𝐖𝐇𝐎 𝐍𝐄𝐄𝐃𝐒 𝐀 𝐃𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐌? 𝐖𝐇𝐎 𝐍𝐄𝐄𝐃𝐒 𝐀𝐌𝐁𝐈𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍? — Thank you everyone who has applied !! You’re all amazing writers and quite honestly I had no less than three mental breakdowns during the deliberation period.
To those who were not chosen, please know that this is not a mark against your writing or your characters. I loved them dearly and I would be such an honor if you wanted to join with a different muse. However, I know applications take a very long time and a lot of heart so I completely understand if you do not wish to do so.
With that said, congratulations to those who were accepted. Please make sure you look at the checklist, and send in your character account within 24 hours. I will be sending out discord invitation links tomorrow after I clean up the server a bit (aka making a guide on how we will be using discord to roll and such).
K playing Elizabeth Augusta Sinclair, the luminary; violinist for the Bolshoi Ballet
"It is summer, and the countryside is alive with birdsong and bloom, rays of golden light cascading, warm breeze dusting the ground with the caress of a lover. You are eight, stumbling through the knee high fields of flowers, laughter light and joyful, Aestas come down to Earth."
I loved your portrayal of Elizabeth. Half ghost half girl, there is something incredibly provocative in the way in which she tries to become all that she thinks she can be. I was listening to Swan Lake Act II. No. 10. during your muse sample and it ended just as I finished reading it. Coincidence? I think not. Elizabeth will make a wonderful addition to the group, and I cannot wait to see how her story plays out. I've been thinking about potential subplots for her and wowie my brains a racing.
Amy playing Yelena Andreyevna Kusnetsova, tbd.
“In years past, she’d been able to push down the worry that she was missing out in some way. That true freedom of expression had eluded her, for reasons that had nothing to do with how hard she worked. Often, she’d even convinced herself that she didn’t need freedom at all.”
Yelena has such a presence about her that I can't help but be enamored with her. There is a wistfulness in everything she does, but it does not slow her down. In fact, I would argue it makes her all the more present. She reminds me of a deer, ephemeral but wise and always on the lookout for potential danger. For a person such as herself, I see the workings of a woman afraid to die and afraid of the life she has already been living. Yelena will be such a treat to see develop and I cannot wait to see what kind of shenanigans occur during the story!
Nayab playing Hana Volkova, the veiled; soloist at the bolshoi theater
“It is to no music her wings spread, and she is commanded to fly. In a single, suspended moment in time, Volkov leeches from the depths of her, everything the art once meant to her. Its purity is tainted, and if her heart had not already lost all faith, the sicles Volkov aims to her heart and pierces her with surely bleed her dry of the blood of love.”
When Hana was given a buffet in front of her as threat toward her compliance that pierced me like a knife. Her demotion to soloist as punishment for stepping out of line I think is a beautiful analogy for how girls like her aren't meant to last long: they're meant to be sacrificial pawns so that others may endure and to think that one can be anything other than that is a mistake. Loss which permeates all of one's being is meant to hurt, and Hana has demonstrated one way of being resilient.
Esme playing Marilyn Campbell, the maelstrom; corpse de ballet at NYCB
“You once told a story to your brother, told him that if the sea claims you, it drags you so far away from the shore that you turn into a deadly fish, a fish that could devour the entire world.”
Marilyn is the perfect storm, ready to consume all that which does not heed her. I love how you portrayed her resignation to what she is, and perhaps what she thinks is all that she will ever be, but even her doubts are thwarted by her want, her consuming desire, to become someone else. Much like the Bermuda Triangle, she may be a touch auspicious, but people cannot help but want to be pulled into her destruction. I love the ideas you have for her plot development and I can't wait to see how it all unfolds.
Georgia playing Fred Baker, the insurgent; head of security at the NYCB
“The brothers bought a radio before they did a bed.”
First of all, holy shit I loved your memes they were. Oh my god, so funny. When I go over apps the first thing I do is look at the meme section, and let me tell you — just that little bit you gave me enticed me to want to know more about Fred. When I finally began to read him my heart SWOONED. Do you hear me? Swooned. He's such an interesting character, filled to the brim with animosity and hurt — he deals with his past the best way he can. I also cannot wait until Fred introduces everyone to the soul of America with his love for jazz.
Taryn playing  Zinaida Petrovna Sabitova, the sacred; principal dancer at the bolsoi theater
“Still, there are some evenings when her mother looks over from her place at the vanity, still all-over aside from the wafts of smoke burning from her cigarette, and seems to be studying her own child. Looking for something. Wondering.”
