For OFMD Tumblr friends who want a S3 and are scared of Twitter

First, no judgment from me. I very much get it. I resisted Twitter for a long time, and even though I'm now a bit more comfortable on it, it's still not my Fandom Home. There are a TON of valid reasons not to be on Twitter, but if you REALLY want to keep OFMD visible right now and help its chances of returning for a third season, Twitter is the best place to do it. Like it or not, Twitter is still the best social media platform for raising awareness and for instant news updates.

Tumblr posts don't make headlines. Topics that have been trending on Twitter do. And if we want this show to come back, we need to make OFMD impossible to ignore.

By now you've probably seen just how close we came to a S3, and if you're like me, you are RAGING and donning your battle jacket. But I get it can be intimidating to get on Twitter for the first time, so I thought I'd address some common anxieties I see. I'll put below a cut because this got a bit long, but I promise it's a quick read.

I don't know what to say! Where do I even start? That's okay! You don't have to create your own tweets (although it's great if you do). Amplifying other people's posts is also important. Go ahead and like/retweet/reply to other people's posts. This may also help you get an idea of what you may like to say in your own tweets.

Hashtags...yes? Yes! Although don't use too many or you may get flagged as a bot. The biggest one that seems to be emerging is #SaveOFMD. Other popular ones are #RenewAsACrew, #RenewOurFlagMeansDeath, and of course, #OFMD and #OurFlagMeansDeath.

Should I just be tagging all the streaming services? Per @renewasacrew, no. It's counterproductive. You'll want to tag one streamer at a time and be specific. Below is an example of a tweet I made the other day -- use specific reasons why that that particular streamer may benefit from picking up OFMD.

I'm scared. People are mean. Yeah, people are mean. But I will say the vibes over at OFMD Twitter are currently the best I've ever seen them. People seem to have united for the greater good and are being overwhelmingly positive and just trying to do whatever we can to save the show. (That said, again, I already had a pretty curated feed, and was very liberal with blocking users/terms I didn't want to see, but I've been able to spend so much more time in the For You tab than I ever have without being jump scared by something.)

But I don't know anyone there! Wouldn't I just be shouting into the void? Not if you use the hashtags! Fans are being really good about following those and engaging with the tweets. Plus, [Stede voice], I'm your friend. I'm xoxoemynn over there as well, I'll follow you back and engage with any of your posts that I see. Plus, what's been REALLY lovely to see is that SO many lurkers have come out of lurkerdom to support the efforts, and they are being welcomed with open arms, so you will not be alone. Again, I am telling you, vibes? Best I've ever seen them.

I can't get sucked into another social media platform, I don't have the time. The beauty here is you don't need to spend a lot of time. I've been on Twitter more in the past week than I have in the entire year I've had an account, and I'm still only on for maybe an hour total the entire day? I open the app, I check a couple accounts, I engage with a handful of posts, and I close the app. It takes all of five minutes. It's an extremely small lift that can have a very big impact.

My bet is on Zaslav expecting us to be upset, and that there may be a day or two of outrage, but then we'd move on. I'm sure right now he's trying to convince everyone that this is a fluke, and that it'll blow over soon. Don't let him win. Keep OFMD in the news. Be loud (but polite) and make Max and other streamers take note of what a passionate, loyal fan base this show has. Make their stocks continue to drop. Make it clear this is NOT just a fluke, it is NOT business as usual. It's a BIG fuck up with lasting consequences.

Twitter, for all its sins, is the best place to do this.

I saw a couple of your responses and totally agree with them! I never interact on Tumblr, but I thought I'd add my 2 cents.

It is disgusting that some fans have been incredibly invasive in the lives of the Drivers. Should they be praised for their driving prowess? Yes! Should every minuscule detail of their lives be dug up and analysed and tracked to the nth degree? No.

The Drivers drive fast cars for a living. I want to watch fast cars being driven. I don't need to know what they do outside of media circus that is F1. I am an older fan well into her 30s and honestly couldn't tell you their wives and girlfriends names except if I came across it randomly, like the name of Charles Leclercs cute little daschund, Leo!

I understand the need, I guess, for younger fans to want to know these details (for whatever reason), especially now Max is having his first child. But tracking the plane? That's a little...unhinged? Look, he's a fantastic driver, and I do not like Kelly Piquet (for many many...ok SO may reasons and her family), but there's no need to blast them on Twitter (i will never call it X, Elon) about how much you hate her or how much you hate him, or both! Or, which other driver has your ire this week. There's no need for it- just keep the opinions to yourself even if they are valid criticisms. Social Media has unfortunately created a parasocial beast that can not be controlled. I took one look at Twitter a decade ago and backed out instantly, never gone on it since.

I think I made my point without rambling too much and not taking up much of your time! I just couldn't go past without commenting, I guess. The Drivers deserve their privacy as much as the next person, doesn't matter if they are 'famous'. However, if they do or say something in public that is problematic, then yes, hold them accountable within reason (and sanity) not go on a stalking spree and look like a complete lunatic.

This is exactly the point! As prominent sporting figures, fame and all the other bits that come along with it are expected, but is anyone ever really prepared to have their life followed so much that you can't even leave the country without your plane info being displayed all over the internet?

Honestly, yeah. Sometimes, online, it seems like people prioritise their private/dating lives over the reason why we know who these people are in the first place. I think some people just need to realise that these men are just that: MEN. People who lead their own lives outside of their profession, just like me and you. There's an awful lot of glorification around the Drivers when really, they're just normal people with an insane amount of talent. (And a lot of money lol)

We need to talk about what happened with Mike D.

For those who don't know, Mike D, co-creator of Bendy, has stated that Thomas Connor is a white man. He's done this before with Norman Polk, too. Because of this, drama has arose which led him to make his account private, and shortly after, deleted.

This thread on Twitter gives details of what happened, screenshots provided for those who can't view it below-

I must state as a disclaimer that no matter what he's like, past or present, we should not seriously be wishing death on him. The person who said they wished death on him has since retracted their statement, as said and shown in the thread above.

The two characters, Thomas and Norman, were nearly universally agreed upon to be black men, and have been implied and coded to be black through their voices, their interactions with other characters (especially in the books) and likely many more things I've missed, only to then be revealed to be canonically white.

Mike D has also stated (correct me if wrong) that he believes minorities are forced, unless the character's identity helps the story. Think of Buddy from Dreams Come To Life being Jewish, and how his religion effected his story.

