Our Love is Eternal
Next Chapter
Eternals MCU AU: Ikaris x Elemental!Reader
Author's Note: Hello! I am so sorry for being so MIA in my writing lately, I would like to put out on the record that I have not abandoned any of my works, I have just been really busy with finals. I still am, but I watched Eternals and just HAD to get this idea out. My other work "Like the Wave, She Broke; But Like the Sea, She Persevered" is in progress, and hopefully it will be out by the end of this coming week. I am also aware that Ikaris is a pretty unpopular character (with good reason), but I just love Richard Madden so dang much. Keep in mind that I am a VERY casual Marvel fan, I have only seen like 3 movies in total and watched Agent Carter, but that is it. Also, this is a very AU fic, and Ikaris and Sersei have never been together in this, but they are besties bc I thought that it would be cute.
This was actually written as a birthday present for my fellow Richard Madden girlie, @valeskafics! I am so sorry that it was so late, I really wanted to make sure that it was perfect, and please don't hate me for not running this by you to beta it, I really wanted it to be a surprise. I really wanted to show my love for you by bringing to life this work, as you were the first person to really encourage me to pursue writing in the first place, and you have my eternal gratitude for that. But I promise that with the surprise finally being out, I will let you beta the next chapter for both of my works.
Which brings me to give a shoutout to the ever so lovely & legendary @its-actually-minicika for being my beta for this chapter! She is so amazing to do this with how busy she is as a writer and med student, please go check out her fics, they are amazing!
Warnings: Mature language, Ikaris is probably very OOC, mentions of sexual content but not very explicit (but it will later, along with some violence), Reader is a menace, Druig is a menace, Reader & Druig are besties and menaces together, depression, DND lore & language is Aquan (translations will be at the bottom), Takes place during the Blip, also Reader is female & has dragon mom so...make do with what you will ig
BABYLON 525 BCE – Persian Gulf Shores
Blue on blue; white tips rising, crashing, then disappearing; one massive wave breaking apart into a dozen smaller others, until it became this tremendous and monstrous inorganic entity that only seemed alive. To him and the rest of his team, it was just a large mass of water molecules, all stacked on top of one another, until it amassed into this single cohesive body. But the humans they guarded and protected, it was alive, as alive as any other organism: human, animal, deviant, Eternal, you.
“Hey dumbass,” a truly obnoxiously vibrant voice called out that broke Ikaris’ stare to the ever-constant blue horizon in front of him, as a genuine and full smile broke his usual stoic visage. He turned to the direction of your continuing teasing taunts, “you realize that just because I bite, doesn’t mean the water will do the same, right?” You wrapped your arms around his shoulders while flashing him one of your signature smirks, your eyes briefly flickering a gleam of silver in accordance to your playful mood. You decided to let your (h/c) locks loose today, and in doing so, allowing the sun to dance upon their lustrous shine while framing your wonderous and elated features.
You had even decided to forego your everyday amour: a fitted dark cobalt blue dragon scale outer tunic that reached to your knees with elbow length sleeves, enchanted by your brother to be impenetrable to both mystical and physical attacks, covered in pearly ivory twining along with silver vibranium shoulder armor; a dark violet bodysuit with the same silver vibranium covering your wrists and knees; finally, boots of the same sealskin leather enchanted by your brother to allow to walk on water no matter what storm plagues the surface waters. But what caught Ikaris’ eye and brought him the most pleasure was the gold chained lapis lazuli pendent he gifted to you in celebration of banishing your father to a distant dimension, as well as the first time you told him you loved him.
“Oh, I wouldn’t be too sure about that.” Ikaris couldn’t help up but to take your bait while wrapping his muscular arms around your waist. The dark blue chiton perfectly draped your glorious figure felt heavenly under Ikaris’ calloused hands. He could have stayed in this position here until the rapture, and not regret a single moment passing. “After all, who are you but not the personification of the seas and oceans themselves? My lovely Y/N, daughter of Hydron and the Great Protector of Ta-Lo, Younger Sister of Malik the Unmoving and Mystic Arts Master Shen, Warrior Champion of the Deep, Wielder of the coveted Sea’s Fury…” Ikaris could go on and on, spouting out all the titles that you absolutely HATED whenever you heard them in passing from both surface- or ocean-dweller, but he needed to stop to snort at the pained grimace marring your beautiful face.
“Ok, ok, ok, stop, stop, STOP!” You shove your hand to his face in attempt to make him stop, but all that did was turn his snigger to laughter, making you laugh in turn. “A bagillion years will pass and we’ll grow roots and wrinkles and face the end of the WORLD before you finish saying all those damned titles!” You even make a pitiful attempt of removing yourself from his grasp, despite fully knowing he would rather be slowly quartered before letting you out of his sight. In response, Ikaris just held you tighter, letting you know that you weren’t going anywhere.
“You do know that the word ‘bagillion’ isn’t an actual number, right? Or even a real word for that matter?” Ikaris couldn’t help but point out your incorrect vocabulary, well aware of the fact that you fully intended him to point that out so that you could tease him back. You dramatically rolled your eyes at him, putting on the production of suffering from his words by letting out a long guttural groan as you fell backwards while still remaining in his arm-locked embrace.
“UGHHHHHH, do you really find it so NECESSARY to be an insufferable know-it-all?” You pulled yourself up to glare at his mirthful smirk and stormy eyes; your heart leapt in joy knowing that you were the reason for such sparse playfulness to be displayed. You continued to toy with your beloved as you pursed your lips into a pouting smirk along with furrowed eyebrows. “It’s a wonder at all why anyone would find you attractive enough to fuck you”
“Really?” Ikaris decided to go against his better judgement and continued to humor you with your little game, “So that must mean that the woman before me is either a creature with a magnanimously generous soul, or that she’s just incredibly desperate for a cock because she annoyed off any other suitor.” He unsuccessfully bit back a snigger behind his smug smile at the sight of your eyes widening and mouth dropping in aghast, clearly very proud of himself for rendering you adorably speechless.
“You brat!” You eventually shrieked out while pushing him to the water, the splash drowning out his laughter before you pounced on him and playfully pounded your fists to his chest. The water immediately soaking your dress as you exclaimed, “You will play for your treacherous words you bastard!” You barely finished your sentence before your enduring lover flipped the two of you over, and he trapped your wrists under his hands and your hips within his knees. You couldn’t help but gasp at the sight above you, the rising sun’s rays danced on his features, and his soaked suit clung to his sublime muscular frame even more than normal. You thanked every god you learned as a child, even your Ikaris’ revered Arishem, for granting you this sight. To be allowed to witness such otherworldly beauty; to trace his frame with your hands, lips, and tongue; to be given the chance in meeting an outwardly apathetic god, only to find the endlessly loyal man whose heart and soul were entrusted to you of all people. No jewel or power was worth more than that.
“And you will pay for your vulgarity,” Ikaris bent down and whispered to your ear, taking in immense pleasure at the shiver that trickled down your spine in hearing his husky and gruff tone. He pulled away before quickly placing his lips upon yours, drinking in the sounds of every whimper and moan that escaped your throat, taking in the taste of your lips into the depths of his mind, and feeling the softness of your lips that moved against his own. He wanted to make sure that every part of you would be forever etched into his memory. Because for all of Ikaris that you praised every power in knowing, Ikaris praised Arishem for all that in just witnessing the miracle that was you. To Ikaris, you were everything. You were more than the oceans you protected and loved, more than the lands you walked across to join him in battle, more than the very skies that Ikaris considered to be his second home his first true home being you. From the moment he met you, your presence plagued him, both body and soul. You had ruined him for the rest of his immortal life, and he couldn’t be more grateful. Because now he knew why his Celestial Creator placed him on Earth, it wasn’t so that he could protect the humans and eradicate the hideous Deviants that plagued this planet. It was so that he could witness true, absolute, unconditional beauty. He was created by Arishem to meet you.
Seconds turned to minutes, and minutes soon turned to hours, and before long the sun had long set, and stars littered across the sky with the moon’s illustrious sheen silhouetted the immortal lovers’ naked forms. Both of their clothes and amor long gone, either willed away by conscious thought or torn away by impatient hands. Hours of glorious love-making, a dance so wonderful and marvelous that it could only be done between that of twin flames could not resist the ever-turbulent demand of their bodies becoming one. An act so intimate, that it could only be done by that of a love that only the stars and planets within the heavens could bear to witness such ardent and true love, for such intense beauty in its rarity was not meant to be seen by mortal eyes. Even when night claimed the dessert, the blistering heat turned into a numbing chill, and human families retreated to their homes while animals began to prowl, the immortal couple remained in their hidden lagoon. You didn’t bother to change the temperature as your lover’s warm embrace deterred any cold attempting to reach you and him.
“Ikaris, can you promise me something?” Your voice soft and timid, completely opposite from your usual teasing and mirthful tone. Ikaris immediately looked at you in concern, worried that he had been too rough on you in his ardor. Relieved that you bore no marks indicating harm (besides the ones from his teeth), he gazed into your eyes, your dazzling (e/c) eyes, and replied.
“Anything my love,” he answered sincerely, “ask for anything and I will do anything in my power to grant it to you.”
“Promise me that this is forever,” you told him, “Promise me that whatever happens, our love will remain and that you will remember it.” You stared at him with a gaze so full of love and desperation that it both filled Ikaris with so much love and shocked him to his core. “Even if we are apart, and if you find someone else, you remember our love so that it would remain true. Promise me this, and I swear that I will promise the same” With you still in his arms, he sat up and positioned you so that you would sit on his lap while cradling your face in his hands.
“My darling, what brought this on?” He asked, “Why of all things, do you fear that our love would not remain true?” He looked at you as if you had gone mad, for what other reason could it possibly be? A love like the one he shared with you was that of no other. For him, it was you, it could only be you. After all, it was you who mercilessly tore open his walls, who brought him to a world of constant joy and laughter, who showed him that there was more to life than strength and duty. That he was a being that could allow love in his heart and life, and in doing so, allowed him to see the beauty in this perfectly imperfect world.
“This world is changing so fast,” your voice sounding like it was thousands of miles away from him, “and with it, so will my family, including me. I still have a duty, an obligation to protect my brother’s empire and its inhabitants.” Your eyes fill with tears and you turn away before revealing your true fear, “I’m afraid that my duty will take me away from you, that you and I will be apart, and if I do come back, time will change you and I so much that the love between us will mean nothing but past memories of a lifetime that no longer exists.” Tears run down your cheeks as your voice chokes out your final word before you turned away from your lover and hugged your knees to appear as small and invisible as possible. You hated crying, to be vulnerable, even more than your paramour. You never cried in front of others, not even when you were bitten by a poisonous basilisk in your left calf and you had to be held down by ten men for the healer to remove the massive portion of corroded tissue unanesthetized. A little side effect from your father’s teachings.
Your father always took it upon himself to teach you and your brothers the importance of power, reveling in knowing that he held your life in the palm of his hand. And as much as you hated him, despised him, wanted to watch the life drain from his eyes from your hand; every strike, every tear, every bruise, every single cruel act by his hand made you who you are. You were argumentative, a bit chaotic, sometimes even downright cruel with your sarcasm; but you were also fiercely protective and loyal to those you loved, remarkably astute, and had an indomitable will that could never break. You took the tears and pain of a child that sought refuge in the sea caves from Hydron’s temper, and used them to fuel a survivor who excelled in both combat and the water arts. Under your father, you were a puppet; by your brother, you were an equal. But to cry in front of your lover, who you had exposed your deepest insecurities and fears as he had done for you, still proved to be one of the greatest challenges you faced. You could not bear it if the man you loved saw you as weak, for he was someone who coveted strength and loyalty just as much as you, it was what drew you two together after years of constant bickering and almost childish rivalry.
“Y/N look at me,” Ikaris’ voice was hard and firm, once again taking on his self-assigned role of leadership. His posture was straight and mouthline became uncompromising. But his eyes, despite seeming so impassive and vacant, spoke of a thousand truths too important for any spoken language, human or aquatic. You took in a deep breath, in attempt to remain the pillar of strength you had been raised to be, trained to be, broken and molded a thousand times over to the warrior you were today. Only for it to be completely shattered by the one person you had thought to be completely incapable of stating the words he spoke next, “My love for you was not instantaneous, but built over time. And it was not built over me loving everything about you, a love like that is insignificant, infantile compared to the love I have for you. No, our love is unconditional because it is one of acceptance, between that of flaws and strengths. It isn’t to say I will unconditionally accept all of your bad behavior, nor would you of me; but what makes our love so strong, so everlasting is because of the fact we have seen the very worst of each other. Our love, actual love, unconditional and true love, does not require one of us to remain as we are for the other to be happy.”
The sobs that shook your body were not ones of sadness, but that of joy. Pure, unadulterated joy and complete relief filled our body as Ikaris once again wrapped his arms around your frame, kissing the top of your hair, and continued to whisper words of reassurance.
“After all my love, if it is evidence you need to prove such a truth, look no further but me. You changed me Y/N, into a completely different man. I never knew how freeing it would be to love someone, and be loved in return. I am hopelessly, irretrievably in love with you Y/N. I’m grateful for the life I have with you, and whatever may come, we will get through it. I know we will. I promise. If nothing else, I promise you this my love.” With that being his final word, Ikaris tangled his love’s luscious (h/c) locks with one of his hands, the other grasping her perfect ass. You wrapped your arms around his broad shoulders, dragging your nails across his back like you done dozens of times before, and encased his hips with your soft, silky thighs.
“Ikaris,” you gasped as you tilted your head back as he trailed his lips across your jaw, and continued down your neck, until he decided pay his amorous ministrations to your perfect cleavage and lovely breasts. He drank in every one of your whispers, “Ikaris, Ikaris, Ikaris…”
LONDON 2020 – THE BRITISH MUSEUM
“-ris…Ikaris…IKARIS!” And just like that, Ikaris was taken out of his trance, and was cruelly brought back onto his life. Or at least his current one, the one where he was named Dr. Isaac Harris, historian of the National Museum of Scotland, and guest lecturer at the Natural Museum of History in London. The same one his fellow Eternal and one of his best friends, Sersei, worked at as a history professor. The same reality where you had disappeared for the past 600 years, Arishem knows where in this realm or the next. A reality of 600 years of emptiness and droll living without you by his side. He turned his head and realized he had unintentionally been ignoring his long-term friend and fellow Eternal, Sprite. And judging by her irked expression, he had been unintentionally ignoring her for a while. “Oh wow, it only took you like ten minutes to snap you out this time. At least your mouth isn’t open with drool dripping out this time.” And with that, she was back to typical Sprite self, teasing and taunting and good-natured ribbing being in her blood. It wasn’t really like her to hold on to grudges…well, at least not for too long.
“Sorry,” Ikaris quickly apologized to make sure that he wouldn’t forget to do so later, “I was just thinking about something.” He returned to staring at the portrait in front of him, one of Olivier de Clisson. He decided to come to London a week earlier than scheduled, and Sprite took it upon herself to demand they both go exploring the city.
“Really,” Sprite inched closer to him as she looked at the portrait, “I don’t get it, what’s so special about this one?” She was annoyed that Ikaris decided to spend their time together at another museum, because somehow this one was so different from the one, Sersei worked at already, the one he would work at next week. “Anything important about the print besides how ‘ancient’ it is?” She used quotation marks when saying the word “ancient” mockingly, as nothing in this entire building as truly ancient as them.
“No, not really,” replied Ikaris with a small half-smile and light chuckle, “Just going down memory lane is all.” This caught on Sprite’s attention very quickly.
“We didn’t stay in France in the 1400s,” she stated as she looked at Ikaris with narrowed eyes and a suspicious glare, “or anywhere near Europe for that matter.”
“No, but you did,” thought Ikaris, as he fondly remembered the time you spoke about Jeanne de Clisson, a French former Noblewoman you befriended as you travelled along the English Channel. You two bonded over the European patriarchal lunacy while also trading tales of adventures and secret facts of your personal lives. You especially loved her recounting the love story between that of her and the love of her life. The very man who’s printed visage Ikaris stood before, as if trying to transport himself to that very moment Lady Clisson’s husband sat for his portrait. What was the weather like at the time? Was he sitting or standing? Based on the posture, most likely sitting. Was Lady Jeanne de Clisson in the same room with him, or did she wait outside the room? Were you with her during the time the portrait was made?
“Where the hell is Sersei?” Ikaris looked at his watch to quickly change the subject before Sprite could catch on, she was never really a fan of the relationship you and him shared. “I’m starving, and she said that this place needed reservations to get a table.”
“Sersei’s always late,” Sprite matter-of-factly stated, “meeting, late; presentation, late; date, late. Are you seriously surprised after 7000 years of knowing her?” And just like magic, in came the very Eternal they had been talking about, power-walking through the gallery as to not break the golden museum rule of ‘No Running in the Hallways.’
“I know, I know, I’m late, I’m sorry,” were the first words that came out of their green coated Eternal, “I was just talking about an important discussion with one of the fellow historians, and we were talking about how tomorrow-”.
“Just say you were making out with Dane so we can leave and go eat already.” Sprite interrupted her exasperated before taking both Ikaris’ and Sersei’s hands and marching out of the museum and hailing a cab. “If I had to spend one more minute staring at Olivier de Clisson, I might go crazy.” This caught Sersei’s attention as she remembered that none of the Eternals stayed in Europe during the 14th century.
“Since when have you been interested in 14th century France?” She curiously asked her good friend and former second-in-command of the disbanded Eternals. After all, if she recalled correctly, they were in South America at the time.
“What’s this about tomorrow that made you so late when you were supposed to meet with us over half an hour ago?” Ikaris briskly quipped while staring out the cab’s window, not wanting to revisit the subject. “Because I’m pretty sure professors are supposed to be known for their punctuality, even if their lectures can bore their students to sleep.”
“Hey! I will have you know that my students LOVE my presentations!” Sersei rebutted very quickly, as she was used to be ribbed on for her inability to ever show up on time, but she would never allow any comment about her class being BORING to pass. “And I already apologized for being late! Right, Sprite?”
“Honestly, I’m too used to it to listen to them at this point.” Sprite bantered back, “I still think it would you should find better excuses considering the hickey on your neck.”
“WHAT?” Sersei immediately took out her phone to open up the camera app to see if said “hickey” was really that visible, “ugh, I told Dane to be careful and not to…I don’t have a hickey.”
“No, but you did just admit that you were late because you were making out with Whitman.” Ikaris couldn’t help but join in as he could see how flustered his usually calm and collected friend was getting, when in the dark cab. “Honestly, you make it too easy.” It was unusual for him to be playful, as it often clashed with the image that he set for himself since they first woke on the Domo, but he found it fairly easy to do so with his girls especially you.
“I hate both of you,” Sersei grounded out as she pouted her lips while sinking into her seat, “do you both realize that?”
“Yeah, yeah, we love you too. Hey, I think we’re here!” Sprite exclaimed as she saw the bright yellow door that was underneath a blue tarp with the words ‘Share the Flavors of the Levant’ printed on it. They quickly paid the cab fare before entering the restaurant. Luckily, there wasn’t that many people as it was still pretty early, so there wasn’t an ungodly wait time for a table for three. As they sat down and ordered a variety of plates to share around, Sersei decided to continue her news about the ‘special guest’ coming in tomorrow.
“I swear, it’s incredible, I think the writing on it might be an earlier form on cuneiform, but I just can’t get it right! And the family interested claims that it might be relic from one of their ancestors. Normally the museum wouldn’t even think about letting them near it, but this family funded so many institutions around the world, so the board is hoping for a future donation! They’re even sending one of their own private historians! Also, they personally requested that I be the one to show them it!” Ikaris had never seen Sersei this excited over a guest historian, besides him, but that’s more because she had grown worried that he was too busy moping in his flat back in Edinburgh for a social life.
“What exactly is so special about the artifact they’re interested in? If it’s an earlier form of cuneiform, there’s no way they can actually claim it to be a family relic. And how much do you know about this historian bloke?” Ikaris was getting more suspicious of this character the more he heard Sersei speak about them, for them to personally request her seemed excessive. If anything, it sounded like they just wanted to flirt with a pretty girl who happened to work at a museum, and likely thought they knew more than her.
“Not much, only that this ‘guy’ is actually a woman, and young, really young. Dane hasn’t even seen her, only talked with her over the phone a couple of times. But he said that she sounded to be around her mid to late 20s.”
“Okay…but that doesn’t really explain why they wanted her to study this particular artifact in person. But the sound of it, the family could have just sent someone to deliver it to them so she could study it.” Even Sprite was growing more skeptical of this ‘mysterious guest historian.’ “Maybe Ikaris should be there with you for this.”
“I promise you that it’ll be fine.” Sersei quickly reassured her friends, more than familiar with their overprotective tendencies. “But the sound it, she shows huge promise as an historian, especially one that specializes in oceanography and nautical folklore. They’re hoping in that by sending her here, she gains some personal and professional experience if she chooses to work in a museum later on. Also, the writing on the tablet is unusual, I’ve never seen anything like it. But by the looks it, it carries markings and designs that indicated being related to sea mythology. And although it looks primitive, the organization and penmanship show an immensely superior and advanced intelligence for that time period. And since the site is still being excavated, the family wants someone to personally study over it.”
“Oceanography…nautical folklore,” these two subjects caught Ikaris’ attention and interest immediately as he repeated them in his mind for a little bit. He went silent for a little bit, but certainly long enough to catch Sprite’s attention, and her ire.
“You know she’s gone right?” The forever youthful Eternal spit out in a poor attempt to mask her envy, “It’s been 600 years Ikaris. When are finally going to move one already?” It killed Sprite to see her longtime friend and unrequited love remain so heartbroken after all this time, but not more than it irritated her that he never even so much as looked at another woman since that sea bitch left. “She wasn’t worth it then, and she isn’t worth it now. Just forget about her!”
“Sprite!” Sersei whisper-shouted at her friend while quickly glancing behind her to make sure that no one was eavesdropping, “Sprite, you know that isn’t fair.” She turned to the man being questioned interrogated and almost sank into her seat seeing the fury and wrath in his stormy blue eyes. She understood where Sprite was coming from, but unlike her, Sersei understood that Ikaris was someone who needed time. It was hard to move on from love, especially a love as powerful as the one he and you shared all those years ago.
“Oh, spare me Sersei,” the fiery-haired illusionist uttered in contempt, “you know just as well as I do that this isn’t healthy. He’s just holding on to a person that doesn’t exist anymore!” If Sprite saw Ikaris’ angular jaw tightening in anger and noticed that his clenched knuckles were growing paler, she made no indication of it. “He’s still here, we’re still here! Seriously Ikaris, how long are you going to pretend that she didn’t just abandon you-”. She couldn’t finish her sentence as Ikaris stood up from his seat, and stared down at his teammate with so much fury she almost regretted her words, ‘almost’ being the key word.
“You don’t know what the hell you’re talking about,” his voice tight and gruff as he grabbed his jacket from the back of his chair. “What the hell do you think you have any right to speak of her?” Ikaris’ entire frame was trembling in anger, his fists clenched at his sides as if he could barely contain himself from bringing this entire block to the ground. “What do you know about her? You always hated her; you couldn’t see past your own inadequacies to see what a truly incredible woman she is. She brought the best in me, she made me a better man because she searched for one, because she demanded one, because she deserved one.” He turned to Sersei to give a quick nod for goodbye before staring back at Sprite to lay down his final strike, “You’re a child, always have been, and always will be. I could never envy you Sprite. Because for all of your impressive creations, a life without love isn’t a life lived at all.” And with that being his final word, he immediately left the establishment and walked to a secluded alley before taking off in the sky. His apartment was only a couple of stops in the metro, but being underground made his skin crawl, especially after a row like that.
He flew across the London sky for about an hour before he landed on his balcony. Most would criticize Ikaris for keeping his balcony door unlocked, but considering that he lived in one of the top floor penthouses that had a perfect view of the Thames River, it was safe to say that the area was more than safe. It technically wasn’t even his apartment, as the lease was signed under Kingo’s name as a favor. It was the same for his flat in Edinburgh, the townhouse in San Francisco in 1965, even the land property for the estate in Cape Town in 1858. Kingo was more than happy to do so, he found the search for the “perfect property” to be payment enough, provided that Ikaris faithfully watch all of his filmography. Ikaris would rather get his mind read by Druig than to admit how he sometimes envied how easily humanity came to his former teammates, especially Kingo and Sersei, to anyone other than Ajak or you.
No matter the time or place, these two had always flourished with humans, especially since humans adored them. They were always flocked by mortals; Kingo with his larger-than-life personality and flair for grandeur, and Sersei with her golden heart and constant kindness. It was exactly the opposite for Ikaris, who preferred to keep to himself and only cared for humanity enough to complete his mission in the destruction of Deviants. He never felt the need to connect with them, seeing them as a weaker species with a finite time of living. So why bother with the effort and heartache? Who would he connect with more than his team? Who would understand him better than the people he fought beside in battle? To which, Arishem had answered his unknown prayers by sending him the horrific menace disguised in the form of an ethereal water goddess that was you. Y/N, his equal in battle and wit, the love of his immortal life, his twin flame. You were the source of his constant torment and anguish, and yet remained to be his only form of relief and clarity.
“Y/N,” thought Ikaris, as he closed his eyes while lying on his bed, “when will you return to me?” He remembered everything of you. From the first time you torpedoed him with the ocean in anger, to first time you and Druig bonded over his insufferable stoicism and humorless personality, to the first time you held his hand in silence comfort when he silently blamed himself for every life lost, to every single moment you gazed into his eyes with yours in open defiance, to every hidden kiss and touch shared between the two of you. Feeling his cock harden at your smile, he groaned before quickly standing to remove his current attire and hop into the shower. He mentally recalled his spending this month as he would likely run the water bill up the wall, considering how he would need a long, cold shower tonight.
Maybe going with Sersei tomorrow wasn’t a bad idea, at the very least it might take his mind off you. Except that it won’t, nothing ever does.
ENGLAND 2020 – BOARDWALK PLACE
A figure stood alone in her apartment, clad only in a loose white Henley and blue checkered cotton shorts. Her damp hair styled in a messy bun to avoid sleeping in a wet shirt, and the heat that surrounded her was quickly snuffed out as she stepped out onto her balcony. Her skin bristled at the breeze, but the “young” woman welcomed the chill that came as the night crept in from day. The ceramic tea bowl she picked up from her travels in late Meiji Era Japan was her favorite. Its careful craftsmanship could not differ more from the era’s rise of trademark Western influence by remaining faithful to the Edo Period artistry. This particular tea bowl had small cracks as a result of the firing, only adding to its charm, along with delicate brushstrokes of a heron standing among the reeds. While she was grateful to witness the rapid modernization of Japan under the Meiji Emperor, the gauche colors and opulence made her eyes hurt. She wished to come up to the surface earlier to take in the artistry of the Edo Period that was lost forever. The stark differences in the use of techniques and colorings from either time periods were mind-boggling. Looking at the bowl’s painted delicacy made the tea inside it almost bearable, but at least holding it with both hands chased away any chills.
Taking a deep breath of the city air before grimacing and coughing. No matter how much fondness or even admiration she grew for humans and their progress in art, literature, science, and almost anything mostly food, she couldn’t NOT just SEETHE in outrage by how they managed to contaminate her home to such an ungodly extent. Lady Zephyr would weep if she could witness how her precious breezes became sour since the famous smog that came and stayed from the factories in the Industrial Revolution. Lord Magnum would have riddled every metropolitan area with sink holes if he knew how his precious terrain became so sickly from poisoning in increasing use of chemical warfare. Hydron and Hellfire…fuck those egomaniacal cunts, she’d dance on their outer-dimensional graves if she knew how. A soft buzzing broke her out of her silent ramblings as she set her mug on the little sun table to see who would be calling her so late. She smiled in reading the contact’s name on her phone, ‘Bitch <3.’
“Hello?” She answered in a comic tone, “I’m so sorry, but I’m afraid I must have given out the wrong number to someone else.” She didn’t bother to hold back the chuckle that escaped her throat as she continued on coyly, “After all, I know better than expect a certain someone to know how to send a text, let alone call. He’s awfully old, practically senile in fact.” Her mood brightened in hearing the mechanical laugh that travelled all the way from the Amazonian Rainforest.
“Well, shit,” drawled a masculine voice with his trademark Irish lilt, “you miss a couple of texts while selflessly protecting a group of humans from the world and themselves, and then you just get marked ‘senile.’ That hardly seems fair, my beautiful, beautiful Y/N.”
Your mirthful (e/c) eyes flashed an array of blues and purples in delight, a rare emotion to feel since you came to the surface dimension almost two hundred years ago. You would have lost any semblance of sanity if it were for your “eternal” companion, Druig. You had yet to meet a more loyal and truer friend than the man who was an entire ocean apart from you. If Ikaris was the love of your life, then Druig was your soulmate. The two men could not be more different, whether it be about their philosophies regarding humanity, their battle strategies, or even just their general personalities. However, if it was one thing they could agree on, it was that you were someone too precious in their lives to lose, so they tried their best to cease fire in your presence.
“Oh, my darling Druig,” you playfully groaned out, “is anything in this world we live in truly fair?”
“Of course not my dear,” he needled back, “if life were fair, a certain fair water nymph would have called me back the moment her flight landed. But alas, she left me high and dry, and I was forced to be the first to contact despite her being the one to force this cellular device on me in the first place. And in doing so, breaking the no technology rule in my secluded paradise. Oh, woe is a man to which no woman loved him.” You rolled your eyes at his dramatics, shaking your head in exasperation.
“Well, you should be pleased to know that I have arrived safely, and while I would hate to cut this call short, I should get ready for bed.” All humor left your eyes, and your voice became flat and tight in stating your next words, “After all, tomorrow’s a big day for me.”
“You sure you can do this?” Druig whispered out, his tone switched from teasing to comforting. He knew how important tomorrow was for you, how long you had been waiting for this moment, how you sacrificed so much for this single piece of history that may not even be real. “You could always send someone else, and no one would know the difference.”
“No,” you shook your head as you paced across your balcony, taking in the mundanity of walking civilians rushing home to their homes, families, and friends’ spouses. “I need to see it myself, if someone else does it, they won’t know where to begin in deciphering it.” You wish you could stop your free hand from shaking, but your nerves were getting to you. “I’m the only one who can at this point, everyone is missing or blipped or…”. You closed your eyes and took in a deep breath to calm the tremors in your voice, “Druig, I need to do this. If for no one else, I owe it to myself to confirm its authenticity.”
“…Aren’t you scared?”
“I’ve had more than my fair share of wild goose chases before love, you don’t need to worry about me.” The streetlamp around the corner suddenly became very interesting, if you squint your eyes enough, you could see how the water from the dock reflected its rays.
“No about the tablet,” he paused to carefully think of his next words, “about seeing him.”
You felt your heart stop for a moment, and you release a breath that you hadn’t realized you’d been holding in.
“Ikaris,” you whispered as tears were starting to cloud your vision. His name haunted you for centuries, the very memory of his voice caused your heart to ache. You wanted to scorn Malik for dragging you with him all those years ago, but you couldn’t even bear to remember your sweet brother without breaking down in agonizing grief. But no matter how much you wanted to see your lover, even for just a second, you couldn’t. You weren’t ready yet. “He doesn’t start until next week, that’s more than enough time for me to confirm if the tablet is real or fake. I’ll be fine.”
“You’ll still see Sersei,” Druig pointed out, “and you know she’ll tell him the minute she sees you.”
“I’ll just have to tell the truth then. A very, very, very vague truth.” You paused in remembering Sersei in fondness, she was like the older sister to you. She was always kind and warm and so understanding, a true godsend for a girl who lived with two obnoxiously overpowered and overprotective brothers. You always knew that she was far out of Shen’s league. “She’ll understand, I know it. I’ll send her your love.”
“Ugh, don’t bother. She’ll know it’s fake.” That brought a rather unattractive snort from you. Leave it to Druig to make you laugh in your most sobering conversations. “Just promise me that you’ll be careful, I love you.”
“I will, I promise. I love you too, sleep well.” You quickly ended the call as you looked at the dock near your flat. The London nightline perfectly reflected on top, presenting a truly enchanting façade to cover the horrific damage done to the Thames. You shuddered in thinking about what monstrosities were thrown in and sank to the bottom. You reached your neckline to grasp the only physical memory of your lover, a lapis lazuli pendent hung from a delicate gold chain, before reaching down your wrist to trace a bracelet with an aquamarine charm that was surrounded by small beads of red jasper with white streaks.
Realizing you had yet to drink your tea, you were relieved in feeling that it was still warm. You took a deep breath before chugging the entire mug in one go. You learned the hard way that taking individual sips only made the experience far more unpleasant. You gagged in disgust as you whispered out the words you had spoken every night since you returned to this dimension, “Liv vji nuup jiem zuas tuam, miv vji tie cepotj zuas xuit… Liv vji nuup jiem zuas tuam, miv vji tie cepotj zuas xuit… Liv vji nuup jiem zuas tuam, miv vji tie cepotj zuas xuit.” Using the breathing exercises Shen taught you as a child, all the primordial energy lost from today reentered your body. Taking one last look at the moon before you slept for the energy to continue building up, you stated the same words every night for 600 years.
“Good night my love,” you whispered softly “I hope to see you soon.” The mocking moon and gentle breeze being the sole witnesses. You stepped out of your balcony and quickly rinsed your mug before entering your bedroom. Taking out your hairclip and releasing all the tension in your scalp as you evaporated any remaining water in your hair before switching off the lights and headed to your bed, and sank under the covers. As your head hit your pillow, fatigue from your travels slammed into you like an iron war hammer. When you closed your eyes, you began to drift away to welcome any dreams that brought you to him.
Translations:
“Liv vji nuup jiem zuas tuam, miv vji tie cepotj zuas xuit" (x3) - Let the moon heal your soul, let the sea banish your woes (x3)

