I'm going to be honest: I think one of the ways you fix season 2 is by getting rid of Warwick

Act 2 was more or less entirely dedicated to Warwick, a new character who really isn't that new bc he's actually Vander from s1. Despite the fact that he plays a heavy role in the act, his character isn't explored at all. Warwick is used in act 2 for the main purpose of reuniting Jinx and Vi. The sisters end up basically ignoring all their problems and differences and become family again solely due to Warwick's presence. If you get rid of Warwick, then the sisters don't reunite. They either stay on opposing sides or they end up reconciling later in the show, most likely due to them developing some sort of understanding for the other and by actually exploring their baggage.

Warwick is tied to Singed in this season, and through him and Viktor he's tied to Ambessa. Half of the plot in act 2 is Ambessa trying to find Warwick by using Singed to turn Warwick into the ultimate weapon. This part of the show was kinda weird and it definitely took away from the plot. If you get rid of Warwick you can actually focus on ambessa and her motives, or on ambessa and Caitlyn since their relationship is established but not developed.

The sisters end up bringing Warwick to Viktor's commune, which is how Viktor gets reintroduced to the story after not being seen for several episodes. Viktor decides to attempt to heal Warwick, but it isn't said why. We learn that Viktor's powers are suffering and that the commune isn't all that it seems, but we never get to learn anything further bc this segment isn't focused on Viktor- it's focused on Warwick. If you get rid of Warwick, you could actually focus on Viktor, his powers, his commune, his relationship with sky and the hexcore, and his motives.

At the start of act 2, we see that Vi is in a really bad place. She's fighting a lot, getting wasted, and isn't taking care of herself. We see that she has a friendship with Loris as well. However, we're not able to explore Vi's friendship or her current situation or her character bc shortly after Jinx asks Vi to help her with Warwick. If Warwick is gone then you can actually focus on Vi as a character and unpack all the shit the show has built up.

At the start of act 2, we see there's a lot of unrest in zaun. We see zaunites starting to band together and view Jinx as a symbol. This is a really cool concept that isn't explored because instead of Jinx spending the act with other zaunites, she spends it with Warwick. If Warwick is gone then we could actually explore the current politics between zaun and piltover and the effects they have.

It really doesn't make sense to have Warwick be the center of the act when he's not a main character. Hell, he isn't a character at all. He's a plot device. Literally almost everything that happens in act 2 is somehow related to him, yet he has no arch in the season. Everything he does just adds to the plot, not to the value of the story. We end up getting the most random piece of lore dropped in the middle of the season because of him. Lore that literally wasn't relevant at all to what was going on in the show and was never brought up again. I understand that season 1 hinted at Warwick being Vander but if it were up to me I'd be prioritizing the other, much more important shit that s1 set up. Not fucking Warwick. Especially since he's just Vander, an excellent character that we were done with at the start of the first season. There's no reason for him to be back. Since act two is so centered on him, the other acts had to condense and become jammed packed full of shit. But if you get rid of Warwick, you give the story space to breathe. You could have things stretched out longer and in more detail because now you have the time to! You can go into the gray and Caitlyn's dictator arc in detail because now you don't have to worry about wrapping it up before Warwick shows up.

Warwick was literally so big in the show that he took away time and development from literally every character, but especially mel, jayce, ekko, heimerdinger, and Viktor, who were rarely seen this season despite being key players from season 1. If Warwick was gone, you could actually show what happened to ekko, Jayce, and heimerdinger before act 3. You could give ekko some much needed depth and screen time. You could actually explain the black rose, which is never explained throughout the entirety of the show. You could have had Ambessa's backstory be in the show and not its own separate music video. You could have showed Mel more. If Warwick was gone, you could actually explore the characters of Caitlyn and Vi and their relationship. You could explore Sevika's character, who got pushed to the side despite her promising start. You could explore Isha as a character. You could explore lest as a character, who was introduced and then completely forgotten. You could have expanded on the chem barons instead of glossing over them.

In general, if Warwick isn't around you just have more time to do more shit. Like holy shit this is actually crazy.

The cameras rolled, the lighting turning into soft hues, and the familiar hum of the Variety studio filled the air. You and Evan were sitting side by side on the plush gray couch, legs casually touching, both of you all dressed up in coordinated tones—Evan in a soft navy sweater, while you were dressed in a cream colored blouse tucked in high waisted white loose wide legged pants.

It had been years since you two had done a sit down interview together, and the moment felt surreal. You were back together on screen, after WandaVision, after a time off from co-starring, and now, you are back again for a new limited series, and fans were already buzzing.

“So, this is a reunion of sorts,” the interviewer said, smiling as she looked between the two of you. “You’re both starring in a series again after many years, how did it feel working together again?”

Evan let out a soft chuckle and glanced your way, that familiar twinkle in his eyes. “It felt like coming home,” he said, voice gentle. “We’ve worked together so many times that it’s honestly second nature by now.”

You laughed, nodding. “It really was. It’s funny, we hadn't acted opposite each other since WandaVision, and even though it was just an episode or two together, that dynamic just clicked again.”

“Right,” the interviewer leaned in, clearly intrigued. “You and Evan play Quicksilver and Crystal—his wife, respectively. Fans loved that little arc.”

“That was a fun one,” you smiled fondly. “I remember when we got the call that Evan would be joining, I was already on set, and I literally texted him, ‘guess we’re married again.’”

“She didn't even say hi or hello,” Evan grinned. “Just straight out sent me a silly selfie of her in costume with the caption ‘Mrs. Maximoff, reporting for duty.’”

The room burst into laughter. “Okay, but let’s talk about something that’s become a running joke on the internet,” the interviewer said, tapping her notepad. “That Evan only says yes to roles if you're in them.”

You raised your brows, trying to suppress your smile. “Oh my god, that joke started years ago.”

Evan nodded in agreement. “It did, I think it was during AHS: Coven?”

“Yeah,” you said, “basically someone on set noticed that every season of American Horror Story we did, Evan was always my love interest. Every single one, even when it didn't make narrative sense, somehow, our characters always end up being entangled.”

“I think it also became a challenge for the writers,” Evan added. “Like, ‘how can we get these two together again without repeating themselves?’”

“And one day, it became a whole joke with the crew,” you said, laughing. “They were like, ‘oh, Evan’s only here because she’s in it.’ and I always denied it, but then I started looking back, it was kind of true, actually.”

Evan chuckled. “Hey, what can I say? I like working with you.”

You nudged him gently. “Well, you decided to marry me. I hope you do.”

What you said had caught the interviewer completely off guard. “Wait, you two are married?”

You and Evan burst into laughter again, and nodded. “Yeah, we are. Ten years now.”

“And you have—?”

“Twins,” Evan said, practically glowing. “Boy and girl, they’re nine. Total troublemakers.”

“Oh my god,” the interviewer breathed, clearly reeling. “How have you kept this all under the wraps?”

