Who is your favourite villain? Who is your least favourite villain?

The favorite is this silver narcissist. I could gush a lot more than what I already do, but this is a Beatrix blog. I adore many villains, and I had considered writing Kuja, but nothing came of that. He meets all my criteria in what I enjoy in a character.  Forget Vivi. My first time playing IX, young me cried over him in the end.

Umm...least favorite... that's tough. If we're going by the more main villains, then Jecht. I never really considered him a villain, and if so, it was by circumstance. I don't dislike him, though. He just so happens to get beat by everyone else. ahah.. I would have preferred Seymour for the X villain in Dissidia.  Just saying.  Even if that would have been another mage user.

that's honestly reassuring since estinien's voice is strangely elusive for me at times. and hopefully alisaie and estinien can work past their differences and maybe realize they can team up and roast alphinaud instead. but i'm genuinely excited about what we have plotted so far since writing with you has been a blast. i cannot get over the depth of your headcanons and you're one to talk about that strong grasp of voice since you have alisaie's down pat!

3. On what platform did you start writing?

Oh jeez. Uhhhh this one is a bit embarrassing imo- So wayyyyy back, I got into this little social platform for furries. I was like, 10, and just saw neat animal characters so I was like 'hell yeah'. The platform (you really can't call it a game, anyway the thing is nearly dead last I checked) was called Furcadia, and it introduced me to rp. I started with just, writing foxes and wolves - it was surprisingly fun ngl. Very tame as well, people were quite nice. I had a knack for writing fights for some reason. ANYWAY that was my start and I think this is the first time I've remotely talked about it - publicly, LOL. I still like anthropomorphic character designs cause they can be super neat and creative, but I'm no longer a part of that scene.

8. Did you have a muse you tried to play, but didn't feel connected to?

I feel like its kind of a common thing for this to happen? At least its been that way with me. I recall it mostly happening with canons and it was a mix of low self-esteem and just, I didn't mesh with the character well. I attempted to write Widowmaker and Junkrat from Overwatch years ago but they never stuck, and I attempted to write Revus Demnevanni from Elder Scrolls Online and he didn't particularly stick writing-wise? He's a strange one and I think it was mostly lack of self-esteem that made me not connect so well with him. When I plotted him a bunch with a friend I met from that rpc, he was easier for me to conceptualize. Nowadays, I'm less connected to him because the friend I plotted so much with kinda left me in regards to rp. (:

33. What are your thoughts on dash commentary?

I love it! Its so fun to get involved in, it really unites the dash imo when weird shit happens and all these muses start reacting to it. Makes for some fun shenanigans, even if it falls more into crack than anything. I get so excited when dash commentary starts, and usually what follows keeps me up writing longer than I should be LOL.

36. Do you feel similar to your muse in any way?

Oh hugely similar, sometimes I worry I project too much tbh. I like to write what I know, and while Rothalion is more extreme in most aspects he's still carrying parts of me. In a way, the similarities are what really connect me to him and make it pretty much impossible for me to lose him as a muse - he's really sticking LOL.

✩▐░▒ Finally, the Astrologian, alongside his fellow echo-blessed Dragoon comrade Selenaire made their way to The Inn at Journey’s Head to rendezvous with Alisaie ( whilst the Warrior of Light is accompanied by the Machinist-turned-Gunbreaker comrade to seek Alphinaud ), directed by the Crystal Exarch. The two crystal chosen friends brought themselves to meet Alisaie first till Akatsuki finishes meeting with Alphinaud in Kholusia & makes her way to the desert lands which were not too different from Thanalan. Admittedly, these high sands were akin to X’luca’s own home back in Sagolii Desert, in fact invoking some of the memories when he was back in his tribe.

At first, the Miqo’te ( or Mystel in this case; knowing the races are known under different names in The First ) could sense something rather off within the aether of all who laid in their sickbeds, taken care by the caregivers who worked there. X’luca couldn’t point out what exactly it is which is wrong, but he knew something felt off. What he learned from one of the caretakers regarding this ‘inn’ loomed a sense of depression & sadness, knowing what the flood has caused for so long to the point many have found themselves little to no hope within them. Nonetheless, he enjoyed conversing with the afflicted whose times were slowly ticking away, while giving comfort for those who barely have time left with his own magic to soothe their pain. The job was depressing, indeed, but he was glad that he is able to provide SUCCOR to those who will meet their inevitable end ( albeit much more favorable ) with their favored food laced in poison lest they turn into Sin Eaters.

X’luca was humming to himself & for a child when he heard a familiar voice from behind speaking to Tesleen. Ears twitched when he immediately recognized it was Alisaie, who seemed to be doing well unlike her limp soulless body back at the source. ❝ —Therrre you are. Tis good to see you well Alisaie, ❞ Swinging his tail sideways back & forth, he greeted the familiar daredevil.
