My first adventure in the lands between is indeed toward its end (I'm 135h in I think) ! (I forgot to answered you last time sorry too XD) I just need to finished some catacombs and stuff at the mountain tops, the fire giant, Farum Azula, Mohg & Malenia (+ I reach the frenzied flame too! so I might do that too but I need to be sure to have the needle) and I think I did almost everything else ? I think ?? maybe I forgot 1-2 catacombs or a few optional bosses (oh yeah I need to do the bell bearing hunters...) but I think I might have done almost everything else ?? (don't don't ask me for all the items & papers lol XD )

I have the week in vacation so I might try to finished it this week. (Gonna try to stream my attempts at Malenia too...omg...)

So, besides it would probably take hours to talked about all the characters + I don't know everything yet but let's go with the few I liked the most I think.

Thought I would give this a try, I need to do some writing exercises for my sequel

OC: Scar, my OC/ YN from my Lady Dimitrescu x YN story: The Color Crimson. Her pronouns are she/her, she’s a cis woman, and an extremely useless lesbian

Background: former BSAA soldier from the RE universe, she had her memory wiped by Mother Miranda after a series of failed experiments. Miranda wiped Scar’s memory clean in an attempt to replace her memories with Eva’s memories. It didn’t work and sadly Scar now has amnesia and can only remember the most traumatic memories of her past. After being deemed a “failure” and unfit vessel for Miranda’s daughter Eva, she was gifted to Alcina as a maid. Unbeknownst to Scar, Alcina was tasked to watch over Scar and was ordered not to kill her and see if any of Eva’s memories would ever surface, however, they never did.

Glance: what stands out most about Scar is the fact that she always carries around her sword with her. It’s a sword from her past that she used while she was a BSAA soldier and she’s rather gifted in swordsmanship. She’ll carry it around with her everywhere and occasionally uses it to cut her food or pick her teeth in an attempt to be funny.

Stature: she was tall even before receiving Alcina’s blood at 5’9, after getting Alcina’s blood and undergoing a transformation, she now stands at 6’7 1/2. Scar has a muscular athletic body, she stays in shape and has a similar body to Jennifer Walters aka SheHulk. No she’s not a big gigantic freak monster😑 she just muscular and tall aight? I mean she was a soldier after all, so she not no dainty little flower girl.

Motion: very awkwardly, bounces when she walks without realizing what she’s doing. It almost looks like she might break out into a dance when she walks. She’s a very clumsy woman, she opened up a door once and wasn’t paying attention, then got hit on the head by the door and ended up with a bloody cut on her eyebrow.

Stillness: she doesn’t know the meaning of still. She’s always doing something with her hands, playing with her hair, rubbing the back of her neck- something she often does when nervous- clicking a pen, she moves her hand while she talks, sometimes she likes to hold her wolf’s necklace when she’s scared because it helps ground her.

Canvas: Her name is Scar so yes, you can imagine. She has a Scar straight down the middle of her right eye from a wound sustained in battle. She also has a burn scar on her abdomen, similar to Zuko’s lightning scar from Azula. She also has a few whip marks on her back from being punished by Miranda. Scar has a Grim Reaper tattoo on her right shoulder as well, it’s symbolic of her father who was one of the founding members of the BSAA Ghost Squad team (my own lore). Her father’s code name was Grim Reaper and when he was killed she got a tattoo of the Grim Reaper to honor him. Guess which BSAA team she belonged to and what her nickname was?

Night: boxers and a t-shirt, sometimes just boxers, occasionally she’ll wear sweatpants with or without a shirt. Sometimes she sleeps naked, it depends on how hot it is.

Day: Scar will wear cargo pants with a flannel or buttoned up t-shirt. She kind of dresses up like a modern day pirate, sword on, belt, buttoned up t-shirt, suspenders, and trousers. Sometimes she wears a gun holster. She’s a little androgynous though, Scar can be known to wear dresses and heels once in a great while, but she usually wears more masc clothes. She just feels more comfortable in them and thinks they feel better than feminine clothes. Also pockets.

Formal: Scar has two formal looks: a suit and tie or a sexy red dress. For the suit it’s navy blue nice dress pants and buttoned up coat with gold cufflings that have the Dimitrescu insignia engraved on them. The outfit is complete with a pair of polished black shoes, a white buttoned up shirt, navy blue suspenders to match her pants and coat, and a navy blue Victorian styled vest. For the dress: she styles her hair down, wears a low-cut flowing, crimson-red dress that show off her breasts, define the curves on her body, and expose her back. The dress is completed with a gold necklace of the Dimitrescu family, her wolf’s necklace she never takes off, and gold heels. Sometimes she’ll wear a bracelet to add a little flare to the look. She may or may not wear her sword, it depends.

Informal: sweatpants and a tshirt that says “I like older women”

Outerwear: Scar wears jackets as outerwear. Her old BSAA jacket, a motorcycle jacket, or a black drug dealer looking winter trench coat.

