Personality
Known far and wide as the eccentric voice actor of iconic characters of varying kinds, Allen is renowned as one of the best in the entertainment industry, and very well-liked in NRC.
With his friendship with Victoria Shard and Nyx Leech, his popularity in the academy only skyrocketed, rivaling that of Vil Schoenheit. Which, frankly, led to the two of them becoming rivals.
Allen is a charismatic, easy to talk to kind of young man. Similar to Yuuta, without the obsession with money. So essentially, a charismatic dreamboat.
With his charming smile and versatile voice, Allen flawlessly captured the hearts of more than enough students in NRC. Almost to the point where he became more prominent than Vil near the end of his first year.
But alas, contrary to popular belief, Allen is far from the charismatic young man many perceive him to be.
He…. Has the habit of being incredibly secretive, outright refusing to allow anyone to get to know more than they should about him. Especially with the kind of profession he decided to take up as an actor.
Now, we also shouldn't forget that alongside his secretiveness, Allen is also protective of others to a certain degree, which soon transitions to passive aggressiveness at anyone who tries to bring harm to his friends. It's simultaneously unusually out of character for him, while also being seemingly wholesome.
And….. He can be manipulative. Not at Victoria's level, of course not, Allen isn't the type to go that far to get what he wants.
He'll only do that when it's convenient for him.
꒷︶ ̇ ̟ ෆ ‿︵‿୨♡୧‿︵‿ ෆ ̟ ̇ ︶꒷
Unique Magic: All eyes on me(私にすべての目が)
Song: All eyes on me(Or3o)
Not many people know much about the mechanics of Allen's unique magic, and frankly, it feels as though he only allowed Victoria to know how it truly works
And honestly? He makes it seem as though he doesn't have a unique magic at all
His unique magic allows him to have everyone within a certain mile radius to constantly focus their attention on him, no matter what
How long this effect lasts is unclear, as Allen refuses to elaborate further on it
However, Victoria's acknowledged that something happens to his eyes. She just can't see it herself, because Allen refuses to show off his eyes for too long

Name Meaning
Allen: Allen is a Celtic surname, originating in Ireland, and common in Scotland, Wales and England. It is a variation of the surname MacAllen and may be derived from two separate sources: Ailin, in Irish and Scottish Gaelic, means both "little rock" and "harmony", or it may also be derived from the Celtic Aluinn, which means "handsome"
Di Angelo: In Italian the meaning of the name DiAngelo is "From the angel"
Trivia
Allen never discusses his family, he always tells people that he feels as though it would've been better for him if he never had one at all
When he first arrived at NRC, he and Nyx became rivals due to the versatility of each other's voices; However they reconciled and are incredibly close nowadays
Is Vil's romantic rival because of how close he is with Nyx /j
Doesn't really hang out with her, but Allen can admit that Maria Alarik (@windbornearchon) is an... Intriguing individual and he ships her with Lance
Isn't particularly close with anyone in his own dorm, unless you count Alice(@starry-night-rose) and Maria
Cannot stand how overdramatic Trinity Valentin can get
Actually had a crush on Victoria at some point, but after getting to know her?... Yeah he still has a crush on her /j /j
Hates Nyx's brothers for the sole reason being that he doesn't like that they constantly bother him because of his relationship with her
His rivalry with Vil was unintentional, but he ended up committing to the rivalry and even started become a potential rival to Neige which makes it hilariously entertaining for Victoria
If you ask why he seemingly never opens his eyes.... He isn't gonna answer, and he might just ignore the question entirely
His hair is actually rather long, but he makes it seem short because you never see it down
He has dimples and they are adorable whenever he grins
Walton Morrigan weirds him out, especially with the mad scientist/potential serial killer gimmick he's got going on
His sunglasses are tinted in a way that you can't even see through them to look at his eyes(even though the image above makes it seem otherwise)
He likes dancing, but it isn't something he'll regularly indulge himself in
Rook refers to him as "Homme des anges déchus"
Crowley gave himself a pat on the back when he managed to enroll Allen into the academy, even sending that as a jab at Ambrose all the way in RSA

Downton Abbey' star Phyllis Logan sees 'great love' in Elsie-Carson romance
By Karen Butler
JULY 5, 2022 / 3:00 AM
1/5'Downton Abbey' star Phyllis Logan sees 'great love' in Elsie-Carson romance.
