I didn’t have a suitable offering bowl or plate for Hades (all my bowls had been dedicated to other deities already), so I made a wee one myself !!
It’s far from perfect, but making it felt really comforting. It’s a bit of a simplified pomegranate, because I didn’t want the design to distract from the offerings themselves that’ll be placed on it (including real pomegranate seeds, haha). 🤍

a great example of communicating with the gods through intuition is my wine glass adventure today, lol:
I headed out to buy a red wine glass for Hades’ offering since I don’t own any. I walked into the first store, and instantly saw a glass I thought was really pretty. I immediately could imagine it in my house, and so, I wanted to use it for Hades’ offering, but I got a feeling I should go to the next store to check what they had.
and there, on a random shelf, stood a discounted wine glass.
my immediate thought was “oh no” because I immediately felt drawn to it, even though it was one I’d have never chosen for myself. I tried to ignore it and kept checking for other options, but every single cell in my body was pulling me back to that discounted, beige/brown tinted glass.
it’s not ugly! it’s quite pretty with a golden brim and high quality glass, but nothing about it looks like me or my home. and yet, it’s been a long while since I’ve felt this drawn to an object.
and so, I bought it and can already tell that certain someone is very glad that I did.
all this to say: signs from gods do not have to be big. you do not have to hear their voices in your mind, telling you what to do. signs can be as simple as feeling drawn to a wine glass that’s aesthetic is the opposite from what you’d choose for yourself.
that is a sign. learn to listen to it, and you can’t go wrong. 🖤

the past few days have been really, really tough. I’ve tried my best to keep Hades in mind, and somewhere deep down I know that he appreciates it (and me), but it’s hard to not feel like I’m not good enough when my mental health and disabilities interfere with my practice.
#I just feel like I’m not doing enough but I also struggle to feel connected to my spiritual side enough to be able to do more#maybe I’ll light a candle for him tomorrow ): that sounds nice. we can hang out while I try to do nice hobbies#alora jabbers

I’m thinking of gathering the courage to head to a cemetery one of these days to bring a flower to each forgotten grave !! it feels right.
#my fear is that someone will see me and think I’m insane#but honestly if this is what full on insanity looks like I’m on board with it#then I am happily insane#alora jabbers#it would be a little devotional act to Hades <3

when I was still actively worshipping Hermes and Apollon (a good few years ago now), they would always make an appearance together & it was one of the most heartwarming things I’ve ever experienced during my years as a pagan. the vibes were always so beautiful, and warm, and fun. with them, it felt like everything was going to be not just okay but actually wonderful. 🧡
#I miss them#they gave such brotherly/best friend vibes#once hermes tricked me into getting an offering bowl for apollon and then he claimed it for himself lol#alora jabbers#hermes#apollo#apollon#hermes worship#apollo worship#hellenic polytheist#hellenic#hellenism
