Okay the whole thing with Metatron is getting very sketchy more and more every time.
First with the "All the almonds" coffee. Which was only weird after he already said: 'Here, take an almond coffee. Don't you like almonds? All the almonds.
At by which it was a bit too repeated. Suspiciously. Then even the episode's description has that damn drink mentioned, like it's highlighted, important.
Not to mention every angel wears white/grey/creamy but always on the lighter spectrum. Even Crowley's "bee hive" costume. But Metatron wears black.
I could say he manipulates Aziraphale, but it's more likely he manipulates everyone, given his job and rank. He wanted Aziraphale to tell about the offer to Crowley, he said he can wait with deciding on this, but then he just waited outside like he was ready for shit to go down. I don't know, these are just speculations, but it is sketchy.

Another Lighthouse Related Find
Here's another situation where I was working on genealogy stuff and happened upon something lighthouse related.
My relatives are at the top of this page from the Portsmouth City Directory from 1933 but I immediately saw the USLS (United States Lighthouse Service).
More can be found about Holder Almy at the United States Lighthouse Society's J. Candace Clifford Lighthouse Research Library: https://archives.uslhs.org/type-person/engineers

I recently noticed the way you draw your OC Allmond’s eyes is different from the others, mainly in their pupils. Is there any specific reason behind it?
aaa yes and no
Allmond is more of a silly/'sona'/shitpost character that isn't intended to be taken seriously and mostly just exists for fun, and when I designed her I mostly had 'I want her to look like she has the mii channel music playing in her head at all times on an endless loop' in mind so she has white pupils to make her look weird
trying to give her regular pupils looks wrong to me now and doesn't fit that vibe as well
I do often joke with friends for fun that she's got supernatural ties to the 'formless god' in some way though just because the idea of it is kinda funny to me

How do you make your Glögg?
This one was bought at the store, served with allmonds and rasins. 🎄 My mother used to make glögg och mjöd for chrismas when I grew up. But I buy mine or get from friends and family. Have other projects that take time. 😅 Gingerbread house and cookies, lussekatter (bullar), knäck and decorations. 😊

WIPs in your google docs got you down? Craving the validation of sharing your unfinished fic without the guilt of not finishing it? Wishing you could read what happens next in your fic without having to actually write it yourself?
Say hello to the Abandoned TUA Fic Orphanage! Simply post your WIP to AO3 and add it to this collection. And if you're a fic author looking for inspiration? Why not take a gander and see if any of the fics strike your fancy and you want to finish or even just add to them.
This collection was created on a whim without a whole lot of thought about how it will actually work, but I guess we can figure that out as we go if people think it's useful? I just know that I like many other fic authors have some unfinished fics that are just collecting dust and I wish there were something useful that could be done with them.

Chancery Lawsuit Against the Estate of Solomon Butler 1909
My 3rd great-grandfather on my Allmond side was Solomon Butler who was born free. I can see him on the 1850 census as living in the home of William Allmond who also had an enslaved black woman named Charlotte, my 3rd great-grandmother. In 1854, William Allmond died and somewhere between then and 1860, Charlotte was moved to the home of the son William J. Allmond. However, I do not see Solomon Butler there. On the 1860 Census, I do see a Solomon Butler in the home of the Baileys, a free black family living very close to William Sr.'s widow. However, his age is listed as 3 or 4 years younger than the Solomon in 1850 so I am not 100% sure this is my Solomon Butler. I have a marriage record for him from 1866 where he listed his father as Moses King, who is the person previous family historians on the Allmond side have recorded. I am tracking that Butler family to confirm relation later. Anyway ...
So Solomon Butler died in 1896 leaving some unpaid debts and some debts were incurred after his death. These are receipts from a chancery suit against his estate in 1909.
One of his sons, Henry Butler, paid these property taxes and was part of the suit.
One of these is for his coffin.
Since the date on the coffin receipt is October 1, 1896, I'm going to put "before October 1, 1896" in my tree for his death date until I find more solid proof of that date.
The case file even included the following notice as well as a receipt for its expense.
* Charlotte was also married several years after the Civil War and they all lived within the same vicinity of each other.

Grandfather Portrayed in Black History Month Program
I found this church announcement in The Smithfield Times, Volume 72, Number 8, dated February 20, 1991. One of the historical Black figures that were portrayed in the Black History Program was my grandfather, Calvin Allmond. I was stunned ... especially since he passed away in 1978.

Birth Record for 2nd Great Granduncle Anthony Allmond
I found the birth record for my 2nd great granduncle Anthony Allmond. He was born May 15, 1853. You can see from the label that the record was “filmed out of sequence”.
On the second page that should show the mother seems to be from a different page because it doesn’t match up. What you do see is William Allmond listed as owner.
I wonder if there’s another scan of this document somewhere else. I found this one on FamilySearch.