This is erasure. The fact they decanonised the books that show these important interactions, the fact they led us on, being told your identity or race must serve a purpose in fiction, is all erasure. If you are part of a minority and see a character like you have that part of them stripped away or forgotten, it sends the message that people like you must be censored and eradicated, especially knowing how many minorities were treated historically. Being told minorities are forced unless given a greater purpose in storytelling reinforces the idea that being part of any minority is abnormal and thus, wrong.

TheMeatly has recently addressed that the cutouts used in all games post-BATIM had (accidentally) stolen fanart and plans to use a new texture in future games. This is proof that he has improved as Bendy merchandise has used fanarts without permission years ago.

In contrast, I have yet to see Mike D improving on any of his past actions. I really do hope he does, but right now, things do not seem hopeful. He must understand the messages he's spreading, intentional or not, and improve.

EDIT - There are actually some signs regarding his improvement in other areas. When the KindlyBeast team was laid off, he did make an apology post for them, and his "We make stupid games for stupid kids" quote doesn't seem to apply seeing the M ratings newer games are getting. Courtesy to the other Bendy wiki staff to giving me these points.

However, I do think there's still an issue with how he views minorities. Here's to hoping for the best.

Slimeriana and QSMP fans, we need to talk (really, I'm going to talk about a few things).

At this point I think majority of you guys know what happened with Mariana yesterday (especially because the fliporiana community is small compared to other ones).

I'm gonna write some stuff Mariana said and I'm gonna be explicit about it because I want you guys to understand the severity of the situation (this is your warning):

Context: He was curious to see if people actually posted nsfw stuff about him (and poor boy, he really thought he wouldn't find any).

And I quote what he said after seeing some posts: "No, no, no! Why's Slime penetrating me?!" (He was probably looking at a fanart)

"I'm not doing role like that with Slime anymore. I thought you guys found it funny (he was talking about the sex role in the QSMP) but it only fills your minds with shit"

"I'm gonna say it in English because I know there's QSMP fans who do it as well: Don't draw hentai about me, don't draw us fucking, that's being a pervert, that's wrong"

Some months ago I wrote a post when we got the first warning in regards of this topic.

Mariana and Slime have talked about fanart before and at the time they didn't seem uncomfortable about it (though it seems like Charlie's girlfriend was).

So I wrote: it's not necessary to stop doing fanart about them. Just be careful with what you draw and where you post it.

To me even "suggestive" fanarts are "okay" (but with suggestive I mean the characters looking at each other like they want to kiss each other so bad, that's it). But when and how did that translate to some of you thinking that drawing real people having sex and not only having sex (because there's always ways to show intercourse without being explicit or disgusting) but also showing private parts is okay?

Because it's obvious Mariana saw something super explicit by the way he reacted (because he doesn't get bothered too easily). My poor man was distressed!

And let me tell you something. This is not only about Mariana and Slimecicle. This is a REAL PROBLEM within the fandom. Let me give you some examples:

I love reading fanfiction and months ago I was scrolling through the QSMP section on AO3 and let me tell you something: the amount of fanfiction written about the eggs and their parents in a non platonic way is CONCERNING.

Especially Wilbur Soot's fandom seems to have a lot of rotten apples who think that writing abusive stories about q! Wilbur and Tallulah is fine.

I understand some people write stories like that not because they're crime apologists, but because that's their way to deal with trauma (and dealing with trauma through art is okay). But PLEASE remember that while the eggs are fictional, their "parents" are REAL people.

Use fictional characters, please. Stop writing real people into pedophilic or highly abusive situations. THAT'S HORRENDOUS.

Another example is the following: Some weeks ago people were reporting a Twitter account and I clicked on the account (I personally don't like reporting people without making sure they deserved) and it took me like three seconds of scrolling to see more than 5 Ccs being disrespected (including Slimecicle, Quackity, Cellbit, Roier and Badboyhalo). Explicit Pictures, videos and fanarts were being posted about these creators.

You know what I think? I think Cellbit made his character asexual not only for the representation (it's clear by now that q! Cellbit is a sex positive asexual which is still representation yay!) But because he has been on the internet since around 2011 and he knows how disrespectful people can be. I think he knew that his and Roier's ship was getting too popular and that makes them both unprotected to shit like this.

Sadly, it's clear that it didn't matter that Cellbit made his character asexual, people can't seem to respect that detail about his character and about himself as a real person.

To some people it doesn't matter if the Cc is ambiguous or completely clear about their boundaries, they still don't give a fuck.

Please remember that behind each character is a real person. I understand sometimes you guys want to see your favorite characters fuck -me too, honestly- but for people like streamers that's out of the questions because not only they're real people, but because their work is related to social media and the possibilities of them finding EVERYTHING we write and post about them are super high.

I don't know how to feel. It's obvious that Mariana has not been feeling the same about the server since Juanaflippa died. Maybe this will make him feel even worse about the QSMP but I hope I'm wrong.

Steve and Bucky, after a night's rest, were getting ready to face another day of training, while you, his partner and, indeed, the pillar that kept your relationship intact, were getting ready at home. But in the last few weeks, you felt something was happening inside you.

From the first time you met Steve and Bucky, something had changed inside you. You had always been able to pick up on other people's emotions, their innermost thoughts, even before you learned to control your telepathy.

Steve had been the first to surprise you. In the middle of a mission, something inside you told you that it wasn't right, that there was more to his mind than what he shared with others. Through that connection, you could feel his fear, his pain, and his need to belong to something bigger than himself. At first, you struggled to understand him, but over time, you realized that he, too, shared an emptiness that only you could understand.

Bucky, on the other hand, was more complicated. His mind was a maze of conflicting emotions. Although you didn't know much about his past, you could sense his deepest fears, his guilt, and his longing for redemption. You approached him cautiously, afraid to invade his space, but over time, his heart began to open up to you. That barrier he had always had with others, that coldness he showed to strangers, vanished when you offered him your unconditional support.

That afternoon, while Steve and Bucky trained together at the base, you stayed in the apartment the three of them shared. You knew you wanted to see them, but you also knew they needed their space to unwind.

The first thing you noticed was an uncomfortable feeling coming from Steve. Is he okay? You wondered as you tried to locate him. His mind was agitated, but there didn't seem to be a clear reason.

I can't fail them. I can't lose them... thought Steve as he struggled with his fears. What would he do without her? What if something happened to Bucky?

