The worst thing about the Watcher situation is that. I understand. I get it. They need more money to do bigger and crazy things and don’t want to conform to being “ad friendly”.
But putting ALL future content behind paywalls is not the fucking way to do it. How about bonus content? Extra episodes? BTS features? Hell, even giving access to episodes early could be an amazing incentive (maybe not worth $5.99 a month but STILL). But putting ALL content behind that? Bad. Bullshit.
EDIT: I have been helpfully (/genuine) reminded they will be putting the first episode of each season onto YouTube, which is nice, but I still think that like… it’s still a lot of stuff to be paywalled, imo.
Again, I fully understand the need to construct a new streaming service in order to try and mitigate YT or Advertiser interference with their content. But. Yeah.

something something blackwatch being more-or-less made up of people who were willing to do whatever it took to achieve their goal(s) bc that's gabe's style of doing things and why he probably got passed over for strike commander position (and why he ended up being glad bc he knew he'd be on a tight leash in the post-crisis version of overwatch)

FAME DR — WHAT'S IN MY BAG !
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
⋆  lip gloss arsenal – at least three, including dior lip glow, a clear fenty glass bomb, and a charlotte tilbury pillow talk gloss for emergencies (aka all the time (and for when i kiss a-listers who are married but my ass DOESNT CARE 🔥🔥🔥)).
⋆  a notebook for inspo – half-full of scribbled lyrics, random ideas, and doodles that somehow look chic because, duh.
⋆  mini perfume bottles – hermès twilly for sophistication, and a rollerball of glossier you because fans say i smell “so human and real.”
⋆  polaroids – candid snaps with my celeb besties (including a blurry one of lily rose at the met gala that always gets compliments).
⋆  a claw clip – for when the hair gets too “main character in distress.” bonus points if it’s tortoiseshell or very very very (triple very !) overpriced.
⋆  sunglasses – massive, black, oversized, and screaming diva. no paparazzi shots of me squinting, EVER. it’s giving jane birkin. it’s giving bardot. it’s giving 60s french movie star.
⋆  phone (obviously) – bedazzled (and almost ripped apart because i’m constantly fidgeting with the plastic edges) case with a charm, featuring 1.2k unread texts and a playlist named “DO NOT OPEN IN PUBLIC” for the vibes.
⋆  gum and mints – both, because you never know if it’s a casual chew or a “meet cute” breath situation.
⋆  tiny snacks – think luxury granola bars or chocolate truffles (or binging on lindt chocolates because im RICHHHHH and i can afford them !! broke people should never laugh) in a satin pouch for “low blood sugar emergencies.”
⋆  a book i can yap my ass off about – something niche and intellectual, like the master and margarita. following it up with, “yea, i read it to impress my deadbeat but 6 time oscar winner dad at 15. alongside with 119 other books.” (true story).
⋆  signed polaroids of me – ready for gifting to lucky fans i bump into. yes, I am THAT thoughtful, generous and considerate. (its giving chanelloween)
⋆  a sparkly lighter – technically for the aesthetic but becomes iconic in photo ops.
⋆  band-aids – luxe ones, like crème de la mer. why? because I’m an accident-prone sparkly princess, but make it boujee.
⋆  random charm or trinket – maybe a lucky crystal or an eiffel tower keychain from my parisian escapades.
⋆  a key — if you get it, you get it. if you don’t, you don’t.
⋆  four painfully ordinary rocks – they’re, like, sentimental, but i can’t remember why. they’ve just always been there.
⋆  scraps of paper – grocery lists, ticket stubs, possibly an ancient fortune cookie slip that says “you’re the main character.”
⋆  4 lighters – i don’t even know where they came from, but they stay.
⋆  6 lip balms – scattered across pockets like glitter, including at least two that are expired.
⋆  4 crystal bracelets – jingling like ibiza memories, pure ✨vibes✨ energy.
⋆  vape AND cigarettes – for when i need options, obviously. (vape in the day, cig in the moonlight?) very much my thing when the moment calls.
⋆  perfume testers – half-empty, smelling like a fancy shmancy department store and a fever dream combined.
⋆  hairbrush – tangled in its own hair because let’s be real, when’s the last time it was cleaned. . . .
⋆  dollar store pens (x3) – two don’t work, but they exist.
