Akito was blown away.

You had came to Vivid Street later than him, meaning he’d been singing for longer than you had.

But you were so skilled despite being so inexperienced, it completely blew him away.

As he stood in the crowd of the music venue you were performing at, he couldn’t help but feel prideful, especially since he’s able to be the one dating such a talented person as you.

Once your performance had ended and the crowd erupted in cheers, he watched you walk off stage, and he followed quickly behind so he could meet up with you.

Akito waited patiently outside of the backstage for you, leaning against the wall and scrolling through his phone mindlessly.

When you came out through the door, you spotted him almost immediately. Your face lit up with excitement as you rushed over to him.

“Akito! Hi!” You smiled widely.

“What did you think of my performance?? Was it good??” You pressed him with various questions, all while excitedly bouncing on the spot.

Akito smiled at your energetic mood, placing his phone into his pocket to give his full attention to you. “It was great. You have a real talent for this, y’know?”

If it were possible, your face lit up with more happiness than it already had.

“You think so?? You’re not just saying that because you’re my boyfriend, are you?”

“Of course not.” Akito responded, slinging his arm over your shoulders as you both began to walk out of the music venue.

When you both were outside and completely alone, you turn to face Akito and you cup his cheeks, pulling him down for a kiss.

“Thank you.” You say softly, a complete contrast from how loud and energised you were just before.

Akito smiled at you, kissing you briefly once again as a response.

After the kiss, he slings his arm back over your shoulders and presses you against his side, letting you rest your head on his shoulder as you both walked through the streets to eventually go your seperate ways and go home for the night.

Akito Shinonome is a total jerk! He’s sending you mixed signals, and it’s driving you nuts!

You can only stand so many chirped out “Don’t worry ‘bout it, babe!”s before you start to get the wrong idea. I mean, who does this guy think he is, talking to you like that? He’s your friend - at least you think he is - so the fact he’s treating you like some pretty thing is getting on your nerves.

Little did you know, HE’S feeling the same way.

I mean seriously, are you blind? He’s genuinely curious. He wants to strangle you every time you tilt your head like a stupid dog, and go ‘huh?’! You have to be dumb, right? That, or you’re not interested in him. But, if the latter is the case, you need to grow a pair and tell him, so he can throw himself into practice for a couple of days and probably also get into a fight with Toya over something that wasn’t even that important- God, he’s rambling. He never rambles. You make him act all weird, he hates it. You suck.

You two have been keeping up the whole ‘I wanna kick your teeth in, and then make out’ thing for a while, without either of you knowing. It would be funny if it wasn’t so Goddamn infuriating. Endless rehearsals of Akito having his ‘man-period’ (as An has so affectionately dubbed it) have gotten old for everyone. How many times can he make everyone run through “Echo” before the novelty is taken out of the song?

At any rate, this can’t last forever. Something’s gotta give eventually.

And it did.

It did when Akito was (basically) tied down and (basically) forced to stare at you while you (..actually) talked to Kohane. It wasn’t his fault, okay? The sun was hitting your face just right, and you kept doing this endearing thing with your hair when it got in your face- it was like you taped his eyes open! Maybe if you’d stop being so charming while doing absolutely nothing, he wouldn’t have to look like a creep! It didn’t go unnoticed by you either.

Akito kept staring at you, and it kept throwing you off balance. You didn’t know why, only having asked Kohane a small number of a billion times. ‘Kohane, am I talking too loud?’ before quitting and just letting him look. You must’ve done something to piss him off, what a jerk! You’re so sick of him being so immature! He should just man up and tell you when he’s pissed, not give you a dirty look- well, the more you look at it, it isn’t all that dirty. Why is he making that weird lopsided face? It looks dumb. You decide to stare at him back.

Akito jumps, quickly shifting his eyes away from you. How embarrassing! God, he must look like such a loser. He tries to act casual as you turn your head back Kohane, finally letting out a breath when you bring your attention back.

He has never been more thankful for anything in his life. Truly. He was feeling blessed until he felt a nudge on his shoulder.

Now, he wasn’t excited to mess someone up in front of you, but he wasn’t about to look like some pussy either. Thankfully, there was no need, the sleaze seems chill, but damn, this guy sure looks like a toolbag.

“‘Sup, man?” He says, and Akito winces. This guy's voice is like nails on a chalkboard. Does he think he has swagger? How dare this guy interrupt his borderline creepy stalker time? He puts on an annoyed smile, deciding he has to be a little polite.

