But ig I can explain the rest of story idea:

Basically Kaito is avoiding his old friends cause he promised Kei’s mom to do better in order to keep hanging out with Kei. She already scolded him for skipping school to be at their house and she almost scolded him for being at their house all the time but Kai explains that his mom doesn’t even realize he’s gone half the time. So she starts encouraging him to do better and hopes it will also motivate Kei.

Kaito also wants to do better so he can become a certified caregiver for Kei that way he can have an excuse to be with him all the time.

Kei agrees to join the program where he meets Kou and Sato and other would have been ajins. He and Kai start kinda dating in secret but they don’t want to admit it cause they realized 1. They don’t know how Kei’s mom would react and 2. Eriko started being more obvious that she likes Kaito and they want to avoid starting issues. They find out anyways tho..

While thinking of what to draw for today, I thought it would be Izumi or the Maryland Ajin gang but I ran out of time for the ideas for the latter. Sketching out ideas for the former, I just thought it was kind of interesting how her work uniform is just a coat placed over her school uniform, not even bothering to change. She’s tired but she’s singularly focused on her goal of leaving her mom’s place.

she had no reason to love the sandstorms but every reason to stay. she wonders why and tastes venom on her lips. [or: in which the niece of the sandaime kazekage creates a kazekage out of akasuna no sasori.]

randa’s name is written as 亂妥 which are the characters for war and peace because her parents believed her to be the peace after the war. but it’s also homonymous to 懶惰 which is lazy. i wanted to write an au for any kage and because i haven’t read a sunagakure-centric story that i genuinely liked, i wanted to make one. and i love sasori. so i wanted to make him kage, somehow... so this happened and stayed in the drafts.

once upon a time, iscah lloyd was not iscah lloyd. but now she is, with the cloud of an obscurus clouding her mind. 

lore and obscurials really fascinated me back then, and i wanted to write a character i could empathize to. like, a somewhat realistic one who grew up in a christian household, etc, etc, end up getting into a magical school but with actual loving and healthy parents. this happened :D

i love ajin. it’s literally one of my most favorite series / manga / anime of all time because first of all, i love the main character, and second of all, the whole ‘ajin’ thing is very fascinating. and i... i was in my lord of the rings phase.

❝  the misfortunes of anbu usagi, naruto ft. kirigakure

anbu usagi was many things and ‘impulsive idiot’ was one of them. (or: in the midst of saving nohara rin and attempting to subdue the sanbi, anbu usagi uses the shintenshin to enter a bijuu’s head. building kirigakure from the ground while inside the head of karatachi yagura is just excess baggage, really.)

anbu usagi’s been in my drafts for the longest time, to be honest. i loved her story and i love kirigakure, and i just wanted to write about it but never had the chance to publicize it. my favorite bijū is isobu and my favorite jinchūriki is yagura so there you have it. for soem reason, usagi really appealed to me :") this was nice.

Technically speaking, prolly Kagome from Inuyasha, but in fairness I was like 8 at the time and it was one of the few anime cartoons on early enough for me to watch.

Otherwise, prolly has to default to Riza Hawkeye from the first time I watched through Fullmetal Alchemist, since that was my gateway drug into anime.

Black Star from Soul Eater.

Gods, he’s such a good example on how NOT to writer a good character. He never learns, never changes, the one time it looks like he’ll have some character development, it’s ignored, and he never sees any consequences for it.

EXCALIBUR was less annoying than he was.

18. 10 worst anime you have watched

Uh…hmm.

Okay I’ll list some of the ones I’ve quit, then, in no particular order:

Burst Angel (sorry @charlezarrd, but it was too much of a mess)

Elfen Lied (the opening episode alone speaks for itself. No fucking thank you. Not touching that with a ten-foot pole.)

One Piece (fucking Luffy’s the most irritating character ever, he’s worse than Naruto in my eyes)

Bleach (I tried, y’all. I tried hard with this one, too, but Ichigo’s just too damn boring. He’s better in the live-action adaptation where he can actually emote)

The Seven Deadly Sins (if they’d made Meliodas less of a creep and Elizabeth more useful and less of a standard damsel I’d have moved this series, but no, Meliodas had to be That One Character and it ruined everything, every time.)