⋆  mickey mouse tape – the most ??? item. i stole it from zara home ten years ago. it’s cute though, and i keep finding weird uses for it.
⋆  wired headphones AND airpods – because why limit yourself? sometimes i’m nostalgic; sometimes high-tech. with a playlist only containing my songs because self-love is in.
⋆  mascara and eye pencil – last-minute touch-ups for that award-winning just cried but make it couture vibe.
⋆  snickers wrapper – forgotten but iconic. a secret little "haha" every time i see it.
⋆  orthodox saint anna card – haunting yet sweet, deeply layered. in my life for almost 20? years ! the entirety is in russian. gives edge.
⋆  carolina herrera red wallet – classy inheritance from my mom, brimming with receipts and coins that don’t match the currency or time period.

TLDR for the Watcher Update:
- All episodes will be posted on both Youtube AND the streaming service, but the streaming service will have it a month in advance and ad-free.
- current Patreon supporters will be receiving a free subscription code for the watcher streaming service. If you had already purchased a subscription, you can contact watcher and get a full refund.
- this also applies to anyone that had already subscribed but now wants to get rid of it because of these changes
- they apologize for their mistakes and acknowledge that their original video was insensitive and not well thought out.
- they go a bit more specific into why they want their own streaming service (freedom from being ad and algorithm friendly), and explain that they didn’t want to either conform to those ever-changing standards, lay off any employees, or shut down watcher.
My own opinion on this? This is a good video, and a good solution. They acknowledge they messed up and were wrong about what people can afford. They are offering a new solution that should be beneficial to everyone, and also ensuring that those who were already supporting them aren’t getting screwed over.
While the video itself does get a bit… corp-speakish at some times, it’s obvious that they’re trying to be clear and professional about this.
(Also, side note: not gonna make this a full-on discussion but some of yall in the fandom need to calm the fuck down)

At least with Scoot's song, she's a kid who has a bad singing voice.
With Pinke and Co, that was just straight up wrong
Worst MLP Song Tournament Quarterfinals: It's a Work In Progress
Remember you’re voting for the WORSE song.
Scootaloo's First Draft Propaganda: Sweetie Belle: ''Umm... well... these are... um... good, but…'' (lying)
youtube
Evil Enchantress Propaganda: stop being racist girls :( it doesn’t matter who sings it it’s just. look at the lyrics. zecora did nothing wrong why r u treating her like this!! i’d consider this ‘intentionally garbage’ somewhat, considering the mane six learns to, yaknow, not think of zecora as evil, but it’s still a weird song to play TWICE… it’s not even a banger it’s a pretty generic instrumental

Welcome to Falconreach
After nearly an hour of walking and small talk, the trio came to a bridge crossing a large river. Just beyond the other side, the walls of Falconreach could just be seen over some trees.
“This is the bridge of the hydra,” Twilly said cheerfully as he began crossing.
“Uh,” Velyn said, “why is it called that?”
“Because a hydra lives in the waters here.” Twilly responded.
“Oh,” Velyn said, tightening their grip on their sword in case it would be needed.
“Don’t worry Velyn,” Celestia said with a smile, “the hydra hasn’t been seen around these parts in a few years.”
“Ah, okay, cool,” Velyn said calmly, though their grip didn’t loosen on the hilt of their blade until the three of them were safely across the bridge.
“So Twilly, you said you spend a lot of time in Falconreach?” Velyn asked.
“Yep!” Twilly responded, “I view this town as my home. There are a lot of adventurers that come through here that often need healing or a bit of advice and I enjoy helping them out where I can!”
“That’s really nice of you,” Velyn said, “I don’t know that I could see myself really staying in one place for too long. I like travel too much for that. What about you Priestess?”
Before Celestia could respond, the sound of bells ringing could be heard from the direction of the town.
“Those are the alarm bells,” Twilly said, his pace quickening, “we should hurry.”
The three of them arrived at the edge of town ten minutes later where there were some people wearing silver and gold armor seemingly preparing for some sort of battle.
“Guardian Anna!” Twilly shouted, causing one of the figures to turn and look in their direction.
“Twilly!” Anna shouted back, surprise in her voice, “Did you bring us reinforcements? Wait, is that Priestess Celestia?! What are you doing here ma’am? Falconreach is under siege from an undead army!”
Before Twilly or the Priestess could respond, Velyn cut in.
