they're so quiet. the only thing you can hear is their soft breath, maintaining a constant rhythm. they generally prefer to bury their head in your shoulder, but they're content just laying next to you. they're so easy to sleep next to. they probably completely shut off while they're asleep?? you will not feel a single thing. no water necessary. no bathroom breaks. they save feeling sick until the morning. in addition, a kiss on the forehead is the last thing you see before you fall asleep and the first when you wake up in the morning. all in all, they're super sweet—maybe, in a way, pretty old-fashioned. i give a 100/10.

SO touchy. literally can't go more than ten seconds not being next to you. probably have a quiet, whispered conversation with you before bed—about anything at all. it's mostly to distract from the fact that they're feeling you up, but they still listen to every word you say. they mumble replies with a teasing voice as their fingers dance up your back, resting at your shoulder. nuzzling their head in your neck while lightly kissing you there. (maybe biting if they're into that...) if you want to get up to get water, they probably make you stay where you are so you stay comfy. they'll do everything for you. you want a massage at 3 in the morning? go ahead, ask. they won't refuse.

LOUD. that's all you really need to know—but you can barely sleep. it's like they don't need it. they'll stay up for hours on their phones, talking about the videos they're watching, what they did—anything at all that they can think of. you'd believe they'll eventually get tired and toss in the towel, but they could pull 10 all-nighters in a row if it meant you'd listen the whole time. other than that, they're usually pretty cuddly. They'll grab onto your arms and scrunch into a ball position, their knees nearly at their chest. They'll probably talk to you like that until they realized you've dozed off. Once they do, they kiss you on the nose and cuddle against you, letting out an unbelievably loud sigh. almost comically so. (it might wake you up and you'd have to fall asleep all over again...)

sarcastic and mean. can you even get more mean than these guys?? they (lovingly) insult and tease you before dragging you into the bed, tightly holding you against them. they'll most likely hold the back of your head by tangling their fingers in your hair, keeping you steady against their chest. to hear their breathing. they might give you a kiss on the forehead if you get lucky. if you decide to tease them by refusing this kiss, they'll probably spread their limbs across the bed to make sure you've got no room, and that you'll have to climb on top of them to be able to lay down comfortably. that's better than a kiss, in their opinion. you're wide open for sarcasm, teasing, and letting them be the meanies they are.

Like since they’re a God and all, they’re dressed in fancy attire- but the clothes are always to big on them or they’re made in soft colors, so the characters coo over how ‘tiny’ and ‘cute’ {Reader} is

And if any of them are designers, they make them cut outfits like poofy dresses or little suits and force them to wear it

Like {Reader} is like, “I’m a teen! And a GOD! I refuse to wear this!” But they still end up wearing it lol

And maybe the characters fighting for their attention and time, maybe becoming a little too aggressive towards each other.. Maybe even threatening others to stay away from {Reader}..

Or! Or, if they talk about their family before they were transported, the characters engrave that into their brains basically and try to act like their them, or get upset that they mention that and say how they’re their ‘new family’

Yes, Reader is coddled to high heaven. The archons have had unoffical custody court over you. With some math done by Neuvillette, each archon/ region gets equal time with you. Whenever you try and argue about wearing the fancy clothes, the mom and dad types use their authority voices, the aunt and uncle types use bribery, and the sibling and cousin types uses a mix of puppy dog eyes and bribery.

They is a lot of rivalry. Different sets of sibling are at each other's throats, the cousin and sibling types are usually at odds. Some mom and dad types bicker while the aunt and uncle types compete with each other and the mom and dad types. It's a mess you're always caught up in, and it's is never fun.

