Headcanon Crossover of Kuroko no Basket x Shokugeki no Soma

What if Generation of Miracles (also Kuroko, Kagami, etc., which include some 2nd grade students) met Generation of Jewels (a.k.a. 92nd gens, even 91st gens) and then had a friendship battle on street basketballs? It would be fun to see the basketball pros vs. the chefs turn into basketball amateurs.

I chose this jersey design with this color scheme because it represents the fire, an important element as the chefs are related to cooking. The fire colors also represent their inferno spirit in cooking, especially related to food wars (shokugeki), like jewels that become more valuable when forged in fire. The team name can be as "Jewels"/"Gyoku"/"ギョク"

Both teams have the Shooting Guards that taller and heavier than the Small Forwards. Surprisingly, both SGs and SFs have a height difference of only 6 cm in each team. - Kiseki: Shintaro Midorima (SG) 195 cm/79 kg > Ryōta Kise (SF) 189 cm/77 kg. - Gyoku: Akira Hayama (SG) 177 cm/63 kg > Soma Yukihira (SF) 171 cm/57 kg.

Coincidentally, both Daiki Aomine and Akira Hayama, who have the jersey number #5, are voiced by Junichi Suwabe. Maybe I deliberately did it (or not), I just randomly put the jersey number for SnS characters. There is another character who shares the same voice actor as Yuki Ono (Taiga Kagami & Isami Aldini), sadly, I don't put Isami on the same number as Kagami bcs there is another character that more important than him, that is the beloved senpai a.k.a. Isshiki.

I decided to make Takumi the captain instead of Soma. On average, the several captains of basketball teams are usually often the target of butt-monkey because they often deal with some of their members shenanigans who make their heads boiled, some are even often used as jokes, for example Hyuga, Kasamatsu, and Okamura, it can be said that on average, captains are the hot-blooded and always get the shits. But on the other hand, they are people who are assertive and able to embrace their team well, and can act rationally and logically. And those descriptions are matched for Takumi, who is also assertive and rational.

Meanwhile, I made Soma as vice-captain bcs he is the more laid-back one and the only one who can help Takumi in carrying out his duties (and also the only one who berated him the most, LOL!). Their dynamics reminded me of their mentors' ones, Gin Dojima-Joichiro Yukihira, where Gin is the 1st seat while Joichiro is the 2nd seat. If only there was no Erina above Soma, even if Erina's grandfather had not directly appointed Soma as the first seat, there is a possibility that Takumi could have become the first seat and Soma the second seat (of course that would require a lot of processes), so their dynamics would be exactly the same as Gin-Joichiro. The Takumi-Soma dynamic is also exactly the same as Hyuga-Izuki where Izuki, as the vice-captain, also often makes puns that annoy Hyuga. There are even similarities with the Hyuga-Kiyoshi dynamic, where Kiyoshi as Ace (not captain or vice-captain) in his era, was more laid-back and annoying to Hyuga. I think the dynamic between the assertive captain x the laid-back vice captain will be a great dish for Captain Takumi x Vice Captain Soma.

Takumi is the only one of the captains who is blond. All the vice captains (Kagami & Soma), even Akashi as the captain, are the red-heads.

In the coach and manager staffs, we have Joichiro, Erina, and Megumi act as the laid-back pro daddy coach, assertive and serious assistant coach girl, and sweetheart manager girl respectively, just like Kagetora, Riko, and Momoi.

Both the coaches are the dad of the protags. But Kagetora is Riko's dad (the Seirin coach girl), while Joichiro is Soma's. Both of them are funny dads who like to tease their own children.

In the girls section, Megumi is shorter than Riko for the girls within the height of 150s cm (Riko 156 cm, Megumi 154 cm), while Erina is taller than Momoi for the girls within the height of 160s cm (Momoi 161 cm, Erina 162 cm).

Both the girls within the height of 160s cm have the big boobs and curvaceous body more than the girls within the height of 150s cm.

Riko is the only one of the girls who is a 2nd-grade student. Almost all of the girls are first-grade students.

Updated: Then I realized that Akira shares the same birthday as Midorima (July 7th). The Cancerian shooting guards.

