Due to a lot of feedback on the nature of this blog, and how the meme format can come across as insensitive and shameless, I'm considering switching to a news only post format, without the use of the destiel meme. I greatly enjoy sharing information about current events, and would like to continue doing so in some way.

So I am making this poll to ask everyone their opinion on the way I do things, and for suggestions to improve my content.

#not news #feel free to make suggestions in the comments or just yell at me anonymously #i really do enjoy reading about what's happening in the world and sharing that information with others #i mainly used the meme format to force people to read the headlines #but i don't want to make rage bait or anything like that. i honestly want to help inform people #in a time when misinformation across social media is at an all time high #so please! vote! tell me what you think! if i do reform the blog i'll still keep up all my destiel meme posts of course #and i may make a throwback destiel meme every now and then #so let me know!#probably shoulda made this just a 24 hour poll in hindsight but oh well. i'll keep news posting until the results are in and go from there

something that i'll be eternally grateful for is the support i recieve on this blog. i created it in may of 2023 so i had somewhere to put my pjo fixation. and almost a year later, there are nearly five thousand people who look forward to hearing what i have to say. truly a blessing. forever grateful.

The funniest kind of critical role "critique" is always going to be the 'they present themselves as if they aren’t rich/a company no I will not give any examples' crowd. Like what does this even mean. They start literally every single episode with informing you they are professional voice actors. They have clearly advertised sponsors. They have an entire line of merch and an animated show. The production value of the set is bonkers. They run a charity foundation. Do you want them to start every episode with a blaring siren and a warning saying 'beware! company run content! we make money!!' Are you just angry that they are friends having fun as they make a living. Do you have any understanding of how money works.

I was just thinking what a cool job this might be.. what if you were just the person who makes little still images of cute animal figurines doing various activities to post on social media...? like.. show up to work and just spend the whole day like "hmm... this table should be placed to the left a little.. let me set this miniature bagel down in this way... this tiny rabbit should be wearing a scarf", setting the backgrounds, the lighting, etc. ... dream job perhaps lol...

#I'm sure it probably doesnt pay much lol #but.. maybe in some ideal world..#with my health and mental conditions and level of functioning there are VERY few Jobs I could actually EVER manage aside from #just being self employed and being able to set my own hours somehow etc... But every once in a while I come across something like this #and it's like... hrmm.... Yes... perhaps if I could align myself in this hyper specific scenario under hyper specific conditions in a #precise and predictable way and everything worked out perfectly and I had all the accomodations I might need.. maybe I could #do THAT thing then .. lol #Not just generally a 'social media manager' or something. I think that would drive me into the throes of madness #but SPECIFICALLY 'person who makes the images for the calico critters social media' and also #the place i have to go to do that is either my home or within walking distance of my home and also i rarely have to interact #with others aside from the posts probably going through some approval process and initial ideas where they tell me what #type of scene to make and also i somehow make $90.000 a year doing this for only 4 days a week with frequent sick breaks #dreamy sigh and so on and so forth and such and so on #ANYWAY........#the idea of meticulously placing little pastries and miniature crayons and stuff around all day until the scene is perfectly crafted.. SO #SO so appealing to me... like designing environments in the sims except it's real and tangible.. And also imagine having access #to the FULL library of miniature items. to me that would be just as good as owning them #Like.. I get to use them and make little scenes with them and hold them and stare at them and everything except also #they're all kept at work so I don't have boxes of clutter filling home.#unlimited access to every little miniature food ever crafted yet none of the downsides (purchase cost and storage)#etc. etc. ANYWAY ...#Chuckling confidently as I add this onto the 'List Of ''Real'' Jobs I Could Do' which is just a notebook sheet of paper with only like 5 #other similarly unlikely hyperspecific scenarios scribbled down

Hey hey! I've been reading those asks you answered on the alleged bias towards Khao over First and getting a little miffed about that as well. So I thought it's time for some positive energy in here 😅

Regardless of what anyone says, right now First and Khao are clearly a package deal, and one of the main reasons they became more known and popular together is because of their dynamic and how well they act off of each other. And that takes two people equally, no matter how some antis like to twist it.

Yes, Khao got those nominations (which he fully deserves!) because he had the opportunity to show a huge dramatic range in those two roles, but the thing to do as fans is not to begrudge Khaotung the well-deserved recognition but to keep supporting First as well and to maybe talk more about First's amazing performances so that he also gets nominated going forward. I think First deserves every award for his acting, and I wish him nominations abound in the future! Obviously we have no say in whose performances the official circles choose to nominate, but we can sure as hell just show our support and hype First up instead of whining about Khao being nominated more.

Anyway, what I'm saying is don't pay those people too much mind. Everyone has their opinion, but I still think the people who love them both equally are in the majority :)

I am not sure what else they want me to say - I never deny there are bias in CP but to say that the majority is Khaotung focus and First is essentially on the side line? I really think these people are unhappy because Khaotung has been the one (so far) to receive nominations and so perceive that First is being forgotten.

I honestly believe First time will come! He is just as talented as Khaotung and I have no doubt we will get to see more of his acting chops. And like you say, a CP takes 2 to tango and its the dynamics that make their acting sparkles.

Consider Yelan's facial expression to be my own in reaction to opinions shared on both X and Tumblr, and I guess I'm in the minority of the 'loud ones', but I'm pretty excited for Natlan since that trailer, actually. The previous teasers left me a little 'eh', but this definitely got my hopes back up, and I'm back in the right spirits for it (and ready to catch some Pokémon.)

Now I wouldn't be me if I didn't touch on the salt that I've seen scattered across the dash, so here I go. Listen, I read people's objections and I see what you're all aiming at, but in that light want to note that it's often incredibly easy to point fingers (arguably too much so) at others while being, quite honestly, hopefully rather aware that many of our own countries, cultures, and its populations across the board (and no, I'm not excluding anyone here) would likely be just as easily guilty as MHY is with these things. And no, I'm not blindly defending them, but I also won't point fingers at only one without pointing them everywhere else as well, including those you might think would 'never do such things', because I'm absolutely certain that they would. /continues on in the tags.