If you mention anything good about your family back home, the respective type of platonic yandere will try and copy that behavior. If you mention anything bad, they'll avoid that behavior like the plague

when alhaitham’s eyes finally open - albeit barely - the first thing he notices is that the books on his nightstand aren’t there. 

the second thing is that, judging from the pulsing behind his temples, he is definitely hungover. so he attributes the missing books to whatever drunken state he was in last night thanks to cyno, a bet, and way too much alcohol. 

groaning, he closes his eyes again. maybe it’s for an hour or maybe it’s only five minutes, but when he peels them open again, he realizes that the sunlight that’s hitting them is coming from a window that’s not in the right spot.

it’s startling enough for him to jolt upright, because it’s enough for him to realize that this isn’t his room. 

it’s with mounting horror that he realizes that isn’t his window, that isn’t his nightstand, and that certainly is not his underwear laying on the floor. 

and he is certainly not alone in what isn’t his bed either. with an increasing heart rate, he moves as quickly as his alcohol impaired body can manage, collecting his discarded clothes and slipping them on. 

“haitham?”

when he whips his head around to look at you, his brain feels as if it smacks against the side of his skull.

kaveh peels himself off the front porch as alhaitham shoves his key in the lock and pushes the front door open. 

“where were you last night?” the architect asks, already seeming suspicious. “you said you were going home when you left. i was waiting for you!”

alhaitham sends him a flat look. “you poor thing.” 

“don’t bring my financial status into this! just answer the question!”

he grabs a glass, weighing different lies and their effectiveness in his head before answering. “i was out.”

“obviously,” his roommate huffs, catching the door and following him in. “but where?” 

alhaitham fills and chugs his water to soothe his parched throat (and to avoid answering), turning the answer over in his mind. he quickly comes to the conclusion that answering honestly would be extremely unwise. 

so he simply shrugs, setting his glass down and heading towards his room.

unfortunately, he isn’t fast enough to escape kaveh’s long limbs and insatiable appetite when it comes to his private life. he practically body blocks him, hand cupping his chin contemplatively, eyes boring into him as if they could pierce his skull and read his thoughts. 

“is that a hickey?” 

“of course not, don’t be crass.” alhaitham pushes past him, then tugs the collar of his shirt up. he needs a shower and fresh set of clothes. 

but kaveh is hot on his heels. “you were out with someone, weren’t you?” 

normally, he’d be much more adept at diverting kaveh’s attention, but there’s a strange, paralyzing panic rising in his chest hindering him. it must be the remnants of the alcohol lingering in his system. “no.”

“then why didn’t you come home?”

“i’m not a child who has to explain why they were out past curfew.” 

kaveh rolls his eyes. “right, you’re a grown man that’s always in bed by 9pm. now, was the house of daena burning down or were you out with a…certain pretty doctor? you guys were both pretty tipsy when you left.”

in the years that alhaitham has known kaveh, he’d learned that the man was never able to simply accept certain comments at face value.

for example, last week alhaitham may or may not have said that he thought you were pretty. he’s never been one to exaggerate, and meant it purely objectively. like if he said tighnari was smart or that cyno went through card backs faster than dehya went through steel gauntlets. it was just a fact. 

but whenever it was about you, kaveh always managed to distort his simple observations into something borderline scandalous. 

“it’s none of your business,” he snaps, sounding much too defensive for his liking. “if all you’re going to do is make baseless accusations, save them for later. i need to get ready.” 

“where are you going?!”

the table alhaitham shares with you at puspa cafe is silent. 

usually, having coffee with you is easier. conversation flowed easily and the few silences you’d share never demanded to be filled. at first he’d thought that it was because you were compatible in all the right ways, but he’d quickly come to the conclusion that it because, well, you were you. 

and last night he’d kissed you. he’d felt your lips press against his own and felt your soft skin under his fingertips. he may have forgotten how the two of you had ended up back at your place, but he’d never forget that. 

but now the air is so brittle he fears it may snap. he glances up at you. your expression is almost unreadable. like him, you’re probably over-analyzing the situation at hand.

“i don’t regret it,” he says simply, internally cursing his lack of social tact when you startle. “do you?”

“i don’t,” you say quickly, looking sincere enough. “but…fraternizing is against akademiya faculty policy.”

“i suppose because those are the rules,” he says slowly, reaching across the table to twine his fingers with yours as he adds, “we’ll have to terminate all contact then.”

“yes,” you nod, a smile spreading across your lips. “we will.”

but when he leans in to kiss you, you don’t stop him.

well, alhaitham’s never been one for rules anyway.

