“Welcome to the family.” Derek smiled, hugging Y/n as she and Peter entered the loft having just got back from their honeymoon. Y/n and Derek had been friends since junior high but now she was his sister in law and Derek wasn’t disappointed. “Cora sends her congrats and welcome but she had to leave.”
“Its okay. I already talked to her.” Y/n smiled, waving it off, her and Cora had already talked a few days before. “Its great to finally be apart of the family.” Y/n groaned back at Peter along with Derek.
“Sorry I didn’t want to rush things.” Peter narrowed his eyes at the two.
“You have been in love with her since you were 14. I think you took your damn time.” Derek raised his brows looking at his uncle with an exaggerated look. Even if he was somewhat commatoused for a few years, his uncle still took his damn time.
“I’m just glad you did it to begin with.” Y/n let out a laugh, it was a long time coming.
“It's been a longtime coming.” Peter pulled Y/n, his wife, into his side and kissed her. He could be soft with her.
“There's a pack meeting tonight here at the loft.” Derek told them after their little moment, Y/n is good for his uncle. Doesn’t mean he wouldn’t kill him again to protect her, but she did make him a better person.
“I’ll be there.” Y/n told him.
“Will you?” Derek asked his uncle knowing how much he did not care for the pack.
“Since my wife will be there, yes. I gotta know what I’ll have to protect you from when their plans go wrong.” Peter stated sarcastically. Y/n and Derek just looked at eachother and rolled their eyes.
^     ^     ^
“Your back!” Scott said with a smile rushing over to hug Y/n once the pack entered the loft and saw she was there. They had all missed her.
“You’ve been gone so long.” Allsion said having missed her older friend. Y/n was older than the group of teens, she was the older sister figure of the pack.
“Where’d you go?” Stiles asked.
“Is that a ring on your finger?” Lydia points out having caught the shine of it catching the light.
“You got married?” Allison questioned in shock, having looked down to Y/n’s hand like everyone else after hearing Lydia.
“Yes.” Y/n nodded.
“Without us?” Scott gave her his sad puppy dog eyes.
“We plan on having a reception with all of you sometime in the near future.” Y/n smiled at them and she saw her words lesson their sadness.
“We? Who’s the dude?” Stiles raised a brow.
“Peter.”
“Peter as in Peter Hale?!” Scott’s eyes bulged out of his head.
“As in Derek’s uncle?” Allison was less shocked but more surprised.
“Yes, she's a Hale now.” Derek smirked proudly.
“I am.” She smiled.
“Peter Hale?” Stiles squinted his eyes, still not believing it.
“Is there something wrong with me?” Peter raised his eyebrows pretending to be innocent. He spoke up for the first time since the pack arrived from his spot on the couch.
“You're a psychopath for starters.” Stiles stated addressing the oldest Hale.
“He’s different with her. I’ll defend him on that. He has always been different when it comes to Y/n.” Derek spoke up.
Y/n walked over to Peter, sitting on the arm of the couch.
“That's because she’s different. She’s mine.” Peter growled the last part possessively.
“And you're mine.” Y/n smiled at him leaning over to kiss him.
“Oh he’s been yours since he laid eyes on you.” Derek teased and he got satisfaction when his uncle flashed his eyes at him but couldn’t deny his nephew's statement.

“I like you a lot”

You were at school, leaning against your locker. smiling at and laughing with Stiles, until you caught Isaac glaring at you across the hall, visibly upset.
"alright Stiles I've got to go now, I'll see ya" you walked away after Stiles nodded and walked to Scott, and you made your way to Isaac.
"hey" you flashed him a smile and he blushed. How could he not? he thought you were the most beautiful thing ever.
The beta glanced over Stiles before turning back to you. "hey.." he spoke softly.
"Just tired... I uhh, I’ve got a lot on my mind lately" he said slowly and softly, not wanting to ruin this moment between you two.
You nodded slowly, feeling bad for him. "well you know, you can always talk to me" you said softly, reassuring him that he's got someone by his side.
You watched him closely as he looked at you quietly, and you didn't want to rush him to speak, you knew how sensitive Isaac is. It made him feel pathetic when he opened up to anyone or asked for help, that's what his dad has taught him. That a man is a man, boys don't cry, but Isaac knew you, he loved you, trusted you, and he knew your listen and get him anytime.
"I've just been going back.. thinking about my family" He looked down as his expression softened.
"oh" you whispered softly and placed your hand on the boy's back, rubbing it gently. "I know you've suffered from your dad your whole life, but his death Isn’t your fault".
Isaac flinched, but he didn't move away from you. Even though your gesture was tiny, it felt huge to him, It made him on top of the world. He let out a soft sigh and ran his fingers through his hair. "I know... I just-" he paused, unsure if he can keep going or not, but he really counted on you, so he kept going. "I didn't even cry at the funeral and everyone thinks I don't care, that I was wishing the whole time i'd get rid of him, and the problem is.. it's true. I was relieved that he's dead"
"Honey listen to me" you took a step closer, placing both your hands on his shoulder. "your dad used to lock you in a freezer. that night.. that night he hurt you and you ran like any other night, because you didn't know what he would die" you then place your hand on isaac's cheek, caressing it softly "you were just scared, you did nothing wrong"
Isaac paused for a moment and leaned into your touched as he shivered. The relief he felt when his father died was a burden to him, but he knew you were saying the truth so he bit his lip thoughtfully. He wanted to say that your hand felt to right on his skin, but he didn't and rubbed his face with his hand then looked at you hesitantly as he spoke. "I- Iwas scared" his voice trembled as he stammered softly, making you unsure if he meant you to hear him. he slowly smiled at you softly and leaned into your touch again, causing his breath to hitch.
you sighed softly as you try to build up some courage and confidence to ask him to go out with you, but you were too scared that he'd turn you down so you just looked quietly at the ground until you heard a familiar 5 taps on the locker next to you and looked to the direction to see lydia. She must have noticed your flustered face because she tilted her head at Isaac and winked at you. You two have been talking about it and she was eager for you to confess to him, and apparently she was so sure Isaac wouldn't let you down for a reason she wouldn't tell.
you snapped out of my trance as Isaac cleared his throat and looked at the same direction you were just looking at, except there was nobody there.
"sorry about that. I was just wondering if you would want to go home with me? I mean-" You paused and took a deep breath. "why don't you come over and we can just.. relax?" you asked nervously as he just looked at you quietly. "Scott's sneaking out with Allison again and our mom won't be home until ten.. so I was thinking if you'd want to just come over instead of staying alone or with Derek, he could be lame sometimes" I chuckle nervously and put on a fake confident grin.
Isaac stayed quiet for a moment or two, taking in your words, and he thought there was no way he could turn that down, the thought of you and him alone in the house with no distractions. He knew he wanted it but he wasn't sure if you did. if you were just doing him a favour because you felt bad, but he decided to push his paranoia to the side and smiled at you softly with a blush on his cheek, nodding. "I'd like that, if you're okay with it"
"ahh perfect! we are gonna have so much fun! we can watch the notebook too if you want to, or maybe cook or play or just" you pause for a second or two, not wanting to creep Isaac out with your sudden excitement. "we could just.. chill you know?" You looked up at him with a smile.
The two of you walked to your house, as Stiles has already left with his jeep, and while you were walking you felt Isaac's hand brush against yours until he took it in, intertwining your fingers together. you could feel how his hand shakes softly and you knew his stomach was probably flipping, he was a nervous wreck.
You held his hand confidently the way home until you reached it and opened the front door for the two of you. After walking in, you turned to Isaac and smiles. "do you wanna stay in the living room, or go to my room? or we can even cook something!" you asked excitedly.
"Your room...?" He asked hesitantly. Your room was usually off limits, that's where you go to relax on your own, away from the pack. He couldn't deny how much he wanted to be there with you. But part of him knows it won't end at just being in your room. Not that he had a problem but that he was worried from Scott's reaction if he knew Isaac was in his sister's room alone in the house. Scott and Isaac were best friends and Isaac didn't want to risk it, but he still loved you.
you saw the look on isaac's face as he started to look overwhelmed, and more anxious than he was, so you decided to cool it down. "I mean it's okay but if you don't want to that's fine. we can sit in the living room" you shrugged, leaving the decision for him to make as you looked at his eyes.
Isaac nodded slowly, looking at your lips then your eyes. "your room" he said softly and carelessly. He wanted to be with you alone. he didn't care what scott would think, he didn't care what the whole pack would think, he only cared about you and being with you, he wanted you.
you smiled and tilted your head for him to follow you. you walked past Scott's room until you reached your room then you walked to the bed, After taking off your shoes, sitting on the bed, then patting on the space next to you for Isaac to sit on.
Isaac followed you to your room, closing his door behind him. His heart skipped a beat when you asked him to sit next to you and the only thing he could think of is how nervous he is. he looked at you and he thought you look so vulnerable, sitting alone waiting for him to join you, so he took a few steps, trying to regulate his breath before sitting next to you. He was so close and nervous, slowly turning his neck to look at you.
"so.. what would you like to do?" you asked softly, trying to make sure he's not uncomfortable.
Isaac looked at you and for the first time he has walked in the room, he didn't know what to say. A part of him wanted to kiss you and see what happened but he didn't want to make you pressured, and he didn't want to risk kissing Scott's sister, he was the leader of the pack, so he let the silence between you linger before he decided to break the ice.
"can I be honest with you?" he stressed.
"of course, I won't judge" i nodded in reassurance
Isaac struggles to speak so he leans closer to you. He just wants you to understand him, he needs you to know how he feels, what he's been thinking of, but it's hard for someone like him, someone whom emotions always were rejected. He took a deep breath and leaned closer as his eyes fluttered between your lips and eyes then he opened his mouth to speak but he failed so he looked one more time at you before smashing his lips on yours as he moved one hand on the back of your neck as the other ran over your back to your hips, pulling your whole body into his lap while you froze in shock before pulling him closer, cupping his cheeks while you kissed him back with the same amounts of passion.
After a few moments he pulls away, and looks at you in shock, he had expected everything other than you kissing him back.
"I'm sorry. I probably shouldn't have kissed you and if scott finds out he's gonna kill me and-" you cut him off pulling him in another kiss, slowly pushing him to lay down as you move on top of him.
"Scott doesn't have to know" you whispered pulling him in a deeper kiss that made him forget everything.
he was in a daze as he pulled away from you. "you look so beautiful when you kiss me like that" he said softly with a soft smirk that caused you to blush.
He smiled softly as he gently ran his fingers thorough your hair. "you're so beautiful you know? it's just so hard to focus on anything else when we are like that, when you're with me. We can take this as slow as you want"
you pulled him for a kiss in response, breaking it as you smiling against lips, and he moaned softly, slipping his hands under your shirt, caressing your soft skin.
"i want this. you. Right here, right now, But I also don't want to hurt you so tell me what you want, darling." he whisper in your ear as his breath hit your neck, causing you to shiver.
"i want you, please" you whined and pulled him into another kiss as your tongue begged for entrance in his mouth. he let out a soft involuntary moan, as his caresses on your back got faster. His tongue danced with your and he began to grind on you, making you feel the hard bulge in his jeans that rubbed your throbbing pussy, until you pulled away from the kiss breathlessly, pushing him up by his chest, reaching to his shirt, playing with a soft fabric slowly. He sat up on his knees in front of you between your legs, taking off his shirt. You looked up at him, slowly placing the balm of your hand on his chest, tracing your finger over it to his stomach. He let out a low groan while he watched you trace your fingers over his chest, his muscles tensed under your touch.
"you're killing me honey" He whispered, moving closer to you as he kissed your neck slowly, then he sat up again as his hands found their way between your legs. Should undo your bra, or maybe start with these pants?" he teased, and sprung his claws out, moving them swiftly above you, tearing off your clothes.
"i loved that set" you pouted and he smirked
"i'll get you new ones" he pulled your clothes off your body, tossing them away on the floor with his shirt.
He smirked when he saw the blush on your face when you looked away, leaning down to your neck. "don't be shy baby" he whispered, before tracing kissed down your collarbone.
you moaned softly, moving your hands to caress his back softly and he let out a sigh against your skin. His hands found your thighs as he rubbed them slowly, kissing lower and lower. His kisses and nibbles reached your chest, taking a nipple in his mouth, swirling and sucking around it while he groped the other one with his hand, pinching the other nipple between his thumb and forefinger teasingly.
"I love you, so much" He showered your stomach with smooches and pecks, until his mouth found your slit, running his tongue through your wetness, humming in satisfaction. "so wet baby" he flicked your clit with his tongue as you struggled to answer him back, running your fingers through his hair as you pulled them gently. He took one of his hand, wrapping it around my waist to keep me down while he slid a finger in you with the other, slowly and gently, causing you to moan softly.
he sucked your clit harder making you pull his hair tightly, causing him to moan which vibrates against your pussy as his fingers go faster, feeling you clench around them, sucking them in. "Fuck Isaac" you whined. "i'm so close" you whispered, wondering if he even heard you, then he confirmed as he added a finger in, moving his fingers in a scissoring motion, stretching you out as you pull his hair tighter. "Isaac!" you warned, and he understood as you reached your climax, coating his fingers with your cum while he kept his gaze on you then he pulled them out, lapping at your pussy hungrily, taking in your juices.
"you're so sweet baby" he moved up to kiss you as you taste your own arousal. He pulled away from the kiss and you bit your lip, panting for air and you moved your hand to his head, pulling him back down to kiss you, you couldn't get enough of him.

