I ANALYZED HAVIK AND RAIN’S INTERACTIONS‼️ ITS REALLY FUCKING LONG FOR SUCH A SMALL POINT TO PROVE BUT!!! YEAH. the ghost of matpat possessed me this is all just speculation, educated guesses and wishful thinking, please don’t kill me with hammers if you disagree with me!!!!! im just a little guy and my literal personal thinking holds no real genuine weight or significance compared to what the actual studio is actually up to or planning
TL;DR: i figured out that rain was not forced into destroying Seido and actually hung around with havik for a period of time before the flood actually occurred— disproving the common belief that rain was forced into destryoing seido on a quick whim of his. if you want the evidence on why, its all throughout the post
for something as major as destroying seido into chaosrealm, I really wish the game went more into detail on how all these events came together in motion. So I’m going to read way too far into the lines we were given to try and make sense of!!!! Something!!!!!!!!!!
SO TO BEGIN
Tumblr media
his desperation is an important detail to consider, but not in a typical way. I should also note that havik’s tone changes when describing him as ‘different’, no idea what that could mean but the difference in tone was def noticeable to me personally. BUT I think his desperation is an interesting detail to combine with everything else —>
Tumblr media
ONLY TOPPLE WAS MENTIONED, topple can mean many different things when it comes to government, BUT TOPPLE DOESN’T ALWAYS (it still can, but not always) EQUATE TO TOTAL PHYSICAL ANNIHILATION RIGHT THEN AND THERE (another common belief is that the cinematic events all occurred immediately that same day or so)
Tumblr media
and going off from that previous tower line, RAIN ADMITS TO BEING A BELIEVER AFTERWARDS (intro lines are post endings). A TRUE BELIEVER. the tower ending goes straight to his flood and his regrets, excluding this part!! I think there was some time skipped in between in order to even convince Rain to FUCKING DESTROY AN ENTIRE CIVILIZATION?? WHICH USUALLY REQUIRES A LOT?? this clearly wasn’t a simple exchange of slaughter for refuge either because that is a huuuuuge jump between morals— especially for a guy who regretted it BAD and instantly too
Tumblr media
this one is definitely a stretch on my behalf and definitely more speculative. seeing as havik just achieved his highest goal of DESTROYING SEIDO, if this was a quick and normal exchange,, why would he care this much that rain regretted his actions + turned himself in? It’s not like rain snitched and sold out havik (for all we know). if there was no actual investment on havik’s side, then why be brought to threats if he’d already got everything he wanted and fought for even if his ideals were also betrayed? hatred caused by the betrayal of someone’s ideals is very reasonable in this scenario, hence me admitting this one is far fetched on my end.
so their futures were once heading down the same path, as implied through the rejection of that concept. the revelation post-flood prompted that break. that will add onto this next part.
SO TO CONNECT ALL THESE DOTS…
rain’s decision to flood seido was definitely not out of an egging desperation! because the ending cinematic only shows rain joining havik and rain leaving as an immediate order of events, its all left at surface level. MEANWHILE the intro lines tell of something happening in between!!!!! its proven by rain admitting to actually believing in havik once. to even be mistaken as a ‘true believer’ of something, thatll obviously take some time (AND ACTIONS) to develop. and taking from their ‘paths crossing’ line, rain’s evidence of being a true believer fits into that concept perfectly. at surface level, it merely sounds like its only referencing rain’s regret + return to the empress for atonement. BUTTTT by knowing time was taken for him to believe full heartedly in his actions, more depth is added and further proves that rain had planned for a different future than the shock of the aftermath. HE WAS CONVINCED. so this wasn’t a hasty, one and done decision becauseee that belief was only ever shattered AFTER the flood, implying he believed in everything he was doing in that moment and prior. ALSO returning back to the very beginning, Rain doesn’t approach Havik with any surefire belief; he only wants safe haven while solely agreeing to help as a means of exchange. why do I say that there was no initial attachment to the cause? HES ONLY DESCRIBED AS DESPERATE FOR HELP!!! so how does rain go from agreeing to help out of desperation, into becoming a believer with full confidence in his actions?? TIME, BABY. that’s the only way I see how. these two mfs had to have been in cahoots for a good minute to even get to that point.
thats it guys thats the post. cahoots

Okay, so Havik is the main antagonist of the next Mortal Kombat storyline. I want to know though, is this the original Havik from the Deception timeline?
Also, just how dangerous can he really be compared to Shang Tsung?
It's unknown what timeline this particular Havik originated from, but it is safe to assume this is 'original' Havik and by 'original', I mean this is the Chaosrealmer that isn't a freedom fighter like the one we have now.
This is NOT GOOD.
Havik is a literal embodiment of Chaos itself. What sets him apart from Shang Tsung, Kronika, and even Shao Kahn is that Havik is completely unpredictable.
Think about it for a second, this is a fighter who LOVES receiving injuries and rips his own limbs off to fight, even damaging his body to gain the upperhand. How do you EVEN counter that?
And with him being a Titan, this makes him even more dangerous than Shang Tsung, Shao Kahn, and Kronika combined. You see, Havik simply likes chaos. He worships the concept of it and if we were to consider the MK 1's post credit scene, it is very likely that he intends to have every Kombat fighter do battle endlessly. He wants endless chaos.
I'd rather deal with Shang Tsung and the others than to deal with someone like Havik. Trust me, that guy is far dangerous than you think.
Potentially, he could be the most dangerous Mortal Kombat character in existence if he gets his hands on some stuff.

So, Mortal Kombat 1.
The biggest problem is that it tries to be both a sequel and a complete reboot. This does not work. A reboot is always going to inherently change fundamental things that can't be explained as merely the result of time travel. There's a lot of this in MK1, where supposedly something is different because Liu Kang made deliberate changes to what happened but that can't possibly be the case and even if it was is completely inexplicable.
One of the biggest issues in this vein is the apparent erasure of Hanzo to make Sub-Zero the Younger Scorpion. Why give Sub-Zero fire powers? How did Liu Kang influence him to take on the Scorpion name and colors? How and why did Liu Kang get him into a relationship with an appropriately aged version of Hanzo's wife, and apparently have Hanzo now be an orphan child raised by the two of them post-game!?
I also feel like Netherealm's read of Bi-Han's character in the original games is completely wrong, but 'll grant you that it did result in the extremely kino shot of Kuai-Liang and Smoke embracing as brothers before Bi-Han is menacingly revealed behind a flurry of snow in the background.
Most glaringly, however, is the Tarkatan situation, similar to how Havoc is now from Seido because apparently Orderrealm and Chaosrealm were too silly as concepts. It's completely fucking nonsensical that the Tarkatans are now not their own species, but people affected with a mutating virus, which coincidentally just happened to affect a now naturally conceived Mileena. And oh, boy, do I hate how Mileena was handeled in MK1.