Back in the days, he wasn't the center of attention, and these loud houses were quiet secrets only shared for two people. Now he took the center stage, where everyone worshipped his every move.

And you watched.

"And our star player tonight!" Childe drags Wriothesley to the stage where everyone could see him, you just clapped no time to cheer loudly. After all, your voice will be hoarse with no more for the presentation tomorrow.

Before, these events always seemed fun for you, but now, now...

You see them six, popular, untouchable group and know that you will never belong to it. Wait there's only five of them... where is...

"Need some fun, girlie?" The red head from earlier came to you and offered you some sweets.

Promises were made, and he was the first to break them. With the chance of being popular and glorified he left you, but that didn't really stop you did it?

It was not long till the snoppy Charlotte saw you both, perhaps it was your loud exclaim.

"Want me to make an editorial about her so she will have a bad reputation?" That was her ideal of comfort, and in some degree it would work.

"Or better yet we will spread bad rumors about her at school?" Dehya joined in, wanting to cheer you up.

No. Clorinde does not deserve any of those, even if hatred panged your heart, you knew that she deserves none of it. She was always organized, she always knows what to do. She's just... perfect.

"The poor Clorinde, Lottie!" Kaveh reprimanded the journalist with his drunk boyfriend on one shoulder. How chaotic. "For me you should just get over the guy! It would also help your reputation at school! It's that furry's fault!"

You let out the heaviest of sighs, almost at the verge of just giving it all up. Clorinde's wrath just seemed to strong. But... you can't, you just can't let go, not today, not next week, and not even when everything changes.

And in the fleet of defeat, you see Kaveh's drunk boyfriend finally holding his composure.

As more teases fell from the mouths of your other friends, you couldn't help but inch closer to them, once you got the go signal you pressed your lips against theirs. It felt warm amidst the cold of the season and radiated a sense of comfort throughout your body.

Accidentally overhearing Alhaitham’s late night phone call was one thing Kaveh didn’t plan on. But hearing those words spur from his literally cold-as-ice tongue made him question his existence. Alhaitham?? Being affectionate with someone???? Saying ‘I love you’ back??? Was Kaveh about the be called up to celestia and live his remaining life with the primodial one??

Okay it’s not even about the fact that he called them darling. OR THE FACT THAT HE SAID I LOVE YOU BACK. Even though those facts alone were something he desperately need to talk about later. But one thing Kaveh was mostly surprised at was the fact that someone wanted to be affectionate with him.

That made him wonder. Like the green haired moron does literally nothing but sit and read. Without his pretty face, perfect brawns, and outstandingly smart brain, he would be nothing. No but seriously, did you ever see Alhaitham taking a step forward to start a conversation? No, exactly! In fact he’s the one that takes the initiative to stop them.

So from now on, Kaveh decided to make it his life mission to find out who exactly is willing to suffer for the sake of being with Alhaitham.

Going to his lists of candidates he has…uhm. He can’t really think of anyone right now rather than the librarian that spends 24/7 in the library. I mean he guessed they do have one thing in common. But no let’s cross that out.

Oh yeah! Alhaitham was in the student council. He was there as secretary! Okay that opened up a few spots for some people Alhaitham could be dating.

Okay so far here is his list:

Notes: possibility 40%. Seen them talk before but they hate each other sm. Honestly giving enemies to lovers vibe but didn’t Cyno had a thing w Tighnari? Idk need to check again.

Notes: possibility 60%. Very very pretty, single too (I think??) Seen them talk but I think only abt student council matters (or is it??). Kinda too good for Alhaitham. She doesn’t seem to be the type that likes cold guys. Does that cross her out??

3. Student council head of sports department, Dehya

Notes: possibility -100%. Definitely not. Rumour spreading around that she’s dating Dunyazard. Ship them sm ngl if she turned out to he dating Alhaitham I’ll kill him for ruining my ship. But overall definitely not.