Footwear: either boots 🥾 or flip flops with socks

Road: she doesn’t really travel per say, but when she rides her motorcycle she’ll wear a motorcycle jacket and trousers with boots

Armor: Well, she is a solider so she does have some armor. Scar has her old BSAA armor: cargo camouflage pants, a camoflauge long sleeve tshirt, black knee and elbow pads, and a forest green bullet proof vest with a ghost spray painted on the front and back depicting the Ghost Squad insignia. The bullet proof vest was damaged in battle from an explosion and is no longer able to be used. She’ll get another in the sequel as a gift

Arms: obviously her sword, it’s a cutlass blade basically a pirate’s sword…. Yeah, she could use a new one. She also has a 9mm pistol, a semi revolver that prefers over the 9mm, and an M-16 semi automatic rifle. She’ll allowed to use whatever weapons alcina has in the armory but within reason, of course.

Roots: Scar’s body style is inspired by she-hulk, she’s not like legit a monster but she’s extremely fit and muscular, and is very tall. I originally saw her wearing pirate like clothes, baggy trousers and cuffed long sleeves with those Eren Jeager strings around the chest, but I’m probably going to end up changing that.

Texture: Scar will not wear skirts period. She absolutely refuses and she absolutely hates them! She doesn’t care if other people wear it, in fact she’s attracted to skirts, she just cannot see herself wearing them; although, she will wear a dress if the occasion calls for it. If she could she would wear sweatpants and a wife beater every day but Alcina would kill her. So instead, she wears like pants and a buttoned up shirt, she wears comfortable business casual like clothes, trousers with a shirt, suspenders, and boots, or a buttoned up shirt with pants, shit like that.

Wardrobe: Scar doesn’t know how to stitch or mend clothes, but luckily Alcina and the girls do. Alcina is filthy rich and can buy Scar whatever she wants, but Scar doesn’t like taking money if she feels she hasn’t worked for it, she’s very shy about receiving money even if Alcjna insists. As of right now she needs to go clothes shopping and get fitted for clothes that Alcina’s personal seamstress can make for her.

Bling: Scar always wears a necklace depicting a wolf howling at a moon. She’s had it ever since she arrived at the Village and doesn’t remember the meaning of it, yet it brings her comfort knowing that some part of her past self is always with her. Scar will often hold her necklace when she’s scared or stressed in an attempt to ground herself and remember how far she’s come. She never takes it off, not ever. She may or may not get an eyebrow piercing in the sequel, haven’t decided yet.

Hair: scar has long, wavy brown hair with natural golden highlights. A little bonus I’m adding is she shaves everything, pits, legs, thighs, cooch, everything. She likes her body feeling soft and smooth like silk.

Makeup: Scar doesn’t wear makeup she only wears it if she feels like it or if she’s wearing a dress. If she decides to wear makeup she’ll wear mascara, pencil eye liner with wings, a purplish red lipstick, foundation and contour sometimes, blush, and blue eyeshadow to compliment her blue eyes.

Favorite: She always wears her wolf’s necklace, a sentimental part of her past that always reminds her of how far she’s come. She loves her sword too and prefers mele over ranged or hand-to-hand combat. Her favorite article of clothing is a pair of Alcina’s things that she stole from her.

Change: she’s looked the same her whole life, never made a drastic change

Alternate: i call it the Alcinaverse: it’s literally every YN and Alcina pairing. Basically it’s the spider verse but with Alcina and YN.

Literally a second later: Let’s go wreck someone else’s house completely because we didn’t enjoy the party due to our own personal shortcomings, but ya know, who cares about that? We are clearly superior so let’s break someone else’s property.

I really don’t like how Zuko acts when he’s with them. Don’t get me wrong, he’s still very much responsible for his actions, but they clearly have a negative influence on him. The bond with them has always brought out Zuko’s egotistical, frustrated, insecure, and angry (which is really, hidden pain) sides. And at least Azula and Mai encourage very egotistical, selfish tendencies.

Don’t believe me? Then remember this scene in the same episode?

This is Mai trying -and epically failing- to understand Zuko’s complex emotions. She fails miserably because she has no emotional depth due to her spoiled upbringing. And she’s quite frankly quite self-centered and just a horrible human being if that’s how she thinks essential palace workers need to be treated. How is she Fire Lady material?!?!

Zuko: *clearly upset he wasn’t invited to the war meeting.*

Mai:  Zuko, it's just a dumb meeting. Who cares? (aka your feelings are not valid, stop crying).

Zuko:  I don't. (I do.)

Mai:  Well, good. You shouldn't. I mean, why would you even want to go? Just think about how things went the last meeting you went to. (great, Mai, let’s remind him of the most traumatic and painful moment of his life).

Zuko: [Sighs.] I know. (It still hurts me deeply and although it’s a reason, it does not excuse the fact that I’m being yet again deemed not worthy by my own father).