You shrugged with a soft laugh. “We never really tried to hide it, we just don’t post about it. People still assumed that we were still dating,” you raised your hand, showing your hand where the wedding band was. “Surprise folks, we’re married!”

“I think fans were too distracted by whatever show we were doing together to stop and think, ‘wait a minute, why are they always together?’” Evan joked.

“It kind of started as a joke too,” you said, giggling softly as you remembered the memory. “I remember when I did The Princess Diaries back in, like, 2005, and Evan was already doing some TV work—Phil of the Future. He was just so cute, and jokingly put out the idea with my agent if Evan could be casted as Mia’s love interest.”

The interview blinked. “No way!”

“I was nineteen, it was a crush!” you giggled. “I thought, ‘he has pretty eyes, he’s perfect in being my on-screen partner.’ and then years later, here we are. American Horror Story, WandaVision. He’s casted as my love interest again. And again, and again.”

Evan smiled at you while you explained, and then looked at the camera. “She manifested the hell out of me.”

You giggled softly, throwing back your head slightly. “I guess I unconsciously did,” you smiled. “I mean, I didn't get him in The Princess Diaries, but I got him in everything else after that. Including real life, so it’s a win-win situation?”

He reached over and took your hand gently, intertwining his fingers with yours. “One thing’s for sure, I love being her love interest, on-screen or off.”

The interviewer smiled. “So, being married for a decade, twins—that’s a lot of history. What’s it like working together again after building a life off-screen?”

Evan looked over at you, gaze fond and warm. “It’s the best. We know how each other ticks, I know what kind of coffee to bring her on set, and she definitely knows how to calm me down when I get too lost in my mind.”

“It’s true,” you smiled softly at him. “We’re each other’s comfort zone, so coming back to work together feels like home.”

Evan put an arm around you, then pulled you gently towards him, giving you a kiss on the temple.

Okay. So after my meltdown in the other thread (hi), I stayed up literally all night rewatching interviews, AHS episodes, press junkets, etc. everyone take a seat, I’ve been running only on caffeine and I have CRACKED THE TIMELINE.

Yes, I’m unwell. Yes, I regret nothing.

2005: She mentioned she wanted Evan to play her love interest for The Princess Diaries all because girlie had watched him on Phil of the Future and found him cute. That’s not a wish, that’s a mf SPELL. A SUMMONING CIRCLE. Sis was POWERFUL even back then.

2011: They met on the set of AHS murder house, and have you SEEN how bro looks at her in that season??? No one, and I mean no one acts that well unless they’re in love or in debt, and honey, Evan Peters ain’t broke. ++++ multiple cast members say in behind the scenes clips that “they’re glued to each other” between takes.

2012: They confirmed that they were already dating. (Hallelujer!)

2013-2016: She disappears from public press tours, bro’s grinning so much in interviews, she has a ring. THEY GOT MARRIED. I don’t need no certificate, I have vibes. 2025: Variety Exclusive Interview. Fav year. The year we got what we all been praying for. Casually dropping the “we’ve been married for a decade” like it’s not the cultural reset of the century. Mom and dad said it like “yeah we ordered takeout,” NOT “we set the whole internet on fire.”

In conclusion, they’ve been love interests in every project they did (mainly AHS), been married with twins, and now the timeline is SECURE. THEY ARE EACH OTHER’S ROMANTIC ENDGAME IN EVERY UNIVERSE.

Not the same anon, but I would be extremely interested in more book recs for fantasy/sci-fi that contain queer romance on the side. Cozy, romance-heavy novels aren't really my jam either, but I do enjoy a romantic subplot in an otherwise non-romantic, intriguing main story.

Sure! This is going to have a bunch of stuff I've almost certainly talked about before because I am on an ongoing quest to read more regularly and don't read as much as I'd like.

If you haven't heard about The Locked Tomb (Tamsyn Muir) somehow, I personally recommend it. It is queer, and there are necromancers and at least some of said necromancers are lesbian and sometimes in space but also it's about resentment, grief, failure, and impossible expectations. I also know the meme-y language in parts puts some people off but I don't mind it, and the later two books have far less of it. Anyway moving on the rest is literally just "stuff from my Goodreads (not sharing, it is under my real-ass name) with a brief note about it." Also I have read the first two books of Dungeon Meshi but getting them out one by one from the library as the series blew up proved tedious so I am stalled out at the moment, but I am aware it gets gay.

Also a couple not SF books that are queer and I still recommend: And Then the Gray Heaven by R. E. Katz is about the surviving half of a nb couple in Florida on a road trip to scatter the ashes of their deceased partner, who worked on museum dioramas. It's short and it's a great read for people like me, who love works about grief and the juxtaposition of humor and absurdity with it, everyone go read it. I also read Fried Green Tomatoes by Fannie Flagg for the first time last year, somehow? Go read that too. I did not try the recipes for myself but I do recommend you obtain fried green tomatoes the food in some form although probably wait until May or June when they're in season. Finally, I've read the first two books of the Amberlough Dossier by Lara Elena Donnelly which are alternate universe vaguely Weimar inspired but not explicitly fantasy; major gay characters; I need to read the third and it is on a long list of "I've read the first X books of this series and need to finish it bc I liked it." Amberlough especially was incredible imo if uh, a little real at the Present Political Moment.

Queer speculative fiction books:

Freya Marske's The Last Binding trilogy. Edwardian England where there are magic users; cool leyline stuff; each book follows a different interconnected queer couple (first and last books are M/M, middle book is F/F). These are properly romantasy and the sex is explicit, which I am okay with but if you're not be aware, but also there's a lot of plot going on. I had a great time with these and read all three back to back pretty quickly.

Godkiller by Hannah Kaner is book one of a series and I enjoyed it but haven't gotten to the next one (it is on my list); main character is a bisexual woman and hooks up with women, though the main romance is M/F, at least in this book. Also fun if you like books with interesting takes on divinity and killing god.

The Woods All Black by Lee Mandolo - Transmasc Appalachian gothic horror set in the 1920s.

The Daevabad Trilogy and The Adventures of Amina Al-Sirafi by S.A. Chakraborty have incidental but thoughtfully portrayed queer romance among some secondary characters but more crucially the clerk of an indie bookstore I love dearly shouted across the store for 5 minutes about how good the latter was and she was right; also, again, not primarily queer but yes primarily mythology of the SWANA region if you would like to shake up the very European/American skew of much of the rest of this.

Starless by Jacqueline Carey. Jacqueline Carey is better known for the Kushiel books, in which she is horny and into Divinely Inspired BDSM on main, and you know what they are super Of Their Time (2001) but they fucking rule and you should read those too. Starless is standalone, in a different world, with a transmasc protagonist and a thoughtful take on disability in fantasy and one of my favorite books I've read in the past few years. The three first books about Phèdre nó Delaunay (starting with Kushiel's Dart) are about a bisexual courtesan in vaguely renaissance alternate universe Europe and I enjoyed them and while the main romance is M/F, the protagonist is, again, a courtesan with partners of various genders.

