"It hurts," you say into your phone.

"I know it does, honey. I'm sorry. I'm sure a heating pad and some medicine can help with your cramps," Spencer responds sympathetically, recalling all of the period remedies he had learned.

"I took some Midol about an hour ago and I have the heating pad on right now. It's not helping much."

"Hmm..." Spencer pauses for a moment. "I've read that light exercise and hot tea or water can help. Are you feeling well enough to talk to the kitchen and make some tea? I think there's still some of the chamomile and honey tea I bought you in the pantry, and the walking might help."

"I should be alright. Will you stay on the phone with me?" you plead.

"Of course I will. Luckily, I'm in my hotel room for the night, so I have as much time as you need."

"Thank you, Spence."

"You're welcome, love."

You hobble to your kitchen, phone in hand, and start to make yourself a cup of chamomile tea.

The few minutes it took for the kettle to boil felt excruciatingly long, but having Spencer on the phone to distract you helped.

"I was reading an article about Spanish idioms, and I saw one I thought you would like," Spencer prompts.

"Yeah? What's that?" You say, leaning against your kitchen counter.

"Well, it literally means 'Thinking about the immortality of the crab,' but it's a way to say that instead of just sitting idly, you were engaged in active thought or daydreaming. Kind of like saying you're just letting your mind wander," Spencer says, his voice growing more excited as he elaborates.

"I think about the immortality of the crab a lot, then," You joke.

"I know. That's why I thought you would like it."

You scoff and bring your now finished cup of tea back into your bedroom, where you had been hibernating amidst every fuzzy blanket you could find.

You pull the heating pad back over your lap and get as cozy as you can with your hellish cramps. As nice as your bedspread may be, however, you know that you would be a lot more comfortable with Spencer cuddled up next to you.

"When are you gonna be back home, Spencer?" You ask.

"Well, we haven't gotten very many good leads, so we're a little stuck right now. It might be a few more days. I'm sorry, honey," He responds apologetically.

"Oh... That's okay. I get it."

You did get it. It wasn't uncommon for Spencer to be gone for days, sometimes a few weeks at a time. But the searing pain and high estrogen levels just made you want him near you even more.

"I'm sorry. You know I would so much rather be taking care of you right now," Spencer follows.

"Ain't no rest for the wicked."

"Exactly." Spencer pauses for a moment, lets out a sigh, and shuffles around in his room. "You should get some rest. You may feel better tomorrow as your hormones decrease."

You hang up the phone and sigh dramatically. It was only Friday night, and without work to prepare for or Spencer to spend time with, you were forced to entertain yourself for the weekend.

You start by putting on an older show to rewatch, but don't make it through much before you fall into an uncomfortable sleep.

You wake up the next morning to your phone ringing. Rubbing your dry eyes, you pick up your phone and see Spencer's contact flash across your screen. You pick up, clearing your throat before you speak.

"Morning, love."

"It's eleven AM, darling. But good morning to you, too," Spencer responds. In the background of the call, you hear what sounds like a turn signal.

"Whatever. Where are you?"

"I'm in the car," He says uninformatively.

"Okay, then where are you heading?"

"To my destination."

What a turd. You groan in exasperation.

"If it makes you feel better, I have something for you,' Spencer tells you.

"Like what?"

"It should be arriving just about now, actually."

"What do you mean?" You question.

Before you could ask him anything else, you hear a knock at your door.

"Hang on, Spence. Someone's at the door," You say, placing your eye to the peephole.

To your great surprise, you see a tiny image of Spencer smiling outside your door with his phone up to his ear. You fling the door open and affirm that he is, in fact, at your door.

"Spencer!" You exclaim. He greets you as he throws his arms around you, lightly squishing you against his chest.

"I thought you weren't gonna be home for a few more days. What changed?" You ask, pulling away from his embrace to look up into his sweet brown eyes.

"The unsub basically turned himself in, so we all got to go home early. I would have came here earlier, but I had to make a stop," He says, gesturing to his right hand.

You look down to see a shopping bag. He smiles and walks into your living room, urging you to follow.

He slowly unpacks the bag, announcing every item as it appears.

