Part 1 everyone - Batfamily x male!reader

Summary: Bruce wants to meet the supposed boyfriend and the parents.

Warnings: fluff, no one wants (Y/N) to grow up

The revelation of (Y/N) having a boyfriend sent everyone into a spiral. Everyone. Bruce still couldn't believe and when reflecting back on (Y/N)'s adorable revelation, Bruce was glad to be sitting down. And yes, him and Alfred had that scotch. How could they not? The baby of the family, not even a double digit age, has a boyfriend.

Dick still can't come to terms with it. He refuses to believe it. His baby brother... Having a boyfriend... No.

The rest were in almost the same mindset, but not so severe as Dick.

Either way, they were slowly, but surely, accepting the fact that (Y/N) has a boyfriend. Bruce has decided to set up a playdate with the supposed boyfriend. He needs to meet the boy and the boy's parents. He was going to make sure that the boy is worthy of dating (Y/N).

Hold on... (Y/N) is not a teen yet... He is still a toddler. Bruce sighed as he sipped his scotch slowly in his study, while (Y/N) was napping in his room. Why is Bruce in a mindset that (Y/N) is a teen? Probably because he has 4 teenage boys and those 4 do love testing his patience.

So, Bruce went on a solo pick up trip. He prohibited the boys from coming because none of them would be able to be calm. Damian would be him scary self, Jason would join him, Tim would look like he didn't sleep for days and it would look like Bruce abused him or something. And Dick? An emotional mess to say it lightly.

So Bruce waited patiently, watching as (Y/N) interacted with a boy... Holding hands... So there it is... The boyfriend. Bruce crossed his arms as he watched, trying to pinpoint the parents of the boy. And he found them.

A gay couple, one tall and one smaller. Adorable. (Y/N) noticed Bruce and ran to him, making Bruce smile. Bruce picked him up with ease.

" Hey (Y/N). How was your day? " Bruce asked as he adjusted (Y/N) in his arms.

" It was great. " (Y/N) said as he yawned, leaning his head on Bruce's chest, making Bruce chuckle.

" Someone's tired. Is that the boyfriend you were telling me about? " Bruce asked as he turned to look at the couple and their son. (Y/N) nodded, yawning in the process.

" I'm Bruce Wayne, nice to meet you. I would shake your hands, but they are full. " Bruce introduced himself to the couple, making them chuckle.

" No problem. I'm Theodore and this is my husband James. And this little boy is Dylan. " The taller one introduced the family and Bruce nodded.

" It seems our sons... Are dating. " Bruce said, rather hesitantly. He didn't know how he could approach this, how the other parent's feel about it.

" We know... James nearly passed out once he heard the excited, ' Dad, papa, I have a boyfriend. "

" My oldest wept once he heard it. One thought he was hallucinating since he is an insomniac. One who is usually stoic nearly lost it. And one is holding on by a thread. And I had to open up a bottle of scotch... So that's how we have been doing. " Bruce said, glancing down at his son, whose eyes were still closed.

" I did the exact same thing. " Theodore said picking Dylan up, adjusting his son in his arms.

" I was thinking about inviting you two to the manor, for a playdate. If our kids our... It's weird to say in a relationship, but you get my gist. " Bruce explained and the couple laughed.

" We'll be honored to come. " James said and Bruce reached into his pocket to give them a business card.

" My number's on it. Also, is Dylan allergic to animals? Cat and a dog? " Bruce inquired and both shook their heads.

" My second youngest has animals so I need to check. Just send me a text later and we'll go from there. " Bruce stated and the pair nodded.

" We'll do that. "

And the day finally came. Theodore and James came over with little Dylan and the two boys wasted no time in the big garden. Running, playing, Titus joining in, but being gentle... Bruce watched with Theodore and James, all of them sipping something. Bruce sipped some scotch, while they drank some red wine that Bruce pulled out of nowhere.

" So, if you don't mind me asking, what do you two do for a living? " Bruce asked, leaning back in his chair, crossing one of his legs over another.

" I'm a tattoo artist. " Theodore started and Bruce nodded. " I own my own shop. You might have heard about it, it's called, Majestic Ink. "

Bruce tilted his head as he thought about. " I have heard about it. Only nice things about it. " He said and Theodore smiled.

" And you James? "

" I own a chain of restaurants. " James explained and Bruce nodded.

" So we are all business owners. " Bruce noted and the two nodded. " Not an easy one. Especially bigger ones. " James laughed as he heard it and nodded.

" Tell me about it. I have to look after several restaurants and he looks after one shop. I envy him. " James admitted, playing with the stem of his wine glass.

" I envy small businesses. You don't have to worry about so many employees, you don't worry about your reputation, unless you are in a small town... I envy you Theodore. " Bruce admitted and Theodore chuckled at that.

" I don't envy you. All eyes are on you and if you mess up, everyone shits on you. Also, a quick question, how do you manage 4 teen boys? " Theodore inquired and Bruce laughed.