are you currently open to doing reactions for teen wolf characters? cause if you are i’d love to see how you think stiles & allison would react to seeing a fem reader naked by accident hehe
yeah, as it says in my Rules, I love doing reactions and MLTs (especially cause they're fun, shorter fics that I can write quickly in order to get to know the characters better. they're a lot of fun)
so here we go
Requests for Teen Wolf are OPEN!!! Please read the rules first, though <3 also vote in this poll if you like Teen Wolf fics
How would Stiles Stilinski and Allison Argent react to seeing you naked by accident?
Warnings: mentions of sex/arousal/sexual desire (characters wanting to fuck the reader after seeing them naked), sexual themes but no explicit smut, reader is described as having breasts/is called a 'girl', mentions of Scott/Allison, mentions of Jackson/Reader (background, unimportant), mentions of the reader taking nudes/nude pictures, Allison's section is way longer than Stiles's oops (but that's because I've never written for her before and I got excited).
Tumblr media
Stiles would be coming to visit you on a random Saturday - something that he did often. And after letting himself in with his spare key and bounding up the stairs to your room, he would hear music coming from your room and think nothing of simply letting himself in. He could imagine that you were cutely dancing in your pajamas, using your hairbrush as a microphone - something that he would tease you for, but secretly loved.
He hadn't even thought to knock. The two of you were so close - best friends since you were in diapers, having grown up together, gone through everything together.
So when he opened the door and found you standing at the foot of your bed, naked, rubbing lotion over your skin almost sensually - a towel in a rumple at your feet as you had clearly just gotten out of the shower - in seconds, it changed his entire perspective of you. Seeing your gorgeous breasts, the roundness of your thighs, the perfect swell of your ass, the softness of your stomach - it put nothing but downright filthy images in his mind. And in seconds, you went from being his dorky childhood friend to a woman he now desperately wanted to fuck.
He didn't get to stand there for long and stare before you noticed him, but the image of you so beautifully bared was easily seared into his mind forever.
"Stiles?!" You screamed when you noticed him in the doorway, and he felt so terribly caught.
His instinct was to turn and run, but he was dumb from the amount of blood pooling in his cock. He tripped over his own feet and rammed headfirst into the doorway - hard. He became dizzy from the hit fell to the floor within seconds, groaning loudly in pain (and embarrassment) as he clutched the bruise blooming on his forehead.
You rushed to pick up your towel to cover yourself, and then rushed to see if he was okay.
"Oh my god, Stiles." You sighed, kneeling down by his side. "What is wrong with you?"
Well, he could add 'intense sexual desire for his best friend' to that list now.
Tumblr media
Allison loved having you over at her place. Between the chaos of dating and not-dating someone that her family had vowed to kill, and being trained by that family to kill others of his kind in the most traumatic and tiring way possible - you were a breath of fresh air in her life. You were the soothing relaxation she needed among the chaos.
She invited you over as often as possible because of this. Whether it was dinner with her family, studying, sleepovers where the two of you talked all night and ate junk food - you were over at her house often. Her family knew that the two of you were the best of friends, and they loved you because you were a smart, respectable, normal girl.
On this night, the two of you were having a regular study session. Nothing special - just sitting on her bed going over some homework. More so, enjoying each other's company in quiet while you worked individually.
"Do you have the notes that Mr. Hoffman wrote down today?" Allison asked you, looking up from her book. "I know he didn't want us to do all the problems, but I can't remember which numbers he wrote on the board."
"I took a picture of it." You told her, unlocking your phone and passing it to her. "Just flip through my camera roll, you'll find it. I gotta pee."
You slid off the bed and left her room for the bathroom, and she opened your camera roll looking for the picture of the blackboard that you had taken. She grinned when she saw that the first picture was of a random squirrel that you had seen outside during lunch. Very you.
Then - a picture of Stiles making an ugly face. Of course. He had stolen your phone during lunch. Then - Scott and Stiles. More Scott and Stiles. Then, pictures of your outfit that you had taken in the bathroom that morning at school. Then - wait, what?
A picture of you naked.
Allison's insides tensed.
It was a gorgeous picture of you, and though she felt a twinge of guilt over the fact that she knew she wasn't supposed to see it, she couldn't stop staring. You were laying on your bed, the morning sun pouring in through the curtains - it had probably been taken before school that morning. The picture showed everything from your collar bones to the tops of your thighs, your arm holding the camera high up to get a good angle of your amazing body.
Your breasts relaxed and your nipples peaked (it had to be from you teasing them up for the picture and not from the cold air, your room was always soft and cozy), your stomach so wonderfully soft, your pussy on display - showing off the dusting of pubic hair that you had their. Your knees pressed together, presenting your thighs in a soft, alluring position.
It made Allison's throat dry.
Before she could even think to keep looking for what she had actually needed, you came back into the room.
"Hey," You grinned at her as you moved to sit by her feet at the end of the bed. "You find it."
One thing that Allison knew by now - lying was useless and something she absolutely hated. You were one person in her life that she upheld honesty with as her greatest treasure.
"No." She said, taking a moment to re-moisten her mouth with saliva before she continued. "But - I found this."
She turned the phone screen toward you and your jaw dropped slightly before snapping shut again with a harsh sound.
"Oh." You breathed out. "That." You paused for a moment. "I - uh. Sorry you had to see that."
You took back your phone from her and locked it, staring at the floor with shame.
"I'm not." Allison said quickly. "You - you look beautiful."
It would be a few days before you fully unpacked what she had meant by this. Even Allison herself still hadn't fully acknowledged that she felt anything more than friendship for you.
You nodded. "Thank you." You took another moment. "I - just - I'm sorry it's awkward."
Allison nodded. She wasn't sure why she didn't feel as awkward as you did.
"Well - who was it for?" She couldn't help but to wonder.
She could only assume that you had taken the picture with the intention to send it to someone.
"Um, well... it was for Jackson." You told her.
The two of you had been texting a lot more frequently since he had broken up with Lydia.
Allison frowned.
"You are way too good for him." She insisted.
And that was the comment that stuck in your mind - that truly got you thinking about what your relationship with Allison meant.

Stiles Stillinski: The Best friend
Stiles stillinski x fem!reader
Summary:
Stiles and stiles are the best friends.
Also just to be clear I know that the true meaning behind this song is, I just heard that one clip and got an idea.
Tumblr media
(Stiles in a backwards cap>>>)
I’m just the best friend in Hollywood movies, who only exist to continue the story.
The pack had made plans to go bowling, and didn’t think to tell stiles and y/n who were sitting at home trying to solve one of their most recent supernatural problems. Y/n sighed “where the hell is Scott?” She asked impatiently. The pair had been waiting on him for about 45 minutes. Stiles shrugged and asked “should I call him again?”. Y/n shook her head “no, we’re gonna go over to his house and see what the hell is up” she said standing up. Stiles didn’t object following close behind her. when they arrived at Scott’s, stiles rang the door bell. Not 10 seconds later the door opened to show an out of breath Melissa. “Stiles, y/n? What are you doing here why aren’t you with the others?” She asked. The pair looked at each other then back at her in confusion “what do you mean Scott was supposed to meet us an hour ago to talk about the recent “drama”” stiles said. Melissa seemed taken aback “guys, the others are at the movies” she said. y/n looked at stiles shocked while he just stared at Melissa in seemingly stunned. “Okay, thanks” y/n said grabbing stiles and dragging him to the Jeep. Tears stung at y/ns eyes and stiles looked like he had just been betrayed. Y/n grabbed his hand making him look at her. She put a smile on as tears ran down her face “I’m sure it was a mistake” she said the words trying to cheer the boy up but not even believing them herself.
The girl gets the guy while I’m standing off screen
Y/n and stiles watched all of their friends fall in and out of love wondering if they’d ever find that kind of connection, They both found comfort in each other since in the same situation. It was especially bad when they both lost their crushes to people that weren’t them. They sat broken, crying together and eventually healed together.
So, ill wait for my cue to be comedic relief
“I don’t know how to help you to help me tell you something that would help you if I don’t know it” stiles said to Scott’s dad who was holding him and y/n hostage at this point. He looked to y/n “you seem to be the more sensible one here, help me out would ya?” Scotts dad asked. Y/n looked at stiles who just shrugged and back at the tall man in front of her “see I would help you but… I don’t know how to help you to help me tell you something that would help you if I don’t know it” she said making the man huff in anger, discreetly high giving stiles who had a proud look on his face.
Can’t be too loud
“SHHHHH” echoed across the room while everyone looked at stiles and y/n who were just goofing around during the game.
Can’t be too busy, if I don’t answer now are they still gonna need me?
Y/n had gotten a call from Allison who had asked if she and stiles could help find the new werewolf that they had discovered to which y/n politely declined for te=he first time ever as stiles had asked her on a date. After that it took a week and a half for either of them to be contacted
———
“Hey stiles” y/n spoke up from her place on his chest. She felt his hum vibrate through his body. “Do you think our friends would care if something were to happen to either of us?” She asked. Stiles stiffened as if caught off guard by the question. “Honestly I’m not sure, I think they’d fight to find or save us but not as hard as they would for each other.” He said sounding sad.
Not too long after that conversation void happened, Scott fought his hardest to get stiles back while y/n had sat with boiling anger towards the boy who had only just started caring for his “best friends” again.

I'm Not Afraid | Chapter 19
Tumblr media
Word Count: 3.6K
Story Description: (Y/N) Argent arrived at Beacon Hills to put to rest her father’s sister, Kate Argent. For the first time, her family has decided to settle down and sustain a life in this interesting small town. After 17 years, (Y/N) has the opportunity to establish interpersonal relationships but will she be ready to face the complications that come with relating to her cousin’s, Allison, friends; especially, the infamous Derek Hale. She will face the adventure of being associated with the Derek and McCall pack, as well as being faced with the discovery of certain aspects of her life she never imagined.
A/N: heheheheehehe 🤭🤭
<- Previous | Next ->
Tumblr media
By the time Stiles and (Y/N) had driven back to the school, classes were over, and students flooded the parking lot as they made their way to their cars. The pair parted ways with a promise to ditch school again one day. Stiles disappeared back into the school, and (Y/N) waited for Isaac to come out of hiding, which she had done for the past week. Yet, time passed, and there was no sign of the blond boy. He’d taken to appear while the crowd was heavy in order to conceal himself, but the parking lot emptied, and he didn’t come out.
Dread washed over her as she pulled out her phone to call him, worry swimming through her veins as the call was sent to voicemail. All she could think of was the worst thing that could happen. Her family had finally caught him, and he was currently being tortured for answers, or worse, he was already dead.
Her vision blurred with tears as the thoughts flooded her mind, guilt gripping tightly around her throat. She had already begun to blame herself for Isaac’s supposed capture. If she hadn’t been his friend, they would never have been able to pin him. Once more, she had gotten too close to someone and had put their lives in danger. As hard as she had tried to protect him, she had failed.
She zoomed through the streets as she made her way home, praying to whatever was out there that Isaac was in her house and had, for some reason, forgotten to charge his phone. As much as she wanted to think positively, she had never been wired that way. (Y/N) had been taught to think of everything that could go wrong in a situation, no matter how unnecessary it could be. Her mind flooded with thoughts of losing the one person she had fully trusted for the first time in many years. She could hear him calling for help, pulling his weight in whatever fight had ensued, giving it his all until there was nothing left to give. But it all ended the same way. With Isaac either hurt or dead.
As soon as she arrived at her house, she dropped her bike on the grass like it had burned her, not caring if it smashed into pieces as it hit the ground. She knew her parents weren’t home. Not only was their car gone, but the family also had them occupied every second of the day. The girl had free range to turn the house over to find her friend.
“Isaac?!” she yelled, waiting for a response that never came. “Isaac, are you here?”
She ran to the basement, not even noticing when her dog had joined her side. Brody barked to catch her attention, but she was focused on her parents’ office. (Y/N) clicked through their computers, searching for any hint in their calendars, any clue in their messages, anything. But there wasn’t even a post-it note out of place. Everything they knew, she had known long before them.
But she couldn’t stop there. If her family had anything to do with Isaac, there would be no evidence. She had to confront them face-to-face and deal with the repercussions afterward. (Y/N) fished for the key of her parents’ weapons cabinet, arming herself with whatever she’d need to take down whoever stood in her way. Even if she got hurt, she would not go down without a fight. The Argents had gone long enough without paying for the things they had done, and it was about time they did.
As she strapped a rifle to her back, she heard a stumble on the floor above. Whoever had been sent to her home had caught the short stick that day. Red anger flowed through her veins as she walked silently up the basement stairs, a handgun tight in her grasp and her loyal dog slowly behind. Nearing the door, she removed the safety from the gun and braced herself.
“Woah, woah!” Isaac yelled as she burst through the door, a gun deadest on him. “It’s just me, (Y/N).”
(Y/N) ran toward the boy without a second thought and wrapped her arms around him tightly.  He was there, unharmed, and staring at her like she had gone crazy. “Where were you?” she cried, tears burning her eyes and making their way down her cheeks. “Why didn’t you answer my calls?”
“My phone died,” he said, holding her tighter still. “What did you think happened? Where are you going with al this ammo.”
“You weren’t at school or answering the phone, and I thought my family… I didn’t know.”
“Were you about to light up your family to find me, (Y/N)?” he chuckled, cradling her face in his hands and wiping away her tears with his thumbs. “Are you crazy?”
“Maybe,” she laughed hoarsely. “I didn’t really have a plan in mind. I just couldn’t let them get away with hurting you.”
“Well, I can safely say, stand down, soldier,” he teased. “My phone died, and I was meeting with Erica and Boyd. I would have left you a note, but you left school before I did.”
“Yeah, well, I needed to cool off,” she sighed, taking off the gun she was wearing and dropping the rest of her weapons on the hallway table. “These past few weeks… I just needed a break, and Stiles happened to be there.”
“So, what? He’s your new best friend?” Isaac grumbled as he slouched onto the sofa. “What if something had happened while you were with him? At least at school, you’re kinda protected, but out there? Who knows?”
“You do know I can protect myself, right?” (Y/N) chuckled as she sat next to him. “I may not have supernatural strength or healing, or even claws, but guns and knives can also do the trick.”
“Those healing scratches on your face would beg to differ.”
“I’d like to see any of you guys pull your weight in a fight without all those abilities,” the girl teased. “I, at least, can’t be paralyzed by the Kanima. So, I think I can protect myself good enough.”
“Whatever,” he mumbled under his breath, crossing his arms over his chest and furrowing his brow in annoyance.
But she knew Stiles and her recklessness weren’t exactly what he was worried about. Behind his blue eyes, she could see something else was setting a dark cloud over him. There was worry that hung heavy on his shoulders and concerns that stole his sleep at night. Too many questions ran through the boy’s mind, and no one seemed to have given him the right one.
“Come on,” she said, bumping her shoulder against his. “Tell me what’s really going on.”
Isaac sighed deeply, resting his head on her lap like he had started to do when he needed comfort. “Boyd and Erica are leaving,” he responded. “With everything that’s going on, I don’t blame them. Not having anyone while we’re being chased to our deaths… it’s a suicide mission. Leaving might just be the only choice.”
“Is that what you think? That you’re alone in this?’
“(Y/N), you know I can’t stay here forever,” Isaac reminded her. “We’re lucky I haven’t been caught so far, but your parents are gonna notice sooner or later. I don’t want to put you in a position where you’d have to go against them like you were planning on doing today.”
“Why not, Isaac? I can talk to my dad, and we can find a way to keep you safe. Hell, we could keep Erica and Boyd safe, too. With Allison looking for you guys, it’s not smart to be out in the open by yourselves. I’m sure that with his help…”
“I can’t keep putting you in this position,” he exclaimed. As he sat up, (Y/N)noticed the tears that reddened his eyes. She could tell he was terrified. He had no home, no pack, and an alpha that seemed more lost than he was. The only thing he was sure of was that staying with his best friend made him a sitting duck and a perfect target for her family. “You know, there was a time when I thought my biggest problem would be my father. I never thought that the one thing that got me away from him was the thing that put me in the most danger. “You’ve done more than you can imagine, (Y/N),” he smiled sadly. “But I can’t keep putting you in danger like this. The best thing I can do for all of us is go.”
(Y/N) was quick to wrap the boy in a hug as matching tears fell from her eyes. “I can’t lose you, Isaac,” she said. “We’ll figure this out. Just… you can’t go.”
“There’s nothing else I can do,” he replied softly. “Not that I can think of anyway.”
“Please stay,” she mumbled against his chest. Her voice came out weak and exhausted as she was no longer able to be strong. It had taken (Y/N) so long to find someone she could confidently call her friend finally, and in a matter of months, she was going to lose him. She felt as though the universe was telling her that she wasn’t made for relationships. “I need you, Isaac.”
The pair stayed in each other’s arms as they calmed, unsure what direction they’d be taking next. Isaac hadn’t had someone care about him as strongly as (Y/N) did in a long time. He had forgotten love and care could come from a soft touch and not the hard slap of a punishment. She had reminded him that life wasn’t that scary when there was someone by your side, especially someone that was willing to go against her family in order to keep him safe. The last thing Isaac wanted was to lose her—much less leave her with her while danger still lurked through every corner—but staying only made things worse for her. He knew, no matter how hard, the best decision was to go.
“I’ll talk to Scott tomorrow,” he whispered instead. “Maybe he’ll have an idea of what I could do.”
“Alright,” she sighed against him. “Just be careful, okay? I don’t know what’s going on with him and Gerard, but he seems to always want to do the right thing.”
“I will,” he promised. “But why don’t we go to sleep now? I have a feeling tomorrow is gonna be a very long day.”
Isaac couldn’t seem to catch sleep at all. He watched as (Y/N) tossed and turned next to him, her own nightmares keeping her stuck in dreamland while his kept him wide-eyed.
Before her, he didn’t care to stay in Beacon Hills—hell, he didn’t care if he lived or died. After his brother died and his father’s temper took a turn for the worse, there wasn’t much that tied him to the town. He wasn’t particularly good at school; without his supernatural strength and speed, he wasn’t that good at sports either. Now, his father was dead as well, and he had no home to call his own. Isaac was the perfect candidate for a runaway. Even if he was gone, the town would continue on as if nothing had happened.
Night turned to morning as Isaac tried to succumb to his tiredness, time somehow speeding when all he wanted was for it to stop. (Y/N) was still dead asleep, her arm wrapped around Brody as they both snored softly. If there was anyone that cared about what happened to him, it was her. And she was the only person in the town he truly wanted to protect.
Before she could wake, the boy slipped a t-shirt over his sweatshirt and jumped out the window with his backpack on his back. He still wasn’t sure what he was going to do, but if he decided to leave, a clean break was the best way to do it. Isaac knew if he told (Y/N) he was possibly leaving, she’d find a way to make him stay. Or, even worse, try to go with him. He had to make a choice by that night, even if it hurt.
He knew Scott would be in his usual shift at the vet’s office, and it was a good time as any to pick at his brain about the situation. The door was unlocked when he got there, and he let himself in, flinching as the dogs quickly started barking the second he was inside.
When Deaton and Scott walked around the corner, he was sure they would throw him out. He hadn’t proven to be a good person, much less an ally, and he could understand if they wanted him gone. Instead, the doctor welcomed him warmly, allowing him to join them in the exam room, where the foulest odor reached his nose.
Laying on the stainless-steel table was a small white dog, weakened by whatever sickened it and the very source of the smell. The poor animal whimpered as Deaton injected something into it, and try as he might, Isaac couldn’t help but grimace at the odor. “Why does it smell like that?”
The colleagues looked at each other with knowing smiles before Deaton said, “Scott said almost the same thing to me a few months ago. One day, he could somehow tell the difference between which animals were getting better and which… were not.”
“He’s not getting better, is he?” Isaac questioned, a sudden wave of sadness rushing through him as the doctor confirmed his suspicions. “Like cancer.”
Sickness had a very distinct smell, Isaac learned. It was bitter and musty, almost like smelling a batch of fruit that had been left to ferment for months. The scent gripped his nose, painting the walls of his nostrils with a sample of what came next. Death. And all he wanted to do was to save the poor mutt from it.
“I know you’re well aware of what your new abilities can do for you,” Deaton said after calling the boy closer. “Improved strength, speed, and healing. You ever wonder what it could do for others?”
The vet guided Isaac’s hand onto the dog, pressing it firmly against his skin. Suddenly, black rushed through his veins, crackling under the pressure of whatever was filling his body. “What did I do?” he asked in surprise, feeling as the ooze sank into him.
“You took some of his pain away,” Scott smiled. It was an overwhelming sensation for him. Even if it had been only a little, like Deaton said, it had done a lot for the small pup. Tears welled in the corners of his eyes, and he wanted nothing more than to be able to take more. “It’s okay. First time he showed me, I cried, too.”
But they were tears of joy. Tears of accomplishment. Derek had only been teaching the pack how to be defensive, how to protect themselves and people around them from whatever dangers lurked in the shadows. Yet, there was a world of knowledge waiting for him, and Derek didn’t seem to want to show it to him. At least not while the Kanima was around.
Deaton left then to place the dog back in his kennel, and Isaac found it to be the perfect time to talk to Scott. “They’re leaving tonight,” he said as Scott cleaned. “After the game.”
“So, why are you telling me?”
“I’m not telling you. I’m asking you,” Isaac responded. “I’m asking for your advice.”
“From me?” Scott asked, dumbfounded. “Why?”
“Because I trust you, and so does (Y/N),” he admitted. “She said you always seem to want to do the right thing, and I agree with her.”
“I usually have no idea what I’m doing,” Scott shrugged. “Actually, I never have an idea of what I’m doing.”
“Well, do you want to let me know what you’re doing now?”
“I’m not going anywhere if that’s what you mean. I have too many people here who need me.”
And those were the words that struck the deepest chord in Isaac. “I guess that makes me lucky ‘cause…” he chuckled sadly. “‘Cause I only have one person, and I’m doing her more harm than good by staying.”
As he stood to leave, Scott stopped him. “Are you gonna go with them?”
“Yeah,” was all he could think to answer. “Yeah, I think I will. Good luck with the game, though.”
“Well, thanks, but I’m not going either. Can’t think about playing some meaningless game right now.”
“You weren’t at practice last week, were you?” Isaac questioned. “And you didn’t hear? Jackson was there as if nothing had happened.”
“That means… the game tonight?”
“Yeah. He’s playing,” he said. “I thought someone would have told you by now.”
“Yeah, no. N-no one did,” he stammered. “You’re sure about this?”
“Mhm, it was one of the last practices I went to before (Y/N) told me Allison had grown the manhunt. It stopped being safe for me to be there. I’ve been hiding out at her place ever since.”
“Is that why you think you’re putting her in danger? Because she cares about you?”
“It’s not what I think, Scott,” he sighed. “It’s what I know. I mean, you have to know what it’s like with Allison and everything. (Y/N) was ready to burst into her family’s house with guns because she thought they had taken me.”
“I don’t know what it’s like,” he answered meekly.
“What do you mean?”
“Allison, as much as she says she loves me, was quick to turn on me when she was lied to about her mom’s death. She’s never believed in us as strongly as (Y/N) has,” Scott admitted. “If there’s anyone you should stay for, it’s her.”
Scott’s words hung heavy in Isaac’s mind as he walked through town, not really sure where to go. Erica and Boyd were more than likely either at Derek’s old family home or already long gone. He couldn’t go to Derek, not when he had something—someone—more important. Being cared for may have been something Isaac had forgotten, but there was someone making sure he remembered it.
He waited until he was sure he wouldn’t be caught before jumping through the window he had left through some hours before, expecting to find the room empty. Instead, he found a frantic (Y/N), sending her phone flying in his direction and tears falling down her cheeks.
“Where the hell have you been?” she exclaimed, her words hoarse from the crying. “I’ve been calling you for hours!”
“Sorry,” he shrugged. “I turned off my phone.”
“I thought you were gone, Isaac,” she cried. “I thought you had taken your things and were never coming back.”
“To be honest, I thought I was,” he confessed weakly. “I really thought the best thing would be if I just left without a trace—that it’d be safer for you in the long run.”
“Are you crazy? I was worried sick that something had happened to you. If Allison…”
“None of that happened, okay?” Isaac said as he crossed the room toward her. He placed one hand on her arm and another on her cheek, stopping her body from shaking. “And I’ve decided to stay. I’m gonna fight this to the last consequence.”
(Y/N) looked up at him with teary eyes, relief finally washing over her as she confirmed that Isaac was there, that he was real. “You’re not alone, Isaac,” she said. “Neither are Erica nor Boyd. You just have to let people help. I know it’s a lot, and it’s scary, but you’re not alone.”
“I know that,” the boy smiled. “I know I have you on my side and that the best thing we can do is protect each other. I’m sorry it took me so long to understand that.”
“I thought you were gone for real this time,” (Y/N) confessed after a moment of silence. “I didn’t know what to do. I even almost called Derek.”
“He wouldn’t have done anything,” Isaac sighed. “He made himself clear. Once we left, we were on our own. After everything he’s told us, I don’t know what he’s thinking.”
“I think he’s just scared. Facing all of this while taking care of you guys cannot be an easy task,” she said. “I think he wants to protect everyone but doesn’t know how to. Just because he looks older doesn’t mean he is—he’s learning as he goes, just like us.”
Isaac chuckled softly as a warm smile tugged the corners of his mouth. “How can you still be so kind to him after he broke your heart?” he asked. “You should be cursing him out, not seeing his side of things.”
“I’d like to think he had a reason for what he did,” she responded, trying her best to hide her real hurt. “I’d like to think maybe one day things will get better.”
“You’re too kind for your own good,” he said. “You’re something else, (Y/N) Argent.
And for a second, for a split second, his eyes fluttered to her lips. His heart beat loudly against his chest and he felt the sudden urge to know what the pink of her skin tasted like. He wondered if she’d gasp at the suddenness. If perhaps she’d push him away or maybe even kiss him back. All he had to do was move a couple of inches toward her and he could lay his questions to rest.
“You should get ready for the game then,” (Y/N) said, breaking him out of thought as she jumped away from him, pulling out his jersey from her dresser. “If anything is gonna go down, it’s gonna start there. I can feel it.”
“Won’t your family know you’re there as a traitor? I mean, it’s not like you’ve been very active in their work.”
“They won’t kill me in public,” she said. “And if they try, they’ll have one hell of a fight coming for them.”

