Is it still Tugger week?

I hope it's still Tugger week, because I need to spam Alex Snova my beloved being the absolute bestest.

Whether he's suavely kissing Cassandra's paw as he passes...

Or encouraging Admetus to get him girl (and staying up to watch over them)...

Or trying really hard to be mean to Grizabella and failing...

Or cuddling with Admetus during Grandpa Story Hour (which goes on for a good full minute)...

Or sadly and confusedly watching Gus lose himself...

Or giving comfort to Bill Bailey and Electra...

Or coming in to check on Coricopat and Tantomile and have a little flirt...

Or going to Bombalurina and Skimbleshanks to have a quick cuddle...

Or coming to Rumpelteazer to have a little flirt...

Or being soft with Old Deuteronomy...

Ugh. Alex Snova is a gift, and is has yet to be knocked out of the number one spot. I love him so much.

Favorite Cats Vienna Moment?

My dear this is *shamefully* late--I can only blame needing to think about this (because it's an important question!) and then also travel and jet lag and I'm sorryyyy! Thank you so much for this Ask!

One of the aspects of the Vienna production I love SO MUCH is the relationship between Tugger and Munkustrap. They play off each other in so many fun ways. When Tugger appears during "Old Deuteronomy" Munkustrap reacts with *pleased surprise*, but not hostility. Both Dominik Hees and Alex Auler are touchy and affectionate and playful with each other but Alex Snova take it up even another notch. The last show Alex Snova was on stage was June 22 (2022) and he was playing Tugger. Just look at these soft boys!

Munkustrap invites Tugger down, he accepts -- they hold hands - they cling- they gently touch each other's faces 😭

BUT this isn't enough, clearly. Since Tugger and Munkustrap are not "allowed" to be in the Jellicle Ball 🙄 clearly this is a moment for a big hug! 🥺

And my favorite favorite blocking -- during Skimbleshanks

What if we put our arms around each other? What if we tangoed up the stage together?

Of course then then need to sprawl next to each other and playful tease at each other before getting up to join the train!

However you headcanon the specifics of their relationship, it's obviously a close and affectionate one and I love it so much!!

Vienna heads boot giveth and it taketh away.

This boot is kind of funny bc it's shot around a couple people's heads and there's this one bald motherfucker right in front of the guy recording who blocks like 70% of the action. Which sucks, BUT, the main action being mostly blocked means there's a big chunk of Misto's solo that's just The Tugger Cam™ and it's great

Hi anon! I really couldn't tell you (I'm sure the performers keep track). Vienna passed 400 shows in its last few months. The show utilized its swings consistently and so Munkustrap was also played by Florian Fetterle, Alex Snova, and at least a few times by Jan-Eike Majert