Hellsing (made the mistake of thinking it would actually be amusing like the Abridged version, but no, it’s just bloody and kinda not great in terms of writing)

Attack on Titan (this is gonna make people mad, but the twists were obvious, I called the Titans as weapons of war instead of natural disasters, and Eren as a character is boring as heck outside of his powers, and I just couldn’t keep running with nothing to keep me interested for the first season. Levi, Eren, and Mikasa’s characters are frankly all wasted on that series, IMHO)

Blood of Zeus (seriously, they did NOTHING INTERESTING WITH THIS SHOW and had Zeus BE THE SAME HORNY BASTARD HE ALWAYS IS and somehow STILL FOUND A WAY TO MAKE HERA THE BAD GUY like WHAT the FUCK even Elias Toufexis as the lone sensible villain couldn’t save this series!)

Fate/Extra: Lost Encore (this falls prey to being Fate fodder. Sure, Cassandra Lee Morris as Nero is great…but also NERO is supposed to be the good one somehow, which…like…okay now the Saber twist isn’t even a twist anymore, it’s just you turning famous figures into blonde anime girls because it worked that one time. Aside from that there’s also very little actual PLOT for me to grab onto, and like…c’mon. It’s like they barely tried.)

Also I revisited Deltora Quest at one point and��I have no idea what 6-year-old-me was thinking. It’s terrible. Like. REALLY bad.

20. least favorite anime ships

I tend not to bash people for their ships, really, but like…I dunno something really rubs me the wrong way about the few folks I saw shipping Mao and CC from Code Geass.

Oh, and anyone that pairs Gilgamesh and Saber from UBW. The two despise each other. They would not make for a good pairing. Either Gilgamesh would need to acknowledge Saber as his equal (which he won’t, he refuses to the point of death in the series), or Saber will have to willingly become his plaything (which we ALSO see her resist to almost the point of death in the series), so I don’t get why people think that makes textual sense?

But again, I try not to actively bash people for shipping stuff. AUs are always a thing, after all, so…yeah. Whatever man. As long as nobody is hurting anyone over it, you do you.

Let me check my files for what I wrote about it ... it looks like I got through the first five parts, and then bookmarked a pause around ... chapter three of part six. Since it’s still in progress I can’t provide what I’ve got written part six and upwards, but I can provide what I wrote about the first five parts:

The logic is well-reasoned but at times the emotionalimpact / shock is dulled by over-explanation, or by glossing over some of theemotional thought processes. It’s an interesting approach to the Izuku-Katsukirelationship dynamic, in which Izuku uses this newfound ‘quirk’ in experimentsto retain Katsuki’s attention in a desire for a friend, and Katsuki gives Izukuthe friendship to use for underlying desires to control what is around him, butsomething about it feels off. Perhaps it’s the emotional connection to thereader that is lacking due to a lacking a non-descriptive, more empathetic emotionalinvestigation? Either way, it is decently paced and plotted well enough. Wouldhave liked to see a better balance between Izuku feeling the pain /implications of his suicide attempts next to his reasoning of why it’snecessary to keep Katsuki around.

And while this logic can be filled in with gaps and presumptionsfrom readers, it is left too open-ended. It is nice to see, however, that the primary characters themselves are stilldistinguishable as their own selves. Izuku is allowing Katsuki’s dangerous inclinations to be directed at himbecause it means he is earning the attention of someone he subconsciouslyadmires and desires.

“Addendum: Immersed” and “Intermission: Cold One”[standing in awe of death – Part IV + V] by ramabear (rymagnatar)[Explicit] [CH 1 complete; CH 1 complete] [word count: 2,733; 1,831]

Features: [MxM] Katsuki xIzuku, quirk!Izuku, ajin!AU, suicide, unhealthy relationships, smutFeatured Characters:  Bakugou Katsuki, Midoriya Izuku, YagiToshinoriPlot Summary: Katsuki and Izukuadvance their relationship; plot advancement with OCsCriticism: Glossed over the smut (not my thing). It marks an advancing stepin the unhealthy relationship, but again, it’s lacking that emotional weightfrom the characters for the reader to connect to. At least the plot is still beingdriven outside of the two featured characters. Still, at this point there is an excellent grasp on written narrative and dialogue, but hopefully it strengthens its weak points plot-wise.

Ask me again in like, a month for a continued review of it: I’ll probably have gotten through a few more parts by then!

Ajin/BNHA crossover

29.07. Day 6: Death / favourite crossover (AU) / Rosemary��

Being quirkless was hard but it sure wasn’t as hard as it was to just accept the fact that Kei was never going to grow up to be the hero he always wanted to be. 