I Get a Sugar Rush Whenever I’m With You - Chapter 4.1
Happy mid-week/The Marvels teaser trailer day, fellow Drukkari stans! We have made it to the next chapter! If you missed the end of the last one, you can find it here, or start over from the beginning here. You can also find me on AO3! Now that Bread Week is done, we're moving on to '70s Week (in honor of Eternals comics debuting in the decade)! Without further ado, here's the next installment of Drukkari in the Great British Bake Off!
True to her word, Detective Makkari had done her self-assigned homework on both Thena and Gilgamesh, and she happily informed Druig of her findings. This one had proven more of a challenge, as neither party posted very often on social media. That said, Makkari had discovered that Thena worked as a stunt coordinator, Gil was a Taekwondo instructor, and neither appeared to be in a long-term relationship. She was now determined to get them together, and Druig was going to help her (he’d been commanded to, but even if it was a request, he would’ve said yes).
That said, as he surreptitiously watched them on the morning of the fourth week, he didn’t really think either Thena or Gil needed their help. Druig hadn’t been paying them much attention outside of judgment time, which was when the judges would heap praises on Gil’s dishes and awkwardly deliver their criticisms under Thena’s steely gaze. Now that he was actively observing them, however, they almost seemed like old friends. When the cameras were far away, Thena was still quiet and composed, but not cold like she was during judging. And when Gil was around, the walls came down and she’d smile and laugh. As for Gil, he seemed to get along with everyone, whether he was giving words of encouragement to Phastos or teasing Sprite. But he seemed to have a soft spot for Thena, a certain familiarity that Druig couldn’t quite place.
He relayed this to Makkari on the shuttle ride to the tent, but for a moment, all she did was stare at him with a bewildered expression. Finally, he asked, What?
You got all that from watching them for ten minutes this morning? she asked in return.
It was more than ten, you were just late, he replied with a teasing smirk.
Very well, Watson. But we’ll need more evidence before we can draw any solid conclusions, she said matter-of-factly.
Agreed, Sherlock, he affirmed.
Just then, he was distracted by Sersi waving at them. Taking a breath, she slowly signed and mouthed, Are you talking about Gilgamesh and Thena?
Makkari smiled and responded, Yes.
Sersi’s face lit up as she continued, I think they’re cute together.
Us too! Makkari replied, motioning toward herself and Druig. And just like that, Sersi became the Lestrade to their Holmes and Watson.
-
Despite her excellent sleuthing work, Makkari didn’t actually have a plan to get Thena and Gilgamesh together. As such, she, Druig, and now Sersi merely continued to observe the two throughout the day. While Druig had been able to glean quite a bit from their earlier interactions, it was a different story in the tent. With the cameras rolling, both were quietly focused on the task at hand (he should be, too, Druig mentally reminded himself). Their stations weren’t that close to each other, which wasn’t conducive to them interacting. Thena was certainly the more stoic of the two, tending to keep to herself until called upon to share. In contrast, Gil liked to exchange banter with his neighboring competitors whenever he found himself with downtime. Though Thena was still concentrating on baking, Druig thought he noticed a hint of a smile on her face as Gil cracked jokes with Sprite.
The observation continued into lunch, or at least as much as it could with all their friends now practicing their signing with Makkari. They also had to get Kingo up to speed – or so they thought.
“I have to say, I’m surprised you didn’t pick up on it sooner,” he told Makkari, a response she hadn’t anticipated, based on her dropped jaw. Kingo started to laugh but instead yelped when Makkari threw a berry at him. Druig stifled his laughter, as did Dane and Sersi.
Are you insulting my observational skills, Kingo?
“What? It’s not that hard to see, although I’ve had a lot more time to watch them now that I’m out of the competition,” he explained. “But I mean, just look at them.”
Thena and Gilgamesh were eating with Phastos and Sprite. While the latter two got into a debate about different milk substitutes, Gil shared a knowing smile with Thena, which she returned even as the debate grew snarkier. It was like the rest of the world had ceased to exist to them.
While Sersi and Dane were still looking away, Kingo added, I guess you were too distracted by those two.
Makkari rolled her eyes as she added, Fine, it is pretty obvious now that we’ve been watching them for a few hours.
“I still think there’s something more,” Druig added quietly. “Something we’re missing.”
“What, like they’re secretly dating already?” Kingo asked.
“Maybe, or something else.”
I agree. It’s almost like they knew each other from before, Makkari replied. But I couldn’t find anything in my research indicating they did.
“Makkari, have you been snooping?” Ajak asked accusingly. Makkari only smiled sheepishly in response. Kingo chimed in, “There’s no real harm in it. We’re not stalkers.”
“It’s not our business, though, is it? Jeez, is this all you three have been talking about in secret?” she said, motioning to Makkari, Druig, and Kingo.
“Well, if we told you, it wouldn’t be much of a secret,” Druig added with a cheeky grin. “And if I recall correctly, you enjoyed the gossip as much as everyone else.”
“Get a life!” Ajak responded exasperatedly. The rest of the table erupted into giggles as Makkari and Druig fist-bumped. Ajak waved them off and continued, “Gossip is one thing. Getting involved is quite another. It’s better to stay out of it.”
Okay, mother, Makkari said with an exaggerated sigh. I promise not to interfere with Gilgamesh and Thena’s already blossoming relationship.
“Thank you,” Ajak replied, equally exaggerated. After a moment, she then added, “Wait, did you call me mother?”
“To be fair, I think we’ve all thought about it at least once,” Kingo chimed in. Ajak’s jaw dropped as the others burst out laughing once again.
“Just because I’m older than the rest of you doesn’t make me the mom friend!” she cried.
“You are the wisest of us, Ajak,” Druig piped up. She rolled her eyes, but she was still smiling.
“I believe the kids would say she has the brain cell,” Dane added.
“I don’t even know what that means, which I guess only proves you all right,” Ajak conceded with a sigh. “Well, I couldn’t ask for a better group of younger bakers to mother.”
The group let out a collective, “Awww.”

