Hello. I just recently started watching Alice in Borderland. During that time, for some inexplicable reason, two people grew close to my heart - Takatora Samura and Shuntarō Chishiya. I don't know if you can write scenarios too…if not, pick one of them and do a oneshot. How would he react/How would they react if their girlfriend had a nightmare?

Time for another multi-character post!

♦️Shuntarō Chishiya

Chishiya was still up, his mind wandering, thinking about this and that when suddenly you started to flinch in you sleep. He looked over and watched how you threw your head from left to right, your hair one big mess.

He knew what was going on, you’re most likely having a nightmare, nothing health related. Still he was thinking about intervening, not wanting to watch you suffer trough the pictures your brain was showing you.

Right as he wanted to wake you up, you open your eyes, sleepy but still scared. You caught his gaze that was eyeing you thoroughly. It was like he was sucking up your discomfort, like a towel sucking up water. Making the place less messy, taking the water in, not taking any damage by it and being able to be wrung out at a different place where it won’t bother anyone.

Chishiya didn’t have to try to comfort you, he did it by simply being his calm self. His relaxed expression took over you, making you realize that there is nothing to be afraid of.

„You alright?“, he asked, eyes still fixated on you.

„I think so“, you said, shifting closer to him.

His arm found its way around your shoulders, inviting you to let your body rest against his.

„You wanna talk about it?“, he asked next, right after your head found its spot on his chest, listening to the beat of his heart and feeling the rising and sinking of his chest.

„Not right now“, you answered, getting more drowsy by ever second passing.

He hummed in agreement and tangles is fingers on your hair, massaging your scalp while watching you drifting back to sleep again.

♦️Suguru Niragi

Niragi has never been faster on his feet when he heard your pleading and crying. Still naked from your evening activities he jumped up and grabbed his gun that leaned next to him against the wall.

Without knowing where to aim he just swung his weapon from left to right, joining in on your screaming. „What the fuck is going on?“

He was still scanning the room when he reached over to the lamp on his bedside table and turned it on.

„What are you doing?“, you mumbled, awoken from the loud noises. „What I‘m doing?“ Niragi asked appalled. „You screamed! I thought someone tried to-“ harm you, he wanted to say but swallowed this part of the sentence. No way he would admit that he actually cared about you.

He secured the gun and leaned it against the wall again before sitting down on his side of the bed. „I thought someone was inside.“

You shook your head, embarrassment flooded through your whole body. „I had a nightmare“, you mumbled rather quietly and turned on your left side to face away from Niragi.

„Oh“, he answered, unsure how to react. He was conflicted of what to do next and crept extra slowly under the sheets so he would have some extra time to think.

The room went dark again and you tried to close your eyes again, but you couldn’t, the nightmare still in front of your eyes.

„If I could shoot dreams and thoughts, I would“, Niragi suddenly whispered next to you.

If you would have turned around you would have seen how he lifted his arm, thinking about wrapping it around you, before he let it sink on the mattress again.

You smiled, touched by his words. For his standards, this was a really heartwarming thing to say.

♠️ Takatora Samura (Last Boss)

Your shifting in bed alone made Last Boss wake up from his light sleep. His first instinct was to grab the katana next to the bed but he realized instantly that there was no intruder. At least not a human one.

Tense you laid next to him, legs pulled to your stomach and your hands were clenched to fists.

He let go off his katana, sat up and watched how your face was formed to a struggling grimace. That’s when he decided to wake you up.

With his hand on your shoulder he shook you slightly to pull you out of your discomforting sleep.

Your eyes flew open and you grabbed his hand as if it was a reflex. You let go of it just as fast but he didn’t move it, in case you decided you want to grab it again, which you did after getting rid of the last bit of drowsiness.

You sat up, his hand in yours and felt the gaze of his eyes on your face. Last Boss‘ head was cocked to the side, waiting for you to explain what was going on just seconds ago.

The minutes that flew by weren’t minded by him, he gave you all the time you needed before you finally spoke. „I dreamt bad again.“

He nodded, his dark eyes never leaving your face that was brightened by the moonlight falling through the window, while you slowly but surely caught yourself again, the steady grip of his hand being more helpful than he might have thought.

