God, I need everyone who thinks the real killer in Beast (2017) was the Portuguese guy to see me after class
#bruh it was... a racism based... cover up.#it is BLATANTLY CLEAR that they had no evidence against him from the get go.#if they had 'dna evidence' of nuno from square 1 then they wouldn't have given pascal and moll the run around#its also clear that racism Exists in this middle class all-white suburban film. they said 'racist' in the movie.#so obviously when they couldn't get enough out of pascal in 36 hours they scapegoated a person of color who they deemed#disposable.#ppl are saying 'oh if the cop believes it's nuno then the evidence has to be compelling!' when it's the opposite.#cliff was WAY to vague when talking about their 'proof'. which tells me they didn't have shit.#nuno was an innocent poc who was scapegoated in a serial murder case because they couldn't convict pascal.#okay but all that being said i don't mind ppl theorizing about pascal being innocent or about moll being the actual killer#i'm glad ppl are engaging critically with the material#but look at the nuno situation for what it is ig.#beast 2017#racism tw