Masterlist
Ikaris held onto Thena's thigh as she squirmed on top of his face, moaning as he devoured her.
"Ikaris," she tried to protest. "Too... much!"
He didn’t even take his lips off her cunt, licking her clit and making her cry out.
“I think you can take it,” Ajak decided, cooing her.
Thena trembled, moaning out, shaking over him, cumming again, and Ikaris decided to show her some mercy, pulling away.
“Thena,” Ajak pulled her hair back, standing over her, caressing her cheek. “Be nice. Thank our Alpha.”
“Thank you…” she grunted, crawling away, probably overwhelmed.
Ikaris smiled and was about to answer when Makkari grabbed his face instead, sitting on him to get her own ride, and Sersi’s lips wrapped around his cock, sucking him off.
His Omegas were insatiable and, as a good Alpha, it was up to him to give them whatever they wanted.
They’d all been so needy for him lately. Even Makkari, who had Druig, had been coming to him more an more lately.
“Alpha,” Ajak moaned, taking one of his hands and placing it between her legs.
He ran his fingers on her wet folds, always so sweet and welcoming to him
Of all four, she was the one most eager for him, always. Sersi was more affectionate and confident in their relationship and both Thena and Makkari had their side partners to spend time with - in Gilgamesh and Druig - and never really needed him as much as they wanted him.
But Ajak was always eager to take whatever he offered her, looking for his company and so wet to be fucked he knew only an exchange of looks could get her ready for him sometimes.
“Ikaris,” Sersi called him, lips leaving his cock, and he felt her fingers running on his thighs, hungry. “I want to ride your cock.”
He lifted Makkari from his lips, pushing his fingers into her cunt and playing with her clit just as Thena leant to kiss her, sweet and hungry, humming something he couldn’t quite hear, but might as well be one of her sweet praises.
“And that’s how you ask?” he teased her. “Not nicely, not politely?”
Sersi whined.
“Please, Ikaris,” she begged. “May I have your cock? Can I ride, please, please?”
Ikaris smiled.
How could he ever deny her anything?
“Come now before Ajak beats you to it,” he instructed.
Makkari apparently took his hint, and sat back on his face, and he grabbed her hips, eating her out again.
By Arishem, Ikaris had never found a flavour he had favoured over another but omega slick was by beating to be the best.
He was glad he had mastered multitasking as he focus on eating Makkari - his cheeky Omega rubbing her clit against his nose - as he now fucked their leader with four fingers and Sersi impaled herself on his cock, taking her pleasure from him.
Ikaris was now just their toy, someone they could use to get filled and pleased.
He could already feel his knot tingling, threatening to pop. Sersi's lovely mouth already did wonders and her cunt only served to send him off, he suddenly felt a tight grip on his shaft.
"Now, now, little boy," Thena cooed. "She isn't done yet. None of us are."
He throbbed.
Fucking hell. Those Omegas were going to kill him one day.
He grunted, wanting to growl at her but with his mouth preoccupied, but his attention was pulled back to Makkari when she cried out, rubbing herself harder against him, moaning as she neared her release.
It always pleased him so much to hear Makkari's voice. It was so rare that she even used it, and it was deep and soft anytime she did. Hearing it meant he was doing something very, very right.
She finally came, covering his face with slick, and fell by his side on the floor, panting in bliss.
Before he could even have a moment to himself, Ajak grabbed his face, kissing him deeply.
"You want a ride next?" he offered, using the heel of his palm to rub her clit.
"I want to see your face when you cum," she hummed, moaning as he curled his fingers to find her sweet spot.
"Sersi," he moaned, reaching his free hand to grab her thigh. "Such a fucking good Omega."
She moaned, bouncing on his cock.
"My Sersi," he growled. "So good for your Alpha."
She just moaned more, Ajak's cunt squeezed his fingers.
"Ikaris," she cried.
"Cum for me, my sun," he coaxed his bouncy Omega. "Let me breed you up."
Sersi cried out, cunt fluttering around his cock as she came, and was still shaking on top of him when Ajak came just as well, coating his hand in her wetness.
Ikaris followed right after, eyes connected with hers as he came, dumping his seed into Sersi's cunt and knotting her, as his other Omegas just settled on his big bed - something he had had done especially for them.
Sersi curled on top of his chest, cuddling him as Ajak took his right side and Makkari took his left, and Thena lied across the top of his head, pulling his to rest his head on her soft stomach as she petted his hair.
"Our Alpha," Ajak kissed his cheek.
"Such a good Alpha, little Ikaris," Thena caressed his jaw.
Something filled him deeply. Devotion for his girls, and deep pride, for his Omegas were sated for now, and he could feel their love for him, each in their own way.

