#alrighty welcome back to the tags where i attempt to provide context #this is just a random thought I had while rolling silverware at work the other day #I didn’t want to be there #and now I don’t have to be there anymore #because my boss is a stubborn idiot who didn’t send his sick employee home or make him at least wear a mask and that employee tested #positive for covid the next day but the boss didn’t tell us so I didn’t bring a mask into work and no one was supposed to wear a mask #and because my boss was unvaccinated he and his wife are now sick with covid and now i’ve been exposed twice #and i’m vaccinated so ig it’s fine but i move into campus on two weeks and I gotta get tested before i can move into my dorm #So i just went ahead and stopped working a week ahead of time #assuming the restaurant will open back up. And some of the other waiters and waitresses need that income for rent or to pay for school #supplies for their kids.
