme in!" You wailed, desperate for his warmth.
His groan echoes loudly throughout the room as his cums, painting your insides with his seed.
Both coming down from your highs you realize that the record stopped playing some time ago.
Josh kisses you deeply before helping you up and to the bathroom.
He gathered your clothes and guided you through his home into his bedroom that had an ensuite bathroom. You watched him, comfortable in his nakedness, as he turned on the hot water and prepared a washcloth for you to clean up with. As Josh was busy with his task you peered at yourself in the mirror, noting your heavy breasts hanging low on your chest. Self consciousness creeping into your mind.
" You look gorgeous," He said to you, catching your gaze in the mirror." Look at your face, your cheeks are blushed, lips swollen, eyes a little glassy. You look satisfied. You're exuding feminine energy, it's turning me on again." He said turning around to show you his semi erect cock.
He handed you the hot washcloth," I'll leave you be to clean up, I'll just be in the bedroom."
After cleansing your body and putting your clothes on you met him in his room. You were about to speak when you heard footsteps in the hallway.
"Oh my God, we were not alone?" You said, embarrassment gracing your features, totally unaware that he had roommates.
His hand came up to rub the back of his neck, "Ah, yeah. Jake came home like halfway through our escapades in the living room."
You put your head in your hands, utterly embarrassed," He definitely heard me beg for you to cum in me."
Josh let out a boyish giggle," Well, I thought it was extremely hot."
You let the topic fall off as you heard pans rattling around in the kitchen.
"I guess we better head down there so I can get going."
"Oh yeah! Of course." Josh said standing up from his seated position on the bed.
"I seriously had such an amazing day today. Thank you Josh."
"I did too, really, I had so much fun. Can I get your number, so we could maybe do this again?" He said to you, extending his phone out.
You entered your number and sent yourself a text so you would have his number waiting for you in your purse by the door.
You followed Josh down the steps, stopping just before you reached the doorway to the kitchen when you heard a voice similar to Josh's, "Hello brother. I'm making grilled cheese, do you both want one?"
Following Josh into the spacious kitchen, dimly lit in an orange glow coming from the overhead light above the stove.
Josh sat down at the barstool next to the counter,"I'll take one, do you want one Y/N?"
"Uh sure. I'll take one." You told Jake.
You watched him prepare the sandwiches. He was slightly taller and more filled out than Josh. Long wavy hair cascading down his back.
Once the sandwiches were ready he set them down in front of the both of you, standing against the opposite counter.
"So, you're the one who took my parking spot." He said to you without any emotion.
"Oh, shit, yeah I'm so sorry. I uh-"
"I'm just fucking with you!" Jake let out a belly laugh," park there all you want, I'm just glad Josh is having a good time." He took a bite of his sandwich," I have to yank your chain a little bit. You two scarred me,I walked into my own home to hear my own music playing, and then I heard something that definitely wasn't my music." He snickered. " Rest assured I didn't see anything, I pieced together what was happening in there and beelined it to my bedroom."
You covered your face in your forearms resting on the counter," I am so embarrassed this isn't how I wanted my first impression to go."
Josh piped up," It's just a bit of payback for that one time I came in from the pool out back, minding my own damn business. I even had headphones in, to walk into this kitchen to find Jake and his girlfriend doing it on this damn kitchen counter."
Jake replied back," I honestly forgot you were even home that day!"
The three of you chatted for much longer than you thought you were going to. You learned that they were twins, and their band was the two of them, their younger brother Sam and their best friend Danny. You loved watching Jake and Josh converse, they have a great sense of humor. Each joke makes the other laugh harder. The three of you ended up on the couch watching Friends. As the episode progresses your eyes get heavier and heavier. Your head found a comfortable spot against Josh's shoulder. Feeling his warmth and being comforted by the smell of his cologne you were steadily drifting to sleep.
As the credits roll for the end of the episode Josh gently wakes you up," Hey. It's really late, and I'm not comfortable with you driving home since you already fell asleep. I'm going to get the guest room set up for you."
You followed him sleepily upstairs and into the spare bedroom, a glorious queen size mattress with fluffy comforter awaited you.
"Thank you Josh. Seriously, I've enjoyed my time with you immensely. I really want to keep seeing you." You told him shyly with the blanket from off the couch wrapped around you.
"I would love that. I don't have any plans tomorrow, the guys and their girlfriends are coming over to hangout. We're probably going to go in the pool, if you want to stay you're more than welcome. I'd really like it if you did."
"I am off tomorrow, the pool sounds fun. I'll just have to get my swimsuit from my house first."
"Perfect, I'll see you in the morning. My bedroom is just down the hall on the left if you need me." Josh told you before giving you a sweet kiss on the lips.
************
You were woken up by soft knocking on the bedroom door.
"Come in!" You called sleep evident in your voice.
"Good morning sunshine. I brought you a coffee with french vanilla creamer. I uh- hope you like it, I don't even know if you like coffee-" Josh rambled.
" Thank you Josh, I love coffee. I really appreciate it." You sat up in bed with the plush comforter around your waist. You started giggling as he sat down.
"What? What's so funny?!" He exclaimed, extending the cup out to you to grab.
"I'm laughing because you came in me already but you didn't know if I liked coffee."
He chuckled," That is quite funny. Speaking of, do we need to stop by the pharmacy?"
"No, I'm on birth control, and I have my pills with me in my purse so we're all good." You told him taking a sip of the deliciously sweet coffee.
You watched him fidget with his hands in his lap, he was getting quite antsy.
"Wait, are you going to tell me you have an STD or something?" You asked a pit in your stomach starting to form. He is a rockstar after all.
"No, no! God no. Um, I do want to tell you something though. Sam's girlfriend is coming with him this afternoon, and she's very nice, but she has been known to say some things that aren't exactly, uh how do I say it, nice to the LGBTQ community, and uh, I'm queer. I wanted you to know in case she said something about my past partners being male." He stopped to take a breath and you decided to interrupt.
"Josh, that's amazing that you're queer. I am too!" You watched an enormous smile appear on his face, his eyes crinkling. You continued," I used to label myself as bisexual but I decided that I don't necessarily fit that label, or any label actually."
Josh spoke," I too am unlabeled. I'm attracted to who I am attracted to. I love who I want to love. There's too much love to experience in this world than to be narrowed down to one category of person. "
You felt joy in your chest," Exactly! I'm so glad to hear you say that." You grasped his hand in your free one," I think this thing we have going on is going to work out nicely."
**********
As the two of you finished up breakfast you learned that Jake was off picking up his girlfriend. You two decided to take your car back to your apartment to gather your things needed for an afternoon in the pool.
You unlocked your front door and stepped in letting Josh follow behind you. He was looking around at your eclectic style. You had jewel colored furniture and pillows everywhere. Various plants hanging from the ceiling and placed in every window. Homemade artwork gracing every wall. Your house was an extension of the inside of your mind. A stream of colors.
"Y/N your house is so cool, I love it." Josh exclaimed with amusement in his eyes
"Thanks, I've tried to make the space feel homey." You led him to your bedroom so you could gather your supplies. Grabbing your new tote bag that Josh generously bought for you, you rifled through your bottom drawer of your dresser looking for the black bikini you had in mind. Once you found it you stuffed it inside along with a scrunchie to tie up your hair and some sunscreen. Once packed you turned around to find him looking at the pictures on top of your dresser from last year's Pride celebration. You were standing next to your best friend clothed in rainbow having the time of your life.
"That looks so fun." Josh murmured. "I've never been. I just came out publicly, like to our fans, so maybe this time I can go."
"It was a blast. Maybe we could even go together." You told him.
He gave you a genuine smile," I'd like that."
Opening your dresser drawer you grabbed a fresh outfit to change into for the day, black cotton shorts and a black cropped T-shirt. You excused yourself to go to the bathroom and change before meeting him in the living room.
"Okay, let's blow this popsicle stand."
Giggling you felt Josh interlace his fingers with yours leading you to the front door.
**********
Once you arrived back at Josh's house you found two other cars parked in the driveway besides the Jeep you knew was Josh's and what you assumed was Jake's.
"Looks like Sam and Danny are already here." Josh said, grabbing your hand off of the shifter and kissing the back of it," Don't be nervous, they're all going to love you."
Following Josh into the home you found the group gathered on the couch in the living room.
Next to Jake you saw a petite woman with blonde hair and tan skin, she was stunning. On her right was a tall man with gorgeous curly hair that you would have paid money to run your fingers through. Across from the couch sitting on the floor was a man who looked incredibly similar to Jake but with facial hair, and a woman with brown hair, equally as beautiful, tucked up into his side. Everyone in the room was incredibly gorgeous and you suddenly felt like you didn't belong here.
"Everyone meet Y/N! Y/N meet everyone!" Josh giggled, " You've already met Jake, but that's his girlfriend Lilly, Danny, Sam, and his girlfriend Jenn." He pointed to each person in the room.
Lilly got up and gave you a hug," Oh it's so nice to meet you!" She turned to Josh," Josh your girlfriend is so cute!"
"Lilly you're too sweet, this thing between us is very new. We haven't talked about anything like that yet."
"Oh shit, sorry!" Lilly laughs and walks into the kitchen. Sam then gets up off of the floor and proclaims that it's time to get the food started. Danny and Josh follow the others into the kitchen to help.
Jenn comes over to you next and remarks," I'm glad you're dating Josh, I was starting to think he was gay or something. This guy was constantly hanging around him, inviting himself over for dinner and such." A condescending giggle left her mouth.
"Oh, yeah, ah see. Let's not assume someone's sexuality. That's really not okay. I myself am queer and that's a big no-no in the community. I'm not mad at you or anything, but doing that could be really dangerous for someone. So, lets not okay?!"
Jenn gapes her mouth open for a moment while she collects herself," oh, yeah. I'm sorry, I didn't realize that. I won't do that again." She excuses herself to join Sam in the kitchen.
"Hey Y/N, come here." Jake motions to you from his spot on the couch.
Sitting down next to him, he squeezes your knee," Thank you for saying that. Thank you for correcting her, his partners in the past would just let her say things like that even if it hurt him to hear. I appreciate you going to bat for him like that."
You gave him a heartfelt smile as Josh came back into the room holding plates of raw hamburger and hot dogs, "Jake! Fire up the grill my man, everyones hungry!"
A short while later everyone was lining up, and you grabbed a plate. You were starving, it was late in the afternoon for lunch. You couldn't help but notice that both Jenn and Lilly only put a singular hotdog on their plate. Looking at Josh's plate he had a hamburger and some chips. You followed suit and grabbed a burger and a small handful of potato chips knowing full well that that will not satisfy you. The food on your plate was equivalent to a kids meal.
Danny's plate was the only one loaded up, he leaned down to softly say," Take as much as you want. They always make too much food."
Gripping onto your paper plate a little tighter you assured him that it was fine and that this was plenty. The thought of any of them thinking that you were the big girl who doesn't know when to stop was mortifying.
Everyone ate and chatted getting to know you. You had a pretty good feeling about Lilly, you thought that you two could become friends. Jenn you were still unsure of. The boys treated you as if you have known them forever, a common trait it seems. From the moment you first spoke to Josh you were getting along.
After a while Jenn spoke up, " Lilly, can I borrow one of your bikinis? It slipped my mind to bring one!"
"Sure, I have a bunch here. Y/N do you need to borrow anything?" She asked you, surely just to be nice.
"Oh, no I brought everything. Thank you though." You knew there wasn't a chance that you could even fit one of your tits in anything that was in her closet.
"I guess that's our queue to start getting changed." Josh told the group gathering up the trash on the table.
You wandered up into Josh's bedroom where you left your purse and tote bag. Pulling out your swimsuit and supplies you went into the bathroom to change. Using the toilet first you heard a soft knock on the door, it was Josh. "I'm all changed so I'm going to head down awhile. Don't take too long babe, I can't wait to see you in your swimsuit."
"Okay I won't be long!" You called through the door.
Pulling on your bikini bottoms and the top you stared at yourself in his mirror. Usually this suit made you feel incredibly confident. It supported your chest just right, fabric thin enough to showcase your piercings, and had very cheeky bottoms that left little to the imagination. But today all you could focus on was how much your stomach extended. Sucking in, you twisted and turned in the mirror to inspect. Sighing you knew there was nothing you could do about it but head out there with a brave face. Reluctantly you left the safety of his bathroom and joined the rest of the group on the patio.
Looking out everyone was already in the pool. Taking a deep breath you took a step through the sliding door and you set your towel down on one of the chairs. Toeing your way to the pool you got in by the steps.
Lilly was the first one to address you, "Y/N I love your tattoos, they're so pretty!" You smiled and said thank you in acknowledgement as you took in her tiny pink string bikini she had on.
Swimming over to Josh, he held his arms out to embrace you. You placed your hands on his tanned chest, feeling the soft muscle, he wrapped his arms around you gripping his hands on your bare ass cheeks.
Growling into your ear," You look stunning. Did you pick this one to tease me? I got hard instantly when I saw you." Josh confessed pressing his hips into yours feeling his arousal.
Pressing your lips to his ear, nipping his lobe with your teeth, playing with the little silver hoop. You felt him shudder under your touch," Joshy, you're insatiable."
"I can't help it." He whined.
"Hey! No fucking in the pool!" Sam yelled at you and Josh.
Laughing Jake chimed in," Trust me, you'd know if they were fucking."
You looked up at Josh, laughing," We're never living that down are we?"
"Not a chance."
You all swam the afternoon away, only stopping to grab more White Claws from the fridge. Despite your reservations you ended up having a wonderful time with Josh and his family.
Peeling off your wet bathing suits, you and Josh climb into his spacious shower.
You pumped some of his body wash into your hands and started rubbing it on his body.
He groaned into your touch," I love your hands on me."
"Ditto."
His head was leaned back, letting his hair rinse in the hot stream of water. He looked sinful. Your eyes scanned the body of the beautiful man in front of you, down to the heavy cock resting between his legs. Sliding your soapy hands down to grasp him you felt him get fully hard in your hand. Gently you washed him, twisting your wrist and increasing the pressure of your hand.
"Fuck that feels good."
Your eyes flicked to his face, and you found that he was now watching your hand stroke him.
"Can I suck on it?" You asked, batting your eyelashes.
"Please, I need to feel your mouth around me."
You sunk to your knees letting the stream of water rinse the bubbles off his skin.
He stepped forward so the water was now cascading down his back, and you opened your mouth and held out your tongue. You felt his hot length heavy on your tongue as you licked at the underside of his cock. Slowly you bobbed your head down his length taking as much as you could, wrapping your hand around what wouldn't fit.
"Jesus Christ, you feel like heaven everywhere."
Tightening your throat he moaned loudly, echoing in the shower.
You pulled off of him, just enough to tell him that you want him to fuck your throat.
Wordlessly Josh threaded his fingers in your wet hair and thrusted himself as deep as your throat would allow.
Steadily you took deep breaths through your nose, letting him use your mouth to get himself off. Drool was dripping out of the corners of your mouth, sliding down your chest. It was lewd, him using you as nothing more than a breathing Fleshlight. You loved it. If you weren't in the shower there would have been a pool of arousal beneath your thighs.
His thrusts were getting sloppy, and you reached your hand down to rub your throbbing clit. You wanted to orgasm with him.
Whining he gasped," I'm so close."
You moaned around his length agreeing with him.
The most sinful sounding groan erupted from his chest as you felt his hot load fill your mouth.
Moaning as he came you felt euphoria wash over you, coming undone over the sight of him.
You showed him his mess on your tongue before swallowing it.
"So fucking hot." He muttered out of breath from his exertions.
Once you both got cleaned up again and got out of the shower you saw him looking at you with an interesting expression on his face.
Wrapping a towel around you," What's up? What's wrong?"
"Nothing is wrong, I'm just being selfish. I uh, I want to ask you to stay with me tonight. In my bed."
"I have to work in the morning."
"I figured as much." He said reaching for the comb and leave in conditioner for his curls.
"But, I'll stay. I'll just have to set an earlier alarm so I can stop at home and get my uniform."
"Yeah?" He asked, eyes sparkling.
"How could I say no to that face?" You told him cupping his cheeks in your hands
He went straight to his dresser and searched through his drawer of oversized t shirts, landing on a well loved one for you to sleep in.
Slipping under his sheets you curled up on his chest, basking in comfort.
With his arms around you, you felt totally at ease with him. He was the embodiment of comfort. He made you feel beautiful and sexy and wanted in the short time you have spent with him. Laying against him you silently decided to continue seeing Josh, despite the whirlwind romance this weekend had become. He reminded you of your favorite drink, an iced vanilla chai latte with oat milk.
Fin.

Bread on Toast - A Future Man Fanfiction
Josh Futturman and his fellow coworker and best friend, Liv Branson, get roped into saving the world as time traveling saviors with, what were thought to be, video game characters, Wolf and Tiger. Not only are Liv and Josh completely incompetent, but they are also emotionally inept- will this cause the destruction of mankind? Only time will tell.
Warnings: strong language, Liv and Josh try nitrous, Josh does NOT try to bang his mom, sexual innuendos
Chapter 9: Operation: Natal Attraction
As soon as Josh and Liv had turned the corner onto the neighboring street by Kronish’s house they stopped to catch their breath.
“Can I see the bag, Liv?” Josh panted, holding out his hand. Across the street, a lady walking her dog shot the two of them a nasty look. “Have a good day, lady.” Josh called to her. He dug through the bag and paused. He dug through it again. He looked panicked as his face went pale. He knelt on the sidewalk, putting the bag down and rummaged through it again, pulling pieces of lingerie out.
“What’s wrong?” Liv asked.
“…did you drop my clothes?” Josh asked, looking up at her.
“I don’t remember.” She whispered.
“…fuck.”
The plan was to go to Josh’s house and nab the gun that hung on the Futturman family kitchen wall. Josh pulled out a pink robe to try and cover up the lingerie. He contracted many weird looks and comments and they walked to his house. Josh didn’t realize how far his house would be on foot from Kronish’s. They eventually approached a gas station on the corner of a street.
“Can we stop at that 7/11 and try to get this makeup off?” Josh asked.
Josh had Liv come into the family bathroom with him to get the makeup off. She scrubbed his lips and eyes with wet paper towels, giving him an apologetic smile at the sight of his miserable look. It worked well enough. They walked out of the bathroom together, and the teenage boy who worked the counter stared at them.
“It was a dare.” Josh said in an annoyed voice. “Take a picture, it’ll last longer.”
“You and your boyfriend are weird.” The boy said to Liv as they walked out the door. As the sliding door closed behind them, Josh and Liv looked at each other shyly, blushing.
“So…” Josh wrapped the robe tighter around him. “Are we going to address the elephant in the room?” He asked as they continued their trek.
“I guess we have to.” Liv shoved her hands in her back pockets.
“So. We kissed.”
“We did.”
“And you like me.”
“Yes.”
“Can I ask how long you’ve liked me?” Josh asked.
“Since the day I met you.” Liv admitted.
Josh stopped in his tracks. “Really?”
“Why is that so crazy?” Liv asked, giggling slightly at how shocked he seemed by that.
“I remember the day we met very well, and I went home and hoped you didn’t think I was annoying.” Josh laughed. “I went home and told my parents all about you.”
“Yeah, I know, I think your mom brings it up every other time she sees me.” Liv giggled.
“Since the day you met me you’ve liked me?” Josh asked, smiling widely.
“Yeah.” Liv was grinning shyly. “Do…do you…?”
Josh blushed, realizing what she was asking. “Well, I asked to kiss you didn’t I?” He looked back over at her. “I like you, Liv.” Josh admitted out loud. And it wasn’t scary. In fact he was so sure of it.
Liv paused, stopping in her tracks with a wide, goofy grin. Hearing it made her wonder if it was a dream. A dream she’d had before too. Maybe Wolf and Sigorn-E had been right, he wouldn’t be weirded out if he knew. Her body coursed with adrenaline as she continued walking with him. “Really?”
“Do you think if we sneak into my house I’ll get beat up again? Oh wait, you weren’t there for that, never mind.” Josh derailed the conversation.
