ALIEN STAGE PREDICTIONS !!!

hey what’s up gang . I would like to start off with Mizi vs. Luka.

they never technically finished their round. Towards the end of the video, we see an error message

Luka never technically moved up to the next round after that. we also see Hyuna unlocking something, but Vivinos stated that her intention was never saving Till

She was most likely adding that special guest screen so that either her or mizi will go up against Luka. I have a gut feeling it’s going to be Mizi, seeing as there’s been a shit ton of art of her AND she’s at the center of a lot of Vivinos art of alnst

Mizi is center focus. I don’t know if this is foreshadowing or SOMETHING but it seems to be like that in a lot of art.

I would also like to put this art down real quick. Does this mean they’re alive? Are they those robot guards we see in a lot of the round episodes? hmm

GOING off of this, here’s what I think will happen;

Listened to BL8M's (Luka's voice actor) cover of kickback and went crazy (felt like crying/srs his voice activated my brain)

It would be so cool if he used that powerful voice on round 7, imagine Luka showing emotion... Getting desperate... Oh ...

Like hear me out Till powered up by his anger at Luka for doing what he did at Mizi + Ivan's sacrifice could be (at least superficially) back to his ground, he could even try to do the same thing he did on unknown and not follow the script, but instead of being shocked Luka menages to keep up..... And we end up with a powerful song that maybe starts calm or sm IDK IF THAT MAKES ANY SENSE

And since I'm talking predictions I'm a big fan of the idea Luka loses but instead of dying by the aliens the one who kills him is Hyuna (somehow) (I really want to see her inner turmoil after killing Luka....)

All the things about how Luka is pointing at Hyuna accusingly, which is potentially about Hyunwoos' death, makes me think ..... how exactly would Hyuna have been the cause of his death?

Personally, I just can't see that being the case. So, I propose something else, Hyuna blames herself for letting herself and Hyunwoo become so close to Luka.

Based on this post about the differences in how both Hyuna and Hyunwoo interacted with Luka, we see Luka say some pretty .. odd stuff (eg. "Your life is mine") and Hyuna not taking it all too seriously, and now, in hindsight when she looks back on it, she'd be likely to feel that she should've seen the red flags and put distance between them, or instead feels that if she were 'harder' on Luka, like Hyunwoo was, that he wouldn't have done what he did.

Hyuna chose to lean in to Lukas antics and take his side over Hyunwoos, possibly just regarding their interactions as just 'them being them', not really seeing much seriousness to it, nor the actual harm Luka could bring.

Not to mention that if Hyuna wasn't there when the whole fight went down with Hyunwoo and Luka, then that would be another reason for her to blame herself. She wasn't there to break them apart, to step in when it got serious and prevent the outcome.

(I also have another theory about why Hyunwoo and Luka could've had such a serious fight - involving Hyuna - , but that's for another post, hhaa....)

In her song "Love and Peace" she says this. While it could be about Luka, it feels more likely that this is about Hyunwoo. An apology to him, she's sorry that she wasn't there to protect him or that she wasn't on his side more often, sorry that she trusted Luka. All she can do is hope that Hyunwoo knew how much she truly loved and cared for him.

Behind all of her anger and resentment towards Luka, there's alot of self-blame and guilt hidden. She projects it onto Luka, and this definitely isnt me trying to say that she doesnt hate Luka or hold anything against him because — oh, no she definitely does (rightfully so), alot of it could come from her own self loathing, it's easier for her to take out all of her emotional baggage by pouring it in to hating Luka.

Luka knows this. Which is why he's almost taunting her in the first image .. Like he's trying to tell her "What happened was your fault too". I think she'll come to realise that it wasn't. Or atleast I hope.

Luka is very good at keeping himself composed on stage, mostly with the help of maintaining track of his heart rate, but during Mizi's attack in ROMH he seemed to slip up, not only was the red background a tell-tale sign of Mizi's violent intentions but it was a more symbolic way of showing Luka in quite visceral fear. Even if for only a second.