“‘Sup? Need somethin’?” God, he hopes not. He’s no good at directions, and he’s worse at being polite to bastards with ugly haircuts.

“Ah, was just wondering, that one yours?” The guy gestures to you two, nudging him again. Are you fucking kidding me right now? For his sake, Akito assumes this guy is talking about Kohane - which he still wasn’t enthusiastic about throwing to him - and shrugs. He felt a little dirty telling the name of his friend to this slimeball, but if it gets him off your back he’ll have to live with it. And he can just beat the daylights out of him if he tries anything funny anyway.

“The blonde girl with pigtails? Her name is Kohane, and no, I’m not with her, but she doesn’t-“ He’s quickly interrupted.

“No, no, the other one. Y’know the hot one talkin’ to her?”

Akito’s eye twitches. How dare this guy talk about you like that. His blood boils over, and he quickly grows defensive. Yes, you know what, you are his, and he’s not about to let this slimeball think any different. He can’t believe that anyone would dare think of you like that. “The hot one”? Ha, don’t make him laugh. You are hot, sure, but you’re also a total brat. Does that weirdo know your favorite drink from this café? For fucks sake, he didn’t even know your name. You’re not a thing, but you ARE his. He pushes the man - yes, man, he’s sure this guy is grown - away, masking himself in half-playfulness.

“Yeah, back off dude. They’re mine, yeah?” He’s loud - louder than he’d like - when he scolds him. He obviously comes off as hostile because everybody (including you. confused and probably disgusted you.) turned to look at him. Ugh, how embarrassing!

You and Kohane exchange confused glances, making him fall further into the pit of guilt. Maybe he went a little far, I mean you aren’t his, so maybe you’d be interested in him- Nah, he acts like a slimeball, and looks like one, despite all Akitos flaws, he’s miles better than this freak, but he probably embarrassed you. The guy backs away in defense, holding his hands up.

“Hey, hey, don’t worry, was just wonderin’ I know what you see in them.” The guy pulls back, obviously not about to take whatever shit Akito was so willing to put on him. Smart move, because his nice streak was running out. The guy scampers away, muttering out his apologies. Oh great, now he really looks like a psycho. He’s gonna have to change his name and switch schools-

He sees you turn to him and laugh, God, he’s so fucked.

Now you, mildly amused, somewhat heartbroken, and really pissed off you, had seen this little outburst, and the “they’re mine”, and immediately assumed he was talking about Kohane. Obviously. You two aren’t together, you thought you’d at least remember that.

Your first train of thought as his self-proclaimed ‘semi-best-friend’, was how dare he not tell you about this?! And how dare he just lead you on like that when he had a girlfriend? What a jerk! You didn’t even have feelings for him anyway. You’re better than that! You exhale, trying to calm your heart. It’s not the time for this. It’s ‘semi-best-friend-who-hates-him’ time, so you prance over to him with a shit-eating grin.

“Damn, someone’s protective of their girlfriend! I’m heartbroken that you didn’t tell me, y’know. I thought we were besties!” You knock into his shoulder, giving a convincing eyebrow wiggle.

What the fuck? No, like, seriously what the fuck? Akitos mind jumps around in his skull, not finding a single thing to say. Do you think- Really? Him and Kohane? He lets out a laugh, rubbing his eyes in exasperation. You’re so dumb sometimes, really dumb. Cute though. Smart too. Pretty, funny, dense-

“Nah, no I’m- I’m not with her.” His voice finally comes out, and you’re hit with a wave of confusion. Not with her? If that’s the case, what was his outburst even about?

“Then why the crash out, huh? Do you like her?” You tease, stretching out the ‘like’. Your hands go back to his shoulders, jumping up and down. If you were to be honest with yourself, you’d find that you’re guiltily happy at the fact they’re not dating. You’d never admit that though. Not to this punk.

His breath gets caught in his throat, his pulse quickening at the closeness. You’re such a dunce, are you blind? Do you not know how he feels? As said, he hasn’t really been subtle about it.

“I- uh-” He looks to the side, struggling to find anything to say. Whatever happened to stone-cold Akito? Is he just going to sit there foolishly? He's embarrassed, to say the least. How is he even supposed to rectify this? Hey, I’m totally into you, sorry for embarrassing you in front of our friend?! “I’m-”

“You do like her!” You screech, still shaking him up. You don't feel great about it, sure, but it's still fun to tease him. He's still your best friend, so-

“No, stupid I- God, that’s not it! You're so dumb, I was talking about you-“

You freeze, and so does he. Maybe that was the wrong thing to say. He decides it was.