„Let’s just lay down again“, you suggested while doing exactly that.

With silent agreement Last Boss laid back down too, his hand still in yours. It comforted him just as much as it comforted you.

♠️ Hikari Kuina

Kuina was woken up by your turning and shifting in her arms and by the pleading words that left your lips, single words swallowed by the sleep you were still in.

„Baby?“, she whispered tiredly but was bright awake as soon as you mumbled another „No, please no“.

It was the first night ever that you slept in Kuinas room, but she knew about the nightmares that haunted you.

„Baby“, she said, now louder, to wake you up and softly stroke over your hair. „Wake up.“

It took a few seconds and one light shaking from Kuina to get you to wake up but when you did, you took one deep breath, as if you just breathed for the first time in minutes.

„Dreams again?“, Kuina asked before you had to recall the events and explain. You nodded while Kuina went back to petting your hair.

„Everything’s okay, sweetheart“, she whispered into your ear, giving your cheek a quick peck. „I‘m here.“

Those sweet words were like a lullaby, that send you right back into your drowsy state and finally you fell into the first relaxing sleep of the week, thanks to Kuinas reassuring whispers.

♣️ Kodai Tatta

You scared the living shit out of Tatta when you suddenly started to loudly beg for help in your sleep.

He shrieked out of his sleep and sat up straight in a heartbeat, while you still squirmed next to him.

„Hey“, he said, unsure what to do. He worried that it he touched you he would just scare you more, but when his words didn’t cut through the layer of sleep you were in, he decided to place his hand on your shoulder.

„Hey“, he tried again, this time bringing his head closer to yours. And indeed, your eyes finally opened. Your look was a mix of fear and tiredness.

„You screamed for help. Did you dream bad?“, he asked while watching you how you pushed yourself up to sit. Still a little bit overwhelmed you nodded and searched for Tattas hand.

He reacted almost stressed when he saw your hand searching for his and with a speed like his life depended on it, he grabbed it and linked his fingers with yours.

„It’s all right. You’re awake now“, he tried to sound supporting, but failed. He wasn’t good at this.

„Yeah“, you nodded, happy that he was there, even though he was just as overwhelmed as you. „I‘m awake now.“

You guided his hand around your shoulder and snuggled up against his body, your head on his chest while listening to his steady, always a bit fast, heartbeat.

Part 1

It had been almost two weeks since Last Boss gave you the first stone at the pool. Ever since, you'd found more nearly every day outside your door. Each one was beautiful and polished; he'd clearly put effort into cleaning them. Still, you weren't sure what to make of the situation. It was a thoughtful gesture, but wouldn't it be easier if he just came and talked to you?

The small collection on your bedside table had grown into a neat pile of unique stones. Every night, you found yourself inspecting them, running your fingers over their smooth surfaces as you wondered about their meaning. Were they a symbol of friendship? Gratitude? Or something more? His silence only deepened the mystery, but you couldn't deny the flutter in your chest each time you discovered another stone waiting for you.

After weeks of wondering, you decided it was time to act. When you found yet another stone at your door that morning, you rushed inside, grabbed a pen and paper, and quickly scribbled down a short note. Once satisfied with your message, you folded the paper and slipped it under the door of Last Boss's room.

As the sun dipped below the horizon a few hours later, you sat on the roof of the Beach, your legs dangling over the edge as you gazed down at the quiet pool below. The soft hum of the hotel's lights reflected off the still water, adding a sense of calm to the evening.

Suddenly, a piece of paper appeared in front of your face. You blinked and looked at it—your own messy handwriting stared back at you: "Can we meet? Pool, after sunset. - Y/N."

Startled, you turned to see Last Boss standing behind you. He looked hesitant, his gaze shifting between the note in his hand and you. When you offered him a small smile, his shoulders relaxed, and he stepped forward to sit down beside you, leaving a polite amount of space between you.

"Hey," you greeted softly, trying to ease the tension.