" That's the best part. You don't. You simply need patience and they need their daily dose of bickering. I bicker with them and they bicker with each other. I only tell them if they fight that they don't kill one another and no broken bones. I'm not driving them to the hospital. But, once (Y/N) into our lives, they became much more calmer, for his sake. " Bruce explained. " So I don't really worry about them fighting anymore. Physically at least. Verbally, they can throw it. " Bruce admitted, raising his glass of scotch up to his lips.

" We are just asking. We need to be prepared for Dylan. He is a sassy child already... I'm dreading the teen stage. " James rubbed his temple, laughing to himself.

" They are all going to put us in our early graves. " Theodore said, clearly referencing both (Y/N) and Dylan and the revelation of their... Relationship...

" You know, you know we love them and that they are doing what the rest of the kids do... They try to put us into our graves. " James concluded and Bruce let out a quiet amen.

" To our kids that are going to put us into their graves, " Bruce raised his glass, Theodore and James following his lead.

" And giving us gray hairs. " James added and the trio of fathers laughed, letting out a cheerful hear hear and then sipped their drinks.

" Dad! " (Y/N) yelled, running towards him. Bruce got prepared to pick him up as he had done this before. Bruce picked (Y/N) up, propping him up on his lap.

" Yes? "

" I want to marry Dylan! " (Y/N) said with a smile on his little face.

Bruce raised his glass again, nodding to Theodore and James before downing his scotch.

Kids do put you in your grave and give you gray hairs.

" Where are my brothers? " (Y/N) asked all of a sudden. Bruce might have gave them money to go shopping for the day so they leave the manor and not scare the poor boy.

" They have some plans, but they'll be back soon. "

God, the way Simon would TREASURE it. The way he’d hold onto it, bringing it with him everywhere and reading it and keeping it as close to himself as possible.

But if we push my tears aside for one sec, imagine tall awkwardly wide and lanky Simon bringing Nerd!Reader second hand jewellery like he’s bringing them the game from his hunt.

The way he’d loom close by the first time he does buy them something because it’s really nothing special and he found it at the tiny thrift store and it’s just a small thing. Nothing flashy or expensive, probably a bracelet with charms he thought would look nicely on them.

Nothing much because Simon is prideful and allergic to anyone taking pity on him and he would rather starve, but here it seems harmless and it’s just small things here and there. So he takes them and he proudly brings them to Reader the first time it happens.

The same way dogs/cats would bring you a small animal they caught, literally smirking with how satisfied he is. It doesn’t dawn on him until they ask that…he has no idea what to do with it. Simon doesn’t know how to cook meat — his mom usually did it. But with the way Riley-senior looms around the house he doesn’t want to bring it home.

So Reader offers to cook it at their place and later just packs it up carefully in neat containers and gives Simon the bag to bring it home to his mom and Tommy. So they can all eat without Simon’s dad finding out about the meat.

Believe it or not, he knows how to fix up cars. it had been something he'd picked up during his time in new york but is never something he'll bring up in conversation.

He won't go to bed until the early hours of the morning. does he get enough sleep? probably not, but he couldn't care less.

I also feel that part of the reason he puts off going to sleep as long as possible is because he suffers with nightmares. This boy had been through a lot and, as much as he pretends they don't affect him, some nights they really mess with his head.

He uses sarcasm and wit as a sort of defence mechanism, refusing to let anyone break down the walls he’s built up around himself.

I think, despite his tough exterior, he’s probably got a lot of emotional insecurities and fears. His childhood wasn’t perfect and he’s most likely got a lot of trauma he keeps hidden and unspoken about.

He views the gang as family and is fiercely loyal to them. Despite how much they can get on his nerves, he couldn’t imagine doing things without them.

Speaking of family... I have a feeling that Mrs. Curtis was more of a mom to Dallas than his own had ever been. She cared about him and when he heard about her death he was devastated and very lost.

When it comes to habits, I think he has quite a few that he will do without really noticing.

For example, he has a habit of drumming his fingers on surfaces or tapping his feet when he’s restless or impatient. I feel like he’s also a major nail biter and will pick at the skin on his hands until he starts bleeding. It’s not something he does on purpose, he just can’t help it.

He hates cats and I feel like he’s probably allergic to them.

I have this scenario in my head that once Johnny befriended a stray cat at the lot and when he introduced the creature to Dallas, the greaser could not stop sneezing.

Also, he’d never admit it, but they kind of scare him. When he was young, a cat scratched his hand and ever since then, he’s made a conscious effort not to go near one.

Dogs, however… He strikes me as the kind of person who loves dogs and dogs love him. If he sees one outside of a store, he will stop and pet it, no exceptions.

One time, Two-bit teased him for it and earned a pretty swift punch to the jaw.

He secretly loves old movies and makes it his sole purpose to go and see every single movie that previews down at the drive-in.

For the life of him, Dallas can’t cook.

Semi-Personal Drake Parker Headcanons

Because let's be honest, I relate too much to this slacker.

