That was the Kuwait School, in Gaza. It was FULL of refugees last night when Israel and the United States bombed it in the middle of the night. Slaughtering countless Palestinians in their sleep.
Tumblr media
Massacres are being committed still. Yesterday alone, 600 people have been killed by israeli bombardment and almost no coverage or outrage. Don't get used to the rising numbers, the same massacre in the Baptist hospital has been committed on other schools and hospitals. Don't get used to it. Demand a ceasefire.

Sanjana Karanth at HuffPost:
For the past 14 months, Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya has faced Israel’s war on Gaza’s health care system head-on, documenting to the world his fight as a physician to treat patients and keep his hospital in the north afloat despite constant bombardment, depleted humanitarian aid, a painful shrapnel injury and the killing of his own son.
On Friday, the Israel Defense Forces arrested him. After nearly three months of daily Israeli attacks, soldiers stormed Kamal Adwan Hospital, killing dozens of people and detaining more than 240 others, including patients and medics. Captives were forced to strip and wait outside in winter temperatures before soldiers took them to Israeli prisons and interrogation centers, according to the Gaza Health Ministry. Among them was Abu Safiya, a pediatrician and hospital director and Gaza’s lead physician for the U.S.-based medical aid group MedGlobal. Kamal Adwan was the last functioning hospital in North Gaza, as Israel continues to wall the region off from the rest of the Palestinian territory and from any kind of outside humanitarian assistance. Still, despite the resulting lack of resources and the increasing casualties, Abu Safiya managed to keep the hospital in Beit Lahia at least partially running ― expanding its bed capacity from 120 to 200, and regularly posting updates online to show the world what Kamal Adwan, its patients and its staff were enduring at the hands of the Israeli military. [...]
“The IDF entered the hospital over the past year four times, and they interrogated [Abu Safiya] four times, and they searched every place in the hospital. So if there’s anything that could have been suspicious, they would have found it a long time ago,” Sahloul said. “So all of these talks about being [a] Hamas center and things like that is nonsense. No one believes these things anymore.” Despite soldiers telling Abu Safiya that he was free to leave, the doctor reportedly refused to abandon his medical team at the hospital. “He took all of us and wanted to get us out at night, but they yelled at him and arrested him,” nurse Waleed Al-Boudi told Middle East Eye, adding that Abu Safiya was taken captive at Al-Fakhoura School. Israeli army footage of the arrest shows what appears to be the last time Abu Safiya was seen before his detention, with soldiers shaking his hand, addressing him as “Doctor” and having him enter their tank with them. Abu Safiya, still wearing his white coat, can be seen telling the soldiers that there is no one left inside Kamal Adwan Hospital. Sahloul said the IDF would not confirm Abu Safiya’s whereabouts with MedGlobal, but that family and eyewitnesses said he was in Ofer prison with dozens of fellow medical workers before getting transferred to the notoriously brutal Sde Teiman prison. HuffPost could not independently verify Abu Safiya’s location.
[...] Groups like the World Health Organization, Amnesty International and the Council on American-Islamic Relations have demanded that Israeli forces release Abu Safiya from captivity and stop targeting Gaza’s hospitals and health care workers. Sahloul said that he and Abu Safiya’s family have asked U.S. President Joe Biden, Secretary of State Antony Blinken and President-elect Donald Trump to pressure the Israeli government to release the hospital director and his colleagues. The State Department is “aware of reports and still gathering information,” a spokesperson told HuffPost on Monday, adding that claims of Hamas operating in hospitals present Israel with “an unusual burden” but that Israel should do more to curb civilian casualties. The agency did not say whether it would pressure Israel to release Abu Safiya.
Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya took a stand against Israel Apartheid State’s war crime attacks on hospitals in Gaza, and he was arrested by the terrorist Israel Occupation Forces for his efforts.

[X] Nurse Waleed Al-Boudi testified about the arrest of Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya, describing him as a man of immense humanity and dedication. Dr. Hussam was taken from Al-Fakhoura School after refusing to leave his medical staff behind, despite being given the option to leave. He stayed to ensure the safety of his team and attempted to lead them out, but was met with aggression and ultimately arrested. Al-Boudi appealed to the world and human rights organizations to stand with Dr. Hussam, emphasizing his role in inspiring patience and resilience in North Gaza. "We cried blood on the doors of Kamal Adwan Hospital," he said, recounting the moment they were forcibly expelled by the occupation forces.

