Have we ever talked about maybe bunny and Artie picking up fp as a stray not to officially adopt but bunny sees him around town sleeping in various places clothes always bedraggled and maybe it’s after Oscar died and they haven’t healed from that so FPs this sort of replacement, and Fred’s soooo mad when FPs moving into Oscar’s old room like “you’re not my brother you’re never gonna be my brother” and FPs like “uh I’m not trying to be?” So it’s kinda tense in the house for a while but FPs got a warm bed to sleep in and food in his belly and he thinks he can deal with this weirdo situation in exchange for that lol

And maybe one night he’s up late and hears Fred crying in his room and he doesn’t really do comforting but he remembers when he was little and up late upset about something his mama used to bring him a warm glass of milk so he goes and makes one for Fred, leaves it outside his door with a knock before returning to his room. Fred finds it and asks fp about it the next day and fp shrugs like it’s not a big deal but even in Fred’s state he is not immune to kind gestures!

So anyway they end up becoming friends and spending time together and Fred shows fp his record collection and guitar etc etc they bond over music and comics and stupid teenage boy shit and of course end up kissing each other one time which leads to a bunch of issues and them sneaking around the house to make out and sometimes at night they sneak into each others bed to comfort each other or goof around on less serious nights but there’s always this thing hanging over their heads about what if bunny and Artie find out

it's SO funny that you say that bcs i have spent the past week or so seeing bunnies/the hybe girlies denying that it sounds like a nj song. aside from the nj comparisons and their matching hybe-nose-veneer special, i actually watched the show they were on (r u next) and.. oof 😬 this was the first survival show i watched since izone and it was just as rigged lol. it was such a weird experience. there were SO many trainees who were insanely talented but they constantly criticized by the judges and the trainees who were shit were always praised (and ended up debuting too 🤭) and most of the criticism seemed really random and irrelevant too, almost like they were making up excuses on why they shouldn't debut them. then it turned out hybe already chose this cute concept as well as 4 out of the 6 members (now 5 bcs 1 member left) so other than exposure etc, what was the point in the show at all? like i get having a pre-planned concept but should they not have made that clear at the start? putting all those other trainees through all that when hybe knew they were never gonna debut in this group........ weirdos !!!!! anw just to reiterate how rigged this show is, one of the members of this group was scouted at a bus stop, trained for 1 month, went on the show, was consistently bad but was praised by the judges for no reason, then she somehow won the show and made it into the group, beating out a bunch of very talented girls. i'm not gonna be too harsh but hybe were the ones who purposefully got rid of all the competent singers and talented trainees just to debut members based on vibes only so i can't be too positive about them 🥴

i’ve seen so many tweets like that too and like …. how can u look me in the eyes and tell me that’s not something nj would release ? u can’t! like even aside from the sound, the concept and visuals are all very similar 🥴 let’s be honest here

and yeah, i actually remember that several people were complaining about how rigged that show was and how they were eliminating the best trainees :/ plus, honestly since it’s clear hybe already had decided most of the lineup beforehand, they should have been upfront about that and just said “hey the others are here to get more practice of being a trainee” (kinda like what sm did with nct wish’s show) and called it a day bcs that was a) annoying, and b) unfair and cruel to the other contestants

In June, I posted a short drabble with my OCs, Nick and Matt. It didn't have a good reach, like, at all, but well, who cares. I'm having a good day so I thought that I'll post a story about how they started dating. A confession shot basically. So if you want, you can read it. If not, well, don't.

Ah, school trips. Amazing vibe, warm pre-summer evenings. Time for parties, grills and who knows what else. Perfect time to get closer to your classmates, make new friends, upgrade the existing relationships. Even though it's only lasting a week, that is not an obstacle for a certain boy. Nick Sheridan- a 2nd grader crushing madly on his fellow classmate- Matt Keiser. His little crush-thingy was going on for 5 months now, and he felt like it was the time to finally confess to Matt. Not that he wasn't scared, of course he was. What if he said something dumb? Matt could never talk to him again or treat him as a weirdo. What if Matt wasn't even attracted to guys? Didn't he have a girlfriend some time ago? Nick really was trying to calm down. Although more and more bad thoughts came to his mind with every second. Different scenarios of how wrong this could go didn't make it any better. But he couldn't give up just like that. Not when he's standing before an ideal chance to confess.

Matt, on the other hand, was absolutely oblivious about Nick's crush on him. He didn't realize how often his friend blushed at his sight, or how he was trying to get closer to him- physically and emotionally. Matt, in fact, was blinded by his own feelings. And so the adventures of these messed up teens in love carried on. Little did they know about mutual feelings they had for each other.

The end of the trip was coming closer and closer. Nick knew he couldn't wait any longer or his chance would be gone. He was feeling confident enough to confess, but he didn't want it to be necessarily public. And that was the only thing that stayed in his way. The thing is- except for him and Matt, there were plenty other people in their chalet. Not to mention that they were in fact, surrounded by a bunch of other houses with their classmates who could hear everything. Luckily enough, there was a certain place, far from anyone, where they could be alone- a grand pier at the lakeside.

To Nick's surprise, it was Matt who made the first move. Well, "the first move" is too much to say. Nick didn't know what was going on yet. His friend just casually approached him and said that he had something important to tell him. Nick of course followed him without hesitation and the place Matt took him to was nowhere else than the pier he was thinking about earlier. "Sooo... " Nick started "What did you want to tell me?"

"Look, it's weird and all of sudden" Matt said "But I know I can trust you, and to be fair you're the only person I think could help me" he continued nervously. The other boy just nodded to him to continue "So you came out as gay to us like a year ago, right? But how did you know that... You know? You like dudes?" Matt blurted out without thinking and immediately got red. Nick on the other hand, was pretty chill about it.

"Well, I don't really know. I guess it's one of these things you just... feel?" the blonde answered. He looked into Matt's eyes for a few long seconds. Maybe it was the aura around them that made his insides turn, maybe it was just his crush's presence. "If it's all about what you feel, then... " Matt started, shaking slightly. The brown-eyed teen knew it was his moment. A moment to confess. If only he could find the right words. He tried to say something, but his everything just stopped working. By the force of impulse, he grabbed Nick's shoulders and pressed his lips against his own. They were soft. They were warm. In fact, both of the boys wanted that kiss to last forever, but as soon as they ran out of air, they pulled apart. They looked into each other's eyes once again, smiling. Wild blush went through their faces, they were as red as tomatoes, but it wasn't a problem right now. Nothing was a problem. Nick smiled warmly, as he embraced his crush and whispered in his ear "I've had a massive crush on you, since the first grade actually. You were the reason I realized I'm gay" Matt couldn't help but blush even harder. When they finally let go of one another, they both smiled and Matt said "I don't think I have to say anything right now".

"You definitely don't have to" Nick started "I guess that makes us boyfriends, right?" he asked shyly. "Yeah, I guess. Actually. HELL YES IT DOES" Matt exclaimed, smiling. Adrenaline still rushing through his veins.

And so, the two young lovers went back to their chalet, hand in hand. The shock they both were in made it feel like a fever dream, but it surely wasn't. It was all very real.