Lina Rather's Our Lady of Endless Worlds books are novellas and have F/F romance in them; they are about nuns in space and are generally very thoughtful and subtle sci fi.

I've recommended A Memory Called Empire/A Desolation Called Peace by Arkady Martine multiple times and I'll do it again, the first book especially; incredibly well done political science fiction with a focus on cultural exchange and a side of F/F romance; beautifully written.

Terra Ignota series by Ada Palmer, also incredibly done political science fiction (this set on Earth a few centuries from now), some queer romance but also this series does absolutely incredible stuff re: discussion of gender, also wonderfully written, has stuck in my mind since I read it and I want to purchase the books (I am a library-goer due to Have A Lot of Books In A 1 BR Condo situation but I want to have these on hand).

Winter Tide and Deep Roots by Ruthanna Emrys; Lovecraft-inspired but with fascinating commentary on the Japanese internment camps of WWII; set in the late 40s/early 50s in the US, some queer side romances (both gay and lesbian).

Machineries of Empire trilogy by Yoon Ha Lee. It's been a couple years and I recall loving these but also they are DENSE and at times, confusing (positive). Military SF, does not hold your hand (I legit would have to look up the plot but I DID enjoy myself, I do remember that), many queer characters, author is a trans man.

Cannot recall if the Southern Reach Trilogy is textually queer? you should still read it, queer people love this book about the fucked up nature place. I haven't read Absolution yet so do not @ me.

Finally, a couple books I didn't super care for but I know have some degree of following that maybe you will like, idk your life:

Light From Uncommon Stars by Ryka Aoki. Main character is a trans woman violin prodigy; there are aliens and a pact with the devil involved; the problem is the plot is kind of eh and a lot of characters are very one note Good or Evil in a way I found not very interesting.

The Traitor Baru Cormorant by Seth Dickinson. This book has an incredible premise, and the writing style is so goddamn dry and cold and fails to give any characters any interiority such that I felt like I was reading the phone book. I literally wish someone who was good at writing had come up with the same idea; I am mad at how poorly this awesome concept (girl ripped from her queer family by homophobic colonists, decides to rise to prominence politically particularly through economics in order to eventually overthrow the government) was executed. anyway Baru is a lesbian and again I want to be clear I have a HIGH tolerance for fantasy/sf with mid prose, but this is uniquely dead on arrival in terms of writing style.

hello hello 👋 i knew i wanted to do a longer post about paul's hair but i wasn't sure what to do... at first, i wanted to make compilations of just his different kinds of hair; like how it's sometimes super curly and sometimes flat, how it looks when wet and from behind & the side and so on. but then i decided to instead do one collage per round in the f3 championship (+ abu dhabi and one extra)(and some gifs... scroll all the way down, you won't be disappointed) !!!

the main conclusion that i came to when making this was that he's got soo MUCH hair? it's so thick?? poor boy must be sweating so much during the summer :( disclaimer: this all comes from someone who 1. has 0 experience with curls (my hair is as flat as a wall), and 2. has no knowledge of how boy hair works. or anyone else's hair for that matter, i only know my own hair. anyways...

bahrain was a very cute round. paul's first f3 points in the first race was very comforting, and the curls he showed off were just as heartwarming 🤭 very messy hair this round, the curls were everywhere. but they also looked super pretty, like in the last pic (where i purposefully cut out his abs because. this is a hair post, not a thirst post… i would've gotten too distracted if i hadn't).

a lot to uncover here. first row = macau (except for top right which was abu dhabi, but wearing his macau shirt…). very messy curls but not too long? very cute. and i would guess that it's karl's hairband-thing because that's like the only time i've seen paul wear it but i see karl wearing it all the time. either way, it must feel nice for him to finally have all that hair out of his face, finally he can see properly 😭

second row = vacation hair!! the horse riding hair, very cute and so long in the front, curls in his eyes definitely. the wet hair is so so flat, can imagine it just feels good to cool it down in the hot summer too. and the mirror selfie, very short post-spa but very very curly!!

third row = gala/ceremony hair + his vacation with ralf. a lot calmer, especially the 2nd pic (!!! so flat, but the little curls in the tips…. adorable). idk it just looks pretty styled like that.

I had another weird dream (to the surprise of no one)

Spoiler warning for the season four finale of Dexter

Ok so I was Peter griffin and I was going to the Grammys with Bruce Wayne but I was specifically Peter wearing this outfit

And i walked down the runway with him doing the classic model pose and the both hands on hips supa sassy pose

And the dream just hard cuts to me (irl ver not Peter) and Bruce Wayne in bed together but I’m in a tank top and boxers and he’s in just his boxers and one of the brothers from super natural is watching us (googles rq bc I’ve never seen that show) Dean (apparently) is watching us (we are literally just laying in bed together no hanky panky) and tells us Dexter Morgan tried to kill us but he saved us (which for those that don’t know the context of the show is incredibly ironic, cause he only kills people who are murderers, and Batman is famously pretty anti-killing people)

But then I start getting really embarrassed because it is at that point that in the dream universe I have an epiphany that Bruce Wayne is Batman and irl I have a Batman tattoo on my right shoulder and so I was trying to cover that up because I was kind of embarrassed about it, and then Dean straight up pointed it out (the jerk) I shot him a dirty look and then Bruce Wayne noticed it, and just randomly kissed the tattoo and said he thought it was beautiful (not that I mind getting kissed by Batman, That’s my life goal, but that was kind of weird)

Then Dexter busts down the door and says that the real reason he tried to kidnap us is because he’s in love with me (???) and he just needs someone else in his life after everything happened with Rita (Rita was his wife who was killed by a serial killer for context)

When I of course, don’t take kindly to him, trying to replace his dead wife with me because what the hell?!?!

I leave with Bruce Wayne at this point and something else happens, but I can’t remember for the life of me.

Next thing I remember, I am now my Phineas and Ferb OC for some reason

and Santa Claus is yelling at me. He’s telling me that I’m a bad person for rejecting Dexter even though I was already dating Bruce. Bc Dexter needs a wife and someone to help him raise his kids and because his wife died for some reason that’s my responsibility. I of course defend myself because this is some bullshit. Then Santa goes “You know what fine! Here’s your Christmas gift!” And he gives me a catnap plush (for context,a character from Poppy’s playtime that the plush admits a red gas and gives you terrible nightmares)

So I fall asleep in proceed to dream (within my dream) that I’m Rarity from My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic. I’m standing at the center of town and all of a sudden I start hearing really ominous beeping so I try to run back to my boutique (which is now in the middle of town next to a bunch of other buildings instead of separated like in the actual show, it’s next to twilight library for some reason) I barely make it inside and there’s a massive explosion and now I’m lying on the floor bloody missing a leg my hair curl soaked in blood stuck on my eye, so I can barely see. it’s terrible. The first thing I do because I’m Rarity is, of course to try to crawl searching for Sweetie Belle (Rarity’s little sister) as I’m laying in the shattered boutique, crawling, trying to find Sweetie Belle. I look out the door, which is hanging off at hinges, to see a Twilight Sparkle that looks like she got the Sonic.EXC treatment. She has eyes that are mostly black with small dots of glowing red, her colors are dull she looks more gray, her wings have been blown off. Apparently there’s just stitch marks where her wings should be.