“Josh!” Liv laughed, hitting him with the bag.
“Sorry, sorry! Just thinking out loud.” He laughed along with her. As they walked and talked, their hands brushed, neither one of them making a move, but neither one of them moving away either.
“…wait, so you’re telling me you never took a date to the Kronish Ball because you were always hoping that I would ask you?” Josh asked in shock.
“I got asked by a couple guys,” Liv confessed.
“Did you turn them all down? Who asked you?” Josh asked.
“Last year both Dr. Smith and Jeremy from HR asked me.” Liv said.
“You turned down Jeremy from HR?!” Josh gasped “Liv, he’s hot! You turned him down because you were hoping I would ask you?!”
“I told them both that I had plans to go with a friend.” She shrugged. “I think most of the lab knows I like you.”
“Liv, I’m so sorry I never asked you.” Josh said.
“We always went together though, right? At least as friends.”
“But I never asked you to go as my date.”
“I was your date for two seconds this time.” Liv gently gave him a shove.
“Oh yeah…sorry for ditching you.” Josh said sheepishly. “…oh my God…that’s why you listened to me every time I talked your ear off about ‘Biotic Wars’.”
“Now you’re getting it.” Liv teased.
“God, you must like me a lot if you let yourself endure that for years.” Josh laughed.
“It’s okay. I like listening to you talk.” Liv said simply, smiling at him. Josh’s stomach fluttered. Liv started snickering.
“What?”
“Sorry, I cannot take you seriously when you’re dressed like that.” She giggled.
Josh rolled his eyes. “Shut up, Liv.” He teased. “You love it.”
“I’ll never say.” She shrugged and pushed his shoulder, almost knocking him off balance.
It was dark by the time they approached his house. Josh checked his phone, 8:33 pm. They still had time. As they walked up to the door they heard loud music and saw colored lights flashing inside. There must have been a party going on inside. Josh looked down at his clothes.
“I can’t go in there looking like this.” He muttered.
Liv pointed up to the window that led to his room, which was cracked open. They climbed through, this time, Josh waiting for Liv to tell him he was good to climb in after her. After helping him off the desk the sat right under the window, they looked around.
“This is my Uncle Barry’s room.” Josh whispered, surveying the room. Josh accidentally backed into a small garbage can, spilling discarded papers. He dropped down to pick everything up. He picked up a job application that read “America Online ‘AOL’ application due by 4pm”.
“What is it?” Liv asked as she saw Josh’s face. He was shaking his head with a look of disappointment.
“Come on Uncle Barry,” he muttered. “Maybe if he applied for this job he wouldn’t be such a sad and lonely douche in 2017.” He showed Liv the paper.
“Damn…” Liv exhaled.
Josh set the paper on the desk and started going through Barry’s drawers. “If I find anything bad in here…” Josh mumbled, digging through Barry’s pants drawer. Liv took that as a sign to find interest in something else. It was strange to see Josh’s room not look like Josh’s room. There were no movie posters, his gaming chair wasn’t there, no evidence of Josh in the room. Josh turned around holding the ugliest pink button down with black and white triangles, a jacket with graffiti style writing all over, and black pants.
“Oh Jesus.” Liv eyed the shirt is disdain.
“Uncle Barry was never known for his style choices.” Josh sighed. After turning around and letting Josh change and helping him shove all the lingerie into the bag and hiding it under Barry’s bed, Liv and Josh snuck out of the room and tried to discreetly join the party. There were college kids everywhere. Liv sent Josh a wide eyed look as they slowly walked down the stairs, trying to remain unnoticed.
“I didn’t take Gabe to be such a party animal?” She muttered in his ear.
“Did you think it was my mom who always throws parties?” Josh asked.
“…it’s not your mom?!”
“There it is.” Josh’s voice dropped to a whisper, quickly pointing to the gun. Liv followed Josh down the stairs and amongst the party goers, heading towards the gun that was apparently mounted on the living room wall in the 80s.
“Gabe! Gabe! Gabe! Gabe!” They both heard chanting. Liv and Josh turned to the kitchen to see Gabe Futturman, on his knees, chugging alcohol being funneled into his mouth. “Futturman!” The crowd of people around him cheered.
“…Dad?” Josh breathed out. Gabe grimaced as he pulled his mouth away from the funnel, victoriously fist pumping the air.
“Yeah!” He began high fiving his friends around him.
“I’m gonna go high five my dad!” Josh whispered excitedly, making his way over.
“Wait-“ Liv hurried after Josh as he walked up to his dad with a big grin on his face.
“Hey!” Josh said as Gabe absentmindedly high fived Josh’s readied hand. “That was…radical.” Josh seemed to be in awe that his dad was actually cool.
“Thanks dude! You can’t spell ‘funnel’ without ‘fun’, am I right?” Yep, that was Gabe Futturman alright.
“Yep, you definitely are Gabe!” Josh laughed, looking at Liv.
“That’s mi nombre! Do I know you guys?” Gabe asked.
“No,” Liv said quickly.
Josh was looking at Gabe like he was a magical creature that he’d just discovered. “No, we’ve never met.”
Gabe studied them. “I dunno, there’s something familiar about you,” he pointed at Josh. “Especially you, you sure we didn’t go to middle school together or something? What’s your name?”
“J-Joosh.” Josh lied. Liv puffed out her cheeks as she tried not to laugh. “Joosh.” He repeated.
“Joosh, your name’s Joosh.” Gabe said, shaking Josh’s hand, saying that as if he almost didn’t believe him.
“Yes. My name is Joosh.” Liv could see the immediate regret in his face.
“And you are?” Gabe turned to Liv.
“Liv.” She said, shaking Gabe’s hand too.
“Wow, you guys rule!” Gabe said excitedly. “We’re gonna go get high.”
“What?” Josh grinned in shock. “You- you don’t get high?”
“That’s right, I stay high.” Gabe grinned. “You guys in?”
“Wow, uh, you know there is nothing I would rather do than stay and party with you but…” he glanced at Liv. “We’ve got somewhere we need to be…”
“Hey man, no worries. My door is always open. This is a Futturman house! That means it’s a,” Gabe did a goofy little dance with his shoulders. “Party house, okay?” He gave Liv and Josh pats on the shoulders. “You can come by anytime!” He walked away to rejoin some friends.
Josh turned his body to watch his dad walk away. “You wanna stay for a bit, don’t you?” Liv said.
“We’ve got time.” He muttered. It was only close to 9. The marina wasn’t too far from Josh’s house. “We’ve got some time, actually!” Josh called out to Gabe. “We would love to stay and party with you.” He turned to Liv. “I mean, if you want to.”
“Sure, why not.” Liv giggled.
“Get over here, new friends.” Gabe waved them over.
“Okay!” Liv followed Josh as he excitedly walked to his dad.
“I like your coat.” Gabe complimented Josh. “What is that, French or something?” He tried reading the writing on the coat.
“He just got it today, actually!” Liv said, sitting on the couch in between Gabe and Josh.
“You guys ever tried nitrous?”
Nitrous made Liv’s brain feel like it turned into a puddle. She bravely was the first to try it, her eyes immediately fluttering as she said, “What is this stuff?” Her voice came out low as she giggled. “Feels like my brain just orgasmed.” Gabe burst out laughing, clapping his hands. Liv saw Josh’s eyes glaze over at her reaction, shifting on the couch.
“My turn! My turn!” Gabe took the mask from her and deeply inhaled. “Joosh, I am your father.” He said in a deep voice.
Liv cackled as Josh let out a flustered laugh. “Ahhh, you are, you really are.”
“Try it Joosh,” Gabe held out the mask.
“It’s crazy Jo- Joosh, you have to try it.” Liv said. Josh looked hesitant at first, glancing between Liv and his dad.
“Uhhhh…you know what? You taught me to ride a bike, I trust you.” Josh grabbed the mask from Gabe’s extended hand.
“Joosh!” Gabe cheered.
“Yeah Joosh!” Liv gave him a teasing grin. Everyone started chanting his fake name. Josh took a deep inhale of nitrous, quickly pulling the mask from his face.
“The Joosh is loose!” Gabe cheered.
Josh’s head rolled back and it hit the couch as he spoke in a deep voice. “My brain melted.” He giggled deeply. Liv giggled and rested her head on his shoulder, leaning back on the couch.
“Shit’s gnarly, right? I made Barry steal it from dentist school.” Gabe said, looking over at a guy who was pulling the tape out of a cassette and laughing, amused by the destruction. Josh bolted upright, making Liv’s head fall off of his shoulder.
“Barry?” He looked nothing like the Uncle Barry they both knew, but he sure acted like him. “He’s in dentist school?”
“Was. Big was.” Gabe looked back over at Barry. “Yeah, he got kicked out for ganking the nitrous.” He pointed to the tank. “You’d have to be crazy to let that kid anywhere near your teeth with a drill.” He looked back at Josh and Liv. “I wouldn’t let him near drywall with a drill.”
“Sometimes Gabe, people get better at things. Maybe give him a little more time and maybe he’ll change.” Josh said. His dad and Barry had always had a rocky relationship and he hoped maybe he could soften it. “People change!” He said. “Big, big changes!”
“I hope not for me! My life is perfect right now. Why would I change a thing?” Gabe scoffed.
“Well, for example…what if you had a child-“
“Ha! A kid?”
Josh’s face fell. “Yeah?”
“I’m this close to getting snipped. Barry’s got a friend in med school who says he’ll do it for free if he can practice on me.” Gabe said. Liv turned her head so Gabe couldn’t see and gave Josh the widest, most panicked eyes.
“Oh! Um! You know what, that- that seems like a decision I shouldn’t influence!” Josh gulped. “I’m sure- I’m sure you’ll make the right choice…uh…”
“So you two,” Gabe propped his elbow up on the back of the couch. “What’s your whole deal? Boyfriend/girlfriend? The rooms upstairs are available for any couples who wanna sneak off.” Gabe elbowed Liv’s arm, winking. Josh and Liv went bright red.
“Oh! We’re-“
“Liv and I- uh-“
They both searched for the right words. They couldn’t call each other friends, that put them back in the friend zone, and they definitely had crossed that zone…but they weren’t really dating either…yet.
“Oh…” Gabe chuckled. “I see, it’s complicated huh?” He reached over Liv and patted Josh’s knee. “Something about Futturman house parties is that they have a way of bringing people together.” He winked at them and stood up, walking back to the kitchen.
“It’s true.” Josh whispered to her. “My parents met at a college party.”
“Hello, cupcakes.” They heard Gabe slowly drawl from behind them. They turned to see two girls walking in and looking around, holding a pan of cupcakes.
“Cupcake?” Liv hit Josh’s arm. “Josh, that’s your mom!” She pointed to the blonde girl with the cupcakes.
Barry was trying to haul the heavy nitrous tank away from them. Josh stood up from the couch to talk to him, Liv followed. “Unc- Barry? Who are those two girls?” Josh asked.
Barry swept his long hair out of his face. “Uhhh,” he held the mask up to his mouth. “I think those are Richie’s friends, Vanessa and Diane. They’re hot.”
“Diane!” Liv and Josh excitedly hit each other.
“Oh my God, tonight is Richie’s birthday, the night of the flaming sombrero! This is the night my parents meet.” Josh nodded in the direction of a man lighting a cigarette, lighter dangerously close to his giant sombrero that hung low on his head.
“Dude,” Barry’s voice was exceptionally low now, having inhaled the nitrous. “Your parents never met? That’s fucked up.”
“You’re fucked up.” Liv deadpanned.
Barry excitedly grabbed Josh’s elbow. “No way dude! I have this same jacket!”
Josh slowly turned to look at his uncle. “Barry. What’s your plan?” He asked like a high school counselor.
Barry giggled, drunk and brain loopy from the nitrous. “I dunno, finish this and then humiliate myself in front of some women?” He glanced at Liv. “Wanna be one of them?”
“Eat shit, Barry.” Liv scowled. Barry had always been a jackass.
“Barry. You need to get that AOL application and apply for that job.” Josh said seriously.
Barry blinked a couple times, shocked. “How’d you know about that?”
“I went through your garbage.” Josh said.
“It’s something he does.” Liv said.
“But there’s no money in that, man.” Barry complained. “I mean, what, it’s like stock options, what am I-? What good is that gonna do for me?”
“Barry, we have to go, but listen to me and listen good. You need to apply for that job, take those options, and get the fuck out before 4.0. Trust me.” Josh brushed past Barry, who looked surprised by what had just happened.
“I’d trust him if I were you.” Liv said, stepping around him to follow Josh. She realized where Josh was headed; to his dad and Vanessa and his mom.
“Hey guys, what’s going on?” He stepped in between his parents, throwing his arms around them. “Okay, so, here’s the sitch, Liv and I’ve gotta head, but we couldn’t help but notice that we really like what we’re seeing here.” He looked between his parents. “Right Liv?”
Liv stood in front of them awkwardly, nodding. “Mhm!” What the fuck was he doing?!
“You are just the most beautiful thing!” He complimented his mom. “You have the smoothest skin I've ever seen. Your skin is like…an angel’s bottom.”
“Oh…thanks!” Diane smiled. Liv stared at him.
“Have you ever been in a moment where time just freezes and everything seems perfect?” Gabe and Diane looked at each other and then back to Josh, who was dreamily looking back between his parents, clearly convincing himself he was creating a romantic scenario for them.
“It’s his first time doing nitrous.” Gabe explained to Diane, who just giggled.
“It is. But! Not the nitrous talking my friends, you two are perfect.” He looked at Liv. “Right Liv?”
Liv wanted to drag Josh away. She couldn’t figure out why Josh was trying to set his parents up with each other. They were bound to end up together anyways. “Yeah.” She crossed her arms.
“What about me?” The other girl with brown hair, Vanessa, asked.
“Yeah, sure, you’re fine.” Josh said dismissively. “But this one,” he looked at Diane. “Gabey, this is the one right here. This is the kind of woman you have to hang on to, and never, ever let go of.” Liv saw Josh’s eyes flick over to her multiple times, making her body feel warm. “The kind of woman that could change your life.” Gabe and Diane shared a moment, looking at each other. “Alright,” Josh unattached himself from them. “We’ve got a boat to catch, Joosh and Liv out!” He called.
Finally. Liv turned on her heel and walked towards the gun on the wall with Josh.
“Wait!” Diane pranced after them, making them turn around. Liv looked slightly annoyed. “I like boats.” She eyed Josh flirtatiously. “Maybe I could change your life.” She grabbed his hand. Josh pulled his hand away, looking horrified. Liv stepped closer to him, pressing her body into Josh.
“That’s not happening.” Liv said sharply.
“No! No! No, no, no! I’m too smart to fall into that old trap,” Josh frantically shook his head at his mom. “You need to come with me young lady.” He sounded like such a dad. He pulled away from Liv to try and drag Diane back over to Gabe.
“Ugh! Chill out, Jesus Christ!” Diane slapped his hand away from her arm.
“Yes, that’s more like it. You’re supposed to think I’m repulsive.” Josh looked over at his dad to see him standing way too close to Vanesssa.
“What, no!” Liv was right next to Josh again, watching together as Vanessa touched Gabe’s forearm. “What have you done?” She looked at Diane, who looked annoyed and confused. She saw her friend talking to Gabe flirtatiously and her face brightened.
“Oh God, they’re adorable! Bet that’s the last we’re gonna see of them tonight.” She tittered.
“Liv, what do I do? I’m Back to the Future-ing myself.” Josh panicked.
Liv pursed her lips. “Okay, talk to your d- Gabe, I’ll talk to the girls.”
“Okay.” Josh nodded, sounding nervous. Liv dragged Diane over to Vanessa and Gabe. “Hey Gabe, can I steal you for a sec? Okay, awesome.” Josh pulled his dad away and Gabe looked confused. Vanessa and Diane eyed Liv as she stood in between them.
“What’s the deal?” Vanessa asked. “I was talking to him.”
“Hello ladies.” She said awkwardly.
“Who’s he?” Vanessa asked.
“Gabe?”
“No, your boyfriend.”
“Not my boyfriend.”
“Oh! Perfect!” Diane leaned against the table. Liv looked up at her with concerned eyes.
Liv looked between them uncomfortably. “Gabe sure is cool though, right?” She said in a high, uncomfortable voice. They weren’t here to talk about Josh, she was there to fix the fact that Josh might not exist if Gabe talked to the wrong girl.
Diane looked over at Gabe and giggled. “Oh, I dunno, he’s pretty cute too.” She blushed. Yes! Okay, this was working!
Vanessa linked her arm through Liv’s and spoke to Diane. “You can have him if I can have, what’s his name? Joosh?” Liv’s eyes widened and jealousy brewed inside of her. She slowly turned her head to look at her. Vanessa saw Liv’s face and lightly hit her shoulder, giggling up a storm with Diane. Liv loved Diane Futturman, saw her as a second mother, but college Diane and her friend Vanessa were annoying as hell.
“What? Do you want him?” Diane linked her arm through Liv’s other arm. She’d never felt so trapped and uncomfortable in a non-threatening situation.
“Oh my God! She does!” Vanessa tittered. “What’s your name?”
“Liv.” She said uncomfortably.
“Liv,” Vanessa gave Liv a small hip bump. “Well, you better go and get that boy or I might steal him from you!” Diane and Vanessa dissolved into giggles. “He’s so cute and mysterious, I’ve never seen him around here before.” She lowered her voice and said in Liv’s ear, “So, if you dont fuck him, I will-“
“Okay!” Liv said loudly, breaking away from the two girls. “Lovely chat! I think that’s enough Vanessa-“ she said to Vanessa.
“Vanessa? Oh!” She giggled and pointed to Diane. “She’s Vanessa, I’m Diane!”
“Yeah, I’m Vanessa!” They giggled. “This happens all the time, we’re so close that people always get us mixed up.”
Liv’s brain shutdown. Diane. Vanessa was Diane. SHE JUST TOLD ME SHE WANTS TO FUCK HER SON?!?!?! Liv’s brain shrieked. “Oh!” Her voice came out strangled. “Um! Be right back.” She spun around and marched towards Josh and Gabe.
Meanwhile, in the time Liv was chatting up the girls, Josh had pulled Gabe over by the couch. “I was kinda in the middle of a thing, Joosh-“
“That’s okay, just one quick moment of your time.” Josh placed a hand on Gabe’s shoulder. “I know we just met and this might seem a bit weird to you, but trust me I’m really, really good with these kinds of things. Liv and I are like, we share a brain, okay? We were just talking with her,” he pointed to his mom, or who he thought was his mom. “And we think that you two would be just a dream together. Absolutely perfect, okay?”
Gabe shook his head and gave a lopsided grin as he glanced over at “Diane”.
“I don’t know if it’s just your energies, or your vibes, or something, but it’s, like, a romance written in the stars!”
“You think so?” Gabe blushed as he looked at “Diane”. “She is really pretty…”
“Yes! And! She totally seems into you too!” Josh said excitedly. “Trust me Gabe, the way you two looked at each other, the earth stopped spinning for a moment.”
“Well, it’ll also stop spinning when I’m finger blasting her in the laundry room-“
“Oh my God, dad! No!” Josh was horrified.
“Doing the big one in the-“ Gabe just kept going.
“No! Just stop! You went from stars to the fucking gutter. She’s a lady, you’ve gotta treat her like one.” Josh patted his dad’s shoulder.
“…did you call me ‘dad’?” Gabe finally realized.
“No. I didn’t.” Josh shook his head. Liv came marching over and grabbed Josh’s arm, pulling him away roughly.
“Yeah! Woo!” Vanessa and Diane were cheering. “Get him!”
“Hey, rooms are free upstairs!” Gabe teasingly called after them as Liv dragged him all the way to the corner of the living room.
“Liv, what-“
“That’s not your mom.” Liv said. “The blonde? Not your mom, she is.” She pointed to the real Diane.
Josh’s eyes were so wide Liv thought they might fall out of his head. “What?! How do you know?”
“She told me that she’s Diane after I called her Vanessa.” Liv huffed. “What time is it?”