“What?!” You sputter, stepping back. Did you hear him correctly? There's no way… right? You know that he had been flirty, sure, but this? A real confession? It seems completely out of character for the rough-and-tough boy, and it really did come from nowhere. Unfortunately, your confusion only serves to piss him off. Where do you get the nerve to act shocked?

“Whatdya mean ‘what?’?!” He crosses his arms, obviously growing irritated by your ignorance. He stares down at you, wiping his palms on his pants in suspense. “Do you not get it?-”

“I just thought you were…” you trail off, fidgeting with your hemline, “so you're not with Kohane?” Your voice is reluctant as you ask, wanting to confirm it; confirm he likes you.

“No, I’m not with Kohane!-“ He defends, running a hand through his hair.

“And… you like me?” You point to yourself.

“Yes, that's what I said-”

“Oh.”

“”Oh?!” What is “oh?!”?” His voice comes out embarrassingly high-pitched, and it furthers the awkward moment.

“Oh. It’s just… oh.”

You both look the other way, trying your best to peek at each other's faces while remaining indiscreet. He wasn’t about to look at you while you embarrassed him. You’re so annoying.

Silence is something you two don't do very well when you're together, but it develops… in time.

You break it, you always were charitable.

“I kinda like you too y’know,” you confess, “even if you're kind’ve a jackass and you have bad hair.”

“I- okay.” He doesn’t dare to look at you, much to your annoyance.

“”Okay”? You got mad at me for an “Oh” but you give me an “okay”?!”

-His subtle way of saying that he loves you is through doing things for you or worrying about you when you're sick or hurt. He has a caring side when it comes to you and that's how you know he truly does care.

-He can be a little mean when it comes to you being scared. He'll playfully tease you if you're getting scared over a movie, not really intending to hurt your feelings.

-If it's over something more physical like bugs then he'll do what he can to comfort you. It might not be the best but, he'll rub circles on your back as he hugs you and tells you that nothing is going to get you.

A/N: hi anon! Tysm for requesting!! So sorry i took this long but here it is! I do hope you enjoy (ʃƪ＾3＾）

Synopsis: reader purchases a pair of roller skates to school to show them off, even if she was an immature at it..

Contains: pure fluff! Can be platonic or romantic! Reader is a dumbass, pronouns arent mentioned

Last week you purchased a pair of roller skates and even better when they arrived on sunday! You could flex your new skates at school too! Even though you were an immature at roller skating you still had the confidence to do so

Just as you were getting ready to go to school, you put on your roller skates and started skating you way to school, thankfully school wasn't that far.. as you skate your way to school of course it would be obvious that you would bumped into certain objects such as the pole or plants but nevertheless you made it safe!

During lunch time you would often go around the school hallways or the school front and started practicing, of course you knew it was dangerous cause you might bump into people but you were having too fun to care! Just as you were skating you saw your classmate when you was still in elementary, you weren't that close with him but you'd still talk to him from time to time. While you were busy with your thoughts you didn't notice how akito was staring at you, he gave you a simple wave and was a but disappointed when you didn't wave back, that's when he knew that you were spacing out, he looks ahead and saw a pillar on your way, he quickly yells to get your attention.

"[Y/N]! Move!" He yells, causing you to focus your attention back at skating, you quickly noticed the pillar and tried to slow down your pace but none was working, you noticed this and tried to skate away from the pillar, surprisingly it worked, or so you thought, you quickly landed onto some bushes, how embarrassing.. thankfully.. the bush's leaves were there to cover you.

Akito quickly comes up to you and helped you get up. "You okay?" He asked, you quickly nodded and tried to shrug it off, you were still embarrassed to the fact that someone saw it "y-yeah.. im fine.!" You replied, akito looks up and down at you, a look of concern visible on his face. "Let me atleast help you.! You have an injury on your knee, your elbow, and a scar on your cheek.." he points out, you reluctantly nodded for his assistance, just as he was helping you walk to the clinic you quickly stopped him "w-wait, lets not go to the clinic.." you suggests, he quickly looked confused "why? Your clearly injured and you need treatment for that" he responded, you shook your head "i know.. but I just received my roller skates and they'll probably confiscate it.." you added, ofcourse he felt bad for you so instead of going to the clinic, he quickly made you sit on a nearby bench "stay here kay? Im gonna get some bandaids from the clinic" he added "oh, okay" you nodded and watched him rush to the clinic.