If you're familiar with my blog you surely know that I have a habit of headcanoning some of my blorbos as being trans women with NPD. Mileena is one of the most fitting. Her huge hang-ups about being an ugly woman who has to hide her ugliness beneath a mask while also believing she deserves everything but especially the love of a sister she routinely tries to murder out of hateful jealousy spurred by the way she was dismissed as unlovable along with her loyalty to the only person to ever show her the familial love she craves is very trans narc coded.
On one hand, perhaps one might view Mileena's arc in MK1 as following those themes through to a good conclusion where she not only learns to accept herself, but is also loved by all the good guys, including the sister she had a psychologically dense relationship with in the previous timeline. What I find, however, is that MK1 completely bungles all of that.
Being Kitana's naturally born sister who's simply disfigured throws out all the reasons she hates herself. How her ugliness is simply something unfair that happened to her rather than a core part of her being she didn't need to feel negative about at all. In the original timeline, she was essentially a mixed-raced child - probably actually a much better lens with which to view her status than as her being trans, but as I'm a white trans woman that's the interpretation with which she endeared herself to me. While a fantasy version of leprosy might be good for similar themes of self-acceptance, to make it a kinna affliction really goes against the nature of her Tarkatan-half fundamental to her origin - a simple quirk of fate.
Throughout it's then treated as something she has to control, like a werewolf might fight to control their aggression, and she just has to be willing to open herself up to allow herself to be loved. This is much too neat and pretty in the name of a "happy ending". Mileena's story was fascinating because on top of the tragedy, she was also genuinely a raging bitch who's go-to reaction was to kill and attempt to forcibly gain the power and love she was convinced rightfully belonged to her. She was messy. The whole situation was messy. Kitana was within her rights to be terrified of and repulsed by her, yet also wrong, because she never realized how badly what Mileena needed was empathy. Kitana and their mother going "aw, poor baby, we still love you always forever" because they've never before had issues with her sands Mileena down into being unrecognizable even beyond the stupid as hell Predator flaps.
As bad as all that is, it's far from the sum of bizarre choices. So many things are radically different but pure cosmetics that are iconic of certain characters like Mileena having a fucked mouth, Kenshi becoming blind, Kuai-Liang's scar, and Havoc's face all happen regardless under different circumstances. Kenshi is the only one Liu Kang comments on but even that alone should have raised huge questions as to how time operates, especially considering how much the universe didn't feel the need to correct.
I also wish Liu Kang thinking he knew what was best for everyone and that it was his job to orchestrate their lives was given more attention. He made Shao Khan a sickly child, Shang Tsung a dirt poor conman, and Quan Chi a slave in order to defang them, and it would have been great if this was used to illustrate he didn't employ his capacity for kindness and empathy when it concerned people he hated most. Instead we're just expected to think it was all totally deserved because we knew who they were in the previous timeline.
Oh, but Rain is a good guy now, I guess, after doing mega-9/11 post-game, so I guess it all worked out. This game flips a lot of previous bad guys into being heroes and it seriously unbalances the two sides.
How it deals with it's protagonists is equally strange, with obviously set-up-to-be-the-protagonist Raiden getting completely meaningless early fights early on and then being forgotten by the plot so hard he may as well have died. Like all NetherRealm fighting games, the plot is severely restricted by their story mode formula of having you play through chapters focusing on specific characters.
It's such a confused mess and as much as I loved the reveal about the villain MK1 is so dodgy it makes me see stars. It's hard to even imagine going much further with this timeline until they do an actual reboot-reboot, which is always inevitable but especially necessary when so much has been changed just enough that it more or less has to snapback sooner than later as IP law dictates.

i just had a random blurb in my head where like.
Stryker: Okay. So we're from Earthrealm. Those guys are from Outworld, which absorbed Edenia. There's also Netherrealm, Chaosrealm, and... Orderrealm?
Raiden: Yes.
Stryker: Great, awesome. One last question: What's heaven called?
Raiden: ... What?
Stryker: Look, if hell is Netherrealm, I somehow doubt heaven is heaven. -laughs- I mean, I doubt it's just called Heaven, right?
Raiden: ...
Stryker: ... You're fucking joking.

Havik Rant + Wasted Plotential and Theory
Tumblr media
Warning: This is a long post, so read if you have the time.
I love Havik in the 3d era, and I guess it's because there's so little of him that sets him up for mystery, but I mainly love his face. The way half his face is ridden of flesh and his eyes glow as if he's some kind of Skeletor adjacent creature. I always look at him and go "How did it get to this point?", but in a way where I'm laughing about it, 'cause what did bro do to his face?
I hope Titan Havik will be a great break from the cartoonish evil that is Shao Kahn, Shang Tsung, Quan Chi and the others. (Don't get me wrong with Shang Tsung, I love him, but his belief system is equivalent to a power ranger villain. He's basically Valtor if he was successful. I'm not talking about MK1 Shang btw.)
I also can't picture Havik working with or for villains like Shao Kahn, Shang Tsung, and Shinnok. Havik wants to spread chaos, yes, but I don't think he views this as enslavement and feeding off misery. Another thing I'd like to note is his voice and delivery, courtesy of George C. Cole. Havik is calm, patient and almost kind. Shao Kahn actively sounds dominant, Shang Tsung is calm but cruel and impatient, with Quan Chi being condescending.
In the small glimpses that I've seen Havik through the later games (before MK1) he seems like a pretty chill guy. Now get this, Chaos is his way of life because that's the world he comes from. Chaos is basically the equivalent of freedom, so Havik wants to share that freedom. In Deceptions Konquest mode he describes water in a way you only expect from a scholar with a love and sense for nature, and I interpreted this as him believing everything should go naturally. In a Christian perspective, humans are naturally evil, and it's in our nature to be attracted to wicked things. Havik wants us to embrace who we are, and our deep desires.
In Noob Saibot's MK9 ending he meets Havik and shares an 'understanding' with him. Havik helps him with taking over the Netherealm before saying goodbye and returning to the Chaosrealm, no back stabbing or anything. Next there's Joker's ending in MK11, and we all know how Joker is. But there's also Mileena (before NRS let fans bully them into making her dlc), whose bloodlust is fuelled by her Tarkatan blood, a trait she cannot help because it's instinctual. Finally, in MK: Deception's Konquest mode he agrees to train Shujinko if Shujinko helps him in return, and he does but in his own way. Experience instead of practice. Havik doesn't come off as evil but chaotic neutral.
Wasted Plotential
I try not to complain about anything these days because I know NRS are gonna disappoint us anyways, but if I was to really complain about things then I'll start with the storymode, and with the previous games.