Josh looked at his phone. 9:17. They still had time. “Okay, uh, uh, what do we do? Am- am I disappearing? Is my existence stopping?” Josh was panicking.
“Josh, you’re fine. Calm down.” She hissed. She turned around to see Gabe had both Diane and Vanessa draped over him. “Talk to your dad again.”
“And what? Tell him I changed my mind and he and other girl would be better together?” Josh asked anxiously.
“Sure, I don’t care, just get him to talk to her. And she’s Diane, not ‘other girl’.”
Josh sighed. “You have to tell him with me.”
“Fine. I don’t want to talk to your mom and your friend again.” She shuddered.
“What? What happened?” Josh asked, looking concerned.
“Nothing. It was just weird.” She didn’t feel like telling him his mom thought he was attractive. It truly was the plot of Back to the Future. “Hey Gabe!” Liv waved him over. Gabe looked more annoyed this time and pulled away from the two girls. He sauntered over.
“What?” He asked, trying to hide the fact he was severely annoyed with them right now.
“Hey, so, Diane, she’s pretty…cool?” Josh started awkwardly.
“What is it this time?” Gabe folded his arms.
“So here’s the thing,” Liv jumped in. “We got her confused with Vanessa-“
“Yeah, earlier when I told you Liv and I shared a brain, we both were thinking of Diane, but we thought Vanessa was Diane.” They both laughed awkwardly.
“…huh?”
“You should go get with Diane.” Liv stated plainly.
“But, Van-“
“Yeah, she’s cool, but she was telling me about some other guy and…” Liv shrugged and made a “you know what I mean” face. “Diane, is really sweet. And funny. And she makes an amazing seven layer bean dip.”
“She does!” Josh chimed in.
“Well…I do like bean dip.” Gabe considered. “Listen, I appreciate the matchmaker thing you two have going on, but I am going to head back over and talk to the two pretty ladies and decide for myself.” Gabe gave them a sly grin. “Who knows? Maybe I’ll end up with both in my bed tonight?”
“Oh…God…” Josh shuddered as his dad walked back over to Diane and Vanessa.
“Well…we tried.”
“Liv, I might stop existing.”
“Eh, maybe you’ll just have a different mom in the future.” She lightly hit his chest with the back of her hand. “Do you wanna leave right now, or, do you wanna stay? Or?”
Josh looked around and sighed. “Can we stick around to see if my parents hit it off at least?”
“Yeah,” Liv nodded. She knew now he was stressed. “You sure you don’t trust nature to just take its course?”
“I think I might have accidentally fucked everything up.”
“That’s what happens when you meddle, Futturman.” She teased, tugging his shirt collar. Josh immediately flushed a dark red.
“You wanna do nitrous again?”
“Um, you know what, I think I’m okay. Let’s stay for 25 more minutes.” Josh saw Liv’s eyes wander over to the table with alcohol on it. “And let’s not drink. We need to be able to walk.”
Liv playfully rolled her eyes, grabbing his hands and leading him back over to the couch they were sitting on earlier. As they sat down, Barry plopped next to them. Great.
“Liv?” He asked, clearly very drunk. “That’s your name right? I heard you tell Vanessa and Diane. Do you wanna…go upstairs with me?” He insinuated.
Liv felt Josh tense next to her. “No Barry, I don’t want to go upstairs with you. Like at all.” She felt Josh’s arm slide around her shoulders, pulling her against his side.
Barry let out a noisy sigh. “No one ever does.” He groaned.
“Maybe that’s ‘cause you’re an asshole, Barry.” Josh said as Barry stood up and sauntered away. Liv turned to look at Josh.
“Oh God, you’re jealous.” She teased, poking him in the side playfully. Josh never moved his arm, it stayed lazily wrapped around her shoulders.
“Oh you mean like you were when Vanessa tried to flirt with me earlier?” He teased back.
“I thought she was your mom!” Liv giggled defensively.
“You pressed yourself against me.” Josh laughed.
“Yeah? Well you liked it.” She said, flirtatiously. Her heart and her stomach fluttered as she openly flirted with him.
“Oh, you mean like you liking the sight of me in lingerie?” He smirked as he leaned back on the couch. The sexual tension between them was thickening like it had back in Kronish’s bedroom, only this time, they were openly flirting and teasing each other. Oh, they wanted each other so badly. The music loudly played over the stereo as they talked, playing “Can’t Fight This Feeling” by REO Speedwagon.
“Hm,” Liv pretended to think about it. “Well, I guess you looked okay.” Josh had a dorky, “I knew it” smirk on his face. “But you were jealous.” She said in a singsong voice.
“Maybe I was.” Josh said in the same tone, looking smug. “Maybe I was jealous because all the guys at this party have been checking you out.”
“Have they?”
“Oh yeah,” Josh rolled his eyes. He really was jealous.
“Awww, poor Joshy.” She fake pouted and tapped his nose. “It sucks when your best friend is so beautiful.”
“You're not just my best friend.” He said in a low voice. Their faces were inches apart again. Liv was practically in Josh’s lap.
“Then what are we?” Liv whispered.
“I dunno, we’ve definitely overstepped the friendship line, but I don’t know when is too soon to ask you out, so I guess we’re kinda just in this awkward-“
“Shut up, Josh.” Liv breathed out as her lips crashed into his desperately. Josh’s lips excitedly reciprocated the kiss just as desperately as hers, like he was dying of thirst and she was water. Liv melted. No one had ever kissed her with this kind of passion, this kind of desperation, it was magical. He pulled Liv all the way into his lap as they couldn’t get enough of each other. No one else at the party paid any mind to them, as there were several other couples scattered along the house doing the same. Well, no one minded except for Gabe.
“Yes! Go Joosh!” He cheered as the song kept loudly playing, becoming the soundtrack to their first actual kiss. Josh and Liv didn’t break away, instead they both grinned into the kiss, Liv bringing her hands up to Josh’s jaw and trying to pull him in closer, if that were even possible. Josh’s tongue snuck into her mouth, and Liv melted in his lap again. His hands were rubbing up and down her back, Liv’s thumbs lightly rubbed the stubble on his jaw. Josh pulled away slightly to catch his breath, lips still brushing.
“Have I ever told you I love this song?” He grinned even wider.
“You’re stupid.” Liv grabbed him by the shirt collar and smashed their lips together again. Josh’s hand ran up her back to the nape of her neck, pulling away slightly.
“You know, the rooms upstairs are available.” Josh whispered.
Josh kicked open the door to what would one day be his parents room, but was currently his dad’s. It was dark and no one was in there.
“What time is it?” Liv asked, face flushed.
“We’ve got time.” Josh assured her and gave her a quick kiss. “I promise.”
“15 minutes.” Liv said to him as he wrapped his arms around her waist.
“15 minutes.” Josh repeated, a dopey smile crossing his lips. “16?”
“Shut up,” Liv gave him a deep kiss. “We’ve got places to be.”
“I never wanna stop kissing you, Liv.”
Kiss.
“You’re gonna distract me, Josh.”
Kiss.
“God, Tiger’s gonna kill me.”
Kiss. Kiss. Kiss. Liv giggled into Josh’s mouth as he pulled her with him to the bed and she got in his lap again. Josh gave her soft kisses all over her face, Liv scrunched her nose. Josh chuckled at her face as he planted a soft kiss on her lips.
“Is this happening for real?” She asked, practically glowing in the moonlight shining through the window.
“I should be asking the same thing.” Josh looked up at her with those hazel puppy dog eyes. God. “Hachi machi…”
She made a face. “Please don’t say that ever again.” Liv giggled as he kissed her again lightly, lips traveling over her cheek and down her neck. It was another moment where Biotics weren’t a concern and the weight of the world wasn’t on their shoulders. It was just Liv and Josh together, falling in love. Finally. The feeling of Josh’s lips kissing down her neck was addicting, and she never wanted the moment to end. She balled his jacket in her fists as she let out flustered giggles. She could feel Josh grin as he searched with his lips for any spot on her neck that would make her react the way he wanted her to. His hands slid over her hips, pulling her closer to him.
“Josh?” Liv giggled.
“Hm?”
“Why do you have a fucking lightsaber in your pants?”
Josh pulled back in shock, blushing and laughing. “Oh, uh, sorry…”
“No, it’s okay, it’s just,” she glanced down. “Holy shit?!”
Josh looked down too. “Jesus Christ!” He was in just as much shock. “Way to go Wolf!” Josh hadn’t been lying when he said that this dick was huge.
“You’ll have to show me that sometime.” She whispered slyly in his ear, playing with the collar of his shirt. Josh looked at her with the most shocked and horny look.
“Really…?”
“Yeah…” Liv slowly and sensually kissed him again, tangling her hands into his hair. Josh let out a small moan against her lips. Liv faltered. “Jesus…” she mumbled, grinning against his lips. Josh let his fingers shyly graze up under the back of her shirt.
The door opened, making Liv and Josh look over Liv’s shoulder and freeze. Gabe and Diane’s flirty giggles stopped as they realized the room was occupied.
“Oh! Joosh, Liv! Didn’t realize you were in here.” Gabe said, arm wrapped around Diane’s waist.
“Oh!” Liv scrambled off of Josh’s lap. “Uh, that’s okay, we were just leaving.” She pulled Josh to his feet.
“Diane and I were just…we were coming up here to clean the cupcake off of her.” Gabe stammered, pointing to the frosting mess that decorated her shirt. Yeah, okay, “cleaning”.
“Cupcake…” Josh mumbled under his breath.
“Oh…okay!” Liv said, awkwardly standing in front of Josh, hiding the obvious sign in Josh’s pants that they’d been doing nefarious activities.
“We’ve gotta leave for real this time, it was really nice to meet you Gabe.” Josh said, nudging Liv to head towards the door.
“Likewise,” Gabe said, grinning.
“Oh, well, hopefully we’ll see you guys again, Joosh and Liv.” Diane said as they awkwardly shuffled past them as they exited.
“Oh…you will…” Liv gave Diane a small smile. “I’m pretty sure we will.”
Gabe slapped Josh on the back as he walked past, holding his fist out for a fist bump. “Nice score, Joosh.” Josh awkwardly fist bumped his dad.
“Thanks…bye…” he nudged Liv down the stairs. “I can’t believe my parents just caught us…making out…” he said in disbelief. “And I think my dad just encouraged it.”
“So, your parents are okay!” Liv said excitedly.
“Yeah,” Josh let out a relieved sigh. “They’re okay. I’m okay.”
Liv held out her hand to stop him. “Gun.” She reminded him, staring at it on the wall. “You get it. I’m against guns.”
Josh looked at her and then at the gun. “And I’m not?!”
“If you get it I’ll give you a kiss.”
Josh let out a heavy sigh. “I can’t believe the chokehold you have on me right now.” He muttered. Josh moved from point A (his spot next to Liv) to point B (the mounted gun) as if he were trying to be a ninja. As Liv looked around the room, everyone seemed too drunk and high to notice or care. Josh removed it from its mount and clutched it like it was loaded and ready to fire at any moment.
As Liv casually walked out the front door, Josh sidestepped like a crab with his back against the wall all the way to the exit. “Really?” She asked, unimpressed.
“So, do I get that kiss now, or…?”
“Not while you’re holding that gun!”
“What?!”
“Put it on the ground and I’ll kiss you.”
Josh put the gun gently on the ground and looked at her excitedly. It was adorable how much he wanted to kiss her. Liv grabbed his face and gave him a big, giant kiss on the lips.
“Is this our thing now?” She giggled, pulling away to see Josh’s dopey lovesick grin.
“I think it might be, and you know who’s gonna be pissed? Tiger.” Josh said, making both of them double over laughing.
Corey Hart’s hit song “Sunglasss At Night” was all Tiger could hear. Tiger’s night had not gone down as well as Josh and Liv’s had. In fact she was trapped in Corey Hart’s dressing room inside of a giant pair of sunglasses (thanks to Wolf). She’d followed Wolf backstage after he dropped the bomb on her that he was quitting (she had to recruit some 15 year old Corey Hart fans to help her). Nothing made him want to come back. Not even Liv. She pounded against the front of it enough times she’d felt it start to loosen and open.
“I’m not dying in this fucking sunglasses hut.” She threw all of her body weight against it, almost spilling to the ground as it swung open.
Wolf exited the venue to the back where he’d left his car. He’d never returned it like Tiger, Josh, and Liv wanted him to. It was his. He leaned in through the open window of the driver's seat and grabbed the TTD, ready to destroy it. He loved it in the 80s and wanted to stay, he’d never felt so loved and wanted. Except when he was with Liv and the Futturmans. But he belonged in this era, he knew it. He held it up, ready to smash it against the hood of the car.
“No!” Tiger gave a guttural scream as she tackled Wolf to the ground. The TTD slid under the car.
“Don’t try and stop me!” He yelled, swinging a punch and nailing Tiger in the face.
“Are you trying to strand us here?” She picked up a stanchion and swung it at him. He jumped back and she hit the car instead.
“No, not the car!” He wailed as Tiger repeatedly hit it, breaking off a mirror. “Part of you wants to stay here, I know it! Why else would you take a DNA test?”
“That was a mistake!” She screamed, trying to bash both Wolf and the car as he repeatedly dodged her attempts. He picked up the bumper, which had fallen off in Tiger’s battery of the car. Their metal weapons clanged as they struck at each other. Tiger shoved him back with a heavy grunt. Wolf hit the car as he wound up to strike again, pushing the hood open with the bumper on accident. The tied up man from earlier was still in the trunk and seized the opportunity to make a run for it, going unnoticed by Tiger and Wolf. Tiger managed to hit Wolf in the face with the round base of the stanchion, making him drop the bumper as he reached for his nose in pain. He retaliated by kicking her in the stomach, sending her flying back over the car.
Tiger pulled the katana from her belt, thwipping Wolf several times across the face. He fell onto the hood of the car, leaving a trail of blood over the windshield as Tiger grabbed him, pulling him off and shoving him against a dumpster. He looked up at her, blood trails pouring down his face.
“I’m doing this for both of us.” He panted. Grabbing a brick, he readied his arm in the direction of the TTD.
“Wolf, you stupid motherfucker!” Tiger yelled, punching him and wrestling the brick from his hand. “Stand down!”
She threw him through the passenger window of the car. Grabbing a skateboard from the back, Wolf jabbed Tiger in the ribs, sliding out of the car, broken glass falling from his arms. Tiger landed one last blow to Wolf’s face as he tried to retreat back inside the car, but Tiger kicked him, sending him and the driver’s side door flying across the asphalt. Wolf laid on the door, head spinning. Tiger violently grabbed his shirt collar and pulled him up, landing several blows to his face before letting out a war cry, swinging him over her head and slamming him down to the hood of the car.
Wolf’s face was covered in blood, dripping down his back and seeping into his shirt. Tiger looked at him sadly as she limped around him as his chest heaved.
“Don’t make me keep doing this to you.” She begged.
“I don’t have any fight left in me, Tiger.” She could hear the fatigue in his gravelly voice. “But I got a taste of freedom and there’s no coming back from that.” He shook his head, tears falling from his eyes and mixing with the blood. “I’m done.” He sounded so defeated.
Tiger looked down at him. She quickly shook her head. “You can’t be done, Wolf.”
“I’m not Wolf anymore. You know what my name is.” He said, lifting his head slightly as he could hear the crowd loudly chanting “Corey! Corey! Corey!”
Tiger felt a lump form in her throat as she watched Wolf listen to the crowd cheering for Corey Hart. She didn’t want to lose him.
“You’re going to have to kill me.” He mumbled. Tiger closed her eyes to stop the tears. “Punishment for desertion is death.” He laid his arms straight out of either side of him, prepared for Tiger to plunge her katana in his chest. “Do it.” If he couldn’t live a life where he’d be happy, he didn’t want to live at all. Tiger reached for her knife, chest heaving as she felt tears stream down her face.
Elias Kronish’s heart stopped when he heard a gun cock behind his head. He dropped the full garbage sack he’d been holding out of fear.
“Come with me if you want to live. Truly live.” A voice that sounded like it was trying to be intimidating said. Kronish raised his hands.
“Look, I just-“
“Get in your car.” A woman’s voice said. “Now.”
Kronish fumbled with his car keys in his pocket as his hands began to sweat and his brain was in fight or flight mode.
“Okay, okay, I have my keys.”
“Get in and take us to the marina.” The man’s not so intimidating voice said.
“I-“ Kronish paused. “The marina?”
“The marina.” The two people said at the same time. Kronish inched over to his car, unlocking it and shakily getting in the front seat. He heard the two back doors open as his kidnappers got in.
“The prostitute?!” He cried, whipping around after seeing the man’s face in the rear view mirror.
“We don’t have time to talk about this! You’ve got to get to the marina before midnight!”
Kronish looked over at the woman. “You’re the gay porn girl!” He was shocked.
“Yeah, yes, I’m the prostitute and she’s the gay porn girl.” The gun was pointed at him again. “Drive.”
As Kronish drove, Liv felt the exceeding guilt weigh on her. Josh’s hands were trembling as he kept the gun pointed at Kronish as he shakily took every turn. When they pulled up to the marina, Kronish quickly got out of the car and Josh followed, gun still pointed at him.
“Okay, we’re here!” Kronish held his hands up defensively as Josh followed him so closely with it. “Now will you tell me who the hell you crazy people are and why you are so violently supportive of my…” Kronish whispered as he said, “…homosexual lifestyle?”
“Dr. K, you know what? We really, really tried this whole freewill thing, but it’s not as easy as it seems.” Josh said, nervously shifting back and forth, gun still raised. “So, here we are.”
“You have to get on that boat.” Liv demanded.
“How do you even know about the boat?” Kronish narrowed his eyes at her. “That was a secret plan.”
“We know everything about your secret plan. Seychelles, the conch fritters,” Josh said, making Kronish’s eyes widen. That must have been things 2017 Kronish had told Josh back in the lab. “Trust us. Your life is going to be much happier if you do that and don’t stay here with your wife.”
“You’re telling me to throw my life away.” Kronish pointed toward the boats.
“No, we’re asking you to change your life for the better.” Liv said.
“What do you know? Do you have any idea what it’s like to be a gay black man in this world?”
Josh shot a glance at Liv as he lowered the gun. “Obviously, we don’t.” He said. “Howerever-“
“Getting on that boat…I’m not just throwing my life away, I’m throwing away my career, my social life, the church-“
“Listen! Okay? The world is going to get much better for gay people!” Liv yelled.
“…sort of.” Josh added. “In some states.”
“You’ll wanna stick to the coasts- but! You have a boat! So that’s perfect!” Liv said positively.
“What do you know?” Kronish shouted. “You’re just crazy kidnappers with a gun! Help!” He cried.
Josh panicked as Kronish screamed, looking to Liv, who pried the gun from Josh’s hands and chucked it into the water. Kronish looked stunned.
“We’re not crazy!” Liv cried.
Josh squeezed his eyes shut as he blurted out, “We’re from the future.” Kronish stared at them for a moment. Then he tackled Josh to the ground.
“Josh!” Liv shrieked, jumping back. Kronish wrestled Josh into a headlock. “Dr. Kronish! Dr. Kronish! We can prove it to you!” She begged, grabbing at his arms.
“He can prove it to the sandman,” Kronish said through gritted teeth. “You’re next.” He tried to push her away while still holding Josh in the headlock.
“Show him the picture you took with him, Josh!”
Josh fumbled with his phone in his pocket, dropping it to the ground as his vision went blurry. Liv dropped to her knees, picking it up and hurriedly pulling up the photos of Josh and Kronish, the blurry one, the normal one, and the silly one.
“Look! Look! That’s you and him!” Liv frantically held out the phone. A look of familiarity crossed Kronish’s face as he saw his older self. He dropped Josh to the ground, who gasped for air and rubbed his neck. Kronish reached out and grabbed Josh’s phone from her hands in shock and confusion. Liv helped Josh up, grabbing his face and making sure he was okay. He looked like he was clinging onto consciousness for dear life.