She kinda looks like this fan version from Celestia’s Folly but if she had the Sonic.EXC eyes

And then, as I see Twilight walk out of frame, mumbling to herself about something I can’t quite make out, but I can certainly tell is not good. I finally see Sweetie Belle, she has the same dead eyes and faded color palette as Twilight, but I’m so happy to see her I don’t even notice right away. I cry out, having collapsed out of relief knowing she’s ok “Sweetie Belle I’m so glad you’re ok! Please help me I can barely move” and sweet adorable innocent Sweetie Belle looks at me with her cold dead eyes, with no pity or worry or fear in them and says “no” in cold sinister robot voice. Nothing like Sweetie Bot. She walks away, lost to me forever as I die.

It’s at this point I woke up and I’m eternally grateful my mind had the courtesy to put me in the place of Rarity with Sweetie Belle instead of doing that with my actual self and my younger brother.

Bc this was a silly goofy dream, that would have been a nightmare.

hey! i saw that you were interested in fashion and styling and kibbe and i was wondering if you have thoughts on soobin and yeonjun switching outfits for the act sweet mirage finale soundcheck? i thought it was super interesting how the same outfits ended up having a completely different vibe when worn on different people! (this is all in good fun ofc, no shade to either member and they were such good sports for doing the switch)

Hi! omg thanks so much for this question!! I thought it was really cute and silly of them to switch entire outfits when they said they’d be styling each other for soundcheck. it’s so TXT 😂

As for the difference in vibes despite them wearing the exact same outfit, if we’re going by particular styling systems then Seasonal Color analysis and Kibbe typing come into play!

I just wanna preface this by saying that I while I do have an interest in Kibbe typing and styling as a whole but I’m not entirely sure what their Kibbe types are. I had some initial thoughts about sookai’s Kibbe types a few months back but haven’t really done a full-on analysis for any of them (though I’d really like to!! 🙈)

While I’m leaning towards Soft Dramatic (vertical + curve) for Soobin, I can’t pin down Yeonjun’s Kibbe type. But he might be a very slim Flamboyant Natural (vertical + width) in my eyes. Will try to expound on this a little bit later!

With all that aside, let’s try to break down their looks below the cut! Be forewarned that it's going to be lengthy bc of all the photos and side discussions 😅

I'm already seeing how differently the pieces fall on each of them. Yeonjun's original outfit appears to fall more smoothly on his body, whereas on Soobin, the fabric appears to bunch up and gather around his midsection more. This could potentially be due to Soobin being taller/having a longer torso so the blue-gray button down ends higher on his body than it does on Yeonjun.

While they both have slim waists, I think Yeonjun being short waisted/having longer legs and Soobin having a fuller 🍑, also contributes to how differently the fabric falls on them, despite both being tall and slim.

With Soobin being the taller of the two, you would think that he could wear all the fabric with no problem, but seeing these photos side by side, he seems to be a little overwhelmed by Yeonjun's outfit.

This, I believe is where their Kibbe types come into play. As mentioned earlier, I suspect Yeonjun could be an FN, and Soobin is a potential SD.

Flamboyant Naturals or FNs are considered to be frame-dominant. This allows them to wear flowing, unstructured pieces without being swallowed by all the fabric, as their body structure is able to provide... well, the structure that would showcase the pieces clearly. This is partially why FN models ruled the catwalks during the 90s -- their body structure allowed for you to focus on the clothing, rather than the body, leading to the "human hanger" moniker that supermodels were given around that time.

Going back to Yeonjun, their recent content (particularly the abundance of sleeveless Yeonjun appearances we've had this year) made me realize just how broad he is, despite being so slim. Just look at how the fleece jacket fits on him (suspected Flamboyant Natural) versus Beomgyu (suspected Soft Classic)!

Or compare how Yeonjun's top falls on his body, particularly the shoulders, versus that of Soobin in a Tinnitus stage.

(Side note: the GBGB/Tinnitus/DBTW stage also really highlights their different frames, given the rather simple cuts and fabrics for their costumes. It's a helpful reference for kibbe typing imo, along with their encore outfits as they usually wear the same pieces)

Going back to the outfit swap, I think the elements of Yeonjun's original outfit work well on him as he has the vertical and the width to pull off the long layers and the looser fitting fabrics. Denim is also a popular material for Naturals as it has some structure but is not overly stiff. The distressed details also add to that rawness that Naturals can pull off well.

That same outfit on Soobin, on the other hand, doesn't look quite as harmonious, as Soft Dramatics tend to shine more in pieces that accommodate their vertical and curve. The flannel shirt being under the long top just made him look wider on the bottom versus if it were acting like an external belt that could have defined his waist. Coupled with the baggy distressed jeans, it just made him look rather unbalanced and visually weighs him down.

Accessories also play a role in the different vibes we get from the outfit swap. Yeonjun's piercings help to tie in the grunge styling. If Soobin wore Yeonjun's outfit with a few more accessories (maybe adding pins to the beanie or some jewelry, idk), it could look more like a complete outfit for him bc from the waist up, he looks a little plain, IMO, and that does nothing for a Soft Dramatic like him!!

Soobin's original outfit suits him better as a Soft Dramatic as it honors his vertical (monochrome palette, long pieces) and curve (large collar and the leather coupled with a textured trim adds visual interest or "drama" that he can pull off).

Consider how different Soobin and Taehyun's vibes are despite having similar outfits on. Soobin's jacket looks visually "fuller" (fabric has a heavier visual weight compared to Taehyun's) but it does not overwhelm him as he has the build for it. It also ends by his waist (compared to midhip for Taehyun) which helps to draw the eye in to his curves -- again honoring his Soft Dramatic lines.

Black is also well within Soobin's color palette as a Winter type so the look is very cohesive overall! (Lighter grays/blues, like Yeonjun's shirt, aren't as flattering on Soobin as these could make him appear a little washed out or dull)

Soobin's outfit on Yeonjun still works as he has the vertical and the frame to pull it off. IMO however, the jacket looks a tad oversized on Yeonjun which contributes to the more "relaxed" vibe on him versus on Soobin (where it is a closer fit to the body) and makes him look more.. dominating(?) in a sense.

When Yeonjun took off the jacket, people somehow went crazier 😂 And I get why! The shirt showcases his build, rather than being covered up by a visually bulky jacket.