Mai: You know what will make you feel better? Ordering some servants around. I might be hungry for a whole tray of fruit tarts. And maybe a little palanquin ride around town. Double time. (IS THIS GIRL FOR REAL?! That’s how she gets her kicks, bullying and torturing the help around??)

(She turns Zuko's face to look at her, but he quickly looks away, making Mai let go of him.)

AKA, SHE DOES NOT UNDERSTAND ZUKO AND NEVER WILL!!!! There’s no EMOTIONAL connection between the two. Infatuation and teenage hormones are not love. So come at me all you want, to me Maiko has no emotional depth whatsoever and I know in order to rebuild the entire world, let alone to erradicate the fire nation’s superiority complex/racism against the rest of the nations, a Fire Lady like Mai wouldn’t be able to connect with people, let alone treat everyone with dignity.

For some context on the sketches of a guy with a beard and glasses with Max, I was playing with the idea of completely overhauling Jeb’s character and role in the kid’s life. Instead of being the mysterious and possibly nefarious father figure from the books, I went with a character that was morally crystal clear and just wanted more than anything to do the right thing. I feel realistically the only way Max and the others would ever be able to function after witnessing such visceral trauma so early in their life is if someone intervened and provided a support system for them, with the genuine intent of their well being; AKA just a really, really good dad. He’s also not biologically related to Max, but he IS biologically related to his son Ari, who feels like he abandoned him and his mother to go live it up with some freaks in the woods (oops! Can’t win em all ig 😬!) .

I also narrowed down the erasers to a just a small team, Ari being the leader and of a crew of three. I feel like having named characters to pit the flock up against, along with some random guns for hire, would make for interesting fight scenes and tension. My inspiration for this came from Azula’s squad in the second season of Avatar: the last air bender, where Azula, Ty Lee and Mai’s distinct fighting styles all make the fight scenes between them and the protagonists so crazy fun to watch. I guess would make Ari Azula lol 😂 honestly it fits. There’s the heavy hitter, which is the guy with the scar to the left, who is slow but packs a punch, and the twins with heterochromia, who are both speedy and can team up against an opponent. I was thinking of recycling the name Dylan for the big guy, because I don’t plan on introducing any more winged characters and even if I did the whole Dylan arc is waaayyy too complicated for what I was going for in this world of the story. I was also thinking of something that rhymes for the twins, like Hailey and Bailey, but that feels a little too Team Rocket haha idk

How big are the fireteams mentioned in S&A? AKA, how impressive should I be feeling Toph and Azula's skills are

A FN Fireteam is usually 4-5 soldiers (depends on certain things). A Fire squad is 2-3 Fireteams. So 5 fireteams is anywhere between 20-25 soldiers. And one fire squad is between 8-15 soldiers.

Basically, they've been horribly outnumbered. The fact that they keep winning is both terrifying and a good part of the reason Azula's bounty keeps increasing.

(This is an instance where teamwork makes them far greater than the sum of their parts, and those parts are already damn impressive. But they cover each other's weaknesses very well. It's the Defender-Controller/Striker (Tank/DPS) combo.)

Azula the good sister AU (AKA the Fire siblings have a healthy relationship AU)

I’ve just finished binge watching Avatar the Last Airbender and I already have an AU ready in my head. Please enjoy my ridiculous rambling!

Azula is still really tough and intense but she isn’t a fucking psychopath like in the series

She’s still a bending prodigy and “daddy’s favorite” but the latter isn’t something she wanted or strived for

She shows affection by teasing people, but she is also fiercely loyal and protective over the people she cares about. Like she’s nice but she’ll still cut a bitch if they hurt her friends and brother.

As most siblings do Azula and Zuko like to playfully argue and insult each other:

Zuko: *having just woken up*

Azula: wow you look like shit

Zuko: big talk coming from a midget with rat nest hair

Azula: at least I only look like this in the morning, you willingly keep that rat tail on top of your head. No wonder you have no friends!

Zuko: oh yeah what’s your excuse then?

They’re the type of siblings that in a modern-day setting would send each other a picture of a toaster saying “I found you a new bath bomb”

She absolutely adores her older brother and Zuko took his role as older sibling in stride even if Azula could practically take care of herself

They’re great training partners

Their favorite memory as children was feeding turtle ducks with their mother, they still do so even now after she’s gone

When she overheard her grandfather ordering her father to kill Zuko she left to tell her mother immediately afterwards she snuck into Zuko’s room to cuddle with him in bed claiming that she’d had a nightmare.

Their mother came in to kiss them goodbye goodnight before disappearing into the night. Zuko had been half asleep so he had no idea what was going on but Azula did and she knew what her mother was about to do. She didn’t know what the outcome would be but she knew that it would be the last time she’d ever see her mother.