“Undead? Tell me what’s going on, I’ll do what I can to help.”
“We haven’t seen an army like this since, well, forever honestly,” Anna responded, “We’ve been doing our best to hold them off but we’re getting pushed back with each wave they send. This gate is our last line of defense! Look, I don’t know who you are, but if you’re here to help, follow the path north to the front line!”
Velyn nodded at Anna, then to Celestia and Twilly they said, “It was nice meeting both of you,” before they sprinted northward toward where the guardian said the front line was.
Once Velyn reached the mishmash group of guardians, adventurers and even a few paladins they stopped for a moment to gauge who seemed to be in charge. There was one paladin who stood out form the rest, with short brown hair and a large golden axe. Everybody seemed to be giving him an added amount of respect so Velyn ran up to him.
“I’m Velyn, where can you use me sir?” They asked quickly.
The paladin turned and looked at them with a big smile on his face.
“If you’re hungry for a fight with the undead, I could use you with me!” He said cheerfully.
Velyn’s response was to grin and nod. The two of them ran forward and crashed into the newest wave of animated skeletons that were charging toward the town. They slashed, sliced and smashed any enemy that came within their reach. As time progressed and more waves of enemies came, the number of people guarding the town slowly dwindled as they became injured and had to retreat. But the paladin and Velyn continued to fight, not stopping until the enemy numbers each wave dwindled and eventually ceased altogether. It took nearly an hour and at the end of it the two were left panting heavily and standing surrounded by broken bones.
The paladin once again grinned at Velyn and held a hand out, “I’m Artix.”
Velyn took his hand and returned the grin, “I’m Velyn, nice to meet you.”
Guardian Anna appeared, a couple other guardians with her.
“Did the two of you really destroy the army on your own?” She asked in bewilderment.
The two heroes looked around and smiled sheepishly, Velyn saying, “Yeah, I guess we did.”
“I’m impressed!” Anna said, “There may be a place for you in the guardians, stranger. But where did these undead come form? Ah, don’t worry about that, we’ll take care of things from here. The two of you should head into town and get some rest.”
Artix shook his head though and said, “I wish I could Guardian Anna, but I need to return to the Doomwood. Amityvale may need help.” Before receiving a response, Artix was already headed off in the direction the undead had come from.
Velyn shook their head with a smile on their face, “What a weird guy. Is there an inn that I could find in town?”
Anna nodded, directing a young looking boy with brown hair and what looked to be training armor to come over.
“This is Ash Dragonblade,” she said, “Ash this is Velyn. Please lead them to the inn Serenity is getting ready.”
With that, Anna and the other guardians went after Artix. Ash smiled up at Velyn, waving for them to follow behind him.
“Come with me, I’ll show you to the new inn!” He said excitedly.
Velyn smiled and followed the boy into the town.
By the time the two of them had reached the inn, the exhaustion from the fight had set in and Velyn was barely conscious enough to comprehend the words being said to them.
Velyn awoke to the sound of knocking and a woman’s voice teasingly saying, “Wake up, lazy-bones, it’s time to save the world!”
Velyn stretched out a little bit but didn’t respond. The woman’s voice came again, “Come on, I made you a hero’s breakfast!”
Velyn groaned and sat up slowly, rubbing the sleep out of their eyes and looking around. They were in a single bed in a small room that seemed to have been thrown together quickly just for the purpose of giving Velyn a space to rest. As they looked toward the door they were met with a woman looking in at them. She had long blonde hair and emerald eyes, lips in a small smile.
“Once you’re ready just come on out,” she said, “I’ve got a table set just for you in the common space.”
Then the woman disappeared, closing the door as she left. Velyn sat up and realized they were still wearing the armor they had battled in earlier. Or was that the day before? They didn’t actually know how long they had been out for. Shaking their head, they stood and stretched a bit more before walking over to the door. Their sword was leaning against the wall beside the door, so they grabbed it and returned it to the sheath which was still on their waist.
I must’ve been really tired after all that fighting, they thought to themself as they exited the room. They were immediately met with thunderous applause and as they looked around at everybody that was clapping they figured at least half the town had to be there.
“Oh, uh, hi, I’m Velyn,” they said somewhat anxiously.
The woman that woke them up stepped forward and held her hand out to shake Velyn’s.
“I’m Serenity,” she said smiling, “the townsfolk just wanted to give their thanks in person for what you did.”