Drake cannot for the life of him tolerate spicy foods, he'll eat taki's and slather sweet chili sauce on everything but it makes his mouth burn so much. It's just too good to give up!

As much as he shovels junk food down his gullet, he is very sensitive with chocolate. Store bran chocolate makes him sick to his stomach, and chocolate cake gets him a trip to the bathroom for a few hours.

He is technically a loser. He may be popular at school, but he is only popular with the girls he is dating and a small group of friends (that includes Josh) but ultimately he is socially a loser in the eyes of the majority of the school

In middle school he was a gifted kid but when he got to high school that fizzled out and he stopped doing his homework, he deemed it unimportant because he wanted to be a musician as a career.

He's known he wanted to be a musician since he was 5

Drake considers himself to be punk, but doesn't dress much differently because to him subcultures are all about the music (he also doesn't want to get made fun of)

For a while he refused to drink Dr. Pepper cause he thought it would be spicy like black pepper, this is a secret he carries to his grave

He loves to specifically collect toys from his childhood because all his old toys were either stolen or put in a storage bin that his mother couldn't pay for anymore.

Even though his dad left, he isn't upset at him even if he wants to be. He still believes there is some good in his father.

animorphs gets a lot of shit for the covers but it really is such a wild series. the main characters graphically describe listening to their wise mentor getting eaten alive on like page 20 of the FIRST BOOK and spend the rest of the first six books trying to figure out what they're even supposed to be doing. they get traumatized by ants. an alien boy is obsessed with cinnabon and is canonically the hottest person in town and thinks a girl "wanting his body" is a threat. the amount of body horror is genuinely impressive for the length of the books. atlantis exists and they have nuclear bombs. the proud warrior race coming to save the day finally shows up and they're just as bad as the actual villains who are mind controlling people. whales are psychic and are locked in eternal war with giant squids. one of the characters is a #tallgirl blood knight who's allergic to crocodile DNA and dates a trans bird. one of the other main characters finds out his mom is alive and that she's been a fully conscious puppet of the alien hive queen equivalent for like 5 years, and she tries to kill him repeatedly. there's an entire race of robot dogs who are programmed to be pacifists, and the only battle EVER not described in gory detail is the one where one of these guys becomes violent, because the characters refuse to even think about it. god is a weird bird and the devil is a giant eyeball and they're equally willing to commit genocide because the universe is like a silly game of checkers to them. the main villain is canonically terrible at running an invasion, keeps killing all his superiors for no reason and is obsessed with cats. the words "radical" and "hip" are used so often. like where else can you get this content

[SANZU HEADCANONS]

AN: Haruchiyo being happy makes me soft <3 and Sanzu in general makes me sad :( my masterlist!

— He showers everyday without fail. In summer, he can even take 3 showers a day, because when he feels a bit sweaty, he just wants to feel clean again.

— He doesn't know how to cook. He has tried, but he can't cook. One day he was about to boil water to put the pasta in, but forgot to add the water (he was distracted!!) and the spaghetti almost burned the whole kitchen.

—Really oblivious when someone is flirting with him, but when he realizes, either he rejects them in the exact same moment, or he is fully in to take things further.

—I believe he has had some sexual encounters, but I don't picture him as a fuck boy. He just felt the need to experiment when the opportunity came and took it. I don't think his personality is based on being horny (but when he is, he makes sure to fulfils his needs quickly).

—Doesn't have a type, but he likes strong people (in the physical and in the mental sense of the word). When someone shows strengh, his eyes start darting towards them more often than not.

— He's not a drug addict (this is just my headcanon), and I do not really like when people make his personality around drugs.

— I don't think drugs made him the psychopath that we saw on the Bonten timeline. He relies on them when reality hits him after he has episodes of disassociation. Sanzu is the result of Haruchiyo being treated as a shit and developing an unhealthy obsession. Sanzu is not Haruchiyo; but Haruchiyo is sometimes Sanzu.

— Haruchiyo likes cheesecake, playing boardgames and going shopping with Senju. Sanzu luckily eats two meals a day, plays the Russian roulette and hasn't seen Senju in years.

— He doesn't like kids; but kids like him a lot. He can't bring himself to hurt or insult them, so he just ignores them if they get close to him.

— He is not shy, but he is introverted.

— Never lets anyone sleep on his bed. In fact, he never brings workmates or dates home. Well, Mikey hasn't asked for it, but Sazu would let him into his apartment without doubt.

— He is a cat person (once a dog licked his hand and he almost killed the animal and himself). He loves taking photos of cats that he finds on the street. In fact, the only photos that people can find in the gallery of his phone, are all about cats (and a few corpses). He doesn't own a cat because he start sneezing when he gets close to them, so he suspects he is allergic.

— Visits Mucho's tomb really often. He doesn't speak, just leaves a few flowers and makes sure the stone that carries his name is always clean.

— The last time he cried was when Mikey cut his mouth. When he feels sad, he just takes a few pills and goes to sleep.