Azula never told Zuko what happened only that it was all their father’s fault

It was then they began mutually hating on their father

Of course, they had no choice but to respect him as he was still the Fire Lord and could possibly kill them. But as soon as he was out of ear shot the siblings were like:

Azula: Why the fuck did he think growing out his beard was a good idea???

Zuko: He looks like a goat-pig

Uncle Iroh treats them both as his own children and helps them perfect their fire bending as well as teach them the art of tea brewing. Zuko still thinks it’s stupid but Azula becomes just as much of a tea fanatic as her uncle

Azula has had a giant crush on Ty Lee ever since they were children and everyone, but Ty Lee knows about it. On the flip side Ty Lee also has a giant crush on Azula ever since childhood and everyone but Azula knows about it.

Azula: That's a sharp outfit, Ty Lee. Careful. You could puncture the hull of an empire-class Fire Nation battleship, leaving thousands to drown at sea, because it's so sharp.

Ty Le: *confused but happy that her crush complemented her* Gee thanks Zula.

Azula: *later, screaming into her pillow* I’m such an idiot!

Zuko: *sitting beside her, sipping tea* Yeah, you really are.

The day Zuko was challenged to Agni Kai Azula told him that he was an idiot and that he better kick that loser general’s ass or it would be an embarrassment to both their training. It was her own way of telling him to be careful and that she was rooting for him.

When she found out that it was her father challenging Zuko to Agni Kai she had to be held back by Iroh to keep her from jumping into the arena to help her brother

Azula was determined to join her brother in his banishment but Zuko wouldn’t allow her, saying how it was his fault for speaking out of term and that his sister shouldn’t have to suffer from his mistakes.

They had a big fight after that because the siblings were nothing if not hotheaded and stubborn. Zuko didn’t want his sister to leave all she knew behind just because of him and Azula didn’t want to be stuck doing nothing while her brother suffers alone.

They parted there days later, regretful, angry, and sad. They didn’t necessarily apologies (let’s be honest what kind of siblings apologies to each other) but they did start writing letters to each other, which was their way of saying that they were cool now.

Zuko wrote to her about his journey to find the Avatar as well as Uncle Iroh’s ridiculous jokes and tea ramblings while Azula wrote to him about how things are back home as well as potential places where the Avatar could be located.

Both aren’t sure if the Avatar even exists anymore, but they keep hoping as it means that they will one day be reunited with each other.

The day Zuko found the Avatar he entrusted only his sister with the information as he knew that once word got out that the Avatar was still alive it would be an all-out man hunt.

Everything works out relatively the same as in the series except with Azula helping out her brother in the background. She’d secretly send her brother information about general Zhao’s whereabouts so as to avoid him as well as any resources he needed for his journey.

When Ozai ordered Azula to go retrieve her brother and uncle she was both delighted and terrified; she was happy to see her brother again, but she didn’t want to take him as her prisoner. So of course, she came up with a plan.

The first thing Azula said to her brother after two and a half years apart was: “Wow, you look like shit.”

He replied without missing a beat: “Big talk coming from a midget with rat nest hair.”

They hug for the longest time and in that moment, she quietly resights her plan to him: They had to pretend to escape from her and go into hiding. She’ll pretend to hunt him down and he’ll somehow manage to escape from her clutches every time. All the while they’ll work together in trying to capture the Avatar.

She enlists the help of Mai and Ty Lee telling them the minimal amount of information just in case things go south they can plead manipulation. Of course, Mai and Ty Lee are ready to go down with their captain/friend no matter what, but they don’t mind being out of the loop for the time being. They trust Azula and know that everything she does is to help her brother and uncle.

The events leading up to the battle of Ba Sing Se are pretty similar up until the part where Zuko makes a choice between helping the Avatar or his kingdom. He’s realized the pain and terror his ancestors have installed in the world; tearing away hope for a better future.

Just as Azula was about to strike Aang with a finishing blow Zuko stops her, telling her what they’ve been doing is wrong and if they want the world to prosper, they need to help the Avatar.

Azula was a bit annoyed seeing as she went through the trouble of sneaking into Ba Sing Se and taking over the earth kingdom from the inside out. But then again, her brother was right as she already knew of her father’s end game plan.

Azula: Zuzu, I love you, but couldn’t you have told me we were going to rebel against father sooner so I could have planned accordingly.

Just as there are loyalist to the Fire Lord there are also loyalist to the Princess as they see her as a more fit leader than the current ruler. And thus, that is how team Avatar was able to get a good portion of the fire nation army on their side.

Ba Sing Se has now been established as their main base with the entire city now having chosen the side of the Avatar.

At this point Azula still had Suki and the Kyoshi warriors held prisoner close by so she was able to bring them back without much fuss.

Azula: Er, sorry for imprisoning you and stuff. I just needed to save my stupid brother but we’re on your side now. Cool?

Suki: Only if I get to punch you in the face as hard as I can.

Azula: That seems fair.

Katara does NOT trust Azula and Zuko which is fine because Azula doesn’t trust her either but she knows they need to work together if they want to even have a slim chance of beating her father.