I'm not convinced Luka will be as continuously calculated as he normally comes off, it all seems too fake to me. Because it is. It’s a similar case to Ivan who can't feel, isn't normal, isn't human enough so he makes a persona to blend in. So Luka, whoever he is, makes this version of himself to cope with what he has to live through, pretending like he's on top of it all to survive in this world.

So in round 7, I think something drastic will happen to make him 'snap' in a way.

It's safe to say that we don't know Luka. We don't know who he really is. We don't know his real desires. But we do know one thing--he is scared. he is afraid of the aliens. That's why he appeases them--being their trophy. He's only kept around for his purpose as an entertainer and nothing else and he's very aware of that. He knows very well that a dented trophy will be discarded; with that mindset, he's been able to get so far, and he's scared of losing. That's why he holds any little thing he can get his hands on close. And an important extension of that fear is his fear of losing power.

Till should be the more likely in this position, given he's such a rebel. But isn't that just too predictable? Keep in mind, that Till is a strong person. Even after all he's been through, even after he's been beaten into something more manageable for the aliens--He still hasn't lost his spark. Till is a raging storm. subdued but nonetheless a force to be reckoned with.

Round 6's effect on Till is greatly ambiguous for now but at this point when the time for round 7 comes, Till has been put through so much hell. Whatever Luka does to provoke him probably won't work, he and Luka are equally talented individuals and will make for an intense battle, and at the end of the day, the numbers won't lie. Exactly that is what Luka is ready for but scared of--a worthy opponent for the throne. Someone capable of stripping him of his power. (Is fear what makes Luka so dismissive?)

It would be so aggravating that this 'pest'. who is so indignant, so rebellious (in a way Luka envies.), could so easily destroy everything Luka has worked for, disregard every pain Luka has been through to get to this point, and Till doesn't value this throne as much as Luka does, and Luka doesn't want to feel the pain of death anymore. If his facade is as destructible as I think it is, that will be what ultimately brings out Luka.

This idea may be flawed. Luka is so perfect, too perfect and confident and experienced for something as little as that to break him, just think of all the training Luka went through to get to this point. I'm positive he's very aware of what playing unfairly will lead to. But isn't there always room for a wild card?

Just remember what happened to Hyun-woo.

What happened here isn't fully explained (and probably will be in round 7) but imagine Luka: "Trophy child, goody two shoes" Luka possibly killing another human. Whether by accident or not, what happened?--what and how did Luka feel in the moment for the repercussions of whatever happened to be that bad?

A Luka that is secretly greatly insecure, pliable, and defensive enough that in a spur of emotions, he can’t help but lose his cool in a way he hasn’t in a while because he’s afraid—just to try and prove he is still valuable. That is the type of character I theorize we'll come to see in round 7.

We got MIZISUA and ROUND 1 for mizisua, Wiege and All-in for hyuluka, and then ROUND 6 and... what?

We haven't got full confirmation of Till's death AND haven't seen his relation with Ivan from his perspective. At all. Not even in comics. Ivantill childhood video would be peak and wrap up Till's story if they really do wanna kill him.

Round 7 Predictions

Since we’re only halfway through Alien Stage, I don’t think there will be a Round 7 winner.

There’s a ton of material Q and V could get into if both Till and Luka survive in some way or another. I also think there’s still a lot more left to learn about the lore of Alien Stage as a competition and how the whole system functions for the competition part to end so quickly.

I think Till will be rescued by the rebels at some point, either before or during Round 7. He’ll get to reconnect with Mizi, see how much she’s changed, and hopefully come to see her as less of a godly savior and more of a person.

Freeing Till would also force him to confront his own wants and dreams beyond escaping the competition and taking Mizi with him. What does Till want out of life now that both he and Mizi are free? How does he process all of the shit that went down in the previous rounds, especially Round 6?