“What- what is this?” Kronish breathed out. Clinging to Liv, Josh turned and touched his phone, zooming in on the picture hanging up behind them in the photo.
“You see that?” It was a picture of the boat Leslie had gotten Kronish. “It’s that…” he pointed to the exact boat behind him. Kronish looked, eyes filled with a million emotions, fear, curiosity, confusion, excitement, all at once.
“That photo is hanging on the wall of your office in 2017.” Liv explained as Josh continued to cling to her like a koala. “We know that because we work for you.”
“We have come a very long way to try and save you.” Josh reached for his throat as he let himself take a deep breath, leaning his head against Liv’s. Kronish looked up at them and shook his head and blinked a few times, as though he were trying to wake up from a dream.
“What do you mean?” He asked.
“So you’re telling me you two have been back and forth through time, courting death just to avoid killing me?” The three of them sat on a bench, explaining everything to Kronish. Everything.
Josh slowly nodded. “Yeah. Which is why you have to get on that boat.”
“If you don’t…our colleagues will shoot you as a baby.” Liv said, bracing herself for Kronish’s reaction.
“So, my big breakthrough was possum semen?” Kronish asked. Josh and Liv were not expecting that to be his first follow up question. “Really?”
Josh shrugged. “Yeah, it’s crazy. Look, we have broken every rule of time travel by telling you this, so, please, please get on that boat.”
Kronish looked at them with a soft expression. “You’ve sacrificed so much to be here,” he smiled as he stood from the bench. “The least I could do is sail away with the love of my life and be happy forever.” He stuck out a hand to shake Josh’s hand.
Josh excitedly jumped to his feet. “Oh wow, yes! Thank you!”
He turned to Liv and shook her hand too. “For the record, I don’t film gay porn and he’s not a prostitute.” She said, making Kronish chuckle.
“I figured.” He looked at both of them. “Set sail.” He said, winking at them, remembering Josh’s advice from earlier. He approached the entrance. “Oh, Marigold still thinks I’m taking out the trash-“
“Don’t worry, we’ve got it covered.” Josh assured him. “Bon voyage Dr. K.” He sounded slightly sad.
“Safe travels.” Liv gave him a small wave. They both would miss Kronish dearly.
“Goodbye Josh, goodbye Liv.” He gave them one last smile before hyping himself up to walk through the entrance. Josh and Liv both watched with bated breath as Kronish made his way down the dock and to the boat with the title “S.S. Second Coming”. Leslie stepped off the boat as soon as he saw Kronish.
Josh leaned his head against Liv’s. “Bon voyage.” He whispered as they watched Leslie and Kronish embrace, sinking down to the dock, happiness radiating from them. Liv tightly hugged Josh as happy tears fell from her eyes.
“We did it.” She said quietly.
Josh looked at her and grinned widely. “We did. I’ve never been so relieved.” He planted a light peck on her lips. Liv stiffened as she looked at the headlights approaching behind Josh. He turned his head to look. Correction: headlight. It was Wolf’s Pontiac and it was badly beaten up. The driver’s side door was gone and only Tiger sat in the car, badly bruised with dried blood crusted under her nose. Liv untangled herself from Josh.
“What happened? Where’s Wolf?” Josh’s eyes grew concerned as he bent down to look inside the car.
“He’s gone.” Tiger said.
“Gone.” Liv repeated, eyes welling up again. “What- what do you mean?”
“He’s just- he’s gone.” Tiger stated, looking at the ground. “Don’t ask again.”
“Holy shit.” Josh muttered, looking at Liv, who was holding back tears. He looked back to Tiger, reaching out to comfort her. “Are you okay?”
She flinched away and stared down at the steering wheel. “Did you get Kronish on the boat?”
“Yeah. Yeah, I think we finally did it this time.” Josh solemnly nodded.
“Good. Now let’s go, I fuckin’ hate the 80s.” Tiger said quietly. Liv sat on Josh’s lap in the passenger seat as Tiger drove them back to the lot for sale that would have been the location for Kronish Labs. The ride was mournfully quiet. Liv silently cried as Josh rubbed her back, trying to comfort her. Wolf was gone and her heart ached. Josh caught Tiger eyeing them over and over again. She parked the car in the lot and they all quietly got out of the car and Tiger tapped away on the TTD.
“Okay, Kronish Labs was built in 1992. If my plan worked and we jump back to 2017 it won’t be there.” Josh said.
“Tell me this will all be worth it.” Tiger sighed as the TTD began to whir, firing up.
“Oh shit,” Josh looked over at Liv as he placed a hand on both her and Tiger’s shoulders. “We forgot to tell Marigold- ah whatever.” In a flash of lighting they were gone.
After a less painful time traveling trip, they landed back in 2017 to an empty lot. “Oh my God…” Josh gasped. “We did it!” He turned his head to look at Tiger and Liv. “It worked!” Liv pulled him into a hug, burying her face in his shoulder as they both laughed, relieved.
“Okay, body part check…” Liv pulled away and started patting herself down. “…I think I’m good.”
“Me too…” Josh said, doing the same. “Tiger?” Josh looked at Tiger who was staring up at something, completely horrified. Josh’s face fell. “Tiger?”
Liv's head snapped up, hearing the concern in Josh’s voice. Josh was slowly turning around, face turning white. Liv looked over her shoulder and shock coursed through her veins. A tall and menacing black building loomed over them, The Kronish Labs logo right in the middle.

hello hi good evening<3
i just remembered these exist and now i wanna climb pretty expensive inexperienced richboy vernon like a fucking tree<3 that is all<3
Sorry for taking 85 years to answer this ask. Also, your ask sent in twice so, I hope it's okay that I am answering this one instead.
Thoughts about this under the cut because I have a few of them and, I took some liberties lol.
Okay, I know you sent this in about just Vernon but, hear me out. I saw that gifset you made of him and Josh and it got me thinking.
You, Joshua and Vernon have known each other since you were in diapers. Your parents all being friends for decades and, electing to involve each other in their lives. Vernon has always been more reserved, more shy than you and Joshua. At times, you both wonder why he even hangs out with the two of you when he always looks like he'd much rather be holed up in his room fiddling with his music setup that costs more than your car.
During one of these hang outs, where Joshua had raided his parents' stock for the finest wine and whiskey they had to offer, Vernon shyly let's it slip that he's only been with one person when the topic of sex inevitably comes up. That catches you and Joshua by surprise. You both know Vernon is a handsome guy. People have been fawning over him since primary school. He must take your stunned silence as a negative reaction because before you can blink he's stumbling onto his feet in an attempt to rush out of Joshua's bedroom.
Fortunately, Josh is quicker because he grabs the younger man's hand at lightning speed. Assuring him that you weren't judging him, the two of you were just surprised. Josh shoots you a look. A look that you recognise all too well and you hop up join the two men, causing Vernon to blink at you both in confusion.
Josh offers to help him gain more experience if he'd like to, his large hand drifting from holding Vernon's to dragging a thumb along his cheek. You give him a look that you hope is equal parts reassuring and encouraging while you lace your fingers with his own, peppering kisses along his unoccupied jaw.
Fortunately, it doesn't take much for Vernon's resolve to crumble.
He moans into you, prompting you to tug on his hair and arch further into his mouth. His eager tongue lapping up all of the wetness you have to offer, surprisingly strong hands keeping your thighs spread for him while he continues to lick and slurp to his heart's content.
"You're doing so well. Isn't he such a good boy?" Joshua asks you, curling two of lube slicked his thick fingers inside of Vernon. You do feel for Vernon. You know first hand how much of a stretch Joshua's fingers provide and, how ruthless he can be. However, based on the way he swears into your pussy, you're starting to think he likes it. Or maybe he likes being treated like an object for the two of you to use to get off.
"Such a good boy," you breathe, your eyes fluttering when he latches onto your clit, his moans vibrating against you and tightening that knot in the pit of your gut again.
"You should see yourselves. Both of you," Joshua groans, his eyes dropping from you momentarily to watch the way his fingers spread Vernon open, "Already so fucked out and we've barely even started."

CHAPTER 6
After arriving at the bar, everyone gathered at a couple tables in the back of the bar, next to the pool tables, that way it wasn’t as crowded as the front area. Josh, Danny and Jake sat on one side of the table , as you and Sammy sat on the opposite. Immediately the boys started talking about the shows and ways to improve the next stop, at which you kind of zoned out. It was only when Josh spoke to you that you were brought back, “So….what do you think Y/N?” You quickly look over, and feel a blush warm your face. “Oh..Uh sorry, what did you say?”, to which he giggles before answering, “we were just discussing how you’re the best photographer we have seen so far out of all the ones we have had on tour.”
You shyly look down and shake your head quietly letting out, “O-oh that is too nice of you guys…. I’m …i’m really not that good”. Josh once again shakes his head, placing his hand on yours on top of the table, “No Y/N, we mean it you’re amazing! And i think we had already decided, and were gonna wait till monday but …” he looked between the boys waiting for their approval, and they all nod, even Jake giving his head a slight shake, “ Y/N, we want you to stay….” you look at him, your eyes growing wide, and go to say something before he cuts you off, “we want you to stay not just for the tour…but full time!”
Breaking into a huge smile, you jump up, “NO WAY!! Wait, you guys are being serious?” They all nod with huge smiles on their faces, Danny adding in, “of course! We want you to stay, you’re not allowed to leave us anymore” as he lets out a chuckle, you turn to bear hug Sammy before running around the table, hooking your arms around Josh and Danny squeezing them as tightly as you can.
As you go to pull away, you feel yourself looking for Jake out of habit, before seeing him walking away toward the bar. For the third time that night, you feel that small sense of self hatred come back. You feel someone hook an arm around your shoulder and lean his head against yours, “hey….he’s stubborn. He will come around soon.” You lean into Josh’s touch, absorbing his positive energy, hooking your hand around his waist, “did…did he even want me to stay?” Waiting for the answer felt like years, and subconsciously you held your breath, hoping it was what you needed to hear.
“He does. No matter what happened he still cares for you. He just…sometimes he’s too stubborn for his own good. And with you….everything is amplified. It’s harder for him to express his feelings.” You nod, pulling him in tighter. “Thanks Josh…for forgiving me.” He pulls away just enough to look at you and smiles widely, “Thank you for apologizing…feels good to have my best friend back” , he leans away so the other boys can hear as he says, “I was getting tired of dealing with these guys alone.” The other two roll their eyes, before also getting up to grab a drink.
The night had gone quite smoothly to your surprise, full of endless pool games and taking shots for every trick shot. The group had just finished a game, which ended with an epic showdown between Danny and Sam, with the latter coming out victorious. You had been laughing at Sam’s endless bragging, but felt the smile fall from your face as you turned to the bar to grab a drink, and saw Jake, with a very curvy blonde girl leaning completely into him. From afar, it just seemed like any normal couple, but you felt heat rise in your face as you saw the girl raise her hand to move his hair behind his ear, him leaning his face into her hand. You tried your best to ignore it, turning around to gulp down the drink you had.
Needing another one, you walk over to the bar, being sure to steer clear of the pair. “A salty dog please” you told the bartender, keeping your mind preoccupied by playing with a cocktail napkin on the counter, and succeeded until you heard a high pitched laugh come from your right. You glanced over to see the same girl leaned over laughing , with her hand on his shoulder, and Jake leaning in to whisper something in her ear. To say you were upset would be an understatement. Not only were you upset, but you felt a fire burn in your heart that you weren’t used to.
You grabbed your drink, thanking the bartender before storming off back to the table. You sat down quickly, slamming your drink on the table before gulping it down again. The boys looked at you with wide eyes. “Woah, are you okay Y/N? You never drink that much.” Danny asked looking at you with concern. “I’m fine, i don't know what you mean” You cross your arms turning to the side. You know it isn’t their fault, but you figure being short with them is better than letting your anger out on them.
Out of the corner of your eye you see Sam nudge the other boys, pointing his head toward the bar, seeing Jake. “It’s because of him isnt it?” he asks. You look over at him, not answering but looking back at Jake before turning back around. There is a little moment of silence before you decide to speak up, “I…I like him, okay? This whole…cold shoulder thing…. It was already painful enough but THIS…i can’t.”
You turn to face the table, pushing your straw around your empty glass. It felt like a weight off your shoulders telling them that, but what you weren’t ready to hear was the boys let out a giggle. You looked up at them with a hurt look on your face, “I’m sorry…what exactly is funny?” They all sit in front of you, “Y/N, we already knew that. We knew way before everything happened that you liked him…it wasn’t exactly a mystery.”
“Wait you guys already knew?” You asked exasperated.
They all nodded, with Josh leaning forward to say, “we knew since the day you came over to practice, and the only time you’d put down your books was when he asked you to.” Sammy then leans in, “or when you would come over for dinner and you’d ALWAYS choose the seat next to him”, then Danny comes in, “or my personal favorite…at our bonfires when you’d sit and watch him play his acoustic for hours…”
Hearing all of them bring up different moments brought on a sense of embarrassment that you couldn't describe. “O-oh…well why did you guys never say anything? You want me to believe you guys just gave up the chance to tease me? That doesn’t sound like you..”. Sitting up , you adjust awkwardly in your chair. Placing his hand on your knee, you hear Sam say, “we didn’t feel right doing that. We knew with your anxiety it would trigger you and we hate seeing you have an attack just as much as you hate having them.” You nod, thankful that you have friends who would think like that.
Shaking your head aggressively, you speak up, “It doesn’t matter anyways…clearly he isn't interested anymore” glancing up at the bar again, seeing Jake now has his hand around the girl's waist, and kisses her cheek. “I wouldn’t say that yet… you just gotta make him realize it for himself.” Curiously you look over to Josh. With a smirk on his face he stands up, walks over to you, and pulls you up from the chair. “Here’s the plan. I know that Jake is a very jealous guy. If you want his attention, give him a taste of his own medicine. Find a guy to flirt with! If he still likes you, he will get angry…. If he doesn’t care…then at least you can have someone to move on from him…because he doesn’t deserve you if that’s the case.”
You stand there contemplating for a second before you take one final glance at the pair and feel the anger rising again. “You know what? Yea…i am gonna let him see how it feels… and see how HE likes it.” Without even glancing back at them, you scan the bar for a guy that seems to be alone. Once you find one, you fix your outfit, pull your shirt down to show a bit more cleavage and sway your hips as you walk.
You walk up to the bar, “can i get one salty dog please?” , you ask in the sweetest, most sultry voice you can manage. You glance over at the guy, batting your eyelashes, and luckily the guy catches your eye and starts a conversation.
*****THIRD PERSON POV*******
Jake finally manages to get the girl away from him, by saying he has to join his brothers again. He knows he led her on a bit but didn't plan on seeing her ever again after tonight so it was harmless. His emotions were just too all over the place with the whole Y/N situation, he couldn’t possibly think about any other woman. He heads back over to their table, the boys just talking about the shows as he walks up, “But yea i think we should add a bit more pyro to the safari drum solo…to help fill the gap a bit” Josh goes on as Jake takes a seat. “You guys planning stuff without me?” he asks as he sits beside Sammy. Josh looks at him, “Well we couldn't wait for you all night …you were occupied” he let out the last word with a hint of venom to it.
Jake was taken aback by his tone, scrunching up his eyebrows, “Ok? Sorry i just….i needed a distraction….y/n coming back, it really messed me up” he said honestly. Josh just nods and sits silently. Jake looks around realizing someone is missing, “speaking of Y/N…where is she?” He watches as all their eyes land on a spot to the right. He looks over to see Y/N….sitting on a man’s lap. Jake does a double take as he takes in the sight in front of him. At first he just sits in silence, but then he sees the guy grab her ass as he begins to kiss up the side of her neck.
This causes him to fume, and he balls his hands into fists so hard that his knuckles are turning white. “When…how long has she been with him?” Jake asks, trying to hide the anger in his tone. Danny shakes his head with a smirk, one that Jake didn’t see with his eyes trained on Y/N, “I don't know…she went to get a drink after she saw you and that girl…and she didn’t come back.’ Jake just nods his head, “I thought she didn’t even want to come? Didn't she say she was going to stay at the table the whole night?” he asks furiously, not being able to hide it anymore, as he sees Y/N completely turn, now straddling the man. “Yea but… she was tired of having to stare at you grabbing a girl's ass all night ….so i guess she decided to distract herself.”
Then Sammy adds in, “Yea you can’t just expect her to be okay sitting here having to see that…you know she likes you”. Jake turns to Sammy and shakes his head. Letting out a sigh and rubbing his hand through his hair, Jake quietly says, “yea but i… I didn't actually like that girl. Like I said, she was just a distraction.” Once again Josh trains his eyes on the bar as he says, “well you may wanna talk to y/n soon because she isn’t gonna wait forever for you.”
Jake turns back around. Now Y/N has turned back around, and is grabbing a drink and her ass rubbing against the man's crotch. This is the final straw as Jake stands up abruptly.
*****BACK TO NORMAL POV***
The last 5 minutes have been excruciating. This guy was the actual definition of a douche, and if Jake doesn’t do anything soon, you’ll have to find a way out of this and FAST. You had been laying on the flirting thick, and you knew it. You were never one to sit in a guy's lap or be very physical without even knowing them, but remembering the anger you felt seeing Jake grab that girl's ass, fueled you every step. You had just got done straddling him, to grab a drink and were slowly grinding against his crotch, when you suddenly felt a hand tug your elbow, leading you away from the man.
You didn’t have to look to know who it was. “Hey bro, it isn’t cool to flirt with someone who is taken.” The man looked over at Jake before smirking, “she doesn’t seem taken to me…she came onto me.” Without even as much as glancing at you, he fires back quickly, “She’s drunk. Do you always take advantage of women in bars?”. The man stands up and walks toward him, and you feel Jake’s arm push you behind him. While you SHOULD be mad at him, you can't help the butterflies you feel as he moves to stand in front of you.
“Well I think you may be the problem…what? You can't get it up? That's usually why women seek out other men…if they aren't getting satisfied at home.” Jake doesn’t say a word, as the man takes another step forward and continues on, looking around at you, “you can come home with me babe, i can show you what its really like to get fucked.”
“I’m gonna give you a chance to walk away….NOW” Jake says as he balls his fist up at his side, face red from anger. You can see him visibly shaking, as the man again takes a step forward, “Ya know a whore like you needs a good fuck, clearly thats why youre throwing yourself at people” and again he steps closer, about an inch away from Jake, “you’re a slut and you deserve to be treated like one”. That’s all it takes for Jake to finally snap and it happens in a split second as you see him throw a punch landing right on the guy's nose. He falls back against the stool, cleaning off some glasses causing them to shatter on the floor. He slowly gets up and swings a punch back, Jake tries to avoid it but misses the timing slightly, and the guy catches his lip.
Before it can go any further, the security comes to rip them apart and drags them outside. You turn to look at the guys, signaling you'd be outside with Jake. You whip out your phone confirming that you'd be outside with him and to leave you two alone so you can talk. You slowly walk outside, knowing this would only lead to a fight seeing how mad Jake is, but you also couldn’t leave him without knowing he is okay. You open the door to the bar and step outside to see the guy being led to his car by security, and Jake being told to leave.
You walk up, and try to remedy the situation, “S-sir, he’s with me. I will take him home.” The man turns and asks, “He didn’t try to hurt you maam?” Jake’s eyes grow wide with rage, “WHAT THE FUCK, I WOUL–”, you cut him off before he can make it worse and softly say, “No sir, he was helping me. I promise it’s okay.” The man nods, gives Jake one last look before heading inside.
The tension between you two could be cut with a knife, yet you refused to speak. If Jake wanted to remedy the situation, he could, but you were done putting in all your emotions and effort for nothing in return. It was quiet for what felt like forever, and you had just turned around to head back inside when he finally spoke up, “what the hell were you thinking?” You turned around to see his eyes trained on you, his face still blood red, “What are you talking about?”