Ash excitedly cut in at this point, shouting, “it was so cool! I saw you out there, you had to have defeated at least a hundred of those skeletons!”
A man that looked to be in his forties with brown hair, a mustache and a neatly kept beard patted the boy on the shoulder and laughed, saying, “alright everyone we’ve given our thanks, let’s let them eat in peace.”
With that the man led the everyone out, leading Ash with a hand on his shoulder.

Oh my god they did FUCKIN W H A T IN DF!!!!
Tbh i mainly grind random things in AQ till i can survive an actual fight LMFAO, then when i hit lvl 8 i go say hiiiiiii to queen safiria yet again and become a vampy :3 i go made and then buff my physical attacks bc i keep getting better attack weapons than anything else smfh
But holy shit. I do remember that one attic guy that i had to do some kinda work finding stuff 🤔 I never did find out wtf was up with him. Also that one moglin Fish. He was funny to me but no zorbak or twilly
Robina, valencia and safiria my beloveds i was obsessed with robinas and valencia's minigames on ebilgames. Oh the days of playing monster joust :') sound effects still try to blow out my eardrums 💛

The Silver Circle Character Intros!
I figured it's about time I posted one of these, so I'm doing it for the WIP I've been working on the most! These are just going to be little snippets about each character, so read on if you're interested in my writing or in fantasy wips in general!
Apologies for the delay for those who saw my other post about this, I’ve been BUSY.
Also, I'm going to be keeping this to the core cast for now. Keep in mind this is them as we start the story! Things here can and will change over the course of the book.
The Good Guys
Bran Brightwood - orphan taken in off the streets by Apprentice Librarian to Orulin the Wise, a powerful and ancient wizard. He's been living in the Tower of , keeping things tidy in exchange for a place to live. He picks up bits and pieces of magic from the wizard that runs the place, whenever he’s in. He’s a bit nervous around people, having spent most of his youth and the first year of his adult life in the Tower, and prefers to let his best friend Arryn do the talking. A human, he’s not particularly attuned to any of the cool fantasy stuff going on, but damned if he’s not interested in it. Has read more books than medically advisable. Arryn - Pickpocket, master attempter of stealth, Bran’s best friend, general moron. We love him. He’s been looking after Bran for as long as either of them can remember, and when Bran got taken in, Arryn insisted they were a package deal. After some pleading from Bran, Orulin accepted on the grounds that Arryn not be allowed to touch anything, ever. When that didn’t pan out, for obvious reason, Arryn’s restrictions loosened, though he wasn’t allowed into the Archives. That’s fine by him, though, as he prefers to spend his days down at the tavern or exploring the city. Kyra - A young half-Drakarran in training to become a Pale Warden. Her Mentor, Torren, has trusted her with a solo mission to help an old friend of his. She's eager to prove herself, especially as one of the few Drakarrans in the Wardens, but retains a sense of superiority around non-Wardens. Her work, she reckons, makes her more important and useful than her traveling companions. Mutual hatred shared with Arryn because of this. Throgg - An Ular mercenary recently discharged from the Iron Fang, a guild of monster hunters. He spends most of his days at the Hawk and Bishop tavern, taking on whatever work he can find. Owes Orulin a life debt, though as more time passes without the wizard calling on him to repay it, the more unsure he is about their deal. Big old grump, unless he knows you. Then he's just a regular grump. Aelar Lorhalien - Bright Prince of the Caeloran Dominion, an ancient Aetheri kingdom that’s recently had a coup under new management. He’s come to Orulin, an old traveling companion of his, for help. Obsessed with the history of his people, Aelar has devoted most of his century or so of life to the study of the mysteries of the Aetheri people, particularly interested in the pre-Aether times. He’s a bit snobbish and out of touch with the outside world, but Aelar is fiercely loyal to people who make themselves his ally. Lucian Arkalis - Master Wizard, Veteran Adventurer, and former apprentice to Orulin, Lucian is a bit of a loner. He studies applied magics in his effort to help his teacher unravel the mysteries of the Aether. Not ostentatious like some other wizards, he keeps his robes and staff simple. Spends most of his time traveling, as he believes magic is best used in active help of others. Twilly Whindlespring - Born to Hillfolk parents in a Stonefolk kingdom, Twilly is a product of both cultures. Her Stonefolk upbringing taught her to speak her mind, possibly at inopportune or inappropriate times, but her Hillfolk culture reminds her to always be chipper about it. Picking up a love of cartography from her father, Twilly is on a quest to create the first-ever map of the entire world. She won’t let anything stop her. Trenton Stoneroot- Ser Trenton Stoneroot is a knight. Mostly in name, as his father is the Duke of Ravencrest, the northernmost bastion of the Felean League. He’s noble, reliable, maybe a little too trusting, and dreams of one day becoming one of the Kingsworn, the High King’s most trusted and skilled personal guards.