"An array of candy -- fruit flavored as well as chocolate --, electrolyte drinks to keep you hydrated, a new bottle of Midol to help with the pain, and..." Out of a separate bag you hadn't noticed before, he pulls out a bouquet of fresh flowers. "Flowers because I thought you would like them."

He hands you the flowers and you smile up at him before enclosing him in another hug.

"Thank you, Spencer. You're so sweet."

"I'm just trying to make you feel better," He says, placing a kiss on your forehead.

"You're doing great."

He smiles into your hair before pulling away.

"What do you want to do? We can watch movies in bed, I can draw you a bath, we can go for a walk..." He trails off, looking to your for an answer.

"Let's go watch movies. We can find that new one we wanted to watch."

aaron made it his mission to keep their weekend free. he wasn’t gonna let anything get in the way of his date with you. he even went as far as putting his cellphones on do not disturb. it’s something he hasn’t done since haley gave birth to jack.

you were also really excited. you’d went shopping for a new dress and maybe even spoiled yourself with a matching pair of shoes.

ever since aaron asked you out he’d been extra touchy. he’d make up some excuse to have you close or to simply hold your hand. you both agreed not to be too close when jacks around. you wanted the first date to go well before telling jack anything.

your date was tomorrow night. currently you’re on the phone with spencer. he’s been going on and on about a new docu-series he’s been watching. he gives his theories on who he thought the unsub was.

you simply laugh. he rarely watched tv. when he did it was some show or movie about a killer or serial killers he didn’t know anything about. he liked to see if he can guess who the killer is before they revealed it.

it’s why you never watched any documentaries with him. he’d always ruin it for you.

“why do you watch the show if you already know who the killer is with the little information you have. i bet it didn’t even take you fifteen minutes.”

you’ve never smiled so big. you kissed him passionately. aaron was much taller than you are. he had to lean down just to kiss you. you stood on the tip of your toes and run your hands through his hair.

aaron groans in your mouth. when you finally pull apart you look him dead in the eyes. “i love you too, aar. more than you know.”

aaron smiles. “i should get back to work. ill see you tonight, okay?”

when jack gets home you make sure he gets his homework out. you hand him his sandwich and a little bag of chips.

“do you want apple juice or fruit punch?”

jack thinks before pointing to the fruit punch. “good choice!” you smile. you pour him a small cup before ruffling his head.

you sit beside him with your own sandwich. jack looks at his math homework with a frown. you look down. you grab the paper and hum.

it was an easy math question for you. but for an eight year old it’s a little bit difficult. you talk him through the problem. when he got the answer you smiled.

“see! you’re a genius.”

jack continues to finish his homework. once he was done with his sandwich you put both of your plates in the sink. you wash the dishes. once finished you hear your phone ring. frowning when you see your mom calling.

you haven’t heard from her in a while. the last conversation you had with your mom didn’t end well. she had yelled at you when you told her you’re moving to virginia. she didn’t understand why you wouldn’t move back home. when you explained that you wanted to be closer to spencer she simply asked why. she yelled and said that he’s not your family.

that angered you. you told her that spencer was the only person that was there for you when you decided to take your art seriously.

you ended the call when she called your art a ‘silly little hobby that wasn’t good enough to be displayed for the world to see.’

that hurt you more than anything she’s ever said to you. your father tried to apologize on her behalf. he was a bit more level headed and forgiving than your mother. he still thought you needed to go to college. gain some degree and have a decent career. but he still allowed you to enjoy this journey you’re on.

you declined the call.

“im finished with my homework, yn. may i go play in the yard?”

You hated getting up this early but it was the only way you could get yourself and her ready on time “Hey, baby girl its time to wake up” you said softly to your 4 year old “Five more minutes mommy” she said rolling over, you giggled softly “No honey you cant be late again”. Once she woke up and you got her dressed it was time to get yourself ready “Ok can you be a big girl and eat your oatmeal while mommy gets ready?” You asked her pinching her cheeks “yes and i wont even make a mess” she said smiling “alright I’ll be right back” you said leaving her to watch The Smurfs. "We're here angel!" Doma said as they stopped in front of a small store. It was a little store. Y/n looked inside to see onsies, plushies, sippy cups, anything a little would need. Doma picked her up and twirled her around and headed inside leaving Akaza to trail behind them.