After a few minutes he came back with some bandaids, bandaid wrap, cotton and alcohol, he sat down with you and started treating you. You notice how it was.. silently awkward so why not strike up a conversation? "Wow.. didn't know you know how to do this.." you say awkwardly, akito chuckles a bit "its basic knowledge.. or maybe you dont know how to do it too" he replied playfully, causing you to chuckle as well. "Hey, i do know how to treat wounds.!" You reply playfully, akito sighs and shook his head. "Why'd you even bring your roller skates.. do you even know how to skate properly?" He asked, you shook your head awkwardly "careful.. it will sting.." he added "what- ow.!" You hissed, the alcohol on your bruised elbow surely did sting. "Hey, be gentle with it" you added "i am! I cant control the alcohol's stinginess.!" He replied playfully. Akito gently wrapped some bandaid on your knee and elbow and placing a bandaid onto your cheek. "Be careful next time kay?" He stated while you nodded your head in reply, akito stood up and stretched for a moment "did you atleast bring some extra shoes with you?" He asked, you laughed and quickly shook your head "haha! No" you replied, akito sighs. "Well.. guess im stuck with you then.. come on, get up" he says as he helped you stand up "it still hurts when i stand, but i'll manage" you shrugged, akito shook his head "no, no.. ill help you walk to your class.. you dont look like your capable of walking there" he added, you sigh and nodded "fine, fine" you replied taking his hand to support you when you stand up.

Touya silently sits in front of him, his brewed black coffee becoming colder by the second. maybe giving Akito your forgotten notebook was a mistake. but.. he couldn't bare seeing him so.. fragment. and as a person, as his best friend, he didn't want him to suffer anymore. but still..

"When did she give you this?" His voice was still, words flat as earth, low as dirt. Touya blinks, eyebrows slightly falling.

"The day she left." His reply was forward, sugar-coats inexistent. Touya was very aware of how much his best friend cared about you. if anything, more than him. the way his stirred, focused eyes easily went mellow at your presence, the way defeat was in front of the three of you, and he almost broke his mic due to the frustration. and you, just helped him up. again, again and again. smiling over, and over. and over. and Touya knows that he is the one who knows this factor about Akito, very much. "She said to give this to you. when.. things calm down."

the two tilt their heads towards the window of the cafe, Kohane and An's laughing faces filled their vision, as well as Miku; Rin and Len.

"Calm, huh.." Akito mumbles, feeling his grip tightening.

the air fell into silence, the two of them not daring to say another word. things were okay now. they were all together, their goals up ahead, a reach from beyond. but your smiling face always seemed to mock Akito. it was as if you were playing him around, saying 'why didn't you stop me'? but it was no use. there was nothing he could do about it.

staring at the virtual sky above, they somehow seemed much more blue than always. bright and wide.

he feels himself grinning, remembering your last words.

"Wait for me."

He smiles, facials bitter. yeah, he'd wait. even if that day never comes.

-The first time you formal met was in a cute little cafe down the street from the school

-That’s when he realized what a cool person you actually were and how much that he actually liked you

-A couple months later you guys were dating!

-The only people who knew were Kohane, An, Toya, and you group of close friends

-You guys had a secret relationship for about 2 months before somebody tried to ask you out and Akito got a little jealous and he introduced himself as your boyfriend.

You and Akito had been dating for about 2 months before somebody had actually come up to you to confess. Normally there were just like love letters in your locker, and you would get love confession texts. But this boy was a little more bold then the average guy that would ask you out, he walked up to you fully confident that you would have fallen in love with him at first sight and immediately go out with him.

“Hey cutie” He started which immediately set off a red flag with you

“Uh hi?” You questioned still trying to be nice

“So how would you like to go on a date with me sweetheart” he asks smirking and your surprised state

Luckily Akito, An, Toya, and one of your close friends were on the other side of the hallway from where this was taking place at, just ask Akito heard he started walking over to you.

“Hey what the hell are you asking her” Akito says with an angry expression walking up next to you causing you to turn your head to the sound of your angry boyfriend.

“Just asked her if she wanted to go on a date with me, what’s your problem dude” the guy turns to Akito and asks

“you.” Your ginger boyfriend says making eye contact with the guy even if he was taller then this guy

“Why what are you, her boyfriend” he says trying to mock Akito

“Uh yeah actually I am and that’s why I suggest that you leave my girlfriend alone” he said slightly lifting his chin to really make his point

“Wait for real..?” The boy asks looking kinda panicked as if he just realized that he saw a ghost or something

“Yeah” Akito said taking his hand in yours

The rest of the people around you guys were shocked, the most popular girl and school and this kid?! It didn’t make any sense why wouldn’t you date the most popular guy in school?!