NEW YORK, July 5 (UPI) -- Phyllis Logan says her housekeeper character Elsie's new marriage to Mr. Carson is going well in Downton Abbey: A New Era, even though the snooty former butler is in the South of France with their employer for most of the movie.
"They get on each other's nerves like all married couples from time to time, but there is a great love there. She knows what a curmudgeon he can be, but, even withstanding that, she loves him," Logan told UPI in a recent Zoom interview.
"They are just settling in," she added. "It's like they've been married for years. It's all comparatively recent, their wedding, but they've known each other so well being butler and housekeeper ... and always had time for each other -- having a wee sherry and discussing the day's business, which was lovely.
"I love those scenes because it meant they could slightly take off their housekeeper and butler hats and show themselves as human beings."
Set for DVD release Tuesday, the movie is set in 1928 and finds Lord Robert Crawley (Hugh Bonneville), steward of the cash-strapped titular British estate, making the difficult decision to accept a lucrative financial offer to allow a Hollywood film production to shoot at Downton. This is much to the chagrin of most of his family, but excites the household staff.
At the same time, Robert's ailing mother, Lady Violet (Maggie Smith), inherits a villa in the South of France from a mysterious man, prompting Robert, his wife Countess Cora (Elizabeth McGovern), who has secrets of her own, their daughter, Lady Edith (Laura Carmichael), and their son-in-law, Branson (Allen Leech), to head out on holiday to inspect the new property.
That leaves Lady Mary (Michelle Dockery) and Elsie (Phyllis Logan) at Downton's helm.
To get the fussy Carson out of the way so the filmmakers may get on with their work, the women concoct a ruse and convince him that Robert desperately needs him on this trip.
Logan categorized the plot as a "bit of subterfuge."
"Lady Mary suggests it because I say Mr. Carson is going to make trouble. He's not going to countenance a film crew -- a bunch of vagabond actors who are stealing the silverware," she laughed.
"She thinks Lady Mary is going to have to get rid of him, not through homicide, of course. So, she says, 'Well, he's going to have to go to France.' That will get him out of the way," Logan added.
"Robert needs a stalwart to help go through the trauma of a holiday abroad. Carson buys that, and off he goes, leaving us to have fun with the movie stars."
Protective of the estate but not quite as steadfast as Carson is, Elsie found the film company, including fictional screen icons Guy Dexter (Dominic West) and Myran Dalgleish (Laura Haddock), to be a major disruption to the household.
But Elsie, as always, was able to rise to the occasion, stepping "into the breach to save the day" when needed, Logan said.
"In the beginning, she might seem slightly fazed by all these theatrical types just wandering about the place," she admitted.
"She was a bit overwhelmed to start with, but she quickly caught on to how to deal with these people and got quite actually interested in the making of [the film] and got quite excited along with the younger members of the staff like Anna (Joanne Froggatt) and Daisy (Sophie McShera), who were thrilled to see their idols from the magazines and movies.
"She wasn't impressed to begin with, but I think Dominic West won her over."
Logan doesn't know if there will be another Downton story to tell, but she is all in if there is one, just as long as it doesn't jump too far into the future.
"I love doing it. I love all the people. I love the character that I play. It's just one of life's great gifts that we've been given," she said.
"Some of us who are senior members of the cast, we'd probably be long dead if we leap forward too far. We could keep it to a year or a couple of years."
The actress said she is grateful to the viewers who made the franchise a global success.
"They are the most loyal bunch of fans you could ever wish for," Logan said.
"Ultimately, it's they who enabled a second film to be made because enough of them went to see [ the first] and loved it enough. The studio felt, 'Well, it's popular still, there's an appetite still, why don't we do another?'"
Logan said she is is pleased to put A New Era out in the world at a time when so many people are trying to resume some normalcy after the coronavirus pandemic.
"It is just a real joy with a touch of sadness, of course, but that's what life's about, isn't it? It is a real, feel-good, walk-out-of-the-thing-with-a-big-smile-on-your-face [movie]," she said.