"Hello! Welcome to the little boutique is there anyway I can help you today?" The worker greeted. She was rather short with long brown hair and beautiful green eyes.

"Y/n just got classified as a little and we aren't for sure what to get for her" Akaza replied and handed her the identification card. She pulled out a pair of large round glasses from her pocket and read the card.

"It seems like her regression will primarily been in baby and young toddler years. So I'd recommend getting her a couple bottles and a sippy cup, pacifiers, and a crib with adjustable bars AND don't forget about the toys of course" she smiled and looked at Akaza and then at you.

"Bye! I hope to see you guys again soon" She said as the twin carried all the items out of the shop. When they were out of the store Nakime teleported them back to the fortress.

Daki and Gyuataro looked at all the things they bought that was taller than akaza and Doma put together.

"I guess good littles get spoiled don't they" Daki laughed and started tickling you.

"HAHAHA AUNTY STOP" Y/n laughed.

"Awwwww you called me aunty! You're the cutest little to ever exist" Daki put her sash around her and made her fly in the air. Doma was cheering it on while Akaza felt like he was gonna pass out.

"Me and Kokushibo have finished the nursery" Nakime announced.

"I wanna see aunty!"

"Then let's go"

"PUT HER DOWN FIRST"

"WOAHHH I WUV IT" Y/n started running around the room and looking at things. It was HUGE! Everything she could have possibly dreamed of.

All the excitement of the day must have tired her out becasue Y/n yawned and rubbed her eyes sleepily.

"Looks like it's nap time for you. Can I help you get changed sweetie?" Daki asked. She nodded to tired to say anything. Daki looks through your wardrobe of outfits and sees a cute white onsie with pink sleeves with cute pink designs on it. She takes it off the hanger and then gets a pink paci out of a pacifier box. She figured you might need a diaper so she grabbed one of those too. 

"Alright cutie let's get you changed!"

Daki helped you get your clothes off and slipped the diaper underneath you making sure to tape it tight but not too tight of course. She guided each one of your arms and legs into the correct holes and buttoned it up.

"Say ahhhhh" Daki cooed as she held out your paci.

You opened your mouth and she put the pink paci in your mouth watching as it bobbed in and out of your mouth.  Daki tucked you into your crib and put the gates up.

"Goodnight cutie" Daki whispered as she shut the lights and closed the door .

"How was she sis?" Gyutaro asked.

"She was good! Poor baby was too small to even get her pajamas on by herself" Daki replied to her brother.

"Aren't you the cutest little thing!" Doma cooed at you as you were sleeping in your crib cuddling with your stuffed bunny he got for you earlier.

He carefully picked you up from your crib causing you to stir a bit but he shushed and bounced you to calm you down.

"Shhhh you're okay"

Doma snuck you out of the infinity fortress and went to his temple where his followers were quick to greet him.

"Lord Doma who is that girl?" A male follower asked.

"This is my little friend Y/n! All of you better treat her nicely or else" Doma replies with a threatening smile. His followers shivered and quickly nodded. Doma sat on his throne with you on his lap sleeping peacefully. Doma can't remember the last time he felt emotion but when he looked.at you he felt his heart rate increase and warm by how precious you were.

"I'll always keep you safe little one" Doma whispered and held you closer.

"DOMA!!!"

Doma heard Akazas yell before he kicked down the door waking you up in the process.

"Akaza you woke up the little one! That can't go unpunished can it" Doma smiled but Akaza could tell he was mad. He placed you on his throne before he charged at Akaza attacking him. Doma was slicing him with his fans while Akaza kicked his jaw off.

Y/n was crying not wanting her friends to fight. The two were so focused on beating the others ass they didn't notice her running out of the room. She made her way out of the temple and ran into the forest.

Kokushibo appeared and slammed their heads in causing each of their skulls to Crack.

"Where's is Y/n" Kokushibo asked ready to kick the shit out of the two again.

"Shes right th-" Doma pointed but stopped when he realized you weren't there anymore.

Kokushibo grabbed him by the throat and slammed him into a wall breaking it.

"You idiot! Muzans child could be anywhere by now and it's entirely your fault"

Akaza stepped in.

"Kokushibo I'm sure I can find her leave it to me"

He nodded and threw Doma across the room.