Thank You, For Being You
Isaac Lahey x Fem! Reader Series
Party Guessed
Omega Part 1 | Omega Part 2 | Shape Shifted | Ice Pick | Abomination | Venomous | Frenemy | Restraint | Raving | Fury
Prompt: Scott is hurt, Jackson isn't easy to stop, Lydia's birthday is coming up. And to top it all off, the full moon is tonight.
a/n: I read through this once and edited it so I hope I got all the mistakes

It took a while but Isaac had finally calmed you down, Erica had left and even though Stiles wanted to stay because he was worried about you, Isaac had convinced him that he would take care of you.
"Are you sure?"
By now you had yourself tucked into Isaac as Stiles talked to you. You nodded wiping your tears away, "Yeah, Stiles, I'm fine. You should go home and rest. I need to find Scott and then I will too." He hesitated again before slowly nodding, you didn't see it but Isaac and Stiles had shared a knowing glance like some kind of exchange that just said 'make sure she's safe'.
Stiles had finally left and it was just you two. You guys sat in silence and he just caressed your hair. Even though no words were being exchanged between you, it wasn't awkward. It was comfortable. Even with all the dried tears on your face and the sniffles, it felt right to be there with him.
"How you doing, baby?"
You were startled by the nickname, you had heard him call you that while you were whaling but you hadn't thought he would keep calling you that. "What happened to 'your favorite girl'?" Your voice was so hoarse and it hurt to talk but you couldn't help but joke.
He chuckled at your question, "You can still be my favorite girl and be called baby."
You giggled, "I know, just teasing."
He smiled softly at you, you were still in his arms curled together on the floor. His hand was on your cheek, his thumb brushing your cheekbone, "Nice to see you back to yourself, if you're ready we can walk to the station, Derek will probably take Scott there after." You tilted your head up, nodding lightly, "Yeah, I'm ready."
Sure enough when Isaac and you reached the Hale pack hide out both Derek and Scott were there.
"Scott! Are you okay?" You crashed into the boy's back, who let out a gasp from the impact. He turned around and his eyes widened, "Have you been crying, what's wrong?"
"She was worried about you," Isaac had caught up with you, standing behind you two. "But I'm okay now, you're okay so everything is good," you hugged the boy once more. When you pulled away, you noticed Derek staring off into space, "You guys were having a serious moment, weren't you?" Scott tilted his as if he wanted to say no but in reality it was a yes.
"We can't save Jackson." Your head snapped to Isaac and then back to Scott, "I'm sorry what?"
"We can't seem to kill him either," Derek mumbled. "I've seen a lot of things Scott. I've never seen anything like this. Every full moon is just gonna make him stronger."
"Then how do we stop him?"
The Alpha shrugged, "I don't know."
"Maybe you should just let the Argents handle it then," you chimed in sitting on a chair.
"I'm the one who turned him, it's my fault."
"Yeah but you didn't turn him into this," Scott argued, "This happened because of something in his past, right?"
"That's a legend in a book. It's not that simple." You crossed your arms in annoyance, "What do you mean?"
"What are you not telling us," Scott asked at the same time as you.
"Why do you think I'm always keeping something from you?"
"Because you always ARE keeping something from us!" The both of your voices had resonated, it had even startled Isaac. "Well, maybe I do it to protect you."
"Doesn't being part of your pack mean no more secrets," Scott asked quietly.
"Go home, Scott. Take (Y/N) too. Sleep. Heal. Make sure your friends are safe. Cause the full moon is coming and with the way things are going, I got a feeling it's gonna be a rough one."
~
It was officially spring break and that meant Lydia's birthday was almost here. Much to your surprise, there was a box on your porch from the red haired girl. She had sent you a dress to wear to her party tonight. You thought it was sweet considering you two weren't really friends. You were planning on going to her party so the gesture made some sense, unfortunately, you would have to leave early due to the full moon.
Derek had asked you to find something for the Betas to get through their first full moon, he had mentioned a spell and while you couldn't find anything like that you were able to find a type of potion to deprive them of their senses and calm their minds.
This morning you had decided you should probably pay the newly formed pack a visit, especially since you needed to let Derek know what you found and your plan. Which is why as soon as you got up and got dress you were on your way to the abandoned station.
You walked down just in time to here the pack talking once more, you did always seem to do that. "It's a spiral. Reminds us that we can all rise to one or fall to another. Betas can become Alphas, but Alphas can also fall to Betas or even Omegas," Derek explained.
"Like Scott?" Isaac stood looking at Derek.
"Scott's with us."
"Really? Then where is he now?" Derek looked at the Beta, "He's looking for Jackson. Don't worry, he's not gonna have it easy tonight either. None of us will. There's a price you pay for this kind of power." Derek picked up the chains, which you had recognized to be the same ones you had seen before, "You get the ability to heal. But tonight you're gonna want to kill anything you can find."
You had walked further into the room as Erica joked, "Good thing I had my period last week, then?"
You saw Derek pull out another chain, this one had a large circle and spikes on it, "Well this one's for you." You cleared your throat to let your presence be known and the whole pack turned towards you. Derek had nodded at you, like a peace offering on some kind, "Did you find it?"
You pointed at him, "The spell, no. But I did find this potion type thing that's able to deprive someone of their senses for purposes like this.
Derek looked relieved, "Thank you, do you have it?" You shook your head, "No, it takes a little bit of time to prepare and I just found it the other day. Deaton is helping me though to make sure it's perfect, should be ready tonight."
"Okay, thank you, bring Scott tonight, I might need some help." You hissed slightly, "Oh, yeah that might be a problem."
"What do you mean?"
You sat on a crate nearby as you began to explain, "Well you see, Lydia's birthday is tonight and Allison and Stiles are making us go. So Scott's gonna probably be busy with that and the whole finding Jackson thing." Derek had given you a deadpanned look, unimpressed by your answer. You raised your hands in defense, "Hey, don't look at me like that, they're making me. Lydia's even pressuring me," you leaned forward like you were gossiping to a group of best friends, "She sent me a dress and it was on my front porch this morning. I mean now I have to go, right?"
You scanned the room and almost everybody in the room was amused by your words, except for of course Derek. You sighed, "Don't worry, I'll be here to drop off the potion stuff tonight, I'm not gonna stay there for very long." Derek finally excepting defeat and just nodded walking away.
Erica and Boyd starting to converse from across the room and Isaac made his way to you slowly. You stood quickly, trying to play it off as best as you could. He made you nervous, especially now that you could let your guard down around him.
"You're going to a party?" You nodded slowly, confused since you had just finished talking about it, but when you looked up into his eyes, you saw it.
Jealousy.
"And Stiles and Scott are going too, right?" You nodded once more this time slightly more amused. "Yes, they are even if they weren't going you don't need to worry, I'm not gonna go around dancing with guys." His eyes widened as he realized he had been caught. You grabbed his hands softly pulling him a little closer and whispered, "When you get this whole full moon thing down, there will be nothing stopping you from being my plus one to every party."
Your words had gotten him flustered, you could see it in his eyes and in the way his cheeks glowed a little redder. It was like the old days, with the soft shy Isaac you knew before, "Walk me out?" He nodded his eyes just focused on you like a trance.
~
You had gotten ready for Lydia's party, of course wearing the dress she had given you, and you were at the clinic before you met up with Scott and Stiles.
"So, you added a little bit of rosemary to the water and then what," you asked watching as Deaton crushed the rosemary and threw it in the bowl. "Evening primrose, it's native to America and the oil extracted has been know to be quite anti-inflammatory. When combine with a Nymph's magical energy it was discovered to be able to affect supernatural species however they choose depending on the concoction," he laid whole petals into the water.
He turned and opening a cabinet, pulling out a Bunsen burner and rigging the small bowl above it. He looked at you and pointed to the bowl, "Rosemary is known to heighten concentration and memory, it will allow them to remember their human side more. Normally you would want to let the flowers ferment in the water for a week to allow the water to naturally be flavored."
You looked at him as he turned on the flame, then water instantly starting to steam, "But since we don't have time for that, heating the water will just have to do, it won't be as effective but with Derek and you there I'm sure it'll do the job." He gave you a smile before sliding your book over to you.
"You mean with Derek there, I'm still useless in a fight," you muttered, you felt a hand on your shoulder and you saw Deaton open the book. "Not anymore, I'm going to help you learn a basic offensive spell that uses a similar technique to your barriers. Since you've become more familiar with that and your natural talent, it should pretty easy for you to catch on." Your hand gripped the table, finally, you wouldn't be useless. You could actually hold your own, protect your friends.
"Okay, what do I do?"
He guided you away from the table and into the open space, he stood next to you. "For the most basic offensive technique you keep your hands here," he showed you, his elbows bent and his palms facing out, "You then will push out like your pushing someone away from you."
You copied the movement that you were very well acquainted with, considering you were constantly pushing Stiles around. "This doesn't seem that hard," you commented.
"The movement no, the build-up and timing will be."
You gave the man a confused glance, "What do you mean?"
"You essentially have to build up, in simple terms, your magic power to use this. What you're doing is using the amount of power you allow to either push an opponent back or even strike them. If you don't put enough magic pressure into, you could very well die to an enemy."
Your lips pursed, "Ah, there's the catch, it's never gonna be easy is it?" He chuckled, "No, unfortunately for you, your powers are all about balance. It's all tedious strategy and technique. Now try for real, let your power run through your veins and into your palms," he gestured into the open area.
You took a deep breath and closed your eyes, trying to feel every ounce of the power you spent so long keeping down. It felt like a weight had been lifted and you felts tingles in your hands. You took the stance and pushed with as much force... nothing.
You tried again.
Nothing.
"Why can't I get it," you groaned.
"Relax, you have time. When you build a barrier what do you do?" You huffed at his question, crossing your arms, "Well, I imagine the energy flowing around whatever it is, that seems to work best." He nodded and pointing, "You see, just as I had said to Stiles, the imagination is a wonderous thing, do that and try again."
Shaking your limbs out to loosen up, you took another breath. A few nervous hops later and you brought yourself into the stance once more. You went through the motions, this time even with your eyes opened, you imagine the same iridescent glow you're used to. You pushed it out and this time...
You felt a blast whish passed you, blowing your hair. Everything on the shelves rumbled and shook, clattering around. "Yes! I did it!"
"And just in time too, the water is ready. All we need is just a spark of your power and it'll be good to go." He had bottled the waters into small vials and raised them up to you. Maybe it was the happiness of everything but without even thinking you raised your hand and instantly the vials shined your usual iridescence. When you realized what you did, your eyes widened, "It seems you're becoming more comfortable with who you are," Deaton smiled, "Now, I believe you have a party to go to."
~
"Hey! Allison! Wait up!"
The dark haired girl turned around to see you running, well trying to at least, to her. You were in heels and while you didn't have problems with walking, anything faster was immediately not as easy. "Damn it! Why did she send me a dress," you complained adjusting the fabric, "Normally I wouldn't say anything but tonight is not the night for me to be wearing something even slightly inconvenient."
She laughed at you giving you her arm, which you gratefully took, "You're still helping Derek tonight?" You nodded patting your little purse which held the vials, "Yep, sadly Derek created a problem that he needs others to help fix." Allison nodded along, "Yeah it feels like this whole semester has been about Derek and his pack."
You scoffed, "Tell me about it. We also never get to hang out anymore either so it makes it that much more impossible to not focus on the Derek problem." Allison smiled at you, you two really hadn't been that close recently. When she first came to Beacon Hills, you had easily befriended her (mainly for Scott you will admit) and even though she had hung out with Lydia and Jackson, it never deterred you from the girl. She was truly your closest girl friend if you were being frank.
"Well I'm glad you're here, I've missed being able to hang out," she said tugging you further up the driveway. You reached Lydia's front door where she had greeted you both with a smile, a smile that made you slightly uneasy. You chalked it up to the fact that you just weren't close with the girl and went back to scanning the room for Jackson, and your best friends.
"I'm gonna do a walk of the house, see if he's wandering about," Allison said pointed in the distance. She started walking off when you nodded, "I'm gonna look for the boys, be careful."
"You too."
She was now gone and you once more let your eyes wander the backyard, this time you had actually seen the two boys you were looking for. They had just made they're way outside when you reached them, "Hey."
They acknowledged you, "Have you seen Allison?" You nodded at Scott, "Yeah, we came in together." Scott went to ask you another question but he was quickly shut down by the clicking of heels, you turned to see Allison walking back up to you, "Uh, Jackson's not here."
"Yeah, no one's here," Stiles observed the backyard and he was right, it was eerily quiet. "Maybe it's just early," Scott suggested.
"Or maybe nobody's coming because Lydia's turned into the town wack job," Stiles expressed. You kissed your teeth and gestured to the boy in agreement, your eyebrows raised. "Well, we have to do something, because we've completely ignored her for the past two weeks," Allison said.
"She's completely ignored Stiles for the past ten years," Scott argued and shrugged. Stiles tried to defend himself, "I prefer to think of it as me not having been on her radar." You rolled your eyes, "Yeah, whatever helps you sleep at night."
Scott made an unconvinced look, "We don't owe her a party."
"What about the chance to get back to normal?" The question shocked Scott, "Normal?"
"She wouldn't be the town wack job if it wasn't for us," Allison countered. You held up your hand, "Now hold on. First, just want to clarify, not against throwing her a party, it's her birthday. But it's not our fault she's gone coocoo for Coco Puffs, alright? That was all on Peter. Peter is the reason any of us are even in this mess to begin with, so she can blame him like the rest of us."
There was a silence after you made your point and you broke it once more, "Now that I've made my point let's throw her a good party," you said offering Allison your support.