You wrote in your application is Zinaida good or evil, Odette or Odile — and while I do not have an answer for you right now, I do know that I would love to explore that with you. She's a beautiful girl whose life is tragic in the way only fairy tales can be. The perfect Jewel of Moscow (I did like that name), who while controlled by those above her wishes for her own happy ending despite knowing that her end will be nothing less than fatalistic. Her aversion toward things which reminds her of her own mortality hits home, omg, yes, why must I have this human body. Why must I suffer having lived.
Anna playing Yelena Yuryevna Min, the dream; corpse de ballet at the bolshoi theater
“What Yelena didn’t remember was the hushed arguments her parents would have every other night before he left – how he would say with so much conviction even as her mother begged him not to, “things will be better for us if the state knows we’ll die for her.”
AHHH, that broke me, that line right there broke me. I can so ardently feel the love and happiness her family gave her, their precious daughter, and how they would do anything to give her the world she deserves. Then you went on to talk about her apprehension to go to Vagnova, and my world turned upside down. Her disposition really speaks to me, and her family ties as well. She's also a breath of fresh air, like a sunflower in a meadow that had recently rained. Her optimism and kind disposition really shines through in your app and in your memes.
Claudia playing Eva Miro, the swan; principal dancer at the NYCB
“but lena understood sacrifice, she saw it every day when her mother would come home exhausted, weathered hands cracked and aching so she wouldn’t go hungry. to love something meant giving everything you had, everything you were or could ever be, to feed that love.”
Gonna start my little tangent with wow, your mood-board :cheff kiss: absolute perfection. I don't use extras as a basis for my decision making, merely something I admire from afar, but damn — if I did yours would no doubt be at the front of the line. There were two parts of your application that I wanted to highlight, and the other was half your application lmao. Your muse sample really expanded your character and showed me how much of a Swan Eva can be. I called the Swan skeleton a starling at the beginning, a bird which choses their survival above all else. A transformation of a girl into a star, Eva is a force which cannot be tamed unless you destroy her.
V playing Alina Vasilieva Filippova, the tbd; ballet master-repetiteur at the bolshoi theater
“She remembers thinking: ‘this will not be the end’.”
All ballet dancers in this RP live and breathe ballet, but Alina is in a realm of her own. I loved how you wrote her to be a ballet master, someone who would put aside their pride of being a "former prima ballerina" to now teaching a group of dancers because ballet is all that she is. Your muse sample really showed me the intense power of a woman who knows what she wants, and who she is — even if all she believes herself to be is something irrevocably intertwined with ballet. I'm very excited to see the relationship she forms with her dancers and with those who are from out of the Union. I'm particularly interested in her second plot development point and would love to explore that in game.
Abby playing Viktor Antonievich Vasylenko; the raconteur, pianist for the bolshoi ballet
No, Viktor had fashioned the resentment into an albatross of his own, hanging limp and heavy from his neck.
What can I say about Viktor other than I'm a fan. He's so gentle and yet so resilient, a mess of cacophonous sounds that melds into a beautiful sonata. There's pain in him, a ghost which lingers from his past, and while resigned to perhaps eternal disappointment he continues. I loved the way in which you developed his reason / background for being in the Bolshoi Theater when he himself could have been a star — still strives to be actually: but more resigned this time in his ambition. I loveee Viktor and I can't wait to see how he develops.
     — 𝐈𝐍 𝐒𝐔𝐌𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐘
Principal Dancer: Zinadia, Eva, Soloist: Hana, Yelena (tbd)* Corpse de Ballet: Yelena (dream) , Marilyn Violinist: Elizabeth Bodyguard: Fred Ballet Master: Alina Pianist: Viktor * still talking to writer about a few details.

WIR SIND JETZT VEGAN!?
13.-15.12.18 - Dunedin
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Unser Fazit:
Kiwis geben gerne aus (auch Mädchen)
Wasser gibt's oft umsonst
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media

Why Won’t Anyone Buy PGA Champ Davis Love III’s Gorgeous Georgia Property?
realtor.com; Michael Reaves/Getty Images
All that glitters is gold when you’re talking about high-end real estate along the Atlantic Ocean. The Golden Isles are a chain of barrier islands sitting midway between Savannah, GA, and Jacksonville, FL.
If you’re unfamiliar with names like St. Simons Island, Little St. Simons Island, Sea Island, Jekyll Island, and Brunswick, that’s because they’re hidden gems along Georgia’s oft-overlooked coastline.
