ALIEN STAGE PREDICTIONS !!!

hey what’s up gang . I would like to start off with Mizi vs. Luka.

they never technically finished their round. Towards the end of the video, we see an error message

Luka never technically moved up to the next round after that. we also see Hyuna unlocking something, but Vivinos stated that her intention was never saving Till

She was most likely adding that special guest screen so that either her or mizi will go up against Luka. I have a gut feeling it’s going to be Mizi, seeing as there’s been a shit ton of art of her AND she’s at the center of a lot of Vivinos art of alnst

Mizi is center focus. I don’t know if this is foreshadowing or SOMETHING but it seems to be like that in a lot of art.

I would also like to put this art down real quick. Does this mean they’re alive? Are they those robot guards we see in a lot of the round episodes? hmm

GOING off of this, here’s what I think will happen;

Listened to BL8M's (Luka's voice actor) cover of kickback and went crazy (felt like crying/srs his voice activated my brain)

It would be so cool if he used that powerful voice on round 7, imagine Luka showing emotion... Getting desperate... Oh ...

Like hear me out Till powered up by his anger at Luka for doing what he did at Mizi + Ivan's sacrifice could be (at least superficially) back to his ground, he could even try to do the same thing he did on unknown and not follow the script, but instead of being shocked Luka menages to keep up..... And we end up with a powerful song that maybe starts calm or sm IDK IF THAT MAKES ANY SENSE

And since I'm talking predictions I'm a big fan of the idea Luka loses but instead of dying by the aliens the one who kills him is Hyuna (somehow) (I really want to see her inner turmoil after killing Luka....)

With Till's bond with Ivan, I interpret it as very "proximity breeds intimacy." With the way Till eventually forms a close bond with Ivan, even if their relationship is not quite as smooth sailing, it's very interpretative of how Till sees people, what he says vs what he does, and whatnot.

Till finds his very first love in Mizi, as it is, it's more puppy love-ish, but seriously, he thinks the world of Mizi. I think the major difference in Ivan and Till is that Till holds no such ideals or expresses that kind of affection for Ivan outwardly- they bicker and fight, but ultimately, they just naturally gravitate towards each other, and they form an inseparable attachment. Although sympathetic, it's not because Till sees Ivan as pitiable or anything of the sort. He genuinely cares because he just does.

Even in the meteor shower scene, it wasn't any hard feelings towards Ivan that made Till turn away, even though in Cure all that Ivan sees if Till's back, that minute's hesitation that we see says Till didn't want to do this with intent to hurt Ivan without a second thought or that he didn't care about it at all

Till is honest with his feelings with no restrictions, he gets pissed with Ivan but Ivan's attachment and want to be close to Till, therefore causing them to spend time together, passively made him grow used to Ivan. To care for him because he inevitably became one of the closest people to Till in his life, and I think it's in the subtlety that we can see Till doesn't really push Ivan away anyway, probably even allows himself to be comfortable with Ivan and seek him out sometimes cause that's just how friends are

Even in that silly intimacy rating chart, Ivan came second to Mizi, with a significant 70%, even though the whole comment section was Till complaining about how much of a nuisance he is, well, that's just the truth... Ivan does things that he can't figure out or that irritate him, like in these instances

And Till is honest about that, but even so, it seems like Till also grew more lenient to Ivan's quirks and got used to his presence over time, the more their relationship was established, Till's relationship with Ivan is like a crash course in trying to find the line of toleration, so I don't want to say sometimes when Ivan comes off intentionally provoking Till isn't just trying to ignore him, but as aforementioned, proximity breeds intimacy, also familiarity. I think, despite all this (especially the Cafeteria scene in Cure, what a story, Ivan intentionally nags Till, and Till, having been so used to it, simply shrugs him off), Till sees Ivan with familiarity, and that's why he doesn't hate him for the things he does, accepts him because even for how guarded his heart is, in io's prayers he would always chase after love and connection. His affection is genuine and unconditional when he cares about someone or something, it took nothing for him to devote his soul to Mizi and to care about Ivan because of the memories they have together

Because Till always loved Ivan, and "love" isn't just restricted to romantic love either, but when Till identifies the ones he cares about and sees as friends, it's always those three... I think one of the hardest things about this dynamic is that Ivan thinks of himself as a mere character in Till's life that he doesn't care about because there's no way a person like Till could care about a person like Ivan to such a degree, it's just unfathomable. But Till always considered Ivan close, what they have may not be as simple as friendship or the like, but it's something close and personal

Next video ivantill childhood TRUST...

We got MIZISUA and ROUND 1 for mizisua, Wiege and All-in for hyuluka, and then ROUND 6 and... what?

We haven't got full confirmation of Till's death AND haven't seen his relation with Ivan from his perspective. At all. Not even in comics. Ivantill childhood video would be peak and wrap up Till's story if they really do wanna kill him.