Neither team has any members from the 3rd grade. It means Kiseki consists of 8 members of the 1st grade and 2 members of the 2nd grade. Meanwhile, Gyoku consists of 7 members of the 1st grade and 3 members of the 2nd grade.

You can take the setting where they all move up a class in the final season. But tbh, I prefer to take the setting of the majority time when they are still in the initial class (since the 1st graders are the great time rather than the next time skip.)

“Everything is here. The cake is cooling in the fridge, The fondant is rolled and properly colored and the frosting is-'' I pause my listing as I realize the frosting isn't where I left it. “Huh?” Did I misplace it or something? “Could've sworn I left it right here.” I blink twice in an attempt to backtrack from when I had it. “Okay, so I remember grabbing the ingredients from the fridge, then setting them right here,” pointing to the counter as I pull a pout. “Then I brought out the stand mixer and began making it. Afterward, I turned away to put the mixer away but when I turned back I still remember seeing it.” I close my eyes in hopes that’ll jog my memory, “Then I ran to my room to get my molding knives and called Soma in to watch the Strawberry puree boiling.” Wait. I called Soma. “I came back and that's when I don't recall seeing it.” That bastard. “SOMA!” I yell throughout the dorm as I dash to his room in a fit of annoyance. As I made my way past several of my roommates, they each gave a fearful expression and made way for me to get by. I clutch the doorknob, slamming the door wide open as I catch the thief red-handed. He had the spoon halfway in his mouth as the frosting was mostly gone, eyes slightly dilating at my entrance. “Oh, Uh...Hey Y/n.” I glare at him, “Why are you eating my frosting.” He looks anywhere but my gaze as he lets out a nervous chuckle, “It looked good so I took a bit and then a bit turned into a spoonful, and well you see what happened.” I sigh, “Whatever, just know you’re making me dinner for the next month for that.” He smirks, “Why say that like it's a bad thing? I love making food for you, Y/n.” My heart warms at his sentiment, “Yeah yeah.” I make my way to close the door but stop just short to peek my head in, “However, do that again and I’ll make sure the only thing you can eat is frosting.” He drops his smile to replace it with worry at my threat, “Yes ma’am.” I close the door and shake my head, too touched to be truly mad. “He thought it was that good?” I let out a breathy laugh on my way back to the kitchen to remake it, “Stop making me want you to come back to steal my food you idiot.” 

Akira Hayama

-Very proud of you 

-However, he isn't very keen on showing it so you’ll have to be patient

-There are some things you add in that even he doesn't sniff out which is probably the only time he’ll get curious and ask about it

“Making something new? What crazy ingredient did you add this time, hm?”

-May act all mean but he is actually very excited when you come to let him try your food

         -Never call him out though, he’ll always deny it

- “This again? Still hard at work trying to perfect it, are you? Fine ill have a taste.”

-Don't let the facade fool you, he’d hate if you asked anyone else to try your food.

       -Can be a bit childish when it comes to that

“Is it too salty?” He smacks his lips a few times, taking in the flavor. “If anything it's a bit lumpy, kinda dry too.” I scrunch my face, “Odd. Could've sworn I kept the heat low enough. Guess I wasn't paying enough attention.” He tilts his head, “The flavors aren't bad though, honestly pretty perfect if you ask me.” I give a small smile, delighted by his praise. “Sorry to drag you all the way here for this Soma.” He gives a low chuckle, “No problem. I'm always down to taste test, especially your amazing food!” I grab the plate with the crumbs of the cake I had recently made and brought it to the sink, “You do not need to flatter me.” He shakes his head, “No flattery needed. You’re talented, nothing to sugar coat y’know.” I wasn't sure how to respond to such blatant compliments so I settled for a small lopsided grin.  “Thanks, that means a lot. Especially coming from the first seat of the council himself.” A light pink brushed his cheeks, “Now whos doing the flattering? It's nothing to brag about. I do have a lot I must improve on.” His ability to grow never ceases to surprise me, “You have quite the determined spirit, it's admirable.” 

“Yeah, I'm sure he's quite the guy.” 