What you felt was not just a feeling of worry but something much deeper. What would I do without them? The question repeated itself in your mind like an echo. You could feel the weight of his soul, his fear of losing the two people he loved most, no matter what happened on the battlefield.

Bucky is on your mind, too.

Before you could delve any deeper into Steve's thoughts, something stopped you. Bucky's presence emerged in your mind intensely, as if he wanted to connect with you at the same time. His mind was even more confused, his pain more palpable.

I don't deserve it... I don't deserve her love... thought Bucky as he performed intense physical exercise, trying to let the fatigue ease his anguish. How can I be enough for her? For both of us?

The weight of Bucky's emotions washed over you. His guilt, his self-loathing, was something you couldn't ignore. You decided to go to the gym, where they trained to cope with the emotions that were weighing you down. You made your way to the training area, where you heard them before you saw them.

“Everything okay, Steve?” asked Bucky.

“Yeah,” Steve replied, forcing a smile. But you could sense it wasn't true.

They both looked at you in surprise, but before they could speak, you put your hands on their shoulders as an involuntary gesture to calm the chaos in their minds.

“Don't hide from me anymore,” you said softly, and your eyes met both of theirs. “I know how you feel. I know everything. You don't have to hide from me.”

Lemme think 🧐 I do have certain medias I enjoy, but sometimes the fandoms are.. questionable. As in, they're big and usually it's hard to ignore how bad certain aspects of the fandom can be (pedophilia, proshipping ect ect.)

I'll still mention a few, in which I'm in probably or if I'm not I'm definitely engaging with the media or the game!

the one I'm currently in is tawog! The amazing world of gumball. Especially with the new season coming up, the fandom is. Mhm. I personally don't enjoy it, usually it's filled with people who cannot stand that this show has a lot of interpretation and will bring people with different views and will force you upon certain headcanons and deem them canon (which is, personally, annoying. It's why I don't go around too much there. I still post Tawog stuff in other accounts or social media, though.) or people who do not understand the characters, the show is still awesome.

another fun media I enjoy is brawl stars, this one is a fun pvp mobile game. you can enjoy it without playing but I think it's more fun if you do build your own little account in there. The lore is vague but creepy enough to explore, especially now since we're gonna get something lore related ! (Maybe not big or anything, but hey. I won't complain too much)

and! If you're someone who particularly cares, the cast seems to have a bunch of diversity! Characters that speak other languages like Italian, Spanish, Korean, japanese, swedish ect., disabled characters, black characters and non human characters with a lot of creativity!

The fandom is. Mhm. Not one I particularly engage with, I have a few friends to have fun with it but the fandom is kinda. There (biased, usually weirdly abelist or racist, or straight up preferenced based on pretty privilege.)

The game is still worth a shot.

I don't post much about it, nor I draw too much about this game but hey, it's still a fun game.

Mhm, maybe FOP? Fairly odd parents. the original show kinda went into shit with the writing, I can only enjoy the pilot and season one, but! The new show, a new wish, is very fun! the characters aren't as insufferable as they became in the original.

I usually hang in the Twitter side, I haven't posted in a while but hey, I still find it fun! lots of cool ideas.

Kindergarten? Maybe? I actually have NO idea if the game has a big fandom, but! The game's fun as hell. the GAMES, actually, we got three!

deltarune! Basic, but hey. I'm there. Not as active as I used to be, but I'm there.

this time I've seen lots of fun stuff, the game itself and the fandom are a blast to be around (especially considering how the Undertale fandom used to be, this is something way more enjoyable)

Batim, even. Bendy and the ink machine. It's a personal favorite, I can't guarantee the media itself is peak cinema because it has it's little flaws (especially gameplay wise, for me) but I still hold it close to me.

I haven't checked the fandom in ages but! I remember I used to have fun in it, lots of it.

Cuphead is also there for nostalgia, haven't checked anything since the dlc and the show but hey. It's still a good fandom to me, one of the best surprisingly.

But it's probably because I haven't went in too deep with it

I'm unsure about this one not because it's a bad fandom, it's because I always found the media a little touchy to mess around too much.

it's still a very important part of Chinese culture, history and literature and messing around too much when you don't know what you're doing has always been a fear of mine.

Can't guarantee I do know what I'm doing 100%, especially since I used to post a lot when I was 15.

I still recommend it, both fandom and the book, but be careful!

mhm. Look outside? A body horror + cosmic horror rpg I've been getting into lately, I'm still figuring things out but I think this fandom is not too bad. Also the media itself looks charming.

This one, I've never lingered too close about the fandom, but the game's wonderful. Still wakes the deep. It has to do with body horror and something something about the sea.

mhm, lackadaisy? I don't think I've seen much about the fandom but it seemed really fun.

I recommend reading the webcomic first and then the animated series though!

maybee..Digital Circus? granted the fandom has been getting on my nerves recently with the new episode but hey, what can I say, it happens too many times to deem it a digital circus fandom only event.

ah, I'd recommend dsmp but only the las nevadas side, I remember I used to have much much fun in it. Along with scu! And no, it's not sonic. It's slimecicle cinematic universe! When I was younger (13-14ish) I used to go crazy over it, my main Tumblr account is built upon these two medias!

Dsmp is still a guilty pleasure, that and inky mystery (the AO3 remake, the super long one with over 200+ chapters.) I fear. Because of the very negative reputation they have, and in im I do not blame them! (Especially with im getting...not so fun to read, anymore. Don't tell them I said that!)

mmhmm, not sure about the fandoms but these are games I cherish even if it's been years.

Mad father, undertale, inside, papers please, Doki Doki literature club, outlast, little nightmares, night in the woods, Fran bow, little misfortune, limbo, amnesia the bunker, bioshock, alien isolation and ena dream bbq. I think that's it!

I'm unfortunately the idiot who gets into pretty popular stuff, so if these are all things you already know or are into then I'm sorry 💔

I still think these are all things you should look into, they're famous and probably old as hell but they're nice nonetheless.

Also, special mentioning! Pressure. Not a fan of it, but I have friends in it. I'm mentioning it only because I know one of the characters, Sebastian, is heavily inspired by snatcher! So the personalities do match. If you enjoy weirdos like that.

I'd say also arcane or mouthwash but both have pretty specific themes that I don't think neither fandoms managed to handle, considering they're very complex situations with tons of perspectives and it's hard to pin point who is truly in the wrong (aside one character, that one character in mouthwash needs to die and I'm glad he ended the way he did.)