"I guess I could use my co-captain status to get the lacrosse team here," Scott had relented. Stiles nodded as well, "Yeah, I also know some people who can get this thing going. Like really going." He dug into his pocket for his phone and Allison tilted her head, "Who?"
"I met them the other night. Let's just say they know how to party."
You chuckled catching on to who he was referring to, "Well then I'm sure this party is going to be in good hands. Chop, chop, people, let's go."
Soon enough Stiles' and Scott's called guests had made it and now the party was much more lively, you were pretty sure you could slip out now without Lydia noticing. You were standing with Stiles and Scott, watching as Allison stood across the pool with Lydia.
"Are you gonna apologize to Allison or what," Stiles asked. Scott's head snapped up to look at the boy, "Why should I apologize?"
"Because you're the guy. It's what we do," Stiles pointed out. You snorted at his answer and it caught both your best friend's attentions, "More like, you've made her feel ignored for the past couple of weeks."
"But I didn't do anything," Scott said cluelessly, you shook your head with a slight roll of your eyes as Stiles continues, "Well then you should definitely apologize. See, anytime a guy thinks he hasn't done anything wrong it means he's definitely done something wrong." You nodded this time, "Now, that, is true."
Scott grumbled, "I'm not apologizing." You nudged the boy slightly, "Is that the full moon talking, buddy." Scott looked at you and agreed, "Probably."
"Why do you guys care, anyway."
"Because, Scott, something's gotta go right here," Stiles emphasized, "I mean, we're getting our asses royally kicked, if you haven't noticed. People are dying. I got my dad fired. You're gonna be held back in school. This one is in love with a nut job," he gestured, "And so am I. If on top of all that, I gotta watch you lose Allison to a stalker like Matt, I'm gonna stab myself in the face."
"Hey, I'm not in love with Isaac," you exclaimed. Stiles scoffed, "Yeah, okay sure, I never said Isaac, Mrs. Denial." You went to argue again but was cut off by Scott standing, "You know what, you won't need to stab yourself in the face because I'm gonna do it for y-."
"Don't stab yourself in the face."
Both you and Stiles paused, looking at the Omega, "Why not?" Scott didn't look at Stiles, "Because Jackson's here." You three looked across the pool and there he was just staring at you guys. You blew out a stream of stressed air, "Alright, that's my cue to leave. You guys got this?" Both nodded wordlessly, keeping their eyes on Jackson.
~
Leaving the party was pretty easy actually, you got out like the Flash and now you had to deal with your anxiety of being in abandoned train car with three crazed out Betas. You had rushed into the car to see Erica and Boyd chained up in the back huffing from rage and Isaac and Derek in the front.
"Okay, so I see I might have been a little late," you said awkwardly.
Derek gave a pointed look, "Yeah, no kidding." Isaac however looked much more relaxed than before, still you could see he was definitely struggling. That's when you heard the two Betas in the back to cry and scream. The noise made you wince as you crouched down next to Derek and in front of Isaac.
"How do you not feel this," Isaac gritted his teeth.
"I feel every second of it," Derek had basically snarled. That didn't stop Isaac from shooting back, "Then how do you control it?"
"Find an anchor. Something meaningful. Bind yourself to it to keep the human side in control," Derek instructed tightening the chains, he jutted his chin out to other set on Isaac's other side and you got the message. You took the other chain and began to tighten it as best as you could.
"What is it for you?"
Derek took a pause before answering the Beta, "Anger. But it doesn't have to be that for everybody."
"You mean Scott?" You nodded slowly and whispered gently, "Scott's is Allison, even just the thought of her is able to calm him down." Derek indicated that you were right, "Alright, that should do it," he declared.
You opened your little shoulder clutch and grabbed the three vials, "Here, if you can get these two to take it now, it should help calm them down." You handed him two bottle and he nodded starting to get up but then he was interrupted by a loud break. Isaac had broken the seat holding his chain, he gave you both a knowing look.
"Go, get out of here," Derek urged you and before you panicked even more you opened the third vial you still had, "Take care of those two, I'll be okay." He didn't even respond as he was already moving to the back. You looked at Isaac who had sweat dripping from his forehead, "You need to go, it's not safe." You shook your head sitting on the chair, "Do you trust me?"
Isaac didn't even hesitate before agreeing, "Okay then I need you to drink this, okay?" He nodded and tilted his head back slightly and you poured it into his mouth, resting your hand in his hair to support his head.
"It might take a moment but it should kick in soon," you didn't get to see his reply because Derek had rushed towards you, grabbing your forearm and dragging you out of the train car. You could hear all their screams as Derek left a voicemail for Scott, "Hey Scott, could you call me back, I think I'm gonna need some help." Cue the violent and guttural growls and screams from Derek's pack.
"I thought you said it would help them?"
"It will but it's gonna take some time for it to kick in, it wasn't that strong since I couldn't properly prepare it."
Derek nodded, "Definitely gonna need some help." He unleashed his claws and walked inside the car. You followed closely and quietly behind, Derek had side stepped to stay out of Isaac's slash. You stayed in front, out of the away but also because your body ran cold, the sight of a blood thirsty Isaac terrified you.
Erica and Boyd had broken free and started advancing towards Derek. You had gotten distracted and hadn't even realized that Isaac also broke free until you heard the crunch of metal and the smash of glass. You lifted your hands up protecting your face from the flying shards, "Isaac!" He had already jumped out and you couldn't afford to take care of him yourself, not when Boyd and Erica were currently slashing at Derek, who was on the ground.
You had a clear shot to hit at least Boyd, maybe if you could get him off Derek, the Alpha would be able to fight off Erica himself. You focused your energy trying to make sure your blast was gonna be power and then when you were ready you pushed it out, watching as the glowing blast knocked Boyd off and made him forget about Derek. Only then did you realize that meant Boyd was now on you.
Derek had done exactly like you had thought and started to fight off Erica. You on the other hand were currently using small blasts to at least keep Boyd back. "Boyd, listen to me, I don't want to hurt you. Please, just calm down!" The Beta didn't listen, he snarled before raising his hand high to bring it down for a big slash. When he made a dash for you, you were prepared to feel something since you had no time to push him back.
But you never did.
Instead you heard another crash and felt someone shove passed you, you opened your eyes to see none other than Isaac holding Boyd down against the seat. He acknowledged Derek with a nod, letting him know he was in control. Things calm down once Derek had also knocked Boyd out and locked him and Erica back against the pole.
Isaac calmly sat in his old seat just staring forward, his eyes glowing. You sat next to the boy while Derek began to rechain him. "I think you'll be okay now," Derek started, "Looks like you found an anchor." You noticed in the corner of your eyes him direct his gaze at you but you paid no mind to it, only keeping your focus on the boy in chains.
"My father."
Your eyes widened. You didn't know what you were expecting as his answer but it certainly wasn't that. You saw the same confusion on Derek's face, "You father locked you in a freezer in the basement to punish you." He had said it as a statement but it sounded more like a question.
"He didn't use to."
Isaac set his hand down in his lap and Derek jangled the chains to confirm its security. "Go, take care of them, I got this," you said softly to the dark haired werewolf. He silently looked at you before walking away. You hesitated for just a moment and then you lightly rest your hand on top of Isaac's. "I'm glad you found an anchor, although I wasn't expecting it to be your dad." His head slowly rotating to you, "It's not."
You eyebrows scrunched and you tilted your head, "But you just said-."
"I lied."
Nodding slowly, you adjusted your position, sitting more comfortably, "Okay... then what's your anchor?"
"You."
"Me," you whispered, "but how-." He cut you off once more, "When I ran out, I heard your heartbeat pick up. You sounded so scared and I came back to myself instantly. I had to come back, to protect you, to make sure you were safe. Nothing else mattered." Your whole body dropped out of awe, you're sure you looked lovestruck by now. How do you not after hearing that?
"If it weren't for the audience back there and outside, I would totally kiss you right now."
The boy chuckled lightly, "Guess I have to wait until morning then."

Cosmic Chaos
Chapter 19
Tumblr media
BENNETT HOUSE 🏠
The ancient looking book sits on your bed untouched, grams given you saying it will help you discover about yourself but something about it doesn’t seem right like you can’t just open right now, you can but every time you try you feel like it’s not the right time, maybe you should just give it back to grams let her do the work but again the startled look…the fear in her eyes makes you hesitant, is what ever you’re really bad.
Your door opens and grams comes in with smile on her face “how are you doing my sweetheart?” She sits on your bed her eyes fall on the book. “You haven’t open it?”
“No. it doesn’t seem the right time” you sit up and position yourself laying your head in lap fingers tracing the book.
“Is that so?”
You nod looking up to her “and…. when I touch someone, I see something I can’t explain.”
She hums running her hands through your hair “tell me some”.
“Sometimes it’s their past, their memories I guess…….and I saw you…...I saw you dying” you whisper the last bit.
“You can see the past, present and future. Isn’t that amazing” she said with a smile.
You sit with frown “did you not hear grams; I saw you die”
“Everyone dies in the end, dear. And I’m sorry you had to see that” she takes your hands in hers. You turn away making her sigh. “If that’s my future you can’t do anything about it”
You turn to her with your jaw set in anger at her nonchalance in the matter of her life. “But your death doesn’t seem right. it was pointless. I felt it”
“I don’t fear dead”
“But you fear me. Why?” you quickly close your eyes in anger at the slip of your tongue.
The smile vanishes from her face and you curl yourself into you scotting away making grams heart clench “I don’t fear you; I know you could never hurt me or anyone who you love”
You look back at her sensing a but coming “then what is it?”
“My dear girl” she scoots over taking your hands in her “you don’t know what your capable of, and what you harness is something bigger than anything I ever known”
Your eyes held uncertainty “you’re afraid of what I’ll become. Am I not supposed not have this chaos in me”
She shakes her head “No. from what I’ve understand there is only few across the multiverse who can harness this power.”
“If you think, I don’t deserve it or capable of this power can we get rid of it?”
Grams see the fear in your eyes now mind going to dark places, you mind become ocean of wild waves, the thought of someone fear you for what you are is something she known.
She takes your face in her hands “don’t be scared, the power you harness choose you because it deemed you worthy. You can control it you already have. You never ever should be scared of yourself. You hear me”
You nod with teary eyes she smiles at you kissing your forehead and settle back in the bed.
“How do I do it?”
She thinks for a moment before standing up “get ready we are going somewhere”.
“Where?” she doesn’t give any answer hurry to get dressed. “What about my class?”
“Like you actually prefer going to class.” She raises her brow at you.
“Fair enough” shrugging you send quick texts to stiles and scott saying you won’t be coming and to derek to lay low.
You settle yourself in the passenger seat as grams starts to drive, she had asked you to take few things with the book which is seated in the back seat. You been driving for few hours yet you didn’t reach where you are going grams didn’t tell you where the both of you are going.
“Okey we are almost at the edge of the town. Where are we going?”
She hums “somewhere you can let yourself go without fearing anyone”
Your eyes widen “But I needed back home. My friends need me”
“And when they do you will be back. It will only take few hours” she comforted “beside I told bonnie to stay with her dad tonight”
“We won’t make it back evening?” your voice get high.
“Nope”
“So, how exactly we do that?”
She checks her phone a message pop up on her device “first I need to know what exactly you can do, to see what you can and can’t do”
Tumblr media
OUTSKRIT OF TOWEN
Once you’re out of town you both drive for a couple of hours before she stops at the front of the motel only few cars on the parking lot.  Grams get out the car and you follow her; she stops and turn to look at the other side “I didn’t know. you two would come”
Confusion settled in you and your eyes follow her direction, two guys stride towards you both. They both are tall, one of them is a little bit taller than the other. The tallest one had brown hair and light green eyes there is little bit of brown hue, puppy dog eyes with broad shoulders and slender body. The other had green eyes, muscular frame a cheeky grin on his face that decorated with light freckles with dark blonde hair.
“Well, I couldn’t just sit when the Bennett witch, asked to wanted take a case near” the short one said with smug smile on his face. He turns to you “hi sweetheart, dean Winchester” he put his hand forward you glance at grams she doesn’t seem to annoyed by them its like she knew that they would be here you shake your hands with him saying your name dean gives you wink.
The taller one glare at dean and an apologetic smile on his face “don’t mind him. I’m sam Winchester” you shake your hands with sam nodding.
You then turn to grams “can you please tell me what’s going on here”
“The Winchester brothers are hunters” your eyes widen “not the mindless one who kills every supernatural being. Don’t worry. I asked they have any hunting nearby”
You glance at the brothers and sam give you soft smile while dean give you smug one its adorable actually but you cannot say it out loud or express it.
“And we do, not one but two actually a wendigo few miles ahead and a vampire nest” dean said
You nod wondering what does this has do with you and remembering how stiles would have found this terrifying but also amazing.
“And where are here to assist them?”
Grams look at the brothers then you “I was planning to send you alone”
“What? you were sending me to die!”  your voice gets high dean and sam exchange looks of concern.
“You will not die, I wanted to see what you’re capable of how your magic works” grams said calmly “beside I will be there to if anything goes wrong”
“Is she not a witch?” dean asks
Gram sighs “I’m not exactly sure, she does harness chaos magic but there is something else”
Dean looks confused while sam seems intrigued looking at you “I didn’t think chaos magic exists” he said.
“I thought too, but here we are” grams said “which hut is near?”
A serious look comes over dean face “Wendigo but are you sure sending her alone is safe?”
“Boy her best friend is a newly turned werewolf and she already had encountered an alpha and if I’m correct two vampires” grams explain.
Dean close his mouth turning to you “I don’t know how I did it” you said quickly after seeing deans questioning glance.
“Wait grams, are you sure it’s good idea. I barely lived last time.” You lean towards her whispering “With them”
She nods “Yes. Do you not trust me?” and turns to the boys “and I’m guessing you boys won’t sit one this out” they nod agreeing. “Then this what we are going to do. She will do this alone and if only if she needs help you will intervene and I will be connected to you to see what you are exactly do when use your ability”
Everyone agrees and set out the first location. You wonder what is going on back home.