He gave you a short nod in reply but remained silent. His dark eyes stayed on you, unblinking, and you felt heat rise to your cheeks under his steady gaze. Before you could say more, he reached into his pocket and pulled out another stone. This one was different. It wasn't just polished—it had a delicate carving etched into its surface. He handed it to you silently.

You turned the stone over in your hands, marveling at the intricate detail. The carving was of a small flower, its petals carefully shaped. "This is beautiful," you whispered, looking up at him. "Did you make this?"

He nodded again, still quiet.

"Thank you. I really appreciate it," you said sincerely. Gathering your courage, you asked the question that had been on your mind for weeks. "But… why?"

He hesitated, his gaze shifting to the pool below. Finally, in a low, halting voice, he answered. "I… don't talk much," he admitted, his tone careful, as though he wasn't used to speaking. The sound of his voice surprised you—you hadn't heard him say a single word before now. "But I wanted you to know. I like you."

The simplicity of his words carried an unexpected weight, making your heart skip a beat. You looked down at the carved stone again, your fingers tracing the flower. "You've been telling me that all along, haven't you? With the stones?"

He nodded once more, his expression slightly tense. "I didn't know how else."

A soft laugh escaped you, and a smile tugged at your lips. "You could've just said it," you teased gently, though your tone was warm and free of judgment. "But… I like this. It's sweet."

His dark eyes softened, and he glanced at you briefly. "You do?"

"I do," you said with certainty. "And… I like you too."

For the first time, you saw the faintest hint of a smile tug at the corners of his lips. It was small but genuine, and it made your chest ache in the best way. The two of you sat there for a while longer, the silence now filled with a shared understanding. When he finally spoke again, his voice was steadier, though still quiet.

"Will you… keep the stones?" he asked, almost shyly.

You laughed softly, holding up the carved one. "Of course I will. Every single one."

He nodded, a faint blush coloring his cheeks. As the stars began to reflect in the still water below, you realized this was the beginning of something meaningful. Something delicate and precious, like the stones he gave you—a quiet promise worth cherishing.

• Instead of approaching Usagi at the pool in front of everyone. Aguni is present when Arisu and Usagi finds the Beach

• He offers her a place on the militants and Usagi accepts.

Aguni to the other militants: This is your new sister

• They don’t accept her until they see her climbing the Beach building to get to the Breakfast first

• She would teach the other members survival skills

• Also Usagi and Last Boss friendship, she’s a mountain climber and Last Boss in the manga is obsessed with famous explorers, I think they would find common ground

• I think they would bond first and Niragi would start crashing their conversations about survival.

• Niragi would take his role as an older brother very seriously. He would threaten Arisu until both of them reassured him that they only were friends

• We see that Usagi clearly knows some fighting during the Queen of Spades game.

• Usagi could have a bigger role during the plan to steal the cards. She could probably keep them away long enough that Arisu has time to fully look over the room, so Chishiya doesn’t have to betray them in order to find the hiding spot.

• Just the parallels of Hatter taking Arisu under his wing while Usagi becomes Aguni’s prodigy

• Instead of Arisu joining Heiya and Aguni it’s Usagi

Usagi: So he adopted you too?

Heiya: Yes, he told me about the militants. You were definitely his favorite.

• They succeed in killing the King of Spades in the woods in this AU

• So the Queen of Hearts probably happen the same way as in the manga. Where they play Rock Paper Scissors of which two should go into the arena.

(Because I strongly believe the reason why Aguni asked for Usagi at the pool was because he remembered her from the Tag game. And knew she was a capable player that would make a good militant.)

it was a mistake to go into the hearts game. three people left - only one winner allowed. you tremble where you stand as the stranger makes a run for it. samura stands frozen, his chosen katana limp and unused in his hand.