The island chain offers just the right blend of notoriety and privacy and was tabbed last year as “The Secluded Island Hideaways for America’s Rich and Famous” by the Wall Street Journal. In addition to seclusion, the allure of these isles is intimately tied to golf. In fact, the golf tradition of the Golden Isles dates back at least a century.
With a backdrop of golf history and award-winning courses, it’s no surprise that pro golfers have snapped up homes in the Golden Isles.
Golf Hall of Famer Davis Love III is one such linksman. The 21-time PGA Tour winner owns a pristine plantation-style home on St. Simons Island.
Exterior
realtor.com
Love’s 5-acre spread is located in a private, serene neighborhood and includes a fully functioning farm. Known as Sinclair Farm, Love’s summery sanctuary is way, way above par.
It’s currently on the market for $4.48 million and eagerly awaits a buyer in search of a place with a golden reputation.
Aerial view
realtor.com
There’s only one divot—the golfer’s home has been up for sale for six long years. We’ll spare you the albatross jokes.
In 2013, Love’s property landed on the market at a price of $5.5 million. So what’s the holdup? Why aren’t buyers swooning over Love’s beautiful island compound?
St. Simons Island offers the best of island life. The plantation-style house is gorgeous. The property is enormous and lush. We’re talking endless summer, twinkling stars on clear nights with fireflies flitting around. The beach right around the corner.
To dig in to the reasons, we spoke with a couple of local agents.
An abundance of options
On Sea Island and St. Simons Island, there are over 50 listings priced between $1 million and $14 million, according to Rhonda NeSmith, an agent with Coldwell Banker Platinum Partners.
Entryway
realtor.com
“People who can afford to buy in this price range have options,” she said. “This property is really nice and private, but a lot of people come to the area to be either in a golf community or on the water.”
Love’s secluded property is located in an area with only six other homes, and the street to reach the home is quite dark and winding, NeSmith said.
With an abundance of waterfront and golf course properties available, this lovely island spread might be … too remote?
Living space
realtor.com
The listing mentions views of a marsh in the distance. NeSmith said “distance” is a bit of an understatement: “There’s a 50-acre property in between this one and the marsh, so there’s not much to see in that regard.”
However, the views of the sky are unparalleled. NeSmith told us, “I can guarantee the view of the night sky from this property is an amazing sight.”
Dining room
realtor.com
The home is also competing with luxury homes on the other Golden Isles, and many of those options are gated, private islands for residents only.
New construction in the area also plays a role. Even though Love’s home is only two decades old, many high-end buyers want a place with no previous owners.
“This home was built in 1999,” said Maria Jennings, real estate agent with DeLoach Sotheby’s International Realty. “There’s a fair amount of new construction in the area. This presents some competition for this kind of home.”
The vacation vibe
Jennings told us the Golden Isles are a popular destination for vacationers, retirees, and owners of second homes.
Kitchen
realtor.com
“The island tends to attract retirees that want to downsize,” Jennings said. “They’re looking for something that’s easy to maintain, and this property requires a lot of upkeep.”
Five acres aren’t going to tend to themselves. And with a fully functioning farm, upkeep is a daily commitment, which runs counter to the idea of having a low-key retreat.
Vacationers, she said, are looking for something similar: a place to stay that requires little maintenance and has enough space to spread out and relax, but not so much that keeping things clean, tidy, and in working order takes the fun out of the experience.
Bedroom
realtor.com
“The farm makes this property really unique, which is good, but it also narrows down the kind of buyer looking for this kind of home.”
You can’t hurry Love
For someone like Love, a native of the Golden Isles area and a professional athlete with presumably a sizable nest egg, selling the property quickly isn’t a top priority. He ranks among the top 20 money earners all-time in the world of professional golf, having pulled down nearly $45 million in career earnings.
“I tend to think he built this as his forever home, but obviously something changed,” says NeSmith. “Still, he probably doesn’t need to sell it for the money.”
The lack of urgency is reflected in the years the home has spent on the market and the relative lack of price cuts. The asking price was cut in 2015, 2017, and then again earlier this year to its present price.
Pool
realtor.com
“The house is worth its current asking price,” said NeSmith. “So that’s not the issue here. The property is just really unique for the area.”
So what kind of buyer will fall in love with an island farm?
“It’s probably going to be someone middle-aged that’s relocating that wants to be close to the water but still have the farm feel,” said Jennings. “That’s a pretty unique buyer.” If you fit the very specific bill, Love is still waiting for you to take a swing.