Katara: You might have everyone else here buying your ‘transformation,’ but you and I both know you’ve struggled with doing the right thing in the past. So, let me tell you something right now. You make one step backward, one slipup, give me one reason to think you might hurt Aang, and you won’t have to worry about your destiny anymore. Because I’ll make sure your destiny ends right then and there. Permanently!

Azula: Right back attcha bitch!

Toph and Azula get along swimmingly which both amuses and terrifies Zuko because one: he’s glad that his sister is finally making somewhat normal friends but two: those two together is just chaos incarnate

Ty Lee also really bonds with the Kyoshi warriors who teach her some of their fighting techniques in exchanged for her teaching them some chi blocking moves.

Suki and Mai start getting cozy with each other with Suki liking Mai’s skills and straightforward attitude and Mai admiring Suki’s confidence and bravery. It’s easy to talk with each other.

Sokka, at one point: Why the hell don’t we just send the girls out to defeat the Fire Nation? We’re all completely useless compared to them.

Also after a few month working together Zuko can now join his sister in her gay screaming

Azula: Did you seriously fall for that Water Tribe boy?

Zuko: You’re one to talk!

Azula: Hey! Ty Lee is an angel and we’re all lucky to have her!

Zuko: She once ate a whole bowl of fire flakes by herself and had to get her stomach pumped.

Azula: Look, what Fire Nation teen hasn’t done that at least once

Zuko: She did it THREE times!

Once the siblings and Co finally bond well enough with team Avatar tension lessens and their attitude go from: “uhg, I guess we have to work together or whatever” to “you are my friend now and I would die for you! I would literally commit murder if you asked me to, no questions asked”

Aang is baby and the Fire squad has now joined in the “Aang protection army” and in a similar fashion team Avatar have also learned that Ty Lee is baby and have now joined the “Ty Lee protection squad”. Even though Aang and Ty Lee are perfectly capable of taking care of themselves one cannot help but want to protect and care for the literal ray of sun shines.

Zuko and Sokka still have their epic rescue adventure to the boiling rock, with the extra help of their team. They sneak into the facility with disguises, Azula and her crew walk in like they own the place (news of her betrayal to the Fire Lord has yet to reach certain places), while the rest of team Avatar keep watch from afar just in case things start going south.

You know that scene where Zuko gets put in the freezer and when Sokka goes to let him out Zuko breathes out a breath of fire with a smirk? It was then and there that Sokka realized that his teeny tiny crush on Zuko might actually be a giant massive crush.

In this AU it is actually Azula that helps Katara track down the man that killed her mother because let’s face it, no matter what universe she’s in Azula will always be down to beat a bitch is ass.

This is the first time Azula has ever witness somebody blood bending and unlike most people that would usually freak out she was actually really impress and kind of turned on.

Azula: You know if I weren’t already madly in love with Ty Lee, I’d ask you to marry me in a heartbeat.

Katara: And I would accept that offer if only for the pleasure of rubbing it in your dad’s face

Azula: Why didn’t we become friends sooner?!?!

It is then the Little Sister alliance was formed in which they teamed up to poke fun at their bumbling brothers who keep awkwardly dancing around each other.

Their friendship can be summed up to: “I will kill you where you stand but also I respect you”

Okay, Imma just say this right now: Sokka is a fucking badass and even after getting taught how to fight by the Kyoshi warriors and the Fire sibling + Co. he reached a whole new level of badassery once he learned the ways of the sword by Master Piandao. Zuko’s little gay heart could only take so much and Sokka being all cool and collected while wielding a sword made the former Fire Prince short-circuit.

Zuko, in his tent, face down screaming into his pillow: Uhg, I can’t with this boy anymore!

Suki, rolling her eyes at her best friend’s melodramatics: Pull yourself together man.

Ty Lee, patting his head reassuringly: Don’t worry, you’ll get through this.

Azula, sipping tea beside him: This wouldn’t be happening if you just asked him out already.

Zuko: Don’t you fucking start with me hypocritical bitch!

Azula: *nervous gay drinking*

The day of the final battle Azula and Katara lead Hakoda’s army plus the Kyoshi Warriors to reclaim the fire nation capital while Aang, Zuko, Sokka, and Toph chased after the Fire Lord and his war ships.

The battle to take back the capital was brutal as there was still an entire army keeping guard with one of the Fire Lord’s generals acting as temporary leader. Unfortunately for them Azula still had a reputation of fear amongst the Fire Nation army and a lot of soldiers surrendered once they realized it was her leading the invasion and not the Avatar. Those that didn’t surrendered were defeated in battle because let’s be honest with a team this fierce there is no way in hell they couldn’t not win.