Jake lets out a sarcastic laugh as he walks closer to you before hissing out, “You know exactly what the fuck i’m talking about. Don’t play dumb.” WHAT did he just say?! You scoff, crossing your arms, “Excuse me? So what? Am i not allowed to flirt with anyone now?” He looks down at the ground and shakes his head, taking a deep breath, “You call that flirting? He was basically groping you the whole time. Wouldn’t exactly call that anywhere close to flirting.” Now it was your turn to laugh. You never thought you would hear these words from Jake, especially targeted toward you. “Oh and you’re any better? Because from what I recall you also were groping a girls ass and were so close it was like you were attached at the hip.”
“That is different.”, he let out dryly. “Oh? And how is that Jacob?”, you stood waiting to hear what ridiculous excuse he had. “I wasn’t interested in her. I was just talking. I wasn’t kissing her neck or shoving my crotch on her ass.” ,his words ripped through your heart like venom and for the first time tonight you felt the anger finally taking over. Taking a deep breath, you decide to fire back, digging deep. “Who said I even liked him?”, Jake went to speak again but you cut him off, “and even if I DID, what does it matter to you? You told me a day ago that you didn’t even know if you liked me.”
He walks closer, teeth gritted, and you swore if you could see steam escaping his ears you would, but still you continued, “So to be honest, you’re being a real asshole. You ask me to give you time, and i am trying, but i don’t know what you expect me to do when you constantly give me the cold shoulder and then tonight you’re all on a girl, giggling and kissing her cheek….” Now it’s his turn to cut you off, “OH so just because you like me, you expect me to just wait on you every second of the day?! I told you i needed SPACE, that means i need to not see you every damn time i turn around.”
You stand still, knowing he wasn’t done, “That girl was just a distraction, because for once I needed to stop thinking about you..ever since you came back everything is about you. What you did, was disgusting. You should’ve just went home with him because you really were acting like..” He cut himself off before he finished, and it caught your attention. “Like what, Jake? Acting like what?” you asked. At this point you were past the breaking point, feeling so much rage that you couldn’t keep your hands from shaking.
“A slut.”, as the words left his mouth, your heart shattered, but simultaneously your vision turned to red. “Wow, okay. So i flirt with a guy and i am a slut, but you do the same thing and what? It’s all good?” , you ask the last part with sarcasm raising your voice level slightly. “Because honestly Jake, if you wanna get down to it…I see you on stage. The way you lead those girls on, the way you give them false hope…that isn’t very saintly of you either. And you know what?...I have NEVER done something like what i just did. That is way out of my normal and i hated every second of it…and to think..” You turn away from him, taking a breath.
He wasn’t even worth it, and you didn’t want to make things worse by letting your feelings come out. It was very obvious now that he didn’t care. You start to walk towards the door again, but you dont get far as you feel him tug your elbow again, this time pulling you against the side of the building, pinning you with his arms on each side of your head. “What? Finish what you were gonna say.” he hisses out, leaning down so his face is mere inches away from yours.. “To think… that the only reason I did it….was to get your attention….but clearly that was the wrong choice. All it did was turn you into an even bigger asshole than you were when we got here. It was a waste of my time.” You stood firm, keeping eye contact as he stood still.
You could tell his fists had balled up again, and you started to flinch as he leaned in, “Remember our little chat about you being a brat? Seems you didn’t learn from last time.” he whispers in your ear, staying close. You could still feel the anger boiling inside you, but thinking back to that day in the bathroom had you squeezing your legs together to relieve the tension starting to build. Of course, Jake noticed this as you saw a smirk slowly grace his face, leaning so close your lips were almost touching as he breathed out, “ya know…I think you like when i call you a brat.”, you shook your head no, but still he kept going, “or when i teach you a lesson”.
He pauses briefly allowing you to speak out, “No, I actually don’t.”, you speak loudly in his face causing him to back away slightly. That doesn’t last long, though, as he leans back in this time placing his hand around your neck and pushing his knee in between your legs. He leans down, grazing his teeth against your earlobe, “You don’t have to lie. I see the way you’re squirming, the way your heart is racing….” Hearing him say that, you grind against his knee, trying to stand your ground but failing. “That’s it baby, grind that sweet pussy against my knee….I bet you’re so wet right now.”
Subconsciously you let out a soft moan, closing your eyes while trying to fight off the feelings you are having. This continues before he glances up to see your eyes closed, and squeezes your neck tighter. Feeling this you quickly lean up, looking at him again. Knowing this is a battle you are going to lose, you decide to just give in. If he wants to call you a brat, a brat is what he will get. “Ya know Jakey…You do an awful lot of talking but not alot of action…”, he narrows his eyes waiting to see what you were going to say, “maybe that guy is right…you just can’t fuck me as good as i want you to…”
Now it was your turn to smirk, as you saw him lean away, a bit taken aback by your words, before his sinister smile returned. He removes his leg from your center and releases his hands from you completely. All he says is, “That’s not what it seemed like when you were screaming my name…seemed pretty fucked out to me…”, he pulls his phone from his pocket typing a few short words, before grabbing your arm and pulling you toward the parking lot. “Jake…” , you receive no answer, “JAKE…what are you doing?” you ask, trying to pull your arm away but failing.
He says nothing as he opens the passenger side door of his car, and motions you to get in. Knowing where this is probably going, you get in, and try to hide the blush on your face as he leans in to buckle your seatbelt. Still, he doesn’t answer your question until he gets in the car and starts driving. “Jake…” you let out, and he slowly moves his hand onto your leg before saying, “I’m taking you home with me… seems like the brat needs a reminder on how to act.” All the heat goes straight to your core, and again you find yourself crossing your legs from the desire, needing any sort of friction. “B-but what about the guys? We just left them behind..”
He, again, smiles, “Don’t worry..I let them know I was dropping you off because you weren't feeling well. Told them you didn't want to be bothered for the rest of the night.” he let out dryly. “O-oh” was all you managed to say. “SO that way when you’re screaming my name and begging me to let you cum….we won’t be interrupted.” You look over at him, eyes widened from shock, “um…well…uh”.
“Oh NOW you’re speechless? Too bad. You already got way too bratty for my liking.” As he pulled into the driveway, you felt the hairs on your body stand up as you watched him get out, walk to your side of the car, and help you out. Closing the door behind you, he doesn’t bother to even look at you as he says, “Since you didn’t learn anything last time, I'll have to go harder on you….maybe we can get it through your head that you don’t get to have an attitude with me.” You stay still, unsure of what to do, but he reads your mind as he turns, looking you straight in the eyes and pointing at the door.
You give him a look, showing your confusion by his simple action. “I want you on the bed, stripped down, on your knees by the time I get upstairs. You have 30 seconds.” 10 seconds is wasted on you standing there in shock at the words you just heard. Jake had never gone to this level with you before and you didn’t realize how horny he had made you until he glanced at his watch and said, “Now you’re down to 20 seconds…do you really wanna push your luck further?”, causing a soft moan to leave your body as you turned to head into his house, already feeling your wetness pool in your underwear.

Girls Karaoke Night
(This time, to the scene from when the girls start to sing at karaoke, I recommend you guys to read this part while listening ''Gimme! Gimme! Gimme!'' by ABBA to get an enjoyable experience. Believe on me, you won't regret. 😄)
Our story begins some few months after Alex and Suzanne ended their relationship since they had a terrible fight. It was a weekend night, which it was supposed to be funny and exciting, since no school or job - Well, not to Suzanne. Even her being the most book worm that Cloverfield School knew, she wanted to have a funny night, at least.
Alex had caused her so many damage that inside, she was still a bit scared to be alone. Jill and Rose always told her about his reputation. How couldn't she listen her friends before?
"And I thought they were tryin' to ruin my relationship with him. Oooh Suzanne, how could you be so stupid? They were tryin' to protect you." She sighed while drinking some juice. Your frustration was very higher, and if it was enough she got his uglier mark on her face. She've wished she could take some knife and cut her skin off just to clean from all his dirtiness.
"No, no, Suzie. It was just a lot for your mind. Please, breath." She calmed to herself, walking right-to-left over and over until she needed to relax, however her relaxation were interrupted by the phone call.
"Hello?"
"Hi, dear!!" It came a familiar and excited voice. It was her older friend Jill. Suzanne sighed in relief and then, she grinned in response to the girl from other call line.
"Hi, Jill! How are things goin'?''
"Oh, doing great as you can imagine. Dear, Rose and me were planning to join a karaoke bar to get some food and have fun together. Would you like to join us?" Suzanne was thinking to give polite denials as excuse to studying or watching some TV, but after Jill told about saying that it would go just three of them - the blonde changed of idea and accepted the invitation. She was genuinely needing to relax and distress her mind that night.
Then, Jill explained that her and Rose would drive to take her from home to few minutes. Turned the calling off, Suzanne started to change her visual to her usual bell bottoms, high heels and her favorite blouse, then she've passed some simple makeup and brushed her long hair.
"Perfect!" She thought, praising about her look but then her eyes followed to the big scar, where Suzanne covered with her hand. "Neither makeup was enough to this crap. Damn you, Alex!" She bang her knuckle on table so loud that even her mother, Mrs. Jones could hear from living room.
"Honey, what's wrong there? Is everything okay?" She was watching some Game Show at TV while her younger sister was reading some magazine and listening any music.
"No, Mama. It was just some bug that appeared on my table and I've killed it." She said, screaming enough to Mrs. Jones hear. The older woman agreed and returned to watch her favorite show. Suzanne decided to make the last check to make sure that she's looking decent, at least. Then she finished to brushing her hair and sprayed some perfume around - Outside, the beep-beep could be heard throught window. Jill was pushing the horn many times, excited to take her friend. Suzanne waved back and went downstairs, saying goodbye both to her mother and sister.
"Wow, Miss Jones!! You're looking incredible!!" Said Jill in high tone, completely cheerful about the blonde girl.
"Do you think so?" Suzanne blushed shyly.
"Girl, you'll gonna kill it!" Exclaimed Rose, who was also smoking some cigarette as Jill. Suzanne laughed from her friends's praises and entered to Jill's car - the brunette girl played some random songs until they drove to "Josh Berry's Karaoke Bar", a new restaurant bar that turned popular between single and young people after the manager brought some karaoke session and gave more opportunity to newer bands as stairway to musical success.
"Here we came, girls!" Said Jill. The place were filled from dancing people and a lot of upbeat and disco music, Jill parked her automobile next from others four cars from primary colors as red, blue, light blue and yellow. The trio left the car and went in to the local. Inside, the girls sat on table and some kind waitress came to attend the trio.
"So, which would the ladies order for?" She asked while holding the notes.
"Well, we're gonna have some pepperoni with some green onions and extra Texas cheddar." Said Jill, Suzanne thought to ask for some extra onion and lettuce salad but once the party was killing that night, she decided to take an exception and agreed with her friend. Rose finished their drinks to be three Pepsi cans.
"Great! Your order will come in few minutes. Have a great night, chicks!" Said the waitress, that ripped the papper from note and left to go on kitchen.
Forty-five minutes later, the pizza and three Pepsi's finally arrived on their table. The trio enjoyed the food as they hadn't eat for like, 40 years and after to dining their pizza, Jill decided to join some karaoke with her friends. Rose declined for thinking her voice sucked to sing, so she told Suzanne to replace. Embarassed, Suzanne also declined but Jill agreed that she heard her friend singing on girl's bathroom from school and she always thought her voice was beautiful to listen.
Even towards her shyness, Suzanne agreed to take a chance, in the end, she needed to take her emotions a bit out beyond the song. The chosed song was ''Gimme! Gimme! Gimme!" by ABBA. Now there was Jill and Suzanne up from the stage, holding their mics and the audience waiting for the music. The DJ started to play the song, as Rose and the whole audience got surprised, Jill was excited but Suzanne was a bit insecure to singing - however, Jill held the blonde's hand and winked to her as a support's signal, the blonde grinned and then, they started singing. This time, Jill wanted Suzanne to get more confident about herself and gave all the focus to her friend while she would be like background vocal.
This time, if Suzanne started as shy and afraid to get mocked, it's like she forgot her fear on anywhere to focus on the music's rhythm thanks Jill's support. The girls sang and danced their own performance like it was just them and their friend Rose, Rose was so proud from the girls that she took some camera and started filming the show to save on their adventures' tapes, Oh she couldn't lose this moment.
Coincidentally, some miles from the girls' table - there was James and his football peers. James and the rest from the boys went to get some beers and have more fun, once it was weekend night. While the boys were laughing and others dancing throught the music' sound, the brunet boy recognized the singing girls on stage. and while the girls were repeating ''Gimme, gimme, gimme a man after midnight'', his eyes followed until Suzanne and focused his attention towards her. Her confidence, voice, for such a book worm, James couldn't help but getting more and more attracted about thar girl each day for day and when the song ended, a lot of applauses and whistles.
And then, they left on stage to walk back to their table. The DJ returned to play more disco and rock songs and during the way, Suzanne got her throat dried and decided to buy some water's bottle to barman. After getting the bottle, accidentely Suzanne and James bumped each other enough to make the bottle to feel down.
"Oh, pardon me, sir." She said, apologizing for the accident.
"Aww no problem, lady. Accidents always happen-'' Responded James with friendly and kind giggles. Without they noticed, both held hands to take the bottle and get up and when both recognized each other. James blushed completely reddened and highly shy about the girl while the blonde just kept quiet and staring with her eyes shining.
"Pardon me, Miss. I-I-I wasn't supposed and.... I gotta go. Good evening!" Suzanne told the boy to wait, however he walked so faster that disappeared between the crowd. She sighed in frustration, however she smiled for reminding the feel of his hand against hers.
"He was so tender and gentle. I bet he knows how to treat a girl respectfully.'' She thought, still blushing. Suzanne was determinated to meet him more times soon. However, her friends called for her and then, Suzanne returned to the girls and they enjoyed the rest of the night on that bar.
The End.

Werewolf!Josh Washington X Fem!Werewolf Reader Stargazing Prompt
!TW: Mention of hunting/Word ‘hunted’, word ‘killed’/mention of death of character’s family, mention of giving birth/implied mention of pregnancy!
“I never thought something so beautiful could exist in nature, but,” you began, gesticulating to the view ahead of you both; you and Josh were stood upon a flowery, peaceful hill which overlooked the snowy clearing and mountains in the distance.
Josh smiled sheepishly over at you; he guessed that you must have come across the hill on your travels before you and Alice found him. “This is why you made me drive three hours out into the middle of nowhere?” Josh assumed, and you nodded, grinning back at him. “Y’know - we could have just climbed up onto our roof to do some stargazing,” Josh stated, and you winced, shaking your head as you thought about it.
“Our roof may not be the safest place for us to stargaze,” you reminded him, and he nodded gravely; you both had been worried recently about the Outcast pack as they had been honing in on the area, and also you and Josh had made a chaotic discovery of the thin pale creatures called Wendigos.
You sat beside the oak tree close to the peak of the hill, and Josh sat beside you, smiling warmly over at you. “I wouldn’t mind falling asleep out here,” Josh mused, and you nodded, remembering how you and Alice used to curl up together when you were younger to sleep after you’d both explored the area and hunted together.
“Me and Alice used to sleep up here,” you stated, and Josh glanced over at you again, before he placed his hand on top of your’s; he knew it must be difficult for you to remember the past after your family had been killed by the Outcasts.
You smiled weakly down at his hand, before you looked up at him, your dark grey eyes glinting. You then shyly looked away from him; you still felt overwhelmed by your feelings for him, even though you both were now married. Josh looked back up at the dark sky, and he got excited for a moment, thinking he’d seen a shooting star. “Is that a-” Josh faltered, wincing when he realised that the light was flashing. “Wait, no,” Josh murmured, embarrassed, “just an airplane.” You couldn’t help, but giggle, amused. “Hey, er,” Josh tried to spark up a new conversation to cover up his embarrassment, “wouldn’t it be cool to name a star after yourself?”
You nodded slowly as you thought about it, and tried not to continue your brief fit of laughter as you didn’t want to make him feel worse about his previous observation. “Yeah, it would,” you corroborated, and Josh expressed relief, smiling subconsciously as he looked back at you again. “Aren’t they beautiful?” You asked, and Josh nodded, smirking; he had got an idea, clearly.
“Yes, they are,” he answered, “but - they are nothing compared to the stars I’ve seen in your eyes.”
You whined, looking away from him when you felt your cheeks heating up. “Josh,” you whispered, flustered.
“You’re adorable,” Josh remarked, before he leaned forward to connect his lips to your’s.
You then lowered yourself as you felt more comfortable, and Josh followed you, smiling over at you lovingly, before he looked back up at the sky. “Shooting star!” You squeaked, and Josh chuckled, before he shuffled closer to you. “Make a wish, Josh,” you encouraged, and Josh nodded, before he thought of something he could wish for. “What did you wish for?” You inquired, curious.
“I wished that we would - Always live peacefully, like we are now,” Josh informed, his voice soft, “and that - we’d - if you wanted to, of course - have another litter of pups, maybe?”
You scoffed, before you playfully slapped his shoulder, prompting him to start laughing. “You’re crazy,” you replied, “it was painful enough giving birth to the first batch.” Josh winced when he remembered, nodding; you’d been painfully squeezing his hand whilst you were giving birth to you and his pups that day. “Anything else that you wished for?” You questioned, lifting a skeptical eyebrow in his direction.
“Well,” Josh began slowly, “I - was wondering-.. Imagine if it could always be this way, even in the city.” You faltered, your eyes darkening slightly. “Maybe - We could move to the city, one day?” Josh suggested, but knew that you’d say ‘no’ when he noticed the look on your face.
“That’s too dangerous, Josh,” you claimed, “if anyone found out about what we are-”
“No one would find out,” Josh interrupted, “I promise, let’s just - give it a try-”
“I’m sorry, Josh,” you interjected, “but I can’t put our family in danger like that.” Josh gave in, though he was disappointed by your response. You intertwined your fingers with his, noticing that he’d fallen quiet, and seemed upset. “I just don’t want you, our pups or our friends getting hurt,” you explained, “I’m sorry, Josh.” Josh nodded, forcing a smile over at you. “I love you,” you concluded in a light voice, and Josh returned the significant three words, before he pulled you closer to him to kiss you again.

Here Comes the Sun (part 12)
Danny Wagner X Fem OC X Josh Kiszka
18+ only, minors DNI
Warnings: Talk of an abusive ex, nudity, groping? I think thats it! please let me know if I missed anything
Rose's POV
I slowly opened my eyes and stretched my arms above my head. Danny promptly pulled me against him, nuzzling his face into the crook of my neck and kissing it.
"Well good morning" I mumbled as I felt the butterflies stir in my stomach.
"Morning" he replied in his raspy morning voice, "I'm glad you're finally awake"
"Oh yeah," I turned to face him, kissing his lips. "Why's that?" I asked as my heart started beating faster. With the sun peeking in through the window his brown eyes were the color of honey.
"Because I'm starving" He said dramatically, pulling me closer and putting his head on my chest. I burst into a fit of giggles,
"That is not what I was expecting you to say" I said as I brushed hair from his face while he laughed, "How long have you been waiting for me to wake up?"
"Just like an hour or so" He shrugged
"Danny! Why didn't you wake me up or go get something from the kitchen." I said as I sat up, his head shifting to my lap.
"Not going to lie, I was kind of terrified I'd run into your brother." he said shyly, wrapping his arms around me tighter. "And I could never wake you up, you're too cute when you sleep" He added as he kissed my thigh.
"Well lets go cook breakfast then," I laughed as I got up, sliding on a pair of cotton shorts to go with Danny's shirt. I saw Danny starting to put on jeans and quickly stopped him, "Let me go get you a pair of Lucas's sweats so you can be in comfy clothes"
"Are you sure he won't mind?" Danny asked sweetly,
"He won't. I do his laundry anyways" I said back as I walked to Lucas's room. Thorne wasn't in there and I peeked into the living room, seeing that he wasn't there either. "Also Thorne isn't here, so you're safe for now" I said as I handed him the sweats.
"I thought I heard him leave earlier but wasn't sure" He replied as he stepped into the soft material.
