He is fascinated by the calmness that emanates from you when you crochet something. Hunter admires your dexterity. Sometimes he sits down with you, leans back and watches you, relaxing completely. You chat gently about trivial things, enjoying the serenity of each other's presence. You have crocheted him a scarf out of very fine, thin wool, which he practically always wears. You have to wash and mend it quite often, the garment has to withstand a lot. But he loves this scarf, he would never give it up. Even if Crosshair teases him about it. The Sniper sneers, "Are we wearing new accessories now? Where's your matching purse?" Hunter chuckles calmly, "You're just jealous"

Echo

He watches, admiring how patterns slowly form from what you do, shapes. Time flies by, he doesn't even realize how long he's been sitting there until Tech impatiently calls out to him. Startled, Echo jumps up. "I'm coming!" You grin and look after him, naturally enjoying every bit of his attention, even if he's just watching you silently, fascinated. When he discovers the pretty woolen blanket you crocheted for him in his bunk that evening, he beams all over his face. "You made this for me?" "Of course," you say with a big smile. And of course, he snuggles up in his bunk with you to break in the new blanket.

Wrecker

As Omega has his Lula most of the time, you have crocheted a new one for Wrecker, as true to detail as possible. You don't want him to miss his old Lula. His eyes are almost overflowing with joy. "My own Lula? Just for me?" You beam at him happily and nod. "Just for you, big guy" Wrecker laughs and looks at your gift with a heart swelling with affection. Crosshair, who is just coming into the room, asks, "What new toy have you discovered?" Wrecker happily presses the new Lula into his face. "Look what I got as a present! Look at it! Look! Look!" Wrecker rumbles amusedly, pressing the cuddly toy into the Sniper's face again and again. Crosshair rolls his eyes and tries to dodge. "You're amazed, aren't you?" rumbles Wrecker cheerfully, "Jealous?" Crosshair grumbles sarcastically, "Very"

Tech

Everything that is new and that he doesn't know or hasn't learned yet fascinates him. Tech watches you for a while and then tries it out for himself. His dexterous fingers and alert mind quickly get the hang of it. It becomes a shared hobby that you practice together in quiet hours, sometimes you talk, sometimes you just enjoy each other's presence in silence, smiling at each other from time to time. Tech is always happy to receive any gift, but especially those made with care and love. He uses every blanket, every scarf and everything else you crochet for him only too gladly and with pride. He has someone by his side who cares about him, and these little gifts show that clearly for all to see. Tech really enjoys that.

Crosshair

Don't be fooled by his critical look, you should know by now that he almost always looks like this. His eyes follow the movements of your fingers with interest. Maybe he'll ask you a question or two about where you learned to do this, for example. However, he doesn't like to share your attention, not even with objects, so he may try to distract you from time to time because he wants you to engage with him. Sometimes he's a bit like a child who needs your attention. But in quiet moments he will sit with you, let you lean against him and watch you calmly. You know he's not the type for blankets, cuddly toys or scarves. So you've crocheted him the CF99 emblem with his name on it using the finest wool. As he accepts the gift, he looks at you questioningly and a little surprised. " I want you to always carry something of mine with you," you say gently. A smile twitches at the corners of his mouth as he tucks it under his armor. Since that day, he always carries the emblem with him, no matter where he goes.

Mayday

The moments you can enjoy in peace, you often have your legs tangled together while you crochet, covered with several of your homemade blankets, snuggled up together. Barton IV is a damn cold planet. Mayday likes to watch you and chat with you while you crochet. He is happy about every gift, scarves, gloves, hats, sweaters, because as I said before, it's damn cold on Barton IV and the Empire doesn't take very good care of its clones. His brothers also enjoy the little gifts you give them. You feel so sorry for the men who have to freeze so much at work every day. Mayday's heart is always beating faster when you crochet something new for him or his men. "You have far too soft a heart," he says gently. You smile and say, "Only because you keep it so nice and warm every day"

Elvis arriving in Hawaii January 9, 1973

On January 9, 1973 (one day after his birthday), Elvis Presley arrives in Hawaii for his televised concert "Aloha From Hawaii" due to January 14.