"this is it, i guess," your voice wobbles. the other two bodies lay on the floor around you, lasers shot between their eyes. you gulp back the tears you feel to smile at your long-time friend. "you, me or them. who do you think will win this time?"

samura stares at you blankly. he'd changed since arriving at the beach - a confident, bloodthirsty part of him surfacing from nowhere. he's still my friend, you remind yourself daily, still my samura.

running echoes at the third person arrives back in the center of the building. they pant, holding back a scream as they see the two of you again. a maze - a circular maze is what you find yourself in. no way out, only one way in.

the stranger takes off again, to the left this time. you look back at samura, "they're really giving it their all."

he grabs your waist, pulling you to him and grabbing the hilt of his katana within the same second. your eyes widen, but you stay put. a harsh, pitiful kiss is pressed to your head before he speaks.

"we win." the katana slices into your chest - samura pushes until it's through his own, sticking the both of you together. "we always win."

the sound of a congragulations! is the last thing you hear.

Your original plan used to be to focus on your survival. You had thought that it would be a good strategy to join The Beach and work together with the other members there. That was until you met him.

Last Boss, that’s what everyone calls him. He is for sure a person you would call a freak back in the old world, but maybe this did wake your interest in him. He has shaved his head bald and his body is full with tattoos that seem to have no meaning at all. Since he is part of the militants, he’s allowed to carry a weapon with him but instead of a gun like all the others usually use, he always has a katana with him.

You feel weirdly drawn to him and even though you have tried to hide it, your interest in him got noticed soon.

„She’s around you again“, Niragi whispered to Last Boss who leaned on his katana. „I bet the next card that she’s into you.“

Last Boss shot an annoyed glance at him, before he looked into your direction. Your eyes met and he quickly looked away again.

„What did I say?“, Niragi cooed, eyeing the way you blushed. „Talk to her before someone else does it.“

„Why should I?“ Last Boss asked annoyed. Usually he and Niragi went along pretty good, under different circumstances he maybe would have even saw him as a friend, but now was one of the times where Niragi was going on his last nerves.

„You can’t tell me that you don’t think she‘s hot.“ Last Boss just shrugged. „It doesn’t matter. Nothing matters.“ Niragi threw his arms in the air and sighed dramatically. „That‘s the point! Just fuck her or whatever you wanna do. You could die any second, literally. Just have some fun as long as you can dude.“

Truth be told, Last Boss actually had you in his sight for quite some time. Something about you caught his eye but he couldn’t really say what exactly.

Again Niragi sighed theatrical and then suddenly walked away. „What are you doing?“ Last Boss asked, even though he exactly know what Niragis plan was. And he definitely wasn’t up to any good. „You basically fuck her with your eyes, if you don’t talk to her, I will. Maybe you get a bit more chill when you finally get some.“

With that Niragi turned around and walked up to you. „Hey! You!“ You looked up, more afraid of his gun than himself. „My friend over there thinks you’re hot but he is a pussy so he won’t ever shoot his shot. You’re coming with me.“

You wanted to reply something but Niragi was already aiming at you, so you swallowed your comment and followed him. As you two approached Last Boss you became a bit slower. You were nervous because it was the first time you would actually be around him. But it seemed that Niragi didn’t like the fact that you walked slower, because he suddenly grabbed your wrist harshly and pushed you into Last Boss‘ direction.

The way Niragi touched you made him see red. He could do that with anyone else but the moment Last Boss saw you he knew that he would chop off every hand that was layed on you. So he pushed Niragi off of you and as he was sure there would be a safe distance between you and his katana he swung his weapon, stopping his motions right un front of Niragis face, blade being incredibly close to his nose.

„Finally“, Niragi laughed not being worried about getting his face cut open. Then he turned around and left.

Needless to say your first real interaction with each other was kind of chaotic, but Niragis plan worked. You two became inseparable over the time and Last Boss was soon more around you than he was around Niragi or the other militants.

And the more time you two spent, the harder he fell for you. It was so obvious too. He threatened anyone who would just look at you, he talked a lot with you and he even let’s you touch him when you two were in private.

Like that one rainy day. You two have just come from a game and decided to just stay inside for the rest of the day.

„I can hang up your hoodie so it can dry“, you suggested and with a simple nod Last Boss agreed to your offer, taking off his hoodie and handing it to you. Together with your sweater you threw the clothes over the shower wall. As you turned around, walking out of the small bathroom, Last Boss already sat down on his bed, katana leaned against the wall.