Quesada Bowls Club Report by Dee Stephenson What a difference a week can make! Our bowlers were on better form this week with some good wins despite some very competitive matches. In the South Alicante Winter League, Quesada Pearls held off San Luis Klingons for a 6-6 draw narrowly winning the shots 93-90. This performance means the Pearls have maintained 4th place in the league. Meanwhile the Diamonds put up a great fight in a very close match against San Luis Trekkers. Some of the rinks won or lost by only 2 or 3 points for a final result of Trekkers 7 points, Diamonds 5 points and the shots were 90-85 to the Trekkers. Unfortunately the Rubies had a bad day against Greenlands Sycamore who won the match 12-0 and 94-71 shots. Results in the Southern League this week included a reversal of fortunes for Quesada Swallows against San Luis Leopards and they lost their match 8-4 points and 94-70 shots in favour of the Leopards. And a reversal of fortunes for the Swifts as well but in the Swifts favour! They were hosted by Montemar Toreadors and in a game of two halves initially in favour of the Toreadors, Swifts proved their tenacity and staying power coming back in the second half of the match to win it 12-0 points and 88-81 shots. In the Winter league, Quesada played away at La Siesta and enjoyed an 8-4 win with the shots 89-79, thus maintaining their 4th place in the league. Meantime, in the Federated 4’s, Quesada Panthers hosted San Miguel Mohawks and in a hard fought match, with several rinks decided on the last one or two ends, managed a draw, 4 points each. A good result for the Panthers and with only 2 games remaining, they’ve moved into 4th place in the league and will be working hard to maintain this - although the Mohawks and Condors are still hot on their heels. Just a reminder that we welcome both new and experienced bowlers. We’re a friendly club with a mixture of competition, league and casual players. In addition to league matches and Club competitions we have our popular Saturday morning chicken drive which is open to visitors, and we have free coaching for new members.  So come along and see what we have to offer! Country Bowls Club with Jo Richardson The Flamingos travelled to San Miguel to face the Pointers on Monday, fielding an A division team in all but name, the Flamingos were put firmly in their place, losing on all rinks. Better luck next time and well done to the Pointers. On Friday morning Country Bowls faced off at home against Greenland’s Elms in their second encounter this year. The Cubs were determined to hold on to their 5th place in the league. A fantastic mornings bowling with a 4 shot difference at the end, however, the Elms took 3 rinks to the Cubs 2. Overall score 8 – 4 to Greenland’s Elms. Winning rinks were; Chris Stevens, Dot Davies and Peter Robins, Sandra McIlroy, Dave Smith and Lynne Bryce. Well done to Greenland’s. In the afternoon the Matadors from Monte Mar were next to visit Country Bowls. The Matadors came looking for revenge after a narrow defeat when they played the Geckos on their home green earlier in the season. However, the Geckos have been getting stronger by the week and attacked the Matadors like a herd of champion bulls!! No matter how much the Matadors swirled their capes and bowled their bowls, the charging Geckos ground them down. The attack was relentless and only one of the Matadors rinks struggled over the line, victors by just one shot. Against a strong team of Matadors that started the game three places above the Geckos in the league, the Geckos proved just how strong they have become by marching out victorious by 10 points to 2 and a shot difference of 103 – 69. Winning rinks; Sylvia Rennie, Jean Turner & Jim Rennie . 22 – 18 John Jukes, Graham Richardson & Wayne Osguthorpe. 30 – 13 Gordon Dixon, Pat Emmett & Ray Emmett. 15 – 13 Carole Donnellan, Les Turner & Dennis Birkett. 20 – 18 Pat Patton, Derek Jiggins & Brian Patton fought ferociously and lost by only one shot after a terrific close game. Well done Geckos. On Friday the Royals were at home to La Siesta Gold and when we played them away we lost 8 points to 4, but at home we more than made up for that away loss.  Before the start of the match our club captain Jack Linehan gave us a severe talking to, stating that we have to win our remaining home matches to stay up.  Everybody must have quaked in their shoes because we had a fabulous match with an even more fabulous result.  The Royals also need to win their home matches as they started the season well but have slowly been dropping down the table.  Friday’s result just proves what Horadada can do.  Why can’t we do it more often, especially at home?  Very well played to all our team members.  This was the lift that we all needed.  We won on 4 rinks and drew on 1.  Our winning teams were: John Goddard, Mick Kirby and Bryan Eatough 17 – 9 Carol Linehan, Wayne Jackson and Sheila Westwood 16 -15 Irene Gaham, Alan Miller and Terry Hucknall 22 – 12 Ken Barber, Mark Jukes and Roy Thomson 19 -15.  