My wheelbarrow garden stared looking a bit worse for wear. The marigolds had dies back and the calendula had turned to seed. The cosmos has a bit more life to it with new buds each week. . However I decided to give it an autumn lift with pansy, dianthus, primroses and ornamental grasses. My wife is getting the allotment bug, we are hoping to get the plot next to mine. I am getting it in my name as it is easier but we have to wait till next week to see if it is free. She is going to make it her garden we are going to have to do an old style garden we’re you mix your flowers and veg together. So we have our fingers crossed but than I have a lot of work to do to get it ready for her. So pleased with my allotment lupins two gorgeous colours in purple and deep red. I grew these from seed last year and had so many that even after giving to friends and family I had plenty planting about eight in our own garden I had three for the allotment where they have THRIVED. Tuesday looks like a good good day enjoy the sunshine 🌼💛 here's a daisy pic from yesterdays allotment visit. Daisies also grow in parts of the lawn in the back garden. I don't pull them up as the pollinators like them.