MKX could've just been about Sub Zero and Scorpion finding out about Quan Chi and stopping Shinnok. How? Idk, Johnny uses the amulet to trap Shinnok, the Special Forces find Sektor's files and reveal them to Scorpion, who gets his revenge and yada yada. Helps them free Sub Zero and Jax, blah blah.
Scorpion defeating Shinnok is more believable since he's stronger and cooler (sorry Johnny), and has more familiarity with the Neatherealm. (What was the point of building up Johnny just to nerf him in MK11?)
Johnny and Sonya get divorced earlier on because of their differing views on the world (and parenting), so Cassie becomes a UFC fighter or a pro wrestler (as a reference to Johnny's quote in his MK9 chapter about possibly winning a belt in the tournament). I remember coming up with an idea where Jacqui leaves the Special Forces and gets trained by the Shirai-Ryu, but saw an AU fanart design where she was trained by the Lin Kuei, which sounds so much better since it separates her from Takeda. Jacqui shares strong ideals with her father but his overbearing reluctance caused her to be more rebellious and find another way to defend Earthrealm without him possibly intercepting. Instead of being a Jax variant she shares more similarity to Human Cyrax (technology + ninjutsu assassination), and that can introduce a little beef with Frost and have them both deliver lines that feel more personal since they have the same teacher, but have different morals that make them butt heads. Johnny ends up leading the Kombat kids with the Wu Shi instead of the Special Forces, edging Sonya to check on Cassie more often by trying to be involved with their missions. (During MK9 Johnny was glued to Raiden's side and his focus was more on the tournament than on Sonya. After Cyrax defeats him it's Raiden that checks on him.) Instead of Cassie saving the day, have Scorpion save the day because Shinnok is Quan Chi's master, and Scorpion needs to fix his mess. Also because Scorpion would have better control with his powers and has more experience.
The next game can introduce Havik, with the chaos happening in small ways at first, like trees slowly decaying and technology acting against them. Havik is a lesser evil than Shao Kahn, Quan Chi and Shinnok, but he's nothing Scorpion or Sub Zero have handled before since he's less predictable and isn't paranoid about someone threatening his power. Bro just wants to spread some joy and laughter (sarcasm). I'm pretty sure Havik wouldn't even have an army, and I doubt his minions will be anything like the aggressive jobbers that are seen in Outworld. With Shao Kahn it's power and being served, but with Havik it would be everyone serves each other, meaning they will inflict pain on each other and themselves = This game can be about the heroes and villains turning on themselves, by being more honest and less co-operative.
The Special Forces start being wary of the Wu Shi, Sonya interrogates Dark Raiden on information he could be withholding about the realms, Raiden counters back with how she is trying to enlist the Kombat kids behind his back when they are already content with their current positions.
Frost has stolen Sektor's body parts from the Special Forces, and plans to cyberise herself with them. Jacqui and Cassie are sent to stop Frost's cyber initiation plans. Cassie defeats Frost, but Jacqui has the need to rehabilitate her, which sets her at odds with Cassie who doesn't believe Frost is worthy of it, and that they must follow Raiden's orders.
Noob Saibot is working under revenant Liu Kang, but just like his MK9 ending, he starts plotting against him and the other revenants. Noob confronts Hanzo about his loyalty to Quan Chi, and how Hanzo worked with him even after Noob was killed. Noob's revenge is forcing Hanzo to shift between himself and Scorpion, ensuring that the Lin Kuei and Shirai-Ryu will never have peace with Hanzo continuously reliving the past and trying to kill Sub Zero.
Kung Lao reports that the head of Shinnok is missing, and Liu Kang accuses Kung Lao of having something to do with it, and so the revenants turn on themselves. A civil war begins in Neatherealm.
Hotaru meets up with the heroes and tells them that Havik is behind their plight, and offers Seidos help if Earthrealm helps them with the resistance in Seido. Kung Jin and Takeda are sent to aid and they witness the injustice and lunacy of Seidos rules. Kung Jin being Kung Jin speaks against this, and Hotaru has a problem with it, Takeda tries his best to keep the peace. Kung Jin defeats Darrius, Dairou and whatever. Although Hotaru keeps his word about the help thing, he is overbearing when it comes to the rules and their strategy, even getting in the way of the Special Forces.
Skarlet teams up with Tanya to find Mileena's soul (Because why not? They're sisters). Ermac doesn't have it, so they must find it through the Neatherealm. They meet Noob, who admits that he consumed it, but points out the location of the Flesh Pits for a calling of clues. Skarlet combines her power with Noob's to give life to the clones encased in glass (blood + shadow). The clones unleash chaos throughout Outworld, but Skarlet is not finished in her revenge.
Johnny reveals to Dairou that Darrius is behind his family's murder, and sets him free to let him get revenge. Sonya argues that he's made a terrible mistake, but Johnny says that she let Kano live and how that keeps screwing everyone over.
Johnny decides to get a drink at a bar, and Havik will show up, calm and collected. Johnny compliments his costume, and Havik expresses that his fake-ness is an interesting weapon.
I don't know what else.
Theory
I think Havik's hero equivalent would be Johnny Cage, which is where he would come in as the hero instead of defeating a former elder god. Havik isn't Godlike, I'd say his power level is identical to Edenian/Outworld, and if Sonya can handle defeating Kitana and Jade at the same time, then Johnny can handle his own against Havik. Just like Havik, Johnny has a separation from the other heroes concerning his traits and/or beliefs, even sometimes clashing with Cassie, who is always noted to be much like him in personality. Johnny has an easy going attitude that pisses off just about everyone around him, to the point . I think he would be the first to pick up on the odd energy surrounding everyone.
First off he likes to give everyone a nickname, much to their displeasure. Very adamant on giving them those names, but Havik would arguably (probably) be more accepting. I'm quite certain that Havik's name is a title given to him or a name he's made up himself. There are some fans who speculate that he doesn't even have a name given at birth and made up 'Havik' to be his name, suggesting that the name is somewhat earned through experience.
Chaosrealm doesn't have a real name, like Edenia and Seido, it's simply called Chaosrealm. They don't have a name for themselves, simply a representation of what they embody.
"Grandmaster Blueberry Ice, eh?"
"Only Johnny Cage may use that name and live."
Johnny's humour is fuelled by his insensitivity, even while fighting on the side of good he is self-serving, superficial and has a self confidence that almost everyone is eager to stomp on (he's basically a normal person). Even when he clearly doesn't mean to be insensitive (speaking the truth or what's on his mind), people still get offended by what he's said and express some form of aggression. Hell, Bi Han kicked the hell out of him just for touching his arm in MK1.
Now I'm going to get really technical here: In MK11 Skarlet was present and you could tell she was a stand-in for Mileena, which is shown in her sibling rivalry with Kitana. Now let's say Joker was a stand-in for Havik, and in his ending he voices his displeasure about the roster "But these nincompoops? They didn't really get me. Not even that pretty boy, Ninja Mine. Goodnight, sweet Prince!" meaning Joker saw some potential in Johnny Cage. Saw something that suggested that they are similar.