Bookending A New Era are heartwarming group scenes with the whole cast turning out for one beloved character's joyous wedding and another's tearjerker of a funeral.
"It was just wonderful to kick the whole event off with that wedding when we were all there at the same time, which doesn't happen a lot within the filming," Logan said.
About that mournful sendoff at the end, she added, "You need to have a heart of stone not to be affected by that."
Logan and some of her castmates were crestfallen to read the script and see they would be staying at Downton while others headed off to France.
"We were all a bit [disappointed,] to tell the truth, but then we were having so much fun doing the stuff we were doing. Having seen it on film, it looks stunning and they all came back [from France] with raging tans," she recalled.
Not that the British cohort didn't enjoy themselves in between filming scenes. Because the movie was made during the COVID-19 pandemic, most of the cast members found themselves blissfully isolated together in posher quarters than they are used to.
"We stayed in this gorgeous hotel near the castle. Normally, it's just Maggie Smith who gets to stay in the place," Logan dished. "We were given a wing of the thing to be kept separate from the other residents or visitors. We had our own garden and dining areas. It was like going on holiday with your pals."

What Happened To Paul Prenter? The ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ Villain Had A More Complex Relationship With The Band IRL
Tumblr media
Bohemian Rhapsody largely functions as a biopic about the legendary Queen frontman Freddie Mercury, but the 2018 box office hit was also a major Hollywood motion picture. With that being the case, the film predictably takes some liberties with the truth in order to make Mercury's life story more dramatic and, well, more like a movie, and that includes the casting of a villain. That role is mainly filled by Paul Prenter (Allen Leech) in the movie, as the singer's former manager is not presented in the best light. But what happened to the real Paul Prenter? Spoilers for the movie ahead.
In real life, Prenter was a radio DJ from Belfast, Northern Ireland, who eventually met and became involved — both personally and professionally — with Mercury. It’s widely believed that Prenter first met Mercury at a bar in 1975 and then became his manager in 1977. At some point during this time, Prenter and Mercury had a sexual relationship — something Prenter later allegedly used to blackmail Mercury, who wasn't technically out of the closet at the time. Their business relationship was thought to be largely positive for about the first five years of Prenter working for Mercury, but things started to head south in 1982, according to Metro UK.
Prenter is not known to have gotten along well with any of Queen's other members, and their fractured relationship reportedly came to a head with the release of the band's 1982 album Hot Space. According to Metro UK, band members Brian May and Roger Taylor disliked the record's sound and blamed Prenter's influence for it coming out the way it did. Still, Prenter remained in Mercury's employ for several more years.
In the film, Mercury finally fires Prenter in 1985, with the main reason being that the manager failed to inform Mercury about the opportunity for Queen to perform at the now-iconic Live Aid concert. In retaliation, the jilted Prenter then gives a television interview where he outs Mercury. In reality, Prenter was fired the following year, after the Live Aid concert, according to the Belfast Telegraph. As for Prenter's most well-known “villainous” moment, he didn't actually give a TV interview outing Mercury. Instead, he sold a story to The Sun tabloid in 1987 where he revealed Mercury's sexuality and also outed the singer's relationship with Jim Hutton, much to Mercury's chagrin, according to Slate.
So the movie mixes up some facts regarding Prenter, possibly making him out to be more of a villain than he was in real life. But unfortunately for him, he won't be able to tell his side of the story. That's because Paul Prenter died in 1991 due to complications from AIDS, per The Belfast Telegraph. Coincidentally, that's the same year the disease took the life of Mercury.
In 2019, Prenter’s brothers Stephen, Gerard, and Ray spoke to The Belfast Telegraph about his portrayal in the film, which they were not fans of. “The film was like a Disney movie with all these good characters and then one villain in the shape of Paul,” said Gerard. “They would never have dared to do it had Paul been alive. It is a cowardly way of going about things. They set out to destroy his name knowing he is dead and can't answer back.”
Ray shared a similar sentiment, telling the publication: “Paul didn't have a nasty bone in his body. He was a very gentle and kind guy. The film has blackened Paul's name.”