By removing the jacket too, it allowed for more focus on his face. I think Yeonjun might be a Summer type so black would take away from his features. Lighter colors are more flattering for him (another factor in why his original outfit doesn't seem to be so overwhelming on him) but he and the rest of TXT are all ridiculously good looking, it's hard to make them look unattractive 😂 I'm still a bigger fan of their orig outfits though 🙈

TL;DR: Yeonbin's original soundcheck outfits honor their Kibbe types and personal colors more than when they switched but since they're both tall, broad (but in different ways!), and just stupidly handsome, the outfit switches still kinda work bc they have elements that work to their Kibbe types.

Season Finale

Sick and tired of reading about people say that Dazai knowing about the plan beforehand somehow takes away from the genuineness of the skk moments

You mean you WANT Dazai to choose to kill Chuuya for the greater good and then not give a shit immediately after?? Ignoring the speech for a second, the reason he was able to be so carefree after “killing” Chuuya is because he KNEW Chuuya was gonna be okay.

First of all, Dazai knowing Chuuya wasn’t gonna die doesn’t take away from his speech. He replayed all those memories for himself, nobody else was seeing what was happening in his head. He was GENUINELY upset at the idea of losing Chuuya and having to put Chuuya through that, DESPITE knowing Chuuya would be okay. He was STILL upset. That’s way better than him thinking he just killed Chuuya, sparing him a thought, not even crying (bc no that wasn’t a tear) and then just moving on being silly as if nothing happened.

And then the other speech him saying that they’re destined to - do you seriously think he’d just make that up for shits and giggles? He was being serious. If he was gonna play it up for Fyodor’s sake he would’ve said the most emotional out of pocket line to ever be written, which to them would be related to him leaving Chuuya behind. But no he just said they’re destined to do something.

Dazai talks a lot about the past to Chuuya (Chuuya does not participate) but those two are clearly emotionally constipated bc they never have a conversation about what they mean to each other (which I think is bc Asagiri is not ready to reveal that yet). This was clearly Dazai taking his opportunity to say what he REALLY thinks / feels forcing Chuuya to listen without the commitment. Bc if anyone gets the ick later he can use the convenient excuse of “oh I didn’t mean that” which is bullshit.

And I do think an element of this idea that it’s worse that Dazai had everything planned comes from the misunderstanding that Dazai has completely changed since he was in the port mafia. Dazai just tends to make “better” (as in more objectively good) choices, but he very much still puts on a front. You guys do realize that his silly persona is just that right? A persona? He’s literally being fake every time he’s silly. That’s not his real personality. He’s a morally gray character. He never became a purely good person and he never will. It makes MUCH more sense that he planned everything out with Chuuya beforehand.

He met up with Akutagawa before getting arrested, he probably did the same with Chuuya.

And yes, this means he DID use and manipulate Sigma the entire time. Why wouldn’t he? Sigma has an ability Dazai needed. I’m sure Dazai planned for sigma to not die bc in his role as a detective it’s part of his job to mitigate losses of innocent lives, he knows this, but also bc Dazai needs to know what sigma learned. I genuinely hope there isn’t anyone out there thinking Dazai wouldn’t manipulate sigma bc he cares about him? He just met him. He has no personal investment in him. But he WILL make sure sigma is alive bc of the aforementioned reasons.

aah man, it’s probably ed & winry from FMA if I’m being honest. now I know why, bc my baby gay younger self saw the potential for ftm!Ed and mtf!Winry since day 1 but I didn’t have the words to understand it as such back then. it’s not that I don’t care anymore but that fandom served its purpose and I am thankful for it. learned about my own stance on gender euphoria thanks to it actually even if the story has nothing to do with it in retrospect.

ik that, as a wee child, I was obsessed with Haruka from Sailor Moon flirting with Usagi, but I wouldn’t consider that as a proper “ship”. I learned shipping was a thing at, like, 19. but if I look back at my childhood... probably either Syaoran & Sakura (bi nation where u at??) or Touya/Yukito from Card Captor. I clocked the Tomoyo/Sakura waaaay later tho, which is a pity.

first fanfic I read was a D. Gray Man one, so it was probably a Kanda/Allen situation yeah. I think I was 20. oh god.

hard to say. I think I had just discovered tumblr, so it means I was either 22 or 23... so I was either in the Pandora Hearts fandom or in the Tokyo Ghoul fandom. and I only followed people from those two so... I think it was an Arima/Haise one? hard to say fr.

I ship changgu. it’s Gu Yun’s fault to be such a cougar, what was a growing kid like Changgeng supposed to do? not fantasize about his godfather? who, I might add, is only, like, 8 or 9 years older than him and didn’t even want to take that role to begin with and they got together when both were above their mid-twenties anyway? try again tag game. these new fandom babies are eating my face like smooth lions as we speak. (I am joking...)

before I left the m/dzs fandom... I guess Wen Q/ing & Lan W/angji as a “beard for beard” situation. they are gay and they are not vibing on prom night, having to dance with each other instead of looking for people they actually like. maybe it’s best that I left the fandom ahah

I don’t really... read... fanfics... anymore. usually I’m either in a big ship or a niche show/book with no in between. in the second case... it’s bad bc I feel the urge to WRITE for the fandom and ship in question, which means that I don’t want to read fics about it unless I have finished my own fic for it (bc I don’t want to accidentally steal other people’s ideas. my subconscious is an octopus I swear, it latches onto anything that moves in my brain. I cannot do that to someone else’s creation!); in the first case it works only if I’m not active in the fandom:

take Word of Honor: I write for it and for the main ship too, so I don’t read fics about it

take Evilive or Winter Begonia: we have so few fics in there I MUST WRITE for the main ship, so I don’t read fics about it (sometimes I do cave in tho, yes I am human)

take The Devil Judge or Tomorrow: I’m not active on either of those, so I can enjoy reading fics (only two, one for each fandom)

my life is a struggle ik. the most fics I have read for a ship is probably that sapphic ship I shall not name (evil women come at me!!) and bagginshield from The Hobbit (we are talking 10 years ago tho)

across all genders and all gender combos, I have generally 3 vibes going on:

twice divorced, never married

long suffering banter, but fond

(additional flavor: either the younger one is the bossy one or they are the same age and they are making it everyone’s problem at that)

I would say conformity. if I don’t catch any queer vibes from the main source then what’s the point? even in a het ship I must latch onto some gender magic of some kind. some pegging for everyone would be nice too. or no sex at all, for a change, why not?

Helloooo. I’m very new to the Kiara fandom, being that I just watched OBX for the first time a few days ago. I’m here after reading bad habit and you actually wrote that *before* S3. I read a comment that someone left and you replied that you just got it (the comment) a few hours before the S3 premiere, then I thought WHAT WAS YOUR REACTION TO S3?!?!? Could you believe your eyes? A riara scene literally taken out of Fifty shades of gray. That whole plot could be a romance book or a fic I SWEAR.