There’s also a scene where Azula is fighting off the general and a bunch of soldiers and it seems like she’s not gunna make it but she does, bloody and bruised but victorious. I imagen in that moment Ty Lee goes running up to Azula, jumps into her arms, and kisses her right then and there, while they’re still in the middle of battle. It’s super cool and romantic and it seemed to give Azula more energy than Sozin’s comet ever could as she seemed now ready to defeat god.

Azula: Y’all bitches be fucked now! I ain’t afraid to die but now that I gotta girlfriend I’m not going nowhere fuckers!

With Aang and his team it goes about the same as it did in the show; take down the ships, battle the Fire Lord, almost die, etc. That scene where Sokka thinks that Suki died on the aircraft is now replaced with Zuko almost dying then coming back to save their asses at the late minute. They too also kiss once they see that the other is unharmed while Toph rolls her eyes and gags at the sight.

Again, Aang does not kill the Fire Lord and instead takes away his fire bending powers before locking him in prison to rot. The fire siblings come by sometimes to annoy the shit out of him by flicking fire flakes at his head for target practice or psychologically torture him with excruciating detail of how they’ve been thoroughly fucked by their significate others in is bed and on his thrown.

Zuko: How’s it feel knowing that not only are both your kids gay but they’re also bottoms?

Ozai: *screams*

Azula: Ty Lee also fucked me atop your war room table :)

Ozai: *screams intensify*

In the end Zuko really doesn’t want to be Fire Lord so he happily passes that torch on to Azula who only agrees to take the job so long as Zuko becomes her second in command. Everyone is happy and with a lot of hard work throughout the years there is finally peace amongst the four nations.

My official Take on Azula AKA Storm Witch is that she DOES get exposed to the same machine as Zuko, except by the time she does it it's been perfected, leaving her unscarred and with much more stable powers. Hers manifest themselves as lightning rather than fire, and since she doesn't have to worry about hurting herself, she gets more training with hers than Zuko does with his, so she could beat him easily if they ever went head to head (I think the only one of the Gaang who could beat her is Katara)

Ty Lee is functionally THE ELASTIC WAISTBAND, a super stretchy acrobat, one of the mutants Ozai experimented on. She was given to him by her parents because she has such a big family that they couldn't afford to feed everyone, so they take the BIG payment Ozai is offering and give up their daughter. By sheer merit of being (on the surface at least) eternally friendly and optimistic, she eventually gets on Azula's good side, being treated better than most in the facility

Mai is the daughter of one of Ozai's business partners, and as such has known Azula her whole life. What no one knows however, is that Mai is a mutant. Her power is a control of magnetism, but she uses it so subtly that everyone just thinks she's really good at throwing knives (think Pyrrha Nikos but more of a bummer). She eventually joins Azula's squad out of sheer boredom tbh

Iroh bites down on a smile. Zuko looks the same, even now, a decade later with a scar blossomed over one side of his face, green and brown robes replacing the solitary reds of his childhood. His hair is puffed up around his face. He looks like a very frightened, very windswept turtle-dove. Zuko dives behind Iroh just as Aang breezes to a stop in the doorway. Five times Zuko hid behind Iroh, plus one time Zuko stood proudly in front of him.

boku no hero academia 

the stars are floating and we are flying by lunalou  Aizawa starts walking towards the exit, obviously expecting Shouto to follow him, but Shouto's feet are frozen in place. His eyes flicker from the distorted reflection of himself in the ice to where All Might is giving him a long look, eyes kinder than anything Todoroki has ever been deserving of, and he feels sick.  “Todoroki-kun,” Midoriya says gently, squeezing his arm in what Shouto presumes is meant to be a reassuring gesture. “It’s going to be okay.” He doesn’t think Midoriya is in any place to tell him what okay is, all things considered, but he chooses to keep quiet on the matter. 

♡ I’ll share this with you, so leave it behind by yabakuboi  For the sake of the story, All Might is never in need of a successor, and, when Izuku saves Katsuki from the sludge monster, encourages young Midoriya down a different path. Thus, Katsuki and Izuku part ways after junior high, as Katsuki enters U.A. and the Midoriyas move overseas. It’s later that Katsuki realizes that there’s something missing, that he drove that something away. Years after, Katsuki finds him in the last place he looks, in the cereal aisle at the local grocery store of their childhood neighborhood. 

Loose lips Sail ships by Yousayhun  Bakugou is at war with his own fucking mouth and everyone else just seems to be having the time of their lives.

(m) The Devil Blues by iknewaman  The 78th precinct's police captain, Toshinori Yagi, has volunteerd his squad to help implement the mayor's wish of increasing the successful cooperation between the city police and active Pro-Heroes. Each detective is to be assigned a Pro-Hero who will shadow them for two weeks, and the operation has been dubbed the 'Station Cooperation Operation'. Although it is not well-received by those involved, Izuku Midoriya, current detective at the 78th precinct and loyal follower of captain Toshinori's ideals, believes that the operation will be a success. If his captain says it will succeed, there isn't a doubt in Izuku's mind that it will. That is until he meets his assigned Pro-Hero.

