Are any of your characters super epic gamers? If not, do any of them have interesting or unique hobbies?

If i were to pick out outta my currently revealed characters these guys probably contain the most potential to be gamers lol

put in a comfortable scenario Caret and Asterisk would 100% play videogames, while Asterisk plays your usual popular completive games (like Overwatch(?), Call of Duty or uh... League--) I think Caret is the more casual gamer, and for some reason could still win against Asterisk (which greatly annoys her)

Canonically Akane is just, the gamer outta my characters... she's had a lot of free time lol

But she's also a sort of "child prodigy" with videogames so she's a cheater in that regard

these losers do not play videogames really put in any scenario:

While Polka would have the opportunity to be a gamer in the most comfortable scenario, she would deviate to other things anyway. (Though I'm sure she would keep her interest in a certain, puzzle survival horror game...)

Polka does always like writing her own poems (and maybe even singing them...), while Tilde just enjoys taking strolls and easygoing things like fishing. Aside from that, they both don't really have any interesting hobbies either, lol

Lisa and An look so similar, and p5 is a lot like p2 so why not connect them!

Lisa’s dad has an older brother who got married to a Japanese woman, who I want to say kickstarted his descent into being a complete Japanophile, but I haven’t really figured out the ages for that to work yet. I wanna say he was like, early to pre teens when Big Bro Silverman started dating/got married to his wife but idk

Anyway Big Bro Silverman and his wife have a daughter, who then gets married to the Papa Takamaki, explaining the name change (ofc I coulda made Big Bro into Big Sis Silverman and had the same effect but wtvr) and they have An.

But Wonder’s parents are canonically just- SHHH in my head p5 and p5x take place in different timelines, which is why I’m comfortable in saying that in my headcanon, Wonder is Katsumaya’s kid and in the p5x timeline Katsuya’s dead which is why his home life is, vaguely nonexistent from what I’ve heard. In mainline p5 timeline he’s a way happier kid and him and Ren are really close!

But Ren’s parents are probably really bad, we don’t hear from them ONCE- Shut up shutupshutupshutup that’s your opinion, Flowerchild AU 🔛🔝 I love them. Tatsujun adopted Ren at about age, idk 3-4? So Tatsujun’d be about 21ish? Also due to ✨gayness✨ I doubt that Tatsujun are married legally (Idrk Japanese laws very well, let alone their gay ones lol) and Jun’s last name is Kashihara bc. The Punishment is in fact Eternal

Alright I stole the idea of Yuka (persona 1) being Ryuji’s mom right off of @/hypogryffin, so yeah

Again Zenkichi and Saori being siblings is smth I got from hypogryffin, but it’s reasonable to come to this conclusion because they have the same last name. Also, if we say that Zen is 44 in p5s during 2017, and Saori is 18 in 2009, then that means that there’s an about 18 year difference between them, which is very funny to me. Also I think Minako would love to meet little 6ish year old Akane and that’s fun

Also, idk if I want to go the Futago sibs route or add in Baofu being Futaba’s bio dad, which would both be interesting. I do like the idea of Ken and Akechi being half siblings tho, so I put that in (also I accidentally misspelled Shido’s first name lol)

Last Jump Of The Year!!

We've got a hilariously adorable cover page, new franky VA (hello Todo Aoi,) and a bunch of jump festa news. I couldnt even touch the magazine till 5 pm my time, so no reviews, but I'll work on a review of all the series in jump this year, and we'll see if it happens. Thanks for reading Jump with me all this time!

Either 10 - What kind of jokes make them laugh? Or 11 - Do they enjoy pranks or do they hate them? Are they likely to fall for a prank? For Polk or Tilde or Akane >:)

I'll answer all of these, lol

Akane and Tilde both are extremely easily amused and love things such as puns! Any sort of silly even bad "lol random" jokes will make them laugh as long as it fits the convo and it's context, ahaha.

Polka on the other hand is a very,,, no nonsense sort of person due to her upbringing partly-- But she does have a more serious leaning nature to begin with. Ask her a question for a joke and she'll answer logically and honestly. Most things will fly over her head, unfortunately. It is not easy to make her laugh from jokes...

Now, pranks Akane absolutely loves. She will do any sort of prank, even if it's a bit unsafe. Tilde and Polka aren't really pranksters though. Tilde in his nature is very kind and considers the feelings of others (even Polka's, sometimes.); but he'll def get you back for a prank with another! Tilde is actually still innocent as well, so he is an easier person to trick/prank. He doesn't quite dislike them, but might get annoyed at some point lol. However, Polka doesn't like them at all...

She is usually the butt of every prank, since it's incredibly easy to pick on her. Polka definitely will swear vengeance for her ego eventually... so uh, good luck after you've pissed her off enough.

Also dangit DJ why did you reveal Akane's existence LOL

I love this moment from Shin. No-Kill rules are always interesting when they're stretched to their breaking point.

This is evidently setting up the divide between Chihiro and the Kamunabi a bit more, and I really like it.

The idea that this is not the first time Sol and Luna have been erased by their own people is kinda funny to me though. Kings of never learning from their mistakes

This was a very... Standard chapter.

Blue Box wins "funniest relationship progression"

Chinatsu's Dad is a deeply funny character

Ultimate Exorcist Kiyoshi wins "I hate this guy"

This trope always pisses me off. Rest of the chapter was pretty good though

Akane-Banashi wins "best contrast"

This page so elegantly shows the divide between these two and how they perceived each other, I love it.