4. Student council president, [ Name ]

Notes: possibility 25%. Nah bro they too good for him. They’re literally the definition of social butterfly and he’s likes the opposite. So many ppl chasing after them fr so if they turned out to be taken by Alhaitham, I’ll personally go back to celestia myself.

So far that was the list! It was okay so far but he needed more evidence. The one with most percentage on his list was Nilou. He’ll have to ask around to find more candidates too. But he was sure that the list of candidates wouldn’t be more than 5.

Before you questioned Kaveh to why didn’t he just asked Alhaitham, it’s because he would just stare at him blatantly and said “It’s not your problem” ! Honestly, getting an answer from Alhaitham aside for calculus matters is extremely difficult.

He did his research and observations. Alhaitham goes to the library every day (literally). He spends his time there reading the same kind of shit he does at home, staying quietly at a remote corner, away from all the other students.

There was no way this man is taken. The problem is he doesn’t even try. Like at all. 0 efforts. If Kaveh was his lover, he would’ve dump his ass in public and let him suffer the embarrassment. The worst part about that is the fact that he probably won’t even care!

After what seemed like 30 minutes, Kaveh decided that all was hopeless and finally went his merry away. Ah, if only he stayed just a minute more. Then he wouldn’t have missed your approaching figure heading towards the man whose nose is stuck in a book.

“Hi.” A small smile graced your lips, your eyes melt into those turquoise hues, one that reeked of fondness and admiration.

No words of greetings has yet to leaves his tongue, but the way he scooted over to the right, indicating you too sit by him was more than enough.

“So, when are we going to tell him?” Alhaitham averted his gaze from his book unto you. His eyes slightly squinted, showcasing evidence of him clearly thinking.

“Is it really equivalent for him to know?” Your boyfriend asked, earning a soft chuckle from you.

“Statically speaking, not really. But the way he’s searching for candidates is so hilarious and amusing to watch, don’t you think, darling?” Alhatham lifted his book up to eye level, covering the dust of pink that shimmered around his features.

He pondered awhile before replying “Ah you’re not wrong. It is quite the fun to see him run around chasing for some bit of evidence. A mastermind are you, my love?” Now it was your turn to flush shades of red. You can see the smile of adoration on his eyes cascading through the shades of his irises.

Times like these are where you love him most. Where the two of you sit in the presence of one another, quietly scheming and watching that friend of yours running around like a detective on a case. Seeing him desperately looking for the answer when it is right in front of him, sitting cross legged and maneuvering the most amusing smile.

The acting grand sage was drowning in his work. The pile of paper seemingly never ending, it didn't help he haven't seen you in a while. al haitham missed your scent, the calming yet fresh scent you always wore. The more he thought of you, the more his desire to see you grows. Alas, his duties calls yet again.

You however, had a much more troublesome duty. You had bought two lipsticks, one of which nilou recommended you and another which you had waited for its restock. Now that you had saved up and could afford both, you didn't know what to wear first. It was a dilemma of utmost importance, but you had no one to help you with.

Nilou was busy with the rehearsals, candace was too far to just ask about a lipstick and dehya was off somewhere. You couldn't find the traveler either, nor kaveh. So you decided on your trust worthy lover, The Acting Grand Sage.

Saying hello to the guards, you showed them the permission slips alhaithem gave you if you wanted to visit. This was much easier than to have to go through a whole line. Knocking softly on the doors, his voice invited you in.

“ come in. ” here he was, buried in a pile of paperwork, you almost missed him if his strand of hair wasn't stickin out from his grave. “ busy aren't you? ”

You voice made him look up, for a moment he thought he thought he was imagining it. Maybe all those numbers and words formed his desire and there you stood. But he knew better, that blinding smile can never be mistaken for fake.

He smiled at you, “ what brings you here? ” he asks. You walk over to him showing him the two items who made your hair turn grey. “ I'm having trouble deciding. Can you help, oh Grand Sage? ”

“ Acting Grand Sage. There's a difference. ” he frowned, this made you chuckle, ” yes, yes. Can you help me? Acting Grand Sage? ” he huffed, nodding to you.