Johnny Cage's humour aside, there has to be something else.
Now let's get into Johnny's MK9 ending: Johnny starts to have spasms where a burst of energy would escape him and destroy everything around him, so he is sent to Seido to learn how to better control it.
Next, to Havik and Johnny's Armageddon endings: Johnny becomes enlightened, freed from vanity and leaves the acting business. What seemed like the joys of life before became meaningless to him, and wanted no part in the shallow lifestyle. Then there's Havik, whose dream for chaos becomes absolute.
(As a bonus let's compare Johnny's ending to Hotaru's, where everyone was forced to bow to Hotaru or be changed into someone they're not. Havik gets the worst end of it by being turned into Hotaru's 2nd in command. What's even funnier is that in the Armageddon intro I can spot Hotaru as the one who impaled Li Mei, but Li Mei is on the side of good while Hotaru is suspiciously on the opposite, despite being against the forces of evil. Why would he be on the same side as Havik when they are enemies? I would also like to point out that Johnny was fighting Darrius, a man resisting the Order of Seido.)
I already wrote something similar to this in another post I made like a year ago, but I'm gonna say this anyway. Johnny found out by himself that all the luxuries and fame that he sought in life weren't worth it. In his MK11 ending he ends up going on adventures with Cassie after coming to this realisation, choosing a life where he can always spend time with those he loves, not ruling over the world or being a dictator. There's chaos within Johnny, but there is a want or need for peace and stability.
Johnny should've been the one that was super pissed about being in a death tournament. Up until that point Johnny has never killed anyone, yet suddenly is expected to in exchange for his own life. How does he, a Hollyweird actor, fit into all this? He got tricked into this yet was able to adapt. He's fine with it, or pretends to be, handling it better than everyone else around. The "Sure, let's go and ruin someone else's life." quote from MK9 always runs through my head when I think about his dedication to defending Earthrealm and trusting Raiden.
When the tournament took place Johnny didn't really know Raiden personally, but Johnny trusted him. Johnny had no reason to be loyal to Raiden, yet he was, unlike Liu Kang who ended up losing faith and rebelling. Johnny has all the recipes to let his ego get to him and potentially betray Raiden, but he never does so.
If Havik and Johnny were to have anything in common, I would say it's a strong sense of faith in what they believe in. Johnny fights for the betterment of Earthrealm, Havik fights for havoc.
I'm very certain that even though Johnny changed over the years, the people around him still hold a dislike towards him to some degree. My first candidates for this are Sonya and Jax.
Read this if you can be bothered: [No matter what, Jax cannot stand Johnny, even at an age where they're more familiar with each other.]
Sonya and Jax are basically the order to Johnny's chaos. Being around them has also influenced (turned) him into someone he wasn't, which was a self hating Special Forces aid (What are is credentials?). It was Hotaru's Armageddon ending but slower.
The reason I haven't listed Kuai Liang is because... I think Kuai Liang has a bit of a friendship with Johnny. He's fond of him, but he won't admit it. He even helps Johnny in sending the Kombat kids into a fake mission with the Lin Kuei.

Helloooo this request is extremely self-indulgent of me but. Would you be okay with writing some headcanons for regressor Rain and caregiver Havik (preferably romantic but you can do platonic if you're not comfortable with that)? Thank you so much in advance! I always love your stuff :)
Hiiiii!!! Of course I can do romantic!! I think they're a cute couple!! :D
Tumblr media
<3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3
CG Havik w/ Regressor Rain Hcs
💧 These two guys . . . It is really “Let’s go cause destruction!!” and “Uuuuuuuuuugh, fine 🙄”
🫀 Little Rain is much willing to do shananagians (he’s really gullible)
💧 Havik wants to pull a prank on Reiko? Okay! What are we gonna pull?
🫀 Although when Reiko comes back and scolds them for putting silly spray on his pillows, Rain does burst into tearful apoligize (don’t worry, Havik got lectured at the most since he was really behind it)
💧 Havik is a no rules, no schedule, let’s be as destructive as we can type of guy
🫀 But little Rain? He likes having a sort of schedule, whether it’s a bedtime schedule, or planning what he’s going to play soon
💧 ^ Havik doesn’t like the fact that little Rain likes a schedule, but he’ll accommodate to his babies needs, one must set aside his chaotic ways to make sure both are happy
🫀 That won’t mean he won’t try and ‘mess’ with the schedule
💧 (^ He won’t really mess with it, but sometimes he’ll try to make things more ‘fun’ or extravagant to break the cycle)
🫀 Jammies time? Great! But what if we put our pants of before we put on our shirts? :O
💧 Rain gets really whiny when Havik playfully kisses his cheeks, because either he’ll give him a small lick or a soft bite
🫀 Naughty Dada, he can’t bite people for fun >:(
💧 However, Rain does really like forehead kisses where Havik just kinda presses his teeth (?) against his foreheaad
🫀 It's something he normally does when Rain is sad or sleepy, and it never fails to make him giggly and happier
💧 Rain was really embarrassed the first time he regressed around Havik, especially because of why he regressed around Havik
🫀 Why? Because he got really fussy and pouty that he got the wrong popsicle flavor and coulnd’t stop himself from slipping into his headspace
💧 Havik diidn’t mind, he was already use to regressors!! He watches some regressors in the Chaosrealm (although does act completely different with Rain, since they’re more desenstized to things)
🫀 Havik also got Rain his new popsicle, so no harm was done
💧 Besides, Havik could get two popsicles now!! :D
🫀 . . . Which also made Rain fussy, because he wanted two popsicles :(
💧 Havik laughed when Rain demanded to try some of Havik’s popsicle, grimmicing at the flavor
🫀 ^ Don’t worry, Havik got him a second one of his favorite flavor <3
💧 Rules? What rules? Rules are apart of a social concept that shouldn’t exist
🫀 Except that . . . Havik does learn that maybe some rules should be set in place
💧 Like Rain not being allowed to use stove in middlespace
🫀 Or maybe Rain shouldn’t be pratcicing hard big kid magic while tiny
💧 They aren’t exactly rule rules, but havik will discourage it
🫀 Havik is strong, and incredibly tall, so he likes scooping Rain up and just holding him
💧 Rain isn’t short, he’s a tall guy, but he never fails to feel tiny and shy in Havik’s arms, hiding in Havik’s shoulders as Havik cradles him
🫀 Rain likes to show off his magic skills to Havik!!