Ikaris being possessive of his newly seduced submissive bottom even as he shows him off. Look, but don’t touch. Everyone knows who the hot young Avenger belongs to
Apparently, Ikaris and Y/N had two different ideas of training. Y/N expected to be trained in the sacred arts of the Eternals fighting style, not in the ways of being a dumb submissive bottom boy. It was utterly humiliating being taken by Ikaris and filled with his golden cum as Ajak and the other female Eternals returned to the Domo. Despite being given a stern talking to by Sersi and Ajak, Y/N couldn't help but blush at the smiling faces of Thena, Makkari, and Sprite as he was naked and covered in cum.
Ikaris was very protective of his newly submissive bottom. All the Eternals would have to follow stripper rules: look, but don't touch. Especially after Druig and Kingo gave a pinch and firm smack to Y/N's bare ass as he yelped. Ikaris glared and flashed his eyes as his blue eyes turned gold.
Perhaps Y/N was right. He had total control over him, and he didn't even have to use hypnosis, sex-pollen, or a trigger word to turn him into someone so submissive for him, and all he did was show him a good time. Perhaps these fanfictions were onto something after all.
Even the Avengers knew that Y/N was Ikaris's. Even though most of them were polite enough not to laugh at him to his face, Tony and Thor had no such problem as they teased him about it every single chance they could. Ikaris felt a rush of power having this much control. This was perhaps something Druig would be into, so he was surprised at how much he liked having control over this hot young Avenger.

Avatar fanfiction The way of War chapter 3.
This took five ever to write so please let at least one person appreciate it ha ha. This chapter is all Spider, and next will have Jake and them. Warning there is slight torture in this one, so yeah, but it isn't too long at all.
-------------------------------------
With a sudden change in position the boys eyes fluttered open and he instantly became wild, jumping up in a panic and yelling in the empty room he had gotten to know so well last time he was on their ship.
"let me go! You can't do this! " He frantically screamed, "not again.." he muttered in defiant defeat, knowing he was outnumbered and the chances of escape were slim.
Spider sat back down on the cold white floor and held his knees to his chest as he tried to calm his mind once more.
There was something distressing in the boys behavior this time around, something that made Quaritch feel tainted or sickly even. He had not intended to let his past memories and traits affect him as such, and so he pushed it all away and to the back of his mind.
Watching Spider get emotional had made the older man puzzled over his own intentions, he has had a moment of pure weakness and he now sees it clearly.
"I need you to be out of the way, and this time I won't lose." He spoke knowing the boy could not hear him, yet somehow to satisfy his past. He flipped the lights and marched his way out of the viewing room and towards the main deck, let the kid have time to think about his next actions.
Quaritch left the boy alone for a few hours as the medicine wore off throughout the night. He was unable to get much sleep and found himself up and running through lockers for clothes. The sun was barely escaping night's grasp as the man sauntered down the many halls of the ship.
"on standby" he ordered one of his men before using a key code to open the door to room 4B.
The sound of the door hissing and swinging inward had Spider leaping if not instantly towards the door. "oof!" the air left his stomach as he was halted in mid-jump by anothers' long forearm.
"get off of me" he groaned and quickly jumped back and out of reach, his eyes like daggers as he stared the man down.
"you know where Mr Sully is, so let me go" he declared, almost begging.
The colonel stood with arms crossed against his chest as if quietly awaiting the boy to finish his tantrum before beginning to speak.
"hm, yes, that I do- but Jake Sully still thinks im dead.. " He rolled his shoulders and stretched his back out casually and with a watchful eye on the other. "I'd like to keep it that way. Makes things..." He shifted to crouch down again to Spiders level. "Simple. And I do like simple" He adds with a wide grin and a wink with the click of his tongue behind his teeth.
"You know kid.. This could be just as simple for you if you let it be"
Spider figured he had been taken to hide the fact that he had regretfully saved the man whom hunted Ajake. He was now much more calm and collected as he made faces expressing each way he was feeling about the topic at hand. Gritting teeth and hissing sharply as the other finished with an ultimatum.
"I will *never* help you.. You hurt people, I am Na'vi! I'm not like you." He responded with a quick glance back towards the door.
Quaritch stay low even as the other raised his voice at him again, and he also noticed the boy's eyes shifting gaze towards the exit.
"Don't try anything funny, kid... You wouldn't make it far" He suggested reading the other's plans through body language.
"So" Standing up he towered over the still-crouching boy and narrowed his eyes to appear more authoritarian. "We gonna do this like before? Or are we gonna have to do it the hard way?" The elder asked in a lazy and almost let down tone.
Spider looked from the door back to the man now threatening harsh retaliation if rules were not followed, it reminded him of Sully; which made his chest seem more hollowed.
"No" He spoke his short but firm reply in thick na'vi whilst looking away at the wall, Quaritch would have to kill him before he ever was tamed.
"I'm not you, everything bad is you, I won't be apart of your plan" His voice was steady yet felt far away from him, and he refused to look back.
"Jesus kid, you sure are hard headed, I'll give you that" The colonel stated in disappointment and yet pride. "The hard way it'll be, don't say I didn't warn ya" he moved to the door and with a soft heavy sigh he opened the door and let himself out.
------------------
Hours had passed with what felt like years as the boy stay huddled in the corner too focused on planning a way out to hear the approaching footsteps. In a split moment, the door swung open and a group of four soldiers entered forcefully and rushed towards Spider who had fear in his eyes.
"No! Let me go! No! You can't do this!" he hollered being half dragged back to his feet and grabbed by all men. He fought back as well as he could, kicking and trying to throw a punch in their direction. The sound of skin connecting with brute force echoed throughout the illuminated room. Spider coughed out in pain and reached to hold his stomach where he had just been struck, body going into shock as he is rushed out and down the hall.
His feet dragged slightly as they stopped him at the ships dock, handcuffing him before loading him into a helicopter where the General stood waiting with a blank stare.
"Nice to see you again, Miles" She said giving him a sickly sweet smile. "Take off in three, two-" she ordered as the helicopter began its descent.
The boy did not speak to the monster of a woman he found himself trapped with, glancing around in wonder of where Quaritch was.
Another soldier forcefully put the boys mask over his face as the others applied their own with haste and precision. Spider bit the mans hand in the process and earned another hard jab to the side, crippling him to the floor.
"Assholes" he spat through a groan.
"The colonel seems to think harsh discipline would not break you, but I've learned in time that everything breaks with enough force added" She plainly admitted, sipping from her mug and sighing in content as they stay silent the entire ride down to the forest bed. "take him out" She ordered and walked by them to exit the vehicle.
----------
Quaritch found himself in bewilderment when seeing the room that held his son now vacant of any living thing. He stormed up to the front and curtly demanded to know the boys current whereabouts.
"General took him to section A12, sir!" The man behind the desk responded standing fully attentive.
"Ready copter 2, come on lets go!" He ordered and stalked off to jump up into the helicopter now being started up.
-------------------
Spider was forced out and into the grassy floors of pandora's forest, something he had missed.
"I won't tell you anything" He assured himself out loud, knowing the situation was in sinister tastes.
"I don't care. " She threw her hands up and gave a laugh. "Your decision is vital, mostly to you. Your still considered a traitor of our people, your people. You've let down your country Son, and I will not tolerate insubordination. " She nodded to the men surrounding the kid and two reached to grab him by his tied wrist, pulling him down and forcing him to his knees.
"last chance, Miles" She tilted her head with a raised brow, angrily huffing as the boy just hissed loudly at her attempt of getting information. "As you were"
One man gripped onto the mask the younger was wearing and snapped it up and off with a quick tug of his wrist. This caused Spider to gasp out and frantically claw his way to his life support. He could breathe for now, but very quickly he would run out of oxygen and suffocate, and he tried to reach with both conjoined hands, but he was pushed and tugged back to the ground.
------------------
Quaritch was barely a minute from where she must be taken the boy, -his boy-. He stood with his gun ready and impatient to the time it was taking. Finally the sound of the other chopper came rushing the colonels ears, and he signaled to be lowered on his rope.
Once at the bottom he jogged quickly over to the group of men holding his son flat against the planets earth. "General!" He called in disbelief as he noticed the boys mask was misplaced and he was struggling to breathe. "This isn't tactical, we need him, " He tried to reason with her, unable to stand there watching he moved to push the men off of the kid.
"Breathe miles, breathe" He ordered as he snatched the others mask back and replaced it firmly against his face with shaking hands.
"Colonel... You dare step in between me and that traitor? He is not your son, he will never be" She said with anger dripping from her harsh worded truth. "This is your last chance, you have one day to get me some information on what he may know of Alpha 313" She demanded and turned to storm away and back to her vehicle.
Spider huffed and sucked in the air as his mask was returned to him by Quaritch, and his hands clutched at the mans arm, still in shock of what had just transpired.
"You... Saved me" He croaked out through a hoarse and dry voice, looking up at him with wild wide eyes.
"Don't worry about it, just breathe, kid" He fought back his emotion of how distraught the older man had felt seeing his child suffer in such a way. "Ready to try it my way?" he asked as he stood up and offered a hand down to the boy.
Spider didn't speak but complied in the others question as he reached hesitantly to take the offered support he needed.
"Good boy" Quaritch slightly teased, giving him a good pat to his back, trying to hide his true expression of guilt.
----------
Once back on the ship Quaritch pulled the boy aside as gently as he could before settling on reassuring the boy that he only could keep him from the Generals grasping hands.
"You really need to start listening to your elders, son" He sighed and stood up straight with one hand reaching up to scratch his chin absently.
"From now on do as I say and we won't have to experience that again, understood?" He said with warning.
Spider nodded two quick nods wanting this conversation to be over so he could be alone to fully take in what all he was feeling. When the man refused to let him go he frowned through an exasperated sigh, and with a huff gave a quick "Yes sir" before being lead now back down the hall.
A few hours more and he found himself once more being visited by the Colonel, this time the man held something bundled under his arm, and a tray of food.
"Thought ya might be hungry" The man said now sitting the tray down on the bed. He walked to the desk opposite of the bed and placed the bundle of neatly folded clothes on top.
"If your going to be here, your gonna have to dress like it" He ordered softly.
Spider of course did not seem too pleased by the idea of wearing the clothes that were brought, if any at all. He gave a sour look over at the stack before turning his attention to the food.
"What is this?" he asked, pointing to the white liquid sitting in the tall metallic glass.
"Milk. If you don't like it we can substitute water" Quaritch retorted, giving a genuine smile before it fades to a frown.
"Hurry up kiddo, we've got to run a sweep, someone on the island is prepping to leave" He states with a slight urgency to his voice.
"It's not Mr. Sully" Spider muttered absently as he held the glass up to examine the white water inside.
"Oh? And who would be leaving if not Jake?" Quaritch tried to pry a bit deeper, just to see what he could get.
"*None of your business, dipshit*" He spoke perfect na'vi to the man now struggling to interpret his sly words."He doesn't tell me anything, I don't know anything" He admitted, his shoulders falling as he did so. "I'm not a Sully" He adds with a tilt of his cup as the milk swirls around to the other side. "I'm just the water boy"
Quaritch sighed feeling sorry for the other who was obviously upset about not having a family, something understandable and alike in himself.
"Look kid, " He bent low to be closer to where the kid sat height wise. "You've gut guts, the way you stay loyal to Sully is enough to show me you are not just the water boy" He spoke slow and casually as to not make this a sensitive moment, he could never be the kids father.
"Now if your done moping, we've got ourselves a flight to catch" He added in a more playful and laid back tone. Standing and moving to the door before nodding to the clothes sternly. "Dress first" he ordered, stepping back out into the hallway to wait.
Spider said absolutely nothing as he was reassured that he was valued in some way that made him feel less like an outcast. Watching the other move away now and lean against the doors frame, Spider scoffed and rolled his eyes.
"Sir yes sir" He mocked with a contorted facial expression to go along, but the man turned and left, leaving Spider with no way of defying his demand prior.
"*I am na'vi, I am na'vi*" He chanted quietly as he stood and reached for the softer fabrics of sky people clothing. He didn't bother with the shirt and tossed it behind him before spending a good amount if time figuring out the camouflaged pants. The underwear was foreign and also ended up on the floor before the kid gathered them up from the floor and tried to flush them down a toilet.
"I want to go home" He stated once he walked out to join the man awaiting his presence.
"Soon, kid, just follow my lead" He winks at him again before leading the way to the ships deck where his mountain banshee stood lingering back.