The ostracism, jeers, mocking and bullying he had lived with through his life in school had nothing against his own self-loathing. It didn’t matter how smart he was, how much he studied and studied; his top grades and a perfect record was insignificant. What mattered out in society was a quirk, and nothing would change that. Call him selfish, but honestly, he was happy he wasn't alone with that burden. The chances were unbelievably slim but the likelihood that his childhood friend didn’t develop a quirk either was amazing. Kai was the only friend he had left since his revelation of his own quirklessness and then Kai didn’t have any either. It was like fate. Or maybe his classmates were right and he really was contagious.

At least he didn't have to carry this burden of classlessness in society alone.

It was during the second year of middle school it happened. It was an accident, really; bullying gone wrong. A few pushes here and there, him talking back, Kai shouting in the background and suddenly the edge of the cliff wasn't even under his feet anymore and the wind was in his hair and his clothes and he was falling. Kei doesn't remember much but apparently he took quite a tumble, broke several bones and then bashed his head open on a rock.

Not the most graceful way to go but then again, he didn't go. No, he woke up again and he was alive, breathing, unharmed and confused. It was just the dirty, torn clothes on his body, gakuran wet with blood along with the stone behind him, and the horror-stricken faces of his peers and best friend looking down at him from where he’d fallen.

Kei looked down at his hands, feeling and appearing the way they've always done. His mind was running a million miles a minute trying to comprehend what just happened.

He had... survived? No, that was impossible, a fall like that along with the velocity of a hard rock to a direct hit to the side of his head would have definitely killed him. Or at least knocked him out. But here he was, sitting on the slanted forest ground, dirty but completely unhurt.

"Kei!" A terrified shout broke him out of his musings and he looked up to see the person in question trying to get down the slope as fast as he could without losing his footing. The bullies had run away.

When Kai finally managed to slide down to him panting, pale and afraid, Kei just looked into his golden yellow eyes, feeling happiness building up inside him.

"Kai,” he smiled. “I'm not quirkless."

The look he got back was one of devastation.

As a child of a logical mind, the experiments started quite quickly after that. He'd try out how exactly his apparent quirk worked along with different ways to die. Apparently, any wounds would not heal until his death and his body was restored to how it was beforehand. Any removed limbs would return to his body unless too far away and in such cases, a new one would grow out in its place. He still wasn't sure what exactly those black particles were.

These experiments were at first committed by himself or Kai would reluctantly follow along. His friend was less considerably enthusiastic than he was. He would keep trying to talk Kei out of it, tell him not to keep hurting himself.

"Kai, don't you understand? I have a quirk now, I finally am someone."

"But you always were! There is no need for you to kill yourself like this, you're still you." He looked at Kei with a pleading look, emotional pain visible in his face. "I am really happy you have a quirk, I really am! But I can't stand you doing this to yourself."

Kei paused. He could hear the plea in his voice, true enough that he felt a stab of sympathy in his heart.

Despite how other viewed him, Kei wasn't emotionless, or unempathetic. He just had a harder time showing it.

Or he'd bury it all down.

"If you don't want to be a part of this then leave." The coldness in his voice made Kai look stricken. "I'm going to figure out everything about my quirk and I'm going to use that information to my advantage. I'll get used to the pain, used to dying, and then I'll apply to U.A. and finally show everyone what I am capable of."

From then on, Kei ignored Kai, both in school and outside of it. At the reveal of Kei’s quirk, and how indifferent he seemed to the idea of killing himself, suddenly people paid attention to him and then Kei started having friends. He didn't care how real or fake they were, because they were other people than Kai and he was determined not to let him back in his life. It was possible that his reputation would go down again if they were seen together and he really couldn't afford that.

So he studied, trained and worked out, all in anticipation of the entrance exam of the biggest hero school in Japan.

He got in, and here he stood inside the gates of U.A. High, he kind of expected that. The discovery of a Black Ghost under his control had made the entrance exam much easier than it would have been otherwise. What he didn't expect, however, was the sight of Kai inside these gates as well, wearing the school’s uniform and standing by a tree, overlooking all the students moving towards the main building.

"Kai?" He felt the name slip out while he stopped and looked at his old friend in wonder. The boy in question simply moved his glance to Kei and a smile lit up his face.

"Kei," he simply said and Kei felt wordless.

"H- Why are you here? How did you get in?"