We both turn to the voice that chimed in, “Ah, Akira, how's it going?” Soma inquires with his usual enthusiasm but the albino doesn't share the sentiment. “Fine. What's happening here?” I don't miss his dismissive tone as he turns himself to me. “Soma was just taste-testing a recent cake I was making.” He narrowed his eyes for a moment, “Well how's that going?” He asked but I'm certain he didn't really want the honest answer to that. “Still need some tweaking, but good overall.” He folds his arms, “Well I'm glad he's been of assistance. Now I think thats enough for today, it's getting late.” Its 6:30… Soma chirps up, “Well i gotta head out, needa prepare some stuff for tomorrow's food war, see ya’!” He waves as he leaves the room, and for a split second, you could see a glint of a smirk on Akira’s face.

“You’re such a jealous child.”

“Shut up.”

“You know I'm right.” He pulls me in, pressing a warm kiss to my forehead, “You don't need him to taste your food. I was here y’know.” I rest on his chest, “You never really seemed interested in tasting my food so I asked Soma since he wasn't busy.” He tightens his grip, “Don't do that again. Just come to me and ill give you feedback.” I give a knowing smile but don't comment on his obvious jealousy, “Well ill keep that in mind.”

Erina Nakiri

-A true sweetheart honestly

-Will 100% help you with your sweets and pastries as the loving girlfriend she is

-Baking dates every weekend is a must

 “Quite the variety you have! All this for just one night?”

-Takes a little more time to judge the taste since she does truly enjoy your food and doesn't want to miss any key flavors

       -Has to take a few tastes to actually take it in and not just judge with her god tongue and all that

“Wow, this is well made! The ganache you used brings a beautiful contrast to the moisture from the cake; well done my dear.”

-Basically, her and Hisako's relationship if they were dating; just very doting and sweet entanglement

    The kitchen brimmed with anticipation as I stood beside her as she flour-dusted the countertops, and the sweet scent of vanilla permeated the air. Today, she had invited me to step into her world, to experience the artistry she crafted every day.

I watched with admiration as Y/n effortlessly measured ingredients, their hands moving with precision and grace. Their culinary intuition was a marvel, as they expertly combined flavors and textures to create a symphony of tastes. The kitchen became their canvas, and I was fortunate enough to witness the strokes of their pure genius.

With every task that was to assigned me, Y/n’s patience and guidance enveloped me. They encouraged me to embrace the techniques, trust my instincts, and pour love into each step. Their professional expertise blended with unwavering belief in me, ignited a newfound passion within my heart.

With a sense of accomplishment, we adorned our creations with delicate touches, transforming them into edible works of art.

Sitting at the table, forks in hand, we tasted the fruits of our labor. Each bite danced on my taste buds, an orchestra of flavors that sang of our love and shared passion. At that moment, I felt the warmth of Y/n’s presence, the fulfillment of our culinary journey, and the sweet taste of a love nurtured by the joy of creation.

I carefully dusted the final touches of powdered sugar onto the delicate pastries, admiring the golden crust and the perfectly piped cream filling. My heart swelled with pride as I surveyed the display of my creations in the bakery. This was my passion, my art—the result of years of dedication and hard work.

Just as I was about to take a step back to fully appreciate the beauty before me, I felt a pair of arms wrapping around my waist. Takumi, my Italian chef boyfriend, nuzzled his face into the crook of my neck, his warm breath sending shivers down my spine.

"Y/n, these look amazing," he murmured, his voice filled with admiration. "But you know, there's something missing."

I turned my head to catch a glimpse of his mischievous smile. "Oh? And what might that be?"

He pouted playfully, his eyes sparkling with mischief. "Well, you see, I've been craving your sweet treats all day. You can't just tempt me with these delectable pastries and not save a few for your beloved Italian chef."

I couldn't help but chuckle at his theatrics. Takumi had a way of tugging at my heartstrings with his charm and infectious enthusiasm for food.

"All right, all right," I relented, unable to resist his request. "I'll save a couple of pastries just for you. But you better be prepared to savor every bite, Takumi."

He grinned triumphantly, his eyes gleaming with delight. "That's what I like to hear, Y/n. You know just how to make me happy."