Hello! I found my way here after I've been reading the entire AO3 storage of Thenamesh fanfiction. First of all, i love you fanfictions, thank you for writing them.
I came across the reunion fic where Eros brings Ajak and Gilgamesh back from the world forge as a wedding present for Sersi. I would like to ask you to continue this one. I'm a sucker for reunions and happy endings. Thenamesh deserves a happy ending. Can't wait for Eternals 2.
And O M G, Auntie Thena and Jack are so sweet they give me diabetes. I mean she's dancing with him SHSFSGSHFSSGSGSHSH
Everything is a muddled mess of sounds and colours and smells. But it's okay, because she can push through the mess. She can feel his heartbeat, hear his breathing next to her ear. The only colour she can see is the colour of his shirt, in which her face is buried. All she can smell is him, somehow nice and comforting and familiar despite this being, in many ways, not her Gilgamesh.
But he is. He is, though--Gilgamesh could only ever be hers, in any form, in any timeline, in any universe.
On any planet.
"Hey," he whispers against her hair as they way absently to the music.
"Hm?" she asks, although not yet bringing herself to tear away from him.
Gil understands her better than to demand it, too. He knows she's listening. "Remember the last time we danced at a wedding like this?"
"At Sersi's last wedding," Thena sighs from within his embrace. "You asked me to dance."
"You're a great dancer."
"Only with you," she answers easily, and he wraps his arms around her, spinning her in his arms in agreement. She presses her breathy - watery - laugh into his chest. "I remember."
"You were unhappy all day."
"I was not unhappy," Thena shakes her head, even though they're arguing for the fun of it. "I could never be unhappy with you."
Gil holds her hands in his and spins her around. "And you used to call me a sappy romantic."
But Thena keeps her eyes on him, keeps him in her sights like her life depends on it. "I suppose I'm feeling sentimental."
Gilgamesh pulls her against him again, swaying them, holding her hand in his as firm as their embrace but as gentle as her featherlight heart against his chest. "We made a bet on who we thought would get married next."
Thena sighs against him, opening her eyes to catch Druig and Makkari watching them from the edge of the room. They've been on edge since the appearance of Eros, and even now that he's gone, the pair are still hovering along the perimeter. They're feeling protective of her, which she thinks is endearing for siblings she considers younger than her. "I'm still convinced they've gotten married in some way and just aren't telling us."
"Maybe they don't think they have to," Gilgamesh offers softly, running his hands over her back. They come to a stop slowly and absently, as if they had been letting the breeze take them. "I believe you said something to that affect."
"I should have said yes sooner."
His eyes soften as she buries herself in him again, trying to envelop herself with every fibre of his being. He secures his arms around her, but she nuzzles in closer. He kisses the top of her head. "I don't mind."
Thena's voice is thin and hazy again, her tears making themselves known again. "I thought we had time."
"We do now," he promises. He can do nothing to erase what she has endured in his absence, nor can he undo decisions they never made because of how their lives unfolded. But he can promise her now, and he can promise her his future.
Thena pulls her head up to look at him, those green eyes glittering like the seas they used to watch over. They flutter closed again as he kisses her.
"You have always been my wife," he promises her. There's no lie in it--as far as either of them is concerned, they have been bound together for thousands and thousands of years. "I don't need anyone to tell me that."
Thena relishes in his affection, letting it be a balm for her broken and aching heart.
Gil, as he always has, senses her pain and seeks to ease it. "So, you're open to it now, is what you're saying?"
"In an instant," she whispers to him, closing her fists around his shirt sleeves.
Gil starts swaying them again, dancing with a renewed excitement. His eyes catch Sersi watching them before she hides her curiosity behind her new husband. "I guess we should wait until at least tomorrow."
Thena laughs a little more easily this time. "I suppose it is considered rude to take someone's wedding night for your own."
"Tomorrow, then," he concludes. Phastos is watching them as well, with a man by his side and the boy Gil has come to learn is his son. He has to get to know the boy--the only child to whom he has ever seen Thena let herself become attached.
"The house is just as we left it."
Home: their home in Australia. Gil can immediately picture every detail of it in his head. He doesn't tell her how relieved he is that he can. But he remembers every detail, from the way his apron was hung up by the fridge, to how he remembers thinking that they hadn't made the bed before leaving with the rest of their family.
He aches for their bed.
Thena runs her fingers through his hair as he buries his face in the crook of her neck.
"Does it have to be tomorrow?"
"Gilgamesh."
She feels him smile against her skin where her shoulder meets her clavicle. He presses the bend of his lips to it, "yes, dear."
#A soft little#Thenamesh AU#because they deserve a soft reunion#I WILL lie down on the ground and cry#no one understands how emotional I will be#but this is what they deserve#I've been trying to think of what this most feels like#and for what it's worth#there is a chapter in#Hope Springs Eternal#about Sersi and Ikaris' wedding and how I think these two spent the day#that's actually what they're referencing when they're talking#and I always did really love that chapter#so...if you know youknow

Summary: Druig suffers a nasty migraine after overworking his mind controlling ability and saving a cluster of humans from a Deviant attack. Luckily for Druig, he has his Eternal girlfriend to protect him.
WC: 3136 words
Warnings: Slight angst but major fluff!
A/N: I was asked by Anonymous to write a short one shot of Druig getting sick, so I threw this one out hard and fast! I figured Druig would suffer from migraines using his mind controlling ability so much and so intensely. We all need a soft Druig very once in awhile!
Sorry for the editing in advance ;)
————————
It was safe to say that you knew your boyfriend well. Very well.
You knew he loved to sleep in, waking naturally only to the sunlight. You would watch him fondly as he slept so deeply in your shared bed, not caring that he was sleeping the morning away and through the morning duties that were needed. Ajak would get on his case and ask you to get him out of bed since he would miss important meetings.
You always knew he loved to snack. At any time and in any way, he would be eating or having some kind of food in his hands. There wasn't one snack that he detested, although he was never a fan of anything that was majorly sticky. Still, he was always eating something to either keep his mind occupied or when he was bored. Phastos would tease him about how he would eat all of the snacks that you would share yet you didn't mind. Druig would always share with you, it was no question in his mind.
Lastly, one of the major things that you loved about him, was that he was always surrounding you with love and affection. The others rarely saw the softer side of him, which was sorely just for you to have and possess. His aloofness and cockiness that was seen constantly in the public eye were the opposite when it was just the two of you. Druig was gentle in his gestures with you, holding you like you were made of porcelain or caressing your skin as light as a feather.
Even the kisses he would give you felt beyond soft and sure, always leaving you breathless. You were always amazed and in awe at how he fell in love with you, not batting away from it in front of the other Eternals, but was sincere enough to see that you were no huge fan of PDA yourself. He accommodated for you without hesitance, holding your hand or having an arm around your waist. Druid saved more of the intimacy in bed.
Because you knew him so well, you always knew the small things that would harm Druig.
One of them was his migraines.
His mind-controlling ability was constantly harboring tension and stress on his brain. He had a hard time trying to unwind after he would use his cosmic energy and his abilities to help aid humans from a Deviant attack or redirect humans from disaster. In the very beginning, before you got together, Druig would barely get a headache. It was tolerable, something that would wear off after a few minutes. But as centuries came and went, the headaches were getting harsher and more frequent. After you got together with him, you tried to find ways to help him and keep the intense headaches at bay. Head massages and breathing techniques worked most of the time, especially when you could see how heated he got when he was defenseless in wanting to help and interfere.
That was another component that brought the head pains: his anger at not being able to help.
You two would talk constantly, about how it was not fair that you wouldn't help humans and prevent them from being hurt or killed. Ajak always breathed down Druig's back in stopping him from stepping into a situation, which aggravated him even more. You understood though, you felt that yearning to be the protective Eternal amongst the fragile humans. That stress and underrated anger manifested his headaches into serve migraines. He had a few close calls in the past after a brutal Deviant attack or using his ability too much.
One particular case was just as bad as the others.
You were in the Domo with Sprite, the both of you discussing the feast that was planned that night amongst the citizen in the city. It was a celebration that was planned for weeks, one of the biggest parties of the year to celebrate the harvest and the great defeat of a particularly nasty Deviant. You too were far too engrossed in what story Sprite will tell the humans that you didn't seem to hear the commotion outside the Domo, right near the entrance.
A golden flash of light rushed into the room where you were with Sprite, the both of you stopped and looked to see Makkari in her armor, looking rather concerned at you as she pointed with her finger to the hallway that lead to the ramp out of the Domo.
"Druig's having a migraine!" She signed to the two of you, having you hop up from your bench immediately and look at her with an intense stare, "It's one of his worst ones! I tried to help him, but he only wants you!”
"Where is he?" you asked and signed. Rather than answer you, Makkari snagged your hand in hers and she sped off with you, having you feel the wind past you and whistle in your ear. Within a second, you were outside of the Domo and on the soft ground and grass. Some of the other Eternals were there, standing around a hunched Druig in a semi-circle and looked both concerned and confused as to what to do. You moved away from Makkari, beelining over to Druig who was curled in a ball with his eyes slammed shut and his hands clutching his hair.
You could see the pain on his face, almost like his brain was being hammered over and over in a constant rhythm. He had intense ones before, but you could see how his eyes were screwed shut too tight to block the sun and the whimpers leaving his lips that this was going to be one of his worst episodes. You made a quick scan around at the others, seeing them look over at you now to figure out what to do. Ajak was nowhere to be seen, not being able to help soothe his mind instantly as she has done before. So it was up to you.
Turns out, you knew exactly how to do it.
"Give him air!" You said to the ground in an order, the others instantly moving back a few feet as you walked over calmly and quietly in Druig's space. He was wrapped in his ball, his eyes trying to keep the light away and you could see he was slightly shaking. Carefully, you knelt in front of him on your knees and kept your hands hovering over his body. Not touching him yet since he might not be in the right space for touch, you leaned down a bit to talk in a gentle and soothing tone.
"Honey, it's me," you said to him gently, your voice carrying in the air over him like a shield as he was still keeping his eyes shut, "I know your head is hurting, I can see it and sense it. Let's get you inside and in our room, okay? I'll make it nice, dark, and quiet. But you gotta let me take you, okay my dear? Let me help you,"
You were trying to soothe him and stop him from feeling worse out there in the open and exposed. Druig said nothing, still shut tightly within himself as he tried to breathe harshly through his nose to at least get some tension off his skull. With much hesitance, you placed one hand in his hair and you felt him shiver from the touch, but no recoil. The other hand was on his arm, rubbing his armor soothingly with your knuckles as you looked from him over to Sersi and Ikaris.
"How did it happen?" you asked Sersi, knowing that she knew what you were asking.
"There was a large crowd of humans that were out in the open and were about to be attacked," Sersi explained to you, kneeling next to you but still giving Druig space, "He was trying to get them away in time before they would be injured."
"We would have lost at least 20 humans if it wasn't for him," Kingo hummed in agreement, "He got them out just in time too, he saved them,"