What I love about alien stage is in it's universe the embodiment of human perfection is a blonde twink with repressed emotions and the person who ends up beating him is an equally repressed but very angry lesbian.

All the things about how Luka is pointing at Hyuna accusingly, which is potentially about Hyunwoos' death, makes me think ..... how exactly would Hyuna have been the cause of his death?

Personally, I just can't see that being the case. So, I propose something else, Hyuna blames herself for letting herself and Hyunwoo become so close to Luka.

Based on this post about the differences in how both Hyuna and Hyunwoo interacted with Luka, we see Luka say some pretty .. odd stuff (eg. "Your life is mine") and Hyuna not taking it all too seriously, and now, in hindsight when she looks back on it, she'd be likely to feel that she should've seen the red flags and put distance between them, or instead feels that if she were 'harder' on Luka, like Hyunwoo was, that he wouldn't have done what he did.

Hyuna chose to lean in to Lukas antics and take his side over Hyunwoos, possibly just regarding their interactions as just 'them being them', not really seeing much seriousness to it, nor the actual harm Luka could bring.

Not to mention that if Hyuna wasn't there when the whole fight went down with Hyunwoo and Luka, then that would be another reason for her to blame herself. She wasn't there to break them apart, to step in when it got serious and prevent the outcome.

(I also have another theory about why Hyunwoo and Luka could've had such a serious fight - involving Hyuna - , but that's for another post, hhaa....)

In her song "Love and Peace" she says this. While it could be about Luka, it feels more likely that this is about Hyunwoo. An apology to him, she's sorry that she wasn't there to protect him or that she wasn't on his side more often, sorry that she trusted Luka. All she can do is hope that Hyunwoo knew how much she truly loved and cared for him.

Behind all of her anger and resentment towards Luka, there's alot of self-blame and guilt hidden. She projects it onto Luka, and this definitely isnt me trying to say that she doesnt hate Luka or hold anything against him because — oh, no she definitely does (rightfully so), alot of it could come from her own self loathing, it's easier for her to take out all of her emotional baggage by pouring it in to hating Luka.

Luka knows this. Which is why he's almost taunting her in the first image .. Like he's trying to tell her "What happened was your fault too". I think she'll come to realise that it wasn't. Or atleast I hope.

Round 7 Predictions

Since we’re only halfway through Alien Stage, I don’t think there will be a Round 7 winner.

There’s a ton of material Q and V could get into if both Till and Luka survive in some way or another. I also think there’s still a lot more left to learn about the lore of Alien Stage as a competition and how the whole system functions for the competition part to end so quickly.

I think Till will be rescued by the rebels at some point, either before or during Round 7. He’ll get to reconnect with Mizi, see how much she’s changed, and hopefully come to see her as less of a godly savior and more of a person.

Freeing Till would also force him to confront his own wants and dreams beyond escaping the competition and taking Mizi with him. What does Till want out of life now that both he and Mizi are free? How does he process all of the shit that went down in the previous rounds, especially Round 6?

As for Luka I think one of two things will happen: (1) he won’t be rescued by the rebels at all or (2) he’s offered the opportunity to leave with them but he refuses.

The second option is definitely more interesting as it will tell us more about Luka’s mindset, but also Hyuna’s if she can choose whether or not a rescue attempt is made for him. It would possibly give us insight into how they feel about each other given the current circumstances.

Either way, I don’t think Luka will leave Alien Stage or rebel against the aliens.

What would be his reason to? He’s the face of the whole competition. His status within the alien society has provided him with a lot of access that he could possibly not be able to live without, given his chronic illnesses.

But more than that, I think he’ll stay for personal reasons. Fame? Accolades? Ego? Maybe a mix of all three? Or perhaps some long buried guilt or remorse? There’s still a lot we don’t know about his feelings and motivations.

Personally I think he’s too interesting of a character to kill off so soon (a.k.a. I want to study him under a microscope).

Now this next part is me being delusional, so I’m putting it under the cut.

So,

If Till is rescued before Round 7 starts, that leaves Luka as the winner by default. But that’d probably be pretty boring as a finale for the audience.

How do they spice things up? By healing/reviving Ivan and putting him up against Luka.

Think about it: they’re both insanely popular in-universe, they’re somewhat equally matched in terms of singing ability, and they’re both considered pretty boys.

Think of the fashion! Think of the theatrics!! The material is LITERALLY. RIGHT. THERE.

In my opinion they’re two of the most complex characters in the cast, but they haven’t had much (if any) direct interaction with one another. I’d like to see how their similarities and differences stack up once they’re side by side, and what that tells us about each of them.

They’re also both weirdos (in their own ways), so putting them head to head would be the ultimate Freak (derogatory) vs. Freak (affectionate) final showdown.

And if Ivan were to win, he would essentially take over Luka’s role as the face of Alien Stage. How would that affect him personally? What would he do with his life after?