EARILER ON
While you were asleep on the other side stiles and scott along with derek just got away from the argents and police.
“What part of ‘laying low ‘don’t you understand?” scott yells while driving, they are almost out their reach.
“Yeah, be lucky it was us, if she is the one coming to save your ass. You’ll be hearing a lot” stiles add with scott agreeing with him silently. “She literally told you to stay low few hours ago”
“I almost had him!” derek hiss shifting in his seat
Stiles eagerly lean over “who the alpha?”
“Yes! He was right in front of me, and the freaking police showed up.” Derek grunt impatiently.
Stiles faced is offended on the behalf of his father “Whoa! They’re just doing their jobs- “he gets cut off by derek scoffing “Yeah, thanks to someone who decided to make the most wanted fugitive in the entire state!”
“Can we seriously get past that? I made a dumbass mistake. I get it” scott speaks, finally calming down after shaking of them.
Stiles sighs “all right. how did you find him?”
Derek stays silent for a moment making scott look at him in annoyance “We talked about this. You have to trust at least if you expect us to help you”
“Yeah. y/n, she would not like it if you keep secret from us” stiles said nonchalantly making derek look at with a done face.
“Look, last time I talked to my sister, she was close to figuring something out. She found two things. The first was a guy named Harris.”
 “Our chemistry teacher?”
“Why him?”
“I don't know yet.”
“What’s the second?”
“Some kind of symbol.” Derek shows it scott his eyes narrowing when he sees scotts face “What? You know what this is?
“I’ve seen it on a necklace. Allison's necklace.”
Stiles slumps in his seat “that just amazing.” He takes out his phone “I’m tell y/n about all this”
“NO” derek and scott yell together the three looks at each other
Stiles squint his eyes at them “I like to hear the reason why not”
“we will tell her. not now because one she might be sleeping and she will be pissed when she knows we were involved in freaking chase. “
Stiles nods and turns to derek who roll his eyes “same reasons”

THE WOODS
You taken in the sight of tall tress standing packed though its morning the cloudy day hides the sun, the plan is simple you along sam and dean would go in and you will take down the wendigo while grams who had done a spell that connected her with you. she said she needed peaceful atmosphere without anyone disturbing the spell. The identical charm you are wearing would act as medium that would foam the connection.
You three walk through the woods the brothers were a little behind you the tall one is carrying a bag.
“What do you guys wanna know?” You know their inching to ask you something, sam and dean look at each other.
“Well even though your grams said you are familiar too the supernatural. You seem pretty well put together, for someone who doesn’t know about her powers” dean said you stop walking and turns to them.
“Oh, I’m actually terrified to be honest, but grams believe in me and though I don’t fully understand what I am. My powers actually did save me when thought I was going die” you confess looking at your hands. “And grams trust you both to aid me and I trust you as well” you glance up sam give you reassuring smile as dean give you an understanding nod.
Sam walks up to you “do you know anything about wendigo?” he asks dean catch up and three of you resume walking.
“I know they know as the evil that devour human / mankind. That’s they were thousand-year-old was once human turned to cannibal in order to survive. They feed on human flesh and oh they use mimicry to make their prey vulnerable to lure them in and super strength and speed and that we can kill it using fire, silver bullet” you think missing how the brothers looks astounded as you speak.
Sam was hoping to share his wisdom on supernatural beings maybe even show you his dad’s journal to educate you more on the matter. Looking at dean, sam realizes his brother is equally shocked and impressed to be honest.
“And why you both look surprised?” they snap out of their trance and see you glance at them self-consciously.
Sam was quick to answer “how do you know all these? Did grams teach you”
“No. me and my friend stiles are part of online gaming community that battles mythical creature” you sheepishly say in front of the real hunters.
Dean open his mouth but nothing comes out. “Anything else I need to know?”
“Anasazi symbols. Its protection circle wendigo can’t cross over, just like simple salt circle” sam said gripping his bag tight. “Three people had gone missing few days ago around here, and only one made it alive barely he’s still in the hospital, and we did our research it’s likely the wendigo”
 “Do you think they’re alive?”
Dean nod to your question “a wendigo knows how to last long winters without food. It hibernates for years at a time. when its awake, it keeps its victim alive. It stores them so it can feed whenever it wants”
“Not to be skeptic, but what if its something else? What did the guy said about what happened” All though you trust their verdict as they are far more experienced than you there is chance that there might be something else behind the missing people.
“Well, why don’t you just hear what he said” dean said and turns to sam “Sammy”
Sam rolls his eyes at the name before bringing a bag to the front and take out a recoding device, you three circles together.
“Hi, we’re special agents investigating your friends missing case. Could please tell us what exactly happened” sam voice heard through the device first.
A moment pass “we were just having a good time. it’s been while since we get together, joe’s birthday was coming up and he loved camping so we planned it. everything was going great until….  it was the night. We heard someone call for our help. It spooked us bit but James one of my friends wasn’t scared. He’s not the type to get sacred easily…… we had already called the police. when he had gone to take a look it when it silent. He called out but no answer came then…. we heard some sound where James had gone and next thing, we hear is James’s voice calling out for help he sounded like he’s in pain. We both run towards him but Erik stopped suddenly I don’t know what he saw I was behind him. then he screamed at me to run…. I kept running when stopped Erik wasn’t behind me either I called for them…but something else came it slashed me across my chest, it looked like hum…. I don’t know…... just please find my friends”
“The guy was lucky police come quickly” dean said sam nodded.
“I wanted ask, while I was looking up here. I saw there is so many murders happening in your town” sam said looking at you with questioning glance.
You nod sighing “yeah. Well, there is alpha going around killing people and there are two vampires in town. One is killing people left and right. they are brothers as well. I don’t know if you know them the Salvatore brothers, Stefan and damon “
“The ripper?” sam voice come out loud, the name he had read so many times, you stands confused at the name.
“Sam quite we don’t want it come out to us” dean hiss
Sam eager eyes finds yours “you’re saying the ripper is in your town and you meet him?”
“Who is ...the ripper?”
Dean intervenes “sam we don’t have time for history class”
Sam eyes doesn’t move from you “which one’s the ripper stef- “You cut yourself off when you feel someone’s presence making you alert.
Sam and dean also realize that they’re being watched. Then a blood curdling scream echoes from the side.
Dean take out his flare gun along with sam, you glance at them “are you ready?” dean whispers to you.
You take a deep breath, trying to tap in your power the thing is watching you, analyzing from the darkness of the cloudy day and dense trees. Nodding you walk towards the sound the Winchester brothers just behind you.
The screams for help echo around the woods, but you suddenly halt a sudden feeling of hopelessness hit you raw and painful.
Eyes turning purple and you see the two missing guys tied up in cave. Without a thought you run towards the direction the brothers follow.
“The people are in there” you say looking down the slope that led to a abandon mine.

crawling out of the woodwork to share this idea that's been plaguing me for about a week now...
I just can't stop thinking about Theo walking into a room to see Y/N on their phone- and I mean that's not really strange in and of itself but the look of concentration is just astounding, so he gets curious obviously and just...
"what are you looking at?"
And Y/N without missing a beat, not even looking up, just answers: "oh i'm reading werewolf p*rn."
Because the thing about a/b/o fics is that they don't really apply to what we know of the werewolves in Teen Wolf, but there's just enough commonality that I think, even if you don't actually read a/b/o fics irl, it's easy enough to rationalise you stumbling across them in universe, and I feel like if you apply the context of Teen Wolf to finding a/b/o fics, it just gets a little funny?
Also, bonus if, say, 20-30 minutes later Scott or someone walks in just to find Y/N in the same position, but this time Theo's leaning over the back of their chair, reading over their shoulder with furrowed eyebrows and just...
Scott: "What are you two looking at?"
Theo and Y/N, deadpan: "Werewolf porn."

