Speaking of her, how do you feel about Alexandra?

It's been a long time since I've read her magical girl story, but I remember coming away from it feeling like she came across as pretty young and immature. However she comes across as far more mature in other stuff I've seen her in.

I'm not sure if that's intentional or if my memory is just making shit up, but if it is then I like it. It'd mean that the forbidden crush situation made her grow up a little bit. Emotional pain can be good at doing that.

She kind of reminds me of some girls I used to know who were really great about keeping a level head and giving you advice if needed, but their personal lives were a complete mess. It's not that they didn't know what the logical thing to do was, they were just unable to not follow their emotions.

I do like that she has this siren motif. At first you'd think it'd be about her influencing the school teacher but it's not that imo-- if anything, I think that Sasha was an unintentional siren to Himena. I really need to reread the main story chapter this happened in, but Sasha was the one to persuade Himena to join the NeoMagius (was that it? fuck it's been a long time), and then Sasha was the one to step away from Himena when she couldn't handle it anymore.

That feels sort of like luring someone in and then abandoning them to the rocks. Sasha obviously didn't mean to do it but it still happened.

My memory is really poor on this. Wait, did I even get that far in the main story, or am I remembering a summary. I should shut the fuck up before I spread misinformation...

Anyways I like Sasha. She also has a line I really liked from her quote video, let me find it.

Her next line is "If I wasn't a magical girl, though, I'd be the head of the choir right now. Ehehe"

Which to me really shows that she's a pretty aware person of both how people perceive her but also how good she can be at achieving her goals.

She's my favorite of the neo-magius girls.

My anniversary pulls were crazy this year! Between each and every free 10 pull, there was always someone new or I gave another slot (Mami and Anime Rena). I managed to now have all the core void girls, more of those silly chan ones, and even some next arc girls too. I was so mad when Ao spooked me on the Devil Homura banner and I didn't get her, so I settled with pulling Devil Homura-chan instead. Overall, one of my best pull seasons!