By now you made it to a small town where you could smell delicious udon. You followed the smell until you were infront of a delicious udon restaurant.

"UMAI"

'dat noodle must me nummy!' Y/n thought and waddled her way into the restaurant. Looking around she saw a man with orange and red hair eating what looked to be his third bowl of udon. Before he could shove more noodles in his mouth he saw you staring up at him in fascination.

Rengoku has only met one little before and their little age was 8. But he figured your little age was really young based on your onsie and paci.

He got up from the table and walked over to you crouching down to your level so you'd feel more comfortable.

"Are you lost little one? Where's your caregiver?" Rengoku asked worryingly. Y/n started to cry, scared she'll never see her caregiver or her aunts and uncles again. This moment made Rengoku so happy he was a classified Caregiver.

"There's no need to cry little one! I'm sure your caregiver is looking for you right now! Let's see if we can find them" Rengoku held out his hand for you to take. You were a little hesitant but he understood it must be hard for you to trust a stranger so he was patient. Eventually you smiled through your paci and grabbed his hand.

Rengoku asked nearly everyone in the town but nobody knew who you were or who your caregiver could possibly be. By this time you could hardly keep your eyes open. You held your arms out to Rengoku wanting him to carry you. He happily obliged and held your form in his arms.

"I'll take you to a friend that can look after you until we find your caregiver"

You nodded and drifted off to sleep

LONG ASS DIARY ENTRY LEVEL RANT ABT MY DAY INCOMING!!!! literally dont worry abt reading it i just NEED to get this down on paper/text cuz i am exhausted as FUCK okay. Alright. Nobody is allowed to bitch at me for it this time okay ive bitched at myself enough today!!!

Anyway so basically it started with me missing out vital information that i was working with someone i never met today, who was busy helping out other departments bc she doesnt actually do housekeeping primarily but i was so busy sobbing about my coworkers cat who i NEVER even met yesterday that i didnt. Catch this when it was mentioned to me gahdh.

So im panicking bringing all 3 carts up to the 5th floor, I start a room that was previously requested to be done early as she had a pedicure appt at 11:30, i wasnt supposed to be the one doing it but i was olone and freaking out so i was like fuck its gotta be me. I start it and maybe 20 minutes in somebody Politely comes up to me and asks if i knew where the other cleaning supplies were, and instead of putting 2 and 2 together (person in uniform ive never met on my floor + asking abt cleaning supplies = The Person That Is Fucking Helping Me Today) my big brain decides to VENT like "honestly idek whats going on, somebody was supposed tk be helping me but i guess they never even showed up 😠" and she just looks at me like "😐 thats me. I was here at 8am, I just had some kinda important things i needed to help out with." So. Cue me doing the classic 😳 face and start spewing apologies, admitting I was literally SUCH a MASSIVE fucking dick for no fucking reason + huge idiot for not figuring that out, she's immediately very forgiving and mentions that she did a 15 hour shift yesterday cuz SHES A FUCKINGE PARAMEDIC‼️‼️‼️

So yEAH im never ever ever ever ever gonna live that one down. Anyways once im done annoying her with more apologies and i finish my room, i start on the rooms im assigned that are closest cuz it just makes sense right? Wrong cuz now ive pissed off a resident cuz he hasnt done his dishes yet and was expecting me later on today, so he lectures me about messing up his routine which is fair, but then he goes on abt how i need to figure my shit out meanwhile the only reason this is happening is because MY routine was messed up. But explaining that to a 90yr old is literally pointless so i take the L. Then the OG room i did's resident calls me over and complains that i didnt do anything, meanwhile i sanitized + dusted + vacuumed + mopped every square inch but i didnt see the clean linens she HID IN THE FUCKING CLOSET so i had to go back and make her bed before her appointment, then finish the second guys room, then try to start on another ladies room who politely came by to ask me to do hers next, and so on and so on and so on and so forth.

BUSY BUSY BUSY FUCKINGE DAY then the paramedic girl asks me for help on a room that smells particularly bad, but then she gets called to cover for someone else- i already feel terrible so im like no problem, ill finish your room dont worry about it (thinking she would come back- she didnt)

So all in all i did 8 rooms, re-did 2, then got abandoned and i had to stay an hour after my shift was supposed to end to throw the dirty mops and rags in the wash/take out the garbage and i STILL didnt get tk the 1st floor bathrooms. Rip but my boss never called me back when i tried to ask him abt it so ill just do it thursday lawl.