Stephen expressed similar thoughts. However, he also denied the long-held belief that Prenter and Mercury were in a relationship — and used an outdated term to describe their sexualities. "It's ludicrous. Paul and Freddie were best friends, that is it. They went everywhere together; they went to gay clubs together,” he said. “They were both queens. They liked to chase after masculine men — that was their type. They definitely weren't into each other.”
He continued: "I heard Paul's side of the conversation, and they would gossip about the band, about men in their lives. They would laugh, but they were never lovers... I can say 100% categorically Freddie and my brother were not involved sexually in any context. Anyone who knew them knew that.”
Another part of the film that upset the siblings is the portrayal of their parents as homophobic towards Paul. “My parents knew about Paul being gay since he was 16... He'd come back on holidays with his boyfriends and stay at my parent's house in Dublin with his partners staying in the same bedroom,” added Stephen. “So there was never any issue. The only person who had an issue with being gay was Freddie. Freddie never once in his life admitted to being gay. It was an open secret, but never once did he say, ‘I’m gay,’ whereas Paul was very open about it.”
Gerard also pushed that their parents were accepting of Paul’s sexuality long before he met Mercury. "Paul had boyfriends when he started DJ-ing. He never lived in fear of our father. Both he and my mother were ordinary people and very liberal-minded, really good parents,” he said. “He ended up burying his son after he died of AIDS, so for the makers of the film to portray the family like that is a disgrace.”
As far as Prenter’s decision to out Mercury to The Sun, the brothers said he was upset that the band had fired him, leaving him unable to pay for his AIDS treatment. “Paul was very bitter. He felt they let him down, and he was hurt. He worked for them for years, and he got very little from them,” said Ray. “That was when he decided he had to get a few bob for his own treatment. So that is why he went with the papers.”
All movies need a villain, and that includes biopics. Prenter is presented as the bad guy in Bohemian Rhapsody, but having worked as Freddie Mercury's manager for nearly a decade, it's hard to believe that all of those years were as contentious as the film shows. Prenter is gone now, but his legacy lives on in the film. It just may not be the legacy he wanted.

James Olsen and Why he is a terrible character. (Anti James, in case it isn't clear).
So I've been thinking a lot about James Olsen and the reasons why I don't like him that have nothing to do with him getting in the way of Supercorp.
The truth is I haven't liked James Olsen since the first episode. He isn't James Olsen to me. I know I know they changed up the character and people often do this. But James Olsen is a canon and iconic nerd with a camera. To be honest if I didn't know who the characters were already I'd have clocked Winn as James, Winn is more James Olsen than this James is.
I disliked him almost immediately, he was basically there for a fresh start but he also took it upon himself to keep an eye on Kara. I didn't like the fact that he knew Kara's secret, something she should have control over. Imagine if she had just out right told Winn who Clark was? (OK,she and James kind of did by accident while arguing but that's beside the point).
James also instantly started flirting with Kara, probably not what Clark had in mind. Isn't there a bro code? No sisters or only living relatives?
James and Winn both acted all put out when they realized that they both knew Kara’s secret, ‘you told him?!’ Well actually Kara told Winn, she didnt tell James. Neither one has the right to feel indignant here. Kara is allowed more than one person in the know and more than one friend.
James and Winn started a pointless rivalry over who was going to get with Kara, instead of just being the friends she needed. They both even said that Kara wouldn't be into Adam since she wasn't into either one of them!!
James didn't believe that Kara could deal with issues on her own. He told her that even Clark couldn't beat Reactron, therefore there is no way Kara could. He immediately called Clark when she was fighting him, granted he was worried, but it wasnt his place to decide Kara wasn't capable. Especially when it turns out she was capable.
Then Lucy turned up, Kara discovers this by walking in on her and James. James it turns out hadn’t exactly fully broken up with Lucy. She spent time on her career while he neglected her in favor of being up Superman’s ass. She was understandably upset about this. But he decides they should give it another try! He completely forgets that he had been leading Kara on from the moment he set eyes on her. Now his ‘sort of ex’ turns up and Kara is a distant memory. Or is she? James decides that he is still going to give Kara longing looks, which isnt fair on either Kara or Lucy. Granted he doesn't want to take Lucy to game night, but he does and he spends time bonding with Lucy right in front of Kara, no regard for her feelings, and he gives her longing looks all night.