(man I've reached the limit to the tags, sorry for the fandoms I didn't put there. Also watch out for a lot of these bad boys, they've got pretty heavy themes. Especially outlast!)

On that Assassin's Apprentice retumble:

The Fitz and the Fool books were HUGE to me (don't make me look up what we're calling the series now, it's too complicated - I mean the whole thing). Bear in mind I hadn't even HEARD the word 'non-binary' when I read the first 3 trilogies.

So 18 year-old me is reading this book leant to her by her kind-of-sexist friend (bear in mind, just about everybody was by today's intersectional feminist standards, and, yeah, it was distressing to go to uni and find that everyone was Still Like That; he was slightly more so than others, but hey, at least he never sexually harassed me!) and I was excited by the diverse gender roles on display, although I worried that Fitz was a bit stereotypically macho. And the friend was like: what? No. I found him weirdly feminine! And I am like:

You mean the guy who fights with an axe and gets, like, blood rage, and blood lust and runs about with a wolf and is constantly working out and fighting people? That guy?

And he was like, yeah, he's so emotional!

You mean, he has depression, on account of his fucked up life, which we only know about because we're inside his head, because he literally never talks about his feelings to anyone, until he just explodes suddenly and kind of scares people??

And anyway, I think this guy was more bothered by women being in the guard and generally allowed to not be feminine (while some definitely were!) and was looking for stuff to object to about Fitz, but it was the first example of many things that cis people have said about these books that angered and confused me.

Years later, when Fool's Fate came out, I was at the house of a friend who also loved these books and she was like (vague spoiler), 'Well, at least we finally got an answer about what gender the Fool is.

(This is about the fact that Fitz briefly embodies the Fool's body and still treats him as male.) And I was like... I do not read that passage the same way as you. At all. I hope Hobb never commits to saying what the Fool 'really' is.

My friend did not understand this.

Neither of us had heard the term non-binary yet, but I was clearly yearning to read the Fool that way and she was clearly glad to have something she could read as settling the matter in favour of a single, binary gender.

And now, in the fullness of time, with the latest trilogy, it's not just confirmed, but we have another non-binary character, one who is clearly genderfliud and uses different pronouns much more liberally than the Fool. And Chade is much more clearly acknowledged as purposefully cross-dressing (I don't personally read him as a trans woman, but it is clear that he enjoyed wearing women's clothes and appearing as a woman and it wasn't just to spy; he might be an egg that doesn't crack until very, very late in life, but I prefer to read him as the kind of non-binary that wasn't able to express themselves fully until so late that they don't really know what they are, but they're relieved to finally just live as themselves). I mean, you can't see him emerging from that very long, shadowed life where he literally lived within the walls, suddenly situated in the context of a bunch of gay and non-binary people, without seeing this as a kind of metaphor for coming out of the closet. (I mean, you can, because I only just articulated it to myself, but now it just seems so obvious.)

Meanwhile, my cis friends are just taking Fitz's obvious homophobia and cis-sexism at face value, as if he wasn't a classic unreliable narrator, whose whole life has been about lying - especially to himself!

And then we have the blogger dude in the early years of Twitter who used to read my book reviews and showed up to say that he'd noticed that all the women he knew preferred the first trilogy over the Rainwild Traders stuff, and he thought those were objectively better books, and it was interesting that women preferred the book with the male protagonist, and it someone should really do a study on that and I... just...

So, yeah, these books meant a lot to me before I could even fully articulate WHY. And yet cis people have been able to read them and completely explain away or negate what Hobb was doing with gender, because it didn't fit their world views, so they could carry on projecting their biological essentialist fantasies onto books that really are very clear that that is not what is going on.

Anyway, I don't think you can read those books now and understand the experience of what it was like to read them in the 90s and 00s, as they came out. Maybe a modern youngster would be annoyed that the Fool isn't canonically confirmed as non-binary earlier, IDK, but a lot of us just did not have the LANGUAGE to state this stuff that plainly back then. I certainly didn't.

And tbh, having found books that didn't tacitly assume gender essentialism, I have found it much harder to trust that new books will be as refreshingly safe as I found Hobb's.

Introducing your station master & Magma event host!

Since there's already a lot of passengers visiting this station and I haven't spared much time to get to know my fellow submas fans over Tumbrl yet, an introduction would be in place!

I'm Jun, nice to meet you! *offers a hand for for a shake* I am a devoted submas artist & a monthly Magma event host! I go by ChooChooBoss everywhere (Twitter/Bsky/Twitch/Ko-Fi)!

This will be a long post! I will write a short intro as well which you can just skim through but here is a more in depth view how I got into submas, my other interests and life in general, in case you'd wish to know more about your conductor on this silly train!

How did I get into submas in the first place?

PLA. I met this certain mysterious & cool fellow time traveler and got curious! After the cave scene I went to read his Wiki, found out about Emmet, and... yeah. The emotional impact blasted me right out of a miserable cycle I was going through back then and set my soul on fire!! A month later I set up my first art account on Twitter, and the rest is history. They've become my greatest source of strength and inspiration and I enjoy drawing them every single day!

I love both twins very much! I tend to vibe with Ingo a little more than Emmet, but I draw Emmet more. People say I remind of butler Ingo the most, hehe. I certainly don't mind because I'm a big fan of butlermas!! In fact I got into submas & started playing Pokémon Masters EX in April 2022, a week before butler Ingo banner rolled in, so they truly got a special place in my heart ahah! (pssst draw more butlermas for me pls pls pls-)

However I don't draw warden Ingo as much as I would like to. I still get pretty emotional over his fate ahah, I can't draw him without a single tear! This sweet & kind man leading a good life and being an inspiration to others has been torn from literally everything he had for seemingly no reason apart from his name, clothes and the muscle memory and even those are barely intact. It seems like a miracle he's still standing and breathing after put through everything judging by the wear and tear on his uniform and body. Despite all that he carries a positive attitude, assists everyone in need, and does his best to help people and pokémon understand each other, unconditionally... Oh, my face is wet again...

My other interests besides submas?

Monster Hunter! Zelda! Genshin Impact! Super Mario! Trine! Crash Team Racing! And many many more! My favourite genres are platformers, kart racers, and action games, with a side of rhythm games. I'm a big fan of co-op games! I also watch my sis play JRPGs!