The kidnapping trope, one bed trope, enemies locked up inside a very fancy bedroom (the sexual tension out of the roof) the red dress???? And Rafe super handsome with the suit???? Do you remember when you watched that? How was the fandom at that time???!?!?!

First of all, welcome to the fandom! 🩷🌟💗 The show is so much fun, I’d give anything to relive that high of watching it for the first time omfg.

YES LOL I THINK I KNOW EXACTLY WHAT COMMENT YOURE TALKING ABOUT! It was with @riaraa I believe (you should check out her work bc she writes riara too, and phenomenally might I add!)🩷🩷 It’s funny because I originally found out that we were even getting scenes because a reader commented on my fic saying “hey btw this a spoiler but maddie and drew are filming rn, together. alone.” The fandom was hilarious at that time, we all collectively thought it’d be kook year flashbacks (despite him having a buzzcut LMAOO)

Hahaha this ask makes me feel like we went through some sort of historic moment— and we did, canon riara scenes that weren’t 2 seconds long!! REJOICE! The riara fandom was livvvingg when season 3 premiered, we got ALL the tropes and people were madddd asf. I had so many people in my ask howling at me like I was in the writer room forcing the Pates’ hand to make this happen. Anyway, the funniest reception to those scenes were casual watchers of the show being like “…wait…is there something going on between…Kiara and Rafe?” and the “guys… what if… just WALK WITH ME HERE…what if they had a thing during her kook year” and I was like yes 🤗 come to the dark side 🥰 it was near impossible to not become a shipper with all the tropes and tension they put between the two! Not to mention Maddie and Drew have such palpable chemistry and they were able to showcase that. I remember that Maddie and Drew ended up doing a lot of the promo for the show together too (also think that was partly due to Rudy not wanting to do promo? I imagine they would’ve wanted to pair the two romantic leads in promotions but I digress) which was great for us. A lot of the promo was shot pre season 3 release so I think that informed a lot of what they said during the interviews, there’s just one I’m thinking of in particular where Drew and Maddie say stuff about how Riara would be weird— I wonder if they’d change their tune knowing how the audience reacted to their scenes. It seemed like the were preemptively squashing anything to make sure people didn’t come for them.

It was a beautiful time in the fandom, personally I’m still riding off the high of having such an insane arc for those two characters 🫂

My other dead dove is actually loosely inspired by season 3! It’s focuses more on the Rafe side of the story and what he probably gets up to with a loooottt of creative liberties 🫣

Certainly, it seems like the show's creators used color coordination in the characters' outfits to convey subtle messaging about their relationships. In episode 418, the color choices of Jordan, Layla and Simone’s clothing appear to reflect the dynamics between them.

Yes?!?! I just ask that you please please please share more of your own observations about outfit choices as well!!

I had a discussion with a friend about this months ago and went through all their scenes and discovered how much they really did match or coordinate. I won't go quite as granular as I did, but sometimes I can't help myself. It's too fun.

I mean, you got the biggest callback to their moments in 2x10 with Jordan's suit in 5x04. And then Layla's yellow dress in both 3x18 and 5x04.

Layla and Jordan are much more coordinated in 3x07 than he Simone are. Layla's also in white, and Jordan's talking about her dad and throwing the word "endgame" around. Spencer is in much darker colors.

And in season 3, Simone and Layla keep wearing opposite, coordinating colors. Like, during their plan to set up the boys, they're in similar cut outfits, but Simone's in light red, and Layla's in light blue. And even during their PE class, they're in opposite gym outfits.

But outfit coordination really picks up steam in s4. In their first scene together, jordayla is in cream/white. Which makes me think of your point... new beginnings? In 4x06, they're in muted grayish/blue tones. And obv in 4x07, they're both in shades of pink. They look like they planned to go to prom together. Actually, all the teen couples match at prom: jordayla, spelivias in black, jasher are both in ties, and catience is in orange.

4x08, they're both in florals briefly. 4x12, Jordan's collar matches the exact shade of green of Layla's outfit. They're both in yellowish beige in 4x13. They're both in blue in 4x14. Then in 4x16, the white under his jacket matches her white throughout the ep. They're both in blue/gray tones in 4x17. And then the lovely 4x18 outfits for all three that you laid out.

4x19, they're in orange and black, the classic Halloween colors. And again, to your thoughts about color, perhaps they're on differing color palettes because they were opposing each other all episode? And for the first kiss, they are both bright, bright, bright.

For 5x01, Jordan's undershirt matches Layla's dress when we get our first scene, and even her lipstick matches his button up. Simone and Layla are in red and green at the party... the two sides of the triangle.

5x02 has them in reds/pinks. 5x03, Jordan manipulated for them to coordinate. They looked fantastic together. 5x04, They're in white and black. And I can't help but wonder if Jordan's in white bc he wants to be open about their relationship while Layla wants to keep it hidden.

5x05, they're in Valentine colors. Jordan's in red and white, and Layla's in white. And then in hc 2x07, Simone's in dark brown, Layla's in a mixture of beige/light brown. And their most prevalent coordination to me was seeing them both in really pretty jewel toned blouses in a deep purple and hot pink.

5x08 has jordayla in multicolor with earth tones. Plus the white accents in Jordan's tracksuit matches Layla's tracksuit, and they're in white and black at the end. 5x11, the black in her dress/accessories matches his black. They're both in gray at GW's.

They're both in gray/silver in 5x13. This was pointed out before, but all the couples at the end of the ep were coordinated with jordayla in gray, spelivia in black and white, and jasher in red and beige. They're in dark colors in the fridge scene in 5x14 and then they're in pinks/reds in the ily scene.

In 5x15, her top matches his pants perfectly. And that's a weird color to match. 5x18 shows them in light colors up front and the end. And the black accents in her jacket matches his black outfit in 5x20.

I mean, some of these might be coincidental, but there is quite a pattern of them matching/coordinating, especially the closer they became to each other.

So I take a lot of issue with p much everything that happens after the Alma Toran arc. There were a lot of rumors going around at the time that Ohtaka was being rushed to close things out bc interest in the series was waning or she was gearing to switch projects to Orient or smth, don't know how true that was but from what came out I think it might be reasonable. To keep this short and less literary analysis, I'll stick to my issues with just Ja'far and Ja'far centric things. And imma put it under a read more bc it got way longer than expected lmao

So I loved Ja'far as a character early on, I thought he was super interesting with his dual nature of the brutal assassin & loyal government official and he serves as a great counterpart to one of the most interesting characters in the series, Sinbad. He's someone who is resolute in his loyalty but unafraid to course correct Sinbad. He's a reminder to Sinbad's dark past and the primary motivator of a brighter future. But a lot of that gets lost in the final arc.