Shouq reached out to me to help with her fundraiser. She is urgently raising money to help she and her family rebuild their lives and access basic necessities. She has made €0 out of her €50,000 goal! Please donate and share, and if you can't donate, please still share!!
From Shouq's GFM:
Hello, my name is Shouq. I have organized this fundraising campaign in the hope of helping me and my family, consisting of my husband Mohammed, 30 years old, my daughter Mayar, 7 years old, Kareem, 4 years old, and my youngest daughter Hajar, who is only one year old. My family and I have been living in extremely difficult conditions in Gaza since October 7th, where we have been displaced from our home three times.
The first time, we left our home to seek refuge with friends, and then the neighbouring house was bombed without any warning. We then moved with the family to the Al-Fakhoura school run by the UN agency for refugees. After that, the IDF asked us to flee to southern Gaza, Rafah, and eventually, we ended up in a tent.
My family and I suffer from food shortages, especially my one-year-old daughter Hajar, whom I cannot breastfeed due to malnutrition, lack of proper food for me, and the unavailability of infant formula. She has developed curvature in her feet due to malnutrition.
On one particularly difficult day, while preparing food over an open fire, the pot containing the food fell to the ground, causing burns on Hajar's feet and hand, resulting in severe pain for her for several weeks due to the lack of proper treatment because of the restrictions imposed by the occupation and siege and the lack of resources.
The period of suffering we are experiencing began in the winter. We moved the children to a friend's house, then to a shelter school, and then to a completely unsafe tent that did not protect us from the biting cold, as rainwater fell on us, and the air was cold, especially for the children. We also suffer from the lack of a bathroom for bathing, so we use a bucket and cold water due to the lack of electricity or gas to heat the water. We cook food if we find any over firewood.
My children are the most precious thing my husband and I have. They were happy in life with them, and I used to take pictures of them to keep beautiful memories of their growth stages. We never imagined that our children would grow up in deprivation, hunger, and the sound of shells.
We never imagined that our lives would be like this. We used to have happy times, me and my family, and our life was beautiful and peaceful in Gaza, where we had a car to spend enjoyable times, which was also bombed. My husband used to work in a company and had a steady income. We had a home to shelter us, but the war deprived us of that.
Your donation and sharing our story will greatly help us rebuild our lives provide the necessary protection for our children and meet their basic needs for food, treatment, and necessities.
Thank you for your support, for listening to our story, and for helping us during this difficult time.
For direct communication with me, you can reach out to me on Instagram.

Israeli Strike on Refaat al-Areer Apparently Deliberate
The Israeli airstrike that killed Prof. Refaat al-Areer was apparently deliberate, Euro-Med Monitor concluded on Friday. The apartment where Refaat and his family were sheltering was surgically bombed out of the entire building where it’s located, according to corroborated eyewitness and family accounts. This came after weeks of death threats that Refaat received online and by phone from Israeli accounts. We call for an immediate investigation into this apparently deliberate and targeted killing of a prominent Palestinian academic, writer, poet, and activist. On Wednesday at around 18:00, Refaat al-Areer was killed in his sister’s home in al-Sidra neighborhood in al-Daraj area in Gaza city along with his brother Salah and one of his children (Mohammed); his sister Asmaa and three of her children (Alaa, Yahia, and Mohammed); and a neighbor. His brother’s wife, Alaa, and two other children, Rafik and Alma, were wounded in the assault. The airstrike surgically targeted the apartment on the second floor where Rafaat was in a 3-storey building, and not the entire building; indicating the apartment was the target and not possible collateral damage. Refaat was displaced multiple times during this war and ended up at his sister’s home along with his parents, wife and children. A few days ago, Refaat moved with his wife and children to an UNRWA school in al-Tufah neighborhood in Gaza according to his family. However, a close friend of Refaat’s told Euro-Med Monitor that he had received an anonymous phone call from someone who identified himself as an Israeli officer and threatened Refaat that they knew precisely the school where he was located and were about to get to his location with the advancement of Israeli ground troops. While the credibility of the threat itself is unclear, it contributed to prompting Refaat to move back to his sister’s apartment, believing it was more concealed than an open and overcrowded school where it would have been difficult to hide. For weeks since the start of this war, Refaat has been receiving numerous death threats and hateful messages from Israeli accounts on social media after prominent public figures singled him out for harassment and incitement. In 2014, Israel bombed Refaat’s home in Shejaiya and killed over 30 of his and his wife’s families.

Updates as of 19.11.2023
Israel has bombed 2 UN schools in Northern Gaza
These schools were sheltering hundreds of displaced Palestinians, many of whom were already wounded.
One of the schools, Al Fakhoura is located at the Jabalia refugee camp.
Israeli forces demand evacuation of Al Shifa Hospital
Doctors, the wounded patients and displaced Palestinians were threathed at gun point to evacuate the hospital.
Israel have since denied it on twitter but staff at Al Shifa and Israel's own news network article shows that not only did they order the evacuation.
But that they demanded it was done "within an hour."
An impossible fear especially for the hundreds of people who are in critical condition and cannot leave.
31 premature babies have been have been evacuated from Al Shifa Hospital.
Out of the 39 premature babies left in incubators with little fuel and supplies.
They were evacuated to hospitals in Southern Gaza by members of the Palestinian Red Crescent society.
Coordinated with the World Health Organisation and United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs.
Israel is telling Palestinians to flee south, and are targeting and killing them as they flee.
Just as they did initially with those "safe routes."
Also, Israel had not stopped bombing the south.
And speaking on the south of Gaza, Israel are ordering the evacuation of Khan Yunis.
Dropping leaflets in some areas of Khan Yunis and demanding Palestinians evacuate.
Where are they supposed to go?
They are displacing more and more Palestinians from their homes.
This is an ethnic cleansing of the Palestinian people.
This is not a war.
It is a genocide.