Monster Hunter is the dearest to me out of all. I've been hunting for well over a decade starting from MHFU. The games have charmed me with their incredibly satisfying combat system, world building, creature design, great attention to detail, character customisation and the games being nearly fully co-op!!

Other things I do:

Pokémon is practically the only turn-based game I enjoy, mainly because of the characters and collection aspect. However!! I adore Pokémon Colosseum (the first pkmn game I ever played!) and it's double battle focus, so The Indigo Disc has been a delight after the long starvation for double battles, coming up with different combinations makes the battles much more fun to me!!... I sound like Emmet here do I ahahah! We also share the fact we are both left-handed!

Shuffle dancing, daily pull-ups, and expanding my ever growing VGM collection! I also enjoy traveling and taking photos to keep as a diary! I've played piano in a music school for 9 years, and I can also play kalimba. I've done casual boxing, gymnastics, horse riding and medieval swordfighting. I used to read comics/manga and watch movies and anime but nowadays I barely do that, I just rather use that time for drawing instead of just sitting and watching, unless I have company!

I share the apartment with my anxious brother and our two sweet female cats, Laku (11, stubborn and cuddly) and Kalevi (21, demanding and full of love) in a city center. My parents are both entrepreneurs and run a farm in the countryside & I have 4 siblings with me as the middle kid!

Where can you meet me?

I am a game artist by profession, with 4 yrs of studies and roughly 7 years of EXP in the field doing game art, UI design, character/prop design, in mobile games as well as PC titles, 2D and 3D. At the moment I am looking for work; I keep up the motivation and learn new skills by running my art accounts while looking for new opportunities.

I hail from the land of darkness, snow, salmiakki, metalheads and renownly reserved people, Finland! (UTC+2)

Despite having my roots here I am pretty much the opposite of a typical Finn in almost every sense ahah! I'm a small guy who's not afraid talking to strangers and laughs a lot. And I dislike coffee for the contrary, it's very popular amongst finns.

About my social battery:

I'm both social and socially anxious ahah! I love making new friends and talking to all sorts of people and writing comments, and gathering together with my mutuals to do cool stuff together! However my social battery is very small... I often struggle with my AD(H)D and anxiety issues, so my replies can be extremely slow. I'm easily overwhelmed when life gets busy and I deal with it by withdrawing to minimise the the stimuli and then sorting my stuff out one by one. This is a frustrating shortcoming, but I'm working hard to find a balance I can maintain without getting exhausted. Please be patient with me! If you don't hear from me in a while, please don't take it personally! In fact, it makes me really happy if you contact me, for any purpose!

Which pronouns do I go with?

I go by they/them! I am also aroace, so if I appear to show any sort of romantic interest, it's definitely not that. I love meeting new people and am quite interested in people in general so I'm excited to get to know you better, but the thing is... I have been confusing people on several occassions for saying things that could be taken as flirting. I am terribly sorry for that, that's just the way I show how I care!

I don't really identify myself by any specific gender either, but rather by my roles or interests (Magma host, submas fan, game artist etc.). Submas encouraged me to enjoy dressing formally even if I'm just sitting at home, because I love formal clothing in general and wearing them makes me feel confident and stand taller! I usually wear collar shirts and black or white slacks.

More about my AD(H)D:

I don't have an official diagnosis but deal with the same problems as AD(H)D people do; poor work memory, dissociation, hyperfocus (drawing and people), sleep deprivation, impulsiveness (juggling too many things and going with the wind), getting sensory/information overloads, and feeling like I don't fit in. I figured it out after I finished school & lost my job for that I am unable to handle big tasks without anyone giving me directions. It has taken a while but I've figured out things that help me manage my daily life as well as have a medication that mainly boosts my capability to get things started which is another great struggle ahah.

How do I manage to keep myself on track?

I use a Pomodoro timer to keep up a good flow and remember to take breaks! This is what I use the most:

I should set it up on my tablet as well. I think it's really cool to see how many hours I have actually put into drawing! Last year I clocked in well over 3k hours, ahaha!

How to catch me?

Right now I have great difficulty managing replies, but usually you can reach me by DMs! I check Discord and Twitter the most often! However I must ask you to respect my current DNI status. It means I am really overwhelmed so I wish nobody comes asking for my attention until it has been lifted, unless it's really necessary. I really love talking to you all but I also have to accept and deal with my own limits strictly like this or it won't work out.

What am I working on at the moment?

Besides the holiday set I have several short comics under works as well as one big comic (100+ pages!). That one is my personal greatest goal! I started working on it in June 2022 and I have currently 40+ pages sketched and 60+ thumbnailed.

I was afraid of starting any comic projects before submas, but the sheer excitement over them carried me over that personal wall ahah!

The story's beginning and end are looking good and somewhat functional but there's still a lot to work to do and holes to fill in the middle before I dare to start fleshing out the pages. I have little experience in writing or comic making so I hope you forgive if some things don't make sense or the dialogue is a little on the nose so to say ahah!

The story will be packed with action with the overall tone being on the darker side, but it sure won't be lacking in humor! The project's main goal is to make it a celebration of all things submas & to prove to myself I can handle a big scale project despite my shortcomings!

Jess Moloney: The Attention Grabbing Liar

Not too long ago Jess Moloney went on a trip to Hawaii. She was seemingly only there for a couple of days but she was there. Over the 2-3 days she was visiting she made sure to go out of her way to post about it on UK time. Specifically around 8am UK time because that's where Jamie is currently living and since he still follows her account (for some unknown reason) it's obvious she was trying to get his attention. She was also sure to show off what looks like a new boob job. Though, I suppose we can't say for certain she got a breast enlargement the pictures of her breasts over the years would denote that she definitely had work done not once but twice.

There isn't really proof that she got work done other than the idea that boobs don't naturally become bigger and bigger like this over time, nor do they ever usually round themselves out into perfect looking globes without some help. However, I guess this is just speculation on my part. 