I think part of it has to do with Sinbad's character change from morally gray and emotionally complicated leader (something we don't see a lot in anime) to self-serving, fully corrupted 'villain'. I could write a whole damn essay on Sinbad. But in this shift, Ja'far becomes rather weak and disappears into the background.

He's no longer guiding Sinbad or reprimanding him when he goes too far. Instead, he seems suddenly blind to Sinbad's true motives and depressingly lost in the final conflict. Like if they had revealed that Arba had brainwashed him to stand down, I would believe it. Even in his final plea for Sinbad to come down from his high horse, we get a wishy washy, emotional argument that Sinbad easily charms his way out of. When you compare this to the scene at the beginning of season two or even in SnB at the end of the slave arc, it's like a totally different characters. In those scenes, Ja'far was unapologetically brutal, even slapping Sinbad to wake him up and give him a fierce reality check. He doesn't take any of the dour, half-assed promises to do better. He's mean and in SnB he reminds Sinbad that he promised to kill him if he veers too far from his path.

And this has always been Ja'far's role in the series. He is Sinbad's first and most loyal supporter but also his harshest critic. Ja'far, who grew up without any sense of morality, serves as Sinbad's conscious. It's what I love most about their relationship. But all of that seems to disappear at the end of the series. Sinbad becomes the corrupt capitalist dictator and Ja'far his secretary.

Not to mention that when the whole 'mind control' thing happens and we find out that people who were formally fallen are immune, Ja'far was such an obvious choice to lead the main group in their siege on Godbad, to be the guide that shows them the way to victory. He would have been immune bc of his status was a Black Djinn host and also would have been able to kind of fulfill his promise of killing Sinbad until he gets back on course. I cannot explain the absolute jawdrop that transcended the fandom when the final player was revealed to be Whatshisfuck from Reim. People were rioting and fleeing the fandom en masse when the final arc was coming out, it was Not Good.

I love Ja'far as a character and Magi had such a strong play at moral ambiguity and the ethics of global politics and I think a lot of that was lost in the final arc in favor of a shounen typical, he gets the girl and defeats the Big Evil ending and I will forever be bitter about it. Like at one point I wrote out my 'if i was in charge' ending lmao. The last scene of Ja'far standing in Sindria, saying that he's waiting for Sinbad's return was heartbreaking.

NNT Rewatch: Episode 2

Also I should probably say, this being a rewatch, I will talk about things that happen later both in this season and the story in general

Okay so first of all, Netflix, you're asking to skip recap when this scene wasn't in the last episode

Secondly okay then her father wasn't laid up in bed sick when she escaped, but I wonder if he encouraged her to leave on her own because he knew he was/he'd get sick, or if he knew he'd just slow her down bc. I mean. He IS old

Love characters with parental-related trauma, whether it's just related to the parents or the parents caused it. And Elizabeth (though not known yet) has BOTH of those

Anyway she'll be seeing holy knights burst into her father's room in her nightmares for a long time I'm sure

It's interesting just how many demon types there are depicted in the intro (at least a huge variety in appearance) yet we don't really see a lot of them

First season it's the red and gray demons, then we see more humanoid ones (Meliodas and the commandments), and Grayroad, but then there's this hulking demon in the intro and some dragon-like ones. There's one I'm curious if it's what Galand is beneath the armor. And there's tons of - again fairly humanoid - demons in the Cursed by Light movie.

Just. I'm really curious why we had so many humanoid ones. I would've loved to see the more beastly or monstrous looking demons throughout the show more, if only because the designs look so cool

But then we also don't know how much of this art can be considered accurate since the goddesses are portrayed with only a single set of wings, so (assuming that this was art depicting stories passed down by humans) maybe none of these demons exist

It'd be really cool if they did tho

Also at the bottom we have two human armies facing against each other, one blue the other red, and supposedly fighting on their respective sides. So it's interesting to see humans being depicted to be split on who they should support in the Holy War, if anyone, kinda like what I assume was going on with Rou and the humans who attacked the Fairy King Forest in the first Holy War

One day I'll analyze the Sins' armor and how it fits to each of their characters perfectly

I just. I love the colors in this intro and every scene is just beautiful

Also Elizabeth and Meliodas, while standing hand in hand, are fairly far apart and I'm pretty sure in future intros they're MUCH closer together

Holding hands to show that their lives are intertwined/connected - hinting at the curse they're plagued with. But there's also distance between them that Meliodas is likely putting there, trying to keep Elizabeth at arms length to avoid accidentally activating the curse.

Like. Cmon. Elizabeth is closer to HAWK in the intro right there.

Alright I'm gonna be overanalyzing EVERYTHING if you hadn't caught on so here's more

In the scene they're lying in the grass Elizabeth is sleeping (or at least has her eyes closed) but Meliodas' eyes are wide open. Could be referencing how Elizabeth will die/has died but will come back (reincarnation -> sleep cycle) whereas Meliodas will continue to live (never truly dying -> awake). Like he closes his eyes for a moment then springs up, kinda like a brief respite before getting back into the thick of things

I'm definitely reading too far into it and idk if it makes sense but I'm fine with that

Too bad we don't see more of the Necropolis. I feel like it'd be interesting to explore more.

But also I love that there's a path leading to nowhere on this hill. Meliodas sells Vanya ale regularly from the looks of it (we see it in episode 1) so I wonder if the path is just there for when the boar hat is in town

While I am miffed over them not using more of Elizabeth's physical abilities in the show, I do absolutely love just how big her heart is and how she's such an empathetic person

Like she figures out what Mead's deal is before going to confront him and connects with him through it and just ughshfhdh

The shock on this kid's face when he suddenly realizes he's talking to someone who will completely understand him

Also he looked so surprised when Elizabeth got down to his level and like

This just shows a really healthy way of talking with kids and trying to get to the root of the problem. She starts with what she's heard, then gets to his level and connects with him and just.... my heart....

And like. It WORKS. He opens up about what's really going on because Elizabeth opened up to him

Also! Perfect Time still playing in the background! I don't remember much about future seasons but I don't remember it playing much in more emotionally triumphant scenes rather than physical

Like the fight with the DK and even SD, while somewhat emotionally charged, were more about the physical triumph than the emotional

Perfect Time in this episode doesn't kick in until AFTER Meliodas pulls the sword and then it plays in the background, lasting until the scene changes to the Boar Hat

It was used to emphasize this as a win, because it was a win for these people's spirits and less about Meliodas' physical win

ITS CALLED THE FOREST OF WHITE DREAMS OKAY

I love the foreshadowing of Gilthunder's story, because while we don't know much about him or what the fuck that raven is and why it looks so evil, we know they're connected somehow but don't know how

Also the raven is outside observing Gilthunder, through the glass, maybe highlighting how Gilthunder is trapped under Vivian's vigilance AND how Vivian cannot truly see Gilthunder (who's in a chair blocking the view of the window and therefore letting him hide from Vivian)

That is a really nifty power of Gilthunder's and it's a damn shame we NEVER SEE HIM USE IT AGAIN

Love seeing the customers starting at Hawk in shock but also nervously lol

I do love all the foreshadowing to the curse without blatantly showing that foreshadowing

After Meliodas confirms there's something Elizabeth is meant to do, he says "And I have something that I'm meant to do" and while it's clear to people who know he's talking about how he has to break the curse to first time watchers it could mean something much different, like he's meant to protect the people or save them (because, as revealed later, that's why he's the sin of wrath - he failed to save the people of Danafor but also he's protecting THESE PEOPLE now too)

Him catching and then throwing the spear back will never NOT be epic

I’m a 23 year old college student who is majoring in History. I’m kind of a huge nerd, I love subjects like History (duh), Literature, Politics, Philosophy, Psychology, Religion, but also Comedy (i find fascinating to analyze it, even if that kinda defeats the purpose, sue me). I kinda only watch sitcoms, actually, maybe because of how obsessed I am with the genre (more on that later). 