If he learns that Till managed to escape with the rebels, would Ivan still want to escape on his own? Or would he be content to stay put with the knowledge that Till is free?

Similar to Till with Mizi, who is Ivan beyond helping and supporting Till? What are his hopes and dreams?

Next Alien Stage video that will most likely be focused on Mizi… I want to see her having to confront the idyllic past she craves to return to and how it was never as gentle as her memories would serve her to believe, only that she was naive to the reality around her because of her upbringing and being actively shielded from the truth. I want her to realize that this was not entirely her fault, that while at Anakt her loved ones could have told her the truth but didn’t, that her perfect Sua didn’t. Then she has a grief- and anger-fueled breakdown like in Round 5.

no but seriously imagine it:

round 7. on stage, there’s till and luka looking devastatingly pretty as is custom. the music starts and till takes over the performance with a heart wrenching ballad amounting to “what the fuck. why the fuck. what the fuck” and luka is just like wtf and near the end of the song, till gives up. what’s the point? what use is fighting anymore? and when the music meets a natural lull, over the speakers comes from somewhere off-stage, a haunting rendition of my clematis in minor key “oh, my clematis // hope bloomed through the abyss” and a giant hole is blasted into the side of the stadium and as the smoke clears, mizi marches in with the fury of god in her eyes and hyuna is right behind her punching aliens left and right, the rebellion members streaming in. the stadium erupts into chaos, alien blood and guts flying every which way and there stands till lonesome on the stage. and if that’s not enough, ivan walks on stage bc he faked his death with the resistance or smth it was all part of the plan to get to this moment here and he gets to kiss till silly for real this time

(luka’s role in all of this is up to reader interpretation, whether u believe he’s just an insane manipulative egomaniac or he purposefully forced mizi to snap during their performance so the rebellion could use the moment of chaos to strike. u decide bb)

dewey alien stage has wormed his way into my brain

Luka is very good at keeping himself composed on stage, mostly with the help of maintaining track of his heart rate, but during Mizi's attack in ROMH he seemed to slip up, not only was the red background a tell-tale sign of Mizi's violent intentions but it was a more symbolic way of showing Luka in quite visceral fear. Even if for only a second.

I'm not convinced Luka will be as continuously calculated as he normally comes off, it all seems too fake to me. Because it is. It’s a similar case to Ivan who can't feel, isn't normal, isn't human enough so he makes a persona to blend in. So Luka, whoever he is, makes this version of himself to cope with what he has to live through, pretending like he's on top of it all to survive in this world.

So in round 7, I think something drastic will happen to make him 'snap' in a way.

It's safe to say that we don't know Luka. We don't know who he really is. We don't know his real desires. But we do know one thing--he is scared. he is afraid of the aliens. That's why he appeases them--being their trophy. He's only kept around for his purpose as an entertainer and nothing else and he's very aware of that. He knows very well that a dented trophy will be discarded; with that mindset, he's been able to get so far, and he's scared of losing. That's why he holds any little thing he can get his hands on close. And an important extension of that fear is his fear of losing power.

Till should be the more likely in this position, given he's such a rebel. But isn't that just too predictable? Keep in mind, that Till is a strong person. Even after all he's been through, even after he's been beaten into something more manageable for the aliens--He still hasn't lost his spark. Till is a raging storm. subdued but nonetheless a force to be reckoned with.

Round 6's effect on Till is greatly ambiguous for now but at this point when the time for round 7 comes, Till has been put through so much hell. Whatever Luka does to provoke him probably won't work, he and Luka are equally talented individuals and will make for an intense battle, and at the end of the day, the numbers won't lie. Exactly that is what Luka is ready for but scared of--a worthy opponent for the throne. Someone capable of stripping him of his power. (Is fear what makes Luka so dismissive?)

It would be so aggravating that this 'pest'. who is so indignant, so rebellious (in a way Luka envies.), could so easily destroy everything Luka has worked for, disregard every pain Luka has been through to get to this point, and Till doesn't value this throne as much as Luka does, and Luka doesn't want to feel the pain of death anymore. If his facade is as destructible as I think it is, that will be what ultimately brings out Luka.

This idea may be flawed. Luka is so perfect, too perfect and confident and experienced for something as little as that to break him, just think of all the training Luka went through to get to this point. I'm positive he's very aware of what playing unfairly will lead to. But isn't there always room for a wild card?

Just remember what happened to Hyun-woo.

What happened here isn't fully explained (and probably will be in round 7) but imagine Luka: "Trophy child, goody two shoes" Luka possibly killing another human. Whether by accident or not, what happened?--what and how did Luka feel in the moment for the repercussions of whatever happened to be that bad?

A Luka that is secretly greatly insecure, pliable, and defensive enough that in a spur of emotions, he can’t help but lose his cool in a way he hasn’t in a while because he’s afraid—just to try and prove he is still valuable. That is the type of character I theorize we'll come to see in round 7.