What's not speculation is the time she spent in Hawaii seemingly uploading exactly at the right time to make sure Jamie would see her story first thing in the morning when he was in the UK. There's no telling if he ever did see the stories, as he seemed to be very busy with his new girlfriend, Elena Taber, but that is really the only logical reason for her to have been posting them on that scheudle. Considering Jess's alleged work history and her alleged job being suspicious at best, who was funding this trip? Jess herself? Someone else? Did she get Jamie to pay for it? Yet, at the end of the day, Jamie left her. They are obviously broken up. Theories of when they broke up range from late 2023 to sometimes in 2024, and this whole time she's been trying to either pretend they are still together or attempting to get his attention. I don't think it's worked the way she wanted since as you can see for yourself he did not comment or like the Hawaii post and I think enough time has passed to safely say he doesn't intend to like it or comment on it. Not that he has time with how super active he is on Elena's account with all of his love messages to her. 

Of course, Jess doesn't want to stand for this because (if I had to guess and this is just a theory) her entire life was destroyed once he left. She knows that without being connected to him she has nothing. Her fame goes completely out the window. Getting him back means everything to her and she's probably going to stop at nothing to attempt that. Yet, at the same time, she does keep ramping up the IG stories about abusive relationships. This is, seemingly, in an attempt to get Jamie's fans riled up with the idea that he was abusive to her. Something I already talked about her doing in another blog post. 

In an IG story posted just a few days prior to me writing this, she had this up. It seemingly did it's job since it got at least one Jamie fan to post on twitter asking if they think Jess means Jamie was abusive. 

Though Jess isn't outright saying anything about this, she is, in a very heavy way implying this is the case and this is exactly what she wants. Oddly enough, she also seems to still want people to think she's with Jamie and also is maybe doing sponsored posts now? It's hard to tell because of how exactly all of that went down. Now, Elena Taber is an actual influencer (who is pretty much exactly like Jess when it comes to her personality and how she's using Jamie for clout) but she does tons of sponsored posts. Especially about outfits and such that she wears and has been sent by various companies. 

It's rather interesting the similarities between Elena and Jess's posts here isn't it? Now, Jess was an IG story but she did "tag the brand" (Legends). I have that in quotes because it's not a real tag. She removed the tag. It looks like she's tagging them, sure, but if you were to try to tap on the link when it was up, it went nowhere. I checked the actual page for that brand and they don't seem affiliated with her at all and they didn't repost her story. Jess's friend who sent her these clothes was also tagged and did repost Jess. Was this an attempt to be a sponsored post like Elena? An attempt to get a sponsorship? Why is it so similar to Elena's post, which actually is sponsored. Similar outfit, both of them posting on a balcony. You can't tell me she's not trying to copy Elena. Though why she's attempting to act sponsored (or get sponsorship) or whatever this is, I don't know. Maybe she's not trying to do that, but if she is, why? Doesn't she have a job? Isn't she supposed to be working with super high profile A-list celebrities and making tons and tons of money? Why would someone like that need to be doing sponsored posts (or be trying to get a sponsorship?). Jess is supposed to already be a successful and "wealthy" business woman right? 

So we can look at this a few ways: 

Either she's trying to copy Elena, for some reason, though I don't really know why other than she thinks that it will make Jamie come back to her. 

She's not got the job she claims to have so she's attempting to be sponsored by a brand (or actually sponsored by them). 

Whatever the case here is, since there's no way to really know the answer and all of this is just theories and speculation, something is odd about Jess. She would be better off cutting her losses and just facing up to the fact that she already stole Jamie's house (and apparently a lot of his friends) and he's not going to come crawing back to her. She had her chance and it's over. I just hope that my theory about her coming out to say he was abusive isn't true. She could really destroy his life if she wanted to and it looks like she's approaching that as more and more time passes with her little tricks and games not working to get Jamie's attention back.

then to continue she posted this (again taken from twitter) from an israeli whose entire account is dedicated to zionism. they even called free palestine protests a call for violence against jews which is obviously bullshit. again, i couldn't find this specific post but i also couldn't spend too much time on the page, it started to make me feel literally sick

that is all i could find in terms of her being a zionist but i dont think reposting one free palestine post from what seems to be a mostly meme account with no real direct help (such as ways to donate or more information on what is happening) reverses all the other things she has done

i also found other things about odessa but it's nothing i can confirm without another deep dive and honestly im tired of this 😭 but for full transparency she is said to support people who have committed sa (which i do believe because she follows amy schumer who has openly admitted to assaulting her younger sister), that she is a drunk driver and that she is xenophobic

also one last thing:

do not look up to any celebrity. to go off on a little tangent i used to write fanfiction for footballers, and then a whole slew of them came out and supported a rapist. i was so disappointed but it really taught me a lot about supporting celebrities. im not saying you can't be a fan of someone but just remember that they definitely have viewpoints you disagree with and are bound to disappoint you.

it's the main reason why this is a rafe blog and not a drew blog. rafe is fictional. when drew does something wrong i can very easily separate myself from that. i couldn't with my football blog because it was directly about the real people.

One more thing about Vivziepops or speaking of Vivziepops I've been hearing a lot of people saying that their writing sucks? And you know certain fans have been leaving the fan base Especially this one guy Somebody named sarcastic chorus hell a boss Fanbase

I mean, their opinions are valid I do agree with some things and some things I don't agree with I'm just like I'm not really that of a hardcore fan with these two series I'm just a casual watcher I mean if the show is not picking your interest anymore and then man just leave find something better if someone doesn't care to your needs or what you want then just leave no point of wasting your energy on it sometimes Maybe you might find something way more better out there.

I don't know who that person is, but I won't be the first hazbin/helluva fan who will say we know the writing isn't perfect and that both series have flaws, but I also think the series good points make the flaws not a down point. Everyone is allowed to think differently and everyone's critism and praise is valid, trough I do think a lot of the people who hate it when helluva boss got more serious and emotional (drama) are just too used to american animated series where caring is seen as cringe, (see South Park and Family Guy.) personally, I love the drama, I love it when characters aren't just one-note and not everything is cynical. But a lot of people don't want that, and I can understand that too since Helluva started off that way, having the series change it's tone might be off-putting for people who prefered the first tone.

And while I know not all haters/critics think this, but a lot of heat that I have seen Vivizepop getting reminds me when I was active in the Steven Universe fanbase and people called that the worst cartoon of all time and accused Rebecca Sugar of being the most problematic evil artist that there is. Now that seems to be switched because all the hate and anti-su videos have declined and people started watching the actual series itself, and find out ''wait, this isn't so bad'

and now the series got more fans from people who have been avoiding it, because of the hate it got. I think something like that, is going to happen to Helluva and Hazbin in the future too. When hate becomes popular you have people who join that. (fun fact both vivzie and Sugar, got hate for writing choices that were made by men in certain episodes, same-said men don't get the critism despite being in the credits!)