Being Brazilian I may reblog/talk about Brazillian issues/stuff and most definetely will reblog things about Turma da Mônica (brazil’s most beloved comic book series that shaped the childhood’s of at least 3 generations now since the 60s/70s), my longest autistic special interest. Oh, yeah, I’m also neurodivergent, AuDHD and also have persistent depressive disorder (dysthymia gang rise up! or dont, ik its hard and tiresome) and fibromyalgia.

Another special interest I’m unhinged about is The Sims, I use Tumblr mostly bc of it, so I’ll definitely reblog stuff about it, maybe if everythings works out I will even create a side simblr, who knows. I love historic/fantasy gameplay, would be cool to share with people.

Idk if its a SI or just regular cat owner thing, but I’m definitely obsessed with these little guys. Speaking of cat lover, I love Taylor Swift. Like, I’m very casual about most music I consume, but she is the exception, I just... feel SO MUCH with her songs. Idk, idk... She also makes me feel things on a sapphic way, though I’m no g*ylor or hetl*r (rlly dont care about who she dates, just here for the art). But not in a wow I wanna bang this celebrity I have a crush on, cuz I dont wanna bang no one, cuz I’m acearo. Just, dont swing that way (or any way, really /hj cuz i'm actually gray-bi-romantic but its very rare, so i'm usually not swinging at all lmao).

I really like to read, but it has been tough to keep the habit with depression and disabled adult life knocking at my door and kicking my ass... currently I’m finishing reading all Jane Austen’s work (i love her sense of humor and analyses of human psychology) in portuguese, but I plan to eventually read the original stuff in english. I just really love stories and storytelling as an art form, maybe that’s why I love to write. I’m obsessed with fanfictions, actually, been writing since I was 11, never anything in english, but who knows, actually creating and participating in tumblr may be the first step. I mostly write about tv shows I’m obsessed about (though I did write some Turma da Mônica Jovem fanfiction...... thank god I deleted, it was terrible, tho in my defense I was still a preteen) and I mostly watch sitcoms so.... About that...

My favorite sitcom ever is probably How I Met Your Mother (it was literally what i needed when i was going through a really rough patch) and BoJack Horseman (yes, cartoon sitcoms totally count, shut up). I’d say my first sitcom love was The Simpsons, my biodad had a lot of dvds and tapes from the golden seasons and the fondest memories of my childhood were us watching together and laughing like two idiots. My first fandom was iCarly (i was a preteen okay), but I wasnt a big fan of the revival/reboot (yes I was team seddie, no it has nothing to do with it, I gave it a shot, but just didnt vibe with it). I also love The Office, That 70′s Show, Never Have I Ever, Community, Our Flag Means Death, The Sex Lifes of College Girls, One Day at a Time and The Good Place.

I’m pretty sure the only other shows that I got obsessed with that weren’t sitcoms were Once Upon a Time and Lucifer, two shows that were quite humorous with its wacky premises (fairytales in real life???? the devil taking a vacation in LA??? i mean, c’mon!!). I’m loving the Percy Jackson disney adaptation, it was my favorite YA book series and it always bummed me that the movie adaptation was so terrible, I'm glad we finally have a great adaptation and can't wait for more seasons to come!!!

I’m very talkative (you dont say?? 😮 /s) and a total extroverted that really loves to make friends, but my communication difficulties really do shine on long distance conversation... be phone calls, video calls, emails, text messages etc... So, although I’d love if you shoot me a message, bc I love to make friends, I also am not the best texter, so dont expect someone who always immediately answers you right back cuz they are online — please dont take it personal, it has nothing to do with who is messaging me and everything to do with my disability mkay? And yes, I am trying to work this shit out in therapy, but you know... growth aint linear. When shit hits the fan, the first thing that I lose is the ability to answer text messages 😭 idk i just stare at them, they stare at me, i combust and die, the end.

and let's be so real, if ouat wasn't an ABC primetime television show owned by Disney, Regina could have been so much worse. she's actually so fucking sanitized it's insane. in another timeline, the pilot was picked up by another network and ouat is rated AT LEAST tv-14 bc of the shit her and the other "villians" would pull.

and they ALWAYS bring up the Graham/Huntsman shit. yeah that was crazy fucked up of her. again, she was the EVIL queen. she was a horrible fucking person for a hot minute.

regina was MADE into the monster that she was. that's like. a major plot point??? evil isn't born it's made type shit, yk? she did eventually regret everything she did and she more than made up for it with, yk... all the times she saved everyone's asses.

we all know the stupid "David wanted emma Snow wanted a baby" bullshit and honestly I see just a lot more snow/mm hate in general on tt. don't get me wrong it's here too, just not as prominent.

you don't have to necessarily love every character okay. the charmings and the "heroes" in general do some absolutely fucked up shit some times. and even I admit snow's oppressive optimism is kind of annoying sometimes. but can we please for the love of god stop bashing characters just because we don't like them or don't like a certain ship.

in fact. if you can't cope with all the characters being different shades of morally gray, you should also find another show. that's one of the shows main selling points??? yeah um. evil isn't born it's made. no one's fate is sealed. no one is purely good or evil. the Savior turned into the dark one (despite her parents literally ripping the darkness out of her soul and putting it into another child) and the evil queen is a traumatized girl who also happens to be an amazing mother. if you're looking for black and white family friendly fairytales (especially in the first few seasons) this is not the place for you, my guy.

AND ANOTHER THING about ships. I think shipping has nearly ruined this fandom, specifically. People are so fucking obsessed with who's dating who and honestly any romance besides the charmings wasn't even remotely important in the first two seasons. there are so many other things to talk about and dissect in this show, there's so much content (I mean 7 seasons, 22-23 eps a season, 40-45 min long eps) and SO MANY PLOT HOLES/INCONSISTENCIES/WEIRD FUCKING SHIT and what's dividing the fandom is who's fucking who?? bsffr.