"Yeah, he's probably at the gym or out for a run or something" I shrugged as Danny followed me to the kitchen. "What do you want for breakfast?" I opened the door to the pantry and peered in. Danny walked up behind me, placing his hands on my hips and resting his chin on the top of my head,
"Pancakes?" He suggested, pointing to the mix sitting on the shelf.
"Sounds good to me," I grabbed the box and asked Danny to grab a bowl out of the cabinet. "I like adding cinnamon sugar to the mix so they kind of taste like cinnamon rolls, is that ok with you?"
"That sounds delicious actually," He replied as he put the bowl next to me. I poured the water into the mix as Danny leaned against the counter and watched me mix the ingredients, a soft smile on his face.
"What?" I asked sheepishly with a smile,
"Nothing, I just, I like being here and doing things like this with you," He said, leaning down to kiss me on the cheek. I felt my cheeks blush,
"I like doing things like this with you too," I kept my eyes on the bowl, suddenly feeling shy "I can't decide if I added enough cinnamon" I said as I stirred
"Well, lets give it a taste," He dipped his finger into the batter, bringing it to my lips but promptly smearing it across my face. I gasped and he burst into laughter, I couldn't help but smile,
"You know what, I think YOU need to taste test it," I said taking the whisk from the bowl, and flicking it towards him. Batter splattered on his face and some on his bare shoulder and pecs. His mouth fell open in shock as he looked down at his chest and then his mischievous eyes landed on me. I threw my head back laughing,
"Oh you're in for it now," He said as he took a step towards me. I giggled as I ran away, making it to the couch and trying to put my hands up to shield myself from him as he chased after me also laughing. He made it over to me and grabbed both of wrists in one hand, pinning them above me on the couch as I continued to squirm,
"Danny stop!" I shrieked as he straddled my lap carefully.
"Not a chance angel" He grinned as he swiped some of the batter off his chest and wiped it across my face, getting it in my hair as well. He released my hands when he started laughing harder at my reaction. I pushed his chest back, making him fall backwards onto the other end of the couch,
"You got it in my hair!" I said as I climbed on top of him, grabbing his chin in my hand, feigning seriousness. His face went soft as he stared up at me, and I couldn't help but melt at the way he looked up at me. I leaned down and kissed him, softly at first, then more deeply.
"Rose," Danny said, pulling away for a moment,
"Hmm?" I asked sitting up and putting my hands on his chest. I could feel his heart thundering,
"I know it's to early to say the other thing, but..I really, really, like you." He said softly, a light blush taking over his cheeks as he pushed a piece of hair behind my ear, caressing my face. I felt my heart start beating faster, my cheeks also turning pink, because I felt the same.
"I really, really, like you too" I said before leaning down and kissing him again, I felt his lips curl into a smile.
"You know, I think we could both use a shower" he said as his hands moved to my ass, giving it a squeeze.
"I thought you were hungry" I said with a playful grin,
"I can wait" He laughed as he sat up. I promptly got off of him and started to the hallway, taking off his shirt and dropping it on the floor as he followed behind me. He caught up to me, and wrapped his arms around from behind me and grabbed my breasts as he started kissing at my neck. I reached my arm behind me and tangled it in his hair as we continued into the bathroom, just before I shut the bathroom door I heard the front door close. Danny and I both froze, "Was that?"
"Yeah, Thorne is back" I whispered, Dannys eyes got wide as he looked at me
"Oh this is 100% not happening, you were barely able to stay quiet last night," He said with a smirk, I scoffed and smacked his chest. Everything we said was now at a whisper,
"Your loss," I said with a quick peck to his jaw before I stepped out of my shorts and into the shower.
"I promise I'll make it up to you later, when we are alone. It's not my fault you can't keep that pretty little mouth shut" He said playfully as he stepped into the shower and pulled me into another kiss,
"Actually it kind of is your fault sir," I said as I poked at his chest, looking at him through my lashes. He raised a brow at me and groaned softly as he tilted my chin up to him,
"What did you just call me?" his hair was wet and tickling my shoulders, his eyes had gotten darker as he waited for my answer. I hadn't intended to say it in that way...
"You like when I call you that?" I asked trying to repress my proud grin, I had finally found something that made him just as weak as he made me.
"Mhm" Was all he managed, kissing my jaw,
"Well later, when you make up for not doing me in the shower, I'll call you sir all you want" I whispered into his ear, sucking the lobe into my mouth. His grip on my hips tightened, and I thought he was going to cave, but he didn't.
"I'm looking forward to it" he smiled as I reached for my shampoo, "Can I?" He asked sweetly,
"Uh, sure" I said, now feeling much more shy than I had 2 seconds ago. I watched as he put some of my shampoo into his hand,
"Turn around," He said quietly. I turned and he softly started working the shampoo into my hair, massaging my scalp. I was almost brought to tears as I started thinking about how different he treated me compared to my piece of shit ex.
Danny was so gentle and loving. He always made sure to take care of me, and check in when he thought I might be uncomfortable. I felt so safe with him. I blinked away the tears as I felt my heart swelling in my chest. I quickly turned around and pulled him into another kiss.
"What was that for?" He asked with a soft smile as I pulled away
"I just I...I really, really like you," I said, kissing him again. He knew what I meant, what I really meant.
"I really, really, like you too." He said, gently tugging on my hair so Id lean my head back into the stream of the shower. I heard him snicker and I opened my eyes,
"What is so funny?" I asked
"I didn't realize I left so many marks on you last night," He said as he ran a thumb over my collar bone. I glanced down to see 4 or 5 dark marks on my torso. I immediately thought about how much Josh would hate it. I shook the thought, because I myself liked them.
I once again thought back to my past and the huge difference between the marks my ex would leave on me out of hate, bruises from where he'd hit me or grab me, compared to these Danny left on me out of adoration and lust, places he'd kissed me. We finished showering and Danny slipped back on Lucas's sweats and I wrapped in a towel.
"$10 bucks says hes waiting right outside the door to grill you." I said, watching as Dannys eyes got wide
"Wait, really?" I could hear the nervousness in his voice suddenly,
"Yes really, but don't let him get to you. I think you can handle him," I stood on my tip toes and kissed his cheek, "Ready?" I whispered, he nodded as I took his hand. Sure enough I opened the door and there stood Thorne leaning in my doorway.
"Morning sister, morning J-...wait who is this?" He asked confused as his eyes landed on Danny.
"Hi, I'm Daniel," he said, his voice now not showing any nervousness as he shook Thornes hand confidently.
"I thought these clothes looked too big for the small one" Thorne said as he nudged Dannys shirt on the ground with his foot, Danny snickered. "What happened to James?"
"Josh, is fine. It's nice that you're asking about him though." I jested, avoiding the actual question because I didn't feel like having this discussion in front of Danny. "Can you please move so I can get into my room,"
"Fine, Also I bought breakfast, and theres enough for Daniel if he wants some too." Thorne said as he made his way towards the kitchen. I dragged Danny into my room and shut the door. As soon as the door was shut Danny let out a sigh of relief,
"I think he might actually not hate you" I said as I put on some comfy clothes,
"Really? Thats good. He is kind of intimidating" He said as he sat on the bed,
"He just likes to play the scary big brother," I rolled my eyes, "So whats the plan for today?"
"Well, I was thinking we could just hang out here until the show." He said as he stood up,
"You still fine with that even though Thorne is here?" I asked surprised
"Yeah, I mean...if I'm dating his sister I need to get to know him at some point right?" He pulled me closer and kissed me,
"True, lets go get some breakfast then."
Danny followed me into the kitchen and we both grabbed plates and some of the breakfast Thorne had brought. Thorne was sitting in the armchair and so I settled on the couch, draping my legs over Danny's lap. The rest of the day was surprisingly relaxing as we all chatted. The longer the day went on the more Thorne and Danny would chat and banter with each other. They'd talked mostly about sports, Thorne had played golf in high school and apparently so had Danny. It made me happy to see them getting along so well. Danny even invited Thorne to the show, explaining that he was in the same band as Josh. This time Thorne didn't make any rude comments, but declined because he had already made plans to meet up with some of his old friends while he was in town. I had at some point shifted to where my head was now in Danny's lap as he absent mindedly played with my hair,
"Hey," He said softly, pulling me from my nearly asleep state, "You want to go take a nap before we have to get ready?" I nodded and lazily got up from the couch, Danny followed behind me. When we made it to my room, we both cuddled up on the bed, and I quickly fell back asleep wrapped in Dannys arms.

note: sorry for the break of fluff, idk what happened there for a second but uh. . . back to our regularly scheduled programming:) also it's been a hot minute since I just posted a one-shot and walked away
pairing: Josh x F!Reader warnings: angsty, mentions of cheating, mentions of sex, cursing, arguing, terrible grammar word count: 1.7k
You sat staring at the pink stick in your hands, that stupid plus sign staring back at you. You had wanted this, at some point in your life, but not like this. Definitely not like this. You set the stick down, washed your hands, and then went and flopped down on your bed. You grabbed the pillow and held it to your face, letting out a scream.
This is your karma, this is what you deserve. There was no one or nothing you could blame this on, but yourself. You couldn’t blame the distance between you and Josh, or him spending longer days at the studio, or the fights that you two seemed to pick all the time. There was nothing you could say that drove you into the arms of another man. You felt sick, not sure if it was morning sickness or the feeling of guilt rising in your body.
You jumped up from the bed, running for the bathroom. You barely got the toilet lid up as you were throwing up the contents of your lunch. Tears streamed down your face as you heaved. The only thing going through your mind was how you were going to tell Josh.
Josh has been your everything for the past 3 years of your life. You had met him while you were singing at a local jazz club, and it had truly been love at first sight. Josh had never been so in love with someone’s voice, but he did. He had met you right after your set, and asked you out. You were nervous at first, not really wanting to put your heart back out on the firing line. You had recently gotten out of a bad breakup, but Josh made you remember what it was like to be loved again.
Josh did everything he could to remind you how much you meant to him, and how much he had loved you. You two had promised each other to never go to bed angry, and usually it worked. You two would argue, spend some time apart in various places of the house or studio, and then reconcile so you both could sleep soundly next to each other. But the last fight you two had, was nasty. Words that weren’t supposed to be shared, we’re shared. Thoughts that were meant to stay with one another were spoken out loud. Glass, pictures, flowers had been thrown around the house, making it look like a hurricane in its wake. Josh had left, not giving you any explanation of where he was going.
— — —
You were shaking with tears, and called the one person you knew you could talk to. He had comforted you, helping you pick up the pieces of the torn relationship. He held you while you cried, letting you get out all your emotions. He even stayed, knowing that he probably shouldn’t have. He laid down next to you, holding you. He could smell Josh’s shampoo lingering on the pillow, when you first kissed him. He could see the faint love bites Josh had left a couple nights ago, as he took off your shirt.
“We shouldn’t do this,” He whispered.
“Please,” You whined, “He won’t touch me, he won’t even look at me. I need it, please.”
He loved the way you were begging, so he threw all possible caution to the wind, gripping your hips, dragging them back and forth over his clothed cock. He discarded your clothes, leaving you both naked and exposed to each other. Your hands roamed his muscular back as he thrusted into you. You were thankful it was dark in the room, as silent tears ran down your face in both guilt and pleasure.
— — —
That night of complete weakness had been almost two months ago. The next day Josh had come home, knocking shyly on the door. You were startled, running downstairs before he could find you and the familiar stranger in bed together. Josh had brought your favorite flowers, apologizing for the words he had said. You asked to be left alone for the day, and he obliged, promising to come home for dinner though. Once he had left, you ran upstairs to kick the man in your bed out.
But since that day, your relationship with Josh had slowly started to heal itself. You and Josh had talked about the faults in the relationship, and promised to heal what was broken. He had invited you to the studio, making sure to fill his downtime with you. You had bought new glassware to replace what was broken in the fight. Josh also had picked up on the spontaneity, coming home at random times during the day to bring you flowers. Everyone around you seemed to pick up on the new and improved moods of both of you. Your love sick smiles and puppy love flooded over to everyone else, but one person.
— — —
“You need to fucking tell him.” He whispers to you. You both stood in the hallway, he had dragged you out of the room when Josh stepped into the booth to record a track.
“I can’t do that. We’re finally happy again, why can’t you just let it be.” You spoke, folding your arms over your chest. You looked back into the studio, seeing Josh’s bright smile as he heard the playback of his song.
“You tell him. . . or I will.”
You watched as he walked back into the studio, his long hair swishing as he walked. You sighed, running your hand over your forehead. You couldn’t tell Josh, not when things had just gotten better between the two of you.
— — —
You perked up from your spot on the bed when you heard the front door open, and the familiar footsteps of your lover. You quickly sat up from your spot and ran to the bathroom, gathering the remnants of the life changing news and shoving them into your sock drawer. You closed the drawer just as Josh pushed the bedroom door open.
“There you are!” Josh smiled walking over to you, “I was calling for you.”
“Sorry,” You mumbled and walked over to kiss his cheek, “I didn’t hear you. How was the studio?” You asked him, walking out of the room, hoping to get as far away from the evidence as possible. Josh followed you as you went downstairs, talking about his day, which you had drowned out. The only thing you could hear is the blood rushing in your head. You moved on autopilot as you opened the fridge, grabbing a snack and a bottle of water.
“Hey… you okay?” Josh asked, his hand gently on your shoulder. You softly pushed away from him, putting distance between you, “Y/N, you’re scaring me… what’s going on love?”
“N-Nothing, Josh,” You said, shaking your head. You put a smile on your face as you tried to listen to Josh drone on about being at the studio. But nothing was distracting you from the sinking feeling in your stomach.
You took in his features, committing them to memory as he spoke about how his day went. It was the small things like how he talked with his hands and how he had a vocabulary that was just so him, that made you fall in love in the first place. You were trying to block out the feeling of guilt rising in your stomach, his bright eyes and smile making you feel worse.
Josh could read you like an open book. He could tell when something was wrong, whether you were upset or angry or didn’t feel good. That’s what came from years of spending time around you, getting to know you, falling in love with you. Josh sometimes knew what you were feeling before you did. Josh could tell now that something was wrong. Your smile didn’t quite reach your eyes, you were looking anywhere but at him, you were taking extra long sips of your water. Your body language was closed off, almost as if you didn’t want him to be around.
“Okay, Y/N, cut the shit,” Josh said, startling you from your spaced off look.
“What?” You asked him.
“You’ve ignored every single thing I have had to say since I walked through the door. I just asked you what you wanted for dinner and it’s like you couldn’t even hear me. There’s something you’re not telling me. So what is it?” Josh asked.
Just like Josh, you could read him like an open book too. You could see in the way he clenched and unclenched his fists that he was getting angry. You swallowed harshly, taking in a deep breath. You knew you had let this go on long enough. That the infidelity was one thing, this situation was another.
You opened and closed your mouth a couple times, before finding the words to say, “I’m pregnant.”
Josh stumbled back for a second, shock taking over his body. He looked from your face to your belly and then back to your face a couple times. His mind was running miles and miles per second, like you had just spoken a foreign language to him.
“What?” Josh asked, shocked, as he walked towards you. He gently held his shaky hands out to you, placing a hand softly on your belly. You closed your eyes and let tears fall down your cheeks. You lifted your head up, your face towards the ceiling, hoping he wouldn’t see.
“Baby! That’s amazing. I-I can’t believe it! I’m gonna be a dad?” Josh exclaimed, his bright smile finding his face again, “Why are you crying? What’s wrong?”
“Josh, “ You said, sucking in a breath. You looked down at the ground, not being able to look him in the eye as you said barely above a whisper, “It’s not yours.”
Josh felt like you had stabbed him, as he took a quick step back from you. You looked up at him, your heart breaking seeing the look on his face. He looked repulsed by you, completely disgusted. Josh let out a short breath and clenched his jaw.
“Who’s?” He asked you.
“Josh, I-”
“Goddammit!” Josh yelled, sweeping everything off the kitchen counter, sending plates and mugs crashing to the ground. You jumped at the sound of the glass breaking, your hands quickly going to your stomach in defense, “Who’s fucking kid!?”
“Sam’s. . .”

gvf headcanon | flirting
request: hey could you do a headcannon about how the guys would flirt with you before you're together? i always thought josh would be the slightly childish type of flirting, like the 'lets measure our hand sizes' type of flirting. however, i'm not sure what your thoughts are on this and would love to know!!!
josh.
i feel there could be two extremes to what josh flirting with you means: either he’s all blushing, shy around you as he tries smoothly complimenting you and failing completely to be subtle; or he is so good at it that you never realize he’s not only flirting but also winning your heart. all i can be sure of is that this man is going to use two things: his eyes and his words. watch him look up and down at you while you speak, adding short compliments, short enough to make you blush but not enough to make you realize he’s flirting. i think he would be super charming, sensitive and a bit extra too, but you may never see it coming.
with josh, let’s say you two met at a music festival. he had seen you from the stage while he waited for jake’s solo to be over. however, he quickly realized you weren’t with the crowd, and you seemed to be chatting with friends, unaware of the performance he was displaying. he couldn’t take his eyes away from you, and he made it his mission to approach you. once the band’s turn was over, josh rushed to clean up, get changed and be ready to find you. he believed you were waiting for greta van fleet to be over for the next artist to come, so he expected to find you at the same spot. as planned, josh saw you near the same stand he had seen before, so all he needed was a little self-encouraging speech before approaching you. your friends seemed to ignore his presence when he greeted you from behind, starting with a small compliment on your tattoo. you were trying to be polite when you thanked for the comment, but josh was not ending the conversation right there. he hooked you up with questioning the story behind your tattoo, as you seemed to have a lot to say about it. you thought you were going insane when you caught the mysterious man eyeing you from heads to toes, resting his stare on your lips several times. maintaining eye contact was harder than expected, as it appeared like he could pierce your soul with his stare.
“wow” he finally spoke after you were done “you sure as hell got an amazing mind”
you smiled shyly at his comment, not expecting such an answer from him
“it truly means a lot to me” you reassured, watching josh take a step closer
“i can see that” his smile was even more charming than his voice, and you were wondering if he wasn’t some guest of the show “so tell me, what artists were you expecting to see?”
“stevie nicks! i actually bought this ticket just to see her, i have been wanting to watch her perform for years”
“got an amazing mind and really good music taste; how are you not a creation of my imagination?”
you were once more blushing hard as he smiled at you, not losing the chance again of stealing a few glances from your outfit. based on music, you two managed to chat for hours, exchanging phone numbers with the excuse to show each other songs you recommended. you had no idea where this was going, but you were surely never going to forget josh.
sam.
no, oh my god, sam is definitely the childish type to flirt. i see this man not giving one fuck about how obvious this is, but it’s adorable anyways. like, we paint sam as this cool guy, but we’ve seen how shy he can be and around a person he likes but is not romantically involved, i feel like sam would be shyer than we think. i see him trying to sneak in some comments, like comparing hand sizes or height, or like asking about your nail polish and stuff.
i’m obsessed with comparing hand sizes, so i’m definitely going with that one. it’s easy to say, you were completely unaware that one of your best friends was into you. it was nice, having formed a small group of six college classmates during your freshman year. they had been your rock, your partners in crime for years and you could never be thankful enough. surprisingly, however, you and sam were not as close as you were with other guys in your group of friends. yes, he was there and could always make you laugh and drinking with him was a wild but fun adventure. yet, you barely could talk with him, despite the years of friendship. it didn’t help that your girl friends would always joke about you two making a good couple, so it wasn’t weird to think you hadn’t been able to truly meet sam. however, for the past days he had been staying closer to you. you weren’t complaining, as sam had a special warmth that always felt like a nice coat over your shoulders. he had been more talkative with you, first getting out some small conversation before actually making you good company. one night, however, you felt something changing in the air, as your small group of friends had left you by the bonfire alone with sam.
“are you cold?” sam asked while watching you approach your hands to the fire
“a little bit” you admitted with a shy smile
“let me help”
you could barely react as sam took your hands in his, using someone’s jacket to rub your hands. that small feeling of coldness was soon gone as sam now held your hands with his. you hadn’t noticed until now how close he was sitting to you, his warm breath hitting your face as he chuckled at how foolish he looked while rubbing your hands together.