As for Luka I think one of two things will happen: (1) he won’t be rescued by the rebels at all or (2) he’s offered the opportunity to leave with them but he refuses.

The second option is definitely more interesting as it will tell us more about Luka’s mindset, but also Hyuna’s if she can choose whether or not a rescue attempt is made for him. It would possibly give us insight into how they feel about each other given the current circumstances.

Either way, I don’t think Luka will leave Alien Stage or rebel against the aliens.

What would be his reason to? He’s the face of the whole competition. His status within the alien society has provided him with a lot of access that he could possibly not be able to live without, given his chronic illnesses.

But more than that, I think he’ll stay for personal reasons. Fame? Accolades? Ego? Maybe a mix of all three? Or perhaps some long buried guilt or remorse? There’s still a lot we don’t know about his feelings and motivations.

Personally I think he’s too interesting of a character to kill off so soon (a.k.a. I want to study him under a microscope).

Now this next part is me being delusional, so I’m putting it under the cut.

So,

If Till is rescued before Round 7 starts, that leaves Luka as the winner by default. But that’d probably be pretty boring as a finale for the audience.

How do they spice things up? By healing/reviving Ivan and putting him up against Luka.

Think about it: they’re both insanely popular in-universe, they’re somewhat equally matched in terms of singing ability, and they’re both considered pretty boys.

Think of the fashion! Think of the theatrics!! The material is LITERALLY. RIGHT. THERE.

In my opinion they’re two of the most complex characters in the cast, but they haven’t had much (if any) direct interaction with one another. I’d like to see how their similarities and differences stack up once they’re side by side, and what that tells us about each of them.

They’re also both weirdos (in their own ways), so putting them head to head would be the ultimate Freak (derogatory) vs. Freak (affectionate) final showdown.

And if Ivan were to win, he would essentially take over Luka’s role as the face of Alien Stage. How would that affect him personally? What would he do with his life after?

If he learns that Till managed to escape with the rebels, would Ivan still want to escape on his own? Or would he be content to stay put with the knowledge that Till is free?

Similar to Till with Mizi, who is Ivan beyond helping and supporting Till? What are his hopes and dreams?

So, we all agree Round 7 has the potential to be the part where Till comes to terms with what happened to him and decides to fight for himself (for freedom, for humanity), right?

Well, I suggest this:

Mizi, an embodiment of childlike purity, tainted by grief and rage — represents loss of something he could never get back. Her child self is dead and gone, and in its place is a fire that fuels Till’s voice. Till screams at the audience and Mizi screams with him. They are angry, and they crave retribution.

Ivan is the cold, cruel reality that tells of manipulation, of violence and selfish intentions. He is the world that sculpted Till into what he is. It is painful, but it is real and it’s not just about the hurt it inflicts on Till, it is about sacrifice, the small moments of tenderness and the pure, unadulterated desire to find belonging. To be loved. It is not the perfect goodness Till strived for, but it is beautiful, it exists, and it is something that can be fought for.

When Till croons into the microphone like Ivan did, he is looking Ivan in the eyes. And it is not just Ivan or the world looking back— it is Till himself.

no but seriously imagine it:

round 7. on stage, there’s till and luka looking devastatingly pretty as is custom. the music starts and till takes over the performance with a heart wrenching ballad amounting to “what the fuck. why the fuck. what the fuck” and luka is just like wtf and near the end of the song, till gives up. what’s the point? what use is fighting anymore? and when the music meets a natural lull, over the speakers comes from somewhere off-stage, a haunting rendition of my clematis in minor key “oh, my clematis // hope bloomed through the abyss” and a giant hole is blasted into the side of the stadium and as the smoke clears, mizi marches in with the fury of god in her eyes and hyuna is right behind her punching aliens left and right, the rebellion members streaming in. the stadium erupts into chaos, alien blood and guts flying every which way and there stands till lonesome on the stage. and if that’s not enough, ivan walks on stage bc he faked his death with the resistance or smth it was all part of the plan to get to this moment here and he gets to kiss till silly for real this time