You sat beside him, smiling as he looked down to you. „You okay?“, he asks, searching for injuries on your torso. „I’m fine“, you reassured him but his eyes continued to scan your breasts and belly. „Do you like what you’re seeing?“, you mocked him with a giggle. Within seconds his face is burning red and he looks away. „I’m sorry“, he mumbles. „I just wanted to make sure-“ He cut himself of as he felt your hand on his cheek, guiding his face back to look at you. „It’s okay“, you cooed. „I think you’re hot too.“

A shocked expression appeared on the mans face and at first he thought he misunderstood. But when your thumb rubbed softly over the tattoos on his cheek, he realized he understood you perfectly fine. „I really like you“, you whispered again. „And I would really like to kiss you right now. May I?“

Your honesty surprised both of you, but damn you just couldn’t hold it to yourself any longer. The way he just looked at you gave you the last little push.

At first he continued to just look at you, speechless, but then he took the lead and pressed a soft kiss on your lips. Then another. And another. And another.

Soon you moved on his lap and took his face in your hands, almost as if you were afraid he could just disappear at any moment. But after ten minutes he was still there, right in front of you, with his hands on your hips and his lips on yours.

Suddenly he mumbled something in the kiss, but you didn’t understand him, to focused on his lips. So you broke the kiss for a second and asked him to repeat himself.

„Takatora Samura“, he whispered again. „My name.“ You breathing stopped. No one knew his name. That was something he kept to himself and himself only. „Takatora Samura“, you repeat quietly. His name tasted just as sweet as his kisses on your lips, which you caught right after you spoke again.

The idea was much better in my head but I hope you liked it anyways <3

A/n: I‘ve never wrote chubby reader before but tried and hope that you still like it!

Synopsis: After winning yet another game, you manage to draw attention to yourself. Good as well as bad.

You had just returned from your last game, your heart still pounding in your chest. It was the sixth of hearts game—the perfect card suit for you. Even though the game was physical, your specialty in hearts had allowed you and the other players at the Beach to find a way out before things got too dangerous.

The match took place in a paintball arena. Players were randomly divided into two teams, and the objective was to eliminate the opposition—a setup that sounded as straightforward as any typical spades or clubs game. So why had it been a hearts game? You'd been mulling over the question as the countdown to the game ticked by, until you noticed them: a set of paintball guns lying in a far corner. A sign next to the phones read "Choose any weapon of your liking," presenting players with a range of options—from guns to axes to knives. All deadly. So why would anyone opt for a nonlethal weapon if the goal was to eliminate opponents?

The answer was simple: it was a hearts game. The Voice had never said you had to kill your opponents to win, only to "eliminate" them. You struggled to convince not only your own team but also members of the opposing side to set aside their blind urge to shoot and consider your theory. Fortunately, a few of the militants were playing with you. Aguni and Niragi, though placed on different teams and not exactly friends, both recognized that in this harsh world they needed each other, having formed a bond over these games. They agreed to try your approach instead of mindlessly blasting everyone down.

As you walked toward your room, you passed Last Boss. He had participated in the game as well. Ever since you knew him, he had watched everyone in silence, his gaze inscrutable. Usually, his silent observation was hardly unusual—but today, something in his stare felt different, though you couldn't quite put your finger on it.

The next day, you sat by the pool as usual, having little else to do in this strange post-apocalyptic world except wait for the next deadly game. You'd made a few acquaintances you considered friends, though you knew that when survival was on the line, anyone might sacrifice anyone else—and you'd likely do the same. These games had a way of bringing out the worst in people, forcing everyone to choose between killing or be killed. 

Between the games, the company at the Beach was a welcome distraction. That was one reason you had joined, along with Hatter's intriguing theory about the cards. However, the Beach wasn't all nice. There were also psychos and killers—people who not only wouldn't hesitate to sacrifice others but did so with a twisted relish, enjoying the pained screams of their victims. Another annoyance was the dress code. You were forced to wear swimming clothes at all times. As a newcomer, you'd been offered a range of bikinis, but none was in your size, leaving you having to wear a size too small. Every step made you worry that your top might ride up since it offered little support. Thankfully, Ann—one of the executive members of the Beach—went out the next day and got you clothes that were both more modest and better fitting. Still, walking around half-naked was never entirely comfortable.