💧 And Havik loves a good show!! Luckily one of Havik’s favorite spells is when Rain makes water and puts it into shapes (it’s an incredibly easy spell, and one Rain rarely every slips up)
🫀 Rain likes going to see the froggies, but he’s a bit hesitant to let Havik come with
💧 Havik’s a bit scary looking, and he’s loud, so he scares off all the froggies!! :(
🫀 Havik tries really hard to quiet down and act slightly calmer so Rain can watch the froggies hop for a little bit, he wants his baby to be happy after all (sometimes he messes up, but he’s trying his best)
💧 Rain’s not a baby!! He regresses to about 3-5 and middlespace
🫀 However, havik really likes playing peek-a-boo, so Rain will ‘entertain him’ (he adores it too, but he won’t tell Havik that)
💧 Havik finds Rain’s middlespace super funny
🫀 Like, there’s no reason to get all pouty and upset because Havik called him fussy??
💧 ^ Btw, he was NOT being fussy!!! >:(
🫀 Only babies are fussy!! . . . He was just upset
💧 Havik’s a little more carefree around middlespace Rain, joking and teasing him a lot
🫀 Especially because he fidns it funny when Rain whines and tries to push him away, hiding form him (Havik ruins his cool kid persona)
💧 Sometimes he takes his teases and jokes too far and has made Rain start crying :(
🫀 Havik does feel really guilty, and will apoligize and comfort his kiddo, he didn’t mean to make him cry after all
Rain really likes being praised and babied, even if he doens’t verbally say it
💧 Don’t worry, Havik always makes sure to praise him!!! Like his coloring skills, or his magic skills, or even just how pretty his baby looks
🫀 Sometimes Rain will be really proud in these compliments, other times he’ll giggle and agree, hiding his face in embarrassment
💧 Havik’s a very proud Dada, and won’t hesitate to protect Rain against others who might insult him <3
🫀 Rain isn’t a brat?? But it’s his way or the highway!! >:)
💧 . . . not really, nor does Havik follow orders from anyone
🫀 But he’ll bend slightly to whatever Rain wants (his way of showing that he loves and trusts him)
<3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3
I think it's a cute ship (if you ignore some canon). I like to think that Rain, Havik, and Reiko (and maybe Nitara?) have a funny friendship. But a poly relationship would also be super cute. <3

What did Sikander do to end up with in hell? 👀
Also what's his favorite dessert
I have this idea that, neither Chaosrealmers or Seidans go to hell because their alignment is mostly neutral, so it’s not common to see one of those on hell
However on Sikandar’s case, he died twice. The first time it was because the mold/parasite on his head “deactivated” him, he was dead for at least 24 hours as it rooted on him. And when he revived, he automatically turned into a different being (a zombie) and his intentions were directly affected by what the mold made him do.
The second time Hotaru killed him, like this
Tumblr media
And since his soul was tied with the mold’s, that why he ended on hell. He was an anomaly
About his fav desert, he’s not much of a sweets guy, when he was alive he liked tea with honey and that’s the only sweet thing he would regularly consume. Now that he’s on hell, he just conforms with eating meat time to time (the mold requieres it)

I don't tend to elaborate on my ocs so
Mulumi Headcanons
(that in theory are canon since he's my guy but there's also another people involved)
Present during Edenia and Outworld's mortal kombats, he showed the way of chaos to a younger Havik, right hand man of the commander of Seido.
A god of his people, don't mind him aimlessly walking, he's vibing.
He became a parental figure to Havik once he escaped Seido, offering home, mental support and training for his new abilities.
Doesn't mind people from other realms come and drink the realm's water, as he built a water purifier just for them... however, he doesn't like a few guardsmen trying to take control of it.
Portals around the realm? For visitors, they're such nice fellas!
Chaosrealm's kamidogu is in his temple, unguarded, for everyone to see. He knows if he'd prohibited his people would want it.
His temple is the finest estructure of Saigai, made of a dark marble, decorated with plants and pillars. Tons of waterfalls and a long hallway that goes from the entrance a pool. This small but bottomless pool has the essence of Chaosrealm's kamidogu that taints the water into a dark abyss. It is said that those who are drowned in it will learn new ways to see the world.
Moving statues? Obviously, it's Chaosrealm after all.

What do you think about the lack of importance Edenia have in the last (and probably in the upcoming too) games?
Seriously, it makes me really Sad. Edenia was so important in the first timeline. What the hell happened? Only a few characteres mention this realm in MKX
It sucks. Big time
If you'll note, basically none of the realms matter anymore, aside from Earthrealm and Outworld.
Sure, the Netherrealm exists, but that's pretty much it. Dreamrealm is of dubious canonicity (introduced to explain Freddy Krueger as a guest fighter, then used to explain Tremor's glow up. Given he isn't shown in the storyline and arcade endings aren't canon in that game, I don't feel comfortable saying "yeah. That's important to the story"), and means nothing to the plot.
Chaosrealm and Orderrealm also don't show up despite being neat concepts.
What I'm getting at is that it makes the MK universe feel small. Edenia is only part of the problem, but I think it's a good example. Mortal Kombat feels more focused on nostalgia bait, Realistic Graphics, and more grisly Kombat than being, y'know, Mortal Kombat. None of that is necessarily Bad, but it's making it feel a little generic to me.
Maybe it's my bias and nostalgia, but that's just wrong. I'm not saying they need to bloat the worldbuilding, that would suck too. I'm just saying that they have these fun concepts, could they PLEASE do something with them???
Not to be the "they changed it, and now it sucks" guy, but I really love the original timeline's absurd worldbuilding. That's a major draw for me. Not only is it absurd, but it was constantly rolling and acquiring new and interesting bullshit. To me, that gave it a personality.
The original timeline feels like you took Enter the Dragon, the Matrix, Magic the Gathering, and classic slasher films, mixed it all up, then used it to bread and batter the gameplay. Deepfry that sonuvabitch until golden brown and serve it hot. Its the fried fish and hush puppies of gaming. I wouldn't say that it's Good For Me, but it's fucking delicious.
Its also not widely palatable and, just as Long John Silver's isn't exactly a big name restaurant, MK was kinda in a slump for a while, profit wise.
I think what happened is they cut back the weirder shit in order to make the games more popular. Its a chicken tender now. Not bad, but it's more of a "I'll take it if there's nothing better/nothing else I feel comfy eating" dish. Still not Good For Me, but often dressed up to seem healthier. By which I mean "able to be taken seriously by more people." The worldbuilding is more Serious ™️, so is the Gameplay. Don't get me started on the State Of The art Graphics.
Its all done this way for profit reasons. I don't doubt that folks on the team are still passionate about the games, but you can't forget that NRS is owned by a bigger company than Midway was. There's more executive meddling, so we see less of the more niche worldbuilding elements like Edenia

Decided to give myself a little art challenge and thats to take a group of three emojis and turn them into original characters!
I don't know if I'll use them for anything important but I love them already!!