Our draw team was: Jenny Davis, John Bailey and Fred Trigwell 17 -17. The final result was 91 shots for to 68 against giving us a much needed 11 points to 1 against. With reference to the Monday Falcons and the Friday Royals, we have three home matches left to play for the Falcons and two for the Royals.  You cannot get a better advantage than that to finish the season so let’s go for it Team Horadada. Keep ‘em bowls a rollin’ Guys. Horadada offers a warm welcome to new or experienced bowlers, and provides the necessary equipment.  Our roll-up days for this friendly club are Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday mornings.  Please contact Fred Trigwell on 659139129 for more information. La Marina Bowls Club with Chris Bould. Monday 25- 02-19. The Explorers we’re away to San Miguel Beagles. The spoils were all equal, 6 points each, the shots were 66 to 69. Best winning rink, Maureen Kidd, Phil Pape and Don Fowkes 17 - 5. No report from Pathfinders. Wednesday 27-02-19. Winter leaguers we’re away to San Luis. They had a bad day at the green, losing 0 - 12. Shots were 51 - 128. Better luck next week. Friday 01- 03 - 19. The Ospreys we’re away to San Luis Lions.  Better result this time, points for 4 and against 8. Shots were 79 for and 90 against. Best winning rink was Janet Parsons, Jean and Don Fowkes. No report from Merlin’s. The weekend of March 9th is the finals of our inter club competitions. Please come along and add your support to the competitors. Check out the noticeboards for schedules. from left to right: dove, gale, albie, jay, aelin
the main crew all line up together! i wanted to line them up in a sort of shonen, main five, protagonist, action sequence posing. i also did that spotted background thing, and i think it came out very nicely!
i think dove’s pose definitely came out the best, and then,,,albie could’ve been better. but i’m generally very happy with all of them!

unlike the last post ,,, this is canon. and i can promise you, albie (they/them) was more upset about jay (any.p) got it wrong then getting in trouble. eddison (she/they) was very conflicted on how to react at the time. and now in hindsight, she laughs very much.
alsoalso ! the plus sign is jay’s sister, cardinal (she/her). she is eddison’s ,,, on and off partner. per say.
side note. this dialogue was pulled from tiktok by someone named “aaron sun”

“yeah,,, i mean i still keep expecting her to just show up one day. you know, just all of a sudden going: ‘hi--sorry, sorry!’ with that big smile of hers.”
- uotani arisa
west d’lune (he/she) passed away when albie (they/them) was about 7 years old. the two were very close, and spent a lot of time together. he was a kind and giving person who had become a safe place for those who he interacted with. including jay (any pronouns) and gale (he/she), who both came from rough backgrounds and often needed someone to support them in a fatherly way. they hadn’t known west very long, jay for two years and gale barely half a year or so. but still, his passing hit the three hard.
here we see the gravesite made in honor of west, it was created by relatives as it was his favorite place to go when he needed a place to think. albie’s mother, crane (she/her), didn’t visit much after the accident. but albie comes by yearly or whenever they can, and is often joined by their two best friends. it’s come to be a little less of a sad visit and more of a time to catch up, but albie would be lying if they said they weren’t still saddened over the passing of their parent.

okay, the funny thing about everything i’ve posted about bird’s sky is that i feel like i’ve drawn ophelia (she/her) so much. but she really isn’t the main main character, to which. here we see 2/3rds of our main trio, plus ophelia. who is apart of the five mains, but of our key trio, i have yet to shown the fullness of. but enough of my ramblings, here’s some fluffy angst of my jaelynn (any pronouns) and my darling bitch baby, albatross (they/them).
Tumblr media
i actually took a break from drawing for a good second, but this was a nice practice to get back into drawing. but for extra extra context, jay and albie are childhood friends and rivals. jay grew up hating albie and constantly trying to out do them at every chance he could. yet they always seemed to best him,,, the two have always had a strained relationship, but still a friendly one at the heart of it.
ophelia and jay equally share part in being victims to albie’s joking torments, but the difference between them is that jay is capable of fighting back and leaving them. yet he continues to take it. and ophelia doesn’t get it, she doesn’t understand why jay would subject himself to that. and here we see jay spitefully speaking of albie, trying to convince ophelia he truly hates them, and that he resents every little part about them,,, but. at the same time. those words seem to also carry a sense of love?