As I carefully set aside a small box of pastries reserved exclusively for him, I couldn't help but marvel at the power food had to bring us closer. Our shared love for culinary delights was a bond that we cherished—a language of flavors and textures that spoke volumes in our relationship.

And so, with a secret stash of pastries hidden away, I looked forward to the moment when Takumi would indulge in my sweet creations. Because in those moments, as he savored every bite, I knew that our connection was strengthened, and our love for each other grew sweeter, one dessert at a time.

Cooking With Your Heart Pt. 3: Food Wars (Akira x reader, Ryo x reader)

Another morning at Totsuki Academy. You’re woken up by the intercom set up in your room. Breakfast goes smoothly. And now you’re bored and aimless. In two day you had met and gotten acquainted with your housemates, already met the spice master, cooked to your hearts content and settled in a new place. What else was there to do in this place? Classes hadn’t started so you were pretty aimless.

You decide to wander the campus and get acquainted with the place before classes start. As you embark to the campus you can’t help but to feel lonely. No one was around. Was everyone having cooking all the time?

You see two figures in the distance and instantly perk up. You decide to beeline it to them and introduce yourself. Before you can get a word out the female welcomes you.

“Hi!” She waves as you get closer.

You wave back. Before you can get a word out, she starts talking.

“You’re y/n y/l/n? Right? I’ve seen you in the magazines with your parents. How exciting to have you here.  Would you critique my food?”

And there it was. The one question you will have to encounter every time. You sigh.

“I’m sorry but no. I’m here to cook not critique.” You decide to start walking away but your path is blocked by a tall male with black hair dressed all in black.

“Ryo! Make her give me a critique!” She whines to the male and turns to him.

He looks at you unsure of what to do next. He tries to give you the best intimidating look he can muster but you’re unphased.

“I can’t make her do anything.” He says.

She is quick to assault him with small punches to the back as she berates him for not being a good aide. You stand there making eye contact with him, pitying his disposition.

You clear your throat to try to get her attention. She is too caught up in her momentum to stop. So, you introduce yourself to the male named Ryo.

“As you heard I’m y/n/ y/l/n. And you are?”

“Ryo Kurokiba.” He says dully.

You nod and lean a little bit to get a better view at the female. “And who is she?”

“Alice Nakiri.”

“Hmmm. From the Nakiri family that owns this whole thing?”

He nods.

“Well, she’s this weird and this was a weird encounter. It was nice meeting both of you… I think.”

Ryo’s eyes catch a blaze. “What did you say?”

“It was nice meeting you?” You’re confused.

“No. You called Miss Alice weird.” He steps closer to you.

“I also called you weird. And I stand by it.” You say defiantly.

Ryo grits his teeth in anger. Alice stops hitting him, confused at what has happened.

“Apologize.” He demands.

“Pfft! No way. I call it like I see it. There’s your critique.” You say rudely and turn around and leave.

You decide to go back to the dorm. It was worthless to try to find anyone to talk to on campus. As you enter the dorm you hear Soma exclaiming, he “will do it!” You wonder what he is doing. When you get closer you find out that he’s entering a food war in a couple of hours.

“A food war?” You ask as you get closer to Megumi.

“Yes. It’s when two chefs compete to see who makes a better dish. It’s a high-stake competition where they put their reputation and their pride on the line.”

“Oh. That sounds like fun.” You say.

“You should come! You’re going to love it.”

It’s been a couple of hours and Soma had already made his way to the stadium. You and Megumi followed a little bit later to make it just in time. You notice that the Polar Star pack is sitting together. You find it weird that they’re always together but join in.

As you sit down you see Akira making his way to where you guys were sitting. You make eye contact and he quickly looks away. He sits quietly in between the group. You make a mental note to try harder to get him to like you. Suddenly someone sits next to you. Ryo and Alice, side by side, join the group as well. Ryo is sure to glare at you from the short distance he was sitting at. You’re surprised but you guessed everyone knew each other and you were the odd one out.

“Ever seen a food war?” Yuki asks, surprising you.

You shake your head.

“Keep you eyes on Soma. It’s a sight to see.”