You sat where there was space on his desk, smiling and showing him the two different lipstick. “ I'm having second thoughts on which i should use first. Do you think you can help me? ” you tilted your head. Al-haitham stared at you becore taking one of the two you held. He kept staring at it for a good while, you started sweating.

“ turn around. ” you blinked. “ what? ”

“ i said turn around. I have an idea. ” you knew he didn't like repeating himself, so you did as told. “ i dont get why i need to turn around. ” he stayed silent. It wasn't until a moment later you taped you on the shoulder.

Turning around you were about to question him when you felt his lips on yours. They lstayed there for a while, al-haitham had your eyes covered by his hand. And you knew, he definitely felt the redness on his hands. You could feel the smirk he had.

Before long, he stood back. A smile on his face. “ this one suits you best. ” you didn't understand what he meant until he wiped some smudge off his lip. Realization struck you. He wore your lipstick. And he—

Your face heated up. Words failing to form a sentence, you nodded and toke the lipstick. Walking away in a daze. Al-haitham watched you stumble a few time before reaching the door. He called out “ Leave your schedule open tomorrow, I'll have a reservation ready. Wear the lipstick too. Unless you want me to hel— ”

“ NO! Thank you! See you tomorrow! ” you left in a hurry, your face now hotter than ever. Everyone gave you look but ignored you. This isn't the first time you came out of the Acting Grand Sage all flustered.

Al-haitham however, was in his desk. A new found determination to finish all his work before your date. The lipstick still present on his lips.

and u took in whatever culture and traditions everyone was so excited to show you as they were kind enough to give u clothes/food/shelter etc.

butttt… it did get overwhelming after a few months, and u got homesick more and more often :(

after all there wasn’t really an equivalent country to Costa Rica, and you couldn’t just take a plane back home, you were stuck here for… however long it takes someone to leave a video game universe??

You decided to actually do smth abt the crippling depression and “outsider” feelings instead of just rotting away, and went to Sumeru to get closer to the greenery of your home,

it made you feel a little better, but it could be the best, so u decide to lowkey force everyone in Sumeru to convert to Costa Rican LMAO

so ofc u did the most logical thing to convert ppl to a culture, the food!

u helped fund a small restaurant full of classic Costa Rican foods (coughandsoyoucaneatitwheneveryouwantcough)

(u still have the insane mora leftover from what u had in game so ur basically one of the richest ppl in Teyvat ngl 💀)

u recreated just the basic gallo pinto/casado with what was available (some beans from Natlan and rice from Inazuma/Liyue, the Ajilenakh nut from Sumeru acc kinda acts like plantains :0 and local fish/greens for salad)

Needless to say Sumeru is fascinated by the new cuisine and esp since its not a secret that you’ve funded it/made the menu from your homeworld

Alhaitham orders the casado most of the time bc he “admires the exact proportions, its all the nutrients you need, perfectly balanced” NERDDD

Tighnari likes barbudos bc there's not a lot of egg dishes in Sumeru but there are a lot of greens, so he “likes the familiar in unique combinations!”

unsurprisingly, Cyno likes Chancelta bc he can pick it up, eat it quickly, and go on with his patrol

Collei, Kaveh (and secretly Dehya lol) really like being able to munch and snack on sugar cane, (and the plantain imitation desserts!)

(u found sugarcane deep in sumeru forests, it was like on ur world, but sweet flowers sprouted out of the stalks too!)

You decide the next phase was to introduce dances and other fun stuff!!

Nilou was literally shaking with excitement to learn the traditional dances <3 (and also getting ur permission to add fun twists or Sumeru elements to them)

the kids that like to hang around and watch the troupe practice (and join) absolutely got obsessed with swing criollo, it was so cute to watch them all pair up and kinda trip over their own feet trying the footwork out

(u may or may not have teared up bc the band learned how to play a Spanish song for u guys to dance to, just for you)

teaching the theater troupes musicians how to adapt upbeat songs like Caballito Nicoyano or Ticas Lindas

omg getting Nilou Kaveh Faruzan Cyno Dehya (and Dunyazard!) to do the calipso limonense always cheers you up, (which is why they are so eager to do it when ur feeling homesick ❤️‍🩹)