Heart of the Ocean 💙 | Teen Wolf Miniseries Part 1
Takes place in between 3A & 3B of Teen Wolf
Tumblr media
Teen Wolf Masterlist | part 2
Characters & Pairings: Hale/McCall Pack x supernatural!reader (female/platonic), eventual Peter Hale x reader (romantic), reader x male!oc ( past romance) & reader x supernatural!reader (platonic). Characters in this imagine: Scott McCall, Stiles Stilinski, Lydia Martin, Allison Argent, Isaac Lahey, Derek Hale, Peter Hale.
Content Warnings: light angst, profanity, references of historical event disaster, mentions of death, blood, murder | afab!reader (she/her pronouns) | wc: 3.1k
Requested 📨 yes/no (rules for requests)
Premise: Suspicious deaths were a common occurrence in Beacon Hills—especially after things seem to be actually looking good when a previous problem is fixed. Now Scott and the pack are having to investigate a string of murders happening that not only reek of supernatural, but linked to an renowned event they’ve learned in history class.
Note: I’m hyperfixating on Titanic as of late so I have a lot of ideas involving AU’s and retelling with various fandoms. I just did a TGM au with Bradley Bradshaw and currently have a Twilight one in the works so expect a lot of Titanic in my works when I’m not writing requests.
————————————
Riddles were a tricky little thing. And when used in a malevolent way where to find the answer to a solution one must crack the code, riddles can become a person’s worst enemy.
And the one laying on the table of Derek’s loft was becoming their enemy.
Murders, which was becoming a common occurrence lately in Beacon Hills, were happening where the people were nearly drained of their blood by cutting their throats and wrists before letting them hang upside down. Stiles' father was overwhelmed with stress. Not to mention he was having to come to terms with the reality his town was a beating heart for supernatural creatures. Like how his sons best friend since childhood was a fucking werewolf.
And while it was presumed a human serial killer was responsible for the murders, the pack had an inkling it was more sinister. Investigating on their own they found more suspicious reasons to believe it was supernatural.
Only problem, they had no clue who or what it was.
They were all gathered over the table—save for Peter who was nestled on the couch. Stiles was rubbing a thumb over his lip, becoming frustrated as he was usually on top of solving riddles. Lydia was beside him, deep in thought as she read over the paper silently.
“He just left this here?” Scott glanced at Derek, who was standing with his arms crossed on the opposite side of the table.
“Right outside the door. Like he wanted us to find it.”
“And you heard nothing?” Stiles’ question earned him a glare. “Super hearing and you didn’t hear someone stabbing a piece of paper into your front door?”
“If I did you think I would’ve let him leave the damn note?” Derek spoke harshly.
“Riddle.”
“—knowing all it is is a distraction so he can kill more people.”
“It’s not just a distraction,” Allison interrupted the two bickering, staring hard at the note. “It’s an order. He’s asking us to find someone.”
“Yeah,” Isaac scoffed, “who we have no idea is.”
“Read it again,” Scott sighed, running a hand through his hair. With a huff, Stiles took the paper in his hands, clearing his throat before reading aloud for all to hear.
Have you figured it out yet?
Were my clues not enough?
You’re thinking too hard now,
Let me show you it’s not so tough.
Our faces the same,
As they were the day we changed.
Only the eyes no longer its color,
A price for the exchange.
You’ll find it almost disheartening,
When you learn of what we do.
Our nature is uncanny,
But it’s not so far from you.
Find the one I’m looking for,
And I’ll stop the chaos and the pain.
Are you ready?
Here’s your hint.
Time is of the essence,
So you better make it quick.
Wearing the Heart of the Ocean,
She’s closer than it seems.
For I seek the one I turned,
Who was on the Ship of Dreams.
Silence fills the loft, everyone thinking hard of what it could mean. There were so many clues but so vague it was difficult to puzzle them together.
“Well we know it’s someone supernatural,” Isaac hummed, attempting to lighten the situation.
“Yeah we got that genius,” Peter muttered.
“And he’s looking for a woman,” Allison added, ignoring Peter’s sarcasm. “Someone he turned. And was on a ship?” It comes out more like a question, “that could mean a lot of things.”
“Could it be a werewolf?” Scott turned to Derek
The man shook his head, “I don’t think so.”
“But the thing about the eyes—.”
“Many shapeshifters' eyes are like ours. That doesn’t mean it’s a wolf. Plus he said they’re not wolves.”
“How do you know?”
Derek rolls his eyes as though it were obvious, “he wrote, ‘our nature is uncanny, but it’s not so far from you,’. If they were wolves he would’ve said so.”
“Maybe another Kanima?” Allison suggested, “the master looking for his puppet?”
Stiles cuts in, narrowing his eyes on the last verse, “Why would he bold the first and last line of the last clue—these ones,” he places the paper flat on the table. Lydia, the closest to him, leans in as his finger points to the verse. “Heart of the Ocean and the—.”
“Ship of Dreams,” she finishes, voice going low as realization hits her. All eyes turn to her, confusion in their gaze until the name leaves her lips. “Titanic.”
“What?” The question came from Scott, but all were thinking the same. There’s no way she was talking about the most famous shipwreck in history.
“Titanic,” Lydia repeated, this time more confidently. Her own finger came up to point where Stiles' finger had been. “They used to call it the Ship of Dreams.”
“Titanic?” Isaac’s tone was full of doubt. “You mean the ship that sank a century ago?” He couldn’t help but add, “And the movie Leonardo DiCaprio dies in.”
She rolls her eyes, “I don’t recall any other having the same name.”
“The anniversary is coming up,” Derek starts to say, deep in thought like it was all coming together. “It would make sense.”
“Wait—hold on,” Stiles lifts a dramatic hand. “We’re talking about THE Titanic—like Isaac said—that sank a hundred years ago. A hundred,” he repeats to show his point. “Anyone who is alive—even if they were a werewolf or shapeshifter or whatever the hell you want to call it,” he glances at each of them, “would pretty much be on their last breath of life. If this woman were a newborn baby at the time she’d be at least one hundred years old by now.”
In the debate none had noticed Peter moved from the couch to the window. The chuckle leaving his mouth caught their attention. Stiles makes a sound, “I’m sorry, do you wanna share with the class what you obviously know that we’re missing?”
“Our faces are the same,” he says the opening line of the second verse, only drawing confusion and annoyed looks from the others. “As they were the day we changed.” The man pauses, letting it sink in before continuing, “If the woman he’s looking for was on Titanic then she likely was an adult. Considering he turned her, probably by saving her from freezing to death or drowning, and she wears the same face she did the night she was turned…” Peter steps away from the window, now facing the group.
“She’s not aging. At all. Meaning…..she’s immortal.”
The silence following his confession is eerie, eyes flicking over each other to see if they were reacting the same. Immortal. Though the term was familiar it felt almost foreign. Never had they dealt with someone immortal. Unable to die and was walking the Earth acting as though they were human. Now Beacon Hills had two in its possession. They needed to work fast and the riddle only had pieces of the puzzles.
So who—or more like what, was immortal?
"What are you getting to?” Scott narrowed his eyes, Wanting a straightforward answer to what they were dealing with.
Peter clasps his hands behind his back, slowly inching forward,” It’s not shapeshifters you’re looking for.” He takes a step closer, “or a Kanima and its master.” Another step, “or a dark Druid.” Another step brings him right next to Derek, eyes flicking to the paper. “There are few creatures blessed with immortality—or cursed if you look at it another way. But most of them are born with it. Take Gods and fairies for example.”
“Oh my God—those exist?” Stiles feels his mind implode, “Are we about to fight Gods?”
“No,” annoyed at being interrupted Peter rolled his eyes. “I just said those are immortals that are born with their powers. And I don’t know if they exist, I’ve haven’t met one yet. Anyway, this one—.” His finger touches the riddle, “was turned. And likely the person who did was too.”
“So what is it then,” Scott was becoming impatient. And who could blame him really. For all they know it someone was already being drained of their blood at that very moment. “What’s the immortal that’s turned not born?”
“Come one,” he scoffs, like he couldn’t believe they hadn’t figured it out. “Ever wonder why the victims were drained of their blood?” The one question had everyone's face become colorless. “Has Stiles's father not caught on the wounds were made after they were dead?” Why their throat was slashed….but had two little puncture holes on either side?” Peter glances around at every person, catching the nervousness of their gaze as though they already knew what he was about to say but wished it wasn’t.
“The creatures you’re looking for…..are vampires.”
The rest of the night the pack was gathering as much information as they could about the passengers aboard Titanic—all 2,240 of them—while also trying to figure out any other clues within the riddle. They still couldn’t believe it was a vampire responsible for the murders. And that he was hunting someone he created who, still to their shock, was a passenger aboard Titanic.
And with 2,240 people on the ship during its ill fated maiden voyage…they were in for a long night.
“Okay so we know they’re vampires—our killer is the one who turned the woman he’s searching for into a vampire. She was on Titanic when it sank meaning—,” Stiles wrote furiously across the notepad, the riddle next right beside it. “He was on it too. Now we could narrow this down several ways. Either by searching through the passengers class or going through who survived because as Lydia pointed out,” the hand holding the pen points to the redhead, “RMS Carpathia recorded the names of the survivors before they reached New York.”
Either method was good, but there was a problem with the latter. As Allison pointed out, “but what if they never knew she was there? I mean having a newly turned vampire on a ship filled with people is a recipe for disaster.”
Derek nods, agreeing with her, “Her eyes would’ve made it obvious.”
“How so?” Asked Isaac.
Peter is the one to explain, “Vampires in our world are different from what you see on TV. They aren’t these pale, corpse-like, individuals who look like they belong in the morgue. They’re rather human-like if they’re equipped with a special glimmer that allows them to come off as mortal.”
“Glimmer?” Lydia raised a brow, finding the word a bit comical given the creature they were dealing with.
“We’ll get to that. But any vampire who’s newly turned will have red eyes—blood red eyes.”
“How fitting,” Stiles couldn’t help but groan. “So what, are you saying she’s likely wearing contacts to hide her eyes.”
“Possibly,” Peter hums with a shrug, “wouldn’t be surprised if she is. This day in age makes it easier for vampires to conceal their nature. But considering our little vampire was turned in 1912…her creator probably hid her on the Carpathia—or as outrageous as it sounds, swam her across the remainder of the Atlantic ocean.”
Derek closes the book in front of him, detailing the events of the RMS Carpathia rescue of Titanic’s passengers. “However he saved her can wait,” he leans his hands onto the table, “We need to figure out the last clue of this riddle.” Moving the riddle to him, Derek reads, “Wearing the Heart of the Ocean, she’s closer than it seems.”
Lydia bites her lip, typing away on her laptop. “If I didn’t know it any better…it sounds like he’s trying to reference a piece of jewelry. Probably a necklace or something.”
Peter rubs his jaw deep in thought, “That could be the source of her glimmer.”
“The necklace?” Stiles wonders aloud.
“Usually most vampires would prefer a ring or bracelet,” he waves a hand, “It’s small and concealable. Very easy for a Druid to enchant the item and allow the vampire to give off the effect to other supernatural beings they’re human. Prevents them from being obliterated by the sun. That’s their glimmer. Sealed within the jewelry to act as a camouflage. So long as they have it on,” he shrugs lightly, “you’d never know what they truly are.”
“And she’s been passing off as a human in Beacon Hills. For God knows how long,” Lydia opens a separate browser, hands hovering over the keyboard. “If her necklace has a name like Heart of the Ocean it shouldn’t be too hard to find. We find the Heart of the Ocean, we find her.” Her words have Allison come over beside her, realization crossing her face.
“Isn’t that the name of the necklace Rose wore in the movie?” Right as she finished her sentence, the image popped up on the screen of said necklace after Lydia typed the name into Google. “So it was real after all?”
“Appears to be,” Lydia was just as amazed. Stiles leans over her other side, eyes bulging at the sight of the large blue heart-shaped diamond surrounded by tiny little white ones.
“That’s gotta be worth a billion dollars.”
“350 million to be exact,” Lydia reads off. “At least today it is. Back then it was worth probably not even a quarter of that price—but still big for its time.”
“So…” Isaac taps his finger to his mouth, glaring up at the ceiling from where he was seated, legs perched on the table. “We’re looking for a vampire—probably at least 120 give or take a few years—who is passing off as human because of a magic necklace worth more than our entire lives. Wonderful.”
Scott takes a glance, letting out a whistle, “That had to have belonged to a first-class passenger. I’d say we start there.”
“On it,” Lydia begins to search records of the names aboard Titanic with First-class tickets. While she’s doing that the pack gathers to the makeshift board Stiles had created, adding notes to it as they go.
Stiles tapes the new information on the necklace to next to the verse on the copy of the riddle they made. “Heart of the Ocean a.k.a the magic necklace making the vampire appear human. To be honest, if someone were wearing a necklace that extravagant in Beacon Hills it’d be noticeable.”
Scott agreed, “She’s probably keeping it under her clothes. I mean I would. Lydia, did you find anything on who it belonged to?”
The redhead makes a huff, “from what the article says,” she clicks on a link, “it belonged to American socialite Y/n L/n as a gift from her husband Theodore Ford on their wedding day. He had it custom made overseas on a trip to France.” Lydia’s eyes widened at the next line, “She was the niece of John Rockefeller and he was the nephew of Henry Ford.”
“Good God,” Stiles made a sound, many of the others showing a similar reaction. “What a match made in heaven…and money.”
“Great,” Peter plops onto the couch, “our vampire was a once billionaire socialite—well maybe not billionaire. That’s a far reach. Since she was only the niece of Rockefeller and her hubby was a Ford she probably only had a snippet of their families fortune.” The man rolls his neck, hands clasped on his lap with his legs kicked up. “She shouldn’t be too hard to find then. All we need is a picture.”
Derek gives his uncle an annoyed look, “We don’t if it’s her or not. Maybe the necklace was stolen by her creator and that’s how she got it.”
“What else does it say?” Allison turns her attention back to her best friend. In her head she couldn’t help but feel there was something missing. That they were so close to the answer.
Lydia continues on, “It says here that they married in 1901–Y/n aged nineteen and Theodore aged twenty-one. They had a son, Benjamin, born 1905 and Theodore died six years later in 1911 from a car accident.” She scrolls down a bit, brows furrowing a tad and makes a sound of ‘eureka!’ “Y/n was gifted two First-Class tickets for her and her son aboard Titanic by her uncle John Rockefeller. They boarded the ship during Titanic’s first stop to Cherbough, France….survivors of Titanic recall last seeing Y/n place her son Benjamin into a lifeboat before being denied entry since it had reached maximum capacity,” a feeling of heartbreak fills the redhead, soon followed by defeat as she reads “It is believed Y/n L/n drowned as the ship submerged beneath the surface on April 15, 1912, as her body was never recovered as one to have perished from hypothermia in the freezing waters. Nor was she listed on the records of survivors on RMS Carpathia. Her son Benjamin was soon taken in by her mother where he remained in New York City until his sudden death in 1918 by influenza.”
A moment of silence passes as they take in the information. For Allison and Lydia, they couldn’t help the sadness for the woman they didn’t even know. To have to say goodbye to your child, likely promising them you’d get on the next boat and would be reunited shortly, only to never see them again.
The redhead suddenly straightens her posture.
“What is it?” Scott hears her heartbeat quicken. Worry takes his features when Lydia appears as if she saw a ghost. Everyone else looks the same when she brings a hand to her mouth. “Lydia?” There’s a slight tremor in her hand when she pulls it away.
“She’s closer than it seems.” She whispers the line from the final verse. Tone filled with near distraught.
Allison takes a hesitant step forward. From where they were all standing they could also see the light of the screen hitting Lydia’s complexion. Whatever was on it was hidden from their view. “Lydia…”
“I-I thought it meant that by finding the Heart of the Ocean we’d be able to spot whoever was wearing it. That we’d have to maybe knock on every door in Beacon Hills until we find whoever is hiding it—as stupid as that sounds. Because who in their right mind if they knew they were being hunted would just hide in plain sight? But….” her breath picks up, slight horror and astonishment as she stares back at the screen. “He knows where she is—h-he wants us to find her, because she can lead us to him.”
“Lydia….” Stiles slowly draws closer to her. Peter moves to stand from the couch, expression unreadable as was Derek’s.
But Lydia’s eyes never move from the screen. “The riddle—it was just his game. He knows exactly where she is. He has to. Because she’s been under our nose all along—closer than we could’ve imagined.” Finally the redhead looks up to the anxious eyes of everyone, revealing the shocking truth with the slow turn of the laptop.
“She boarded Titanic as Y/n L/n,” the screen shows a sepia image causing Allison to gasp, Isaac to mutter ‘holy shit’, Stiles to drop his marker, and Scott to feel his stomach drop. Derek and Peter shared a look, Derek more anxious than his uncle. “But she’s been living as Loretta Andrews.”
There on the screen, listed as the socialite Y/n L/n and wearing the jaw-dropping necklace called the Heart of the Ocean, was a woman whose face the teenagers had seen every Monday to Friday for the last three months. Who looked no older than the age of 30 like in the picture and had arrived in Beacon Hills shortly before the spring semester.
Their English teacher, Loretta Andrews.

Discovery: Stiles x Male Reader
Tumblr media
Second chance at first line
Tumblr media
You let out a frustrated sigh as your friend kept following you around with all his questions. You admired his curiosity but you were in school and rather not get into the logistics of your powers where anyone could hear.
You turned towards him and gave him an annoyed look.
"Look Stiles, I love you but you're being annoying right now."
You smiled before continuing to your locker. He raises his hands in defense as he leans against the locker next to yours.
"Sorry, Sorry. I'm just excited!"
Your eyebrows raised as you tilted your head slightly.
"Yeah, I can tell."
"I just never had a friend who was a vampire before."
You chuckle.
"We've literally been friends since we were kids."
Stiles wagged his finger at you while he laughed with you.
"Doesn't count because I didn't know."
You shake your head and playfully rolled your eyes with a smile stretching along your face.
"Were you born this way?"
You shake your head.
"No, I was turned whenever my mom started dating my dad."
"I remember that, that's when you started wearing these baggy clothes..."
He slightly tugged on the sleeve of your jacket.
"I always thought it was because you're always cold."
You winced and shifted your eyes around when you realized he was talking about your body heat that was non-existent.
"Side effect of being half dead I guess..."
You paused for a moment.
"Would it even be half dead if I never died? Undead maybe..."
You furrowed your eyebrows when you felt a fire in the pit of your stomach and the next moment Scott appeared, grabbing on to Stiles shoulders making him slightly brush against the locker.
"I need you."
Scott gave Stiles a pleading look with a hint of shock. Stiles nodded and patted Scott's shoulder before looking at you.
"See ya bud, gotta be supportive to the other friend.."
Stiles held up his fist and you lightly tapped it with your own, you nodded as they walked off towards the locker room.
—🧛🏼‍♂️
A little while later you found yourself on the bench watching the boys practice, your hood was up blocking the sun from touching your face. You covered your ears each time the coach's whistle sounded. You watched the sweaty boys on the field line up again waiting for the coach's next order.
Scott seemed distracted from where you were seated which wasn't good because Jackson looked about ready to take him down. He seemed to focus a little after awhile and started running up towards Jackson only to be knocked down by him, you winced at the contact and the sound of his body hitting the pavement. You heard Jackson mock Scott before walking away, this had caused you to roll your eyes at his cockiness.
The coach soon followed in Jackson's footsteps and started taunting Scott in an act to provoke him and get him to do better.
Scott had moved back to the start of the line as the coach repeated that he was going to go again.
You watched as Jackson's cocky face shifted as a smirk etched at his lips under his helmet.
After the whistle was blown, Scott quickly made his way towards Jackson, knocking him off of his feet with a huge amount of force effectively harming him.
You stood up in concern for both guys, watching the scene with worried eyes that shifted between Jackson and Scott. You watched as Scott was escorted off the field by Stiles and waited a few moments before going after them in case of an emergency, Not even noticing that Derek was watching from the sidelines.
-
You walked up to the locker room and grabbed the handle quickly pushing inside as you heard Scott's angry yell.
Once inside you noticed an angry Scott chasing around a frightened Stiles, his eyes glowed a bright yellow as he hopped from locker to locker, his eyes trained on Stiles as he stalked his friend, waiting for the opportunity to attack.
Scott climbed onto the ceiling as he chased Stiles who had tried to hide in a locker and watching as he gave up and started heading to the door where you were. When Scott lunged for him but you acted faster pulling Stiles behind you before pushing Scott into the lockers knocking some of them down under his weight from the amount of force you had used. Scott got up once more to attack but Stiles quickly grabbed the fire extinguisher, quickly pulling you behind him before spraying his other friend in the face in hopes of cooling his temper.
"Stiles? Y/N?"
Scott asked softly as he finally came to his senses, he looked extremely confused, he was panting heavily and his face was full of sweat. Stiles' fear instantly turned into relief as he dropped the extinguisher and threw off his gloves.
"You tried to kill us... It's like I told you before. It's the anger, it's your pulse rising, It's a trigger."
Stiles squared in front of his friend as he spoke to him.
"But that's lacrosse."
Scott responded in exhaustion as he breathed heavily.
"It's a pretty violent game, if you haven't noticed."
"Well it'll be a lot more violent if you end up killing someone on the field."
Stiles scolded.
"You can't play Saturday. You are gonna have to get out of the game."
"But I'm first line."
Stiles shook his head as he gave him a firm look, putting his foot down.
"Not anymore."
You looked between the two boys as they stared at the other, Scott looking upset and Stiles looking worried for his friend.
"You okay?"
Scott nodded at your question.
"You?"
You placed a hand on Stiles' shoulder which he pats softly in return.
"Yeah, I'm okay."
—🧛🏾‍♂️
"He probably hates me."
"He doesn't hate you."
Stiles groaned as he leaned into your side, the two of you were currently watching some movie at his house that neither one of you were really paying attention to. You were running your fingers through his hair trying to soothe him from the stress he was feeling about his friend.
"You think I was too hard on him? Maybe I should have—."
"Nope, don't start. You did nothing wrong, you were just looking out for a friend."
You hushed softly as you massaged his scalp, causing him to melt against you. Your phone pinged causing you to stop massaging him to pull your phone out.
Stiles glanced up at you, eyes glittering with curiosity.
"What's up?"
You turned your phone around so that he could read the message you got from Lydia. Stiles sighed as he pulled away completely.
"Where are you going?"
You questioned as your brows furrowed together, you were already missing the warmth his body provided.
"I'll be right back."
Stiles disappeared for a moment before coming back with his laptop in hand and toy gun in hand. He got back onto the couch taking his place near you again, he had been facing away from you this time having his back up against your chest as he started to call up Scott.
When Scott answered, he picked up the gun and started pressing the trigger causing it to light up, You chuckled as his face shifted with pure joy.. Scott jumped at the sound from behind the camera, a concerned look on his face.
"Did you hear that?"
Stiles raised an eyebrow, not knowing what Scott meant.
"T-That sound. It sounded like some type of laugh?"
Stiles laughed.
"Dude, that was just Y/N."
"Really? I don't see him."
"What do you mean dude he's beh—woah."
Stiles noticed that you were not visible in the camera. He turned to look at you then back at the camera then back at you again.
"What? I can't be caught on camera."
"Is that why you usually keep your camera off?"
You shrugged.
"Pretty much."
Scott nodded as he was processing the information.
"So what'd you find out?"
Scott asked, changing the subject.
"Well it's bad. Jackson's got a separated shoulder."
Scott deflated slightly.
"Because of me?"
"Because he sucks/Because he's a tool."
"Well i-is he gonna play?"
"Oh, they don't know yet."
Stiles shrugged.
"Now they're just counting on you Saturday."
Scott sighed and shook his head, you frowned when you noticed the slightest movement behind him. Stiles had noticed too as his eyes squinted to try to see better.
"What?"
The connection started to get a bit shaky, so Stiles began to type. Your eyes widened when you finally saw what or who was in his room.
"It looks like what?"
Scott questioned as his brows furrowed in confusion, he watched as the screen started buffering, he got a little frustrated the longer his computer acted up.
When the computer finally started working again he could see Stiles new message. He was more confused but as the realization filled his eyes, the line cut.