Kai cocked his head a bit as he thought over his answer.

"Well, I'm still as quirkless as before but I couldn't just let you run into danger headfirst and simply kill yourself over and over just because you could, right?" He smiled again. "I'm in the Support Department. I could build some stuff to help you out."

And Kei felt his breath leave his lungs because his friend was back, smiling like the sun and Kei felt guilty and happy and he totally didn't deserve this beautiful friend of his.

"..Alright."

After reviving he gets up to street level and theres plenty of people and students freaking out. And he's like "I don't want shit to do with cops or paramedics" so he staggers off and encounters Ryuji. He's like "shit man thats a lot of blood you okay?" and thats where to top pic comes in. And Ryuji understands so he helps Chair-kun to a bathroom to wash off and offers his gym clothes and theres a mutual understanding.(bottom pic) Arsene is his ghost but also a permanent persona, same for the others who are found to be Ajin.

Mob Psycho 100 AU

I LOVE TAKING TWO WILDLY CONFLICTING SHOWS AND MAKING AUS FOR THEM.

Soooo in case you don’t know what Ajin is, it’s a psychological horror manga/anime about immortal humans (called Ajin) who revive no matter how many times they’re killed and can summon “black ghosts” that are shaped according to the Ajin’s actions. The ghosts cannot be seen by humans unless the Ajin has strong emotions towards a targeted human, like bloodlust, fear, etc. Ajin don’t know they’re Ajin until they die once. Then they are hunted down by a special branch of the government for inhumane experiments and all that lovely bullshit. Also, Kou is my fave lmao the poor idiot doesn’t deserve the shit he’s forced to go through…let him rest gdi

So I’ve been thinking about this AU for awhile now and I’ve come up with some ideas (warning, it’s late and I have shaky-ass fingers so if anything is misspelled or grammatically incorrect, blame my fingers):

>Mob’s family doesn’t turn him in although he’s Ajin and they continue to shield him from suspicion and let him live normally 

>Mob found out he was an Ajin at a young age (he and Ritsu were messing around at the top of the basement stairs, Mob fell down backwards and died almost instantly) 

>Mob doesn’t use his ghost for much, just mundane tasks around the house (reaching high objects, cleaning his room, moving heavy objects, etc), and as such, it stays in a humanoid form. The claws act more like fingers than actual claws, but black ghosts always retain their claws so they’re there to stay. It also resembles ??? a little bit. 

>Mob’s ghost is ridiculously strong tho

 >When he hits 100%, he unleashes a Flood (dozens of ghosts being released at once) and they’re all incredibly powerful.

 >??? ends up appearing when he dies in a state of great emotional distress. It’s like Shinya Nakamura’s Flood but the whole thing is packed into one incredibly powerful, absolutely unstoppable ghost.

 >Mob ends up meeting Reigen after bumping into him on the street

 >Reigen is part of the anti-Ajin committee but he’s more like Ikuya Ogura. He doesn’t have anything against Ajin, he’s just fascinated by them and wants to learn more about them. He doesn’t agree with the experiments on Ajin, however, but he’s able to meet with Ajin easily and learn about them in noninvasive ways over a cup of coffee. He’s valuable to the committee because of this.

 >Reigen doesn’t ever go to the anti-Ajin HQ unless there’s a meeting. He hates seeing Ajin being experimented on, but the committee won’t stop it no matter how much he asks and offers peaceful solutions.

 >Reigen’s pretty much quit the anti-Ajin committee (his sole purpose for joining was to try changing their mindset on Ajin) and started up his own small business about investigating Ajin peacefully and trying to get their rights recognized. Since he’s an ex-member (and a good one at that), the committee’s unanimously agreed to leave him be. 

>Mob’s fascinated by Reigen’s little business that he goes (against Ritsu’s warnings) and ends up confiding in him. Reigen’s intrigued by this kid and ends up hiring him to help him find Ajin and help them with their problems(Mob can see black ghosts and Reigen can’t). 

>Reigen gets incredibly attached to this kid and after a few attempts, convinces Mob’s parents to trust him. Ritsu’s still suspicious of Reigen.

 >Frick, Dimple was hard to figure out

 >Dimple doesn’t actually go out and try killing people, but he’s trying to rule Japan. Like Satou but without all the “psycho murder MLG videogame man” stuff. 

>Nobody knows what he actually looks like, but he must be strong because he can keep his ghost out 24/7 

>Basically he lives his life through his ghost. He basically is his ghost. He speaks, travels, fights, and everything through his ghost.