Kaveh steps on too many people’s toes, Dehya gets dizzy from the spins/turns easily, Faruzan keeps spinning for too long, Nilou and Dunyazard are actually secretly latina bc they're so good at it (did they outdo you?? no, no they couldn't possibly-)

and Cyno just really likes the little dance line everyone makes lol

u CANNOT teach Cyno a new game from your home country, and expect him to NOT be the most competitive mf in Teyvat abt it

Blessed be Costa Rica, such a lovely country when I went, and as soon as I got off the plane coming back the first thing I did was make a Costa Rican meal the best I could

like got my mom to prep from dry black beans and rice etc. as fresh as we could get (nowhere near costa rica level btw) and made fresh guac and fried plantain chips and salmon I think? literally cooked the first night back bc I knew I missed the food already/knew id get sick

and I was RIGHT, that food I made was fine, but any other American food so bad I got nauseous

I literally got sick COMING BACK TO THE U.S like 😨???!!! I knew it was bad but not THAT bad lmao

and the first meal I had after that was still a homecooked meal, like my mom made it💀

love the coffee from there too, we even ordered coffee from the farm we visited when I got back to US it was so good (10x better than American obv)

you walked towards the kitchen, to prepare yourself some food when you noticed a silhouette sitting on the sofa.

tighnari was here. he was inside of your apartment, reading some book but judging by the way he threw it away the minute he heard you stepping into the living room, he wasn’t really focused on it.

‘what are you doing here ?’ you asked immediately.

‘dehya let me in.’

you sighed before looking away. ‘that wasn’t my question tighnari’

he got up from the sofa to get closer to you. his face was wearing a guilty expression, something rare to see. tighnari wasn’t often making mistakes with you, not to say he never made any.

‘can i hug you y/n ? i really miss you.’

you could feel the pain in his voice. a genuine feel of sadness went through you all of a sudden. you were used to spend all your free time together so of course four days didn’t seem to be long, but it was to you. and it was to tighnari too.

‘sure.’ you replied. your voice softened. of course you were still pissed off, but you noticed his efforts. usually he didn’t have lots of time, yet he took some of his time to wait for you today to wake up because who knows when he arrived here.

well dehya knew.

you crawled into his arms and he kissed the top of your head while rubbing circles on your back really gently.

‘i am sorry i’ve been that far the other day. it won’t happen again.’ he whispered quite lowly, but loud enough for you to hear it. you wrapped your arms around his shoulders, hugging him tighter.

‘i forgive you.’ you simply said. you didn’t really need to talk about what happened in details and you didn’t want to either.

instead you focused on his scent that you craved for the past few days and his hands cuddling you, and making you feel loved.

‘could we spend the day together ?’ you asked, not sure whether he would have the time for it. after all he was a busy man and you couldn’t reproach it to him because it was mostly to help people and that was one of the multiple things you loved about him.

but when he took a step back to plant a soft kiss on your forehead, you knew he would say yes.

‘i was about to suggest it. should we go outside ?’ he let you decide and as much as you loved to go outside with tighnari, to the places he knew and could make you visit; you wanted to stay comfortable today, only enjoying his presence.

so when you told him, he took off his shoes and you both headed towards your bedroom to lay down together and rest after the stressful days away from each other. and you felt much better, never wanting to see tighnari in such a sad state wearing such a guilty face. you couldn’t handle it.

you went to sleep early tonight. not that you were tired, but when scaramouche wasn’t here to talk to you, you usually went to sleep.

but in the middle of the night you got awaken.

someone was knocking on the front door, making you a bit scared because you lived alone and your phone screen displayed 3 am.

you got out of your room, walking slowly towards the door when your phone rang. someone texted you. and it was no other than your boyfriend missing for two weeks.