Your eyes trail to where Yuki was looking, Soma.

The lights dim and they spotlight Soma and the other chef. They start to cook, and you’re mesmerized at Soma’s swift and efficient movements. You’re trying to figure out what he’s making. The group is speculating and talking about his ingredients. You’re quiet and taking it all in. This was what you wanted, to make yourself known. If a food war was what it took, then so be it.

The match ends and Soma is the winner. It went by so fast that you doubted that it even happened. The crowd cheers Soma’s name, you join in.

As the group leaves the stadium you turn to Ishki.

“How do I get into a food war?”

Ishki is taken aback, “Woah. You just got here. If you’re any good, it’ll happen naturally.”

You frown. “I’m ready to prove myself.”

“There’s many ways you can do that without jumping into a food war. Let’s talk more on it and you’ll understand.”

“Party at Zenji’s!” Someone exclaims in the back ground.

You hear Zenji object. You walk silently back to the dorm. You kept thinking about how you had to be proactive in finding opportunities to showcase your talent. The faster you do that the faster people will stop caring about what your last name is and focus on what you can actually do. That might bring the trouble you’re asking for. If you came here to be a chef, goddammit, you’re going to act like one.

That night you wrote feverishly in your little notebook. Question after question. Ingredient after ingredient. If you were in a food war, you had to prove that you’re the best. You couldn’t wait around and hope for the best.

Back at the mansion, Ryo completed a set of push ups. He was still fuming at the interaction he had with you. He was the only one that could insult Miss Alice. He didn’t care if he was called weird, but never Miss Alice. He didn’t care who you were, you are not above Alice Nakiri. He focused all his energy on how to make you pay or at least regret running into him and Alice. Maybe someone needed to teach you a lesson.

Food Wars! Shokugeki no Souma in: Going Grocery Shopping

(Char. Involved: Sōma Yukihira, Akira Hayama, Takumi Aldini, Eishi Tsukasa)

(Thank you so much for 40 notes! Here's another one for you guys. Sorry i couldn't do a short story for these but take some headcanons my dears.)

Sōma Yukihira

-Usually you cant take him anywhere because he causes an issue in which you have to be asked to leave (much to your despair)

-The grocery store is probably the only place you two can go without much problems

-May or may not be sneaking ingredients that werent on your list into the shopping cart

"Oh? What do you mean there werent any Rice crackers and Salmon in the cart before? I'm certain you put them in."

-Will asked to be pushed in the cart around the aisles

-If he ever gets lost, find him in the Frozen Dessert aisle, he loves it there for whatever reason

"C'mon Babeeee. Just one more tub of Ice cream.....Yes i know we already have 4 tubs already. Your point is?"

-However if you were shopping for a food war/cooking practice, he'd be very helpful

-Recommending ingredients, telling you the best flavor combinations from his experience, and slipping in a few personal items

-Overall, hes a massive child in the store so please hold his hand so he doesn't run off

Akira Hayama

-A rollercoaster of emotions

-Its like stepping into a whole other world when you food shop with him

-He tends to find the items in the store "Sub par" and "Second rate" but always picks the best ones with his well trained sense of smell

"Why bother buying from these cheap stores when i have fresh spices and blends at home?"

-He'd swear he hates shopping with you but secretly enjoys the time he spends with you (Good luck getting him to admit it though)

-May subtly tease and feign ignorance when you need help reaching something at a higher shelf

"Hm? Cant you reach it on your own from down there?” -pause- “Whats that look on your face for?"

-On rare occasions, he'll hold your hand when you go together

-He swears its just so that you dont get lost but you know better

-To be honest, its just less of a arduous task if you just go by yourself

Takumi Aldini

-One of the most normal ones on this list if we're being honest

-Its just a calming and sweet time through and through

-He's usually the one to ask you to go with him but will flush when you ask why

"Dont be silly, I just thought you'd want to pick up some things for your upcoming food war, thats all."

-Will never leave you on your own in the store since he loves spending time with you more than he'll admit (his face gives him away)

-He'll push the cart and carry your bags like a gentleman

"How could you even say that, Il mio amore? As if id let you carry them when you already paid."