This is my favorite set of pictures of Elvis. I feel like having a room with all those pictures around (walls to roof, lol). They have such a joyful energy to me. 🥹 Although all his pictures in Hawaii are incredibly perfect I love the January 1973 ones more than anything else so I tried to put the pictures together in a logical sequence of what I figured happened in that moment: Elvis arriving by helicopter, getting out of it, meeting with fans and talking to the press, then hopping in a car and heading to the hotel.

And the most special part of this post comes right away. I'm so happy to share this with you! I FOUND A FEW PICTURES OF ELVIS WITHOUT THE LEIS ON! Maybe some of you have seen it before but it's a first for me, so here it goes (E was wearing an interesting necklace):

A few months ago I noticed in one of the pictures from that day that Elvis was wearing (underneath a thick layer of leis) a beautiful black shirt with a white lines and red dots pattern, but there was only a thin bit of the shirt that was in sight. It's a shame the pictures I found are blurred but still... I'm happy you have no idea. I think E barely left the helicopter and a whole bunch of flowers were thrown around him immediately, which would explain those pictures not being so easy to find (and not having many of them to find) — But hey, no complains from me... the leis hold a very special meaning and they look great on Elvis, of course, but I was dying to see the full outfit and I guess some of you might have been too.

Selina choked out tears at this point seeing the bracelets word why was nobody coming she thought sobbing you caressed your sisters face wiping the tears off her face you smiled softly "oua, don't cry, baba ill always be with you.." you smiled weakly clarisse stopped fighting a quickly made her way to Selina a you she gazed in utter disbelief the love her life was perishing before her eyes Selina looked away she couldn't bear the pain of seeing your face anymore you mumbled "don't blame each other, clarisse," you spoke stuttering in your sentence your soft voice "take my bracelet.." and then you spoke for the last time "my one wish clarisse, don't hide from others there is going to be many who loves you other than me so don't hide yourself from love and look after my sister please my love.." clarisse had tears coming out of her she replied "this is not fair, don't leave me, don't you dare go and leave without" Selina spoke "Aloha au iā ʻoe, ʻaʻole au e poina iā ʻoe.." they both hated the gods for taking you away your eyes closed with with tears strolling down the side of your face clarisse gently caressed your beautiful face gifted by your mother now cold your eyes peacefully shut clarisse a Selina sobbing in pain clarisse kissed your cold skin crying in to your chest holding the bracelet to her heart or to the empty spot where her heart was and put her forehead on yours you twos nose together for the last time she wish she could go back in time..

-Aloha type is ok, but I was careful! It has a cow-like pattern. He's just there as (Bepo's) company, so I think a simple worn out shirt would work.

- The neck is slightly wide. He doesn't hang his sword on his waist in his combat gear. Uta probably won't turn him into [bottom left design], so at first it's [bottom right design]. After immediately taking (the jacket) off, he becomes [bottom left design].

Mr. Badge, did you go to jury duty with anime hair?

Actually I kinda had Guy Fieri hair -- my hair has darkened as I've aged, so I bleach now before dye, and it's been a while since I dyed or cut it. Right now I've got dark roots with bleached tips where the dye has all washed out, so I look a bit like a surf bro.

I also predominantly wear floral-patterned camp shirts (basically Hawaiian/Aloha shirts) either on their own or over t-shirts, so I definitely stand out. I mentioned to some friends that I felt weird in the jury box because all of the attorneys and most of the witnesses spent a lot of time talking seemingly directly to me, and I suspected the attorneys had told the witnesses to speak to me because I'm easy to spot. My friends replied "So you are the anime protagonist of the trial?" and I couldn't really disagree.