‘u sleepin?’

you opened the door right away, not replying to his text. the whole apartment was quiet since it was night.

you were about to ask him why he would come so late to your place when he threw himself into your arms.

his hair were messy under the hood of his grey sweatshirt

‘you didn’t text.’ he said, still holding you into his arms and you pushed him away gently ‘you didn’t either.’ you sighed walking away, towards your kitchen.

you were awake now so you might as well prepare yourself something to drink.

he followed you, slipping his two hands into the pockets of his jeans. ‘yeah..’ for once he was at a loss for words, which was a pretty rare sight.

‘i’ve been thinking about you every night and day y/n.’

you stared back at him. he had taken off the hood now and you could see his face better. he was super pale and his hair were messy. dark circles under his two eyes showing his evident lack of sleep.

‘mhh’ you knew it was hard for him to express himself and this was honestly a really good beginning for someone as scaramouche who is so reserved about his own feelings. but as hard as it was for him, you needed to hear actual excuses.

‘let me sleep with you tonight please’

you weren’t going to sleep anymore now that he had awaken you but you couldn’t really reproach it to him who had walked all the way down the city to join you to your place.

‘alright.’ you coldly agreed, leading him towards your room. you abandoned the idea of making yourself something since the conversation was quick to end.

you were already back in your bed, under your blanket with scaramouche’s arms around you. he was holding you so close and tightly, as if he was afraid that you would disappear.

his abandonment issues were showing, but since you knew about it all, you didn’t mind him clinging to your body. you loved him.

‘i love you y/n. i’m sorry for being impulsive and stupid sometimes. i won’t hurt you anymore.’

you couldn’t be so sure that he would never hurt you again, cause his impulsiveness was a big part of him. but you knew he sincerely loved you and that was enough for you to forgive and forget about the last two weeks.

KAVEH

› kaveh is super proud, and finds it hard to admit he is wrong which is why the argument went that far this time

› you told him to stop annoying you multiple times but stubborn as he is, he didn’t let go until you admit he was right so you just left his apartment and never came back

› but he also gets guilty over quite nothing and seeing that you didn’t text him back for a few days now was making him feel bad to the point where he decided to come back to you

you got off from work early and was in a pretty good mood when you entered your apartment.

the sun was still pretty high in the sky and since the weather was so good, you decided to go out for a walk after taking a shower.

when you passed by the wooden counter separating the living room from the kitchen, you noticed a bouquet resting on it.

there was a small paper with it.

‘join me behind the music store by 5pm?’

it was kaveh’s writing. you didn’t know whether he got inside your apartment or if your roommate got it from your letter box.

but it didn’t matter a lot. you thought for a minute and realized you hadn’t seen kaveh in about a week. you were used to not see him a lot but it felt unreal. you felt like you had not seen him for months when it’s only been six days.

perhaps that feeling helped you make your decision. you checked the time, and it was going to be 5 in a few minutes.

you quickly joined the address he gave to you on the card and saw him from afar. he was standing, looking in the direction of your working building street.

‘hi’ you stated when you arrived right behind him, making him jump a bit but he didn’t say anything about it.

the way his face lightened up when seeing you were here truly melted your heart. the warm smile on his lips was contagious and you ended up smiling too.

‘you’re beautiful y/n’ he complimented you looking at you from head to toe ‘spring suits you a lot, your outfit is stunning too !’

you fought hard not to giggle ridiculously like a little kid to his compliments and instead confronted him right away even though you didn’t want to have this conversation. ‘enough with the flattery kaveh, what did you want to tell me ?’

he gulped and his smile faded away. evidently he feared that you were still mad at him and despite a part of him still being angry, it didn’t compare to the day you got the argument.

‘i apologize y/n. i should’ve stopped debating when you told me to stop.’

kaveh avoided your gaze now. but him not looking at you into your eyes was not proving anything because you could feel how sincere he was when you took his shaky hand in yours, intertwining your fingers to help him relax.

‘i forgive you. sorry for not communicating a lot.’ you admitted your wrongs too and kaveh only took you into his arms. his loving arms around you was everything you needed these days as if recharging your life battery when with him.

after that the evening spent quite quickly but you spent it together, walking around the streets before going back to your apartment.

he slept to your house that night. because he craved you. and you craved to sleep into his arms, against his body emanating a natural warmth that you needed, to have a really good night.

you loved him and he loved you and your conversation proved that it would be pretty hard and even impossible to separate the two of you.