Can't help but see a constant trend of queer stories, (Steven Universe, Boyfriends, Hazbin) getting over-the-top hate, like Sarah Z's video, queer content and creators tend to be pulled into impossible high standards, where straight/cis/male creators don't. I mean there is creators like Thomas Astruc, a bad writer and an openly bigoted -way more problematic, 50-year old man, who has his critics, but it's not like people are talking shit about him on every Miraculous Ladybug post or video, yet if a big account on twitter, post something about Hazbin, you always find a comment saying vivzie sucks, can't help but notice that.

and like you said, if the series isn't picking your interest , maybe then just drop it and focus on something you like instead! but consider Sonic fans who hate the idw comic books talk about it ever single day (and funny thing is, sonic idw-critics will write fanfictions to claim and show they are better then those writers, as anti hazbin hotel artist will drew redesings to ''fix' the characters) because these critics get attention from their malice, and not from their regular work, because they might know their own original work can't stand on it's own without putting someone else down, that in itself just makes me think they don't have faith in their own art.

Is using AI allowed?

No! It has been proven that using AI is stealing from original creators' works. To me (and lots of other people) this is unethical. If I find out something is made with AI, it will be removed from the AO3 collection and the account will be blocked by this account.

I'm aware I can't do much to prevent people from using it anyway. I will try my absolute best to prevent it from happening. All I can do now is give you a tip I've seen going around: posting your works for registered users seems to protect against AI programs from finding it.

Which brings us to the next question

Can I post works on AO3 for registered users only?

Yes you can. Especially with AI going around so much, it is completely understandable that you want to keep it away from people without accounts. I myself also only post for registered users. There's no rule against it. Same with the comments, you can choose whatever option you want

Do I have to post on AO3?

No, you can post wherever you want. However, there is only an account for this event here on Tumblr and a collection on AO3. Posts on Twitter, Instagram or other places won't be shared by me.

But this is for everyone, so you can still create for it! You don't even need to tag me for it.

Will you reblog my work?

This is my first time hosting an event so I don't know what to expect. I want to reblog everything I find! I'll keep an eye on the Buddie Week 2024 tag and my mentions and will do my best to reblog everything.

With AO3 I want to share links on this blog too, but I don't know if everyone feels comfortable with that, so I don't know yet. I don't want to make anyone uncomfortable or feel exposed to an audience they don't want.

Don't worry you're not the only one who thinks like that. I had the same thoughts. Multiple people just go "I THINK i saw them" and then there's no proof no confirmation and no finality in their words that they actually saw them. Everyone's going "I think, it could be them, maybe" and it's just not making me believe anything at all. As you said they could be together, they could be not and I'll believe it when i find something solid and trustworthy.

It's not me coming up with excuses it's just that i don't like believing anything until i see solid proof is all. I have always lived like that on stan twitter and I'll continue to do so.

Another thing is i for sure think that if they're in the US they're very much there for their work. They can't be in there for so long just to film something because even during AYS they stayed for like 2 days at places in all countries. Japan being 3 days or some. Heard jk's photoshoot rumours, the tour, jm's song rumours etc etc. so it's all in just work and if they take some time out of that to relax then good for them.

You know I think it’s somewhat of a personality thing on whether or not someone finds this kind of thing fun. For me? No. If I convinced myself that Jikook were really working on a unit project and it turned out to be false I would genuinely be a bit disappointed so I’d rather not get my hopes up without solid proof. Also if I wanted to enjoy thinking about fictional scenarios I would just go and read fic lol, not… whatever this is. Some people might be totally fine and enjoy the ride regardless of the outcome and that’s totally cool and I 100% respect that… it’s just some of the “shaming” of people who are being skeptical of the sightings is a bit? 😭

I’m not trying to be a fun killer here, I just don’t understand why I should be trying to gaslight myself simply because I want it to be true. That’s literally what we drag tkkrs for. It also just seems kind of unnecessarily messy to me, but idk. Not talking about people who are just having fun speculating. I just find it weird so many people are adamant about passing it as fact, treating these sightings dead seriously, and then getting annoyed at people who don’t go immediately along with it. From a personal standpoint I also just can’t figure out what exactly is fun about being misled and spreading misinfo lol, actually it’s starting to become straight up irritating to me. I think that’s because I would really lose it to get more jkk content, so getting my hopes up and then dashed is not exactly fun.

Also kind of (just a little) annoying how some people are pretending that the sources of these sightings are irrelevant. Yeah, it kind of does matter where the rumor is coming from when you consider the validity of the claim and not a single one of these sources has been trustworthy. Also the two public accounts are both really sketchy (one of them already had a certain reputation IYKYK). Also one of the “four” sightings was literally a random screenshot with no source? 😭 And now they’re apparently in Switzerland based on a random Weibo post that has since been deleted (ironically I almost find this one the most believable lmao). That's not even getting into how some of them just sound kind of suspect (like you said the way that they're "not sure" is sort of odd). This is also very much not the same situation as CT either where we had photo/vid evidence of them being together early on and I think confirmation that JM was heading to NYC. Plus the accounts who spotted them were a lot more trustworthy. Also real quick, saying that you can’t 100% believe random people on the internet based on their word alone with zero actual evidence is not endorsing leaking pictures lol? 😭

Anyways yeah I agree I honestly thought they were probably working on solo stuff just based on their workaholic personalities, how eager they both were to jump back into it, and the JK tour rumors especially. He would need to start recording/sourcing music pretty quickly for JJK2. I could see them hanging out inbetween whatever work they were doing, or even filming something for AYS between solo work which is what they did in the past. But they’ve been gone such a long time now that I really have no clue? Maybe they’re just taking a for-fun trip like RM, maybe they’re recording something together, maybe it’s fashion or music work, who knows. I’m not 100% that I think they’re together rn but that’s me being a pessimist and keeping my expectations low. It’s entirely possible (maybe even the most likely scenario) and I would have a lot to say about it if so. I guess we’ll just have to keep waiting 😭 This has been an interesting saga for sure. I just hope they're having fun and enjoying their time whatever they're doing. Also again nothing against people having fun speculating or anything.

it confuses the hell out of me how Tumblr out of all places harbors most negativity toward BMF. situation it's much better now though, but the early period and before the show aired was nothing but spite an vitriol filling the tags. on the bright side, pretty much every other platform is head over heels for BMF, especially Reddit. they're usually critical af but BMF seems to be universally praised. anyways, I'm beyond excited for the remaining eps, and here's hoping for a strong finale so this show becomes one of the often recommended ones 🙏

On BMF getting more negativity on Tumblr than other places:

I thiiiiink it's because Tumblr has an especially high North American/European user base, and that's where the majority of the Krist hate seems to come from. What people still point to (the IG story, the rape filter joke, the "I don't want to watch Singto specifically kiss other men because this is fanservice on a variety TV show that people are going to quote out of context as me saying I don't like watching men kiss" thing) are either debunked or happened years ago, but when interfans arrived in droves in 2020, they kicked up old news like it was brand new and passed around hearsay like it was fact.