Then i come home and spend 2 hours helping sweep up turf dirt in the rain so swag. Anyways diary entry over thanxxxx bye

The sun was beating down on New Sieg, and Teuta Bridges was in between a rock and a hard place. Or, more accurately, between Mozu and a very stubborn man in shorts and a floral-print shirt, looking as if he had just finished his side gig of being an on-screen dying extra of a Jaws movie. Clearly, someone bought the wrong plane tickets. 

“Like I said!” The man yelled, instead of ‘saying’, “I don’t know where Kingfisher Park is! All I’m asking is for some help!”

“You have a considerable volume for what you think constitutes asking. And as we’ve told you, we’re in a hurry. I’ve shown you directions and typed in the search on your phone’s map, so all you need to do is follow it.” Mozu then paused thoughtfully. “Unless you’re incapable?”

The glare of the sun further emphasized the sheen of sweat on the man’s face, and his expression looked like he was a raging bull about to charge. Teuta didn’t need to guess that Mozu was his giant, waving, red flag. Except he probably didn’t notice that the flag he was waving was red, and that his opponent was more bull than man. 

“Mozu!” She tugged on his arm, “I’m a little thirsty. Can we get a drink on the way to Joneses'?” She tried to become the pure, ultimate embodiment of charm and endearing, words Mozu once used when discussing the history of cat domestication and its impact on nomadic lifestyle. She couldn’t catch a rat if she tried—but she had green eyes, and Luka always told her they were pretty. That had to count, right?

“Sure, in a moment.” Mozu turned his attention back to the man.

Pretty like weed and just as easy to ignore, I guess.

Unexpectedly, he slipped his hand in hers, and his tone took on a finality that she had only heard when telling off Crow and Shu on wasting takeout food. A smile sneaked its way onto her face. Go get ‘im, Mozu!

“We’ve done all we can to help. If you really insist on having us guide you, you can follow us to our destination and we’ll stop by the police department. One of the officers can assist.”

“Ha! Forget it. You New Sieg folk are all the same. I’ll find my way to the police department myself, and when I do, I’ll complain about how unfriendly this place is to tourists.” He sneered condescendingly, and leaned to look Mozu in the eyes with a stare she didn’t appreciate. “Give me a name to pin this down to.”

“Crow Miller,” said Mozu with no hesitation.

Teuta wanted to laugh so hard she thought she was going to throw up. 

“Weak-ass name for a weak-ass guy. Figures. You’ll see what’s coming to you soon!”

Oh my GOD—

“Okay,” Mozu said easily as the man sauntered off, and if she could, she would make ice cubes with his breezy tone for a hot summer day. Or, right now. They were out of the house by 1 P.M., and it was 1:45 P.M.! And here they were still, ice cream-less. Mozu gave her hand a squeeze and turned her way. His voice gentled, taking a far more ‘considerable volume for what constitutes asking’. “Are you alright? I’m sorry we got stuck here for so long.”

“It’s fine, it was funny to watch. I was just hoping he wouldn’t punch you.”

“Punch me?” 

“Yeah. When you asked him if he couldn’t even follow directions, I was sure he was gonna start swinging.” She flashed him a toothy grin. “Don’t worry though! Shu started giving me tips on self defense. I know what to do if he tries something!” For good measure, she even made a show of some moves with her fists.

“What did he teach you?”

“Go for the eyes, then balls.”

“So why the fist?”

“Uh… finisher move, I guess?”

“But it’s self defense. Isn’t that what you said?”

“It’s just for bonus points. Like that game Crow always plays!”

“I see,” he nodded solemnly, and she wasn’t sure what he did see. But damn if that didn’t make him all the more lovable to her! “So that’s how he took it. I was just asking if he couldn’t follow directions because I get lost sometimes too. The lines on the map and colors make it hard to see if I’m cycling the right way.”

“Makes sense,” Teuta hummed, leading the way to Trader Joneses’. I hope there’s still some left. “But with the way you say it, Mozu, an innocent question sounds like a comeback. It’s kinda funny.”