But instead of sleeping, he’s hunched over his laptop at 2 in the morning writing a dissertation about why exactly Ground Zero’s pecs are the best pecs to ever pec, and how dare anyone insinuate that he should lose some of that muscle because don’t you even understand what kind of physique a quirk like that requires? Amateurs.  (Izuku has two jobs in this world: pro-hero and anonymous president of the Ground Zero fan club. What could possibly go wrong?)

Yk, I didn't expect the ask will go this way (this has been in my mind for awhile), but regarding Spooky vs BL Spear I think, theoretically and ironically, that Seethus wil be "invisible" to the BL Spear. The Spear has no eyes, but has a radar of sorts to detect life signals (creepy). So ironically while it's radar is much stronger than Azula's since it's not limited to only fire signals, it will have a trouble detecting Seethus' life energy because, as Iroh described the Spear, "it pursues all what is living and make it rot" and Seethus, to quote Azula now, is already a rotten bastard with a dead like fire (aka decay of fire) and Ozai described him in his first appearance as a dead like man.

So Seethus' life signal would be very weak (for the lack of better words) and I imagine the Spear has never once encountered something like him before. The Spear might slaughter an entire squad but would leave Seethus behind since it can't sense his life energy.

On the other hand unless the Spear was really thirsty and there was no stronger life signals around to distract it from detecting Seethus' weaker one. The Spear might be able to finally discover Seethus' signal in that case but I think cannibalizing him could be poisonous (since the opposite chi of decay might weaken or destroy the Spear from inside out).

Is there anyone Gladiator Sokka can't beat mono e mono now? This question is iffy as there's fights in and out of an arena setting. I think some benders outside of an arena battle would give him more trouble but he'd also have more creative freedom, however arena matches do stop strong benders from going all out. I think Sokka loses to Ozai in both but only coz Ozai can fly and bombard him. Non-arena Toph probably could. Also Aang. Azula obviously. IDK who else, boomerang boy's gotten strong.

... Honestly? There was always a very not-subtle plot thread throughout Gladiator about Sokka's growth as a warrior.

Said thread was basically about making him the strongest MF in the history of the Avatarverse x'DDDDDDDDDDDDD

I won't pretend he cannot ever be defeated by anyone at all under any circumstances... but a lot of the process he's been through as a warrior and fighter across 200+ chapters was for the sake of ensuring that, once Part 3 came along, he'd be a badass of the sorts to make even the strongest benders tremble in his wake.

So a more thorough answer to your question might just be... yes, there's a few people who could presumably defeat him in some very specific circumstances?

But... all in all? My instinctive, impulsive answer at the moment is actually "no".

Avatar s3e5 : The breakfast club episode Aka let's go to the beach beach. Sparky Sparky boom man is really scary for a guy with well groomed facial hair. The fire squad all spend time venting emotionally, then wreck a bratty teenager's home.

Avatar s3e6:  Aang and Zuko learn that Firelord Sozin and Avatar Roku were best friends before Sozin started the war. Roku fought a volcano. Fang was a good dragon to the end. How did Iroh get Sozin's head ornament? How did he get a note to Zuko's door from prison?  

Avatar s3e7: Mudfights and moral ambiguity. Toph scams a bunch of street hustlers and rich people, which I have no problem with. Katara is a mom and everyone forgets that Toph is blind. Sokka buys a bird he doesn't know how to use.

Avatar s3e8:  Sokka smells too many horror tropes to feel comfortable. Katara is wack for not wanting to learn blood bending. Appa shares a cabbage with momo.  

Avatar s3e9: Aang has anime hair in his nightmares. Aang punches tree and trains relentlessly. Zuko deals with being a prince and his evil papa, while Aang hallucinates Ronin Momo Samurai Appa. Aang unravels from lack of sleep so the gang makes a bed after shearing sheep.

Avatar s3e10:  the hippo and the boulder turned face. Appa has installed bison armor DLC. Katara wants that Aang Wang. Zuko prepares to grow up.

Avatar s3e11: Some random fire nation noble is a fucking 6ix9ine level snitch. Zuko is ready to get oedipal in this motherfucker (Unintentional but also unapologetic). I know it's a nickelodeon show, but Sokka should   have decapitated Azula. Iroh on some michael scofield shit.

Avatar s3e12: the western air temple is beautiful. Zuko's Iroh impression is on point and also has a point. Toph is right about everyone letting their emotions cloud their judgment. Zuko accidentally burns Toph because he is bad at being good. Sokka's trusty boomerang saves the day (sparky sparky boom man? More like sparky sparky bye man!).

Avatar S3e13:Transformative Zuko buddy journey number 1. Sifu Hotman finds peace and loses firebending ability. Sokka is my kind of jerk this whole episode. This series no black people, but does have Aztecs.