Don’t Let Me Go
Don’t Let Me Go
Summary: Druig and the Eternal reader finally have alone time after the Emergence to express how they feel about each other.
WC: 4,459 words
Inspired by this song:
A/N: This is my first piece of writing like this! Tried to edit it as best as I could :) Sorry if it seemed rushed or uneasy! I hope I did well ! @siempre-bucky, this is for you :)
“You guys did that?”
“I love you…so ..much,”
You chuckled as you were leaning against the archway, watching the TV and seeing the news. There was Tiamut, a marbled statue of the Deviant that almost killed off the entire planet. You remembered being there on the beach when you stopped the Emergence from happening, remembering it all in your mind as you were watching the TV absentmindedly. It felt like a dream that you went though that was beyond real and beyond intense to experience. You could still feel the sea salt air against your skin, the heat of the volcano that erupted because of Tiamut waking up, and the ground shaking under your feet as you were fighting off who used to be our ally.
You were still reeling about Ikaris.
Ever since you all reunited and got back together to stop the Emergence, you had a sinking feeling that it wasn’t the same as it was before. Ikaris was determined in any way, shape, or form to have the Emergence happen, which lead to demise of both Gilgamesh and Ajak in the process. It was as if he stabbed you himself when you heard what he did to Ajak, your view of him forever changed. But in the end, it was Ikaris who was defeated.
These past few days were a whirlwind to you, seeing your family again and trying to save the world at the same time. Your head was spinning with all of this unfolding in front of you, from the moment they recruited you in your small log cabin in the woods out in the outskirts of Canada, you were in over your head. But then again, it was nice to see your family again and to see their faces, it’s been centuries since you’ve all been together. Old memories and moments were sprouting back into your mind as you went along with them, especially with one Eternal in particular.
Druig, the mind controller.
You two were close in the past, it even started in the beginning when you all woke up on the Domo. He found you intriguing, at least that’s what he told you when you introduced yourself to him. He loved the kindness you had with the humans and the gentleness in your movements. You were entranced with his thirst to help the humans, though it was overshadowed with his aloofness and almost mysterious aura that he showed constantly. He was the loner of the family, but not with you.
You were the exception for him.
Your friendship was genuine and good, seeking each other out in dire times and would vent to each other when things did get heavy. You listened to every rant from Druig, hearing the pain in his voice when he couldn’t help the humans in wars. You didn’t mind having him vent to you, knowing that it was going to be better for him in the end to let it all out. In fact, you would only find out later that he would only talk and confess his thoughts to you, not to anyone else. It shocked you at first, but he then confessed why later on one night when you two were walking together.
“I find you safe to talk to,” Druid explained as you walked side by side late one night on a patrol, “I don’t feel any judgment from you at all when we would talk together. I feel…myself with you,”
“I would only want you to be yourself, Druig,” You confessed to him sheepishly, seeing him grin at you before playfully shoving your shoulder with his own. Since then, you developed feelings for the mind controller. It was small and simple, the smaller glances you would give him from across the Domo, or the small flutter of butterflies in your stomach when he would smile at you or laugh at a joke. Even a brush of your arms together was enough to have you loose your breath. It was odd, you falling for the brooding and sarcastic one in the group.
But you were, and you were petrified.
You were heart broken when he left you all at Tenochtitlan those 500 years ago, feeling as though you could do nothing but watch with fallen tears as he made his choice to walk away from his family, from you. On the surface you knew why he had to leave, no longer wanting to be under the control of Arishem and his orders not to interfere. But deep down, way deep down, you had the notion that he was betraying you and what you were building with him. It almost felt like a breakup, maybe it was.
Now you were back together with him, back with the family together to stop the destruction of Earth, it tried to keep those feelings buried deep down. You had a job to do, and as great as it was to see your old friend again and have those butterflies threaten to come back to the surface, you had other things to worry about. But now that it was done, the future was hanging up in the air.
“UUmmm, can you just…give me one second!” Your mind snapped back to the present as Phastos unceremoniously hope up from the couch he was sitting on with Makkari and Druig, placing his plate on Makkari’s lap as he rushed over to the kitchen. Makkari just snorted, nearly tossing both her and Phastos’s plate on the coffee table before she hopped up too while brushing her crumbs on her fingers on her jeans before gliding out of the room. Ben, Phastos’s husband, followed suit to see what his husband was up to.
Which left you and Druig in the room.
Druig sighed, leaning watching the TV screen for another moment or two as your eyes drifted over to him from your spot at the hallway opening. His pale skin was contrasting with his black leather jacket and pants, the massive boots he wore were propped on the table and crossed at the ankles, and his sitting stance on the couch seemed more relaxed and unphased. He used to be like that in the very beginning, the loose way he stood and leaned against a piece of furniture showed he was calm and collected. But as time went on, his stance got sit and rigid, almost painful to look at. At first, you didn’t know why he got so tightly wound in how he stood or how he watched, but you realize later it was because he felt trapped.
Not being able to help.
Now, seeing him look as if he could melt into the furniture, it was a relief for you. He didn’t have to be concerned about the week being of others in the current moment, he could just be himself.
“You look like you’re about to fall asleep there, Dru,” You hummed at him, seeing him perk up a bit from hearing our voice and look over at you. Your heart fluttered from seeing his ocean eyes look a bit more relaxed, no more frantic or stern. He just grinned and sat up on the couch, then motioning with his head.
“Sit with me?” he asked, his voice soothing and a low rumble. You sighed, walking over within the few steps to sit next to him. There was a good amount of space between the both of you on the couch, and yet once you sat down, you saw a look of hesitance on Druig’s face seeing that you weren’t as close to him. Maybe he thought you would be closer to him, and maybe you should have. You two would sit together side by side all the time during meetings and gatherings. Why would this be different?
“What do you supposed one does after you save the world?” You asked in a hum between the both of you, keeping it light as it used to be. Druig merely smiled, hearing the lightness in your tone as he looked at the plate that was sitting in his lap.
“That’s the loaded question, is’t it?” He asked back to you as you chuckled.

Sparrow 🪶
Sparrow (Part One of Sparrow series)
Summary: The Teleporting Female Eternal didn’t want to loose Druig after what happened at Tenochtitlan. So she made a promise to check on Druig and make sure he was okay.
Little did she know that visiting Druig at his home for the next 400 years sporadically would make her feel more at home than ever before.

Part Three - Lavender

W/C: 9,719 words (It’s Lengthy! Sorry!)
Warnings: Just PURE FLUFF :D

Tenochtitlan
"Druig!"
You skidded to a halt in the middle of the jungle, the humid air was sticking all over your skin and your heart was going 100 miles per hour. It all happened within minutes, minutes of chaos and heartbreak. You saw it all unfold in front of your eyes: one minute you were seeing a mass group of innocent people being slaughtered right in front of your eyes, not being able to do anything to stop or eliminate the threat.
The next minute, your family was fractured.
You searched the darkness, the only source of light was the small glow of the city that was still on fire, far away from you but enough to give a tint of light in the air and the sky. The sounds of the jungle were filling your ears, having you think you barely missed him as he took the last cluster of soldiers with him under his mind control. Your heart was about to drop, thinking that you already lost him for good.
"You shouldn't be out here all alone, little sparrow,"
You heard him behind you using your nickname, almost creeping up along your backside as you turned quickly. There he was, standing off on his own in the middle of a small opening in the jungle. You scanned his face as you walked over the last remaining feet, searching his face and eyes to see if he was okay. You barely had time to reach out and talk to him when he stormed down the temple stairs. But now that he was there, alone in the jungle, you had a sense of both relief and dread going over you. You inwardly sighed in relief that he looked okay, but you just stared at him with sadness in your eyes.
"Thought I lost track of you," You said in a breath, looking past for him a brief moment, "Where's—"
"They're all safe. I made sure of that," Druig answered you before you could finish, not in a bite as he did before when he snapped at Ajak and Ikaris, but gentler and in a soothing way. Maybe he saw the distress on your face and maybe he heard it in your voice, but he seemed like a different person when he was talking to you. You looked back at him directly in the eyes as he shifted in his stance. He had his hands folded in front of him, almost ready for anything you were going to tell him. Did he think you were going to scold him, to coax him into going back?
"Look, Druig," You started to say to him, remaining loose and timid in front of him as if you knew it was just the two of you there, no one listening in or watching, "I just wanted to tell you….I know why you left,"
Druig paused, the hard outer shell that he had a second ago, let alone back at the temple, almost seemed cracked and melted away when you said that to him. He probably expected you to say something else, something against his beliefs. But you were agreeing with him, which came out of nowhere.
Druig was not your best friend, but he was your friend. Since the beginning, Druig saw the humans more than a mere species, you all did. But with the mind controller, he could feel the raw need to help the humans and to bring peace. You admired that about him, seeing that it brought him joy when he saw the humans showing kindness to each other. Yet as the centuries came and went, the joy he had was slowly diminishing to pain and emptiness in his heart. Seeing what happened that night in the temple, you witnessed Druig's own heart breaking right in front of you.
"Really?" He asked genuinely, though he was still sounding slightly bitter and emotional. He didn't think that someone else in the Eternal family would side with him, or say it out loud. You nodded your head as you looked back at the smaller sight of the city that was still on fire and falling apart within minutes.
"I know how long you have been wanting to stop the humans from hurting each other," You explained some more, still looking at the flames that were licking up in the sky, "Druig, Ajak meant well in what she was trying to do with us and for us. But I see your side too,"
"Are you going to stop me?" Druig asked, making you look back at him and see him search your eyes. The darkness of the night couldn't mask the still watery tears that were in Druig's blue orbs, making them almost look contrast. You shook your head slowly at him.
"No," You answered, seeing his shoulder slouch slightly, "You made your choice. I can't stop you from doing what you think is right," You knew better than to stop Druig when he made a choice or a decision. He was capable of taking care of himself, the others forgot that from time to time. But you knew, there was more strength and resilience in him.
"You think I'm right, then?" Druig asked you, his voice sounding a bit bolder as he took a step over to him.
"I do," You explained, "But I still need to stay with them and make sure they're okay,"

I watched Wednesday when it came out, I watched the TikTok’s, read the tumblr posts, and I gotta say… Is this twilight all over again?
Now I have my favorite ships, my least favorite ships, but I don’t like the whole Team Tyler vs Team Xavier. Did we not learn anything from Twilight? When I was talking to a friend, they brought it up and I agreed.
Keep in mind that I am asexual, I love Xavier, and I have been watching Addams family content since I was a little kid. I had a massive crush on Wednesday when I was little and saw us as alike. Hell I dressed up as her for an entire month before my mom told me to stop.
Wednesday has always made me feel seen as someone who is confused when it came to emotions because that’s what she is, confused about certain emotions. She feels the need to conceal them to the point where she is numb. Which is part of why I hate this “THIS SHIP HAS TO BE ENDGAME.” Like no. I’ve seen Endgame. Not a great thing tbh. Jokes aside, I don’t want Wednesday to date at all. She feels good as a stand alone character. Having Enid as her soulmate is possible but she is at best a demiromantic. I don’t think she even liked Tyler romantically but was curious.
Continuing this, I like Tyler with Xavier if either HAS to be with someone. They are both insanely misogynistic and feel like Wednesday owes them and it felt like, in one scene, that Tyler was basically calling her stupid not seeing his hints.
Now I love Xavier. I’m actually writing a fanfiction with my own OC but I will say that despite the fact I think he is great, he doesn’t love Wednesday. Nor does Tyler. Tyler made me feel like he was trying to win something. (Love him still though). Xavier made me feel like he was owed Wednesday’s love. Especially when he got all pissy at the Dance scene.
I like Enid and Ajax together. They are really sweet and anyone who complains about how “Enid is lesbian!” Enid is Pansexual and so is Ajak (both are headcanons but I see it a lot).
Now that my complaining is out of the way: my actual headcanons
Tyler is closeted homophobic bisexual leaning towards girls.
Xavier reads as someone who has a homophobic father but is bisexual.
Wednesday is Demiromantic Asexual but still figuring herself out
Enid doesn’t like labels but will say she is under the pan umbrella
Ajax would agree
Bianca is a siren plus her mother feels homophobic but still a siren so genderfluid pansexual
And Yoko is Asexual Lesbian/Pan with a preference for girls :)
All in all, this is a silly show with fictional characters. I would be annoyed if Wednesday started dating Xavier but it is ultimately not my decision.