-An absolute god at picking vegatables for some reason

-His background in the restaurant business definitely plays a part

-In the top 3 (And not three) guys you should always bring when you're shopping

-A walking beige flag when it comes to shopping

-You either love it or want to rip every single hair from your body with tweezers

-Hes not loud or causing a disturbance but hes micro managing and nitpickjng everything

"Thats the one you chose?" "Uhp, I wouldnt go with that one."

-Its better to just let him do everything because he'll make you feel stupid no matter what move you make (even though thats not his intention)

-He means well but lets be honest, you just arent on the same page very often in terms of shopping

"I apologize dear but you know im particular. I dont mean to hover."

-If you have no filter and tell him to cut it out, he'll immeidiently draw back into himself at your blantant rejection

-His more awkward side will show and he will mumble endless strings of apologies

-Just be ready to put up with this weird snowflake

Sorry this took a while! I'm not too active on this blog anymore (if it wasn't obvious but I am cooking up an AU that I might write) but I got you.

Akira actually thinks Soma's food is delicious so he's pretty much always ok with testing Soma's new experiments, only to forget the culinary monstrosities he can come up with

Nose plugs are a common sight during these times

They are the "enemies to rivals to lovers" trope only they're still rivals while lovers. (Honestly, Soma is this with like 90% of the ships he's in)

Akira can be overwhelmed with just how much prep and experimentation Soma does and it inspires him to work even harder

The two of them bond over the trauma of being smacked by Jun

Once Soma gets to travelling around the world, he always looks for things and new spices that he thinks Akira will love (and some he knows Akira will hate)

Akira opens his own restaurant when he's older and every now and then Soma cooks at it when he's not travelling. Demand sky rockets on those days

Akira introduces Soma to high fashion while Soma gets Akira into trash "reality" TV. They both hate and love each other for that

They adopt a cat who Soma names "Peanut Butter". Akira is annoyed to no end that the cat only answers to that

The day Akira calls the cat "PBJ" Soma is so happy he holds onto Akira the whole day

Akira sometimes uses Soma's fingers as replacements for his cinnamon sticks to smell. Soma thinks it's one of the most attractive things Akira does.

I'm glad that you're feeling a bit better! Hope the rest of your day goes well. May I please request a matchup for Food Wars and Hetalia? (If I'm only allowed one, then Food Wars, please!) My pronouns are she/her and I'm straight.

Appearance: long wavy auburn hair and my eyes are more of a honey brown. I always wear round glasses. I'm pale with freckles on my cheeks and nose. 5’9, more of an hourglass shape and have a bit of muscle.

Personality:  INFJ, 1w9, leo, Ravenclaw. I unintentionally come off as intimidating, although I'm a very gentle person. Since I'm a bit reserved, I take a long time to open up to others. I'm adventurous and have completed a dream of mine - living/working in a country that doesn't speak my language. I'd consider myself to be witty with a sarcastic sense of humor, as well as conscientious and clumsy. I can get easily flustered. Despite possibly having described myself as uptight, I often go with the flow to show I'm lighthearted. I really enjoy having me time but like being with those close to me from time to time. I'd also see myself as encouraging and supportive. Boredom isn’t something that I really experience, as I can easily entertain myself. I spend lots of time reflecting, trying to understand myself and others.

Hobbies/Interests: I enjoy writing short horror stories, listening to music, singing, reading, and practicing languages the most. In terms of exercise, I love doing yoga, dancing, going on hikes, exploring my surroundings (It involves lots of walking so it totally counts as exercise, right?). The vast majority of TV shows and movies I enjoy relate to the occult, Victorian history, and animation. Being an avid horror fan, animated movies are for sure a guilty pleasure of mine. Coco is 10/10 for a good cry. Genealogy, demonology, and biology are deep loves of mine, too. Not sure how weird this may come across, but I have a deep fascination with death and thoroughly enjoy delving into topics on it, especially the afterlife. It’s not as important for me to have the other person agree as it is to explore the unknown with them.

Favorite Color: purple, but I mostly wear black and white.

Favorite Food: practically anything, I’m not picky. Though, my favorite drink is hot chocolate.