The Bad Guys
The Children of the Forgotten One - a cult worshipping an old, dead god. One they are not supposed to remember. They will not rest until everyone does. The lucky among them are granted incredible powers and equipment to aid them in their goals. The less fortunate become Forgotten: warped, mindless creatures bent only on destruction. Astrid - the Cult’s foremost political asset. Has infiltrated the Felean League’s High Council and works from the inside, unbeknownst to any of our heroes. Incredibly brilliant and almost supernaturally persuasive. The head of the operation. Gabriel - Forgotten General. Leads and gathers a supernatural army for his god. Is the most religious of the big 3 villains, and is a zealot for the cause. Will do anything and kill anyone that gets in the way of his divine mission. Donovan - Mercenary leader of the Dragon’s Ire, a group contracted by Astrid to carry out more discreet operations. Not too big on the cult stuff, but the coin’s good, and a place in the new regime ain’t too bad, either.
That’s it for now! I tried to keep it short, this went on way longer than I meant it to lol. Like I said, feel free to ask any questions!
Edit: Oh, and for anyone curious what I mean when I say Aetheri, Ular, Drakarran, etc, check out my second answer here!

UNPRODUCED GALACTICA EPISODES!
Title: Two for Twilly
Written by: Jim Carlson and Terrence McDonnell
Overview:
Starbuck and Apollo's friend, Chief Twilly, the only gyro specialist on Galactica juggles two wives: Zeena and Gayla. Starbuck and Apollo help him deal with his complex marital issues.
Synopsis:
The Colonial fleet approaches a deadly megastar with a gravity field that could pull the entire fleet into the star if they get too close. A plan is made to use the star's gravity to slingshot the fleet ahead at great speed. The only ship in the fleet not yet prepared for the slingshot effect is Agroship 3, which needs a special diode installed in the navigation system. Starbuck and Apollo fly to the agroship to deliver the diode. Zeena accompanies them. She is transferring to the ship to be with her husband, Twilly, a gyro-specialist. She plans to surprise him with the transfer. Little does she know that Twilly has another wife, Gayla, on board.
Twilly is shocked when he sees Zeena. Starbuck and Apollo soon learn what's going on and are stunned by his stupidity. Twilly manages to install the diode, and the fleet begins to go past the star.
Despite Starbuck and Apollo's best efforts, Gayla and Zeena eventually run into each other and learn that the other is also married to Twilly. Gayla is furious and shoots at Twilly with a laser, damaging the navigational equipment. The ship quickly moves off course and heads towards the mega star. Apollo helps Captain Demeter to stabilize the ship, but it only buys them some time.
Sheba and Boomer take a shuttle to the agroship to bring a new stabilizer. They have to abort landing, though, because Twilly realizes that the weight of the shuttle would upset the delicate balance of the ship. Unable to deliver the stabilizer, they straddle the ship's surface and use the shuttle's thrusters to try and slow her drift.
Twilly is so upset that he is unable to make the necessary repairs. Starbuck gets frustrated and threatens to tell Gayla and Zeena that he was deliberately out to hurt them. Ultimately, Starbuck gets the women to say they forgive him to get his mind back on track. After that, Twilly easily installs the stabilizer and the agroship is saved. He then learns that Gayla and Zeena never want to see him again and Adama dissolves both marriages. Twilly then radios the Rising Star and talks to his third wife, Vella.
Notes-
This script is broadly based on the Alec Guinness movie Captain’s Paradise.
Two For Twilly was very nearly filmed. The scripts were passed out to the cast and crew, and preliminary casting was underway when it was pulled due to conflicts with ABC over the story.
A young Jamie Lee Curtis read for the role of one of the wives (pictured here from the same era in an episode of Buck Rogers).
There is a chance this script would have been eventually produced had the show gone a second season.