He frowned slightly, deep in thought. “...I see.”

“By the way,” Limbo mumbled through a mouthful of ham sandwich, “Don’t think it needs to be said since you guys probably know better, but be careful going out. There’s been this ongoing schtick where some guys ask for directions and then mug you at the spot.” After swallowing, he said: “Not that this would affect Crow in any way. For people with jobs, it’s important.”

“Hey! I do have a job! Anima, tell ‘em!”

Schedule: Clear, rang Anima’s voice throughout the house, with much more clarity Crow probably wanted. Teuta couldn’t stifle a snort. 

Ignoring Crow, Helvetica chimed in: “I’ll be fine, but Mozu, didn’t you say you had overtime recently? Will you be alright?” Her arm shot up in the air quicker than her mouth had words to formulate for it. “It’s cool! I’ll be around.” Honestly, it was pretty hard getting alone time with Mozu recently. They could have a bite before going home and catch up, and the timing was opportune…! Well, not for the ones that got mugged, that is. Her condolences, and all that, but she wanted to talk to her boyfriend!

“Honestly, if one of you gets mugged, you’d deserve it.” Shu said after beating Crow in a game, patting his back with a there there. “You all live with criminals and you don’t know how to tell if something’s up? Embarrassing.” 

“I think we actually had someone pull that over us while we were on our way to get ice cream. Right, Mozu?”

“Mm, yeah.” Mozu took a pair of tongs and served the finished spaghetti into a large bowl. “He threatened to complain about us to the police if we didn’t comply.”

“What?!” The ever-easily-shocked-despite-being-legally-dead Crow turned from the TV with his eyes wide like saucers. “Isn’t that like, bad? Did anything else happen?”

“No. And it wasn’t a threat to us anyways. We used your name, Crow.” Mozu laid down the plates in one stack and put down forks on the counter. “Come eat, everyone. Before it gets cold.”

“Why’d you use my name, out of all things? This should go into the Respect Jar!” “Mozu never insulted you though, dude.” Shu slithered into a chair, and Teuta still cringed at his posture to this day. He’d be a great Hunchback of Notre Dame if they ever needed someone who was tall. “And ‘sides, what’s it called. The bad boy effect, or whatever? Having a record might get you a girlfriend.”

Helvetica sat at the opposite end of the counter, elegantly twisting his spaghetti onto his plate. “Not that it matters. He’d have to get out of the house for anyone to know he has a criminal record.”

“Rather than Crow, you shoulda seen Mozu talking! He pretty much dunked the guy like a biscuit.” Yeah, so what if she was bragging! Her boyfriend was as cool as a cucumber, and everyone deserved to know.

“Tsk tsk tsk, Mozu. I thought you were the civilized one. I’m the one supposed to be dunking people with words.” Despite finishing his sandwich, Limbo shamelessly found himself around the big plate of spaghetti. I guess it’s for his growth? But he’s twenty seven…

“...It was nothing. Just a misunderstanding.” Mozu nudged a plate of spaghetti her way, voice quieter than before. “Eat up.”

“This biodegradable straw is too effective,” Mozu frowned, looking at his now disintegrating straw that he used only seconds ago. “I don’t see the point.”

“Want me to get the ones they use for coffee? Those ones are plastic, but they’re a bit smaller.”

“It’s fine.” With a stare that could passably be called judgemental, he looked at the plate of cake in front of her. Two plates of cake, in fact. “Are you sure you’ll be able to finish that?”

“It’s fine, it’s fine! I was hungry.” She spooned a luxurious and sweet-salty bite of caramel cake into her mouth. “Plus, they’re two different flavors. They taste different, so if I ever get sick, I just need to switch plates.”

Even though Mozu did work overtime, he was sometimes too taxed to do anything but rest at home after work. Today happened to be a lucky day, and so Teuta proposed a bite at Harry and Keith’s for a recharge. Mozu for his energy, and her for her Mozu-battery. No matter how many cakes it would take, she would order as much cake as she needed to extend the date as long as she could. Her stomach would just have to suck it up.

Although silences with Mozu were often the comforting kind, Teuta felt like something was amiss. After swallowing another hearty spoonful of now cookies-and-cream cake, she spoke: “Mozu, do you have something on your mind?”