Now accepting requests for Teen Wolf!
Tumblr media
I will write for Stiles Stilinski (even though I haven't gotten to that part in the show yet, I would love to write about Void!Stiles if anybody has any specific requests for him), Allison Argent, Lydia Martin, and (maybe) Jackson Whittemore.
Requests should be sent to the ask box @sundrop-writes and please read this full list of rules before sending in a request.
I am accepting requests for smut, but I would love to get some requests for something angsty or hurt/comfort, or something with teenage romance that is more aligned with the tone of the show - because I love those kind of plotlines, but I have trouble coming up with ideas for them.
So, as you guys may have been me posting about - I have been watching Teen Wolf. I just finished the first season, but I have seen parts of Season 3 and Season 4 (when it was first airing), so keep in mind when you send in requests, if you mention later plot points, I may be confused about the context, but those plot points won't be spoilers for me.
Also, I am only writing about this short list of characters rather than characters that appear in later seasons, because these are the characters that I know best right now, and their characterization in my fics will likely be how they acted around S1 because that is what I was just watching and what I know.
Also keep in mind - I am not in a rush to get requests done. I am just looking for some stuff to distract me because I am going through a stressful period in life right now, and I will pick out whatever interests me and work on it at a leisurely pace. I am also working on some other Stiles fics and I have one finished in my drafts.

Please send in Teen Wolf requests!!
Tumblr media
I was just going through some of my older fics, and I realized that writing requests for Teen Wolf was some of the most fun I have ever had writing fics all year. So if you have any requests for these characters, please send them in. Lately I have been feeling so lost creatively and I really need something to reset my brain and get me really excited about working on fics again, so even if I only pick one or two requests to work on and it jumpstarts my creativity again, that would be amazing. (Especially because over the past month or so, writing fics for me has felt like banging my head into a wall and I hate it.)
The characters I write for: Stiles Stilinski, Erica Reyes, Allison Argent (I would love to write more for her omg please), Lydia Martin, Isaac Lahey (please send in requests for him, my baby, my love), Derek Hale, (maybe) Scott McCall, and (maybe) Jackson Whittemore. (I would also be open to writing about Peter Hale or Mommy Melissa if the idea is right.)
I would love to have some requests for MLTs, Headcanons, Reactions, and other shorter fics, but I would also love some ideas for longer fics to play off of. Please read my Rules page before requesting - but I am gonna copy/paste some stuff from my Rules page here, because I have a feeling that a lot of people don't actually read it before they send in a request. Ooop.
I do write for GN reader characters (where no gender is described), male reader characters, but I mostly write for fem reader characters - especially if the gender is not specified in the request. I write smut, angst, any dark topics, but I don't write fluff all that often. (I do like writing hurt/comfort - because I love writing angst.)
In case you don't know what MLT means, to clarify:
MLTS - ‘Most Likely To’s aka a short description explaining which character of the group (or two, or three characters) would be ‘most likely’ to do something or enjoy something. This could be exploring their potential enjoyment of a kink or how they would behave on a date, how they would be as a romantic partner. It can be anything you want, get creative.
Reactions - 'how would they react to…’ aka a short description explaining how the characters (two or three, you can choose) would react to a certain situation. (If you want this format done with the whole group at once, it will likely be much shorter.)
Headcanons - a collection of bullet points that creates a shorter, quicker, more efficient style of fic by taking the reader through a tour of ideas, the character’s reactions and thoughts in a shorter format. (These are like full fics, but can usually be done faster.)
(If you need some inspiration, there are examples of prompts on my rules page, linked above.)
Here is a list of dialogue prompts that I would love to use for longer fics:
“Who did this to you?”
“You died. You should be dead.” (Bonus: “Well, I’m not.”)
“Can you run that by me again?”
“You know, if you weren’t so annoying, you might actually be hot.”
“Could you please just listen to me for once?”
“Why are you doing this?”
“Oh, fuck.”
“Hey, hey. It’s gonna be okay.”
“Oh. Oh.”
“Is that blood?” (Bonus: “It’s not mine.”)
“No, shut up. Stop talking like that. You’re gonna be fine.”
“Shut up and kiss me already.”
“Why would you do something that stupid?” “Because I’m in love with you.”
“I think I might be pregnant.”
“Oh, great. It’s you again.”
“Is that a bite?”
“Oh my god. You’re here.”
“I’ll never forgive you for this.”
“Why don’t you just let me help you?”
“I am done waiting for you.”
“I’m in love with you, dumbass.”
“Please, just let me take care of you.”
“What are you gonna do about it?”
“I’ll kill all of them.”
“I can keep you safe.”
“You’re lucky it was just a scratch.”
“So you aren’t heartless after all?”
“I had it under control. You didn’t need to do that.”
“Can’t sleep?”
“I thought I lost you.”
“You’re being really nice.” (Bonus: “Yeah, are you surprised?”)
“I’m not afraid of you.”
“You know, I was wrong about you.”
“How about a goodnight kiss?”

Protectors: The Tell
Tumblr media
Y/n was sitting around doing nothing while she waited for Derek to return home from the “trip” he took with Scott. She was reading a book, when he heard Derek’s car engine driving onto the property. She heard him get out of the car but there was someone with him she knew that from the second door closing, and another pair of footsteps. “You know I have a life too.” She heard Scott say to Derek. She rolled her eyes already tired of the bickering pair. “No you don’t.” Derek said sighing turning around from his place on the stairs. Y/n got up to meet the bickering pair at the staircase, not saying anything. “Yes I do! I cont care what your saying about him making me his pet or wha-“ at this y/n interrupted “part of his pack” she said correcting him. Scott and Derek both looked over to her acknowledging what she said, Scott rolled his eyes and sighed. “Whatever. I have homework to do. I have to go to a parent teacher conference tomorrow because I’m failing chemistry” he said. Y/n felt for the teenage boy, she knew what it was like to have to balance her life and the supernatural protector rank that fell on her shoulders. Derek impatiently switched feet putting his weight on his right foot “do you want to do homework? Or do you want to not die” he’s sassed making y/n roll her eyes and sigh, making sure to make a mental note to talk to Derek about the way he was with these teenagers. “Look Scott you have less than a week until the full moon, if you don’t kill with him, he kills you.” Y/n said folding her arms.
Scott, now fed up with all of these rules shook his head “okay, seriously, who made up these rules?”. “It’s a rite if passage into his pack” Derek explained. “You know what else is a rite of passage? Graduating high school! And you don’t have to kill anyone to do it!” He said, he wasn’t wrong. “So if I help you, you guys can stop him?” He asked. Y/n shook he head “not by ourselves, we’re stronger in numbers. A pack make the individual more powerful, and I can only do so much at the given time” she said going to stand in between the two and facing Scott. “How am I supposed to help you if I have no idea what I’m doing?” He asked defeated. “Because we’re gonna teach you.” Derek said. “You remember what happened that first night you were shot in the arm? Right after you were hit?” Derek asked stepping down beside me. “Yeah I changed back” scot said nodding. “And then you were hit by his car, same thing, right? What’s the common denominator?” Derek asked grabbing and bending his wrist. Y/n wanted to stop him but Scott needed this. “What the hell are you doing?” Scott asked groaning in pain. “You’ll heal” y/n said looking down at scott who was now on his knees in pain. “It still hurt” he said looking up at the couple. “And that’s what keeps you human, pain” Derek said, watching as Scott healed. “Maybe you will survive” he said impressed, before walking up the stairs. Y/n sighed helping Scott up.
“Is he always that straight forward?” He asked. Y/n smiled “not always, he’s been through a lot. I find it amazing that he’s still able to care about the world when it’s been nothing but awful to him.” She replied with a quiet laugh. “Go home, get sleep, you’ve got school tomorrow.” She said hugging him and sending him off. Y/n closed her eyes and sighed. She wanted to help everyone the best she could, but the problems never stopped. She made her way up the stairs to find where Derek went, she found him in the bathroom brushing his teeth for bed. She stood admiring the handsome man in front of her. Derek looked over at her through the mirror, “like the view?” He asked smirking “oh I love the view” she said somewhat sarcastic. Derek smiled and they both stood in silence, Derek continuing on his nightly routine. “Do you aver wish we weren’t supernatural?” She asked. Derek stood straight and spurned around to talk to her face to face instead of through the mirror. “I used to, I like to think I’m saving lives. Protecting the little ones who don’t know they’re involved.” He said. Y/n loved that about Derek, he always cared. No matter how much pain and grief he suffered, he always cared. She smiled and started on her night routine.
—— the next day——
Y/n had decided to take the day off from school, opting to hang around Derek just for her to end up at school. “You know if I wanted be here I would have just came to school today” she muttered following Derek through the hallways of the school. “ you didn’t have to come” he sassed, and just by his tone she knew he was smiling. “Derek, I skipped school to spend the day with you” she said groaned. Derek stopped and turned around “how about this, after this, I’ll spend the rest of today with you. No interruptions, promise.” He said smiling. Y/n smiled looking up at the taller man “okay deal” she said. Derek leaned down and gave y/n a quick kiss before grabbing her hand and pulling her along.
The pair made it to the boys locker room for lacrosse players. Y/n sighed and roller her eyes as a guy walked out, leaving only one beating heart in the room, Jackson. He turned around and gasped when he saw us. “I- I don’t know where Scott is” he stuttered. “Oh we’re not here for Scott. We’re here for you” y/n said in a sickeningly sweet voice. She hated being mean but Jackson.. was an exception. “Wh-why me? I- I didn’t do anything” he stuttered backing up into the lockers behind him. Y/n and Derek walked forward getting closer to the cowering boy. Derek smiled “no, but you saw something didn’t you” he asked. “No, I didn’t- I didn’t see anything” he denied, still stuttering. “What was it? Hmm? An animal? A mountain lion?” Derek asked. “I didn’t see anything. I swear. I’m- I’m not lying.” He defended. “I don’t know Jackson, something’s telling me your lying” y/n said. “Calm down and say it again” she said. “Say what? That I’m not lying” he asked confused. “Tell us that you didn’t dn see anything. Slowly” Derek demanded. “I. Didn’t. See. Anything. I’m not lying. “ he said slowly. We both knew Jackson was lying but decided not to push the boy anymore. “One more thing” Derek said pulling his hair to show the wound on his neck. Y/n inspected the wound “you should probably get that checked out” y/n said. With that being done and over with, the couple walked out and made their way back to the hale house.
In the car y/ns phone had started to buzz, she took the phone out of her pocket and looked at the caller who just to happened to be stiles. She sighed and answered the phone “yes stiles?” She said. “Where the hell are you guys?” He asked. Y/ns eyebrows furrowed “what do you mean?” She asked. “Did you and Scott decide collectively to bail school and not let me in on it?” Y/n sighed “Scott’s not at school?” She asked. “No, and neither are you. You know someone died last night and Lydia is completely MIA and, you and Scott need to do something about it.” “What do you think I’ve been doing?” “I don’t know, whatever it is that you do when your not at school” y/n rolled her eyes. “Does Scott know?” She asked “no, he won’t answer my calls.” “Okay I’ll figure it out, give me some time” she said. “Okay” he said before t/n ended the call. She sighted, “we are never gonna get a break, are we” she asked turning toward Derek. “Probably not” he said laughing.
They decided they were gonna figure it out while Derek worked out. She kept getting distracted by Derek who was jumping from doing pull ups to push ups. “You know your really distracting in these situations” she said smirking. “You could be down here with me” he huffed while doing push ups. They both paused looking towards where the front door was located. Y/ns head tilted feeling her body go into protector mode. The couple jumped up when they heard the door being kicked in, and three pairs of feet walk in. “Nobody home?” She heard a man. “Oh he’s here, just not feeling particularly hospitable” she heard the voice of Kate argent. Her blood began to boil as she started to make her way to meet the demon woman but was stopped by Derek. “Hide, they don’t know your here, give them a surprise” he whispered. She hesitated but agreed giving him a kiss and sneaking out of sight but close by. She heard Kate say “you want to provoke him, say something like, ‘to bad your sister bit it before she had her first litter’” y/n had gotten so mad her body began to shake with anger, trying not to just jump out and end her before she could take another step. “To bad she howled like a bitch when we cut her in half.” Kate hissed. Y/n heard Derek growl and a body hit the floor, and another shortly after. She couldn’t tell exactly where derek was until she Heard him snarl and then a taser sending Derek’s body to the ground groaning. Y/n made her way around to try to sneak up behind Kate. She was right behind the wall when she heard Kate. “Mm this one grew up in all the right places. I don’t know whether to kill it or lick it” she said.
Y/n rushed from behind the wall eyes glowing vibrant, and threw her to the wall “How about I kill you. Hmm?” Y/n growled. Kate recovered quickly running at y/n with her taser in her hand. Y/n and kate hassled for a minute, y/n had decided not to use magic, as she could easily take down kate without it. But kate still had her taser and tased y/n when she went to knee her stomach. The volts sent y/n to the ground convulsing in pain. Her body twitched still feeling the electricity roaming through her body. Kate began to walk around the couple on the ground, mostly following derek as he crawled to the couch to pick himself up before tasing him again. The pain in y/n had began subsiding as she sat up not making an effort to stand. “Nine-hundred-thousand volts...You never were good with electricity, were you? Or fire. How about you y/n? How’s it seeing him in pain over me again? Anyway, I'm gonna let you in on a little secret...and, well, maybe we can help each other out...” kate said. Once again Derek had began to get up despite the pain, as he crawled his way over to y/n who grabbed his hand muttering a spell to ease his pain.
“Yes, your sister was severed into pieces and used as bait to try to catch you. Unpleasant, and frankly, a little too Texas Chainsaw Massacre for my taste, but quite true.” Both derek and y/n stared up at the evil woman with the most deadly of glares. “Now, here's the part that might really kick you in your new balls--we didn't kill her.” Kate finished. Y/n scoffed as Derek just continued to glare still shaking. “What you think I’m lying?” She asked. “Wouldn’t be the first time” Derek said tensely. “Why don’t you just listen to my heart and tell me if I am?” She asked. Y/n rolled her eyes and sighed but still listened. Kate repeated the words and y/n didn’t hear a tick in her heartbeat, so she either learned to control her heartbeat or she wasn’t lying. “Hear that? No skips or upticks. Just the steady beat of the cold hard truth.” She said. Y/n groaned having grown tired of the woman’s voice ages ago. Kate stood and began to walk around again, collapsing her taser “Found bite marks on your sister's body, Derek. What do you think did that? A mountain lion? Why aren't we helping each other out? You might as well admit what you've been guessing all along, which is...the Alpha killed your sister. And all you have to do is tell us who he is, and we'll take care of it for you! Problem solved, everybody goes home happy.” She said looking at the two. Neither of the pair spoke up causing Kate’s eyebrows to raise.
“Unless… you don’t know who he is either.” She said in realization. She sighed shaking her head “wow. Guess who just became totally useless.” She said turning her back for a split second, that allowed y/n and Derek to sprint out of the house hearing gunshots firing behind them. Once they were sure they were far enough they stopped running, Derek looked back at the direction the had just ran from with anger covering his features. “I can’t wait until the day I can curse her” y/n said panting. Derek looked down at her and smiled slightly grabbing her hand and walking out of the woods careful not to run into Kate and her goons.