James then starts neglecting Lucy in favor of running to Supergirls side whenever she needs him. Once again doing the same thing he did that caused Lucy to leave the first time. This eventually causes Lucy to leave again, and i dont blame her. Thankfully she doesnt hate Kara for it.
I think General Lane had it right ‘You’re a glorified paparazzi’ yes, he is. That is James’s strength and he should have stuck to it. ‘You surround yourself with special people but that doesnt make YOU special’. Yes, right again General lane. James does do this, he is always surrounded by Superheroes and seems to leech off of their fame.
Remember how into Kara James was? Up until he realized that she in fact not perfect! After the Red K incident, Kara went to see James and apologize and he didnt want anything to do with her. He realized she had faults, and women apparently cant have these, so he basically gets her to leave. Ill give him kudos for not getting with her when she came onto him at the club though.
When Barry Allen turned up James was once again instantly jealous, even though he was the one who had basically rejected Kara. Kara wasn’t even into Barry, she was just excited to have a new friend with Super powers. ‘Jealousy! Thy name is Olsen’ Yes Winn, you are absolutely right! She is allowed friends James!
Season 2 James isnt much better, he has less redeeming qualities. He is instantly jealous of Mon El. He tells Kara that Mon El isnt a hero, like he gets to make that decision. He basically decides to become a hero because everyone else around him was one, Clark and Kara were super heroes, Alex and Lucy worked for the DEO, Jonn was part of the DEO and has powers, Winn even got brought in to work for the DEO, oh and Mon El was instantly welcomed to be a hero and be at the DEO. I see James becoming a ‘hero’ because he was simply feeling left out. At one point he just turns up at the DEO to see Winn. How is he getting past security? Even Jonn tells him to leave and go back to being a photographer.
James talks Winn into basically stealing materials from the DEO to make him a suit, then he gets all pissed at Winn because Winn is taking his time and he does actually have a job! He doesn't want James to get hurt with an uncompleted suit, but no, James is so demanding and yells at Winn! So desperate to be relevant.
He does in fact nearly get himself killed and Kara is understandably pissed! Yes its not up to Kara who gets to be a hero, James uses Mon El as an example here, The difference is though that Mon El had super powers and James had a tin suit and a black belt. James uses the fact that he ‘has a black belt’ as justification for him being a hero. Sorry, but who doesn't have a back belt now?  James doesnt even train, he just gets his suit and jumps straight in. Even Kara and Alex had to train! Remember how cocky Kara was and Alex kicked her ass? Alex wasnt even allowed out in the field until months of training! (Her words) But James apparently can just jump in with no issue. I really dont get why Alex didnt put a stop to this.
Anyone who says ‘well Batman, Green Arrow, White Canary etc’ can do it. Yeah but Batman was was trained by the League of Assassins, same as Sara. Oh and Oliver Queen trained and survived for years on a desert Island. He trains every day honing his skills. Do we ever see James train at all?
Then we have James being instantly against Lena. No evidence against her, just her name and the fact that she is related to Lex. He is so prejudice against her, he even vows to prove to Kara that she is guilty, even though she isnt and he doesnt get to prove this.
James is left in charge of Cat Co? Such a dumb story line, What does a photo journalist know about running a multi media empire? Honestly Kara as Cat’s assistant would know more about it that James!
When Lena saves Cat Co, James is surprised she turns up and is staying there. What did he think was going to happen? She would pay millions of dollars for a company and not care about what was going on? ‘Thanks for saving us, i was thinking of setting up weekly meetings and carrying on running Cat Co the way i want to’. Yeah, Lena kind of shot that down didn't she?! ‘Ill be here everyday’ ‘We dont even have an office for you?’ Well she is entitled to your office now James, but she didn't take it did she?. Yes Lena set up meetings without telling James, which she probably shouldn't have, but maybe she wanted to see what was going on without his influence? Even whens she asked why Kara kept running off on the first day James was rude to her and said ‘She’s a reporter its what she does!’.