So without further ado...
Tumblr media
I will probably make more of them! They just fit on one sheet for the time being!
In the image it shows the emojis used to create them! And under the image I'd give a little talk as to how I came up with their design!
Jun Kang
Tumblr media
Jun Kang was made using ♠🔥🐉, spades have meanings like intellect, death, military etc and I focused on the military aspect! The fire and dragon reminded me of Liu Kang (and even though both King Lao and Liu Kang are related to the great Kung Lao, this is probably only from Liu Kangs side) And maybe he was one of the earlier earthrealmers if Liu Kangs family to use fire powers.
He definitely has a different personality and everything other than some physical similarities to Liu Kang, like same length of hair and the same eyes. Sorta like two sides of a coin, Liu Kang is a monk meanwhile his ancestor Jun Kang is part of ancient China military (war and peace).
♠🔥🐉
Kamille Belanger
Tumblr media
Kamille Belanger was made using 💋🔫✨, the gun reminded me of the Special Forces but not wanting to make a Cassie Cage 2.0, I decided to make her a member of the Black Dragons instead since they also use weapons. I was going for a femme fatale kinda vibe, complete baddie.
She might go heavy with the lip stick and mascara but you won't see if stain her skin as she beats up good guys and finish whatever job the Black Dragons gave her. I decided to make her Canadian and found a list of 100 top names in Quebec in the 90s, found Camille so I just change it to a K (because misspelling is kool beanz) and Belanger sounded cool next to Kamille. Also I gave her sparkle shape earrings! Because of the sparkle emoji!
Seriema
Tumblr media
Seriema was made using 🎶💀🫁, it was a bit challenging thinking of a way to show lungs on the design as lung related stuff came to mind like asthma and lung cancer don't have much of a lookable effect so I decided to make her my first Chaosrealmer and make her have semi translusive semi mutilated skin above the chest up till her nose. Which shows part of her skeletal jaw, teeth, and bone, which helps with the second emoji which is skull.
For music I have her a lyre, it was the first handheld instrument I thought of, but I don't think she knows how to actually play it. Because "that would be a form of control over the instrument and we hate control here in Chaosrealm!" Or something like that. So just random string playing.
Saturn (aka Aragon)
Tumblr media
Saturn was made using 🪐🎶🍇, when it came to him I knew I wanted to implement rings into their design so they were lots of jewelry. I decided to make him sorta a noble of high status in Edenia but is definitely not near prince level of highness, but he sure acts like it. A man that loves to drink wine, party, have luxurious things, and more. He knows he got a pretty face, but that's probably where the admiration for him ends, unless you admire his parties. He is definitely similar to Narcissus but not too into himself that he doesn't feel love for anyone, he'll definitely fall for someone for sure but so far every character I made is single and not too important in the world of Mortal Kombat.
And that's all of them!
I will probably do more, I just ran out of space on this single piece of paper. Suggestions are always welcomed!! If you want a trio of emojis (ex. 🔶🍫❤, ☕⬜🥀, 🤡🎉💥, etc) turned into a Mortal Kombat OC let me know! And if you want to try out this challenge go ahead! Just @ me so I can see your awesome creation!
Have a lovely day! ~💗

snow
age in bio when interacting. minors do not interact.
Word Count: 536 | Read it on AO3 | masterlist
Summary: snow on the beach with dairou.
Tumblr media
Dairou had only ever been to the beach once. It was with you, and he enjoyed it. Together, you had both sat, watching the stars with a small bonfire between you to keep you warm. He did, eventually, ask about those animals that he saw. You explained to him the various creatures of the sea. The sharks, dolphins, whales, etc. You also took him to an aquarium. He only slightly enjoyed it. He hated how the animals lived in captivity. Their home was literally a few steps away. They could break free, they were probably strong enough, and no one could stop them all. That is, if the animals got together and came up with the plan to break free from their prison. You had to explain to him that some of the animals, maybe even most of them, weren't prisoners. They had been rescued and saved. Without it, they would have died. Despite the animals being rescued, he still believed they were held against their will as prisoners. You had to further explain to him that without the humans, they could die. It also wasn't safe for them to be friendly with humans in the wilderness. Some animals could have been born into this environment, and not all of them had a good hunting instinct. He understood a little better. You also took him to a museum, which he thought was interesting. He wasn't sure how he felt about keeping the remains of the dead on display for people's enjoyment. He did learn a lot, though.
The time on the beach was rather peaceful, and he wanted to go again. He even considered living there. No one would bother him, and he could go look at the stars. He never thought to watch them. Together, you both stayed at the beach for a few days before returning home. It would be a few months before Dairou asked if you guys could take another vacation to the beach. You smiled and agreed. It was never hot in Chaosrealm, so neither of you had winter clothes. The thought had never crossed your mind when you both headed to the beach. Dairou was the first to notice it as you led him down the same pathway you took months ago.
"Hey, Y/N. There's something happening."
"What?" You asked as you looked at him.
"White things, they're falling from the sky."
"It's okay."
"What are they?" He asked, not wanting to take another step closer. He trusted you completely, but he didn't know what the white things were or what they would do to him.
"It's snow." You said as you looked at him.
He continued to stare at the snow as if it were his enemy.
"What does it do?"
"It doesn't do anything…" You tried to explain, but unfortunately, a better explanation wasn't coming to you. "It's like rain. What does rain do?"
He blinked. He didn't know what the water that fell from the sky did. He nodded and continued walking. He stood there watching as the waves came in and went away. The snow continued to fall down, white specs littering his black hair.
"Does it always snow on the beach?"
"No, it's rare."

Mortal Kombat: In the end: Chaos Returns.
Summary: Kabal holds a meeting with a surprise guest to deliver news.
Chapter list.
Chapter list part two.
After waking up from being knocked unconscious, Kabal ordered a clan meeting to discuss what the hell just happened. Each of his subordinates held their own marks of battle.
“The man attacked us, practically steamrolled through us,” Reported a clansman with a scar running on his cheek. That had been there since he joined, marks of a hard life. Kabal knew all about that, so did a lot of people here.
Kabal sighed.
“Do we have any idea why?”
“No idea, he kept talking about a temple. Maybe he’ll leave us alone/”
A portal opened in the room, and a deeply familiar voice came from it.
“There is more to him than what he has done.”
From the portal stepped Havik. The cleric of chaos, and Kabal’s saviour.
“It is what he is going to do that should be a concern.”
All eyes were on the cleric, silence filling the room until one clansman jumped up and pointed at him.
“You threw my lunch off the bridge!”
All eyes turned to the complainer, finding it came from Iris. Iris was a newer member, not quite settled into the ruthless discipline the clan touted.
“It was a good burger, that’s all I’m saying,” he grumbled as he sat down. Someone nudged him to shut up.