MCU Eternals Romantic!Ikaris X Reader & Platonic!Druig X Reader AU Idea (AKA my ADHD/Neurodivergent brain is whipping my butt)
Ok so, I'm just going to spare y'all the misery and brain spiral I put both @valeskafics & @its-actually-minicika through, and give the most recent one. This is a really long post as it will go into a lot of detail about the character's personality and her interactions with other characters. Please read through it, and if you hate the idea. Don't be a jerk! Just move on, and ignore this post! But if this is something that you think would be interesting to read: like it and/or let me know in the comments, or send it to a friend you think will find this idea interesting!
So it goes without saying that the MCU Eternals' fandom has unanimously agreed that Druig is best boi/edgelord, and I have no disagreements with that. Hell I basically live on Tumblr's 'druig x reader' tag. BUT I too thirst after Ikaris (AKA Not-Mother's-Favorite)...look, it's Richard Madden, I'm only human.
If you are one of the maybe 10 followers I have, you will know that I am already writing 2 other fics (a Robb Stark x Yi Tish!OC, and an Ikaris X Water Elemental!Reader). But if you read this post's title...you will see that my ADHD brain refuses to listen to reason...and since starting to write fanfiction...it has only gone into overdrive. You will also know that I love drawing inspiration from mythology...and dragons but that's another discussion.
BACK TO THE POINT! So I have seen a lot of Nature Eternal!Reader x Druig fics, and I love all of them. But I read @spacetalbot's Druig x Reader x Ikaris fic where the reader is basically Persephone, AND @winterlves's Ikaris x reader fic where the reader is Thor and Loki's sister who controls nature. Needless to say...I became obsessed.
Basically, I wanted to explore the idea of an Eternal!Reader whose powers are like Persephone (Chlorokinesis, Geokinesis, Fertility Manipulation, etc.). And while Druig is like Hades, he serves more as this reader's overprotective older brother/guardian. Instead, her main love interest in this idea will be Ikaris.
Druig and Hades actually share a good amount of similarities to each other. Both are mostly disliked/not popular amongst the Pantheon/Eternals and humanity, both are secluded to their own domain/community, both are much more somber compared to their family members, and the list can go on. But the reason I wanted to use Ikaris as the main love interest is mostly to due with his attitude towards humanity and how he interacts with them. While life goes on for everyone else, it just sort of "stops" for him. He doesn't really make any effort to connect with them outside of being with Sersi, and when he leaves her, we don't see any further attempts. And this is where Persephone!Eternal kind of comes in.
Now, unlike my other Oc's/Reader fics, I actively plan on writing this reader to show neurotypical symptoms. For example, she will show signs of having trouble emotionally connecting/socially interacting with others. Her mind will wander in meetings and need a nudge to focus back. She might unintentionally put off someone by how she phrases her question/response. She will prefer to study the differing flora and fauna in the places they visit than interact with people. While she does hold some love and affection towards them, she knows that it's not her the humans love, but rather what she can provide for them. This last part is kind of what lays the foundation to Ikaris' and the Reader's connection.
One scene I intend to write that really shows how Persephone!Eternal's mind works is how she interacts with Phastos when he describes the steam engine to Ajak. Personally, I headcanon that Druig likes to be around when Phastos is inventing something, but more just to be his annoying little brother. Persephone!Reader is not at all tech-savvy, but it's how Phastos' thinks of his ideas that fascinates her. What materials would be needed to build it? Does the materials need to be first sourced by humans? Is the conversion of high pressure to low pressure like when an area with a lot of water flowing into an area with low amount of water? If I decide to write Ikaris seeing this, it will make him notice how Persephone!Reader's mind definitely works differently than his. As normally, he wouldn't question Phastos, just accept it and move on. But he would notice how you are the only one to really connect with him by how you don't outwardly mock him like Kingo or Sprite, and by being the only Eternal to act genuinely interested despite not technologically inclined.
Another scene would be how Persephone!Reader was supposed to be attending a feast for the harvest, and so Ajak sends Ikaris to look for her. He finds her in a secluded area of a forest, and with a cow and her calf. He is confused and so Reader explains that she noticed that the cow had been eating much more lately and been much more tired and unable to work. She overheard the humans wanting to kill it, but then she noticed that the cow was in fact pregnant. So while the feast was busy, she snuck away and made an area so that the cow could safely give birth in peace. Ikaris would notice that Persephone!Reader is smiling and much more at peace alone, than in a crowded area with tons of laughter and noise. You are worried that Ajak will find out and make you not see the animals anymore, but Ikaris promises you that he will keep your secret, and that he will just tell her that you weren't feeling well. This furthers your connection.
Another one is where there had been a big dispute amongst the humans, and some people are severely hurt. Druig and Ikaris get into a fight about it since it was under Ikaris' order that Druig not engage. Ikaris is impassive and stern and Druig calls him a coward. Persephone!Reader is seeing the fight and asks Ikaris why he wouldn't let Druig stop it, if he can do it, why not let him? Ikaris retorts stating that it isn't their place to settle their disputes, to which Reader states that he should care about the humans, and not be so cruel. Ikaris gets angry and tells reader that it is not his job to justify his reasonings to Druig or anyone else, much less her. So he storms away. A few hours pass, and Ikaris hasn't been seen by anyone, not even Ajak or Sersi. Reader finds him in a hidden area and notices that his face is very tired looking. Reader realizes that she has made a big misjudgement on her part in saying that Ikaris doesn't care, and is very careful in saying she is sorry. Ikaris is still upset and tells her to go away. But Reader just stands there and doesn't move, refusing to leave him alone. She eventually gives him a hug stating that she was wrong and she was sorry, and that she should have known better. This comforts him a lot as he allows the hug. Reader also makes him a wreath of flowers of her appreciation of him as her leader, but mostly as her friend.
I got a ton of scenes planned, so like and/or comment of what you think!
If you are still waiting for my Robb Stark x OC fic! The 3rd chapter will be out soon!
Edit: I reblogged this post to add on some headcanons of an additional Eternal!Reader who is Hecate. Check out the reboot part in Notes to see it!

So, what is love?
Disclaimer: this is fanfiction written by me and I use THE BOYZ’s Kim Younghoon and Lee Juyeon as the face claim of my character here. Everything is here is not related to THE BOYZ or IST Entertainment. Picture credit to the owner.
୨୧
“Younghoon.”
Mata Younghoon mengerjap lucu. Mengundang tawa renyah dari sosok di depannya. Younghoon menyukainya. Menyukai tawa dan suara pujaan hatinya ini.
“Kenapa?” alih-alih menjawab, Younghoon memilih melontarkan pertanyaan setelah mampu menguasai dirinya.
“Waktunya makan siang. Enggak mau makan? kalau mau, ayo.
Younghoon mengangguk cepat.
“Mungkin dengan bilang I love you?”
Perkataan Juyeon membuat kedua mata Younghoon membelalak terkejut. “H-hah?” tergagap, Younghoon memaki dirinya dalam hati. Kenapa sih mesti terlihat bodoh? batinnya.
Demi dewa. Demi Tuhan semesta alam. Younghoon hanya bisa melongo menatap Juyeon dengan raut wajah seakan-akan disiram air dingin dua ember besar sekaligus!

I Get a Sugar Rush Whenever I’m With You - Chapter 3.2
Happy Monday or whatever day you're reading this, fellow Drukkari stans! Had a busy weekend, but I'm back with a new mini-chapter! If you missed the last one and need to catch up, you can do so here, or start over from the beginning here. We've arrived at bread week, which always seems to be a bit of a doozy. How will our beloved competitors fare? Find out now on the next installment of Drukkari in the Great British Bake Off!
Much like lunch, the decision to invite Dane to dinner was unanimously passed. Well, except for Kingo, who claimed he’d be hosting a rival soirée, even if no one else attended. Ajak graciously agreed to host dinner, though her room was not the corner and was just as cramped as everyone else’s. While Ajak tried to keep everyone’s spirits up for their new guest, bread week was still weighing heavily on everyone’s minds. Druig had done alright in the signature, but the technical had been especially brutal. He was pretty sure he was in trouble this week. Makkari had fared only slightly better. Ajak and Sersi had done alright, and Dane wasn’t far behind. Poor Karun had come in last. A heavy atmosphere pervaded the ride back to the hotel and continued into dinner itself. After a solid ten minutes of minimal chatter, however, Ajak had had enough.
“Hey, what did I say this morning? We should enjoy the time we have together,” she said, signing where she could, which did draw a smile from Makkari.
“Sorry, Ajak. I think we just need to think of a subject other than baking to talk about tonight,” Sersi replied.
“Where’s Kingo when you need him?” Druig added, which drew a few chuckles.
I still can’t believe they actually brought him back! Makkari said, excitement partly restored.
“I guess I missed this earlier, but how is Kingo back?” Dane asked hesitantly.
“Oh, they needed another interpreter for Makkari, so Darcy got special permission to hire him,” Sersi explained.
“He’s at a different hotel now, which is why he couldn’t join us,” Ajak chimed in.
“It is nice to still have him around,” Karun piped up. “And it must be nice, getting to eat everything without the stress of having to make it first.”
“Speaking of stress, does anyone know if Thena is capable of feeling stress? She never seems to break a sweat, whatever the judges throw at her,” Sersi said.
“I think the judges are the ones sweating when they go to Thena’s station,” Druig interjected.
No kidding, Makkari agreed. Her gaze might overpower Arishem’s.
“I would not want to be on the receiving end of one of her glares,” Dane said. “I think she reserves it for the judges, though. She seems nice enough outside of that.”
“Really? Have you talked to her much?” Sersi asked.
“Well, no. But I always see her talking to Gilgamesh, and she seems quite friendly with him. I think they usually eat lunch together.”
At this, Makkari’s eyes lit up as she smirked mischievously. Next to her, Sersi had a similarly amused look.
“Makkari, what’s with the look?” Ajak asked in a mock-scolding tone.
Nothing, she replied nonchalantly. Just an interesting detail.
As Ajak rolled her eyes, Makkari gave Druig a quick wink. Druig smirked and signed, Another case, Sherlock? which made her smile.
“Hey, share with the group, Druig!” Ajak chastised. “We’re still learning!”
“Guess you’ll have to learn faster,” he replied, which made Makkari break out into her own smug smile. The rest of the table sighed in mock frustration.
“I’d suggest we hold a competition to see who can learn the most sign by next week, but I think Druig would have us all beat,” Sersi said.
“Hey, don’t let me stop you!”
Yeah, Druig and I can be judges while the rest of you can compete!
“A competition within a competition,” Karun mused out loud.
“And what does the winner get?” Dane asked.
The gift of my conversation, Makkari answered.
“A priceless gift indeed,” Druig commented. Makkari rolled her eyes, but she couldn’t keep the smile off her face either. The group readily agreed to participate.
-
As they were leaving Ajak’s room for the night, Druig noticed Makkari hanging back with the elder woman for a moment. Ajak may not have known much sign yet, but she did know the universal sign for “I’ve got my eyes on you.” Makkari gave her an innocent look as she stepped out into the hallway. As Ajak shut the door and the others headed back to their rooms, Druig asked, What was that about?
I don’t think Ajak approves of my snooping, Makkari replied. Even if she does enjoy listening to my findings.
Druig chuckled. So, you are planning to snoop on Thena and Gilgamesh?
Just a little! I don’t think Kingo’s ‘are you single’ ice breaker is going to work on them.
Fair point. He waited a moment before asking, Do all of your investigations pertain to matters of the heart, Detective Makkari?
She narrowed her eyes at this and asked in return, What are you trying to say about my sleuthing skills, Druig?
He raised his hands defensively before signed, Nothing, they are unparalleled. I’ve just noticed a… pattern starting to emerge.
She paused as she considered how to respond to his silent implication. Okay, I guess you could say I… have a healthy interest in other people’s love lives.
Druig put on a mocking smile as he replied, My dear detective, I did not take you for a romantic.
She punched him lightly in the arm, but she was already breaking into a smile. If I’m a romantic, then you’re one too.
Whatever gave you that impression? he asked, genuinely confused.
You’re my accomplice. Guilty by association. And no one else pesters me about it as much as you do, so you’re clearly just as invested as I am.
Druig felt his temperature start to climb as she sped past the actual reason he pestered her so much. He brushed it off with an exaggerated sigh as he said, Fine, you caught me. But no one else can know.
If you don’t tell, I won’t tell. She held his gaze in a moment that Druig wished he could stay in forever. But he had to give her an answer.
Deal.
She broke into a smile as she tilted her chin up at him. He mirrored her, with his own smile quickly taking over his face.
-
Detective Makkari returns, and she definitely ships Thenamesh! Anyway, hope you enjoyed this mini-chapter! The next one might take a bit longer because I have another busy weekend coming up, but hopefully, it won't be too delayed.