“your hands are so big compared to mine” you commented, giggling too at the corny thought
“i’ll be the judge to that”
you could swear you watched sam wink at you before putting the palm of his hand against yours. you were blushing like a teenager, hiding your face with your other hand as sam kept on pulling your fingers, making jokes about how small they were. all you could suddenly think of was, why did you have butterflies in your stomach?
danny.
danny is always quiet and shy, right? i mean, based on interviews he seems to not say much but to say a lot when he truly speaks. that was so contradictory, oh god. what i mean is that, when danny actually speaks, his words have impact one way or the other, so i can see him being that way with flirting too. i don’t know why i feel like the conversation would be started by you, but he would not ignore the chance of flirting. i also feel he would use his eyes too, like josh, to eye you around. maybe some other physical action, like playing with your fingers while you talk. he’s gonna let you talk all you want, but he’s definitely sneaking in a very strong compliment that will have you overthinking every word you speak.
i have the visual image you met danny at a bar. you two were sitting by each other’s side, though each mind was in its own world. however, you couldn’t help but overhear his phone call, where he happened to mention meeting your favorite band. he seemed to like them as well, so you waited until he was done to respectfully bother his private time to ask about what you so happened to casually hear. you couldn’t see it, but something inside danny clicked as he landed eyes on you. he hadn’t been so starstruck by someone before, and he just seemed to not be able to take his eyes off you. he shortly explained how he meet the band, though words were barely coming out as he was still trying to calm down from seeing your face. you were an excited child, a huge fan of the mentioned band who couldn’t contain the happiness inside your body. you began telling him about the time you watched the band live with your ex boyfriend, but danny wasn’t paying attention. with a hand supporting his head as it was resting on the bar, danny had a small smile while watching you talk. he allowed his eyes to look at you well, noticing small details and taking in everything he could see. by now he was definitely not subtle, and you felt observed under his stare. it didn’t feel bad, not at all; you felt desired in the greatest way possible. you stayed in topic as you felt danny’s hand taking yours, his fingers grabbing your fingers as he stroked them slightly. you could feel goosebumps on your skin because of the small but precious physical contact. and then, he spoke.
“you’re so beautiful” the words escaped his mouth with no warnings, yet danny did not show one sign of regret
“what?” you were speechless at his not-so-rude interruption
“i can’t believe how pretty you are” now danny felt his cheeks burn, but he was trying hard to show he could be cool and flirty
“god, stop!” it was your turn to feel your face burn, and you took the chance to take a sip of your drink
“sorry for interrupting, i needed to get that of my chest” he put a hand on his chest as he nodded slowly before adding “please, continue”
you did as he asked, though his compliment was still rotating around your head. the night continued pretty much the same, with danny making small compliments that could make your head spin within seconds. he was a prince charming, and you couldn’t wait to see him again.
jake.
now, with jake, i feel he would be like a weird balance. let me explain myself: he’s gonna be respectful, complimenting you in simple ways; however, jake wants to talk, he wants to have a conversation with you and he’s not gonna care that you can barely talk as every compliment he makes, as random as they can be, are making you lose your ability to speak. i see it as jake would start with a simple compliment, asking questions to get to know you more. but then he would continue making other kinds of compliments, he just wants to see you blush at his words.
i always make all the jake scenarios be during tour but honest to god, i have a thing for jake during tour so let me be. anyways, on this occasion, it wasn’t even his own tour. along with josh, jake had visited a singer he had befriended a while ago. this singer was having a concert at nashville, and jake was not gonna miss the chance to see him live and later have a conversation backstage. however, his artistic friend had failed to share with him the fact that he had hired a new makeup artist, who happened to be you. as you had befriended the singer as well, you would casually stay around backstage before, during and after each show. you had watched jake and josh enter the waiting room, and your eyes met jake’s instantly. you smiled kindly at him, like any person would do. however, his eyes were stuck on you, completely immovable throughout the whole night. you were standing, firstly, in front of him, in silence as you listened to the conversation josh was having with the singer. later on, jake moved around, so he could now be standing by your side.
“i like your hair” were the first words he spoke to you, as he closed the conversation between you two
“thank you” you played with a strand of your hair, avoiding eye contact as you knew it could make your knees shake
“you always dye it?” he seemed very into the topic, and somehow you felt more comfortable
“i like trying new styles” you shrugged, now being able to look at him in the eyes
“it suits you perfectly” his voice was not even shaking as he spoke in the sweetest way ever.
you smiled once more, losing all sort of confidence as his presence was so strong. you felt dominated, unable to stay in composure. he was fresh and cool, and yet he showed signs of sensitivity and shyness. like a perfect combination of both sides, jake was making you smile with every word spoken.
“what’s the next color you plan on doing?” he asked once more, crossing his arms over his chest as he licked his lips
you continued on talking non-stop, explaining your past experience with dying hair and what you had planned for the future. nothing mattered as jake was concentrated on your lips, watching them move and thinking about closing the space between you two. however, he couldn’t ignore the attraction he felt for you, and he soon had in mind asking you on a date.

Plank All Over Me - 72 Questions With Vogue Edition
Pairing: Tom Holland x Reader
Plank All Over Me Series Masterlist
Regular Masterlist
“Hi. I’m here from Vogue. Mind if I ask you a few questions?”
“Oh, hey. Didn’t see you there.” You flirtatiously flipped your perfectly curled hair over your shoulder and winked at the camera. “Come on in.”
You walked inside your house, and gestured for the camera man to follow. In preparation for the interview, you and Tom had gotten out every award you’d ever won and strategically placed them around the house. You smiled at the camera and rubbed your hand over your growing baby bump.
“Welcome to my crib. Sorry it’s such a mess.” You rolled your eyes and faked a laugh, knowing the house was far from being a mess. You kept walking and saw Tom in the living room, polishing on of his awards with a feather duster.
“Oh my stars.” You feigned a gasp once you spotted Tom. “Is that my husband, the critically acclaimed movie star and Lip-sync battle winner, Tom Holland? I had no idea he was home.” You winked at the camera again.
“Oh, hello.” Tom stopped dusting and posed with a smile. “Don’t mind me. I was just cleaning this.”
“Might want to give that a dusting too.” You pointed to one of your awards before sending the camera another huge smile.
“Are you guys ready to answer some questions?” The camera guy asked.
“I was born ready.” Tom concurred with a smile.
“You were a C section baby.” You reminded him. “You weren’t even born.”
“I was removed ready.” He kept the same tone in his voice.
“Where did you meet?” The camera man asked as you and Tom began to walk towards your backyard.
“We met at BBC Radio 1 while doing the Plank All Over Me challenge.” Tom answered.
“Where was your first date?”
“Cracker Barrel.” You winked at the camera as you opened your back door. Tom laughed and shook his head at your joke.
“It was not. We got milkshakes at an Ice Cream Shop in Soho.” He corrected you.
“Who made the first move?”
“Why, he did.” You touched a hand to your heart. “He found me after the planking challenge, both our arms sore and aching, and asked me out on a date. We’ve been together ever since.”
“When you did you move in together?”
“About six months into the relationship when I realized she had a bigger bathroom than me.” Tom answered as he took a seat in one of your decorative deck chairs.
“How long have you been together?”
“Since September 29, 2019 at precisely 6:33 p.m.” You responded.
“Wow. Just a year?”
“Realistically, we’ve been together for a few years, but that’s when this series was first posted.” You shrugged. Tom and the camera blinked in confusion for a few minutes as they processed what you said.
“Moving on.” The camera man cleared his throat. “Tom, how did you pick an engagement ring?”
“I went into the shop and I said “which is the least expensive because I’m trying to buy a Porsche” and that’s how she ended up with this bad boy.” Tom smirked as he held up your hand to show off your engagement ring.
“I can’t wait to tell our baby that story.” You played along as you rubbed your baby bump.
“When did you know you wanted to propose?”
“As soon as she started whining because the planking was hurting her arms, I knew she was the one.” Tom joked.
“Did you know he was going to propose?”
“Surprisingly, no.” You laughed. “It’s the one secret he’s ever kept.
“I nearly got an ulcer from trying to keep it from her.” Tom blew out a breath.
“Who planned the majority of the wedding?”
“I did.” You declared. “I had to text Tom the morning of the wedding to remind him where the venue was.”
“Did either of you cry?”
“As soon as I mentioned the yoga challenge in my vows, the whole room was sobbing.” Tom teased.
“How big was the reception?”
“Let’s just say, we had all the Avengers there.” Tom nodded.
“All the important ones, anyway.” You joked. “Mackie couldn’t make it.”
“How did you spend your honeymoon?”
“We went to Bali and didn’t see any of it.” Tom smirked, earning a playful smack on the arm from you.
“What’s been your favorite video together?”
“I loved the prank with Josh.” You answered with a smile.
“I didn’t.” Tom shook his head. “I nearly threw hands with a ginger that day. I quite liked the friendship test.”
“What video gave you the fondest memories?”
“Spill your Guts, for sure. That’s when I learned about the existence of this one.” Tom beamed as he rubbed your baby bump.
“What was your least favorite video to film?”
“We already know Tom’s answer.” You chuckled.
“Prank interview.” He stated. “To this day, I hate it.”
“Did you see yourself getting married when you first met?”
“All I saw were the nose hairs in Tom’s nostrils when we first met.” You laughed. “After all, he did plank on me for six and a half minutes.”
“I had a feeling we would.” Tom smiled shyly. “Or a hope, at least.”
You pouted at his sincerity and leaned forward to kiss him, which his happily accepted.
“Have you thought of baby names?”
“Josh.” You answered immediately and Tom groaned.
“I’m kidding.” You rolled your eyes. “I really like the name Ryan Reynolds though.”
”What are you hoping for?”
“An oscar.” Tom answered at the same time you said “A divorce.”
“You already want a divorce?” The camera man laughed.
“Oh, not a divorce from Tom.” You assured him. “I want Ryan Reynolds to divorce Blake Lively so he can marry me instead.” You explained as Tom nodded along.
“And I want to die every time she says that.” He cracked a smile.
“Let’s get back to the baby questions.” The camera man said as you began to move around the yard. “Do you know the gender?”
“We do.” Tom said deviously. “But we’re not telling.”
“Do you think the baby will be more like their mother or their father?”
“Definitely me.” You stated.
“Why are you so sure?”
“Because Tom’s not the father.” You smiled sweetly. Tom stared at the camera with an unamused expression and shook his head.
“Who’s going to be the fun parent?”
“Considering I’m the parent who can swing from buildings, I say me.” Tom boasted.
“Who’s going to teach the baby how to read?”
“I am. And after the baby learns, they can teach Tom.” You smiled as you patted Tom’s shoulder.
“Do you think the baby will like to plank?”
“If they’re anything like their mommy, no.” Tom poked fun at you.
“And if they’re anything like their daddy, they’ll grow up to play the Green Lantern.” You shot back.
“Hahahah. She’s so funny.” Tom forced a laugh at your joke.
“Do you think the baby will develop your senses of humor?”
“Wait, you have a sense of humor?” You asked Tom. “You didn’t tell me that.”
“She loves me so much, it’s crazy.” Tom deadpanned towards the camera.
“Do you want the baby to grow up to be an actor or actress like you guys?”
“I just want the baby to be happy.” Tom gave a serious answer. “Every thing else will fall into place on its own.”
“That’s a great answer. Do you think you’ll post about the baby a lot of keep them out of the spotlight for the first few years of their life?”
“I think we’ll wait until they’re at least 4 months old until we exploit them for our own financial gain.” You said and Tom nodded along.
“Have you picked out the godparents yet?”
“Hugh Jackman and Jake Gyllenhaal.” You joked. “They’re so excited. Jake said he would take the baby fishing.”
“He’s taken me fishing a few times.” Tom said as he stared off.
“How have you been preparing for the baby?”
“Well, I personally stopped sleeping, changed my whole diet, started lactating, and my pelvic bone separated in the middle so that I could push the baby out. Tom, what did you do?” You tilted your head at him.
“I bought the car seat.” Tom said proudly. “My wife picked it out, though.”
“I also drove him there.” You glared at the camera for a moment, cracking a smile after your joke.
“What are you most looking forward to after the baby is born?”
“Laying on my stomach.” You laughed as you looked down at your protruding bump.
“I also miss laying on her stomach.” Tom pouted as he rubbed the bump. “That was my favorite cuddle position.”
“Aw. I’m sorry we can’t cuddle the way you want to anymore because I’m growing your child inside my body.” You said sarcastically, making Tom laugh.
“Thank you for growing our child inside your body. I don’t say it enough.” Tom praised as he leaned in for a kiss.
“You’re welcome.” You smiled at him before turning to the camera man. “Anything else you want to know?”
“Actually, I have a question.” Tom stated as he looked at the camera.
“What’s that?” The camera man asked. You and Tom looked at each other and exchanged a smile before turning back the the camera.
“Are you excited to meet our baby girl?”

❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀
Two weeks later.
"Hey, guys! It's me." You say. Grumbling, you lay down on the grass, sighing afterwards. "I'm doing fine... Well, not really," you trailed off.
7 years ago today, the unthinkable happened to your parents, leaving you an orphan. As medical professionals, they were assigned to take on a project—it was to vaccinate and immunize people living in remote regions of the province. They had multiple destinations, including villages that populated the sides of mountains. That didn’t stop them though. They were determined to travel long distances to help those people; it was their duty. However, as they were driving down the mountain to return home, the brake of their car stopped working, causing them to speed down the hill.
That night, you waited until morning, but they never came. When Mina’s parents got the news, they tried to explain what had happened, but you were just a young girl—you didn’t understand the complexities of life, let alone death. How did they expect you to understand that you will not see your parents again? That they will never come home? At first, you didn’t. So, every night, you would sit in front of the door, patiently waiting for your name to be called by the same voice who sang to you until you fell asleep. You waited until you were picked up by the same arms who held you first and rocked you to sleep. You waited for that familiar scent that made you feel safe, like home. You waited, and waited, and waited, but the voice never called out your name, the arms never picked you up, and the scent never passed through your nose.
That’s when it hit you. They were gone; the people you trusted everything with, your best friends, the people you called mom and dad were gone. You were alone.
You lay down on the grass, checking for any garbage or debris you might accidentally lay on. You turn to your side, facing the arched-shaped stone carved with letters of your parent's name. You trace along with the letters as you start to rant, "I have shit friends." You let out a chuckle, attempting to hold back the tears behind your eyes.
"Mina blames me for meeting Jeonghan while she was gone, and she's also mad because I like him. But that's out of my control... She kicked me out anyway," you say nonchalantly as if it wasn't a huge deal.
"I went to Josh's, but that was no better. It turns out he's been lying to me about Jeonghan." Pausing to take a breath, as you lay back on your back, watching as the clouds above pass by.
Since the day you and Jeonghan found out about Mina and Jeonghan's plan to keep you apart, the two have been nowhere to be found. No one knows if they left separately or planned it together. Seungkwan and the rest believe it's the latter, and considering the past events, you too, think they might have left together.
Though you do miss the presence of your two so-called best friends, there is a part of you that is happy they are gone. With the help of Vernon, Chan and Seungkwan, they made you realize how fucked up Mina's actions were—from asking you to pretend to be her, to blaming you for getting caught and kicking you out. As well as Joshua's betrayal. Now, thinking about it just made your blood boil to the point that you feel they might evaporate from your body. You know that forgiving them is going to be hard—or, did you want to forgive them?
"Would I take it back if I had the chance? And bring Mina and Joshua back?" You think out loud as if they'll answer you. "I do miss them, but I wouldn't take it back, ever. Now, I have friends who genuinely care about me. There's also this guy named Jeonghan."
A smile instantly forms on your face as you picture his face in your head. It's safe to say that your "jeelings" never fade away.
"He's really cute... and nice... and-"
“YN.” A familiar voice calls out from a distance, causing you to jump. You hurriedly stood up and looked around for the owner of the voice. You were surprised to see that it's Jeonghan. You certainly were not expecting him here.
He is wearing his long coat, holding a white vase filled with purple iris flowers. He walks to where you were previously lying down and places the vase beside the cement.
“Jeonghan, what are you doing here?” You ask as he approaches closer to where you were standing. He doesn’t answer you. Instead, he kneels in front of your parents' tombs and talks.
“When we found out that my father was very sick, we accepted it right away because we knew that there was nothing we could do to help him given our financial situation. My hopes for him were dissipating as the days passed by. But because of you, he lived longer than we had expected. Because of you, I was able to be a son for my father for a longer time. Mr. and Mrs. YLN, I know I am very late, but I want to thank you for the kindness that you have shown towards my family, especially my father. In return, I promise that I will look after your daughter like you did with my father. I will give her everything that she wants, and be there for her when she needs me.”
As you listen to Jeonghan, memories of a little boy and his father walking to your parents’ clinic flashed through your brain. You remember the boy you played with as your parents examined their patients—the boy who always took home your toys, and gave them back when he returned the next week. You couldn’t believe that was Jeonghan.
Jeonghan stood up, smiling as he stared at your shocked figure. "Do you finally remember me now?" He asks and you nod in response, still too shocked to formulate words.
He reaches out for something in his pocket and hands it to you. You reach out, hands open to accept the mysterious item. You soon realize that it's the same toy car you had given him when he last visited.
"You still have this?" You ask, not taking your eye away from the toy.
"Of course," he grins. "You told me to keep it safe since it was your favourite one."
You continue to inspect the car in your hand as Jeonghan fondly watches you.
"YN?"
"Hmm?"
"Can I hug you?", Jeonghan asks shyly. You nod as a smile spreads across your face.
Jeonghan closes in the space between you and wraps his arms engulfing you. You hugged him back, snaking your arms around his waist as you closed your eyes. As you inhaled his scent, it reminded you of your childhood, your parents, his father—home. Everything about the hug felt unreal, but it also felt right. Like this, right here with him, is where you belong.

**this is my second fic, and i’m hoping to push more out as i get more comfortable with writing! i’m thinking to maybe make a part two to this but i don't know yet. please let me know what you think! *sending besitos to y’all :))*
Prompt: Why are you crying?
1:15 p.m.
In the corner of a dimly lit studio in front of the barre, (y/n) leans over to her left, counting four beats before resetting and proceeding to stretch over her right side. After months spent choreographing, picking costumes, and endless bandages wrapped around her feet, it has led to the final product: her first piece in her dance company’s annual recital premiering tonight.
All (y/n) could feel was pure energy and pride at what she has created. It’s her baby after all and nothing could ruin the day for her.
Feeling her joints start to loosen up, she runs through a mental list in her head making sure each dancer had their costumes, knew where all the dancers would start and end on stage, as well as remembering her own choreography, seeing as she had an important section to end her piece. After double-checking, (y/n) then begins to travel to the center of the studio, and begins to run over the piece.
Remember the triple pirouette here, before you end with a leap to fourth position. Finishing in the fourth position, she lets out a curse as she accidently stubs her right thumb toe, a small scab already tearing at the edge. Shaking out her pain, she reattempts the move, succeeding with an effortless bow.
“You know, your piece is going to be excellent. Why are you so worried?”, a voice calls out in the quiet studio, with (y/n) yelping and trying to find where the voice came from. Standing against the edge of the doorway stood Liam, her dance partner and best friend. (y/n) begins to chuckle and runs the piece over again.
“Can’t help but make sure it’s perfect. I have drenched all my blood, sweat and tears creating this dance, this- this masterpiece. It is my first, and most certainly not my last choreographing piece at this company. There’s too much riding on this for me.”, she replies.
“Even if so, I’d like to think you’ll be fine. Don’t stress, it’s amazing. Otherwise, how are you feeling?”
“Kind of excited, kind of feeling like I should run away.”, (y/n) replies. Avoiding to answering the question entirely, she begins to run the piece over again. She continues,
“I think regardless, it should be a great night. George is coming to the recital tonight and it’ll be the first time he’ll be seeing this dance.” With George editing and recording videos for the Dream Team, his Twitch channel, and YouTube channels, (y/n)’s barely seen him since the start of the dance season. The only time she’s been able to spend time with him has been going to bed with him - even if it’s been a bit more rare lately - and sometimes, a free day on a weekend with no dance practice or no recording for George.