That was it.
That moment was either kill or be killed.
Realization dawned upon everyone at the same time, the air in the room shifting as everyone understood what needed to be done. Even the Kanima had his own rules to carry out. Whether they wanted to or not, they had to fight Jackson, and someone had to come out of it alive.
Isaac’s grip tightened around (Y/N) as the creature unhanded Allison, its sight set on the other Argent girl. Meanwhile, her father stood between her and the creature in a protective stance. Even without a loaded weapon, he would not let more harm come to his daughter.  It was clear Gerard had given Jackson a quiet command and he couldn’t ignore it.
But once free, Allison reared back and elbowed the Kanima in the face, breaking his gaze before he pushed her to the ground and out of the way. His eyes fell back on (Y/N), a murderous glint in his irises. He was tasked to kill the girl, and he wouldn’t stop until he completed his goal.
Suddenly, Stiles’ powder blue Jeep crashed through the wall, colliding straight with the Kanima. “Did I get him?” he asked, his eyes tightly shut.
His question was answered as Jackson jumped onto the car, scaring him and Lydia out of the vehicle. Stiles ran to Scott while Lydia faced the lizard version of her ex-boyfriend. As scared as she was, she knew what she had to do, obviously aware since before she came upon the creature. She dug into her pocket for a key, her head facing away from the Kanima, too afraid of his form to stare and bracing for his potential strike.
“Jackson,” she muttered as she showed him the key, stopping him dead in his tracks.
The creature’s eyes focused on the item. Suddenly, it was the most important thing on his mind. He no longer felt the uncontrollable need to kill; there was only him and his memories. It wasn’t the key, of course not, but what that little gold thing meant.
Right before everyone’s eyes, the scales started to disappear from Jackson’s body, revealing the boy under the murderous lizard. Lydia had always been the answer to their Kanima problem; they just didn’t know.
The boy stumbled back as his body continued to revert, and in the blink of an eye, Derek sprung from the ground toward him, and Peter appeared from his back, and they both dug their claws into Jackson’s stomach and back, respectively. They raised him off the ground, sinking deeper before setting him back down. Blood pooled in his mouth, and his stance faltered as weakness took over him.
Lydia was quick to help him stand, her teary eyes focused only on him. “Do you…,” he tried to speak. “Do you still…?”
“I do,” she whimpered as she nodded. “I do still love you.”
The redhead kept repeating the words as a mantra as Jackson closed his eyes and his body grew limp. They both fell to the ground as the weight took over the girl, but she never let him go. Instead, she cradled his body close to hers, whispering her goodbyes to the boy who had been her first love.
All their friends could do was stand and stare as they watched her lay him gently on the ground, witnessing the last traces of the Kanima disappear from Jackson’s face. They had gone so far and done so much, only for Derek to get what he wanted in the end.
But they were in Beacon Hills. There, sometimes, the dead didn’t stay dead for long.
As they worried about Gerard’s sudden disappearance and Lydia turned her back to Jackson, the sound of nails scraping the concrete echoed through the room. He raised from the ground and revealed the most unexpected of turns. The bite had taken, and Jackson had finally gotten what he wanted. He was finally a werewolf. And, most of all, he was alive.
“Don’t mean to break this beautiful moment here,” (Y/N) muttered. Lydia and Jackson had shared in an intimate embrace as they celebrated his reanimation and her confessions. “Still sort of bleeding out here.”
“Oh my god, (Y/N),” Allison said as realization dawned upon her. “I-I…”
“You can save your guilt for a later time,” the girl groaned. “Right now, I need to stop the bleeding.”
“Here, munchkin.” Henry ripped two strips from the bottom of his t-shirt, using them as a tourniquet for her leg and shoulder. “That should keep you stable until we get home and get you stitched up.”
“(Y/N), I’m…”
“It’s fine, Allison,” (Y/N) said through gritted teeth. “We can talk later. I just… I need to get out of here.”
“Take my car,” Chris interjected. “I’ll go back home with Allison.”
“Yeah,” she muttered, shame eating away at her mind. “I’ll see you later, I guess.”
(Y/N) started to limp away with the help of her father and Isaac, ignoring the burning gaze of Derek. She could tell he wanted to reach out, to be the one helping her to the van. But he had burned that bridge with a torch and gasoline. If he ever planned on rebuilding it, he’d have to do it from the ground up.
The girl groaned with every step she took, her limbs aching and pulsing. Isaac helped her into the SUV, clicking her seatbelt for her, careful to avoid her injuries. “I can go with you,” he whispered. “Meet you at the house?”
“You should stay with Derek for now,” she said. “My mom’s gonna probably be at the house and Erica and Boyd have to be there already. I’ll send them over as soon as I can—given they actually went there.”
“But…”
“I’ll be okay, Isaac,” she assured with a weak smile. “I’ll see you later today, okay?”
“She’s in good hands, kid,” Henry said as he sat on the driver’s side of the car. “We’ll let you know when you can sneak back into the house.”
“You, uh, you know about that, sir?”
“Not much happens in my house that I don’t know about,” he chuckled. “And I know Brody is not the one eating the food in my kitchen.”
“Oh, uh, um...”
“It’s okay, Isaac,” Henry smiled. “I don’t mind. There’s always space for anyone that needs it at my house. You can stay over any time—except when my wife is at home. She’s not as generous.”
“Uh, thank you, sir,” Isaac mumbled. “I appreciate it.”
“Guys, this is a beautiful moment,” (Y/N) interrupted, “but still bleeding here.”
“Right,” her father chuckled. “We’ll let you know when you can come over.”
The car ride back home was quiet at first. Henry sped through the streets, rushing to get to his house and take care of his daughter. He knew her condition wasn’t worrisome, but it didn’t stop the concern that flooded his mind as (Y/N) grimaced and groaned from the pain. But he knew all she needed was a bit of conversation to distract her mind.
“So, you and Isaac seem close,” Henry teased. “Is he the boy that had you questioning our family’s beliefs?”
“What? No,” she quickly replied. “Isaac and I are just friends, dad.”
“Does he know that?”
“Dad…”
“I’m just saying, kid,” he chuckled. “He seems to really care about you.”
“And I care about him, but we’re just friends,” (Y/N) assured. “It didn’t really work out with the person I was talking about that day. He, uh, wasn’t who I thought he was.”
Henry turned to look at his daughter. She no longer was the little girl who could barely see above the dashboard when in the front seat, or the preteen who would live with headphones on her ears. (Y/N) was closer to adulthood than she was to her younger years, even if he couldn’t think of her as anything other than his baby girl. She was growing, and with that came many challenges they would have to face together.
“Is it Derek?” the man continued to inquire. “Gerard mentioned something about it tonight.”
(Y/N)’s gaze fell to her leg, fiddling with the soaked fabric. “Yeah,” she sighed defeatedly. “I mean, nothing really happened between us, but it still ended.”
“Derek Hale, huh? He’s been quite the character in our family’s story.”
“Yeah, sure know how to pick ‘em,” the girl chuckled awkwardly. “Didn’t even get to become a problem for the Argents. Over before we even began.”
“Do you wanna talk about it?” Henry asked. “You don’t have to, of course. But it can help you make sense of everything.”
“I don’t… he just said something that he can’t take back,” she shrugged, sinking into the seat. (Y/N) considered telling her father the entire story. From the dreams to the agreement she had made with Derek, she wanted him to know everything. But if he could keep his secrets, so could she. At least until they all erupted to the surface. “We just don’t work, I guess. No point in really delving into the whole thing.”
“Well, I’m here if you wanna talk about it, kid,” he said as he killed the car’s engine. “Let me help you out.”
Henry rounded the car and took his daughter in his arms, carrying her inside.
The house was quiet and dark, save for a light in the kitchen. There, Rebecca was serving a wine glass for herself. As (Y/N) came into view, the glass slipped from her hand and shattered on the ground, spilling liquid as red as the blood that stained her daughter’s skin.
“What happened?!” she exclaimed as she ran to her daughter. “I thought you were supposed to stay away from this.”
“She wasn’t gonna work with the hunters,” Henry said as he set (Y/N) on a stool by the kitchen island. “Doesn’t mean she wasn’t gonna help her friends.”
“Did they do this to you, (Y/N)?” Rebecca worried. “Did those things hurt you?”
“No, mom,” (Y/N) scoffed. “This is the work of Allison. You know, your niece who was hellbent on getting the local pack to avenge her mother. Yeah, she did this.”
“No… Allison wouldn’t.”
“She did,” Henry confirmed. “Gerard was real proud.”
“Come on, she’s family,” the woman continued to argue. “Allison wouldn’t do that to you.”
“We can stay here and argue about what happened to me,” (Y/N) sighed, “or you can help me with these wounds. Just stop. Please, mom.”
Rebecca hurried to the cupboard under the kitchen sink. She pulled out the first aid kit and quickly set to work on her daughter. First, she cut the leg of her pants, sliding it softly down her leg, careful not to disturb the wound. The girl’s thigh was covered in dried blood, fresh droplets still coming out of the cut. Thankfully, the knife hadn’t gone deep enough to nick any veins, but it had caused enough damage to drench her jeans and her skin with blood.
The woman cleaned the skin surrounding the wound, mindful of her daughter’s jerks and winces as she worked. Once the area was clear she glued the skin back together with a liquid bandage before doing the same with the girl’s shoulder. Finally, she covered both wounds with a waterproof bandage and gave her daughter two ibuprofen pills.
“Why don’t you head up to the shower and go to bed, honey?” Rebecca said as she put the items away. “We can all talk calmly tomorrow. It’s been a long night already.”
“Yeah, are you asking me or telling me?”
“Okay, kid, let’s get you upstairs,” Henry said, stifling a laugh. “There’s gonna be a lot to unpack tomorrow.”
“Alright, I get the hint,” (Y/N) said as she got off the stool, careful to keep her weight mostly off her hurt leg. “Good night, guys.”
“Do you need any help?”
“I think I can manage.” She tested her steps, making sure she could at least make it to her room without help. “Yeah. I’m good.”
“Alright,” Henry said before kissing the top of his daughter’s head. “Let me know if anything changes during the night, munchkin. I don’t care how late it is.”
“Yeah. Thanks.” (Y/N) limped toward the staircase, pressing her nails into her palms as pain shot up her leg and through her arm. She knew she should have asked for help, even if it was just to her room. But she had felt useless enough. “Night, guys.”
“Good night, honey,” her parents called out.
The girl mustered all the strength she could to make it all the way to her room. Part of her hoped Erica and Boyd had made it to her house. But as soon as her doorknob turned without any fight, she knew they were not there. All she could do was hope they at least were somewhere safe. Maybe they had gone through their plan of skipping town. Maybe.
Instead of two teen werewolves inside her room, she was met with an expectant Brody. In the blink of an eye, he had jumped off her bed and was by her side, whimpering as he noted the star of her body. He nudged her healthy leg softly, his eyes focused on hers.
“Hey, buddy,” she chuckled painfully. “I’m alright, boy. Just gotta get all this dirt off.”
Brody merely whined in response, clearly worried for his owner.
“I’m okay, bud,” (Y/N) smiled weakly. “We won tonight. Yeah. We won.”
She wasn’t sure if those last words had been to calm her dog or if she had to convince herself. They’d merely won a fight, but she could feel a war coming in. Something no one was ready for.
But she couldn’t worry about the future just yet. Not when the present was still so fresh.
After sending Brody to her bed, (Y/N) hurried to the bathroom. She set her change of clothes on the bathroom sink before ripping the dirty clothes off her body. The fabric had darkened with her blood, making it cling to her as it dried. Both items were unsalvageable, already cut and sulked by her wounds. They were evidence of a fight well fought but they reminded her of all she had done wrong.
(Y/N) set the shower to run hot before she allowed the stream to over her aching body. As the water came close to singe her skin, she allowed the tears to fall from her eyes, one of her hands flying to her mouth to muffle the sobs that escaped her.
Her mind kept replaying the night. She had started off strong with her fight back at the school. Hell, she had felt invincible then. When she had helped Erica and Boyd escape, she was sure the night would be filled with nothing but wins. But all it took was one wrong move and she’d allowed Allison to incapacitate her for the rest of the fight. If Stiles and Lydia had not burst in, she would have just become a burden to her friends. All the training and records she had broken had meant nothing. Not when a simple knife to her leg was enough to take her out of the running.
Then there had been Derek. She couldn’t get the gut-wrenching look of betrayal he sent her out of her mind. As much as he had hurt her, she didn’t want to hurt him. Yet, she knew Scott’s plan inevitably would. Derek was too married to the notion that the only way they could defeat Jackson was by killing him, but in doing so, he’d unravel too many knots that had already been tied.
When she had gone to see Scott after the fight in the sheriff’s station, (Y/N) had been sure she’d be leaving his house on Derek’s side. But there she learned just how much was at stake, and to beat Gerard they had to start playing his game. He had begged her not to tell Derek, knowing the alpha would find a way to get the Argent man exactly what he wanted. Knowing how much they could lose in the process, she had agreed. She didn’t tell anyone.
Much like she had done for her pain since she was a little girl, she kept it all inside. The girl shielded everyone around her from her fears and her sadness, too afraid to let them be consumed by the darkness that hid within her—in her mind and her heart. It was that very darkness that she was afraid would eat away at her when she least expected it. The void that lived in the chest of every Argent, waiting dormant until it was its time to wake.
(Y/N) had seen that darkness in Allison that night, but it had started its consumption many nights before. It had chiseled away at the barriers of her mind, clouding her thoughts with ire and vengeance. That night, it was the darkness that had sunk its knife into (Y/N)’s body for standing in the way. She couldn’t blame her cousin because she knew it all too well. It had visited her in her dreams, and it had been biding its time until it could have a taste of her too.
The water had grown cold by the time it had finally run clear. Ache returned to her muscles as the temperature dropped, and she knew her laments had to stop, too. No good would come from being alone with her thoughts, spiraling down an endless tunnel of dread.
At that moment, there was only one person that her mind drifted to for consolation. Regardless of what he had done and what he had said, she had grown to find comfort in him—his arms, his touch, his lips. And at that moment she needed that solace.
But he had made things clear, and no phone call or message could change his mind.
At least that’s what she thought.
(Y/N) left her bathroom, ready to sink into her cold bed and fall asleep to Brody’s gentle snores. She left the mess of dirty clothes on the floor—a problem for the morning. All she wanted was rest. Just rest.
She hadn’t expected to find Derek in the middle of her room, welcomed by an excited Brody. He was petting the dog and singing him praises when he noticed (Y/N) coming into the room, making him stop dead in his tracks. “(Y/N), I…” he started, unsure of what to say. “I know I shouldn’t be here, but after tonight I just had to see you, make sure you were okay. I can go if that’s what you want. I just…”
(Y/N) didn’t let him finish. She ran to him and wrapped her arms around his waist, letting herself come undone in his arms. Words be damned, hurt be damned. All she wanted was that moment. She allowed herself to sob into his chest, melting into his embrace like she had done before, and she cried. She cried until she didn’t remember if she had stopped.