My parents don't like it when I come home with non-natural hair, so I try not to dye it right before going home; I'm seeing them this coming week, but after I get back from Texas there's a bottle of pink dye waiting for me. :D

Being a Fat-Tailed Gecko, you have to stay pretty warm, warmer than your brothers

They prefer anything from 60-75 degrees (because their half human most turtles prefer 70-80), while you prefer 70-85 (fat-tailed geckos prefer 80-90, but you're a mutant)

This means you wear layers upon layers during winter, Leo says you look like a marshmallow during winter

When you were younger, the boys often worried and went a little crazy when you didn't eat, especially when your tail slimmed out during that time

It took Splinter making a google search to cheer the boys up that you weren't starving

This actually became very handy when helping Donnie in his lab

One day while you guys were fighting some bad guys, someone grabbed your tail and it fell off

The guy screamed, you screamed, everyone screamed

You'd never done that before

Thank God for google... But your tail was rounder and had a different pattern than before, not that you really minded.

Your detachable tail became pretty useful, though you hate losing your tail

You're manly carnivorous due to your gecko genes, the boys being complete omnivores made dinner hard sometimes

Location: The Cruise Ship (abandoned cabins) Status: Closed for @alexpanganiban Turns out that the upper levels of the cruise ship were much easier to navigate than the lower ones. Funny how that works, when things weren't waterlogged and all. Lokni found himself gathering four suitcases from around the cabins and consolidating them into one room, hoping to find clothing and other salvageable items. Currently, the cabin the Lokni was in was small and quaint, a set of bunk beds and a single vanity made of white wood adorned the room. The bedding was designed with light blue and white striped covers, overlaying sheets with a navy blue anchor pattern. It was some sort of chic beach theme, however, that was lost on Lokni. After years of living in a trailer in the middle of the mountains, interior design wasn't as appealing. That was for people who had the means to do so. Despite this, Lokni could still appreciate the aesthetic. He had to admit that the design choice helped accentuate the natural light that came through the small cabin window- and made it clearer for him to see what he was doing. His clothes weren't in the best condition, and compared to everyone else walking around on the island he felt a little out of place in his cowboy boots and tattered t-shirt. If he could just find something in his size, he would be thankful. The first suitcase was a bust, he popped it open to reveal a collection of women's clothing, something that he didn't need. He was about to discard it from his stack but a glint of silver metal caught his eye. There was a single silver bracelet, with a small, pearly pink butterfly that glinted in the low light of the cabin. It was simple, but in its simplicity, there was an elegance to it that piqued Lokni's interest. As he turned the cool metal over in his hands a certain person came to mind, someone that this would look nice on. Feeling a little self-conscious, he pocketed the bracelet. The next suitcase was a little more reasonable. This one had a collection of men's clothes, mind you, more suited for a vacation than tropical island survival. At this point, Lokni would take what he could get. There was a collection of rayon Aloha shirts- each pattern just as loud and obnoxious as the last. It wasn't his style, but it was light and breathable. Perhaps he could pull it off, using them more as a jacket than a standalone shirt. It might be too humid here for an undershirt, but he doubted that socially acceptable clothing was a concern here. Next to the shirts he found two pairs of shorts, one khaki pair and the other a camouflage one. Lokni was biased towards the camouflage pair, as he suspected that if they were gonna' be here a while, he was going to have to hunt eventually. Experimentally, he shirked his personal clothing items and tried on the green camouflage shorts with one of the Aloha shirts. This one in particular was scarlet with orange hibiscus flowers overlayed in a flamboyant pattern. He turned to the mirror at the vanity below the cabin window. It wasn't optimal, but it would get the job done. Lokni was about to change back into his own clothes when from the mirror's reflection, he glanced a flicker of movement. He whirled around, his fingers fumbling for the knife at his belt- only to find that it wasn't there as it was on his own, personal pair of jeans. "Is someone there?" Lokni cautiously called out to the hallway.
