I'm obsessed with the way the lighting is here, I made a couple other gifs but this one is the longest to try to get the feeling of how the light plays across Vessel but honestly please go watch the video to get the full effect (or at least as full of an effect as we can, not getting to see it live)

Lucy watched as the man she married became increasingly absorbed in his job. She was drowning in responsibilities too, but she knew deep down that letting work dictate their lives was detrimental in the long run. She decided it was time to voice out her concerns. "Fuck it," she thought, and broached the topic of taking a day off together, maybe she'd finally get the picnic she's been chasing.
To her relief, Keith agreed, though he would only be able to take a half day off. Fine, she'd take her victories where she can. She could see it all—a sunny afternoon, a red and white blanket, basket filled to the brim, the two of them playfully pointing out shapes in clouds. It would be the perfect day. Except it wasn't.
Come the day of it and all Lucy got was disappointment. Keith was stuck in a very important meeting and wouldn't be able to take even half a day off. Her heart sank, she'd been so excited. But alas, work had once again claimed priority.
What could be more important than making your wife happy!?

i remember the first time ever i listened to SO i was like pfft rap? get out. (i was cringe) and then when i gave it a listen again a few months later i was a changed person... so i binge listened to their entire discography immediately and was genuinely shocked because how could ALL of their songs be bangers, like i couldn't believe it was possible it was surreal........ i wish i could turn back time (lol) to experience that pure shock again
#and the funny thing is i was in denial abt liking them for some time#i couldnt afford a new hyperfixation in that specific year#and i remember thinking to myself 'lol their music might be good but they're probably ugly its okay i wont like them'#(I WAS A TEENAGER SORRY FOR MY MENTALITY)#so i searched them up on pinterest and guess what i saw. the blurryface photoshoot#i kind of glitched and realized i was fucked#but i still tried to deny it and avoided looking at their pictures for days#but i eventually gave in and looked up videos and interviews and random facts about them#i was like SO stressed out abt this like i would get in trouble if someone found out i like them ahjdkdl#mind u in my country hardly anyone knows who they are#i made peace tho and then i fully embraced becoming a clikkie#technically im a hiatus clikkie#and one of the biggest concerns in my life then was the question of 'ARE THEY RETIRING WHY ARE THEY GONE'#idk looking back its so funny#this was in 2017#OH and one more thing#i was born and raised a christian and still was at that point (now i am not)#and all my life my mom would heavily censor stuff that would come across as 'devilish' or even mildly offensive to the christian religion#yknow even harry potter#so i had this irrational fear/anxiety abt stuff like that wired in my brain as well#so when i saw the hds live vid on youtube (the official one with a ton of views)#i got sincerely worried they might be some kind of devil worshippers or something 💀#them having a song called heathens did NOT help#off i went to google their religion and... the relief i felt when i found out they were christian lol#btw my mom did freak out over heathens when she found out 💀💀#i wont go into detail but she did give me trauma when she learned about the dema storyline too............#i still dont play lore videos when she's in the room 🥲🥲 thats why im lowkey jealous of clikkies with clikkie parents#okay story times over lol#tøp#nemotakeit

#everybody's always on about miyazaki and poison swamps what about miyazaki and him making us platform off the narrowest of ledges#anyways this is where that levitating coffin from yesterday brought me#other things that happened today:#tracked down all the night cavalry and death bird fights i'd missed for some easy runes#and then lost most of them right here because there's a glitch that sometimes happens when you drop onto a branch slightly off center#that makes the game act like you just jumped off a ten story building and kills you instantly#fought the big boss crucible knight with the name i can't remember (-fuck- that gold dagger) and got the crucible armour set#fought preceptor miriam again and mr. boing boing beach ball after her and then went up the thing and found [redacted]#i finally got my somber smithing stone 7#already had an eight and a nine so now all i need is an ancient dragon one to peak off my dear bloodhound's fang#fought the “baleful shadow” which looked ominously like [redacted] which is probably foreshadowing#:(#and I finally got some manageable champions in the big jar challenge so now i can wear (most of) radahn's armor#now i'm just gonna finish off this place#tomorrow i think i'll try to round out ranni's quests#i.e. continue into the lake of rot#somehow#yay#ølden ring

#ruin spoilers#i don't dislike it in ruin! i think it works fine for what it is#like yea it's ABRUPT but fnaf has never been know for its stellar storytelling has it lmao#my conclusion is really just 'fuck it there can be two horrible entities down there'#i still do not like glitch/burn as mimic bc it is just a Bad Writing Choice to me#i'm okay with its presence what i'm annoyed by is using it to fuck with all the details in sb#also as uh.. lol the dlc is glitching
i'm not about to complain, though, bc it meant that after every non-water type move that the reuniclus used on my vaporeon, her water absorb ability triggered and she gained hp lololol
#also not a glitch but something i love is just how much befriending your pokemon changes things#well this might've been a glitch but chien-pao withstood TWO heat waves with ONE HIT POINT just for me 🥺#and since the dlc is all duo battles i was like fuck i'm gonna have to have ariel my vaporeon Surf#even though chamaco my skeledirge is also on the battlefield bc i HAVE to eliminate these two while she's terastallized#and CHAMACO quote AVOIDED THE MOVE IN TIME VIA [my] SHOUT#and i was just like overcome w emotion it's so cute#he was a good boy and he knew that ariel didn't wanna hurt him and to look out for her surf#bc she had to take out the opposition to save him and the rest of the team#bc chien-pao had just fainted from their joint heat waves and ariel was the only one who could take it#i mean jackie jr (the mudsdale) could've too but then both she and chamaco are weak to water#so really the surf was gonna get someone and chamaco said NO IT'S NOT I TRUST YOU! and he avoided it 🥺#also still can't get over how chien-pao took three heat waves before fainting simply because they toughed it out for me#and the number of times they've all shaken off status effects through sheer force of will? amazing#i love this mechanic in the game it makes me so fucking happy#they are all my lil guys and i love them#ALSO i've been having to clean out my boxes to be able to fill up my pokedex in the new region!#and this whole time i've been like who from my original team am i missing? i can't remember!#I FOUND THEM IT WAS NIEVE THE ABOMASNOW HIDDEN IN BOX 35!!!
