The next morning.

Shinichiro went to school to see Y/n in her usual place in front of her locker like every morning. He stared at her, shook his head, and went on to join his group of friends. He couldn't face her now because of last nights dream he had.

Y/n was a bit confused bc she thought Shinichiro would come up to her and tease her or just comment on her appearance like every single day he did "what was that about..?" She muttered to herself before closing her locker and went to her class.

During class, when the teacher comes in, she introduces new students: "Okay, class, we are having new students joining us today, so be kind to him." She looks at the tall, handsome boy with dark fluffy hair

"Introduce urself".

"Hello, my name is H/n." He brightly smiled

"I moved here recently, and I hope we all get along together."

He was quite handsome in her opinion. Then, the teacher points to the empty spot next to y/n and tells H/n to sit next to y/n.

Well, well, well, he seemed to be nonchalant, but actually, he was a very kind and talkative person. H/n and y/n were already talking like friends. They would be very close in such a short time, huh?

At that point, Shinichiro was glaring at them. Always glancing at them, he didn't know why, but it was frustrating for Shinichiro, and that was really weird for someone like him. Like, no one, i mean no other guys talked to her that close before, so it's oddly weird for him. He was the only person who talked with her like that before, so eventually he got very jealous.

Y/n and H/n were talking and chatting all morning, acting like best of friends.

H/n "So theres was a girl who bumped me while i was walking down the hall to the teachers office, I turned back to hear an apology but instead i got a mean glare from her! The nerves... man, kids need to be more respectful. " He laughed as Y/n giggled. "You sound like an old man H/n." She nudges him by her elbow.

While this was going on. On the other side of the classroom, Shinichiros patients were running low from just the sheer sight of Y/n talking chatting to another guy like that. "Fucking shut up..." he mutters in his mouth annoyed. Shinichiro didnt want to hear her laugh at some other dude that isn't him. But the worst part about it was she wouldn't laugh at his jokes or comments like that and it hurt him a little.

Suddenly the teacher talks up "Class! Next week the school trip is happening so remember to put a reminder and tell your parents." She announced to the class.

H/n "Hey Y/n, you will go right? If your not going then I will lonely cuz ur the only friend I have in here right now." He chuckles. "Duh ofc i will." She nods.

Shinichiro overhead their conversation and was surprised that she was going, I mean she didnt go before but now suddenly she was going? And that set Shinichiro off even more.

The teacher leaves as the bell rang dismissing the students. Shinichiro leaves after the teacher, he walls down the hallway towards his friends and they all see him in a bad mood.

"You guys comin? To the trip i ment." Shinichiro asks them, they all agreed and one of his friends calls out. "Y-yeah we will but bro.. you good? You dont seem like urself."

"Nahh something just got me worked up, its no big deal.." he sighs. Another one says "So should we head out? They're all waiting for you."

Tim knew it was gonna be rough. He couldn't open up to you, even after the years of friendship. And now, with the whole operator stuff, it would be even less likely for him to spend time with you.

What made it hurt, beside the petals and blooming flowers on his lungs, was that he felt like he would die to anything at this point.

Back when everything was normal, the petals still bloomed inside of him, but he could hide it. You were with Brian, he couldn't do this to his best friend from all his life.

But by god, were his feelings real.

Then you and Brian broke up, near the start of the Marble Hornets production.

But still, Tim couldn't open up. He felt guilty, and gross for doing so. So he sank his feelings deep down, and only comforted you, like the good friend you saw him as.

Then Jay appeared. And everything went to chaos. Tim's life went upside down.

He would wake up with limbs hurting, his fingers semi broken, and a lot of petals right in his mouth, coming for the next round of vomiting.

He was already feeling dead inside, and was just waiting to actually die.

...

That's when you got yourself in the middle.

Fucking Jay contacted you to get yourself involved and help them, since you were one of the smartest students from college.

Tim didn't want you to die. He couldn't beat it. If that happened he would kill Jay himself, instead of waiting for Alex to fucking do it.

He pushed you to the side, on the hospital ruins. It was now or possibly never ever.

He finally opened up. He told you how he had loved you for so long, but was afraid. Afraid of not only losing you, but Brian and his other friends.

He opened up about his feelings of being dead. He opened up about his fear of dying, or even losing you. He wanted you away from Jay, so at least you would be safe.

But you, as stubborn as you always were, stood your ground and said no. You wouldn't be leaving him to suffer alone.

He didn't have time to talk about the disease, since his coughing fits soon showed the petals getting out of him, and the vomited flowers with blood showed you what you needed to see.

While all of Tim's life went through that route, you were dreaming.

You broke up with Brian earlier that year because you were into Tim. He was alright with that, as long as you didn't leave him as a third wheel.

You were thinking of how to ask Tim out. You didn't know much of him, besides what Brian got to tell you about him, but you were so sure you loved him.

When you told Tim all of that, the Wright hugged you, crying. He cried like a child, and asked you to forgive him.

You, instead, cleaned his face and kissed his cheek.

"Tim... If you go down, then I'm going with you. I'm not leaving you behind, got it?"

He nodded, while still shaking... Then he heard it.

"Aww, you two are so cute"

And in unison, you said

"JAY IF YOU ARE FUCKING RECORDING THIS WE WILL KILL YOU, I SWEAR TO GOD"

SHORT STORY UTC !!

You had come over to Tsukasa's house for the evening, wanting to show him a new artist you had found. You excitedly sat on his bed grasping your phone as he closed the room door and glanced over at you with a smile filled with love, before walking over and sitting next to you.

You quickly typed on your phone, searching for the artist to have him listen to a few songs. This artists' inspiration is also for people to smile, so you thought he would like this artist since they have the same goal in mind. As Tsukasa listens to the songs, he is quiet for the first minute or two, listening carefully. You can't help the cheesy grin that soon appears on your face as he sways along, eventually getting up and dancing.

He pulls you up with him and you guys move and dance along to the beat. Soon enough, everything seems to fade out except him, both of your laughs, and the music in the background. You really enjoyed these moments with him as you both could bond and laugh and sing and not give a care about anything else in the world temporarily. You both fall in unison on the bed, chests rising and falling quickly as you try to catch your breath. He still can't help but giggle at the redness of both of your cheeks, and the happy sounds of your laughter.

MOVING ON THOUGH i want to say that man was one of the recombinants in quaritch's squad that wasn't quite killed and only wounded. the rest of his squad got extraction but he didn't, so that's how he made his way to the tree of souls trying to navigate the forest. i didnt really gave context to how sister!reader's rescue went because she was very focused on herself and her claustrophobic panic at the moment but YEAH I thought it'd be cool to establish a bit of a butterfly effect HSHSJDS ur gonna see what jake does with him it's going to be interesting

OOF to be honest i only have bits and pieces for the metkayina plot. if i were to write about it i think i'd do just headcanons? i dont have a lot tbh,,,,, nothing is set in stone at the moment. for the romance i have ideas i entertain, sister!reader is a character who can have interesting dynamics with everyone due to her personality. i havent really planned anything at all so i just dont know. i really am planning to leave the ending ambiguous sorry AHAHAH