>Toichirou is basically Satou but you know…not

 >Toichirou’s ghost resembles Satou’s, but it rivals Mob’s in terms of strength. 

>They capture young Ajin and brainwash them into hating humans and wanting to take over the country (and then the world) 

>The esper kids and the Awakening lab are Ajin who haven’t died yet (they have weak ghosts), and a facility made to protect them. 

>Now my boi Teru 

>Teru lives alone due to a conflict between his parents resulting in his dad wanting to turn him in for money and his mom wanting to protect him. He didn’t want to see his parents fighting because of him, so he decided to move out. Needless to say, learning that his father didn’t care about him if he wasn’t human fucked him up a bit. 

>He died for the first time at age twelve. He was washing dishes and slipped on some water while he was carrying knives to put them away. 

>He started using his ghost to make himself popular in school and to swiftly take down his opponents, so it developed with characteristics that made it more agile and fast. It has a light, thin body and wings rather than clawed hands. His ghost is sort of like Takeshi Kotobuki’s. 

>After befriending (and getting a crush on) Mob, he began to think carefully before using his ghost. Like Mob. He hates seeing when Mob dies and vice versa.

>Yay, my other boi Shou! 

>He’s been encouraged by his father to use his ghost violently so it developed for just that. It looks a lot like Tanaka’s ghost, with elongated claws, a mouth with jagged teeth, and a slender body for moving at high speed.

>When Shou faces Ritsu in the battle with the Scars, Ritsu’s ghost is absolutely rekt by Shou’s ghost. Shou hates killing, so he just knocks Ritsu out. 

>Shou ends up teaching Ritsu how to use his ghost later on

The AU only loosely follows the MP100 timeline after that, save for the major events (the battle with Toichirou, etc), and the Mogami arc is different. Idk, this was a really quickly-made AU and I fell in love with it but it’s definitely weird haha…I’m prob gonna draw more of this either way :3

Tanaka’s class is a special Ed class.

He is so stressed out though. The step brothers are always running, fighting, and destroying things n never listen. Okuyama ignores him and just plays games. Sato is either playing with Okuyama, play fighting with the brothers or making his own mischief.

Poor Tanaka wants to quit. But he is so passionate about being a teacher. He wants to ask for a trade in class. But he feels bad because no one likes his students so he stays, trying to be a better person for them.

Ogura’s class is always loud. He encourages his class to make counter arguments and come up with their own theories. They are always discussing books and things going on in the world. It’s a good class. His students are all very fond of him.

Ogura substitutes for Tosaki sometimes. He is immediately in love with Kei who starts a whole argument on his lesson. He can’t wait to have him in his class.

WEIRD TIME/ HIGH SCHOOL AU

I don’t really have a lot of ideas for this but imagine all of satou’s team is just younger (around the time tanaka discovers he’s an ajin but he doesn’t get caught)

tanaka’s the one who’s kinda dumb but tries his best to help if asked

takahashi and gen aren’t very school smart but somehow pass with B’s or C’s

okuyama definitely has A’s and B’s

I don’t know how old kou is but he’s either the same age as kai/ kei or he was held back a year/ took a year off so he’s in the same grade maybe

ALTERNATIVELY: satou’s group (except maybe okuyama i’m not sure) is in early ish college and kei/ kou/ kai are in late high school but maybe they knew each other

also, everyone is still an ajin

possibility: there’s an ajin research club at the highschool/ college and most of them aren’t ajin but a good chunk of them are

-Victor, a biology teacher, wants to write his thesis about Ajin, demihumans that nowadays have blended in society (they even have the government’s official support). His thesis’ aim is to understand more about Ajins, so he tried to interview them and see things by their point of view.

-Yuuri, a maths teacher, is an Ajin. He’s a succubus. (or incubus, yeah)-- who tries to blend to society. He doesn’t want to involuntary seduce people, so he wore a very dull tracksuit while teaching (zipped), didn’t style his hair, wore geeky glasses, live in a secluded countryside by himself, and avoids contact with everyone.

His dream is very simple: a loving relationship with a person who truly loves him. but he shoved that dream for a long time because he feels that any attraction towards him are from his seducing powers, and it feels... fake. 

-they taught at the same school.

-nikiforov-sensei wanted to interview katsuki-sensei (literally interview, no lewd things, oh god no)