“What’re you doing here, Havik? Do you have a target?” Kabal demanded, not in the mood for any cryptic messages.
Havik shook his head.
“I am here to deliver news. Around the realms have been whispers of a coming battle. The victor will gain a grand prize.”
Kabal rolled his eyes.
“Can I have some details? What kind of prize are we talking about?”
Havik put a hand to his skeletal chin, stroking the bone.
“The precise details of it are scarce, but the prize seems to be power beyond the wildest imaginations. Godlike energy, able to grant any desire or wish. Perhaps able to resurrect the dead?”
Kira’s eyes snapped up. Necromancy was a risky business, but it would make for an excellent addition to their cause.
Kabal was also thinking about the prize. There could be a lot of ways godlike power would come in handy.
Havik noticed the wave of contemplation filling the area and noticed it was time to take his leave.
“Think about it for a moment. Contact me if you want to get involved.”
Havik opened a green portal back to chaosrealm, bowing theatrically as he walked backwards into the vortex.
“May chaos lead your way.”
In a moment of quiet laughter, Havik was gone. Kabal turned to his clan members.
“You’re all dismissed. Iris, get a couple of the guys for lookout duty. The rest of you get cleaned up.”
The room slowly emptied out, leaving only Kabal and Kira in the room. They stared at each other for a moment.
“I’m surprised he got past you.”
Kira looked away, scoffing.
“He got lucky.”
Kabal walked towards Kira, stopping just before he passed her.
“Let’s hope he doesn’t again.”
Kira was left alone in the room, deciding to ignore the implied threat as she headed to her quarters.
She had to get cleaned up.
---------------
Kira sat in her quarters, bandaging up a bruise on her arm. That bastard knew how to throw a punch. There was a knock.
“Come in.”
Kabal entered the room, Kira sighed in annoyance. Was he still pissed?
“Look, if this is about Taven-
“It isn’t.”
Kira looked into the slits of Kabal’s helmet. She hadn’t seen him without it. She knew he was scarred, but surely it had been long enough?
‘So, what is it?”
Kabal sat on a wooden chair, looking somehow stern and relaxed in his posture. He would often have a different attitude when it came to Kira than the rest of his crew. More of a respectful “Teacher and student” than simple “Boss and employees.”
‘I’ve been thinking about what Havik said. Godlike power… It’d certainly make things easier for our cause.”
Kira had to admit, civilisation would be easier to tear down if you could snap your fingers and level it to rubble.
“I was thinking the same thing. And if you’re offering me to join you, I’m up for it.”
Kabal stood to his feet, a subtle sense of pride coming from him.
“I knew you would. I’ll contact Havik, I’ll let you know when we’re going.”
Kabal left the room, closing the door behind him. Kira lay back on her admittedly bare bed. If this power was true, it was the opportunity to finally get what she wanted. True freedom, the power to break down the rules.
And if that was the case, why didn’t she feel excited?

Bi Fang and Havik create mischief together! fluffy/weird/concerning
(Btw Havik might be a lil OOC or he might not be bc he’s the biggest wildcard in the mk universe.)
Bi Fang is the son of Bi Han and Sareena: Info on him (btw Bi Fang is inspired from Richie Tozier from Stephen Kong’s It, he curses a lot)
Once Noob Saibot got redeemed and rejoined the Lin Kuei he cut ties with all of his evil associates. This included Havik. Well kinda.
They don’t consider each other enemies and Havik still considers Bi Han his bestfriend! And sometimes he’ll randomly insert himself back into his life to cause a bit of chaos. He’s more of an annoyance to Bi Han if anything.
(Bi Fang is 10 at this point. And this before he meets Satoshi and Liu Jerrod)
Years later, when Havik found out that Bi Han has a son he became curious.
So, he decided to pay the boy a visit and meet him!
For a day, he stalked Bi Fang from a far.
Havik realized how powerful Bi Fang could be. The boy shared the DNA of a cryomancer and a demon. His ice powers could be legendary. It could be powerful enough to one day kill that bastard Hotaru.
He also realized how different Bi Fang was from his father.
Unlike Bi Han, Fang has a great sense of humor! Havik finds the boy’s pranks on the other Lin Kuei members to be hilarious! But he also notices the boy’s loneliness. He sees how the other children of the Lin Kuei shunned him.
So Havik decides he should take the boy out for some good ol, chaotic fun!
He appears to him when the boy is alone hanging out in a forest.
Havik: Hello Bi Fang, I-
Bi Fang: -AHHH! STRANGER DANGER! STRANGER DANGER!
*Havik watches as he runs away towards the temple. He quickly teleports in front of him and grabs Bi Fang and puts a hand over his mouth to stop his screaming*
Havik: I am not here to harm you! I am here to fun with you!
Bi Fang: You do realize how fuckin creepy that sounds right?!
*Havik giggles and lets him go*
Bi Fang: Who the hell are you anyways?
Havik: I am the Cleric of Chaos! Me and your father worked together back in the day.
Bi Fang: Cleric of Chaos? You sound like a bad guy to me.
Havik: Well I wouldn’t say bad..It’s of no matter. I’m here to see if you’d like to come create some mischief with me!
Bi Fang: Why would I go anywhere with a fucking weirdo like you?!
Havik knew that the boy wouldn’t go with him this way, so he decided to use a bit of manipulation.
*Havik fakes a hurt expression, faces away from Bi Fang and starts sobbing*
Bi Fang: Hey, are you...crying?
Havik: *sniffles* I-i just hoped you’d be different is all.
Bi Fang: What do you mean?
Havik: Nobody wants to be my friend! They all think I am a freak! I thought you could understand what how it feels...to be rejected because you’re different...
*Bi Fang’s suspicious expression visibly softens*
Bi Fang: I do know how it feels...I don’t have many friends either, they all think I’m a freak too...hey I’ll be your friend, just don’t cry.
*Bi Fang hugs Havik*
Havik: Oh goodie! Now let us go have some fun!
Bi Fang: Where are we going?
Havik: Hehe, to create havoc of course!
So that’s exactly what they do. Havik teleports them to America, California where their disruption of the peace begins.
They run around pranking random people and they do every prank in the book.
They Teepee people’s houses, egg people’s cars, put a flaming bag of dog shit on someone’s front porch, put Whoopi cushions on the chairs of Starbucks, put bugs in people’s food, stink bombed stores, etc.
Havoc scares passerbys by taking his head off or breaking his knee caps or turning his torso 360 degrees. Bi Fang laughs his ass off at their freaked out people’s reactions.
They made this really buff big guy scream like a little girl and they laughed until it hurt.
Havoc was so delighted that he finally had a mini me. Bi Fang was way more fun than his killjoy father and uncle.
He would make a wonderful son and heir!