“Yeah, but I don’t know how to say it,” he said, and let out a rare, small sigh. “Teuta, do you ever feel like I’m putting you in danger?”

She bit back a No, never, from barely rolling off her tongue. Mozu looks… “Not at all. It’s the opposite. You’re the one that’s helped me out of danger so many times, Mozu.”

They would occasionally meet up with Ivy now and then and catch up—as friends, but also as adults. She’d been around the Fixers (and was one of them, now) for some time, and although she never got direct contact with anything close to a dead body, there were still memories of past events that crept up in nightmares when sleep was elusive. How worse would it have been for a teenager?

“I know I’m different from other people, but I’ve never considered that a bad thing. I don’t dislike who I am, and I’ve never done or said anything I didn’t want to. I think that’s important. But I realized that it could be dangerous for you if I continue doing things the way I’m used to.” As if he’d tasted something bitter, his expression tightened slightly. “Just like with that guy that tried to mug us, and… Troy. What if I say the wrong thing unintentionally and put you in harms’ way?”

“Mozu, you’re smart.” She didn’t even need to think before saying that. “You know when we’re in a dangerous situation and when we’re not. I trust you.” Pausing, she put her hands on her hips as a triumphant show of don’t worry! “And if I think otherwise, I’ll let you know—two heads are better than one, after all!” 

“Still, if I had been more careful with my words…”

Teuta clanged her dessert spoon on her plate, bringing his attention directly to her. “Savoir faire. Do you know what it means?”

“No.”

“It means, uhh…” She scrambled for her phone in her bag, opening her notes app for her column ideas. “Ahem. It means ‘the instinctive knowledge of the right course of action in any circumstance, knowing just what to do and how to do it’. Mozu, do you think that’s a good thing?”

“Isn’t it obvious?” he blinked, and she grinned. 

“Nope! I actually think the opposite. To know just what to do, how to do it, for any problem, doesn’t that mean you need to know everything and have expertise for every subject? Do you think it’s reasonable for one person to know everything and always be the one to make the correct decisions?”

Although she knew he didn’t like to make assumptions about where she was leading him, there was a hint of a smile showing on his face. 

“You don’t need to be good at everything, or make all the hard decisions yourself. I’ll be here. And, if we fight about something…” She laughed fondly, “Well, don’t we have Ana for that?”

The bud of a smile on his lips bloomed into a flower, and she felt her heart soar. “You’re right.”

"Please, just take a break. I'll tell Mrs. Chi that you need to rest." He said, taking put his phone and looking for your supervisors number.

"Taehyung, I'm fine. Look, let me finish and I promise I'll tell you to come pick me up. Is that okay with you?"

He sighed, he originally wanted to spend time with you but with your coughs and high temperatures, he wanted to take care of you.

"Fine, call me when you're done."

"Okay, love you!" You said, he grabbed your waist before you could even do anything and placed a kiss on your forehead.

You smiled, and placed a kiss on his cheek.

Waving bye and driving away, you started to regret going, if you went back he'd probably say 'I told you so,' or 'You should've listen to me,'

You brushed the thoughts away and tried to ignore the itch in your throat. Arriving, your supervisor, Mrs. Chi, noticed as soon as you arrived something was up.

"Sweetie, are you alright?" She asked.

"Yeah, just a bit tired." You said, you placed your stuff down.

"You know, the mailing doesn't need to be fixed today."

"But, if we don't fix it, the same thing will happen just like when people stopped cleaning after the meetings."

She sighed.

"Fine, go do it, I guess." She went back to her phone.

You went and saw the baskets of boxes, papers, and packages.

You looked for the things that people were missing and the ones that had to be shipped today on the computer. Your eyes grew tired after seeing the same thing over and doing the same thing over and over. The pain in your stomach grew more and more. You stood up and went to the bathroom to wash your face.

As soon as you saw the mirror you realized Taehyung was right. Your face was red and your eyes were puffy. You then felt your throat itch more, coughs filled the empty sound and later on, the sound of throwing up replaced it.

Wiping the excess puke off your face, you washed your hands and face.

"God damn it," You muttered, getting out of the bathroom, you were face to face with one of your friends, Jihyo.

"YN, don't get mad at me, but I heard you throwing up and I called Taehyung."