Then suddenly we have an awkward flirtation. We have that awkward kiss,  then James and his creepy hand on Lena’s bare shoulder. Even she looks uncomfortable and squirms out of his grasp. He looks surprised and a little miffed she isnt allowing this. She calls Kara and James ex and he allows her to believe that, this simply isnt true. They had one date at Kara’s loft, then Mon El turned up and Kara forgot she ever liked James.
James had the gall to tell Lena he knew her better than her own best friend does! I mean What the actual f**k?!! Lena steps down when she is under suspicion, somethng James cant bring himself to do later when he is involved with he COL.
James reveals himself as Guardian, no regard for how this will effect Lena in anyway as his boss and girlfriend. He has zero respect for her as his boss. She tells him to stay the hell away from the Children of Liberty and to do the interview with Ben Lockwood. He completely disregards her and goes off to meet with some random member of an Anti Alien Nazi group. he even told her that her opinion didnt matter. No, sorry James but yes it does! If i was Lena id have sacked his ass!
Lena still saves his ass from going to prison for a long time, all the while he insists he can handle it on his own, how? I want to know how he thought he could do that? In fact he doesn't actually do anything to fix the issue. He then throws it in Lena’s face when she tells him not to go back out as Guardian because he will be arrested. Something he doesn't care about because he is so desperate to be relevant and involved. He throws the fact she worries to much and he sorted the DA problem out, forcing her to be like ‘For Gods sake! I did that you moron!’ (i know she didnt say this). He even has the gall to be pissed she saved his ass and he isnt in prison. She tells him she loves him and throws it in her face!
He decided the Children of Liberty decided to be given a voice for some bizarre reason?! He actually thought that by listening to them he could get to know them and change the minds. What a pig headed and dumb thing to think! Good intentions or not that was incredibly nieve and stupid.
He nearly killed Kara by blowing her up, something that could have been avoided altogether if he had just listened to everyone around him and stopped being friends with COL. But no, he knew best?
Lately, he told Lena he supported her, but he clearly didn't since he looked awkward as hell when he was sat up in bed with her asleep beside him. She gave him opportunity to tell her how he felt but instead of talking to her, he placated her and went back to bed with her!
Last episode, he told Lena their relationship was basically over if she went ahead and took the government contact. Simply because he didn't agree he was willing to end them. It's not like she was about to so something evil! But she has to live up to his impossible standards. The poor girl can't win. I'd of ended it with him to. Again, James's opinion on these things aren't really relevant, he can disagree yes, he can have an opinion. But anything he says doesn't matter, he isn't part of the DEO, he isn't a member of the government. He isn't even Guardian anymore because he's not allowed to be. All he is is a CEO of a magazine. He doesn't get a say. This is very like when he gave up on Kara for a while when she suddenly had faults and she wasn't what he envisioned. Same as Lucy, she doesn't give him the power and eveything he wants and suddenly it's over.
James should have continued to be a photographer and stuck to that. He's at his best when taking pictures. He believes he deserves to be a hero, it's 'his calling'. No it isn't, do you think it would be his 'calling' if he wasnt associated with actual heroes? Of course not. All I see a jealous, immature guy who sees those around him being heroes and being relevant to the defence of the world and he feels the need to be part of it. He could have been a different type of hero with his camera. Once he got some authority he suddenly became even more arrogant and had a sense of self entitliment. He dated his boss and suddenly thought he didn't have to listen to her. He could act on his own accord. Not one thought to what Cat Co's CEO'S affiliation with an Anti Alien Terrorist Group would do his girlfriends reputation. Poor Lena who has gone out of her way to distance herself from anti alien sentiment, James used her company for his own self gain. Then he got pissed at her when she tried to protect him, all the while thinking of him, maybe she was thinking of protecting her company to. He doesn't think of her even once. He actually pushes her so far she had to pull rank on him. Something he still had the arrogance to ignore. It's all about James and what James wants.
James is a fool who thinks he should be a hero. He wants women to be exactly what he expects them to be. If they do things he doesn't approve of he suddenly loses interest .
James should either leave, go back to Metropolis or go back to being the photographer he should be.
FYI, James does have good qualities, but they doesn't outweigh his bad ones.
