hi there! this is really sweet of you to say, thank you! Answer is under the cut ♥️

I don't use a PSD and will usually do coloring from scratch for each gifset (I'd be happy to go through my process if you'd like, but the adjustment layers always vary based on what I'm giffing), but sharpening is a little more standardized!

there are two things I do. when I was first learning to make gifs, the tutorial I learned from suggested downloading sharpening actions; my go-to is this one. this is honestly the easiest and I'm sure you can find many different actions on some source blogs that are made by people who are much better at this than me!

buuuut if I'm messing with the sharpening myself, then I usually have it on these settings:

I play around with the radius between 0.3-0.8px and I also will sometimes move the noise slider around to see if I like the effect, but usually it's somewhere around there. Then I'll do a second sharpening layer as suggested by these tutorials (x, x) at 10%/10px/0%.