"What? No, Ji, I have to finish the mail. I'm halfway done!"

"YN, you need to rest. Also, think of it as a day-off." She said.

Getting a call from Taehyung, you excused yourself from her and answered it.

"Hello?"

"YN, I'm at the parking lot, get your things, we're leaving." He said.

"Taehyung I-," "Shush, let's go!" He whined.

"Fine, I'm coming," You chuckled and got your things.

"Mrs. Chi, I have to leave early, if anything happens, call me." You told her.

"Good! Go rest, you need it!" She said.

You smiled and then looked for Taehyung.

Finding his car, you ran to the car and went inside.

"Can I say it?" He asked, smirking.

"God, fuck you."

He chuckled and started driving back home.

Taehyung sent you some glances here and there.

"YN, why'd you want to go to work?" He asked.

"I just wanted to finish everything,"

"Well, look. If you go to work tomorrow, we're gonna fight." He chuckled.

He parked the car in the driveway and insisted on opening your car door. He turned on the shower, got your clothes ready, and went to make something hot for you to eat.

Before you went in the shower, you gave him a kiss.

"Thank you, Tae,"

"Anytime,"

He kissed your head and you went to shower.

After washing your hair and body, you went and put the clothes he got you. It was cute pajamas, the one he especially liked on you in fact. You smiled to yourself and put them on.

Walking out, you saw Taehyung cooking something at the stove. You went and hugged him from behind, Taehyung hummed when he smelled your shampoo.

"Thank you, Taehyung." You said.

He turned off the stove and turned around to give you a hug.

"Anything for you," he said, kissing your forehead.

A/N: sorry for no recent posts I've had school and stuff plus I've had no ideas on what to post but here's something for y'all :)

"I'm gonna start a face-cam stream, is that alright?"

Ranboo asked as he stood in the doorway, putting on his glasses. You nodded as you stood up and walked towards where he was before being engulfed into a hug.

"Of course it's alright, there's no need to ask if it is. Have fun with it."

You replied. He gave you a smile before putting on his mask and making his way to his streaming room. You made your way back to your spot where you were sitting before and turned on the TV. You were scrolling through the channels until you eventually heard the very similar sound of him checking up on his chat. It made you smile, how much he cared for the chat. You understood there were many people out there that are actually living off his streams. The thought filled your head as you continued scrolling through the TV channels, before settling one that had your favourite show on.

You were snacking on food from the kitchen, now binging through Netflix over 2 hours after Ranboo started his stream.

"Holy shit, how does he stream for that long?"

You questioned to yourself, low-key missing him even though he was only upstairs. It wasn't long after that the episode finished, and you decided to get up and go into Ranboo's stream room. You didn't say a thing as you opened the door, you just walked over to his seat and cuddled into him on his lap. Just one thing. He was doing a face-cam stream. Oops. You were told, yes but completely forgot. Little did you know, as you were getting comfortable, Tommy and Dream were spamming questions through his headset and into his ears. He quickly turned off his camera for your privacy, but Tommy and Dream had already seen. They had the stream open the entire time. Tommy was screaming things like "Is that a woman??" and "LOL SIMP MOVE." whereas Dream was being a bit more polite and asking things like "Is that your s/o?" and "Does she also play Minecraft?" There was alot of awkward laughs coming from his end, and alot of questions from the other. You had your eyes closed, but could still hear the answers, managing to try and work out the questions from them.

Eventually Ranboo got sick of them both. All he said was "Alright bye." Before immediately leaving the call and ending the stream abruptly.

"You alright?"

He asked you, taking off his mask and glasses looking at you curled up in his lap.

"Yeah, I just missed you."

He laughed at your reply. You lifted your head up and looked at him as if to say "What?"

"I've only been gone just over 2 hours. Guess you are a bit needy?"

You pulled a shocked look onto your face.

"I'm not needy! You just stream for a long time!"

He laughed a bit more before bringing you closer to him. He started swaying side to side in his chair as you both talked.

"Tommy called me a simp thanks to you."

You laughed at the random comment.

"But it's ok, I just said 'im not a simp, she's just clingy.'"

You rolled your eyes before muttering "still a simp to lemme stay though." and denied any fact of you saying so.