The other guy quickly ran away when he realized that Akito was serious, he couldn’t have a bad reputation of hitting on girls with boyfriends.

But now the hard part, the whole rest of the school, but you two decided to leave that to another part or so you assume, just as you were about to talk to everybody else in the hallway Akito pulls your hand with him as he leads you up to the rooftop and takes a seat and pulls you in between his legs.

“Sorry” he says burring his head into your neck

“It’s okay, I really don’t mind” you say giggling at his action

“Mhm.. okay” he says starting to drift off into dream land

You decided to pull out your phone and just scroll for a minute but when you heard the bell you tried to get up and then realized that Akito was asleep and instead of going to class, you just decided that you would rather be with your boyfriend anyway and just let him continue to sleep.

-Honestly, he's only going because you asked him. He wasn't really all that interested in it and wasn't planning on asking you to go until you showed an interest in it.

-He tries his best to be gentlemanly and formal but you just end up laughing a little at his attempts. He kisses your hand when he picks you up at your house and would rather get there when you finish rather than waiting for you to finish getting ready.

-Akito holds your hand for 90% of the night. The only times he lets go is when you decide to go dance with your friends or are eating. He doesn't really want to leave your side just because he's not particularly a fan of this whole thing. He wants you to enjoy yourself though!

-Terrible slow dancer honestly. Even though it's at such a slower pace than what he normally does, he can't help but mess up. He's a bit nervous and so he's almost stepped on your foot more than once.

-The most you'll get out of him for a compliment is "Nice dress." or "I like your makeup/hair". He's trying to save himself from the embarrassment of having thought how pretty you are and how much it's made him feel all fuzzy inside.

-It's such a blast with Tsukasa. You both have so much fun. Whenever a popular song comes on, he'll take you to dance with him to it. Genuinely you both have the best time and it's an overall super fun experience.

-He talks to your parents while you finish getting ready and you're honestly not sure if you should feel embarrassed or happy that they get along but you can't help but over hear your parents saying something embarrassing about you..

-Both him and Saki went with you to pick out your dress and his suit for the night. Even though you can't say that they were much help because each one you tried on, you got lots of compliments and encouragement from the two. It ended up being a hard decision since Tsukasa agreed on liking nearly every single one.

-Matches his tie with whatever color dress you've picked. He takes so many pictures of the two of you as well. A lot of them are just silly ones but there's a few actual ones sprinkled in.

-He would like to take you out to dinner before the actual dance starts. It's a bit more special when it's just the two of you together at a restaurant rather than sitting with a bunch of other people at prom to eat dinner.

-He's such a gentleman. He meets you at your house before you both go and sits patiently while you finish getting ready. He is in no hurry at all and honestly, he'd be lying if he said he wasn't nervous about the whole experience.

-100% matched his suit with your dress. He would like the dress itself to be a surprise but he also wanted to match with you so you both had to decide on a color to go with. Toya is truly okay with whatever colors you pick but, he'd likely go for a blue and black color scheme.

-At a loss for words when you come out of your room when you've finished. All he can do is clear his throat once he feels like he's stared too long and made it awkward. He's never been to such a formal event before so it's a first for him seeing you in such a formal outfit.

-Toya will slow dance with you when the right song comes on. He's surprisingly good at it and it makes you think he practiced before that night (he probably did..). A bit hesitant with his hands but he'll ease up and rest them on your lower back.

-He's the perfect date for prom in all. He makes it such a great experience for you without even trying. Toya just has a great time because you're there, he doesn't particularly care about the music or the food or anything as much as he does for you that night.

-Again, Rui wouldn't really be all that big on prom or very interested in it unless you showed an interest. He'll ask you to prom only if you show that you are interested in it.

-He took a picture of the two of you at prom and then you noticed later in the night that he actually had made it his lockscreen. He thought it was a good picture so he just decided to make it his lockscreen for his phone!

-Super chill about the whole thing. Yes, he's having fun with you, he just doesn't particularly have an interest in most of the activities. He'll follow you around, dancing with you if you ask him to or participate in any of the activities they have.

-He sure as hell flustered you quite a few times during the night. Whether it be with a kiss or his words, he truly did it unintentionally the first few times!

-Rui doesn't mind if you want to go hang out with your friends for a bit during prom, he'll wander till he finds Nene or Tsukasa (if they're even there) and chat with them till you come and find him again.