i’ve been waiting to meet you
prompt: Hello I was wondering if you can do a Ajak x Eternal female reader fic. Where the reader is in love with Ajak and normally she is so confident but when she's around Ajak her brain goes Haywire. Then after defeating a few Deviants they celebrate and the reader is at the party and notices how Ajak never dances and tries to work up the courage to ask her and she finally does. as soon as they get to the dance floor and later goes in the bed room for some Fun 😉. Some of the eternals are shocked but Thena and Kingo are just like 'Finally!
pairing: ajak x fem!reader
warnings: nsfw
word count: 2.4k
a/n: hey! this is my first fic here, and i’m not going to lie, i don’t really know what i’m doing. but i hope you enjoy this fic! once i figure things out and finish the few requests i currently have, i’ll open requests here, so be on the lookout for that!
Somehow, Sersi manages to persuade you into learning how to cook. You’re not really sure what spells she’s cast on you, but she did something to sway you, and now you’re in the kitchen with her, almost completely against your will.
“It’s pretty simple,” Sersi tells you patiently as she adds twenty thousand ingredients into a pan. “We’re going to let the milk simmer until the sauce thickens. It’ll take a few minutes. Hand me the salt?”
You find the salt shaker behind some other random spices and hand it to her with a grimace. “You know, I could already be done with my boxed mac and cheese by now.”
Sersi shoots you an exasperated look for the millionth time today. “I’m teaching you how to cook real food. Please never talk about your fake cheese in this kitchen.”
You roll your eyes a little, leaning against the counter with your arms crossed over your chest. “Fake cheese is good. And fast.”
It’s Sersi’s turn to roll her eyes. “Fake cheese will not be nearly as good as real cheese. Now hand me the pepper.”
“Ooh, what are we cooking up in here?” Kingo strolls in, slipping into a seat at the counter and peering curiously into the pan. “That smells divine.”
Sersi beams. “Thank you. Y/N helped out.”
“Oh, count me out, then.” Kingo rears back, looking thoroughly alarmed. “Are you sure she didn’t accidentally poison it or something?”
You smack his head with a spatula. He yelps.
“I’m not that bad at cooking,” you tell him, offended.
Kingo scoffs. “Last time you tried, you almost burned down the kitchen.”
“It’s not my fault I didn’t realize the stove was still on,” you say. “And maybe cooking isn’t my strong suit. But at least I’m not shooting finger guns at deviants all day.”
“Hey!” Kingo protests indignantly. “My finger guns are very cool!”
“Right, right,” you deadpan, leaning over to steal a cherry tomato from Sersi’s pile of ingredients. “Very cool.”
“What’s very cool?”
You freeze, the tomato halfway to your mouth. Your brain decides to conveniently shut down just as Ajak appears in the doorway and saunters into the kitchen.
“Uh, nothing,” you manage to stutter out. “We were just making dinner.”
Sersi grins and holds up a spoon. “Would you like to taste some? Y/N joined to help today.”
“Oh?” Ajak takes the spoon and dips it into the sauce. She meets your eyes, and your breath catches a little in your throat. “I didn’t know you cooked.”
“I don’t,” you say. You don’t think your ability to make Kraft mac and cheese is what she means.
Ajak tastes the sauce, her eyes falling shut as she lets out a pleased hum, and you feel yourself blushing completely against your will. You try desperately to find something clever to say – that’s your trademark, after all: witty responses and always, always, the last word. Recently, though, Ajak’s presence is enough to leave your mind empty.
It’s very disconcerting.
“It’s delicious,” Ajak praises, setting the spoon down. “Is that saffron I’m tasting?”
You blink. You have no idea.
Thankfully, Sersi picks up immediately, and Ajak gets sucked into a conversation about spices and cooking. You don’t really catch the details, but you watch them dopily – specifically Ajak. Her eyes light up as she talks, and you can’t help but smile softly at her excitement.
“You really are screwed, aren’t you?” Kingo says, pulling you out of your haze.
“What?” you ask, brow furrowing.
“You’re so in love with Ajak. It’s kind of gross. But also kind of cute.” Kingo grimaces. “You didn’t hear that from me.”
You frown. That’s not true.
Right?
“I’m not in love with her,” you say.
Kingo watches you pityingly and pats your arm consolingly. “It’s okay. You’ll figure it out soon.”
~
A few days later, you’ve just defeated a group of deviants, and the rest of the team has headed down to the main square for the celebration. You’d gone back to the Domo to freshen up, so you’re a little late as you step into the square.
It’s crowded – the entire city’s come out to celebrate your victory – and you scan the crowd, looking for the rest of your team. You spot Sprite storytelling in the middle of the square, Kingo breakdancing in a corner, and… ah. The rest of your team is sitting at a table in another corner, and you weave your way through the crowd, smiling at strangers as you work your way to your team.
“Hey,” you say when you finally reach them, dropping into the empty seat. Ajak smiles softly at you from across the table, and you fight desperately against the blush you know is rising in your cheeks.
“You’re here!” Gilgamesh grins and claps you on the back.
“We were beginning to think you weren’t going to show,” Thena says, raising an eyebrow.
“I had to freshen up,” you tell them, nodding a thanks to Phastos as he slides you a drink.
You sniff it, grimacing at the smell, but you chug it down anyway. It burns as it slides down your throat, but it immediately warms your chest, and you sigh, feeling a little bit looser.
“Are we not dancing?” you ask, setting the mug down.
“Oh, we are,” Druig says. He stands and pulls Makkari towards the middle of the courtyard, and they disappear into the crowd.
The rest follow in quick succession, and you stand, about to join them when you realize that Ajak hasn’t moved from where she’s sitting.
“Ajak? You’re not dancing?” you ask, emboldened by your victory tonight and the excitement in the air.
Ajak smiles warmly. “I don’t dance, but you go. Have fun.”
“Oh, that’s not going to work. You never dance,” you say, pouting playfully. “Come on. Dance with me.”
Ajak shakes her head, but you reach for her hand and pull her up, beaming. Her resistance melts almost immediately, and you use your hold on her hand to tug her towards the music. When you reach the middle of the courtyard, you loop her arms around your neck, moving your own hands to her waist. You sway to the music, pulling her closer until your bodies are pressed up against each other.
“You’re so stiff,” you tease into her ear, feeling the way she shivers against you. “Move with me.”
It takes a few minutes, but soon, she’s loosened up enough that you’re swaying against each other and laughing. Ajak twists in your arms, and suddenly, you’re painfully aware of how close you are, how the moonlight shines in her hair and makes her eyes glow, and she’s so beautiful.
You’re not sure who leans in, but then you’re kissing, and you melt into her with a sigh. When she pulls away, you lean in, trying to chase her lips.
“We shouldn’t,” she says, and you feel a bucket of cold water crash over you. But then she continues, “not here. Come with me.”
You follow her hazily, not really sure where you’re going until she leads you back to the Domo and into her bedroom.
Oh.
“I like the way you think,” you say, grinning, and you pull her in again, kissing her softly.
She moans softly into the kiss, and your eyes widen at the sound – you want to hear it over and over again. You let your instincts take over as you push her back until the back of her knees hit the edge of the bed, and she falls back onto the mattress. You continue kissing her, only breaking away to press butterfly kisses down her neck.
“Can I take your dress off?” you murmur against her skin, playing with the zipper.
Ajak nods, and you help her slide the dress off. Underneath, she’s wearing a set of black lace that highlights her curves, and you pull back just to stare unashamedly for a second.
“Like what you see?” Ajak smirks and arches her back into you, pushing her breasts out.
You groan and reach for her, unclasping her bra with skilled fingers and throwing it somewhere on the floor. You roll her nipple between her fingers, feeling the way it hardens at the touch, and Ajak moans, eyes falling shut.
“You’re so beautiful,” you say reverently. “I’ve wanted this for so long.”
“Me, too,” Ajak says, her voice catching on a whine when you release her nipples and scratch your fingers down her toned stomach.
You hook your fingers in the waistband of her panties, waiting for her nod of confirmation before you dare pull them off. You slide a finger through her, your eyes widening when you realize just how wet she already is.
“You’re so wet,” you murmur, lifting your glistening fingers for her to see. “All for me?”
Ajak blushes and nods. “All for you.”
“Good,” you say because the last thing you want her to be is embarrassed, and you kiss her again, your fingers returning to their position between her legs.
You keep your touch feather light until she whines and bucks her hips, and you chuckle softly before gently easing two fingers into her. You gently thrust your fingers, and she moans desperately.
“Does that feel good?” you ask, partly to tease her and partly to make sure that you’re making her feel good. You don’t want to screw this up after so long of waiting.
“So good.” Ajak bucks her hips into your hand, and you speed up your movements, crooking your fingers.
Ajak’s close — you can tell from the way her walls are fluttering around your fingers — and you bring your thumb down to her clit, tracing tight circles. It takes less than a minute before Ajak’s entire body locks up, arching off the bed, and she crashes over the edge with a keen. You work her through it, whispering soft praises in her ear until she relaxes against the sheets.
“Kiss me?” she requests, and you obey immediately, kissing her softly.
Ajak breaks away with a smirk and flips you onto your back before you realize what’s happening. “Your turn.”
You raise an eyebrow. “Give me your best.”
Ajak doesn’t respond with words. Instead, she shoves your dress up and off of you and yanks your panties off, pressing your legs apart with her palms. She slides down on the bed and fits herself between your legs, winking at you before she leans in.
The first touch of her tongue on you makes you gasp, and you clench your fingers in the sheets. She starts off slow, lapping lazily at you, and you whine, arching into her mouth.
“More?” she asks, and you nod frantically.
She dives back in, more purposeful this time. You let go of the sheets in favor of weaving your fingers through her hair. You don’t dare tug, but the touch is grounding all the same as she continues to work you. She’s insanely good with her tongue, and it only takes a few moments before you’re close.
She seems to know because she adds her fingers to the mix and latches onto your clit and sucks, and you’re toppling over the edge, groaning. You hear her whisper in your ear, but you can’t make out the words.
When you come back to, your fingers are clenched tightly in her hair, and you let go immediately, wincing.
“Sorry,” you say, still a little breathless.
“Don’t be,” comes Ajak’s immediate reply. “You’re so pretty when you come.”
She winks at you, and you blush as she moves up next to you on the bed. You’re not really sure what to do, but Ajak makes that decision for you by rolling onto you and laying half on top of your body. You run your fingers through her hair, smiling softly.
It’s at this moment that Kingo’s words click into place. You freeze, and Ajak lifts her head, frowning.
“What’s wrong, darling?” Ajak asks, gently brushing a few strands of hair away from your face. “Are you alright?”
“I love you,” you blurt, unable to hold the words in.
If Ajak’s surprised, she doesn’t show it. Instead, she smiles and kisses you on the cheek. “I love you, too.”
“Okay,” you say, a little flustered. You had expected some kind of rejection, but this is definitely way better.
Ajak chuckles. “Okay.”
Ajak’s breaths begin to even out, and you let them lull you to sleep.
~
When you wake up the next morning, your dress is nowhere to be found. You’re still wearing your bra, and you find your discarded panties on the floor, so you slip those on before padding out of the room.
“Ajak, have you seen my dress?” You don’t look up until the last minute.
When you do, ten pairs of eyes look back at you. Ten pairs of very shocked eyes look back at you.
Kingo recovers first.
“Good morning!” he says brightly, tossing you a sweatshirt. You send him a silent thank you as you throw it on. “Hope you slept well!”
“I did,” you say, lifting your chin and trying to appear as nonchalant as you possibly can. You defeat deviants on a regular basis – you can handle breakfast with your team.
“Please never do that again,” Phastos says as you round the kitchen to where Ajak’s standing.
“Why?” You wink. “Not a fan?”
Thena rolls her eyes as she hands you a cup of coffee. “Not all of us want to see you naked, Y/N.”
Ajak grimaces. “Sorry. I thought they’d still be in the city.”
“No worries.” You kiss her softly. You’re both smiling when you pull away. “Pancakes?”
She hands you a plate, already drizzled in syrup and butter. “Of course, my love.”
The rest of the team has gone silent again. And then, the room erupts.
“I’m not going crazy, right?” Phastos looks around wildly. “That was definitely a kiss. On the lips.”
Makkari signs, “Did Y/N come out of Ajak’s room wearing that?”
“That’s so sweet,” Sersi says, beaming.
“That’s so disgusting,” Sprite says, not beaming.
In the corner of the room, Kingo fist bumps Thena.
“We’re going to go have a nice breakfast now,” you say loudly, and usher Ajak out of the kitchen. “Have a good day. We’ll see you tomorrow.”
Ajak grins, and you can’t help but kiss her again as you exit the room.

Dating Ajak would include
Ajak x reader | Ajak x eternals!reader
Request: Dating Ajak would include, maybe with a human! reader, please? Thank you!
Warnings: Moves from scene to scene very quickly, worry, panic ig, fluffy
A/N: The reader is G/N, but written with fem intent.
Ajak promised herself not to fall for any human
She swore not to live any mortal
She didn't need that in her life
She didn't want that in her life
Don't make promises you can't keep Ajak
Druig would speak in her mind
She wished she could slap him but you were right there
She eventually got the courage to admit it to you
You two have been together ever since
Back to the point,
She would definitely worry over you getting hurt, seeing as you are human
Once you got a paper cut (at the beginning of the relationship)
She didn't know what a paper cut was
She started crying and kissing the tiny cut
You were dying
Of laughter.
She didn't understand what was so funny
You calmly explained and she promised to chill out next time
Another time you were walking downstairs with a bowl of popcorn.
All the Eternals were there
You started slipping and dramatically fell down all the stairs
You burst into fits of laughter along with the others
Ajak ran over to you and helped you up
You could barley stand because of your laughter
She started fretting over you, asking about every bone
You assured her it is fine.
Another thing, I feel like she would for sure make you crappy food constantly
Like, can she cook?
No.
Will she try for you?
Yes.
One day she showed up at your door with a container of cookies
You tried to play it cool and smile and thank her.
You know how hard she tries for you.
But they even looked bad.
You ate into one in front of her to satisfy her.
When you wear her clothes??
She might die (even though she is eternal)
You wore a Jean jacket of hers once and she blushed all day
Sometimes when she is trying to blend in she will wear your clothes
Like your hoodies
Another usual thing to do while dating Ajak is fight
Always bickering. Always.
She has to get the last word
And she will fight you on nothing!
Like if you didn't call her while you were away
"I was worried! Anything can happen!" She would yell
Ajak is totally overwhelmingly protective of you
But really she just loves you a whole lot
That is always the base of everything
Ajak loves you, Y/N, a human
~
A/N: Requests are open for the majority of (majority meaning literally all) the marvel characters!! And other fandoms