Avatar s3e14: Transformative Zuko buddy journey number 2: escape from alcatraz. Zuko admits he is never happy. "My first girlfriend turned into the moon"  "that's rough buddy". Sokka tries to kiss Suki while in full guard armor cause he is dumb.

Avatar s3e15: Transformative Zuko buddy journey number 2 part 2: Boiling Water Boogaloo's Lament HD remix. Sokka has not learned his lesson about approaching people he knows while in full guard armor. Azula's best friends betray her because she is a monster. Suki is on some wild shinobi shit. Toph was hoping Sokka brought meat.

Avatar s3e16: Azula's descent into madness begins (you can tell by the way her hair starts flowing). Suki and Sokka were boutta smang and Zuko cocka-blocks. Tragic back story #14? Transformative Zuko buddy journey number 3: Vengeance. Where does everyone get these fire all black stealth outfits?

Avatar s3e17: best filler episode ever. Aang and Toph have a Rocky Relationship. Sokka is always hungry

Avatar s3e18: Appa wants to be part of group hugs. Toph is melon lord and wants her own life changing journey with Zuko. Ozai is a dramatic bitch. June is back and the best chaotic neutral in the whole series.

Avatar s3e19: Snuffly wuffly. Order of the white lotus is so legit. Bumi took his city back by himself during the eclipse. Aang basically plays spirit telephone with his past lives. Lion turtle !

Avatar s3e20 p1 : I like the the thing where people get random animals to ride with no explanation.  Azula breaks and starts banishing people because she has no friends( the pressure of being Firelord is too much). Toph is the best tony stark.

Avatar s3e20 p2: Sokka is the best wild card. Avatar and Ozai fight like super saiyans. Zuko and Azula have one of the most beautiful fight scenes ever animated.  

Avatar s3e21: Toph and Sokka almost die but are saved by suki (RIP boomerang and space sword). Aang goes into the avatar state and grabs the fire lord by the beard. Look, we all love Iroh,  but whole Bumi takes out like 6 tanks by himself and jeong jeong is Visibly in the background making giant fuckoff walls of fire, Iroh is symbolically burning away a single fire nation flag. Loserlord Ozai.  

So. I have started summarizing episodes of avatar as I rewatch them.

Avatar s2e7: zuko on some "come back Shane" western wandering stranger shit. Azula was always evil and someone should have poisoned her fire flakes.

Avatar s2e8:  further proof that Iroh is the best father figure ever. Ty Lee want that Sokka Cocka

Avatar s2e9:  Aang is a soft hippy wimp while Sokka talks to fufu cuddly poops (Sokka acknowledges that meat and sarcasm are his whole identity) . Iroh wisdom and Zuko angst gets turned up to 11.

Avatar s2e10: Toph makes 2 of the best blind jokes in the series. Sokka thinks he can outsmart an all knowing spirit being .

Avatar s2e11: FRIENDLY MUSHROOM mushy GIANT  FRIEND and Aang changes his name to Aangst. Iroh and zuko score pots through pai sho.

Avatar s2e12:  Hi I'm jet and I always find a piece of wheat grass to put in my mouth regardless of location. Sokka doesn't want to lose another girlfriend after his last one turned into the moon. Cue Toph and suki slashfic

Avatar s2e13: Uncle Iroh got game, but stupid heats up tea with fire ending. Toph blind joke number 5, Ty Lee still wants Sokka to rocka her world (Sokka isn't NOT down, proving that p*ssy is power).

Avatar s2e14: the manchurian candidate episode.  Jet mourns the loss of his blade of wheat grass as he exclaims that those tea makers made tea hot.

Avatar s2e15: one of the best episodes in the series. Sokka has haiku BARS. Zuko gets a date with a girl who is super smooth. Iroh makes everyone who isn't a monster cry.

Avatar s2e16: Appa is an adorable giant fluffy baby and everyone should love him.

Avatar s2e17:  Toph blind joke number 7. Lake laogai is my safeword. Zuko face turn number 2.

Avatar s2e18:  Team avatar basically blitzes through all the royal guards, the earth king rides appa. Zuko's cognitive dissonance makes him sick. Sokka thinks long feng is long gone.

Avatar s2e19:  Onion and banana juice. Zuko smiles. Azula is still evil and conniving  AF.

Avatar s2e20:  Yeah daddy, let me heal your big bad scar with this magic liquid. Zuko heel turn number 2. Bosco good bear. PikAzula, Thunderbolt!

Avatar s3e1:  someone could have at least given Aang a fade.  Katara has issues with her dad leaving for the war, because she needed more reasons to cry this episode. Zuko knows Azula is up to something.

Avatar s3e2: The episode where Aang basically becomes Kevin bacon in footloose.  Flamey-o hotman! Zuko hurts Iroh's heart.

Avatar s3e3:  Katara is justice, Katara is the night.

Avatar s3e4: the gang doesn't know how to be funny or pass the time while Sokka becomes a padawan. Iroh is playing 3 dimensional mental chess.