"Hey, you were with us last night in the sixth of hearts, weren't you?" a voice called out, making you turn in confusion. You were on your way to the pool bar for drinks when two men approached.

"Yes, I was," you replied shortly.

"Better be happy you chose a different approach to the game. Otherwise, you'd have made a large target," the other man snickered, and you couldn't help but roll your eyes.

You were no stranger to comments about your appearance—after all, you'd been a bit chubby your whole life—but even so, those remarks stung. More than that, you found it astounding that in a place where everyone was fighting for survival, some still felt the need to joke about appearances. Didn't they have anything better to do?

"Why are you rolling your eyes like that, huh?" the first man snarled, glaring at you. "You think that was a joke?"

"I know it wasn't a joke, but it wasn't clever either, nor do I think it deserves a response," you shot back, matching his tone.

"Who do you think you are, talking to us like… that?" he demanded, his voice suddenly rising to a shrill pitch on the last word.

Before you could turn to see what was happening behind you, a katana appeared in your line of sight. Its tip was pressed against the throat of the first man, cutting through the skin ever so slightly and drawing a thin line of blood.

You froze, your eyes darting between Last Boss, the menacing katana, and the two now-frightened men before you. For several tense seconds, no one moved. Finally, Last Boss lowered his weapon. He glared at the men and then nodded toward the exit, silently ordering them to leave. They quickly bowed and mumbled apologies as they scurried away.

„Last Boss." You breathed, lowering your head as he now turned to look at you. Was he gonna threaten you next for nearly starting a fight in the middle of the pool area? But to your surprise, he seemed almost shy, not meeting your eyes as you looked at him hesitantly. „Thank you for your help." You finally decided on saying, after it was clear that he wouldn't threaten you. To that, he only nodded before quickly walking away. But despite his hasty exit, you were sure that he had the slightest blush on his cheeks

You watched him disappear into the building, and as the tension ebbed from your body, you whispered, "What the hell was that?"

In the following days, you noticed a few odd developments. For one, the two men who had harassed you by the pool were found dead the next day, suspected of being traitors. Also, everywhere you went, Last Boss seemed to be nearby, silently watching over you—not in a threatening way, but in a manner that was strangely comforting. How could someone as influential as him care about your well-being? It just didn't add up.

Yet, he appeared again when you decided to take a break by the kids' pool—a rarely used area where you could sit on the edge and let your legs dangle in the water, soaking up the warm evening sun in solitude.

"Hey," you greeted softly as Last Boss approached. He hesitated for a moment before sitting down beside you. He didn't speak, but you didn't mind; the silence between you was pleasant.

Lost in your thoughts, you were startled when he finally spoke in a low, gravelly voice. "They were assholes," he muttered.

It took a moment for you to grasp that he was referring to the men from the pool a few days earlier. "Ah, you mean those guys from a couple of days ago?" you asked, wanting to be sure.

He nodded, and you couldn't help but smile. "It's not the first time someone has made a comment about my looks. I don't care what they say about me," you said, tugging absentmindedly at a loose thread on your jacket sleeve. "But they weren't entirely wrong—I'm not as skilled at spade or club games as some others."

"Everyone has their weaknesses," Last Boss replied, leaning back on his hands as he gazed at the water. "I'm not very good at diamond or heart games."

"Sounds like we'd make a good team, then—complementing each other's weaknesses," you said with a shy smile, suppressing a giggle as you noticed his cheeks turn red.

"I guess so," he whispered almost inaudibly, turning his head away so you couldn't see his blush. It was an endearing moment.

The two of you sat in companionable silence, enjoying the warm summer air and each other's presence. Occasionally, your hands brushed against one another, a small but welcome reminder that even in this living hell, unexpected lights of hope could still be found.