ROSARIA~

Rosaria was liking you for a very long time, she always watch you, saying that it’s for your protection, but she knows very well that isn’t for just protection.

Rosaria is a really quiet woman and many may consider her difficult to deal with, so your approach to her took a while, but it happened. You would go to Church almost every day to thank Barbatos and she would stay by your side or just watch you from afar, Rosaria don't believe in the Archons, however, if it meant staying close to you, having the slightest touches of your skin, she could accept that a bit,  always spelling the Archon' name wrong, which you complained about at first, but now you just accepted it and is happy with the company of your dear friend.

As a nun, Rosaria cannot get involved in certain personal relationships, even so, she seeks at least something more than friendship, just let her protect you, but don't have a relationship with anyone, okay? Rosaria has this kind of thinking, she doesn't stay with anyone and neither do you, they would just be friends... So, when you say you like someone, she just listens in silence, thinking about how to end that person. And if you said you like shorter men and women, she'll be freaking out inside, you said you found Albedo attractive! 

Rosaria felt strange, because she didn't trust him and also didn't want to see you with anyone. You also started to praise Amber quite often, which made her angry and hurt, was it because Amber believed in Barbatoes?! Was because of this? Did you want a devout person to the Archon?!

No, no, no! She will look for the deepest secrets and if she doesn't find anything compromising enough, she will stay by your side and invite you to the Church, after all, she needs to participate in certain activities and when she can't escape them, she always calls you to keep an eye on her. in you. Albedo and Amber have already realized how much Rosaria is by their side, especially, silently judging them and they feel that any wrong step or word would lead them to a not very good end.

KAEYA

Kaeya is quite attentive when it comes to his sweetheart (but you still don't know that you are destined for him), always winning over and trying to flirt with you, giving you hints that he liked you and only you! Those nights at the bar weren't enough for you to realize?! Kaeya knew you were weak to drink and so he could take advantage of that. 

What shocked him was hearing that you thought Aether (or Lumine) and Albedo were cute just because they were shorter, he stopped drinking for a few seconds, listening to you ramble about how cute they were. This makes him angry, so all those days, months of flirting were useless because you liked shorter people!? 

Kaeya tried to smile for you, support you through it all, but it was difficult, he didn't want to share it and  he won't. Slowly moving you away from the "cute" or short guys, flirting in public so they know they don't have a chance, the smile getting bigger when they mention you two as a couple. 

“a cute couple” they say, making his smile bigger and you flustered, even Albedo and Amber noticed that…

everything is going according to plan.

SHENHE

Shenhe wasn't a person fond of "humans", after all, she barely knew the concept of humanity and people didn't consider her as one either. So, being treated like a human and with so much affection, care and patience was a good experience. So good that she didn't want it to end. Hearing you say that you liked Xiangling for being shorter left her genuinely confused, she was conflicted as she didn't know how to react. Did she let you go or did she fight for that good feeling of kindness? Ant the bad thoughts began to fill her mind, did you like Xiangling because she was more human?

humanity is weird for her, so, the way she acts towards you is weird too.

Shenhe is strange towards any loving or more human sensation, so when the source of her jealousy appears, she wants to get rid of this evil so that she can become calmer and return to her normal, stoic state. But the moment you said you liked short people, she just didn't know what to do. Even if she got rid of them, there would always be someone else who caught her attention, and Shenhe can't change her own height. leaving her conflicted. In any case, Shenhe will remain by your side, she knows that she can be scary and that many may be afraid of her, so why not take advantage? So maybe you can see that height is not that important....

ZHONGLI

His passion for you was so gentle and obvious by the unintentional touches, the way he always called you and stayed by your side, but you were oblivious to all of that. Maybe he was just a good friend and since you received some advice from Zhongli, you thought about saying your preference for a love interest.

He will make you see that he is perfect for you, Zhongli first told you that Xiao probably wasn't interested in anything romantic and when that doesn't work, he'll talk to Xiao about you, asking him not to accept you.