(luka’s role in all of this is up to reader interpretation, whether u believe he’s just an insane manipulative egomaniac or he purposefully forced mizi to snap during their performance so the rebellion could use the moment of chaos to strike. u decide bb)

Sweet Dream is probably the Alien Stage video with the most rewatchability especially if you have been following this series when it first started like I was (It’s pretty obvious since it’s literally the series’s prologue that introduces the main cast) but I’ve been pretty wary of this particular scene since recently especially considering the fact that Hyuna and Mizi are now going to do a ambush in Round 7. I know a lot of fans of Vivinos think of the worst case scenario when it comes to their darker content and I have a feeling Hyuna might get arrested. However, I think this scene might symbolize that Hyuna is a victim of oppression like the other humans and that she is the leader of the main rebellion in the series like the handcuffs signify. I’m trying to not take a scene like this too literal or serious but considering past track record, it might happen.

My Weige Predictions/Ponderings

I am under the impression that Luka does genuinely love Hyuna, but due to his upbringing, the way he presents his love is not healthy (for himself or the people around him). I have a feeling that this effect doesn't stop at just Hyuna and love. We see that no one really hangs out with him except for Hyuna and Hyunwoo. Perhaps his maladaptive coping mechanisms drove away potential friends, further isolating Luka to the 'love' of his seigyein.

Based off of that impression, I am also under the impression that Luka killed Hyunwoo to gain Hyuna's attention. She clearly loves her brother, and perhaps in Luka's maladapted mind, if Hyunwoo were gone, then Hyuna's love/attention would be all for him. Perhaps his seigyein used similarly abusive tactics against him.

Hyuna has been ignoring Luka, both in the teaser and throughout other rounds. In the past, she seems to have been the only one to have given him much attention, and that ultimately led to Hyunwoo's death. Perhaps she's trying the opposite tactic of giving him minimal attention? (Or it's a reaction to the painful memories that Luka brings up, plus being busy with the revolution) It was what all the other kids had done, after all.

If that's the case, I have a feeling that it will fail. In the trailer, there is a gun being held to Luka's head and he doesn't pay it much mind. Luka has been stated to have been trained to overcome fear, so the gun is probably not going to keep him at bay (I wonder if Hyuna is aware of Luka's lack of fear? Was the gun to intimidate Luka or threaten the aliens that are so obsessed with him?). Also, side thought: Luka's earpiece is still in. Will we see it turn red during this round?

I think Hyuna will try to give some sort of moving performance to the crowd (much like her actions in the Our Diva comic) that highlights the abuse committed by Anakt Garden, and the treatment of humans in general. However, Luka will try to get her attention, undermining her performance and message. How will Hyuna react? She can't just kill him to get him out of the way; he's too beloved by the seigyein (and I doubt she would want to see him dead anyway). What will the seigyein do if Hyuna's attempt fails? Will they kill her? How would Luka react if they did?

And finally, Mizi. How does she factor into Hyuna's plan? If Luka were to interrupt the performance, would Mizi step-up and continue it in Hyuna's place? Luka has won this round of Alien Stage, so would he feel the need to out-compete Mizi? Or would he focus his attention on Hyuna? Mizi being kidnapped from the stage only to be seen alive and relatively safe might raise interest amongst the seigyein.

Though I doubt Weige will spend much time, if any, on Mizi. Her role will probably be more involved in a future episode. So many questions! Can't wait to find answers on the 14th!

You know what? It still messes me up that Sua and Ivan were dressed in white when they died while Mizi and Till were dressed in black. Dressed for a wedding vs dressed for a funeral vibes, of course. But you know what REALLY has me messed up? Till was wearing GREEN....like whats that all about? AND MIZI WAS STILL WEARING BLACK????? And on top of that you know who is dressed in white?