“So that’s why you are nervous, how cute.”, Liam laughs, with (y/n) leaping over to Liam and swatting their arm lightly.
“He swore that he’d come tonight, and he knows how much time I’ve spent perfecting this. I just can’t imagine tonight going any other way. I made sure to get him a seat right in the front, so he’ll be able to see the whole performance, and me.”, (y/n) smirks. As soon as (y/n) found out she would be choreographing one of the pieces in the recital, she immediately told George her good news. George had told her she deserved it for working her butt off since the start of her being at the dance academy. Making him pinky swear, George swore that he would be there for her first performance with her also starring as a choreographer.
“So focus on that instead of thinking your piece is going to crash and burn! Relax a bit. We only have a bit of time before we start getting ready, so let’s run it over a few more times. And don’t even think about slacking off now, missy, we’ll stretch and go get ready after.” Liam decides, and she nods, thinking it’s probably for the best. Running to her bag, (y/n) sends a quick message to George.
George J: hey, can’t wait to see you tonight! i left your ticket on your nightstand, and remember to dress up slightly, it’s a dance recital after all ;) lub you xo - sent at 1:34 p.m.
Content with her message, she tosses her phone back into her bag, and heads back to run over the piece with Liam once more.
>>>
6:47 p.m.
Sticking the last bobby-pin to her bun, (y/n) glances in the mirror to make sure no mistake is in place. Eyeing her look, she can’t help but smile looking at her dance attire, admiring how her purple leotard and dress matches her eyeshadow. Paired with a dark nude lip, she smirks and turns to check her phone for any messages, hoping that one could be from George.
Out of the nine messages she received, most were from friends and family, wishing her luck on her performance tonight. She replied with a thanks and a heart emoji before finally reading the last message coming from George about two hours ago.
George J: hi darling, i saw the ticket, i am so excited for you! can’t wait for you to take my breath away, as you always do. love you more xo - sent at 4:48 p.m.
Smiling even wider, (y/n) puts her phone on silent, before walking towards the backstage area, passing dancers along the way. Grabbing their hands and wishing them good luck, she arrives at the destination, nerves buzzing as members of the audience start gathering at their seats. Deciding to take a peek, (y/n) rushes to the curtains, peeking her eyes out towards the front rows, trying to spot the pale boy who danced into her heart. First row, seat G for George, she giggles to herself.
“Trying to find your lover? I’m right here!” Liam asks, with (y/n) turning around.
“As much as I’d love that, I’m no Harry Styles, so I don’t think I’m your type…” (y/n) smirks.
“Hm. Where’s George, I want to see him!”
“I’m looking for him right now, Liam. Give me a second.”, (y/n) laughs as she turns back to the audience. Finding his seat, she subtly frowns seeing as he’s not in his seat yet. He’s probably in the bathroom, or still in line to get to his seat, (y/n) tries to explain to herself.
“He’s not here yet, I think he’s in the bathroom or something. But give him time, he’ll be here.” (y/n) mutters as Liam frowns at her.
“He better show up, it’s your night, (y/n).”, they grumble. They start to say more however-
“Places, everyone! Take your places! We’re starting at seven sharp!” the stage manager yells out. He continues,
“We start in five minutes!” Rushing to get off the stage, she sees dancers brush past another wishing them luck. As the ballet dancers start to move into their places for the intro piece, she then walks over to Liam, helping them set up the microphone as they begin to breathe slowly.
“Hey, you got this. It’s just reading off of cue cards and announcing pieces. And then you’ll be set for my piece. You’re going to do great, Liam.”, (y/n) tries to motivate, with Liam smiling shyly at her.
“And your piece is going to kick ass, (y/n). It’s perfection. Just wait until George sees you dance. I’m a hundred percent sure he’s going to fall for you even more.”
“Yeah, yeah, we’ll see…” (y/n) laughs. Liam clears their throat a bit before raising the microphone to their lips. (y/n) proceeds to head to the viewing room, where a broadcast of the show would play for other dancers to watch and support their fellow castmates.
Taking a deep breath, Liam starts to speak as (y/n)’s nerves start to palpitate.
“Hello, how are you this evening? And welcome to the 67th Annual Recital for the London Dance Academy! I am your emcee, Liam Barrings, and let me introduce you to the first dance of the night created by Sam Hastings. Here is Invictus!”
>>>
8:51 p.m.
An hour later, seven dances, and many whispered good jobs, it is finally time for (y/n) to step on stage and premiere her masterpiece. Slowly tip-toeing to her first position on stage, she glances at her castmates, thanking them silently in her mind for them to trust her to bring her visions to life. Before the curtains open, she turns to Liam on her right, kneeling down and grabbing her thighs, and they smile back at her.
“Ready for it?”, they smirk. Thinking to herself, she nods and turns back to the front of the curtains waiting for the music to begin. Remember the triple pirouette after Liam grabs you. And try to look like you’re in pain from loving him. It is exquisite pain, right (y/n)? Liam is toxic, yet you still love them. Make it believable. And finally, breathe.
Another emcee, Josh begins to speak.
“And now, I present to you (y/n - y/ln)’s dance. This is her first piece with her own choreography with the London Dance Academy, and tonight, we are the very first group of people to watch her story come to life. Please let me introduce you to (y/n) and her piece, La Douleur Exquise!” the audience claps softly, before the curtains open its wings to reveal the creation.
The background, a stark white, yet the lights casts hues of soft lilacs, with streaks of dark reds splattering across the dancers’ bodies. With a small pause, music begins to sing out of the speakers. Liam and (y/n) begin the piece with a small duet. Following closely behind, a quad of dancers mimicking their moves with childlike innocence.
Liam turns to (y/n), conveying an I love you through their linked hands and they abruptly pull her to their arms, as she looks at them with confusion in her eyes and pulling away. Gliding towards the middle, the quad walks slowly to (y/n), enveloping her with open arms, before having a dance section with (y/n) in the middle as Liam looks on, hellbent on grasping (y/n) once more. Every other beat, (y/n) turns to Liam, feeling lost as if they were missing from her.
As the quad looks away, having their own small solos, (y/n) slips away from the group only to leap back into Liam’s arms with her hands grasping their face as Liam slowly grips her waist. Looking at her with renewed interest, his face morphs into fury as one of the dancers pass by her, softly guiding his fingers from her shoulder down to her inner wrist. An angry duet starts, with Liam and (y/n) clashing against each other, as if saying they hate but love each other at the same time.
(y/n) leaps into Liam’s arms, before slowly sliding herself off him as the quad of dancers, follow closely behind, lifting (y/n) to her feet. Everyone proceeds to move as one, with the quad dancing in the center, whereas Liam paces their way to (y/n), lifting her into the air once again, before they land in a small leap. Conversing with their bodies, Liam guides (y/n)’s hands to their heart, slightly pulling her along. Finally coming to the end of the dance, (y/n) runs to the center of the stage, facing the audience.
Grabbing her left arm is Liam, pulling her to their side, and the quad of dancers are pulling her on her right. The war between the two goes back and forth in a tug-of-war before (y/n) seemingly gives up and slams herself to the ground, as the music fades into silence. The audience erupts into booming claps and cheers, and (y/n) feels herself being pulled up from the ground by Liam as a light blush covers her skin. Glancing up at the audience, she tries to smile despite the stage lights burning into her. I did it, I managed to make a story, my story come to life. Hearing the audience continuing to clap, realization sets in and she finds her eyes wandering over to the front row, seat G for George. Seat empty, her smile falters and her eyes become glassy. Some would think because of her success with her piece. She couldn’t tell if she was happy or sad, maybe it was a little bit of both.
>>>
9:23 p.m.
He’s here, he has to be. He’s probably peeing or waiting for me in the front with flowers, or in the dressing room. He has to be here, I know it, (y/n) mutters to herself, hellbent on her beliefs that George is here. Yet the bitter taste of rejection starts to seep into her bones. Shaking her head a bit and attempting to put on the brightest smile, she starts to rush back to the dressing room, a sinking feeling residing in her stomach with each looming step.
Facing the dressing room door, (y/n) can’t help but hope that maybe George is standing there with a bouquet of flowers and kisses reserved for her. Slowly opening the door, her hopes slip through with her mouth curling as she stares at only her reflection in the mirror. He swore that he’d be here. He swore that he would be here for my first performance, (y/n) softly whispers to herself, tears threatening to fall. Gasping, she finally lets herself breathe as she repeats to herself again and again that he wasn’t here.
A soft knock on the door interrupts her thoughts, causing (y/n) to quickly wipe her tears before foolishly yelling out,
“George?”, as the door opens to reveal Liam and the Director himself, Nicholas Anderson.
“(y/n)? It’s us. Where’s George?” Liam asks, a frown settling into his brows.
“Oh, he’s just in the bathroom, he hasn’t been feeling good.” She lies, feeling bile itch her throat. A little white lie shouldn’t hurt anyone, (y/n) thought.
“Hello, (y/n). You looked wonderful out there! Your dance was easily one of the highlights of the night, I couldn’t stop replaying the duet between you and Liam in my head. Your dance truly captured the aspects of a toxic relationship not from one side but from both of point of views. It truly showed exquisite pain, knowing that you would always go back to Liam, but would Liam be there for you?” Nicholas explains, his words smacking (y/n) at full force. Is- is George there for me?, (y/n) thinks to herself. Nicholas continues on,
“I think you are a great addition to our Academy, and tonight truly proved how ready you are to become a full-time member. So how about it? Next season, we’ll be adding you to the roster of choreographers.” Eyes wide, (y/n) nods furiously with a yes and hugs Liam. Nicholas smiles and exits the room, leaving behind two excited dancers jumping around.
“You did it! Now we have to celebrate! Club night, I don’t care. We are going to get plastered! Bring George!” Liam laughs. At the mention of George, her stomach turns as she then realizes George wasn’t here. What sounded like good news turns to rot as she starts thinking of George.
“Let me check my phone, it has been a while in the bathroom, huh?” (y/n) tries to joke, trying hard to not let her voice waver and letting her brain scramble to come up with another small lie. Reaching through her phone, she reads over the texts once again sent from family and friends, finding the conversation between her and George. No new messages, her heart sinks as she slowly starts to open up the rest of her notifications, scrolling to most likely find the purple box that would always stay permanently stuck on her home screen. With bright white letters glaring at her, her heart begins to ebb away feeling a familiar sense of loneliness.
1h, 53 min ago: MINECRAFT MANHUNT W/ THE DREAM TEAM
Relying on her emotions, she turns to face Liam, hoping that her excitement of her promotion would overcome the feeling of abandonment of the man she loved. Plastering a sad smile through watery eyes, she forces out,
“George isn’t feeling well, he’s got an upset stomach. I think it’s the stomach flu going around.” If you can convey pain through dance, you can lie through this as well, (y/n) thought. She continues,
“I don’t know if I should be going out since he’s sick.” (y/n) mutters.
“So we go without him! It’s your celebration, his loss.” Liam rolls their eyes. His loss, my loss - seems like the same.
“I- I don’t know, Liam… I’d want to celebrate with him as well.”
“And I get that, but at least go out with us. You always have tomorrow with him, or later tonight. Do it for tonight, do it because you’re going to be a choreographer next season! At least do it for me and the group. We’ve worked our ass all season and we made your vision come true.” Liam explains. Contemplating with herself, (y/n) resolves with a soft smile and mutters an okay. Pumping their fist in the air, Liam excuses themselves to notify the others of the good news and plans.
Once again facing the mirror, (y/n) repeats with determination to celebrate her night. It’s her night to celebrate with loved ones, even if the one she loved the most isn’t there beside her. So much trying to take your breath away when you weren’t even here, George. Taking a breath, she forces out a shaky laugh and tries to smile. Let’s go celebrate, (y/n).
>>>
1:39 a.m.
Slightly stumbling out of the taxi, (y/n) manages to slowly walk her way up to his doorsteps, phone still showing that George was still streaming. Pausing her hand on the doorknob, she resolves to try to wait until morning to confront him, not trusting herself completely to be okay in front of him. Opening the door softly, she walk in, attempting to not make a sound. With small steps, she closes and locks the door before setting her bags down. That can be cleaned tomorrow, (y/n) thought. Rubbing her eyes, she decides to make herself tea before she goes to bed, most likely not with George until he finishes his stream.
While making her tea, (y/n) thinks of everything that she has worked for in the last few months. Endless changes to her dance, countless small injuries, whether it be a jammed toe/finger, scrapes of blood scattered around her feet from dragging her feet too hard across the floor, everything. Why is it that with her triumph, she is beyond proud yet the idea of George not being there to witness her moment shatters that accomplishment? Mulling it over, she doesn’t notice George bustling down the stairs, finished with his successful 5 hour stream with Dream and Sapnap. Spotting (y/n) making her tea, he slowly approaches her and wraps his arms around her waist, landing a soft kiss to her shoulders.
“Why are you home late, Darling? It’s nearly almost two in the morning.”, George chuckles, as (y/n) freezes in his arms. Softly shaking her head, she tries to side-step out of his arms and brings her tea to the opposite side of the room, wrapping an arm around herself. Clearly, he didn’t remember, (y/n) slowly starts to think and repeat to herself.
“Why do you think I was out, George?” she softly asks, taking a sip of tea to calm her nerves. I guess we’re just going to have to hash it out now.
“I don’t know, but did you see the stream? I beat Dream at the last second and he was this close to defeating the Ender Dragon!”, George starts to explain while laughing, with (y/n) taking a harsh breath in. Pinching in-between her brows, she snaps,
“No, George, I didn’t see the stream because I went out to celebrate.”, she mutters, tears slowly starting to escape.
“(y/n)? Is there something wrong? Why are you crying?“ Turning around, (y/n) tries to look anywhere but him. She settles on looking at the clock, watching as time went by, and her nerves increasing with each second. George starts to say more-
“I needed you tonight. Do you remember what tonight was? To my career? To me?”, (y/n) cuts him off. Standing there without a thought, dread slowly seeps in as George realizes that he missed her performance. He starts to stutter,
“Darling, I- “
“No! No. You do not get to apologize. I needed you and where were you? Sitting on your ass playing Minecraft with Dream and Sapnap! I get that your career is very reliant on you being consistent with your uploads, but you couldn’t have taken a night off? For me? I- ”
“(y/n), it’s not like that at- “
“Don’t- just don’t try to explain or come up with excuses. I just don’t want to hear it George. I spent months working on this, exhausted yet still pushing myself for the damn Academy. You swore that you would be there. I left you the ticket on your nightstand, you even texted me saying that you were excited to come! So imagine me standing on stage, looking at the front row, seat G, and where the hell were you? Not there, George. You were not there. I looked like a fool waiting for you to see me perform and dance. Do you remember Nicholas Anderson?”, (y/n) tries to ask calmly. George only stare at her with defeated eyes as he shakes his head no. Cursing, she heaves out a breath before continuing,
“He’s the director of the Academy, George. He’s offered me a position to be a permanent member and choreographer for the London Dance Academy. So please, let me ask again: where were you? I had to lie to Liam and say that you had an upset stomach and that you couldn’t come out! So, Liam invited me to celebrate with the dancers, to celebrate tonight’s success.”
“(y/n)- (y/n), we can celebrate now. I know- I truly know I messed up, but I can fix it, we can celebrate right now!” George stumbles out, walking towards her to grab her hands. Stepping back, she glares at George, appalled that he truly thinks he could resolve this. Shaking her head harshly, she bites out,
“I don’t want to celebrate with you. I’ve already celebrated with loved ones.” Rolling his eyes, George tries to reason with (y/n).
“Okay, I get it. I’m the bad guy in this scenario. But I’m trying to make this right. I am so sorry, darling, but I want to make it up to you, you know I am sorry.”
“You know, I never ask you to cancel a stream or get off of the stream. I always try to understand for the life of me why the streams have to be long, but I try. I always watch your streams and interact with your fans for your sake. I’ve had to explain countless reasons as to why you never show up to my performances, or why you can’t go out with me with the other dancers. And I am okay with it, don’t get me wrong. I know how much Twitch and YouTube and the Dream Team means to you. But you mean everything to me as well. So forgive me if I wanted to be a little selfish and ask you to support me in one of the biggest performances of my life.”
“I can go to the next one, (y/n). It’s not like it’s the last performance.” George snaps.
“You don’t get it, do you?”, she asks, wiping furiously at her tears, trying to not stutter through her words.
“What is there to get? Clearly I’m trying my hardest to make it up to you.”, he replies.
“I love you. I’m so much in love with you, it hurts. But you don’t get it. I have been there for everything in your career. Your first hundred subscribers, your first million subscribers, when you won the MCC back to back, everything. This was- is the important night of my life, and you didn’t show up. You stuck with Dream and Sapnap and decided to stream instead. This night was important for my career, and you knew! I told you months and weeks in advance. I wanted you to take charge and clear your schedule for today and- and sit in the damn seat that I chose because G stood for George. It was for you.” She sobs out, chest shaking as she tries to collect the words tumbling out of her mouth. With eyes flashing in annoyance, George tries to speak over her tears,
“(y/n)- “
“I created this dance for you! For me and- and for us. Because we believed in each other and had the support for each other. Clearly, it was one-sided and tonight proved that.”
“(y/n), listen to me- ”, George stops himself. Watching (y/n) fall apart, he takes a shaky breath and tries to walk closer to (y/n). However, (y/n) takes more steps back, leaving a distance of hostility and guilt between the two lovers.
“I love you. I love you with all of my heart. And… and I know you love me. But I needed you. Do you even need me?” she asks, the thick silence covering the air.
“Yes! How- how could you even say that, (y/n)?“ George replies just as quick as she finished asking. Looking at him for the first time tonight, she lets out a sob. With cheeks red, hands tugging at his hair, and George frantically looking at her, (y/n) can’t help but cry a little more.
“Because tonight proved otherwise. I wanted a night of you to myself to watch me be pretty and dance, and you didn’t even give up one night for me.”, she says, tugging at her sweater. Looking up, she further goes on to say,
“How stupid would it be if I were to ask to choose between me or the Dream Team? Or- Or your career?”, barking out a bitter laugh as George stares with guilt. As silence meets her ears, (y/n) slowly starts to sober up, eyes slightly widening with shock.
“George…”
“I’d find a way to make it work, I’ve been making it work for us since the beginning!” George snaps.
“George, you know I would never ask that, because I personally think it’s a selfish question. But if I decided to ask seriously, right now. What’s your answer?”
“And I’m telling you, I am making both work. Please believe me, (y/n).”, George says quietly, grasping at whatever opportunities there are left to resolve this potentially fatal matter.
“I can’t tell anymore.”, her voice cracking as fresh tears pool down her cheeks.
“I don’t think I can stay here for a while. At least until I’ve had some time to think.”, she manages to force out.
“(y/n), you can’t be serious. No, we are fixing this now!” George tries to say with an unwavering voice, eyes slowly becoming glassy.
“I can’t look at you George without wanting to cry, and- and scream- yet tell you I love you, even if you don’t deserve my love, especially right now. I need to go- I’m going to go. I’ll be back in a while.”, (y/n) says, choking on her words. Walking backwards, she turns to the door, with George following her and watching her pick up her dance bags. Lying on the ground was a bouquet of flowers, crumpled amongst her heart. Choosing not to pick up the bouquet, she mumbles out,
“I’ll call you when I’m ready.” Pausing, (y/n) looks up at George for the final time tonight, willing herself to not run back to him, despite how much the desire is growing to do so.
“I love you, George.”, opening the door, George yells out,
“I love- “, the door cutting through his confession, acting as a wall between the two. George tries to reach the door knob, ready to run after the love of his life. Yet… he’s frozen on the spot, with tears finally trickling down his cheeks, and pushing deep breaths out to steady his shaking heart.
Why are you crying, George?