I mean, even I've learned new things since I made my post and thread about Krist back in September. For one, GMM didn't arrange his press conference in 2020 to address the issues. Krist did. Even though he'd already apologized multiple times over the years for things he never repeated, he still wanted to take accountability because of the amount of attention interfans were bringing to it. Part of that press conference was Krist even saying he'd never make excuses for what he's done and that he'll apologize as long as he's asked to.

The first(?) apology Krist made for the IG story was long, long ago, one I can't even find a translation for, that's how long ago it was. But Krist's long-time fans said that someone did translate it, but their English wasn't strong, so interfans picked apart their translation as if Krist's apology was lacking. (It's like how some interfans criticized Win in Between Us for being forceful because the subtitles originally said "kiss me" when what he actually said in Thai was "can I kiss you?" Interfans who don't speak Thai just make assumptions based on translations sometimes and it's part of my villain origin story.) Again, I don't have the apology to hand, but apparently one part of it was Krist saying something like, "I responded without thinking of how it would look. As a Y actor, I don't have those kinds of bigoted thoughts. This is my home, and I'm very proud of and supportive of the community that's raised me and cared for me," and the fan translation apparently paraphrased all of that into something like, "As a BL actor, of course I'm not homophobic." So like. Even when he's apologized, interfans have historically found a way to throw rocks at him anyway, so it gets exhausting to see people casually calling him homophobic because Melanie in Minnesota saw a screenshot of an IG story on Twitter and then made a list of six problematic BL actors you should definitely avoid because they skin babies and punt puppies into volcanoes.

On BMF being great:

I'm so proud of Krist and Gawin for the work they've done up until now. It's wild to think about the amount of information they had to keep in mind as they were filming. Because, like, series already film out of order, but they also had to keep in mind different timelines of the same characters out of order. The fact that you can see not only Kawi's growth but everyone else's as well so fluidly and consistently over the episodes so far says a great deal about the quality of the production, I think. The directing, the writing, the acting. All of it is really, truly phenomenal.

I'm just tired of seeing him get so much hate for years on end when he's such a loving and giving person who's been a vocal queer ally since SOTUS. Not just during Pride, either. He really has been deeply misconstrued by interfans at large, and I just hope the people who've made up their minds about hating him (and the ones who've made their hate so public they're too stubborn to admit they misread him) will just learn to ignore him and stop tormenting him. honest opinion? if we're strictly talking the definition, it's fine. it can even be a kind of fun thought experiment. but it's just that, a thought experiment. in no way do i think it is the best way to analyze media lmao, especially one piece.

ive found twitter to be extremely annoying about power scaling, with the constant 'x is stronger than y' and complaining that 'x got nerfed' or 'y is a fraud'. and just. aren't you miserable constantly thinking like that lmao? for me personally, one piece has never been about the fighting, it's always been about the emotion behind them, which is something these uh. fans. never seem to consider. i'm so tired of seeing these discussions over and over again because i really think they're kind of pointless.

strength is not all one piece characters' goals and to rank everyone based on this alone without any other influence is frankly stupid. not every thing in one piece is a competition about who is stronger than who. i get that it's a battle shounen, but i think it really does the series a disservice to reduce it to that. there's a lot more to it than just the fights, i honestly think the overall plot and themes as well as the relationships that the characters form take a lot more precedence over the fighting. ignoring all of that in favor of making constant rankings of who would theoretically beat who is quite frankly stupid. i think generally these are just used to push whoever is the original poster's favorite as the strongest no matter what, and they usually fail to mention that often times there are other factors at play during the fights. the context is always important, as they're not all strict one v. ones, and environment and emotion carry weight in a fight that these posters usually don't account for.

if this is in reference to [spoilers for chapter 1118/1119] bonney's joy girl form, i'll just come out and say that i absolutely love it. i think it not only is completely within her skill set, but it also makes total narrative sense as well. regardless of that, i think ultimately, sticking to your themes and making sure you are hitting proper emotional and narrative beats is more important than just the fighting. while you can't just completely break a character's established move set to serve whatever purpose you need from them at the time, i'm personally of the opinion that it's alright to stretch it to a small degree every now and then when you really need or would like something done.

i'm kind of talking in broad strokes here, this got much longer than i wanted it to and i don't want to make it drag on too much, so i'll just end by weighing in on the age old question of who's stronger, zoro or sanji. i think it's very simple in that really it does not matter. it does not matter and it will continue to not matter unless the death pact needs to be fulfilled, even then i doubt a simple one v. one will be the solution, but i digress

A: As a team we are very aware of the potential issue, but we've discussed behind the scenes different methods to combat and/or discourage hoarding. While we know it may seem unconventional from the outside looking in, we're willing to try something a little different, and if it proves to be too large an issue to feasibly manage, we do have the process of switching to per-muse activity planned out. Overall, we want to encourage a more laid back approach to activity because, as adults, life can sometimes be demanding and we don't want someone's packed schedule to prevent them from participating.

Q: would you consider moving from tellonym to neospring or something? i dont want the tellonym app on my phone and i dont have a computer, its a little inaccessible for me to try and find out what’s already been answered

A: All of our answers will be screencapped and posted on social media, but we will do some investigating and see about moving the Q&A period to Neospring or another website for accessibility purposes.

One of my favorite characters is Izuku Midoriya from My Hero Academia, and if I saw that a RP Group banned him from being apped for 'lore reasons', I'd find it pretty strange, too. Nevertheless, Weiss' exclusion from the roster of available characters is something that's integral to the story and at this point cannot be removed so easily, and the same story beats simply wouldn't hit if we used a character that's not connected to anyone or anything.
