Running some AK numbers and Chiave+Robots is actually amazingly well done rotation wise, especially with his module. 80% reduction brings robots down from 200s->40s, with their strong deployment effects... i read once that slotting Chiave+Robots is essentially giving him more skills and that's never been more true

Thermal: 40s/3s deploy/8s debuff

Chiave: 45s Blazing Wire Stripper

The biggest issue is that Friston, Justice, and Castle will desync if you let them play out their whole duration, and Thermal needs to be Potential 2/3 for his Fragile to make up for not sticking around to buff Chiave (18/21% fragile vs 15/18% robot out).

Basically, ideal rotation seems to be to dump all robots when BWS is at 40s charge, let 'er rip, and retreat them all immediately after the explosion.

But also Friston has pretty bad uptime and tbh numbers as a skill, Castle and Justice are fairly average... Lancet and Thermal are burst skills.

Chiave S1 has 38/35s rotation and is automatic... but the robots are cheap enough that you don't actually need this dp infusion before you deploy them and especially not on a second round...

Huh. I hadn't quite realized, but it seems odd that Arknights has quite a few sapphic pairs, both explicit and implied, but the only plausible m/m couple were a. Kind of nebulous, they could easily be argued to have a sibling relationship (grew up together as small children) and b. Are villians who were responsible for the death and unimaginable suffering of hundreds. Mephisto ain't exactly a relatable character.

It's a little frustrating, actually

It's true. Like most gacha games, Arknight's girls outnumber the boys by quite a lot, but how Arknights uses them also does them no favors. Guys who have established relationships with other men (Thorns and Elysium, Chiave's gang of criminal dudes, Leonhardt and Ayerscape, Hellagur and his former partner whose daughter was eventually adopted by Hellagur, Spot and Midnight, etc) often get much less screentime or info devoted to exploring these relationships, while others were specifically made to be husbandos for the player (such as Silverash and Corroserum).

If you come from other gacha games (like say... FGO), it's easy to think Doctor is considered by the devs to be male by default and thus any male characters that show attraction for them must be at least kinda gay, but AK really goes out of its way to keep Doctor as vague as possible to allow any player to project themselves onto Doctor.

Some of you could certainly say that Silverash is gay because you are a guy and Silverash is trying so hard to get in your pants, but it won't be explicitly so in the canon.

Of course, things could always change in the future if they gave the guys some more screentime.

I was going to say Siracusa, but there are people in the faction that I don’t really like. So I’m gonna say both Chiave Gang and Pinus Sylvestris

I love how chaotic both groups are, and the knights of Pinus Sylvestris are such interesting chars (Fartooth please come home, you’re the only one missing)

22. Favorite event so far

Man, this one is a hard question, because I tend to gravitate towards events that most people hated

I really like the way Wolumonde was told, even with some tone problems the EN translation had. Darknights Memoir was an event that I devoured and I love the trio in action too (Playable Ines when?)

I also enjoyed A Walk in the Dust, I actually don’t find Kal’tsit talking to be that hard to understand and English is not even my first language.

Maria Nearl was an event that was the breakthrough on my account. Also, Maria is sunshine and should be more apreciated!

But the event that made me laugh a lot was Dossoles. There’s something really amazing with the idea of having that way too serious Ch’en being the bottom of a joke, bonus points is that Yuhsia makes fun of her pretty much the whole event

Now if we talk about events that are not on EN yet... I’m looking forward to both Lingering Echoes and a future Siracusa event. In this point I’m the fence about Stultifera Navis because AUS and Gladiia in the same event is bound to test my patience...
