Alex Manes Appreciation Week (4/5)

                Enough was enough.

                Alex was in a constant limbo state of not being able to fall asleep, but not being able to do anything else either because of the sheer exhaustion. It was a bad cycle that was making him sick, and whether Friday was tomorrow or not didn’t matter; Michael was determined on putting him to sleep, at least for a few hours.

                So one day, he came into their bedroom to find Alex limp in bed, his eyes open a sliver as he tried to distract himself with something on his phone. The dark circles under his eyes had turned black, his cheeks were hollowed out from the lack of food, and even his voice couldn’t reach over a whisper when Michael plucked his phone out of his hands and he asked, “What’re you doing?”

                Michael cupped his jaw as he gently moved him onto his back. “Wearing you out.”

                Alex’s brows only pinched before Michael tugged at his waistband and he seemed to understand.

“Guerin,” he caught his shoulder, shaking his head, “this isn’t going to work.”

Michael stripped himself bare and Alex’s eyes darkened at the sight of him, as Michael hoped they would. He pushed Alex’s shirt up to his nipples and his pants just low enough to reveal his cock, and without a word, he brought his head down between Alex’s hips and took him into his mouth.

Alex hissed, and Michael clutched his ass. This, he had to admit, wasn’t entirely for Alex’s sake. It had been over a week since they’d slept together and his need for his husband was indescribable. But if what he did helped let Alex rest for just a while, then he was happy to do what it took.

Michael’s head bobbed as he took him all the way, savoring the taste of him. How he missed this, the touch of Alex’s skin against his own, the sound of his moans, the way he breathed Michael’s name like it was the only word he knew.

Michael pulled off with his tongue hanging out, and moved to hover over Alex, their hard lengths brushing and making them both groan into each other’s mouths. Michael reached a hand down and aligned himself to Alex’s hole.

“G-Guerin . . .” Alex’s eyes fluttered as Michael pulled his arms up around his neck.

“Hold onto me,” Michael whispered against his lips, and Alex arched into him, wrapping his arms tight around him.

Alex’s mouth fell open as Michael entered him, and soon just their grunts and moans and pleas were the only sounds in the room. Michael hooked Alex’s leg higher, thrusting into him, their wet thighs slapping together and fueling the fire in Michael’s gut.

“Guerin,” Alex gasped, slipping his hands into Michael’s curls and tugging on the roots. “I-I’m going to—”

“I know,” Michael grunted. “M-Me, too.”

Alex came with Michael following a few seconds later, their voices muffled against the other’s neck. Michael collapsed on top of him for just a moment before he pushed himself up to grab a wet towel, and cleaned them both off. Alex whimpered faintly at the touch of the warm water, and after disposing of the towel, Michael returned to lay down on his back next to him, his chest heaving.

He looked to Alex and found his eyes closed, his kiss-swollen lips pursed as his breaths slowly deepened. Michael reached over and brushed a thumb across his lower lip, and Alex’s lips quirked in a small smile, his first in days.

“You feel like falling asleep yet?”

“I can try,” Alex chuckled. “I still don’t think it’ll work though.”

Michael’s smile dimmed. “Damn. I really thought that would do it.”

Alex looked over at him with a soft look in his eyes and then turned into him, curling deep into his side. “I do feel better,” he said, running a hand down from Michael’s chest to his stomach and back up again. “Thanks to you.”

Michael hugged Alex’s shoulders and kissed the top of his head. Tomorrow, he thought bitterly, can’t be over soon enough.

“Good,” he said, knowing that it wasn’t enough and not knowing what more to do for his husband. “That’s good.”

So I have a theory, total speculation and here it goes.

Since season 1, it has been hinted there's something greater surrounding Malex.

They are cosmic.

It's not just a pretty metaphor to express how deep their love goes, it's literal.

But what does a cosmic connection means?

Now, since way back when, with Noah and now, with Jones, we've learned that killing people can make you stronger.

You gain more power when you take the vital force of somebody.

We can say it's all about energy and matter and subatomic waves or whatever.

The stronger the person, stronger the power boost, theoretically (we may assumed).

Jones is all about power and arrogance. Which makes sense because people that desire power have a tendency to always consider themselves the smartest people in the room.

Granted, Jones is up against three people who have no recollection of their home, so it's easy for him to spin the truth and all of that.

Oasis is the home of powerful beings.

Jones, or the dictator, is supposed to have unique abilities that made people fear him.

Killing a person is a vial act. You are actually stealing it, taking what is not supposed to be yours out of someone.

It's a dirty source.

Following that logic, it makes sense that with each kill, Jones becomes more evil, hollowed (I mean, Michael is his son and he was ready to kill him).

Now, what if Michael can access a very pure source of energy, of power? Something so pure and that actually belongs to him?

What if the Malex cosmic connection is all about energy?

A force so unique that can make them stronger when they come together?

And here you can explore so much.

Soul mates, for instance. But not in the "another life" sense, more in "build out of the same stars" kind.

It's cosmic.

A fierce, rare force that is split between two people.

Something so powerful, that not even Jones can get a hold of it.

Maybe is the way of the universe to balanced it all out.

And here's why I think, no matter what the cosmic connection is indeed, that whatever cosmic binding Malex have with each other, is gonna be used against Jones.

Alex is the only one that Jones has not met yet.

The only one he wasn't able to take a peek at. I think it's intentional.

We've seen so far that Jones can heal people, move things with his mind, lock people inside their minds, read their feelings.

What if he reads something in Alex that nobody else can't because they aren't so in tune with their abilities yet?

Rosa said that everyone has a signature, vibrating off themselves.

I am betting that when Alex and Jones meet, something will come up.

The cosmic connection might be just the surprise card nobody knew they had.

There has been way too much "it's obvious you two are a thing" hints during this season. Especially with Ramos "Because I know you fell in love with an alien" to Alex. We are in sesson 3 already, there's no way the writers can put the cosmic explanation off for longer.

Connecting that within the Jones seeking power storyline makes perfect sense.

The stakes would be as higher as ever and it would put a lot of pieces together while still bringing a hundred more to light.

Whatever it is, I truly believe Michael's connection and abilities will take Jones by surprise.

A father, a son. Power genetics. Path choices.

Can the son bring down the father?

We will see.

“Can you turn over for me, darlin’?” Michael whispers.

Alex raises an eyebrow, but does as he’s asked, rolling over onto his stomach.

“I’ll be right back,” Michael tells him, pressing a kiss to his shoulder before disappearing from the bed to rifle through their closet. When he returns, it’s with a small wicker basket and a large, fluffy towel.

“What’s that?” Alex asks, rolling onto his side to get a better look. Inside the basket he can see a few bottles of massage oil.

Okay Roswell NM may be a show about aliens but the most unrealistic part of it is surely the fact that no one acknowledges how Alex Manes is quite literally the most good looking person in the universe. I for one, need this issue to be in the forefront in s2.

Oops, I cheated a little and it’s eight instead of six:

“Aw, baby, what’s the matter, don’t I light you up?”

He gives what has to be one of the most perverse thrust of his hips Alex has ever seen, which makes him lift his gaze to the sky as he wishes, once more, that he’d let Kyle talk him into being cowboys this Halloween. No, he’d said, it’s his first Halloween with Michael, they’re together, they’re going to do a couples costume. 

“Guerin,” Alex says calmly, “you get one joke tonight about inserting tab A into slot B, you hear me, one.”

“Good, cuz the only slot I need is the one right in...ow, fuck, Alex, that hurt, why’d you have to pinch me!”

Alex gives Michael a look, because he knows why. Next Halloween, cowboys, he decides, and never letting Michael pick the couples costume again.