Of course, the cops were soon called on them and They soon found themselves surrounded by Stryker and Kabal, and a couple other cops.
Havik: Allow me to deal with these party poopers hehehehe.
(At this time Kabal and Stryker haven’t met Bi Fang yet and they don’t know he’s the Lin Kuei grandmaster’s son)
Bi Fang cheered him on as Havik made quick work of the squad of officers but when he went to finish off Kabal and Stryker. Bi Fang quickly intervened.
Bi Fang: Stop! You’re gonna kill them!
Havik: I know! It’s going to be so much fun to watch the life leave their eyes.
Bi Fang: ...You can’t kill them...it’s-it’s wrong!
Havik: Come now, Do not be so dull! Just think of the chaos it will cause in their loved one’s lives! Hehehe!
Bi Fang: Y-you’re starting to scare me...if you kill them...I-i won’t be your friend no more.
The chaos cleric glared at Bi fang for a couple of moments before he sighed and released the two beaten officers.
He didn’t want to run the boy off yet. He still had plans for him.
Havik: Very, well...say, all this mischief is making me hungry. Let’s go get something to eat.
*Havik takes the boy’s hand and starts pulling him away from the unconscious cops*
Bi Fang: Ya, I’m kinda hungry too, but where are we gonna eat? I don’t have any money.
Havik: Hehehe, who says we’re going to pay for the food?
So they go to a McDonald’s. All the employees look terrified of Havik and they don’t dare to stop him when he walks behind the counter and starts making a McFlurry.
Bi Fang decides to follow Havik’s suit and starts taking some chicken nuggets and fries. They run out of the McDonald’s before another group of cops can arrive.
It was getting late and Bi Fang was getting sleepy so the Chaosrealmer returned Bi Fang to his home. Before leaving Bi Fang asked if they could go have fun again tomorrow. To which Havik replied, anything for his best friend.
Once Havik disappeared, Bi Fang ran into his parents on his way to his bedroom.
Let’s just say, they weren’t too happy to learn who Bi Fang has spent the day with. Especially Bi Han, who was livid that Havik had the nerve to kidnap his child.
Bi Fang: He said you two knew each other.
Bi Han: That doesn’t mean he is someone good or trustworthy! You know you shouldn’t speak to anyone that isn’t Lin Kuei! You are to never speak to that freak again! Understand?!
Bi Fang: He’s not a freak! He’s my friend, and he likes hanging out with me! Not like you!
*Bi Han is about to scream at his son but Sareena steps in*
Sareena: Bi Fang, you do not realize how dangerous that man truly is. He is most likely trying to manipulate and use you.
*Bi Fang starts tearing up*
Bi Fang: N-no! You’re wrong! He’s like me-
Bi Han: -Enough! Go to your room! And do not come out until I say so!
Bi Fang runs to his room crying. Bi Han feels a bit regretful for upsetting him so much, but he has the Chaos Cleric to deal with first.
He, Kuai Liang, and Smoke go to the Chaosrealm and face Havik. Bi Han is on Havik’s ass before he could even greet them. Bi Han is strong enough to pin the Cleric to the ground and starts choking him.
Havik: Y-you...se-em upset...with m-me, Bi Han...
Bi Han: *growls* How dare you kidnap my son! I’ll rip out your heart!
Havik: W-as...not kidnap, h-he came willing-ACH
*Bi Han tightens his hold on Havik’s throat. Kuai steps in and pull Bi Han off of the cleric*
Kuai Liang: Why did you take him to America? What scheme are you plotting Havik?
Havik: What schemes? I only wanted to show the boy some fun! Your child is a riot! He is the son I have always dreamed of! Hehehe!
*Bi Han lunges at Havik again but this time Havik evades him*
Bi Han: HE IS NOT YOUR SON! HE IS MINE!
Smoke: You expect us to believe you did this for fun?
Havik: ....Yes. Do you really expect me to make sense?
*The 3 Lin Kuei stare him for a couple moments and then look at each other*
Bi Han: I am warning you now Chaos Cleric. If you ever go near my son again I will rip apart limb from limb, and give your remains to demons and they will torture you for the rest of eternity...
Havik: Oh Bi Han, do not threaten me with a good time. Fine, I will leave your boy alone. You have my word.
*crosses his toes in his boot*
Havik was lying of course. But it was enough to get the Lin Kuei and Bi Han to return to Earthrealm.
Havik wasn’t going to give up on Bi Fang just yet. The potential of havoc that boy could unleash was amazing. Somehow, Bi Fang will become his son, and together they will plunge the realms into chaos.
(I’m gonna end it here bc it became longer than I meant it to be. Hope you enjoyed)

Shujinko is an agent of chaos rant
More crap I keep coming with. These are things I wrote in a Youtube comment section btw, I just expanded on it a bit more to post here. I recommend checking out Cynical Warlock, he's got some great videos on Mortal Kombat.
Tumblr media
I wish we were given a story mode that not only reintroduces Shujinko, but also the kahoots he got himself involved with outside Onaga. Like lying to Hotaru about King Zeffeero, and spreading chaos in Seido for Havik in exchange for coins (it’s a tiny side quest in konquest mode where the player bumps into Havik in seido). Have Shujinko be a righteous man who has no clue he might be insane, if you count randomly punching civilians and thievery to be a part of the story arc. He’s an agent of chaos that is unaware of his chaotic side, and Seidans can smell it on him, so a lot of them stay clear of him. It could explain why he turned on Liu Kang and the others in Kung Lao’s ending. There’s a quiet evil lingering, but it doesn’t want to take things over, it just desires to cause trouble.
I hope Shujinko plays a part in the Titan Havik story, because in my opinion it'll just feel wrong if he's not there since he's the reason we know of Choasrealm, same with Hotaru. There needs to be Hotaru, he's the order to Havik's chaos, and Shujinko is the child caught between those divorced parents.
I'd like to believe that Shujinko is also a mirror to Shang Tsung in a way. He (unknowingly) does bad things in the name of good, but Shang Tsung is (cartoonishly) open about his wickedness. Both of them have the ability to copy others, and were promised some form of grandeur, only to be double crossed by the very entity that brought them up. It seems with the mk1 timeline that their stories were swapped. In the old timeline Shang Tsung was a champion for Earthrealm who decided to switch to the dark side and learn soul magic, only to betray both his masters once the opportunity came. In mk1 timeline Shujinko supposedly comes from nothing, and once he becomes powerful he has to be subdued with his memories and powers taken away. He even has the same hairstyle as Shang Tsung, they must be mirrors of some kind.
I also headcanon that Mokap is descended from Chaosrealm. He's some random motion capture guy, but seems okay with the bloodshed that's going on. In Deception's Konquest mode you'll catch him strutting around with a big smile on his face. If you punch him he won't do anything about it, he gets back up and starts strutting again like nothing happened.
